After the leak of the Midnight Sparkle toy images (or whenever you found out about Midnight Sparkle), what did you go into Friendship Games expecting of her?

My theory was that since humanTwilight was already getting pushed around so much by the other Crystal Prep students, Sunset and the Humane 5 trying to prevent her from learning about Equestrian magic would push her over the edge. When the device turned her into Midnight Sparkle, she would use its power to seek revenge on all of them (and I was kind of hoping as I watched she would at least try to get some revenge on Cinch).

Between that idea and what actually happened, I think my theory did a lot more justice to her darker look as well as the concept of Twilight turned evil. I also think it would've added more character depth to her than just her crazed "Study all the magic!" plot (if you can even call it a plot).
