A heartbeat
What of spinning blood
Churning through and onwards
Racing with indifferent emotion.
A heartbeat
With fire may it grow colder
To burn in due passion
Is that of less violent actuality.
A heartbeat
Lay to rest would it
Only to bring restlessness
O'er one of great similarity.
A heartbeat
Pulsing like an ocean's wake
Enraged in righteous and utter turmoil
Yet so gentle in nature.

(P.S.: This one I wrote a few minutes ago is actually based off of A Delicate Balance by JapaneseTeeth. It's an amazing story, so go check it out! Also, the above image is a real photograph!)
That... That was beautiful...

As the guy who wrote the story this is based on, I approve.
You're a better poet than I am.
No words can describe the shear awesomeness of the picture and poem.
wow, I wouldn't have pegged you as one for poetry, LUC--though that's probably because I don't know you very well, haha. That and I haven't seen any from you before....I think.
How often do you write it?

HEY!
I'M SUPPOSED TO APPROVE!!!
Anyways . . .
I approve of this. Seems like a lot of thought was put into it.
