Let's see... mini-rant on how things aren't always what they seem at the beginning, followed by an extensive history lesson, culminating in the reveal that Twilight's the bad guy. However, those of us who aren't bat-ponies trapped in a Stable for 200 years, and can therefore watch MLP:FiM, know that such an act is extraordinarily out of character for Twi. Therefore, somepony else is our culprit. Who would have such a grudge against Twilight, Celestia, and, indeed, all of ponykind? Chrysalis has such a grudge, and would be capable of the ruse, but I'd think her revenge would at least try to include Cadance in a more significant way, not to mention that war tends to decrease the positive emotions her brood feeds upon. No, my money's on Sunset Shimmer, the slighted ex-student. She has the talent and hatred to pull it off, and wouldn't care about the consequences to the rest of the world.
Whether my theory's right or not, I really liked this chapter, and can't wait to see more.
"Kkak"
You'd better correct that in the description, and fast. Before the haters begin their rampage.
3281558 Wow.
You know, once in a while it would be nice to get the description right the first time, instead of correcting it later. I'm so useless...

Don't think that just because you make a typo in the first version of any text you write. It's very easy to mess it up; we all do that.
Liking this so far

The water talisman was the reason why ponies were able to leave inside the Stable.

Stable-Tec Arcane Targeting Spell AKA Stable-Assisted Targeting Spell -> S.A.T.S., according to the FoE Wiki
Other than that, it's an interesting start. I'll be watching this.
