I've taken the liberty of branding all Near-Future Ponyville stories as being part of The Heart's Promise Continuity. If anybody but me uses this name, I will be incredibly surprised. Astonished, even.
The name comes from hearts and cutie marks becoming such central themes in Scootaloo Will Fly!, DayBreak, and most future stories in the series. I doubt Trixie Lulamoon is gonna be waxing eloquent on either, but you never know.
I've revamped the timeline, adding in the new stories and specifying when during the year the stories take place. I've also added a few tantalizing future additions further on. Not to mention a more suitable name for the Sweetie Belle/Button Mash adventure I've had to restructure completely (but that's for another blog post).
Since they don't have much of a real space in the timeline yet, I'll mention two one-shots I hope to add: Lightning Struck Home, a story about Spike having nightmares and feeling out of place; and Don't Tell My Parents, a story about Trixie Lulamoon going home to visit her Mustang (remember Peachbottom? I remember Peachbottom) parents.

That Diamond Tiara/Snails romance sounds like it could be entertaining, and Button Belle should be fun too.
I'm pretty excited for Button Belle thing... I remember reading you giving a teaser about heartwrenching stuff, and even with the fact that I'm guaranteed to be outraged I'm pretty excited about it.

Oh, she's not Mustang anymore. She traveled down a different path. Her parents miss her, but are very proud that she's become a famous traveling musician.
Thus the title: Don't Tell My Parents.
Buttonbelle's gonna be really fun. DT/S is gonna be... experimental. We'll see how that goes. I expect a few downvotes on that one based off the premise.

I'm not gonna make it quite the depressing morass that Blueblood's Ascension Part III was. No Nightmare possession, for one. It'll have moments of desperation, sure, just about any good adventure does, but it won't be quite so bleak.
But yes, occasionally heartwrenching. Sometimes literally. But also fun.
I've seen the DT/Snails ship done before, and done well. Since Trixie claims to be a famous magician, will she sing for her parents?
