    Where I've been...

It’s getting harder to write with swype (pain-wise) for some reason. I’m thinking of going back to voice, although there’s still the hesitancy I feel due to the pain reaction. Whenever I think of writing, there’s the anticipation of pain, and it makes me procrastinate like no one’s business. Writing with voice isn’t much help because of how fast my voice hurts from it (I really have to enunciate

Progress Report - and bonus art!!

The moving process has been delayed due to work dragging their feet on the transfer. Oh, also, the old car I was borrowing from a friend finally gave up and died. Wife and I finally got a vehicle of our own and Sweet Celestia's Beard insurance is expensive in Alberta. Hopefully the move gets done soon.

Good news! The chap is written and off to the editors as of today. As soon as it's done, it'll be posted, no matter where in the month it is. Shall start writing on the next chapter immediately!

Progress Report 8-17-14 · 5:56am Aug 17th, 2014

Here's the new, expanded checklist.

1) First scene in mission one that needs substantial tweaking... Progress: Progress: 100% initial write, In editing
3) Second scene in mission one that needs substantial tweaking... Progress: 100% initial write, In editing
4) Third scene in mission one that needs substantial tweaking... Progress: Nil
5) One scene in mission two needs substantial tweaking... Progress: 100% initial write, In editing
6) First scene in mission three that needs substantial tweaking... Progress: Nil
7) Second scene in mission three that needs substantial tweaking... Progress: Nil
8) Scene in mission three must be added… Progress… Nil
8) Mission one needs an additional scene... Progress: 95% initial write, In editing but needs a tweak or two
9) Chapter one needs a re-write... Progress: 100% initial write, In editing
10) Other chapters need a formatting refresh... Progress: Nil
11) DI needs work... Progress: Nil
12) Secret project needs work... Progress: Nil
13) Chapter 25 Editing... Progress: Happening slowly
14) Chapter 26 Editing... Progress: Barely started really
15) Chapter 0 rewrite... Progress: 100% initial write, In editing
16) Contact artists… Progress: 1/5
17) NAMES! Holy crap, names… Progress: HA! Yeah, right.

As you can see, there's still a LOT to do, with more being added. However, some progress has been made. Ch1's re-write is done with initial writing. Some of the scene tweaks are done, too. Not as much progress as I'd like, but at least something happened. Lots to go, though. Thank you all again for your patience. I'm so sorry it's taking this long, but my hands can't go any faster in their current state. Doc appointment is on Aug 27th. 10 days...

That's a huge checklist, but hey, you're basically running a marathon with a twisted ankle. Pace yourself, we'll still be there!

Nice. Just remember to pace yourself, last thing you want to do is further aggravate things. I know from painfully personal experience what it's like working through some of the issues you've mentioned. Different causes but spent two years working at a computer with the symptoms equivalent to/similar to those of bad rheumatoid and otsio-arthritis at the same time.
In short really looking forward to updates but not at the expense of your health, and we'll still be here when the updates come.

Keep up the great work! We'll be here when it's ready, so take your time!
