This is a side story to the fic And Hell Followed. Spoiler warning: TLDR: Twilight released a spell to turn the unicorns into monsters to kill the other races by accident.
This verse does not have firearms as far as I know, and nothing in the main verse points to any form of weapons outside of natural magic hence the main cast also does not have any in this story.
