Letter 99: Here.
To my most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle,
I would be admittedly very interested to see your work on the subject whenever you consider it ready for review. Anon admittedly curtails his slang and euphemisms to a degree when in my presence, so I doubt I've borne witness to the most interesting or colorful variants.
Come to think of it, does it not strike you as odd that our languages are compatible in the first place?
Your loving mentor,
Princess Celestia
Dear Anon,
Today I noticed Twilight wrote me a letter, either by herself or penned by Spike.
I just wanted to check in on you.
Your friend,
Celestia.

I wonder how they would react to some of the slang we have nowadays.
Read “There was a distinct lack of shitposting in my daily correspondence. U good homie?”

I don't know how they'd react, but one of my bosses is trying the 'Old Guy thing of choosing one piece of slang, and using it all over the place' thing when he talks to try to fit in. His chosen word is "Savage" and he really DOES NOT use it like it's meant to. Annoys the crap out of me....and most of the department but no one is willing to point it out (anymore) because one: he won't listen, or two: they're afraid of losing their jobs. I fall into the first category.
I know it's irrelevant to the story, but needed to rant somewhere. This turned out to be the place. If you don't want it here, author, feel free to delete it.

GOLD, but essentially yes.
I'm also in love with how she words it. "Today I noticed"... :D
I know it's five years late, but figured I should mark the typo anyways:
