Well, since "Let it Go" and "Do you want to Build A Snowman" have both been ponified, I thought I'd write lyrics for a Celestia and Luna version of "For the First Time in Forever," since it was so obvious what it would be about, and wow was that a perfect fit! I'm still working on the reprise, but I plan to have that written as well. If any of you can sing or know anyone who does (two is better) could someone please make a duet mare cover of this?

I really want to see this made. This is the third group I'm posting this in, because I really, really want someone to sing this. I only ask that you tell me first, and that I'm given credit for writing these lyrics.

It's best to read it while listening to an instrumental, though it doesn't have them duet at once. So listen to the original fist.

Reprise:
I finally finished writing the reprise.

I'll need to explain the backstory for this one. When Nightmare Moon returns during the Summer Sun Celebration, Celestia uses a spell to hold the dark entity back so that she can talk (or sing) to Luna to try to convince her to fight off the curse. But Celestia's spell is only temporary, and Luna becomes corrupted again by the end of the song and banishes Celestia to the sun.

I'd like some help writing dialog for before the song.

I am trying to get the syllables and rhyme pattern to match with the original, which yours didn't do quite so well, but it helped me figure out the words I needed. I updated the lyrics in the comment above yours. I did switch their rolls, but it works out pretty well.
