So, we found out that Sombra's wife is not Chrysalis, but instead a woman named Chrysoberyl. Aside from this being surprising, I have a theory as to why Chrysalis has yet to show up in the Berylverse.
My theory is: Chrysoberyl will become Chrysalis, who will be a new monster akin to Divine Right.
We know there's that Grandmaster out there, he knows Chrysoberyl, and he seems to prefer to work through women, given that his male disciple (Divine) went rogue and failed.
Given Chrysoberyl's visions of the Grandmaster's abilities, it stands to reason she may have magic abilities that he would exploit. Thus, like a caterpillar changing in a cocoon to become a new being, she will be corrupted and become Chrysalis.
The bigger fear, of course, is that she has oversight over Tavi, who would be in extreme danger.
6465747 A well reasoned theory, that. I won't confirm or deny anything one way or the other, but I'm very curious to see what other people think lies at the centre of this mystery

I’ll second what 6465883 says. I am also curious to see what people think.
