    Bye Fimfiction!

Yep, it's basically what it says on the tin. I'm not gonna be on this website anymore. I just don't find anything here very enjoyable anymore and would much rather spend my time some place that I feel more of a connection in. And due to overall stress and anxiety, I don't feel like staying here is helping me. I realize there are still people here I have connections with, and I'll still check in

Something a bit different. Three Stooges 2012 Movie Review · 10:18pm Apr 17th, 2012

Hey guys. Tim here.

And Blue Breeze.

Quite. Now, I've decided to do something a bit different. Today I went and saw the new Three Stooges movie.

Three Stooges? Sounds like Zephyr, Drax, and Ice.

Hehe, good one. But anyway, a thought came to my mind about reviewing the movie and maybe making this into its own series. Whether I watch a movie in theaters, at home, or in my film class at school, Blue and I would review the movie.

Well, sometimes I'll review. Others I may just sit here and supply some commentary of my own. Equestria and Earth only have so much in common.

Right. Now, neither of us are movie critics. We don't know what really makes a movie good or bad, we only go by our opinions. We won't knitpick the entire thing like some critic would.

Yeah, I hate those guys.

Don't we all? Now, with that said, on with the review.

Now, I have had a bit of a past with stooges. Not much, but I have watched a few of their old shorts before. They're some of the most well known slapstick comedians of all time. But can something like them work in modern times?

I doubt it.

That's what I said when I first saw the trailers, but I think they used the concept pretty well. Considering they're taking characters from old black and white films and putting them in modern times, it could've been much worse.

Really now?

Yes actually. The basic plot of the movie is that the orphanage the stooges grew up at is closing down. They can't bare to see that happen, so they go out to the city to get the money to save the orphanage. The movie has an interesting concept where they introduce each act as if it were an episode of the show, and it actually worked as a good segway between the different parts.

Sounds strange to me.

Anyway, the actors they got to play the different stooges were really good. We got Moe as the leader, Larry as the bumbling second in command, and Curly as the lovable dumb, or at least dumber, guy who is the usually the quickest to get a smack.

Isn't violence fun?

The way they used it it sure is. The audience wouldn't stop cracking up. They even gave a full applause at the end. Speaking of the end, I think it was pretty smart of them to put a message at the end telling kids that it was all fake and not to do that stuff.

Huh, so they really were thinking when making this.

Of course there were a lot of dumb bits, but it's Three Stooges in modern times, it's to be expected.

That's a lame excuse.

Yeah, but I can look past it to see Moe beat the shit out of the Jersey Shore gang.

Jersey what?

Never mind. I was also pretty surprised at what they got away with in a PG rated movie. There's a shot of a lion getting hit in the balls by a peanut.

Ouch.

And there's a lot of cleavage and even a close up on this woman's big tits.

What are tits?

Never mind. In conclusion, if you just want to see a silly little comedy and go to this with some friends and the right attitude, I think you'll enjoy this.

Or if you want a comedy, you can keep reading about my awesome adventures in Equestria.

Blue, don't be an attention whore.

Don't you mean an attention horse?

*facepalm*

What did I say?

Nothing. See you guys later.
