Little Sunset Shimmer can't swim. And Princess Celestia aims to fix that... no matter how difficult it ends up being.

In line with the continuity of A Tale of Two Suns, Book 1: The Two Suns, but it's not particularly necessary to read that first.

I have lead a good life full of friendship and love, and in my small way I have helped our ruler learn what it was like to be a pony again. This is my story, the story of how a small little fire bird fell in love with the sun.

30 moons, 30 months, two and a half years, nine-hundred ten days. Any way you put it, it's been a long time since Twilight stepped through that portal and embarked on an adventure that changed her life as well as that of many others. But now she remembers that it isn't necessarily the last time she has to see that world, and she longs to do so. Meanwhile, an apology that has been a long time coming has to be made.
