Dear Princess Hot Mess,*
Applejack simultaneously sets the best and worst examples.
She sets a good example by sticking to her word. When she says she’ll do a thing, she does it. If only I could learn such a skill.
She sets a bad example by constantly saying she’ll eat her hat if she’s wrong. She has so many hats.
Your star-spangled planner,
Twiconderoga* Cleanest mess I’ve ever seen.
Love, Anon

Applejack probably gets her edible hats from Rarity.

Probably not the only edibles.
"Your star-spangled planner,
Twiconderoga"
That made my night.

And Rarity probably finds it a pain to make since the fabric for Edible hats doesn't come cheap
I can't come up with a good response letter here.
That can't be healthy.
No no no, we aren't done addressing the last letter with the toddler. Don't try to distract us with hat consumption chicanery.
Woah, something that has nothing to do with Twilight written by Anon, been a while since he hasn’t called out Twilight for doing something stupid and/or insane.

Pointing out that it's a good thing ponies no longer claim that they'll 'eat their shoe' instead. Those tend to be made of metal after all.

With an emphasis on the "rough". Her asshole must feel like sandpaper 24/7.
I'll just leave that one here:

Bah, it’s probably made of hay.... or hemp

Low grit
"Granny Smith lived on nothin' but hats fer five years, an' look at her!"

They do if you make them from Rice Paper. Granted then you're wearing a paper hat.
I guess you could in theory use cotton candy to make thread to make candy-cloth with to make candy clothing, but you'd probably need to do it in a large fridge since the heat from the sewing machine (I guess you could use a non-electric loom, but those take up a good bit of space and are heavy to move.
