Zelda: Breath of the Wild Timeline placement.

so this guy did a video suggesting where the game is likely located in the complicated Zelda timeline, and he throws in some good evidence. The state Hyrule is in, the similarities in geography and location of certain landmarks-- its likely that the new game takes place in the Fallen Hero timeline of a Link to the Past, a Link Between Worlds, Tri-Force Heroes, Oracle of Ages and Seasons, Links Awakening, and the original two on the NES, where Link failed in defeating Ganon.
