An update (5/19) · 6:49am May 19th, 2012
First off, no, I'm not dead, and 'Phases of the Moon' has not been cancelled. It's simply been a bad couple of months for me in RL (illness, hospital trip, and other assorted crap). The good news is that I'm past it now. The bad is that while my body is doing fine, my motivation is still a bit on the sick side. I want to get back to writing the story, it's just that when I sit down to write, I just can't seem to get into any sort of groove. I want to write it, heck, I want to see it finished more than you guys want to read it to be honest, it's just... (shrugs)
Honestly, what I think I need is time off from work that doesn't involve me being sick in one manner or another. The problem with that is, after being sick for so long, I don't have the money to afford taking a week or two off, especially just to write fan fiction. I promise you though, I WILL get this thing done. All I can do is ask for your continued patience.
Thank you for your time, and hopefully I'll soon be back to churning out the pages and chapters.

So good to hear from you. I've just gotten into your stuff recently, and I was worried I'd seen the last.
Don't worry about us. I understand all too well what it's like to go through an unfortunate time; to lose focus and be out of sorts.
The only cure for that I've found is time and the company of friends. And hey, in a pinch, if you can spare the former, we can provide the latter.
We'll still be here, don't worry. Take your time, nurse your health, and we'll look forward to seeing the finished work.
We still love you, and we're very patient people, take as much time as you need! But seriously, you not being dead just made my night.
needed an updated comment so here it is, thanks for all the hard work. whether you continue or not i must say thanks, for all the good reads so far and hopefully to come, please do finish phases of the moon. i understand if you don't however, thanks for the thought put behind it. the story rocks!
