The Immortal Game presents many themes about the nature of relationships, life, death, and power. As a longtime lover of TIG who has read it multiple times, I thought it has plenty of meat for some meaningful overanalysis.

There is a lot to discuss with a fanfic as long and detailed as this, but I think a great place to start would be with the idea of defining good and evil. Particularly in Discord. We see how Discord corrupted the original alicorn family (Titan, Harmony, Terra, Empyrean), so do we deem Discord evil? Or is it not his fault because he is the embodiment of chaos, and cannot do anything else? (Disregarding Keep Calm and Flutter On and working within the canon of the fanfic, here.)
