So, this first part is gonna be pretty positive, but the second is going to be negative (Obviously) and may get a little "Ranty" Please note that if you disagree with these in any way, please do not tell me without giving some logical reasoning. Also, please do not hold my personal preferences against me. Without further ado, my Top five favorite things:
5. Pony Music:
Let's face it, there's nothing better than listening to Beyond Her Garden or Fluttershy's Lament while you draw you baby ponies or write.
4. WeLoveFine Products:
At least one company understands us. Almost all of us have at least one piece of swag from WeLoveFine. In fact, I am writting this while wearing my Derpy Hoodie (Which is so amazingly awesome you won't believe it!)
3. Alternate Ponies:
These could be genderswapped, humanized or age regressed, but they all work out very well. I like to see what people can come up with for ideas of changing the ponies we know and love. The only reason it's not my favorite thing is that people sometimes "Corrupt" these things, especially the humanizations.
2. Pony Analysis Videos:
Awwww those geniuses that are Digibrony, Bronycurious and the Theory Brony. They have allowed me to appreciate this show on a whole new level. I've even taken to headcannon Digi's theory about the ages of the mane 6. I've tried to make my own videos, but that's probably not going to happen.
1. Those times when the writers pull through:
What do Derpy in Equestria Girls, Celestia's ballad and Sleepless in Ponyville all have in common. They all made most of us fall out of our chairs in an epic "Awwwwwwwwww Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh moment." For those of you who don't understand:
"Discord's getting a song in season 4"
If you didn't already know, that feels good doesn't it :-)
Now for my top five least favorite things:
5. Rule 34
Well, this is just stating the obvious, but you have no idea what I had to go through when trying to find images to draw baby Button Mash
4. Fanfiction turned movie:
While I have nothing against these adaptions, since most of them turn out out be really good. I have seen at least five different trailers for a My Little Dashie movie, none of which have come through.
3. Grimdark and Creepypasta:
I learned about cupcakes the first day I became a brony and my (former) friend showed me Smile HD. these things are just terrible. The problem is, I have no problem with Pinkie Pie making cupcakes in the show, but the fanbase doesn't.
2. Friendship is Witchcraft:
I know that out of fairness I probably should say abridged series, but the Mentally Advanced Series is epic so I can't say I hate it. Anyways, I don't find FiW funny in the least bit. The show has no redeeming qualities for me. I just don't find enjoyment in seeing terrible ponies doing terrible things, ruining Snowdrop and abusing Spike. I think the biggest problem is that Sherclop Pones created such a great and in depth world, and then took a bunch of lame and cheap jokes to just ruin it and drown out any form of quality. And before you say Sweetie Bot is a redeeming quality, if FiW Rarity learned that Sweetie Belle was a robot, she would have her destroyed without a second thought. Also, everybody thinks that Sherclop "predicted" that Twilight Sparkle would become a princess, this was obvious from the start. Twilight was Celestia's Apprentice so that was pretty much straightforward.
1. Fluffy Ponies:
Okay not the Mixermike Flufflepuff kind. That cottonball is awesome. I'm talking about the other kind/fanbase.
Quick backstory:
Some point in the near future, Hasbro created a biological engineering branch called Hasbio. Hasbio created the Fluffy Pony (and in some headcannons, the Fluffalo and Fluffy Griffon). Fluffy ponies were squaddy, fluff covered ponies, they were about the size of cats (Foals were the size of hamsters) and were incredibly stupid. They spoke in a toddler like dialogue of things such as:
"Fwuffy wan huggies."
"Mommeh wuv babbehs"
"Fwuffy wuv ou, Daddeh (owner)"
One would think that this would lead to a bunch of cute pics and greentext stories. It didn't...
People started writing stories about fluffies dying in funny ways due to their stupidity. This lead to the popular line "Fluffy Pony Drowns" which could be caused by falling into water or even looking at large bodies of water or spelling H2O with blocks. But then it started to get worse, people started posting pictures of fluffies in depressing real-life situations, such as killing runts after a litter is born, or being attacked by animals, or fluffies starving in the streets and begging a restaurant to give them some food.
Then it turned to people abusing fluffies intentionally. People would either do it "because screw fluffies, that's why," but some people came under ignorant delusion that fictional characters are an invasive species "wretched fluffy vermin."
Things like this include a picture of a person pulling a fluffy away from his mother at a petshop by it's tail. The mother is begging to let her keep the baby and the baby is crying

You can see other things from a delusional crackpot like this guy. (Some of these are NSFW (Not Safe For Woona) and not for younger audiences). Please give this guy some hate for me.

Other people comment things such as when a person kills a fluffy by slamming it on a table "That poor table, it doesn't deserve to be touched by a fluffy pony."
Also, there's some happy stuff too, called hugbox, but that is less common. You can see some from deviant art user marcusmaximus. He is awesome.
Anyways, that's my list. I hope you agree with these things.
I don't mind abridged series if they at least follow the story of the original while either just making fun of the ridiculous situations (like Yugioh Abridged) or completely flanderizing a character (DBZ abridged) or if I don't really care for the original (Hellsing Abridged, None Piece, Code MENT). But when someone just completely twists the original source until it's barely recognizable, that's when I put my foot down.
