I have heard the theory, though, that if our universe is infinite (or at least, infinitely expanding, which seems to be the case) that means that there must be some part of the universe where every possibility can happen. Including a portion of the universe which doesn't operate according to mathematical rules. So who knows if we are living in said portion?
