One of my favorite cartoons as a kid. At my old Video store there were two VHS tapes packed with episodes that I would rent a lot. Fluttershy would definitely love to meet these guys. Even though they try to stay clear of humans. And the gator antagonists of this series are hilarious.

It's very old school, and the books themselves actually hail from Belgium

This was another of my fave PBS shows from back then. Be it for the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, the Jukebox Band songs, or even the scenarios between the workers of the station and the kids. If the girls and Spike visited Shining Time, they'd get into all sorts of excitement and fun. Learning about trains from Billy, watching Schemer make a fool of himself. And I know they'd get along great with Mr. Conductor. And makes me wonder if he's ever been to Equestria himself.
