Rainbow Dash has been having stange dreams, they get longer and longer. Pretty soon she's trapped.
Don't fall asleep......... Rainbow Dash has been having strange and unusual dreams. Every night, they get longer, and longer, creepier and creepier. Its almost as if somepony is controlling them. She has tried lucid dreaming and all the tricks in the book, but nothing works. It's like she got trapped in somepony else's dream, yet she knows it's hers.......
Rainbow Dash slowly opened her sleepy eyes. She looked into the mirror, she laughed at the sight. Her mane was all messed up, and there was a line of wetness from her drooling. She looked into the clock: 12:00 midnight it read, early.....er, late, either one. The moon was covered up by the clouds, strange...... she had went to bed late because of one of Pinkie's crazy parties, and it had been only five minutes. It was impossible for the clouds to have came that quick. And the clouds were red. A creepy shape was outlined in the clouds, an evil, smiling, toothy one. Drip..drip...drip Rainbow Dash spun around, she was having the dream again. 'Oh, crap!' she thought, that wasn't good. She had had the dream multiple times before, everyone of them starting the same way, but getting longer and longer. 'No!' she thought, this only meant more seemingly endless torture and fear. She bit her lip, and tried to be brave. Her wall twisted and cracked until it opened into a twisting pathway, darker than ever. 'I'm not going through that again.' she thought turning around. But as she did, her bed and every thing broke like glass and fell away, into a black nothingness. Dash lifted a hoof and stepped back, the floor giving way in front of her, forcing to go into the pathway. She turned away and slowly stalked into it, keeping her eyes on the floor, knowing what she would see when she looked up. A moaning sound filled the entire room, getting louder each time. Rainbow heard hoof-steps, getting closer and closer. She squeezed her eyes shut, 'Oh no...ohnoohnoohno' She walked faster, than trotted, than galloped. The hoof-steps got closer- than stopped. Rainbow Dash paused listening, straining to hear. She hadn't ever gotten this far in the dream, if she had, it had always ended differently. She would get to the end of the tunnel, the hoof-steps getting closer and closer, than a great blackness would enclose her, ripping chunks of her away until she was nothing. She had no idea what would happen next. Taking a deep breath she stood up straight, her old self returning back to her, "Show yourself!" she yelled, "You big bastard!" Heavy breathing came from beside her, than all around her. A cracking, creepy, evil, quiet laugh echoed through the walls. Rainbow gulped, "Come out now!" her voice squeaked. Heh heh........ The laugh continued. Rainbow Dash punched the air, "I ain't afraid a' you!" she yelled, spinning around. Glowing red eyes opened in the darkness, illuminating the space around them, but not revealing the....thing. Rainbow's eyes got wide, "C-c-come out-t-t-t!" she stammered. Heh heh.... the voice laughed. A black hoof with dark black firey darkness stepped out. The smiled lit up, "So your heeeere....." It said, "Heeeere fffor goooood," Rainbow was silent. "Was the matter? Arrren't youuu the famous Rainbow Dashhh? Thee bravesst flier in Equestria?" A faint outline of the shape showed.
"Thats r-right!" Rainbow Dash screamed, still stunned. Rainbow couldn't see it, but the smile got bigger, "Heh" the figure laughed, "Bewaaaareeee," it said sinking into the shadows, "Bewareeeeeeee........."
Rainbow Dash bit her lip, and continued back down the hallway, 'Whoah...' she thought. She walked for what seemed hours, not looking up, still knowing she would see.. THEM. She knew it, for tiny sounds echoed off the walls. She walked faster again, still sorta scared of what would happen. She had NEVER had a dream this long, and had never been this creeped out. But, she wasn't scared, Duh', Rainbow Dash never got scared. She finally reached the end, a dead end. The wall in-front of her twisted into an odd shape like a toothy mouth, and slit eyes. An evil maniacal laugh echoed out of it. She stepped in.
It was dark everywhere. No light, but when her eyes adjusted, she saw an old toy she used to have when she was a filly, a bright joyful pegasus plushie. "Mr. Flappy.....?" she said, walking closer. It was him! She picked him up. Looking closer, she saw differences, his smile was a bright red and was big and squiggly, like somepony had drawn it on him with a marker, "Ehhhhhh he heh heh heh," evil, dark laughter came out of the toy, it's eyes glowed red. Rainbow Dash dropped it in surprise.
"Blood and bones...

Blood and-"
The creepy song stopped, and Rainbow Dash froze. The toy stood up. It grew bigger, dark green arms with claws on the end came out, blood flowed out of it's mouth, the song quietly starting up again. The fabric peeled away, revealing more dripping, decaying skin,
"Blood and bones.... Blood and bones... Blood and boneeeesssssss........
Rainbow Dash took five steps back. She heard a shattering noise behind her, the floor was falling again! The thing got closer,
Blood and bones, blood and bones, blood and booooooonessssss
Rainbow shut her eyes tightly and lowered her head, breathing heavily. She could feel it's darkness surrounding her. Heh heh..... She opened her eyes, just a tiny bit, for just a second, and saw the horror. The dark mist was closing in on her, squeezing her. behind the cute button eyes fire burned. Evil squirmy noises came out from it. Rainbow's eyes locked with it's. No matter how hard she tried to escape, she couldn't. It slowly crept forward, quietly crackling. Dash felt a clawed.........hand, grabbing her, but nothing was there. She felt she was going to explode when, she woke up.
Dash lay in her bed, sweating and breathing heavily. Her friends were gathered around her.
"She's awake!"
"Finally!"
"Sshhhh....you don't want to surprise her......"
"Oh, dear! Look at that rat's nest of a mane!"
"Let's throw a happy waking up after three weeks party!"
Rainbow Dash widened her eyes, three weeks?! She sat up rubbing her head, "Wha- what happened?" she stammered.
"Oh! I'm sorry, did we wake you up...?"
Rainbow Dash looked over each of her friends, "Sooooo... is one of you guys gonna answer?" Twilight Sparkle stepped up.
"Oh Rainbow! You feel asleep, and when we didn't see you for the next five days, we came up here to find you!"
"And you were asleep! But now you're awake! Which is great! Wadduya wanna do?"
Rainbow shook her head to clear her mind. The images still in her mind's eye, "How did you get up here?" she yawned. Twilight cocked her head, "....The spell we used to come see you compete in the Best Young Flyers competition?" Rainbow nodded, "Oh yeah," she said. Rubbing her head, she stretched out her back and smacked her lips to get the taste of sleep away. She hopped out of bed. "Do you have any idea why you slept so long?" Twilight asked. Rainbow shook her head, "No....." Twilight made a suspicious face, it sounded like a lie. Pinkie shrugged, "I donno about you sillies, but I'm going to go prepare for a party!" she took a party hat out of nowhere and placed it on her head. Fluttershy looked away, "Um....do you want some privacy Rainbow? 'cause I'll leave....sorry to bother you," she quietly walked away. Rainbow Dash desided not to answer, and got out of bed, brushing her teeth. "Dear, you must be simply starving! Let me get you some food," Rarity offered. Rainbow Dash nodded, she was pretty hungry. So Rarity trotted away. That just left Twilight, Applejack, and herself in the room. Applejack had hardly spoken, she was taking this very lightly. Rainbow had expected to see all her friends crowding her and being very worried, but this was fine. "Beg pardon Rainbow," Applejack suddenly said, "But just what exactly do you think yer doin' not telling us somethin'?" Rainbow bit her lip, "I uh.....I don't know what your talking about." Applejack came closer, "Me and Twilight KNOW your not tellin' us somptin'" Rainbow Dash pushed her away, "I'm not hiding anything," she said sharply. Applejack raised an eyebrow, "Alrighty then, but I you have any problems, don't come crying' to me." and with that, she walked out side. Just Rainbow and Twilight. "Um," Rainbow started,"Where did they all go?" There was an awkward silence. "In the ballon," Twilight finally said," Where else?" Rainbow felt stupid, "Oh," that's all she said. More silence.
About five minutes later, Twilight broke the silence, but with something Rainbow did not want to hear: "Tell me Rainbow," she demanded, "What is going in? Why won't you tell us?" Rainbow Dash looked away, than suddenly looked back, her face a bright red, "THAT'S NONE IF YOUR BUSINESS!" she shouted, startling Twilight, "Now please go away and leave me alone!" Twilight was shocked. She stepped back, "Fine than," she stated, "I'll be leaving now." She walked away in a huff, leaving Rainbow to herself. Rainbow sat on her bed and ran her hooves through her mane, "It's all okay now," she said to herself, "It was just a dream, nothing more than a simple thought, but she knew it was more than that. It was a life, it was a reality, it was serious.
Rainbow buried her head in her hooves,"oh, who am I kidding," she said," I might as well carry on with my day." She flew outside. Seeing cookies on the ground, she picked them up and munched happily. A note that she hadn't seen before fluttered. Rainbow picked it up, and read it:
Dearest Rainbow Dash, It has come to my attention that you have been having problems with your dreams. If it isn't too much trouble, I would like you to come and visit Caterlot Castle, ASAP, and we shall descus.

Rainbow Dash crumpled up the parchment and grumbled, "How the hay does she knew this crap?" she said out loud. Several ponies turned to look at her. Rainbow grumbled some more and flew off. She desired she was lazy, so Rainbow took the train.
She settled down beside a big, grizzly pony. He grunted. Rainbow Dash looked out the window, trying to avoid anything the pony would do. Rainbow turned her head, but only to see the grizzly pony staring at her face. She made a weird expression and he grunted again, looking away. Rainbow shrugged, "Whatever," she said aloud. The grizzly pony's head swiveled around, a nasty gleam in his eyes. Rainbow jerked back, surprised. "Whadda you want?" she spit. The tough pony growled and grabbed Rainbow, suddenly throwing her against the glass. Rainbow Dash shook her head, scarlet drops flying everywhere. Her nose was bleeding.
