follow users, corruption has reached our fair site, and it has a name:
Poultron
this, Tyrant of a moderater took away the brown box, the totally funtional way for all users to see new stories without having to figure out that glorifived front page. it is also how under-popular or misunderstood writers like me actselly get briefly noticed. but now, this Tyrant was allowed to do this insult to our faces, and Knighty might be too pathic to even stand up to him, and i have doubts the other moderaters would actselly do anything. it's up to us, my friends, to make this idiotic jerk that is Poultron suffer endless backlash till he brings back the brown box!
Join the anti-Poultron resisences, and togather, we'll save our brown box, and destroy that shameful Tyrant for this outrage!
oh, by the way, i'm dead serious about this. So, let the army grow!

What is the brown Box
61945 there used to be this long, brown box that informs you of new stories. Poultron, that tyrant, removed it. and demands we look at that glorifived and confusing front page for new stories. that's Tyranty! join the revolution and we'll stand up to this act of unforgiveableness.

The new Que system really fucked up some chances for new writers to get an audience. and now they removed the brown box, which is what I used to see new fanfics, and now its gone.
I'm only grateful that I was a writer long before these terrible changes were made.

The brown box allows new writers a chance to get their stories viewed and to be honest I hate all the horrible changes the site has endured over the past weeks. I support this fully. Stories aren't getting the views they should be getting.

Eh i cant find any new story's and ive been here it would be a better option if we could just switch it on and off you have my full support im used to helping new authors but now that the box is gone its very difficult to see when a new story is posted

I wouldn't chose strong words like tyrant, if you are familiar with any type of protest using any strong path is wrong.
It's best to be calm, and present your side of the story.
You plainly see peaceful protests be turned into 'Violent' to the viewers on a television screen because of cops trying to maintain 'order'.

Stop spamming this everywhere. If you've got a problem with popularity, then focus your energies on your writing and let your stories speak for themselves. Popularity will follow if people feel they're worth reading.

I don't understand the point you're trying to make with that sentence. That doesn't bode well for your crusade here.
Honestly, you're calling Poultron a tyrant for getting rid of the box, but he ASKED people if they used it, and the site responded, almost uniformly, "No, never, get rid of it." What that means is that precious few people actually used the brown box, thus featured stories there actually got very little effective exposure and thus their audience grew no greater. You're not losing anything real.
Also you know know we had a vote on this and... most people wanted gone.
And now it's gone.

77386 too bad your a few days too long, i been talked out it by the fact someone mentioned that a larger percentaged didn't even like the box. i confess the site looks beautiful without it since brown is the traditional poster color of crap, but the box did had benifets. but, what's done is done.
