What Happened Last Night?

It seemed like any other ordinary day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and a cool autumn breeze blew through the town of Ponyville. Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack were walking up the trail towards Sugarcube corner.
"Oh boy this is going to be so much fun!" Pinkie Pie bounced up the road next to her friends, "This is going to be the biggest party EVER! Let's hurry girls!" Pinkie was so excited that she couldn't stop bouncing circles around Applejack.

"Whoa there, sugarcube." Applejack's eyes followed Pinkie around her, "I'm sure the party wont start until y'all walk in." She laughed.

"Yeah Pinkie!" Ranbow Dash agreed as she flew above the two. "It's not a real party, unless you're there."

"Yeah I guess you're right Dashie." Pinkie's bouncing slowed a bit, "I'm just so excited! This is going to be the bestest party Ever!" A large smile spread across her face as the three approached their destination.

Sugarcube corner was decorated even more than usual. There were several banners and lights decorating the building. As the sun started to set, the lights around the building lit up and started blinking. Pinkie burst into the building, almost bringing the door off its hinges. Rainbow Dash and Applejack followed right behind her walking into the bright and colorful building. Inside was covered with tons of colorful banners, music blasting from the DJ booth, and a large variety of snacks on a long gourmet table. Inside were Twilight and Fluttershy already enjoying the party.

Twilight was bugging the DJ about her music choices, and the DJ lifted her purple glasses up above her horn and started arguing back. While Fluttershy was trying a small portion of the food on the table. That's when Pinkie decided to burst in, "Let's get this party started!!!" As she burst in, Fluttershy jumped a bit and dropped a small sandwich.

Pinkie Pie pulled her party cannon from out of seemingly nowhere and pulled the string, causing a large amount of confetti and ribbons flying across the room. Applejack and Rainbow Dash entered the room and started to do their own thing. Rainbow Dash went to get some food and started to chat with Fluttershy, as Applejack went to break up the fight starting between Twilight and the DJ. After a while Rarity made her way to the party, fashionably late as usual. With everyone there, the party went into full swing. As the music blasted, the six friends danced on the dance floor, but someone was watching in the shadows.

A small fly was clinging to the wall, but this fly was strange, a small radio antennae extended from the fly's back. The fly then went off the wall and hovered over the punch bowl. A small hatch opened on the obvious robotic fly, and it dropped a small amount of powder into the punch and flew away. The fly landed back on the wall and a small camera exposed itself, watching the 6 friends. They all at one point took a drink from the punch bowl throughout the night. Each friend exposed to the mysterious fly's powder.

After a while the six friends ended up knocked out on the dance floor. The DJ looked over her turntables and saw the friends on the floor, "I guess the party's over?" The blue maned DJ took her gear and left the building. While all was quiet, the fly let out a radio signal, someone, somewhere was monitoring these six ponies.

~~~****~~~
"Is everything ready?"
"Yes sir, the 6 have been teleported successfully."
"Good, let's keep monitoring their progress and make sure events happen as planned."
"As you wish. I will go make sure they get started properly."
"Soon, very soon, the world will kneel before me. Muahhahhahhah!!!!"
~~~****~~~

A small light burst through the thick treeline and shone onto the light purple coat of Twilight's body. She slowly awoke to see a small purple rat like creature sniffing around her. "AHH!" Twilight screamed, startled by the creature she had never seen before. Her startled scream also startled the purple rat and caused it to flee into the dense thicket. Twilight wondered what kind of creature that was, but first she needed to find out where she was. She looked around the immediate area and could only see trees, bushes, and her friends still sleeping around her. She quickly started to wake everyone up and look around farther. With closer inspection, Twilight could see that the creatures in this forest were all very strange. She saw several large green Caterpillar-like creatures, several large birds with strange markings on their eyes, and more of those purple rats. The strange thing though was that they all looked the same, each rat, bird, and bug looked just like the last one. Twilight needed to know more, but right now she needed to figure out where they all were.

"That was some party!" Rainbow Dash yawned as she got up, "So where are we anyway?"

"That's what I would like to know." Twilight replied, "Why don't you fly up and get a look around?"

Rainbow Dash flew up and broke through the treeline into the sky. She looked around and saw a small town, along with several roads north of the town, and a coastline to the south of the town. She went back to here friends and reported what she saw. The six friends decided to head to the town and see if the ponies there could help them find their way back to Ponyville.

They made their way toward the town, shuffling through the tall grass. Ahead they saw another strange creature, this one walked on two limbs, wore clothes and had mysterious extremities extruding from where its hoofs would be. He looked to be older, wearing a white lab coat, and had several strange red and white balls on his belt. The strange creature spotted the six equines and to their surprise he could talk.

"My word, new types of pokemon? I should catch one to research it!" The man took a ball from his belt and threw it at Rainbow Dash. The ball bounced off of the cyan colored pony, let out a beam of red light that engulfed her. Rainbow Dash disappeared in a red wisp, that then retreated back into the red and white ball. The ball fell to the ground and started to shake.

"What in tarnation!"

"Oh my word!"

"Oh.. my!"

"Wowie!"

"What in Equestria was that!"

Everyone panicked as they watched their friend get sucked up into this ball. When the five started speaking, the older man took a step back in shock. "Y-You can talk!?" The man fell to the floor he was so shocked. The ball that was still shaking broke apart releasing Rainbow Dash.

"What the hay was that for!?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"How fascinating!" The man regained composure and stood back up, looking over to the 6 ponies, "Pokemon that can talk? I haven't seen this since Team Rocket!"

Twilight approached the man with caution, he didn't seem like he wanted to hurt them, "I'm sorry, but were not these, 'Pokemon' that you speak of. We're ponies, simple unicorn's, pegasi, and earth ponies." She explained, "We were having a party then we all passed out, and now we woke up in this forest surrounded by, what you called Pokemon I believe."

"How interesting," He focused closely at Twilight fascinated, he realized how close he was getting and backed away, "Well it looks like this will take some research in order to figure out. My name is Professor Oak by the way."

"My name is Twilight Sparkle." Twilight gave a bow of respect due to his 'Professor' title.

"I'm Applejack."

"My name's Pinkie Pie." She jumped a bit exited to meet someone new.

Rarity pointed to herself, "Rarity."

"Rainbow Dash, you know, the one you hit with that ball." She rubbed her head a little bit where the ball hit her.

Fluttershy was distracted from the whole conversation, choosing to get to know one of the small Caterpillar-like critters istead, this particular one was a bright golden color. "And that's Fluttershy over there." Rainbow Dash introduced Fluttershy, as the caterpillar-like creature climbed up her hoof and settled itself on Fluttershy's back. Fluttershy smiled and turned her attention back to the group.

Oak gave a slight bow after the introductions and continued, "Let's head back to my lab, we can discuss where to go next from there." Oak started walking down the path as the six followed behind him. They all walked down the path toward the town. As soon as they passed another patch of slightly tall grass Oak introduced the town, "This is Pallet Town." It was a small town with only a few buildings, two that stood almost identical to each other, and a large building past those two. The town was small, but it seemed like the perfect place for a fresh start.

The six friends and Oak went to the large building. Inside there was a lot of shelves containing those red and white balls from before, Computer towers, and there was also a small racket emanating from the back of the building.

"Get back here Marill! Give that back!" A crash came from the back of the lab. As everyone went back to see what happened, they saw a younger male holding on to a strange looking blue and white creature in his arms, while sitting in a large pile of those balls. The male had a green shirt and a red headband. "Hey Professor Oak, sorry about the mess. Marill got out of its pokeball and I had to give chase after it got into the pokefood." The guy took a ball off his belt and the Marill returned to it's pokeball as he stood up.

"Ahh Tracy, it's no worry, we can clean up later." Oak reassured his assistant, "For now we have a different problem." Oak stepped to the side and showed Tracy the new guests. "Girls this is Tracy Sketchit, my assistant."

"Hello Tracy." Twilight introduced herself first, she started to pick up some of the Pokeballs off the floor and setting them up on the nearest shelf.

"Howdy." Applejack tipped her hat

"Hiya!" Pinkie Pie hopped toward Tracy before getting pulled back by Rainbow Dash before she could knock over another shelf.

"Good day." Rarity nodded toward Tracy.

"Hi." Fluttershy shyly introduced herself.

The golden worm on her back poked its head out from behind Fluttershy and happily cried, "Caterpie!"

Tracy fell back down again when he heard them speak, "Y-Y-You can talk!?" his voice cracked, "Pokemon that can talk! Professor you realize this is incredibly rare right?!"

"Yes Tracy that would be rare, but they aren't pokemon." Oak replied.

"How is that possible?" he asked as he looked over to Fluttershy. He was intrigued about this phenomenon, but he saw the Caterpie and was more fascinated with the Pokemon on Fluttershy's back. He quickly approached her and his eyes widened, "Where on Earth did you find this Caterpie!?" He started to look at the golden Caterpie on Flutershy's back as she cowered at the sudden, unexpected question and approach. "Oh I'm sorry." Tracy backed away a bit, realizing that he frightened her, "It's just that color of Caterpie is extremely rare! I have to know where you found it!?"

"Oh. um. It just approached me and grew attached to me. I have a way with animals." Fluttershy quiet voice trembled as she got back up.

"Okay, that's enough of the introductions." Oak interrupted and turned to Twilight, "Now, Twilight was it? why don't you inform us about every detail of where you came from. I'm just fascinated about how you got here and where you could be from." Oak pulled up a chair and sat down.

"Alright Professor," Twilight sat down as well and started to tell the tale of her, and her friends, adventures in Equestria. Everything from her arrival, up to the incident with Discords reforming.

~~~****~~~
After a long conversation, Oak and Tracy knew all about Equestria and the Elements of Harmony. Oak pondered about all the information that he just listened to, "It seems like these, Elements of Harmony, you six represent are your only chance to get back to your dimension, but the big problem is that you don't have them with you at the moment." He got up and went to a single bookshelf that sat in the corner. Oak looked through the books until one caught his eye, he took out the book and sat back down. "The only advice I could tell you is to go seek out the wisdom of the champions and legendary trainers." He turned the pages of the book, "there are six champions and two legendary trainers." Oak paused for a moment and made the connection, "It's strange, six champions, six of you. Six Elements of Harmony. Also when I think about it, the champions seem to have been acting strange lately." Oak balanced the book in his lap, "Maybe finding them will give insight to what you should do in order to get back."
Twilight thought for a moment and turned to her friends, "What do you think girls?"
"Sounds like fun!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Ah reckon it's the only way." Applejack agreed.
"I don't mind, as long as I can see more of these cute little creatures." Fluttershy commented while the Caterpie started to fall asleep on her back.
"Sounds like an adventure! I'm in!" Rainbow Dash said imagining that this would be an adventure like in the Daring Do books.
"As long as it doesn't take too long." Rarity concluded.
"Alright were all set then, let's get going girls." Twilight was about to head out to leave before Oak stopped them.
"Now just a minute. It's a long journey ahead of you, and you all seem to have traits resembling pokemon. That explains why you got sucked up into that ball earlier today." Oak warned as he stood up, "Also, if you are going to seek out the champions, you're all going to need to go through the Pokemon League. The champions don't just take visitors, plus the world can be a dangerous place if you don't have some Pokemon of your own, and if you all have the chance of getting caught by any old trainer." Oak made his way to a pile of boxes and started searching through them.
"Well then what should we all do?" Twilight asked.
"If you give me a few hours, I could create something to nullify a Pokeball's ability to catch you." He pulled out several Pokeballs using his shirt as a bowl. "In the meantime, take a starter Pokemon and get acquainted. I just got each of the starters shipped to me from the other professors for research, but this seems to be a better use for them." He showed the girls 15 pokeballs and let them pick. They each took a pokeball and held them, looking them over not knowing who they picked.
Oak returned all the other pokeballs and set them in a special stand next to the PC. He turned back to the girls who were still staring at the pokeballs, "Alright, one more thing that you need before i get to work on that device." He opened a drawer under the PC and pulled out a fancy box. From that box he took out 6 strange devices. "This is the Pokedex, I first made this years ago. This device records the information on Pokemon. Their moves, level, type, everything. If you want to know something about Pokemon, it's in there." Oak handed each of the girls a Pokedex "Okay then, I guess you can go and aquatint yourselves with your Pokemon while I work on the devices. Just stay in the town, we don't need you getting into trouble."
"But what about the trainers of this here town?" Applejack noted.
"Don't worry, the only people that live here are the residences of the other two houses, and the only people close to trainers here, are me and Tracy."
The girls nodded in confirmation and went outside. They decided to take their pokemon and go off with them one on one.
Twilight, Piplup, and a Kind Woman
The girls all left the lab. They had just gotten their Pokemon and Pokedex's. Now they each went to one part of the town to get better acquainted with their new partners.
Twilight & Piplup
Twilight headed to the field next to one of the other two houses in the town. She looked down at the Pokeball in her hoof. She tossed the Pokeball on the ground in front of her releasing her new partner. In front of her stood a light blue penguin-like creature, "Piplup!" it cried out as it looked around for its new trainer. It looked at Twilight and kept looking around, "Piplup?"
"Over here," Twilight said with a smile, greeting her soon to be friend. "So this is a Pokemon huh?" She looked over the Piplup a little more. Just as she moved in closer, Piplup looked over Twilight just as much as she did him. Twilight laughed a little bit, "Looks like you're just as curious as I am." The Piplup nodded and seemed to smile at Twilight. "Oh yes! I almost forgot," She took out the Pokedex that Oak gave her, "I should be able to find out more about you from this." She pressed the button on the device and a back panel with another screen flipped up above the first screen. It lit up and showed Piplup on the top screen. On the bottom screen were all kinds of statistics about this particular Piplup. Before Twilight could make any remark about this technology, The Pokedex started to speak.
"Piplup, the water penguin pokemon. What it lacks in walking skill, it makes up for in pride by puffing up its chest." Twilight looked back at Piplup and decided to test this theory.
"Hey Piplup do you mind walking toward me really quick?" Twilight walked back a few paces and waited for Piplup. After a bit of preparation, he started to waddle toward Twilight. About halfway toward Twilight he fell flat on his face. He quickly jumped back up, puffed out his chest, and finished walking to Twilight. His chest was extruded the rest of the way to Twilight. She giggled a bit as Piplup crossed its fins and turned its head. "I'm sorry Piplup I just had to verify the pokedex's information." She smiled and then looked back to the bottom screen of the pokedex. "Ok how about we find out what these attacks do then we can go find out more about this world." She read off the attacks that Piplup had currently. "Hmm only two? Pound and Growl?" Twilight thought for a moment, her horn lit up and a patch of ground lit up with it. The patch of lifted up and molded into a pillar. "Okay Piplup try using pound on the pillar."
Piplup nodded and jumped up toward the pillar hitting it with his fin, upon impact, the pillar shattered. Twilight brought up a small shield as pieces of rocks flew toward her. "Very good, it seems there is more to you then meets the eye." She looked back at the pokedex again, "I wonder what growl would do?" as she finished asking the question the pokedex spoke up.
"Growl: the user lets out a cry that will lower the effectiveness of other Pokemon's attacks."
"Interesting, seems like you also have moves that don't do damage, but instead give you a tactical advantage." Twilight looked back at Piplup. He was puffing out his chest in pride as he was praised. Twilight looked around and thought back to last night, trying to deduce what happened to her and her friends. She made a small thinking pose, putting her hoof to her chin and closing her eyes. Piplup looked up and decided to mimic her putting his fin up to his chin and closing his eyes. Twilight opened her eyes, not being able to remember anything from the previous night, to see Piplup mimicking her previous pose. She let out a light laugh, "You're so adorable hehe." She picked up Piplup with her magic and set him on her back. "Let's go see what we can find out about this town shall we?" Piplup let out a hearty cry as if to say 'let's go!'
Twilight made her way to one of the houses in the town. She looked at the sign on the door, "Red's house... hmm what a strange name." Twilight was about to knock on the door when she realized, "Wait a minute, I'm a strange creature in a stranger world, who knows how this 'Red' will react." She thought out loud. Before she could decide what to do someone's voice came from behind the door.
"Oh is someone there?" The voice was from a woman, much older then Twilight.
Twilight panicked a bit "No wait! don't open the door!"
"Why ever not dear?" The door slowly opened to reveal the owner of the voice, a tall mature woman with dark blue hair, and a face so kind, Fluttershy would be seen as mean. The woman looked down at Twilight and her Piplup. "You two look like you were meant for each other" She smiled and motioned for the two to enter.
Twilight walks inside to an old fashioned house, a small table, kitchen, and a strange box all in the same room. The rest of the house was neat and organized, just how Twilight liked it. "This is a lovely home, miss... uhh"
"You can just call me mom," She smiled as she took a seat at the floor table, "everyone else does."
Twilight took a spot on the floor across the table from Mom, and the two shared an awkward silence for a while. Twilight was surprised to see her calm reaction to a talking pony. Twilight spoke up first, "So who is Red?" she addressed the issue of the name on the door.
"Oh..." she looked down with a sad look and paused for a moment. "Let me make some tea, and I will tell you a story." She stood up and went to the stove. "Red is my son." She said as she put the kettle on the fire.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring up a touchy subject" Twilight blushed a bit, as Piplup patted her on the head and jumped off her back and onto the table.
"It's fine dear," she finished making the tea and went back to the table with glasses and a bowl of pokemon food. She sat back down and pored some tea for the two as she set down the bowl for Piplup. He had stars in his eyes as he started to devour the food. Mom laughed a bit seeing Piplup, "You have such an appetite huh?"
Twilight couldn't help but smile watching Piplup, but they were getting off topic. "So what was that about Red?" She said nervously not wanting to sound like she was prying.Mom's smile faded, it was apparent that this was a very sensitive subject for her, but Twilight had to know about this person now.
"Red used to live here with me, that is... until he got his pokemon." She took a sip of tea, "Long ago he went off on his adventure. I'm sure he had a wonderful time but I worry sometimes about the trouble I hear on the TV, and if my little Red is out there in the middle of it all?"
Twilight used her magic and took a sip of tea, "Do you know where he is now?"
Red's mother looked out the window and sighed, "The last I heard of him... he was fighting in the Indigo Plateau. A place for the strongest trainers to test themselves against 4 legendary trainers. The Elite Four."
Twilight wondered if the Elite Four were the legendary trainers that Oak talked about. She decided that in order to find out what happened maybe they would have some answers. Twilight stood up abruptly, "Thank you miss, I'm going to go find these trainers and help you find Red!" She started for the door before being stopped by Red's mother.
"Wait!" Red's mother interrupted, "I may not be able to stop you from leaving to find Red, but at least see what you can find out from his room." She pointed Twilight towards the stairs in the corner of the room.
Twilight went up the stairs and into the single bedroom upstairs, Piplup stayed downstairs with Red's mom still eating. The room was just as simple as the one downstairs, a bed, computer, rug, bookshelf, and TV with game console. Twilight went straight to the bookshelf to see what was there. The shelf was lined with children's books about Pokemon. Twilight skimmed through the books and learned a few things about Pokemon, what they are, how they are living things just like us, the basic types, and other general knowledge. After reading the basic children books, she saw one large book hidden behind the others, "An Experts Guide To Pokemon."
Twilight took the book and went back downstairs. Red's Mother saw the book and smiled, "So you found it." She got up from the table and walked over to Twilight, putting her hand on Twilight's head. "Take it and use the knowledge it gives you to find my boy. When you find him, Tell him to come home every now and then."
Twilight nodded and picked up Piplup, who was laying down on his back, full from the meal. She set him on her back and walked out the door. She turned around once to see Red's mother in the doorway, Twilight waved "Thank you, I will be back soon. I promise!"
She was going to check on the house next door but after hearing a loud thud she decided otherwise. Right before she could go to investigate the noise, the Pokedex made a loud beeping sound. Twilight opened the Pokedex to see Oak on the screen.
"Twilight, you and your friends can come back to the lab now. I have finished the devices you need. I will be calling the others right after this. see you all back at the lab." The Pokedex's screen shut down as the call ended.
She then began her way back to the lab.
Rainbow Dash & Turtwig
~~~~****~~~~

"There was a problem with the transport sir."

"What are you talking about!? What kind of problem?"

"Well sir, they were successfully transported to this world but..."

"Out with it already!"

"They ended up on the edge of Pallet town in the Kanto region."

"..."

"Sir?"

"Go Out There And Bring Them Here!!!"

"Y-Yes sir!"

~~~~****~~~~
Rainbow Dash quickly left the lab and flew to the small clearing where she and her friends woke up. With what the Professor told them about Pokemon She couldn't wait to see how awesome her first Pokemon would be. She tossed the pokeball out a few feet in front of her. A stream of red light emerged as the ball opened, forming the shape of her new partner. The red light flashed once more as the form became a solid creature.
"Turtwig!" The little creature cried as she happily bounced up and down, glad to be out of the pokeball for a while.
Rainbow Dash looked over at Turtwig and couldn't help but let a small tear roll down her cheek as Turtwig reminded her of Tank, she realized that she wouldn't see him again for a long time. She wiped away the tear and looked back at Turtwig, who was now nibbling at a nearby bush. Dash took out her new pokedex and pressed the button on its front, it flipped open and an image of Turtwig appeared on the screen.
The pokedex started to speak up, "Turtwig the Tiny leaf pokemon. Their Shells are made of hardened soil, a healthy Turtwig's shell should feel moist to the touch."
Dash browsed through the pokedex and checked Turtwigs moves and other basic information. She closed the pokedex after seeing all she wanted to see. When she looked back up for Turtwig, she was missing. Dash quickly looked around for Turtwig, until she felt something fall on her from above and bite her mane. Turtwig was playfully latched onto Dash's head nibbling on her mane. After Turtwig got a good taste of the rainbow mane she quickly jumped off and started to lick the ground and wiping off her tongue.
Dash laughed, "Yeah I get that a lot!"
Turtwig finished getting the taste of Dash's hair out of her mouth as she began to look up into one of the trees. Dash looked up as well and saw a couple of berries hanging from a branch. "Oh, did you want one of those berries?" Dash asked.
"Wig!" Turtwig nodded still looking up at the two berries.
Dash flew up and plucked the two berries, they were a light blue color and tough to the touch. She gave one of the berries to Turtwig and watched as she ate the berry. Dash examined the berry in her hoof and took a curious bite. Her eyes lit up as a wonderful array of flavors mixed in her mouth. She stuffed the other half of the berry in her mouth and enjoyed the flavors. She would definitely have to bring some back for her friends to try.
She flew around the trees and after a while she had a pile of a few dozen Oran berries. As soon as she was about to pack up the berries and head back to town, someone started to speak from behind her.
"Good to see you're awake."
Rainbow Dash turned around to see a person walk out from the tree line. He was tall, skinny, had blue hair, dark green eyes, wore a long lab coat, black shirt, and blue jeans that had several pokeballs clipped on his belt. Dash had a bad feeling about this guy, something about him felt wrong.
He continued to speak, "I'm glad that there were no problems with the transport itself." He reached into his pocket and took out a small device on which he started to type. "I guess we will just have to tweak the output a little bit. We don't want our subjects ending up in the wrong place again." He finished with the device and put it back in his pocket.
"Who are you?" Dash spoke up before this guy could start ranting.
"Oh!" He looked back at Dash, "Where are my manners." He took a bow as he introduced himself. "My name is Jace, my boss brought you to here from your world." He reached into his coat and took out a metallic rod, "I'm going to have to bring you and your friends back to our hideout."
"There's no way I'm going to come with you so don't even bother asking my friends." Dash took a defensive stance as Turtwig stood in front of her ready to protect her new trainer.
Jace adjusted his glasses a bit, "I'm afraid I wasn't asking." He flicked the rod and it extended into a stun rod and sparked with electricity. He then tossed out one of his pokeballs, releasing a Beldum that began to charge at Rainbow Dash and Turtwig.
Dash Picked up Turtwig and began to fly just above the treetops. Turtwig began to struggle in her hoofs, "What?... Don't tell me you actually want to fight those two!?" Turtwig looked up at her and confidently nodded. "Alright good, cause I was planning on it." Dash smiled, "You take the other pokemon and I'll get Jace." Turtwig nodded and the two were ready.
"You can't hide forever Dashie! If I can't take you back, I will just have to go find one of your friends and take them!" Jace taunted.
Hearing this, Dash quickly flew back down and dived toward the Beldum, who was charging at them again. Dash let go of Turtwig and started charging at Jace. Turtwig turned and withdrew into her shell as the Beldum hit. The Beldum bounced off of Turtwig's shell, Turtwig taking little damage, the two now facing each other on the ground.
Dash charged headfirst towards Jace ready to strike. Jace's stun rod sparked as he stepped out of the way, Dash missing her mark. Jace laughed, "you're going to have to try harder then that."
"Shut it!" She yelled back turning around and charging after Jace again.
Jace once again stepped out of the way this time striking Rainbow Dash with the stun rod on her back leg. She spun out of control and crashed into a nearby tree, dropping a few more Oran berries on the ground. Jace started to walk toward her slowly, "We've been studying you and your friends for weeks, we know all about you."
Dash got back up and hovered up out of Jace's reach, "you know nothing about us!"
Jace continued walking toward Dash's crash spot, "I guess the regular voltage isn't enough to knock you out." he twisted the handle of the stun rod and more sparks flew off the rod. Rainbow Dash flew in again to try and hit Jace. Once again he stepped out of the way but instead of hitting her with the stun rod, Jace punched Dash as she flew by. The impact sent Dash crashing into the ground. "Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Didn't you learn that doesn't work?" He started to walk towards her again and started laughing, "Isn't this exciting? It's just like one of your Daring Doo adventures you love to read. The only thing missing is your miraculous rescue." He got close and crouched down looking the injured pony in the face, "It's too bad there's nobody around to save you." He raised the stun rod in the air as Dash closed her eyes.
She was surprised when nothing happened, she opened her eyes to see Turtwig latched onto Jace's head, and his stun rod on the ground. He struggled trying to get the pokemon to stop biting his head, as Dash looked over to see the Beldum fainted. She took this moment and started flying around Jace as fast as she could, creating a miniature rainbow tornado around the two. Jace threw Turtwig, as Dash caught her and held her close continuing to create the tornado around Jace. Dash went faster and faster pulling in plenty of leaves and oran berries scattered around the forest, the Beldum included.
The tornado lifted Jace and Beldum into the air and launched the two in seperate directions. Beldum flew off somewhere closer to town. Jace flew off farther into the forest but disappeared before hitting the treeline. Dash slowed down and fell to the forest floor, tired. Turtwig made her way out from under Dash and stumbled to a nearby bush. Dash looked up and saw Turtwig gathering berries.
Dash looked back to see a large burn streak running down her leg where Jace struck her. She felt a tug on her mane and looked back at Turtwig. There was now a good stack of 10 or more berries in front of her. In a weak voice Dash told Turtwig, "Thanks kid but I don't think a snack is going to help right now."
Turtwig bonked Dash on the head and pointed at the berries again. Giving in, Dash ate a few of the berries. She instantly felt her strength come back to her. She finished off the pile and stood back up, "That's incredible!" She flapped her wings a bit, "I guess these berries can heal too. Man these things just get better and better!" Turtwig smiled as a ring came from Dash's pokedex.
Dash took out her pokedex and hit the button, the screen flipped up and revealed Professor Oaks face. "Rainbow Dash! I just finished with my work. I need you to come back to the lab." before Dash could respond the call ended
"well I guess we are headed back then." Dash said looking back at Turtwig.
The two then headed back to Pallet Town, Turtwig riding on Dash's back the whole way.
Rarity & Chimchar
Rarity was a bit reluctant to leave the lab. She didn't really want to go back outside, it was all too rural for her, even more than Ponyville. So she stayed inside the lab as the others went outside.
"Not going outside Rarity?" Oak Asked as he started to clear off a space to work on.
Rarity flicked her hair back, "Precisely, I'm not one to get my hooves dirty outside."
"That's understandable, judging from how neat your hair is I would say you're interested in high fashion?"
"Exactly!" Rarity went to a nearby bookshelf and used her magic to lift a few books and put them back neatly, "I really do hope that there is more to do around here then tidy up and watch you work."
Oak paused in thought for a moment, "I think I have something sitting around here that you'll like. Just wait a minute."
He walked off and started rummaging through a box, tossing around Pokeballs of different varieties, several discs of different colors, and other items which looked like vials of liquid. He continued to throw these items out until he stood up and dusted off a dusty case that looked like a small dresser. "Here you go Rarity. This is a Prop Case, I think you'll like it." Oak set the box down in front of Rarity.
Rarity lifted the box with her magic and brought it closer to examine it. She opened the drawers to find 3 capsules. "What are these Professor?" Rarity asked while looking closely at the capsule.
Oak was already back at his table working again, "Oh you just press the button there on top."
Rarity pressed the button on top of the blue capsule she had in front of her, a small puff of smoke emerged and Rarity looked away. When the smoke cleared and she looked back there was a very fancy, dark blue, wide brim fedora. Her eyes shone and she instantly started ranting, "The fabric in this hat is perfect! The design is to die for..." She continued to rant for a good ten minutes before Oak couldn't stand it.
"Could you please go and, uhh I don't know, bond with your new pokemon somewhere other then here." There was a slight anger in his voice.
"I'm sorry dear." She blushed and packed up her new Prop Case and cleared out a space in another part of the lab, away from the Professor and his work.
Rarity opened the other capsules to reveal an elegant purple cape with white inner trimming and a fancy black cane with a pearl handle on top. She admired the props for a bit longer before looking back at her pokeball and pokedex sitting next to each other a few feet away. She lifted the two and brought them close, she pressed the button on the pokedex and it opened. The pokedex was pointed toward the pokeball as it started to speak.
"Pokeball, a unit to hold and capture pokemon. To release a captured pokemon, toss the pokeball, once it hits the ground the pokemon will be released. To capture a pokemon, weaken it and throw an empty pokeball at the pokemon. After shaking three times the button on the ball will flash red and fade, you have now captured a pokemon!"
Rarity decided it was time to see what pokemon would be accompanying her throughout her time in this world. She tossed the pokeball in front of her and a red light emerged and formed the shape of a small monkey. The light flashed and sitting in front of her was an orange and yellow monkey with a flame instead of a tail. The pokedex spoke up again.
"Chimchar, the monkey pokemon. It can climb mountains and steep cliffs with ease. When Chimchar sleeps the flame on it's tail goes out. The flame is powered by gas in Chimchar's stomach."
Chimchar puffed out his chest in pride as he listened to his own description, as Rarity spoke up "You're so adorable!" She lifted up Chimhar with her magic and almost squeezed the life out of him. "If only I had my fabric from the shop, i would make you the most fabulous outfit!" She put Chimchar down and took the cape and fedora then put them on Chimchar instantly. "I guess this will have to do for now until I get proper materials." She moved over the prop case's mirror so Chimchar could see what he looked like.
He smiled at the site of himself in this outfit. He slid his fingers across the brim of the wide fedora and did a slight turn to throw the end of the cape up in the air a bit.
Rarity smiled, "I'm delighted that you like it, but the colors are a bit off. Just wait until I make you a complete outfit!"
"Char!" Chimchar delightfully answered looking forward to Rarity's proposal.
Suddenly a crash could be heard from above the two. As Rarity looked up she was greeted with a "Surprise!" as a bucket of water was thrown on her and Chimchar.
Pinkie Pie could be seen hanging from a window on the roof with a now empty bucket. "We got you good Rarity!" She quickly retreated from the window on the roof and disappeared again.
Rairty stood there in shock for a bit before realizing what happened and screaming "MY HAIR!!!!" She panicked and started to wring out her hair complaining about having to dry it and all the work it would take to fix. Chimchar took off the soaked clothing and began to dry it off with a small fire from his mouth. Rarity was still complaining about her wet hair as Chimchar rolled his eyes. He walked over to Rarity and began to blow hot air at Rarity's mane.
She looked over and smiled at Chimchar "you're so sweet!"
Chimchar smiled back and the two continued to fix Rarity's hair until the Professor interrupted.
"Rarity," he yelled from the other room, "I need you to come on back in here, the devices are ready."
She got up and walked back into the other room with Chimchar.
