BT's MT: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Two Part Season 2 Finale Review · 4:46am Apr 22nd, 2012
Sup, all my bronies and pegasisters?
Tim, don't try going for that "being hip" garbage. You're too white for it.
Since when do you know what "being too white" means?
Internet.
Hmm, seems legit.
Indeed.
Anyway, we're here for a very special and different episode of Blue and Tim's Movie Theater. We're here to review the two part finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 2. Since you guys have probably all already seen it, we shall be discussing the plot in full.
I still think this show would be better if I were in it.
Quit whining. I am writing a version if you and the gang were in it, aren't I?
True, but I still wish I were canon to the show.
As do I. But anyway, in what seemed to be even less than ten seconds flat, season 2 has come to a close.
Why must the good die young?!
But even though it's over, it went out with a hell of a bang. But you probably want to know why I think it's so great, so on with the review.
The story is about how Twilight's brother, Shining Armor, is getting married and Twilight and her friends are invited to help with the wedding. Twilight is upset about it because she is only just now finding out about the whole thing, and she's especially upset with Shining.
Remind me to make sure to tell Haily right away when Dash and I get married.
When?
You're the author. You can do it.
But, do I want to?
You're bucked up.
I can't argue with that. Anyway, once they arrive in Canterlot, Twilight is told by Shining that he didn't send a letter sooner because the safety of Canterlot has been threatened, and it's been his job to make sure nothing bad happens to it.
Why is that the two most powerful beings in our universe are so useless and make others do all the hard work?
No idea. Anyway, Twilight then finds out that Shining is marrying her old foal sitter, Cadance.
Or as the royals say, Princess Mi Amora Cadenza.
And Shining offers her to be his best mare. But while it seems like a good thing at first, something is very wrong with Cadance. Cadance acts mean to Twilight and her friends, and we then see she has a spell casted on Shining. Cadance then takes an opportunity when Twilight and her are alone to banish Twilight to a secret gems cavern below Canterlot.
Every Minecraft player's wet dream.
You even know of Minecraft too?
Internet.
Right... While in the cave, Twilight finds the real Cadance who then helps her escape. After escaping, they reveal the one thought to be Cadance to be nothing more than a changeling that was feeding off of Shining's love, making him too weak to keep up the shield spell blocking the changeling army. The army breaks through and Celestia is defeated, with Luna nowhere to be found.
Like I said, completely useless leaders.
Who you were shipped with in other fics.
We still need to talk about that.
Moving right along. Twilight and her friends then have to go find the Elements of Harmony and stop the changelings before it's too late. They even get into a huge fight against a bunch of changelings who turn into them.
Man, was that an awesome fight.
Shh. That's spoilers, bro.
Right, sorry.
They are outnumbered by the changelings and are caught, being sent right back to the queen. But being the cliche the show can be, Cadance uses her power of love to give Shining enough energy to repel the changelings out of Canterlot. The ponies then celebrate by continuing the wedding.
Hooray for the power of love!
Indeed, my blue friend. Indeed.
Now, while I'm not in this, it still has probably the best storyline out of any MLP episode or two parter yet. It's got good comedy, catchy songs, a really memorable antagonist and species of creature, and even some good action.
Really. I mean, this reminds me of some of the classic Disney movies. It was just awesome. It could also be quite dark at times. Having a scene where it looks like Twilight is burned to a pile of ashes and having villains with looks as creepy as the changelings.
Yeah, and their power is pretty intimidating. The queen, through a bit of Shining's power, beats Celestia in mere seconds. And, like I said before, the changeling battle was awesome.
And even though the ending was pretty cliche, it was still very enjoyable. I'd definitely put this as my favorite two parter in the series.
Mane Six Approves!
entertaining
every minecraft players wet dream.

Don't you mean the changeling queen sent Twilight to hell, drag her to hell. FUNNY SHIT MAN, FUNNY SHIT.
