I'm a writer of fluff, kibitzer, and especially interested in canon AU: Equestria Girls, the comics, etc. They are fun to play with.

    Follow-up on that stalker thing

He seems to have gone quiet for now. I'm assuming the admins managed to smack down all of those alts. I haven't seen any new material on Tumblr or DeviantArt, either.

Speaking of DeviantArt, here's the reply I got from them:

    Thanks for getting in touch!

A member of the DeviantArt staff has reviewed this situation, and we have taken appropriate steps to resolve the problem.

    Just so you know...

There's a person on here who has been creating alts and harassing me. I keep getting posts like "why have you stopped talking to me? Tell me what I did. I need closure." I'm also getting PMs along the order of "yo, why are you ignoring X? I thought you were friends."

    I lurk

I know some people have asked why I won’t say anything, etc., but the truth is that I lurk. I sign in to see something, usually to re-read Rage Reviews. There are some things I can’t see unless I’m a bonafide member over a certain age. And then I just don’t ever log out, but I’m not “here” and ignoring anyone on purpose.

Some people make themselves very, very unhappy

Haven't been around much, but then, you knew that. Busyness, health issues, and frankly a whole lot of depression. Even ponies weren't interesting me very much anymore. I had a ticket to go to EQLA and a party that same weekend, and I did not go to either.

    Hey guys guys guys

So, hi, you haven't probably seen much from me, and that is primarily because I have been sucked in again by my primary fandom, Harry Potter. Which isn't surprising, considering that I help run a convention and teach a course on it and am the school's club's faculty advisor and have given talks on it for, oh, over a decade.

So for me, for the last few months, it has been mostly about:

Whoo-hoo!

Looks like the first chapter of Rainbow Rocks can be seen on ITunes, and yes, it is going to conflict with my story!--

--or not, because it's just possible it is only a dream.

I'm not going to soften this. The book doesn't look good. Scratch that. The book looks terrible. If you saw the first movie and read the book, the book didn't have any real extra value, and we lost the animation, music, and voice acting that were its saving graces. I don't mean to insult the author. It's just that it's a thankless task.

So why am I going ahead, when it's almost going to need an AU tag from the get-go? Because mine is probably going to have 100% more Cheese Sandwich, that's why, which pre-awesomes it.

EDIT FOR MAJOR MATH ERROR (see below): It will have a lot more Cheese Sandwich, and a whole lot less Flash Sentry. How do I know this? Because there's already a mention of Flash on page two. Already. Also, his first name is apparently "Handsome."

SECOND EDIT: Apparently it's a prequel?

Cheese Sandwich is the only justification you need for any AU. :pinkiehappy:

Also... oh dear. It josses it already in the first chapter? I'm guessing because they didn't forget about the magical horrifying ending or something? Or is it because Cheese isn't there? :rainbowhuh:

Naw. Time overlap. Basically, the events of the book take place at the same time as the events of the story, which was one thing I thought might happen. On the other hand, it may be a giant daydream, plus the director of the film ALREADY posted on Equestria Daily, "please don't judge the movie by the book!" So I can side step that one for a few more months, sorta.

I'm very sorry, but I need to say this: one hundred percent more of zero is still zero. Determining how much more Cheese Sandwich your story will have is literally a case of dividing by zero.

Again, sorry. Misused math is a pet peeve of mine. :twilightsheepish:

1978272 Augh! Sorry! I am so freaking tired, and math class was a bazillion years ago, and I sucked at it then, too.
