Why I Don't Write Here Anymore

I suppose it's been on my mind for a long time, but it never really occurred to me until recently. And because a few of you have been waiting for some projects I promised I'd finished, you deserve to know, as well.

    This exists . . .

This is a thing that exists. This was made with effort, and money.

And Hasbro actually put their name on this.

    . . .

    . . .

    . . .

I'm gonna step away from this one.

My good friend needs some support

You all probably know HudsonHawk, especially if you know me. Even though I've never met the man in person, he's my best friend on this site, on the internet, and probably ever.

    Embarking on a new venture

Recently I discovered a site for content creators called Daisie. It allows people to post their work and ask for collaborators, and it was created by actress Maisie Williams, whom many of you might know as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

About the latest chapter of "Equestria: Civil War" . . . · 1:28am Jul 5th, 2016

Please, people, calm down. As I explained to a reader via PM, Celestia's attitude will be addressed in later chapters. I also ask that you please, look through it again, just to pick up on the other things Celestia said. It's not as though she went "full tyrant" mode here. She's addressing the situation strictly, as strictly as possible to make up for a lack of it in the past, but still fairly enough not to clap Starlight in irons right away. She's not really that OOC. Just coming off a little strongly.

And, if you think about it, Twilight had every opportunity to report Discord for his tomfoolery, she could have stopped Trixie from taking revenge (she seemed clear that she would do so at the end of "Boast Busters"), and Sunset did end up becoming good (which they addressed in the story itself). And again, Starlight's actions are an indirect result of Twilight forgiving her too easily. This was the last straw for Celestia, and it shows here.

Those of you who read: I know you are concerned. But all I ask is that you give me more time to add to the story. No, Twilight will not openly rebel, and no, Celestia is not a Changeling. I made a decision, and I handled it a little more poorly than I would have liked. But please, give the story time to right itself. Please?

Thank you for your patience.

I understand what your doing and I'm cool with the chapter. But like the comment I left for chapter 2 I do hope you change the whole Trixie and Starlight issue. As much as I liked No second Prances, I'm still annoyed at the fact that Trixie true motivation wasn't to find out why someone who has done more dangerous things then her get away scot-free while she's left to fix her mistakes without any form of support.

I'm a little weirded out where there are a ton of stories that literally depict Celestia as basically Nightmare Moon and people consider THIS out of character when it's honestly not really.

Okay, thanks, Lightning. I totally understand, and rest assured that I will go back and reread the chapter later.

Like tomorrow when I'm not so brain-dead and tired from all the cleaning that I did today.

4068524 Because she left. Trixie voluntarily left the town so this wasn't any of the fault of Twilight or others. Twilight only gets on Trixie's case because, as she states herself, she doesn't think it would be a good case for a first friend for Starlight. Starlight didn't have a choice in staying with Twilight as Twilight is taking great pains to keep an eye on Starlight. {She couldn't just let her go.} In other circumstances, Twilight would be fine if Trixie wasn't so smug and trying to one up her.

4068577 After tricking Trixie in taking off the Alicorn Amulet was a perfect opportunity to arrest her or something. But no she lets her walk off two times.

admittedly the chapter was handled a bit poorly quite a few points that you had celestia make such as discords lack of remorse (except for twilights kingdom that one was her fault for sending discord without supervision) are true.

what this clip is saying is basically what alfred said in the dark knight: some people just can't be reasoned with and force is the only way to stop them.

4068720 Thank you for understanding, and thanks for the favorite.

4068853 you're welcome and I'm liking the story so far. so i bet you were surprised i used a clip from power rangers instead of the famous alfred "watch the world burn" speech.
