You'd think after a solid week I'd stop being so amused by my new avatar, but every time I look at it, it gets funnier to me. Dash ain't got time for your shit!
Anyway, writing junk:
5,003 words drafted (MSWord word count) out of 6,500 (estimated finished length).
So this story isn't really fighting with me that much at this point, it's more me fighting with myself to focus on it instead of random internet shenanigans. Lousy internet, with its flashing lights and colorful pictures! What does it think I am? Not someone distracted every five minu—Ooh, shiny thing!
Anyway, chapter 12 is progressing nicely when I actually have the resolve to focus on it. I'm a scene away from finishing, then I have the epilogue to write, which should be 1-3k words total. Probably leaning towards the longer side of that, and I wouldn't be surprised if the last scene of chapter 12 ran a touch over 1500 more words. If I were a bettin' man (which I try not to be), I'd say Room's gonna come in around the 75k word marker.
Next up...uh...same as last week. Pluggin' away here. I've put up some good word count numbers just recently on this (fun fact: the scene from last week's production blog had to be torn apart and rewritten because it sucked, and ~3k of this blog's word count was written in the last 25 hours or so). If things stay on course, I'll be done soon. There'll probably be a touch of a breather afterwards, so next week's blog might just been the final numbers on this chapter and the epilogue. Then again, I got this one-shot I've been itching to get written for weeks I might dive headlong into. We shall see.

Also, one-shot! Huzzah! Is it going to be a comedy, slice of life, da- wait, don't tell me. Surprises are awesome. But not as awesome as that sunglasses Dashie.
I think your new avatar is better then your old one. It just has more charm to it, where as other one was funny but got kinda old after awhile.
