Author's Note (Yu-Gi-Oh E-Quest 2: Episode 28) · 3:16am Feb 26th, 2022
Whew! That last move was a hard one to make, and the only way to make it work is so Celestia re-freshens her hand several times.
I think I bit off more than I could chew giving her Riley's deck, but at least I got it to work.
Also, some of you may look on the Yugioh Wikis at the cards used, and you might say "The card doesn't do that" or something on the line.
Let's look at Montage Fusion...
The Japanese text supposedly translates...
Once per turn, if each player controls 1 or more Fusion Materials listed on a Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck: You can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists those Fusion Materials, using only monsters you control as Fusion Materials, but destroy it during the End Phase.
Now, aware that's how the card looks in the ORIGINAL Anime, as opposed to the Dub version, but even still, in-spite of its text and what it says, that's not how it really seems to work.
It, just like Critical Tuning and Critical Overlay summons itself as a copy of an opposing monster (copying its name, type, attribute, Atk/Def, but as a normal monster.
Then is would supposedly have to Negate C/C Critical Eye's effect so it can be used as a Fusion Material.
Well, whoever edited that page probably made a few mistakes.
But try and remember to confirm with the actual show itself, and not just the card text itself (It could be a little mistaken)
Then there's also this...
Looks like he got an Errata Change in 2020,
But because I started E-Quest in 2019, its really too late to go back and change it. (I can't over-haul entire duels and chapters like that) Everything will be messed up, and the duels won't be able to go the way I need.
So, from now on, Makyura will have to be treated like its Anime effect. (It will be underlined)
Also, I know Rock Blaster doesn't have visible DEF, its card was never actually shown in the anime, nor did it ever go into Defense-mode, I just guess that it has DEF: 2000.
Rock Armor does... and I have to do something.
Writing out duels is hard work, especially when you know what you want to have happen, but pulling it off is the killer... with RESTRICTIONS APPLIED.
Oh, well... we shall continue.
