Hello! I'd like to apologize, but Episode 7 of Ultimate Spider-Man has been pushed back to a later date. School and work were a bit more hectic than I anticipated. Fortunately, we are only pushing the date back a couple of weeks, AND I'll give you guys a bonus.
Now that enough time has passed, how does everyone feel about the game? Share your thoughts! Positive and negative! Gameplay. Story. Characters. Whatever!
Most of the harem aspects have been removed, among other things! Now I'll focus on finishing the finale. I'll also rewrite the first chapter completely.

While i personaly didnt care either way, and agree with the need to appeal to a larger audience- what was the reason for removing the harem-esque subplot? my memory isnt as good as it was.
2280925 Killing a majority of the harem subplot will help the story appeal to a larger audience. Plus, the harem takes away from the Parker x Sparkle romance. This helps makes things more believable. Three-four mares crushing a single guy? Believable. Over a dozen? Not so much.

2281470 Not sure about House of Parker. I'll think about it for a while, but as of now, I'm not content on bringing it back. As for what's getting cut, it's mostly anything where the mares show attraction or herd concepts being laid out. Some will remain (namely Twilight, Luna, Trixie, Derpy (a fangirl crush is innocent), and Sweetie Belle (a schoolyard crush is equally as innocent and more adorable), but it's getting cut back a significant amount.
2281741 If it makes the story work better then you've made the right choice. I think you've picked the best possible choices for Peter to have flock around him, even if they aren't all in an uber-romantic way.
i was actually fine with the whole harem thing. but if you're happy with the changes, i support you wholeheartedly.

It bothered me a little that it went to the lengths that it did. 3-5 mares? Believable, if a little silly. A dozen mares pining for Pete's attention? That's a little crazy. It never bothered me enough to make the story less enjoyable, mind. But I'm glad you changed it.

Like I said, Twilight (obvious, seeing as she's the primary love interest), Luna (her development leading to the Venom subplot are pivotal to the main story), Trixie (her character's had time to develop, and seeing as Peter's her first friend in Spiders and Magic, it's understandable why she's attracted to him), Derpy (an uber fangirl), and Sweetie Belle (a little girl harboring a puppy dog crush. It's innocent).

2283042 Wait a minute, doesn't Fluttershy still have a crush on Peter (the blushing and wingboners are still there in the edited chapters) along with Scootalo and Apple Bloom (although Apple Bloom does see Peter as more of a second big brother and Scootalo also has a young crush like Sweetie Belle so both of those cases are understandable)?
Not to mention Spitfire's "herd comment" (unless you just plan for that to be a one-off offhand comment by the laid-back Wnderbolt)

And I haven't made it to Scootaloo's bits yet. Although, I may keep hers since it's no different from Sweetie's (a schoolyard crush).

2287573 Haha. I'm not axing the harem completely. I'm just toning it down a LOT. Peter's 1000% with Twilight. Luna and Trixie
still have feelings for him due to their time of development. And Derpy, Sweetie, and Scootaloo have schoolyard crushes, so they're innocent. 
And Fluttershy's still attracted to Peter. 
So, I wonder, will Felicia try to follow Peter back to Equestria? She strikes me as the sort of girl who wouldn't give up easily, even if her rival is the God-Princess of Friendship.
How much of the first chapter will change?
Anyway, thanks for the thrill ride of a fic. I can't wait for the epilogue.
