2/16/2019, No New Fic This Week

You know what the big problem with having something done way before the due date is? Having all that extra time before the next due date rolls around to waste time doing whatever whimsical bullshit tickles your fancy. This week, it was less procrastination and more a combination of writer's block, indecision, and my work situation. See, I'm getting ready to change jobs, and this

2/5/2019, The Bucket gets a Hole

Why do I always add the date to the title? To be honest, even I'm not sure anymore. I think it's a holdover from before Fimfiction's blogs had the dates. Either way, more stuff after the break!

    1/20/2019, Wild BLUNDY Appears!

A posted story? Another one finished and waiting to be released? Rewatching the entire series? What is this, 2012?

Nah, it's just a sign of the apocalypse. Beware, readers, for Blundy has officially returned from the dead. Raaaawr.

1/15/2018, Same Old Song and Dance

No big promises this time. No idiotic pledges to write at least 1k a day. I'd like to, but I'm just gonna lean back and put it on cruise control. I want to write again, but I'm going ease back into it, rather than sprinting right out of the gate like I used to try to do.

    7/21/17, Not Dead (Yet!)

I don't really like making excuses, so I'm just going to come out and say it: Between INJUSTICE 2, Until Dawn and working seven days a week, I haven't really done much (read: anything) in the way of writing since my ol' buddy ol' pall Timaeus challenged me to write a TaviScratch one-shot which I promptly started and then stopped working on

TwiDash Chat Log and writing news after the break!

[3:06:20 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): http://askeremika.tumblr.com/post/59514007549/mikasa-well-maybe-one-day
[3:08:45 PM] Peroth E.: Y'know, they might not actually be underage.
[3:08:48 PM] Peroth E.: What are they, 15?
[3:08:56 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): I think so.
[3:09:04 PM] Tom Beesley: I thought they were supposed to be 16 when they joined
[3:09:23 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): According to the Wiki they're 15.
[3:09:31 PM] Tom Beesley: Ah, alrighty
[3:09:34 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): I thought alon the same lines as Tom, though.
[3:09:36 PM] Peroth E.: Drawing parallels to ye olden England and the quality of life (with or without the walls) the age to consent to marriage probably would have been around then.
[3:09:55 PM] Tom Beesley: ...isn't AoT in da futures?
[3:09:56 PM] Peroth E.: Or at least the age to consent to sex, but the two tend to go hand in hand.
[3:10:20 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Tom: a future where they use cannons as their biggest weapons?
[3:10:30 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): I think it's more of an alt history.
[3:10:31 PM] Peroth E.: Look at the buildings they live in even inside the walls. In the opening episodes, it was stone and thatch, much like older buildings.
[3:10:45 PM] Peroth E.: Not to mention they've discussed the plague, and the constant worry about the Titans.
[3:10:54 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): [3:10 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt):

<<< I think it's more of an alt history.
[3:10:58 PM] Peroth E.: Though now that I think about they, they discussed overpopulation in AoT.
[3:11:18 PM] Peroth E.: Though I doubt that would change the age of consent/marriage.
[3:11:42 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): I'm gonna say the same thing I said to Tim: There has to be a city on the sea somewhere. What titan can swim? Srsly, that'd be the smartest thing to do.
[3:11:53 PM] Peroth E.: So, drawing those parallels, I'd say they're at the right age to get hitched.
[3:12:11 PM] Peroth E.: Titans aren't shown needing to eat and they don't die of old age.
[3:12:19 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): If Mikasa ever gets teh balls to say what she REALLY thinks, that is.
[3:12:20 PM] Peroth E.: I doubt that water or a lack of air will stop them.
[3:12:48 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): They're not tall enough to reach the city if they're under 40ft of water.
[3:12:49 PM] Tom Beesley: ...I just realised that I actually would be able to get married if I wanted to
[3:12:52 PM] Tom Beesley: That's weird
[3:12:59 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Build a city ON THE WATER.
[3:13:01 PM] Peroth E.: They can climb.
[3:13:14 PM] Peroth E.: The walls around the cities are sheer walls
[3:13:16 PM] Peroth E.: Nothing to grip
[3:13:20 PM | Edited 3:13:24 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Sure they can. But onot a sheer wall, as we've seen.
[3:13:35 PM] Peroth E.: It's much harder to sheer the sides of whatever islands you'll be living on.
[3:13:49 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): So do the same thing, but add a deep-ass moat, or do it in the middle of the ocean.
[3:14:00 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Not an island, P. The sea.
[3:14:08 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Just build it on the water.
[3:14:15 PM] Peroth E.: Then you have to worry about resources.
[3:14:22 PM] Peroth E.: How would you built it on the water?
[3:14:28 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Fish.
[3:14:38 PM] Peroth E.: Fish aren't THAT cooperative.
[3:14:47 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): There are plenty of bouyant materials.
[3:14:56 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): I meant fish to eat, silly.
[3:15:02 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Japan does it.
[3:15:06 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): So does Maine.
[3:15:11 PM] Peroth E.: Yeah, but what about agriculture?
[3:15:17 PM] Peroth E.: Farming vegetables and fruits?
[3:15:20 PM] Tom Beesley: Japan can trade with other countries
[3:15:21 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Well... we also hunt, but we fish too!
[3:15:22 PM] Peroth E.: And what about building materials?
[3:15:24 PM] Tom Beesley: So can Maine
[3:15:27 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Who needs those? :P
[3:15:43 PM] Peroth E.: The people who need to make the walls to stop the titans from climbing onto their ocean city!
[3:15:49 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): lol
[3:16:06 PM | Edited 3:16:27 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Put soil on the top of the walls and grow the crpps up there!
[3:16:09 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Ta-da!
[3:16:22 PM] Tom Beesley: Isn't it said somewhere that Titans have ridiculously low density or something?
[3:16:27 PM] Tom Beesley: Wouldn't they float?
[3:16:43 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): That'd be interesting..
[3:16:44 PM] Peroth E.: They ARE mostly full of air.
[3:16:50 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Maybe they can... WALK ON WATER!
[3:16:56 PM] Peroth E.: And also, you'd have to create a constant flow of fresh water along the tops of the walls.
[3:16:58 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): That'd be terrifying...
[3:17:02 PM] Tom Beesley: Or just make themselves into a raft
[3:17:05 PM] Peroth E.: Salt water would kill plants.
[3:17:10 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): They would.
[3:17:18 PM] Peroth E.: And the fresh water would have to be readily delivered over and over again to prevent stagnation.
[3:17:19 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Unless you were using SEAWEED!
[3:17:31 PM] Peroth E.: Seaweed doesn't smoke like landweed, dipshit!
[3:17:37 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Seaweed is actually pretty good.
[3:17:45 PM] Peroth E.: Only wrapped around raw fish.
[3:17:52 PM] Tom Beesley: And that's like, cabbage
[3:17:53 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): It's in icecream, P.
[3:17:53 PM] Peroth E.: Otherwise you're chewing on soaked lettuce.
[3:18:05 PM] Peroth E.: EVERYTHING is in ice cream
[3:18:09 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): lol
[3:18:09 PM] Peroth E.: I've seen Wasabi ice cream
[3:18:15 PM] Peroth E.: And sushi ice cream
[3:18:19 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): No, I mean it's a key ingrediant.
[3:18:24 PM] Peroth E.: Not to mention they use all sorts of wild shit as flavor additives.
[3:18:37 PM] Peroth E.: Like the liquid from a beaver's anal scent glands for perfume.
[3:18:46 PM] Peroth E.: And whale yak.
[3:19:00 PM] Peroth E.: Anyways, I don't think you can survive solely on seaweed and fish.
[3:19:01 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): They also use solididied Whale jizz in perfume, too.
[3:19:07 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): You can, too!
[3:19:15 PM] Peroth E.: That only makes me want to wear MORE perfume...
[3:19:21 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): It'd just be a very tasteless existence...
[3:19:28 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): Wait, what?
[3:19:33 PM] Peroth E.: Nothing gets me going like smelling like the dessicated spooge of the world's largest mammal.
[3:19:48 PM] Tom Beesley: Yum
[3:19:50 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): It's more valuable than gold you know.
[3:19:57 PM] Peroth E.: Of course it is
[3:19:59 PM] Peroth E.: It's whale cum
[3:20:02 PM] Peroth E.: WHY WOULDN'T IT BE
[3:20:04 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): More valuable than platinum or anything else.
[3:20:24 PM] Peroth E.: Oh, and lastly
[3:20:25 PM] Tom Beesley: Imagine how shitty the guy who gets it must think his life is
[3:20:35 PM] Peroth E.: The city could easily be destroyed by a very unhappy mother nature.
[3:20:37 PM] Tom Beesley: "Designated whale wanker"
[3:20:42 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): ...
"According to this viral message, a typical blue whale produces over 400 gallons of sperm when it ejaculates. And you wonder why the ocean is so salty!"
[3:20:44 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): XD
[3:20:58 PM] Peroth E.: 400 gallons of sperm, and only 10% of it goes into the female.
[3:21:06 PM] Peroth E.: Imagine all the whales across history porking in the oceans
[3:21:12 PM] Peroth E.: And imagine how much of the water is actually water.
[3:21:15 PM] The DJ Rainbow Dash: That's why the ocean is so salty
[3:21:21 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt):
[3:20 PM] Peroth E.: <<< The city could easily be destroyed by a very unhappy mother nature.

I wanna see an earthquake break wall Sina after the Titans take Rose.
[3:21:30 PM] Cody G (Blunderbolt): That'd just be the icing on the shit cake.

Okay, now that the most interesting part of this blogpost (including Attack on Titan, survival, economics and whale jizz) is over, I'm announcing a few things regarding writing!

1. I'm doing a TwiDash Collab with Timaeus based off of this song. We've got a lot of the details ironed out, so expect that at some point.

2. I'm doing a TwiDash Attack on Titan adaptation with Vertorm. This will be worked on as soon as I finish my current project.

3. My current project: All the Wrong Moves is nearly done being outlined. I can't wait to write it, get it edited and shipped out! Hopefully, it'll be hitting the site before the month is out!

I still think there's something to be said about the TwiDash Group chat. What it is, though, I'm not sure...

What it is, though, I'm not sure...

We're a bunch of terrifying nutters and totally proud of it?

Welp, I should get off my ass and write CC then if we're doing this.

...Oh jesus.
