MLP Reviews Season 5 Episode 19: The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows

*I Apologize for the late Review. I had my brother's Wedding to go to. Unfortunately, i had to work some issues out with seeing the episode. So, i present the review out. I believe our regardly scheduled review will still be coming out Saturday Night, however that next week, will be an old episode review. Since i have already reviewed that episode. So, enjoy this Collab Review with Misskoifishpony.*

Continuing from Last Review, The Autistic Writer ends up in the middle of the Ocean. He has been saved by his good friend Misskoifishpony. Now, starting the review.

ON THE S.S. Review

Missy: "Hoist the sails! Mop the deck! And Charlie no pooping on the poop deck! Seriously dude! Oh, hi AW! What's up?"

*Writer comes out wearing a striped shirt and a bandana* Writer: Missy, explain to me again. Why am I wearing this outfit?

Missy: Well, you are my first mate, so all First mates must look like Mr. Smee from Peter Pan

Writer: One, this is my channel. Two, I would make a better captain. Three, How did you even get this ship? Four and this one is the most important one of all, YOU ARE A KOI FISH PONY, you have a tail that you can use to swim, why are you a captain?

Missy: One, I saved your life so you own me for this.

Two, I bought it at a yard sale.

Three, OH just because I am a Koi Fish Pony that makes you assume that I shouldn’t enjoy the luxury of owning my own pirate ship?

Writer: Where did you get this pony crew anyway?
Missy: *Sweat runs down her face* Details not important.

Writer: Meh, good enough. So, what episode are we reviewing again?

Missy: The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows.

Writer: Knows what?

Missy: OH, I think you know what she knows, you know *smirks*

Writer: If this is about that clopfic that we made together, I swear it wasn’t my fault.

Missy: What clopfic? *Missy raises a brow*

Writer: Let’s review the episode.

MLP Reviews Season 5 Episode 19: The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows

*Writer and Missy enter the captain’s office and the two of them look at the one seat. The two nervously looked at one another.*

Missy: Why don’t you sit there?

Writer: No, you are my guest, I insist.

Missy: Well, this is your channel after all.

Writer: No no no, It’s okay

*After the Writer and Missy argue back and forth, the Writer decides to cut the chair in half and form two chairs out of his magic. Satisfied, both the writer and missy sat down*

Missy: This episode is called “The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows”

Writer: It’s probably just me, but this tends to take me back to the show FRIENDS where some episodes would be called “the One where…”

Missy: Oh, I love that show! Ironic enough, we're two FRIENDS doing a review together.

*Missy and the Writer both noticed they were touching each other’s hoof. Both returned to their chairs with a cough.

Writer: Anyways, this episode revolves around Pinkie Pie keeping a secret from her friends about Cadence and Shining Armor.

Missy: Yeah, and it’s about Cadence having a…

Writer: Missy, no spoilers yet, we don’t want to ruin it for anyone else.

Missy: I am sure that people have seen it.

Writer: Well….We don’t know that yet.

Missy: They reveal it within the first part.

Writer: Well, way to go MLP. I wanted it to be a surprise, unlike most people. *Glares at Missy*

Missy: What are you looking at me like that for?

Writer: I saw that selfie you made with Pinkie Pie’s cake.

Missy: "What? I'm not allowed to take selfies at parties now?"

Writer: In terms of ruining a surprise, yes. Yes you are."

Missy: *Shakes her head at the Writer’s confusion* Anyways, we get to the intro.

*MLP intro starts playing*

Writer: We are skipping it *Writer was skipping it.*

Missy: Can we hear it one more time? Please "

Writer: *Nope*

Missy: Good *Missy takes the remote away leaving the Writer Speechless at what he had just witnessed*

Writer: After the intro, Pinkie Pie gets all nervous of keeping a secret to herself. She talks about the baby and Rarity overhears only the baby part.

Missy: Haha lol daww Pinkie with a pacifier, classic:3

Writer: Yeah…Sure…Okay.

Missy: *Notices the Writer’s mood* Something bugging you?

Writer: I feel that they are taking the route of “Keeping a secret, but the secret is slowly killing the character” way.

Missy: It’s not that bad…

Writer: Big Bang Theory, Jem, FRIENDS, SMALLVILLE, Hannah Montana, Some superhero comics, and MLP:FIM.

Missy: What’s with the list?

Writer: The many shows that have used the whole “Keeping a secret” shtick before. A person tries to keep a secret but crack under the pressure.

Missy: I get that you are annoyed by it, but here’s the reason I don’t get annoyed by it. Every show has used this formula like you said, right?

Writer: Yeah,

Missy: Think of it like that, it doesn’t matter if the idea has been done before. What matters is what this episode brings to this cliché that is new.

Writer: *Thinks for a moment* I guess you have a point.

Missy: Well, I think that you know as well as I do that Pinkie does bring something new to the table. Pinkie Pie has been known for keeping secrets. Its nice to see how that would work with the plot.

Writer: I guess I will bear it for now.

Missy: Twilight and the main five minus pinkie are very suspicious of Pinkie Pie keeping the secret. So, Pinkie tries to plan how she can avoid everypony, but she Pinkie Promised that she would help Mr. Cake with the delivers that day.

Writer: This is a sad time for Pinkie. So, I am going to play a clip that will summarize my feelings on this scene.

Missy: AW! That's mean:0 Why did you do that to your favorite pony?!

Writer: She deserves it. Pinkie Pie kept using her Pinkie Promise against all her friends, now the shoe is on the other foot. So, that is what Pinkie deserves.

Missy: *Glares while her eyes lit up*

Writer: Missy, why is there a hand made of water coming after me…O DEAR GOSH NO!

*The water hand pulls the Writer outside while the crew started attacking the writer*

Missy: Anywho,
Pinkie Pie uses a disguises in order to evade the other ponies, but the CMC are not fooled and…OH MY GOSH, They still have their cutie marks. OH MY GOSH, That is so cute.

*The Writer returns with various cracks in his coat. He sat down with an angered expression*

Writer: What did I miss?

Missy: CMC cameo in the episode.

Writer: Right, so we get that cameo out of the way and then we bump into Fluttershy…

Missy: Yeah, so we get that Pinkie’s job will be complicated as Fluttershy was told by Twilight that she wants baby carrots at the castle since they Shining Armor’s favorite and… Writer, why are you staring at Fluttershy’s tail?

Writer: I wasn’t staring at her flank. *Gulps*

Missy: *Crosses her hooves* Writer, why were you looking at it?

Writer: No reason, *Blushes*

Missy: You think her flank is cute don’t you?

Writer: It has glasses and a clown nose on it. I am also thinking about the Flutterpie, PinkieScotch or BubbleShy, and ButterBerry fanfics this could create.

Missy: Oooohhh okay , So anyway! Pinkie through a montage… that I swear that Cheese Sandwich could be involved with, delievers the baked goods that most ponies wanted while Twilight and her friends try to say hi to her, but she avoids them like the plague.

Writer: Like the Plague, most like seeing a friend you really don’t want to talk to.

Pinkie tries to relax, but realizes she has made more Pinkie Promises.

For a few scenes, Pinkie does what she set out to do, however that seems to be quite a waste sine Pinkie has to wait another day to arrive, which the pressure starts to eat at Pinkie.

Finally Twilight and her friends decide to see what has been bothering Pinkie. However, Pinkie still wants to keep her secret, until balloon heads of her friends start to taunt her until she explodes both physically and emotionally.

However, before she ruins the surprise, Cadence and Shining Armor arrive at the castle. Pinkie is relieved to see them, however Shining Armor asks Pinkie Pie in private if she can wait just a bit longer.

Oh that is just…

Missy: *Covers the Writer’s mouth* Just the Bee’s knees. Cadence and Shining Armor plan a little scavenger hunt for Twilight and the others guest the news, but Pinkie is cracking under the pressure.

Writer: Let’s finish this….The hunt leads them to Sugar Cube Corners, where Shining Armor and Cadence reveal the news of the foal they are going to have and Pinkie is relieved of her stress and worry.

WOW That was a mouthful.

Now, let’s go to our thoughts on this episode.

Missy: I am so happy that I love this episode. I love mostly everything about it. I even love the fact that Princess Skyla is canon, but I am sure that due to the writers not being allowed to use that name will probably be a different name for Season 6 or Season 7 that is. So, I have to give this one a ____ out of ten.

Writer: Even though I thought this episode was too cliché, I still enjoyed it regardless. Much like Missy said. Pinkie Pie is a character that is very expressive, so I felt that this episode fit her character, even though we got this message in Green isn’t your color. But, Missy does bring a great point that this episode brought us something that is new. Maybe it didn’t happen in the way we thought it would be, but this brought a new challenge to Pinkie’s character. A sense of loyalty she would have for keeping a secret. We keep secrets from friends and Pinkie hates hurting her friend’s feelings. So, Pinkie had no way of telling her friends of her secret.

I have to give this one 6.8 out of ten.

Missy: Thanks, but I guess I must toss you off my ship now

Writer: Wait, what?!?

Missy: Since I am captain, I shall make you walk the plank.

Writer: *Writer arrives at the plank and Missy grins. The crew chant for Captain Misskoifishpony to toss the Writer out* Can I have a last request?

Missy: *Looks in the Pirate Pony code of Being a Pirate* Well it is in the book

Writer: I need to tell Missy a secret.

Missy: Secret *Grins Widely*

Writer: *Whispers the secret to her, but he also holds Missy’s cheeks with his hooves and planted a kiss on her.

Missy: *Tries to fight it, but soon starts to accept the kiss. Doesn’t see the cannon that slowly comes behind her*

Writer: Missy…*Looks dreamily at her*

Missy: Yes, Writer…*Has the same expression*

Writer: THIS IS MY CHANNEL…*Shoves Missy inside the cannon and launches her in the air*

Missy: YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!

Writer: *Sees Missy launched away as she left behind her Captain Hat. Writer puts it on himself*

Alright, my crew. We shall set sail.

Crew: YAHHHHHHH!

*The Autistic Writer Crashes the ship into a bunch of Rocks five minutes later. Missy is still plotting her revenge and the Writer owns her a new ship, which he is not paying for.*
