Letter 3: Here.
To my most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle,
Sometimes, we can underestimate our friends because of our preconceptions or assumptions we make on first impressions, and ponies often have real difficulties opening themselves to views to which they are unfamiliar. I am proud of you for learning such important and meaningful lessons.
Your loving mentor,
Princess CelestiaPS. Why yes, I rather do enjoy baking from time to time. The pinch of salt really brings out the flavor in most dishes, I find. And in response to your last question, why yes, I do rather enjoy purple, but only in measured amounts.

Does Purple Pony actually read these replies?

I'm less worried about the replies and more curious if purplest purple pony ever reads what Anon is actually writing...

If she does It's probably through her own personal reality filter that only ever shows Cakelestia showering her with praise for accomplishing whatever mundane task she has managed to do.
I really like Celestias personal touch to the letters

I would imagine Celestia writes her replies to intentionally leave out the more risque bits if only to milk this new situation for what it's worth before Twilight catches on.
In other words, Trollestia confirmed.

I think it's pretty clear she doesn't. Though, to be fair, we've seen on the show that she never proofreads what Spike writes either.
