Dimension Rip Technique

Tobi watched with sadistic glee as the two Jinchuuriki in front of him struggled to catch their breath. He knew that it was taking too long to capture two Jinchuuriki, but it seemed that they're finally at their limits. Believing that they're done for, Tobi continued to question them. ''Why did you stop attacking? Uzumaki Naruto, I thought you wanted to remove my mask. Or have you given up on that? Have you finally concluded that fighting me is pointless and accepted your fate?''

The mentioned blonde boy brought his head up and gave the masked man a death glare in response. ''Shut up! I'm still breathing, and until my last breath I'll do everything in my power to stop you! I won't let you accomplish your goal and create a world without life!''

''Didn't you say the same thing about Sasuke?'' Tobi asked, trying to provoke Naruto. ''To me it doesn't seem like he has any interest in returning to Konoha.''

''I told you to shut up...'' Naruto spoke throught gritted teeth, creating two chakra arms and raising his own. ''I've had enough of you and your heartless lies. I'll stop you right now and then I'll bring Sasuke back!!'' The blonde boy yelled out and dashed off towards Tobi with a newly formed Rasengan.

The masked man only watched the approaching boy, not amused even slightly. ''You're a fool, Uzumaki Naruto.''

Coming to an inch in front of Tobi, Naruto shot his arm at the masked man. However, instead of coming into contact with him, Naruto passed right throught him. Naruto, passing throught Tobi, tried to turn around and strike him again, but before he could make an another move, Tobi kicked him in the back with his right foot. Canceling the Rasengan and making the boy fall to the ground.

''Naruto, ya fool! You'll just pass throught him! This dude is like a ghost
with a nice eye edition boost!'' Killer B shouted, showing off his terrible rap skills.

Naruto coughed as he got back to his feet and turned around to glare at Tobi who keeped his unamused expression as he began to speak.

''Trying to attack me head on like that is only a waste of chakra. With my technique, you have a better chance hitting the moon with an attack like that. Considering your intelligence, I'm surprised that you even got past my Six Paths of Pain.'' Tobi stated.

Naruto slowly got up on his feet and turned around to glare at the Uchiha.

Tobi narrowed his eyes, still not amused. ''Don't give me that look. You can glare at me as long as you want, but the truth still remains. You cannot kill me.''

''You were always a liar. How do I know that this isn't one of your lies?'' Naruto replied.

''Tch. Why don't you attack me and confirm that?'' Tobi asked, getting irritated of the blonde's arrogance.

Just as he said that, in a blink of an eye, Naruto was in front of Tobi with an another Rasengan ready for use. But like last time, when Naruto attacked he passed right throught Tobi and in the process tripped over his leg.

''Argh!'' Naruto let out a pained growl as he fell to the ground with his Rasengan cancelled.

Tobi turned his head slighty to glance at the Uzumaki. ''See. You cannot possibly want to outmatch me with that power. You're pathetic just as your beliefs of world peace, Uzumaki Naruto.''

''Naruto, he's right, ya know! We have to retreat!'' B shouted across the battlefield.

''No. We won't retreat. Not until I make sure he is gone for good.'' Naruto struggled as he got up and Tobi was certain that that last Rasengan used up almost all of his chakra, but then he saw his eyes. They were full of determination and arrogance like he was certain that he will win. Naruto smirked and said. ''I understand that you can see my chakra reserve with your fancy eyes, and that means that you already know that I'm low on chakra. Then I'll just have to make this next Jutsu work for sure.'' The blonde boy made a single hand sign and Tobi could see that he was collecting his remaining chakra for this next attack.

The masked man stared at him as he narrowed his eyes. ''Next Jutsu? What are you talking about, boy? What is it that makes you think that your next move will hit me?'' Before Naruto could answer, a voice behind them yelled out.

''Naruto, you can't use that! You'll die for sure, fool ya fool!'' B said, trying to knock some sense into his fellow Jinchuuriki.

'Die? What is he talking about?' Tobi thought to himself.

''I'm sorry, octopops! He's too strong, we can't defeat him like this! This is the only way!'' Naruto replied and made another hand sign, yelling out. ''Jigen Sakeme no Jutsu!''

Tobi's eyes widened in shock as Naruto's stomach ripped open, revealing something like a portal. ''What are you doing, brat?!''

Naruto once again smirked when an invisible force started to pull Tobi towards him. ''Sorry, but we'll lose together!!''

The masked man tried to struggle and avoid the portal, but it was too powerful. ''I-Impossible!! Where did you learn a powerful Space-Time Ninjutsu such as this?!''

Naruto looked at Tobi, his smirk still plastered on his face while he went to explain. ''It's a Jutsu that only a Jinchuuriki can use. It can teleport the target far away from here, however, when a Jinchuuriki casts this Jutsu, he or she dies when the target is teleported. So, you can say this is my last Jutsu I'll be casting.''

''Why you, brat! I should've killed you when you were just a baby!'' Tobi spat out when he got closer to the portal. It took only a moment for him to begin being sucked into it as his hand began to enter it. Tobi glared at the blonde boy while his body was being sucked in, hearing one last word escaping the blonde's mouth before disappearing.

''Goodbye.''

Arrival

Celestia sipped her tea as she watched her subjects going around and doing their daily chores. Everything was normal and peaceful as usual. She couldn't help herself, but to smile, knowing how peaceful Equestria really was. It was like a dream world and everything in it was perfect.

Althought the Changelings didn't really want to become allies, Celestia was still very happy about Equestria's status.

She thought that there is no force in the world that could change that. Oh, but she was wrong. So very very wrong.

Just as she finished her tea, Celestia cleaned up her table and was about leave when a huge power surge passed throught her. The princesses eyes widened while her head snapped back just in time to see it...

There. A star was soaring throught the sky in the middle of her DAY?! How is that even possible?!

And that wasn't all. The thing that frightened her the most was the huge power surge emitting from it. Even from this distance she could feel it which made her wonder how strong would it be if she was close to it.

After a moment the star faded, leaving a both shocked and frightened Celestia as she turned around and galloped from the balcony. 'W-What was that?! So much power! It was ridiculous! It's far more powerful than me and Luna combined! I have to find that star as fast as possible!'

Consciousness finally started to return to Tobi as he groaned in pain and brought a hand to his face – er... mask – to shook himself from his dizzy state. After deciding that he was alright, Tobi started pushing himself up until he was back on his feet.

However, the sight he recieved when he stood up wasn't pleasant to him. 'What is this?'

Everything around him was much more brighter than anything he ever saw and it looked strange. Somehow, it was getting on Tobi's nerves and he had no idea where he was. He wondered what happened until he remembered Naruto Uzumaki and his space-time Ninjutsu.

''Damn that brat.'' The masked man muttered to himself and went into further investigation of the world around him. It was a forest, that was obvious, but which land was this forest in. ''Perhaps I should seek out an inhabitant to clear things up. And after they give me the information I need, I'll end their pathetic life. Yes, that sounds right.''

Tobi gazed around, wondering which path he should take when a thought came to him. ''Well, it looks like I'll have to check out for chakra resorces with my Rinnegan, but first I'll need to find a high point.''

The masked man searched when his eyes landed upon a tree, far more higher than the other ones. ''Yes, that'll do.'' With several jumps, Tobi landed onto the tree's peak.

Using the Rinnegan's field of vision, Tobi glanced throught the land before his Rinnegan stopped at a big city not so far from here, and he could see several cottages outside the city. ''Good. With my speed, it won't take me long until I arrive at that city. However, I will keep myself from using my Jutsu 'till I find out what shinobi resident there and what their abillities are.''

With speed impossible to see with a normal eye, Tobi blurred out of existence.

Shining Armor and princess Cadance were having a nice lunch together when Celestia bursted open the door and galloped to them.

Cadance flinched from the sudden outburst. ''Auntie! What's wrong?!''

''Shining Armor, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have a mission for you that needs to be attended immediately!'' Celestia said, deciding not to waste time.

This caught both of them off guard as Shining stuttered. ''Y-Yes, princess! What is it?!''

''Travel north from the castle and search everywhere for something out of ordinary! There's no time to say anything more! Just go while I inform my sister about this!'' Celestia answered almost instantly.

Shining gave a salute and ''Yes, princess!'' in response.

''Gather the best guards and leave at once!'' The sun princess said before disappearing into the hallway.

As the princess disappeared, Shining jumped from his seat and galloped away, shouting bye to his wife. ''Bye Cadance! We'll have to finish our lunch some other time!''

Cadance nodded. ''Okay. Just be careful, dear!''

''I will!''

Tobi continued dashing throught the tick pastel colored trees as he considered his next moves. 'That brat sent me somewhere far away from the Land of Lightning and to bring more problems, I don't know in which state the Mazou is.'

The masked man feared the worst as his eyes caught a glimpse of something he could have use of. Tobi snapped his head towards it. It was a cave. Perfect. 'I could try and summon the Mazou inside there. The covers that the cave brings will be more than enough to hide the Mazou from any nearby eyes.'

Tobi turned away from his original path and blurred out from existence only to to re-appear in front of the cave in an another blurr.

The Uchiha stepped in the darkness of the cave and strolled to it's end. Making the needed hand signs, Tobi slammed his palm onto the ground. ''Kuchiyose no Jutsu!'' Black marks appeared as a huge puff of smoke followed. When the smoke cleared out, there was a giant statue sitting there. The statue looked like something dragged out of a horror story with it's creepy ten eyes, chained hands, craks, sharp tee- wait, cracks?

''Just as I suspected, the Mazou is damaged, however, after some minor repairs it will be usable.'' Tobi stated, gazing over the cracks on it.

Deciding that it would be best to unsummon the Mazou for now and continue on his way towards the city, Tobi again made couple of handsigns and just as last time it ended with a puff of smoke.

The Uchiha was about to leave when a weak chakra source appeared somewhere east from the cave. ''A chakra source? An inhabitant perhaps?'' Tobi asked himself only to shook his head a second later. ''No. Considering how weak it is, it's probably just an animal.'' He assured himself until a scream for help proved him otherwise.

''AHHHHHHHHH!! Somepony!! Anypony!! Please, help!!''

The masked man's reaction was immediate as he blurred out with his speed. Several thoughts clouding his mind. 'So it is an inhabitant, but it's too weak. And the way it spoke... It was female for sure.'

Tobi appeared on a branch of a tree as he gazed upon the scream's owner. And what he saw was the strangest creature he ever layed his eyes upon.

It was some kind of a completely green - althought it's mane was a darker shade of green than it's coat - horse which could... talk, and it was being assaulted by a big lion with horns, bat wings and a scorpion tail? Tobi stared at the two creatures bellow him with slight shock, but he was shooked from it when the mare screamed out once again.

''Help!!!'' The mare began to sob as the Manticore raised it's tail and shot it at her. In an effort to defend herself, the mare brought her front hooves up and shielded her face, waiting for the impact. However, it never came.

The mare moved her hooves slightly to try and see what was happening throught her tear stained eyes. As soon as she got a glimpse of what was happening, her eyes widened in shock.

There. In front of her. Was a creature standing on it's hind legs with it's right hand stretched out. Her shocked state got even worser when she saw how the creature stopped the Manticore's attack with it's palm.

She could see that the Manticore was shocked as well and it was trying with all it's might to pierce throught the hand of his enemy with his sting. However, the creature it opposed only stared emotionlessly as the Manticore's sting pushed harder into his skin, but was unable to pierce it.

Forest Leaf tried her best not to stumble back when the creature... SPOKE!

''Trying to hunt down your pray , are we? Well, it seems that you're my pray now.'' The creature said as he – Forest Leaf was sure that it was a he by the tone of it's voice and the way it acted – grabbed the Manticore's tail and pushed it away.

Growling at his enemy, the Manticore jumped back and once again shot his tail at the creature in front of it.

However, just as last time, he blocked it with ease. ''Mindless beast. That won't work on me.''

The Manticore gave him a growl in response and jumped at him, trying to pounce on him.

But with speed that both the Manticore and Forest Leaf couldn't see, the creature grabbed it's fan like weapon and slashed the Manticore in half.

The now sliced in half Manticore's limp body fell to the ground and earned a shocked gasp from the mare.

She raised her gaze to see the creature putting his weapon back on his back which also shocked her. How was the weapon able to stand there without any support to keep it from falling.

At this rate, she was certain that her mind will shut itself down from the shock she was recieving.

''Mare.''

The sudden call from the creature startled Forest Leaf as she stuttered while blushing slightly. ''Y-Yes?'' Some of you may wonder why was she blushing, but just now she was saved by a warrior with speed impossible to see and skin which couldn't be pierced even by a Manticore, and the way he acted. Calm and collected. It was like her prince charming came to save her a moment away from death. In her mind, everything about him screamed awesome. Too bad that she didn't know how cold he actually was.

Tobi turned his head around and caught a glimpse of the mare's blush. 'A blush? Oh, so I'm the little girl's knight in shining armor, but what she doesn't know is that my armor isn't shining at all. It's stained by blood of the innocent. Looks like I won't need to use threats nor Genjutsu to make this one tell me what I want.' ''I have some questions for you.''

With her blush only faintly visible, Forest Leaf nodded. ''O-Okay. W-What i-is it?''

''First of all, what is your name?'' Tobi asked while he completely turned around to the mare.

Forest Leaf froze instantly. His eyes... She never seen something even close to that. He was like a demonic warrior. She was scared of him, but at the same time she was attracted to him. Finally being able to collect a little courage, she answered. ''F-Forest L-Leaf, s-sir.''

''Good.'' Tobi said audible like he was some kind of an evil mastermind who was plotting his next move - wait a minute... He is an evil mastermind! Heh, would you look at that. - . ''Now, in which country am I? Is this the Land of Lightning?''

Leaf blinked in confusion. ''L-Land of Lightning? I'm s-sorry sir, but this is Equestria.''

Tobi frowned under his mask. 'I should have known that that brat sent me as far away as he could. Perhaps I'm in a summon realm.' ''Tell me Forest Leaf,'' - the hestitation of saying her name was clear as day - ''do you know a way back to the Elemental Nations?''

The Uchiha fought the urge to snap her neck when she made that innocent confused face again as she spoke. ''No, sorry. I-I don't know what these E-Elemental Nations are.''

Tobi's eyes widened slightly. 'She doesn't know about the Elemental Nations? Where exactly is this Equest-' - then the realization hit him - 'Damn you, Uzumaki Naruto!! No wonder that the creatures here are so weak and pathetic. Shinobi probably aren't even existant in this damned world! I should've known that a Kinjutsu like that one would've make sure to send me away from the Elemental Nations!!'.

''Mister, are you okay?'' Forest Leaf asked with... concern?, immediately ending the rage war in his mind.

''Be quiet, I cannot hear myself think, mare.'' The Uchiha replied coldly, assuming that the mare would be frightened by the tone of his voice and will not bother him again.

However, while it did frighten her, Leaf continued to question him, trying her best to ignore the coldness in his voice. ''I-I'm s-sorry, mister. I-I didn't mean to interrupt you.'' She said, her previous blush threathening to return. He may have been scary, but his authorative and cold attitude did attract her.

Tobi who noticed the slight blush returning, grunted in disgust quietly. 'She's scared of me, that I can tell, but at the same time she likes me? What idiotic creature.' He just wanted to rip out her cheeks and shove them down her throat. 'No. At least not yet. She can still be useful to me, and then I'll kill her.' ''Mare, who is the leader of this land?''

''Uhh, the princesses are.'' Forest replied, confused that he didn't know. ''Don't you know that, already?''

Tobi closed his eyes and sighed. ''No, It appears I'm from an another world. So why don't you tell me something about your 'princesses' .''

The mare's eyes widened in shock. ''Really?! You're an alien?! Maybe that explains why you don't know the princesses!!''

Tobi's finger flinched, it took all of his strenght not to grab his Gunbai and crack her head open. She was disgusting. Actually, when he thinks about it, everything about this world was disgusting to him. But he'll have to bear with it. At least until he finds a way back to the Elemental Nations. ''Yes, I am. Now, tell me about the princesses.''

The force in his voice was obivious and Forest Leaf replied almost instantly. ''O-Okay. Look, mister, how about we go to my cottage and I'll tell you everything you want to know. Okay?''

Tobi stared at her for a moment before giving his response. ''Fine.'' 'And when you tell me what I need to know, I'll make sure to burn your little pathetic home to the ground.'

Shining Armor was galloping as fast as he could. He didn't know why the princess wanted him to go investigate the Everfree Forest, but he knew something was wrong. Especially since she told him to take a platoon of guards, and he did take about twenty guards.

He won't lie. Both him and Cadance felt a strange power surge earlier this day when they were having lunch, but they both decided to ignore it. Believing that it was one of the other two princesses practicing their magic.

However, when Celestia bursted throught the door, he realized that it wasn't something simple as that.

And now he along with twenty more guards was galloping to the source of the huge power surge.

The Truth of Cold Reality

View Online

After a short walk and fighting the need to dismember the mare and throw her into the bushes, Tobi and Forest Leaf arrived at the cottage.

Forest Leaf threw Tobi a small smile as she pushed open the doors. ''Welcome to my modest little cottage, mister! Do you want me to give you a tour of it?''

Once again, Tobi had to keep himself from cutting her head off. ''No. I just want the information.''

''Um, okay. Please, follow me mister.'' Forest replied and motioned him to follow her. She opened the door to the kitchen and gestured Tobi to the table before asking. ''W-Would you like something to drink? Or maybe eat?''

''No. I have no such needs.'' The Uchiha said, becoming irritated by her sympathy. Well, one thing was for sure, and that was that he won't show her the same response when he is done with her. ''Now, Forest Thief –''

''It's Forest Leaf, sir.'' She corrected politely.

''I don't care.'' Tobi replied, but she decided to pass it as his grumpy self. ''Answer me about your 'princesses'.''

Forest Leaf took a seat across the masked man and spoke. ''Well, there are three princesses in total. They are princess Celestia, princess Luna and princess Cadance. All the princesses are caring and unselfish. Th-''

''Unselfish? What makes you think that, mare?'' Tobi interrupted rather rudely.

''Well, they always help others whenever they can and they always encourage us to chase after our dreams and ideals.'' Forest said with a smile on her face, hoping that Tobi would think better of them now.

However, even thought he wore a mask, she could see that the masked man was still not interested as he gave his response. ''What is so unselfish about that? They're only doing it to make themselves feel better and important. In other words, your so called 'princesses' are pulling you with a pathetic lie and you blind fools are following it without a second thought.''

At that moment Forest Leaf would lie if she said that she wasn't shocked by his answer. He speaks so bad about the princesses, even thought he hasn't met them. Why would he even speak that badly about anypony? ''I-I....W-Wha... Wh-hy would you even speak like that about anypony?''

''Does it matter how I speak about others? You should learn that not everything is made out of rainbows and other similar foolishness. In this accursed world, the only ones you could actually trust is yourself. The longer you live you realize that reality is just made of pain, suffering and emptiness. In this world wherever there is light there are also shadows. It just can't be avoided. I don't care about anyone else than myself. The only thing that matters to me is completing my goal.'' The
uchiha explained.

Forest Leaf was now disturbed. So much evil in his words. What could it be that made him so cold? She had to fought to urge to cry from his words. It was just too much for her. ''N-No-o... Y-yo-ou're wrong... Y-you ha-ave to be. E-Equestria i-is a peaceful land!''

Tobi grunted in disgust. 'How foolish.' ''Peaceful? Don't make me laugh. There is no such thing as peace. Peace is only an illusion to compliment your pathetic existence. There is no place in reality for fools such as yourself.''

That was it. Her breaking point. Tears started to stream down her cheeks as she struggled to reply. ''B-B-Bu-ut... I-I...''

''Be quiet, mare. You still haven't answered me about the princesses. I still have one last question.'' Tobi commanded, satisfied by her reaction to his words. ''Where are these princesses located?''

Forest Leaf brought a hoof to her face and wipped away some tears. ''T-Th-hey l-live in Canterlot. I-In the c-castle. W-why d-do youd w-wan-''

She was cut midsentence as Tobi reached for his gunbai and brought it down on her before she could even comprehend what was happening.

Placing his Gunbai back on his back, The Uchiha gazed upon her with a blank expression as her body splitted into two and blood splashed everywhere in a second.

''Tch.'' Turning away from the now lifeless body of Forest Leaf, Tobi exited the blood stained kitchen and went straight for the doors leading to outside.

Reaching for the door knob, two words escaped his lips. ''Idiotic horse.''

Celestia watched as her younger sister paced across the room, being both nervous and angered. ''Luna, you should calm yourself. Being nervous won't do us any good against this new being that entered Equestria.''

''And what will being calm do?!'' Luna shot back as she stopped. ''What if this being decides to attack us instead of becoming allies?! I felt it's power level, I'm not stupid! Who knows how much power it has since we felt it from this far away!''

''I already know that.'' Celestia said, eyeing her frustrated sibling. ''That's why I sent Shining Armor and his best team to investigate this.''

''Shining Armor is strong, I know, but what if he fails?! There's no telling what this creature could do! It may be even more powerful than me and you, sister!'' The night princess shouted. Yep. She was paranoid.

Celestia sighed. ''Luna, please just calm down. I'm sure that captain Shining Armor will do just fine. We only have to be patient.''

''Ugh! Fine! But don't tell me later that I didn't warn you!''

Shining Armor gasped for air as he brought a water bottle to his mouth. An hour full of galloping already passed, but they still didn't find anything. He sent two pegasi guards of the group to go and try to find something from the air about half a hour ago, however, they still haven't returned.

They just stopped under a patch of trees minutes ago, so he along with his men could get some rest. If this creature was really something powerful, they'll need every bit of their energy to fight it.

He heard a branch snap as he shifted his gaze to see a guard coming his way. ''What is it?'' Shining asked when the guard approached.

''Sir, may I ask for what exactly are we looking for?'' The guard asked curiously. Althought he was invited to acompany the
captain along with eighteen more guards, they didn't get any specific information for what were they searching for.

Shining sighed. He knew that somepony was going to ask this sooner or later, but he actually didn't get much more information than they did. Still, he had to give the guard his answer. Even if it didn't held any more information. ''Well, the princess told me to look for something strange and powerful, but that's all she said. I'm sorry, I don't have any more information.''

The guard blinked in response. ''That's it? This is the Everfree forest! Everything in here is out of ordinary!! How are we supposed to find this thing if we have so little knowledge about it?!''

''Calm down, soldier! I'm sure that the princess had a reason not to tell us anything else.'' Shining said, annoyed by the guard's reaction and hoping that he will calm down.

But that hope was crushed when the guard continued to yell. ''What reason could it possibly be that she didn't give us intel about our mission?! Who knows how long it will take us to find this thing!''

Shining Armor was about to reply, but an another elderly guard beat him to it. ''The captain is right, Headstrong. You should calm yourself down. I'm sure we'll find this thing eventually. Especially since it's so special that we had to leave immediately for this mission.''

The guard, Headstrong, flipped around and glared at his elder. ''Eventually?! That's the problem! I don't have time for running around Everfree Forest and searching for something that we'll find 'eventually' !''

''Well, you'll have to! It's your duty! And you should show some respect to both your elders and superiors.'' The elder guard shot back.

''Stop! That's enough!'' Deciding that it was enough, Shining joined in their conversation. ''I have intel on one more thing.''
With his temper boiling, Headstrong once again brought his attention to his captain. ''Why didn't you tell us already?!''

''Because I didn't want to tell you this if I didn't have to.''

''Well now you have to!''

Shining sighed. ''I'm not sure, but this creature... It's supposedly powerful as princess Celestia, -'' He began, earning many shocked expressions from the guards. ''- so if it chooses to attack us we won't do very well.''

''Sir, we all do respect, but how the hay are we supposed to fight this thing then?!'' The guard that previously defended his captain yelled in panic.

''I'm not sure, but that's why this team is made out of eighteen unicorns and two pegasi. I already sent Feather Fire and Lightning Wind to scout out before us. We'll just have to wait until they return with the results.''

Tobi stopped near a small pond, remembering what he did to the mare. 'Since I killed her with my gunbai, it would be best to wash it before I continue my trip. I don't need any kind of police trying to attack me, however, I doubt there is any. Considering that this land is full of idiotic innocent... horses.'

Walking to the pond, the Uchiha grabbed the gunbai from his back and lowered it into the water as he took a small rock to scrub off the blood stains. 'This is embarassing. Me in the same world as this low-life creatures. It's pure luck that none of my subordinates are here to witness this.'

After scrubing his gunbai completely from blood, Tobi brought it back where it usually was kept – on his back – and he was about to resume his travel to the Canterlot, but something entered his Rinnegan's field of vision. 'Excellent.'

Feather Fire and Lightning Wind flew a long way with still no results, and that fact annoyed them greatly.
Lightning shifted his gaze to his friend and groaned. ''Ahhh! There's nothing here! We should return to the captain and report as nothing unusual.''

His friend, however, shook his head. ''No. Not yet. We have to find at least something.''

Once again, Lightning let out an annoyed groan, hanging his head in irritation. While doing this he spotted something bellow and decided to tell his friend. ''Hey, look. There's a cottage down there. Let's go check it out. Maybe somepony who is living there knows something.''

Feather Fire nodded. ''Yes, let's go. Any information is useable.''

With that said, both pegasi flew down to the ground and landed next to the front door.

Fire trotted to the door and knocked on it a few times. After waiting for a moment without getting an answer, he brought his hoof up and knocked one more time.

Just as last time, he got no answer. Sighing, Feather Fire turned back to his partner and told him. ''Let's go. There's no one home.''

Not getting an answer from his companion, Fire asked. ''Something wrong?''

In response, Lightning Wind pointed his hoof at a window on the cottage and spoke. ''Hey, what's that red dot on the window?''

Feather Fire glanced at the window and said. ''Let me see.''

Not waiting a second longer, Fire hovered up to the window and took a look at the inside.

He completely froze in shock and disgust...

Turning his head back to Ligthning, Feather Fire flew off and yelled in both panic and shock. ''We have to go! Now!''

Leaving a confused Lightning Wind behind who decided to look what's inside as well.

However, what he saw disgusted him to the point where he almost vomited. There was blood splashed on the floor and the wall, and the blood's source was a... cut in half mare.

Shining Armor stood up from his seating position. He was glad that the guards have calmed down. Telling them his strategy seemed to work and now they're not as nervous as they were a moment ago. ''C'mon, everypony. Break's over. We still have a mission to complete and a thing to find. Le-''

''Captain.''

Shining glanced at the guard who called him, a little irritated that he was interrupted. ''Yes?''

''I think that thing has found us.''

His head snapped back at the sound of rustling leaves as a clothed creature walked out in front of them. Althought he was at the same time shocked and alarmed by the creature, Shining spoke showing off his incredible courage. ''You there. We
have some questions for you.''

''What if I refuse to answer those questions?'' The creature asked, startling all of the guards.

''Who are you?'' Shining asked, his courage still present.

''Does it matter who I am? You're about to die anyway.'' The creature replied.

Shining frowned and glared at him. ''Your threats won't scare us.''

The creature's eyes snapped open as a response. ''Is that so? Perhaps I should show you how cold reality really could be.''

A Message of Death

Shining Armor stared at Tobi's eyes with fear, three words escaping his lips. ''What... are... you?

Tobi narrowed his eyes, seeing how the horse in front of him lost his courage immediately after looking into his Sharingan and Rinnegan. ''Be quiet. It's none of your concern as to who and what I am, but you can still be of use to me. Tell me, what is this little group of yours? Are you a police force?''

Before Shining could even begin to speak, Tobi interrupted, answering his own question. ''No, it doesn't matter what you are. However, you will give me information on your little 'princesses'.''

Headstrong growled at the masked man. ''We will do no such thing, you monster! You will be brought back to Canterlot and there princess Celestia is going to decide your fate!''

Irritated by the arrogant stallion, Tobi took his gunbai and crashed it's top onto the ground while his eyes glowed viciously. ''Don't open your mouth so easily, trash. I am not exactly what you would call 'sympathetic'.''

Once again, the only response he got was a growl from the arrogant stallion. ''Who are you calling trash?! You'll pay for that! Everypony let's hit him with a fire spell!''

With five more guards joining him, Headstrong conjured a fire blast at the tip of his horn.

While he did so, Tobi brought his gunbai in the air with an uninterested expression.

Shining's eyes widened after seeing that he didn't even flinch as he flipped around to yell. ''Stop! Don't shoot him with that!''

However it was too late as the six guards shot their fire blasts at the Uchiha.

As the intense flames approached, Tobi spoke out. ''I told you not to open your mouth so easily.'' With that he swung his gunbai as a powerful gust of wind hit the flames, making it to redirect it's route to the six guards and increase in size.

All six guards gasped in shock, however, they didn't have time for a teleportation spell as the flames closed in and with a scream from the guards, it burnt their skin off.

Shining escaped the flames just in time, but he still felt it's heat and it wes even worser that their numbers decreased just like that. His head snapped back to the masked man who just stared emotionlessly. The way Shining saw it was that the Uchiha just killed six of his companions with ease. Almost no effort was needed. Just one swing of his weapon.
Now, they were down to fourteen men including himself. And it didn't help them that the two pegasi of the group still haven't returned. Meaning that along with himself there were eleven guards at the battlefiel in this moment. Things weren't going in his favors.

''Do you still have the courage to keep on fighting against me, fools?'' Tobi's voice called out from across the battlefield, making Shining attention to turn back to the masked man.

''Shut up! You'll regret your actions, monster!'' A guard yelled out, tears collecting in his eyes.

''Tears? Don't tell me you didn't expect to lose a man on the battlefield. Pathetic.'' Tobi's Sharingan slightly closed as he spoke. ''After all this reality is worthless... There's nothing more but misery left in it. You're only saddened because of the fact that your chances of survival are lowered.''

Silence... That's all that the guards could respond with. The way he spoke... The way he acted... They knew that this man wasn't evil just for evil's sake. It was obvious that there was much more to his goals than just being evil and conquering the world, but still they knew that this monster must be stopped. Now.

Shining Armor rejoiced a little as he saw two familiar figures approach from the air while yelling.

''Everypony get away from that monster! He's pure evil!'' Feather Fire shouted, catching their full attentions.

However, the poor pony didn't expect this next move.

''Two more maggots change nothing.'' Tobi brought two fingers to his Sharingan and in a quick turn of his body, he threw a shuriken – that he seemingly conjured out of nowhere – at the pegasus.

All of them took an expression of shock when the shuriken stroke right into Feather Fire's throat, making the pony to choke and fall to the ground with a loud thump.

''Feather Fire!'' Ligthning Wind ,who followed right behind, screamed out, but did not recieve any response. Feather Fire was dead.

Seeing another Pegasus, the Uchiha threw a kunai with a tag attached to it.

Panicking, Lightning brought his hooves up to cover his face and throat, and waited for the impact of the sharp blade entering his flesh. But it didn't came, removing his hooves, he saw a blue shield in front of him with the kunai stuck into it.
Knowing exactly who to thank for saving his life, Lightning pulled out the kunai from the shield and called out. ''Thanks, captain!''

Shining gave a weak smile in return.

'Idiots.' Tobi thought to himself and made a single hand sign. ''Release!''

*BOOM!*

Before any of the guards could figure out what was happening, the kunai in Lightning's hoof exploded, blowing the poor guard into pieces and shocking the rest.

A single guard shot a glare towards Tobi. ''What was that?! What did that monster do?!''

''Excuse me for my roughness,'' Tobi said sarcastically. ''but his own foolishness was the cause of his death.''

''Shut up!'' A guard roared and he along with four more guards went into a gallop towards the masked man, their spears at ready.

''Hmph. Trying to attack me from up close? It'll only fail as your last attack.'' The Uchiha said and swung his gunbai towards the ground, creating a dust cloud.

The guards, however, were cut off guard and they entered the dust cloud before they could realize it. All of the guards' eyes shut themselves as they started coughing from the dust.

But one individual was uneffected by the dust because of his mask while he made his way to the first guard.

*THUMP*

''What *cough* was *cough* that?!'' All of the guards started panicking and tried to conjure up enough magic for a teleportation spell, but before any of them could make their escapes, several loud thumps followed the last one.
Shining Armor stared with wide eyes as the cloud cleared up, only to reveal Tobi standing among the limp bodies of his comrades.

''Give up.'' The Uchiha spoke, startling the captain as he switched his gaze to him. ''You are nothing before my eyes. The only reasonable thing left to do for you is to accept your fate.''

''No. We will not fall before the likes of you!'' A guard yelled in anger, making Shining turn around and gave him a look that said 'you shouldn't have said that!'.

''We will see about that...'' Tobi muttered darkly and once again with speed that cannot be seen by normal eyes, he dashed from guard to guard, cleaving them into two with his gunbai while the guards screamed in terror.

Finally stopping at the last guard, Tobi brought the gunbai above his head and seeing the guard's expression of shock and fright, the Uchiha swung it down at the guard.

Shining Armor backed away as he saw the last one of his guards get killed so cruelly. Wait.. His mind started working as fast as it could when he noticed one of the guards were missing. Meaning there was still one alive!

His thoughts proved to be true when a battle roar came somewhere besides Tobi. Shining's head snapped to the guard ,who conjured up a spell that made his horn turn into a sword, his horn blade an inch away from the Uchiha.

His hopes immediately raised up as he saw the tip of the blade about to come into contact with the masked man.

However, Tobi grabbed the blade with his... BARE HAND, startling and shocking both of the ponies.

Before the unicorn guard could respond, Tobi slashed at him with his gunbai, creating a fatal wound on his chest as blood splashed into the air.

Without a second thought, Shining turned around and started galloping away as fast as he could. 'I was a fool! I shouldn't have ever tried to fought him! Now all of my comrades are dead because of me! I have to warn the princesses! It's the least I could do!'

Glancing behind him, Shining's fear grew worse when he saw that the masked man was no longer there.

While doing so, Shining rammed into something as he fell to the ground.

He didn't even have time to open his eyes when something grabbed his throat and raised him up.

Opening his eyes, his heart froze when he came face to face with Tobi. The only thing Shining could do was stare into those soul piercing eyes of his. 'H-How i-is h-he –'

''- So fast.'' Tobi finished.

Shining's eyes went even widder – if that was even possible. ''H-H-How?!''

''Don't understimate the visual prowess of an Uchiha, boy.'' Tobi replied, his eyes focused on the captain's own. ''These eyes can predict movements and read others' thoughts. You were doomed the moment you saw me.''

Shining's whole body shaked in fear as the Uchiha continued.

''Ah, and one more thing... While fighting an Uchiha, there is one rule you should never break...''
Shining gulped.

''Never look at their eyes!!'' The masked man bellowed as blackness took Shining away.

Blackness. It was all Shining Armor could see until... he started hearing voices around him.

Snapping his eyes open, to both his shock and pleasure he was back in Canterlot, but he was laying on the road and he could see that many shocked eyes were on him.

His mind completely raced. How did he end up back in Canterlot? Where is that monster? Did he pass out in the middle of Canterlot and had a just bad dream?

His thoughts were cut off when a mare approached him. ''Sir, are you alright?''

Shining took a deep breath and exhaled. ''Yes, I'm fine. I just had a bad dream. I'm sorry for passing out in the middle of the city, and I'm sorry if I startled you, miss.''

The mare only responded with a smile which Shining gladly returned. But...

''Your expression is incorrect.'' A familiar voiced echoed throught the sky.

Almost instantly, Shining got to his hooves as his head snapped into many different directions, trying the find the voice's source. ''W-Who s-said that?!''

The only response he recieved was the unnatural thing that happened next...

The sky swirled into a different color – now blood red – and the sun's flames extinguished as it morphed into the moon.

Returning his gaze back to the ground, he saw that the people around him – including himself – and the buildings were now completely black and white.

A rain of kunai's showered down into Canterlot, massacring the mass of ponies inside it. All except Shining Armor. He was forced to watch the horrible scene in front of him. ''N-No! Stop! Why are you showing me this?!''

''Do you see it now? This reality is nothing but misery. Love and peace are only an illusion to try and cover up the truth.'' The voice said and just as it finished, the cause of it all stepped in front of Shining. ''Speaking of love... Shouldn't you check on your dear little wife, captain?''

Shining's eyes widened in realization as he stormed past Tobi and ran towards the castle. 'Cadance! Please, hold on!'
He quickly conjured up a teleportation spell and teleported himself to the Throne Room. Shining was relieved when he saw Cadance sitting there, reading a scroll.

''Cadance!'' He shouted out and the mare immediately took notice of him.

''Shining!'' She shouted back and they both dashed forwards each others.

However, a moment before they embraced, Shining's hooves morphed into two blades. Just as he tried to embrace his wife, his hands that were now turned into blades, cutted throught her body.

Cadance's severed body parts fell to the ground, leaving a shocked captain behind.

With shock still plastered on his face, Shining picked the upper half of her body and started to sob. ''N-N-No-o... T-T-This i-isn't true... I-It c-cant b-be... I-I... I w-won't a-accept i-it.''

''A typical response coming from a fool.'' A voice behind him said as Tobi stepped into the room. ''Always trying to believe that their misery is nothing but a lie. Wake up, boy. This reality is full of hatred. You couldn't save her because you were weak. You though you were a hero, but you weren't. Heroes don't exist in this world. Either you die too young or live long enough to see yourself become the villain... I am one fine example of that.''

Shining, still holding Cadance, turned around to look at Tobi with tear stained eyes. ''W-Why?''

The Uchiha's eyes narrowed. ''Her death will be a step further to achieving my goal of entering a dream... I don't have time to be stopped by fools such as yourself along the way, but I still have one more use for you, captain.''

Before he could reply, three kunai shot Shining and he immediately blacked out.

Once again waking up, Shining found that he was still being held by Tobi. Looking down he noticed that the cruel Uchiha was now holding him above a river.

''Listen, I have a message for you 'ponies'.'' Tobi commanded and Shining's pathetic form turned it's attention back to the masked man in front of him. ''Tell your 'princesses' that I will be arriving at Canterlot for a few days from now. Until then you have enough time to gather up every bit of power you got. I want you to be at one hundred percent of power when I arrive.''

Tobi smirked darkly under his mask. ''That is if you survive...''

Letting go of the captain's throat, Shining fell down into the river with a splash while Tobi watched as the river carried Shining away.
