In the distant past, long before the elements, before the princesses, there was discord and sorrow.

Meet Lord Caelestis Niger or Black Sky, to his ponies he is known as The Great Black. Emperor of the Holy Equine Empire of Matavita, a distant land that was just as full of chaos as Equestria is. Until, he forged a brighter future, it just wasn't bright enough, not yet. After another brutal war, he is seeking a better solution to peace keeping. Meanwhile, a distant traveler is also seeking the same thing.

Will they find it together, share it? Or is there no solution to find?

As peace reigns in Equestria and the Mane Six have gone their separate ways, a mysterious and dark threat looms over the land. The threat endangers not just any pony but the entire land of Equestria. Strange vines have emerged and turned all ponies, earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns into stone, draining their life and magic. The heroes must solve this mystery before it's too late, or else everything will be lost, and Equestria will no longer be a safe place.

It was a normal day in Equestria. Suddenly, without warning and without commotion, a giant white sphere appears in the sky. No one knows where I came from or why it's here. All we know is that it almost completely blocks out the sky. Now there are rumors of creatures acting strangely and there are stories of new creatures only heard of in myth coming to "celebrate" the occasion. Equestria will either have to cope with this giant white sphere dominating the night sky or try to find a way to make it leave. But how can you hope to force something you could never hope to understand.

Twilight just came back from canterlot where she was helping to reorganise Equestria after the Storm King attacked. She was given a strange and old artifact seemingly dangerous, and as she try to purify it, unseen circumstances will uncover hiden and forgotten parts of history, and enemy will rise to take profit of the chaos that unfold

Changing the beginning to make it more readable.

It is the early days of the settling of Equestria, and the Pillars are off giving chase to one of the monsters attacking pony settlements.

The chase, however, leads them into a temple, one which houses an ancient spirit of change and evolution. They soon learn they are not the only Pillars around, either, as a whole new set has joined them.

The spirit offers them a simple challenge: be entertaining and succeed in its challenges.

A simple affair for the Pillars, especially if there's two sets.

It's not like they have any major differences between them, right?
