who is Razer Horn and how did he just appear from nothing, where did he come from, who is he really?
Razer Horn is an Immortal Alicorn who has no memory of his family or any life before he appeared int the woods outside of the Royal Palace in Canterlot. he was found by a young Princess Luna and was brought Before her parents who allowed him to live in the palace until he was of school age and then sent him to live in a home not to far away where he was kept under constant watch by royal guards until he was trained to be a member of the BLADE's Guild. But what is his past, where did he come from and who are his parent and why does he have 2 other personalities that can take control of his body at will. embark on a journey that will shock and amaze you as you find out who Razer really is
As Bastion Yorsets, the new headmaster of Celestia's school for gifted Unicorns read his favorite book, An Ancient History of Equestria, the only sound in the class room was the scratching of quill on parchment. He looked up briefly to see Nyx, the young Alicorn, and daughter of his Old friend's daughter Twilight, meticulously taking today's notes and transcribing them for easier study. "Nyx, don't you think it getting a little late, shouldn't you head back to your dorm room and get ready for bed? Your first class is The History of Equestria and it does start at 8:00 on the dot."
"I know Professor Yorsets, but I just need to get this last page done, and I cant do it in my dorm room because my room-mates are to noisy" Nyx replied looking up at her teacher. "Bye the way Professor what are you reading?"
"Oh this? This is a book called An Ancient History of Equestria, it was written by the parents of the Princesses, the king of the skies, King Swiftwing and the queen of the earth, Queen Naturemane. It describes how our world came into being" Bastion Answered "I have read it so many times and yet I still learn more would you like to borrow it I'm sure you will enjoy it just as much as I do."
"Really Professor, you would let me borrow it?” Nyx asked eagerly, an insatiable curiosity and hunger for knowledge burning in her eyes.
"Of course, why what kind of teacher would I be if I said no to allowing a student to further their studies? I have read it many times over already, take it and read some tonight, do tell me what you think after our next class" Bastion replied, handing her the book.
"Oh Celestia thank you so much professor" Nyx exclaimed, taking the book in her magic and gently placing it in her saddle bags. "I'll go back to my dorm room right away." Nyx then quickly finished her transcription bid her professor farewell and quickly trotted away, excited about the knowledge she was sure to find. Later that night, after her room-mates had already gone to bed, she brought out the book, walked into the living area, lit a candle and began to read.
Long ago, when the universe was still in its infancy, the Eternal creator of all things made the first Alicorns. She made two who were shinning and good and gave them power over light, but she also made two who were black and evil and gave them power over darkness. when the four met they clashed and their battle raged for eons, centuries or days for the concept of time had as of yet not been created.
Then in her infinite wisdom, the eternal created two more Alicorns, these were neither inherently good nor evil but neutral. These two Beings broke the conflict between the other four and suggested that they all create their own specific planes where they could exist as they wished. The Eternal agreed and thus the three worlds of Tartarus, Kosmos, and Atlas were created. The two dark Alicorns named themselves Malice and Misfortune and chose Tartarus as their domain, the light Alicorns chose the names Valor and Virtue and chose Kosmos, and lastly the Neutral Alicorns chose Ouros and Gia as their names and were given Atlas as their domain.
Ouros and Gia then looked towards one another and loved each other, when their horn touched the first Unicorns were made, then when they touched hooves the first earth ponies were brought into existence, they touched wings and the first Pegasi were born. the two saw this and were proud, they changed their bodies so that their creations could see them and took up new names. Ouros went by Swiftwing and Gia by Naturemane, in these form they ruled for a time. Then Naturemane gave birth to two fillies whom then named Celestia and Luna.
One day, King Swiftwing and Queen Naturemane called their daughters and told them they had to leave and take their places as the heart of the sky and the soul of the earth once more. but they were leaving their daughters with their Royal Advisor a Draconequus named Delphi. For a time Delphi ruled justly but one day he went mad, he changed his name to Discord and cast the sisters out of the kingdom. Celestia and Luna wandered the wastelands for three years until one day they where met with a strange sight two Ponies, a Ent-deer, a Buffalo, a skeletal pony and a phoenix.
This group approached the two sister and the lead pony ,a proud warrior clad in armor, told them that they were sent by their parents to help the sister make Discord pay for his betrayal. the Eight companions travelled to the kingdom and fought against Discord, by the end of the battle Discord had been turned to stone but at a high cost, five out of the eight were mortally wounded and with their dying breaths transformed their souls into five of the six Elements of Harmony, the sister then combined their magic with that of the Phoenix Philomena and created the sixth element. this is how the Land of Equestria came to be ruled by the Royal Sisters.
The next day after all of her classes had been finished for the day Nyx Galloped to Headmaster Yorsets office and knocked on his door.
"Come in" she heard, and she quickly opened the doors with her magic and quietly closed them. "Ah hello Nyx to what do I owe this visit?" he asked.
"Well Professor, I read the first part of the book and it was really good, but I looked through it and it never mentions the first four Alicorns ever again, why is that?" she asked.
"Well my young student, that is because they have never been heard from or seen since and no one knows whether they ever really existed in the first place. Maybe one day, a curious young mind will discover their whereabouts and write a new book about their adventure" the headmaster replied with a wink.
It was cold, but then again it was always cold, what else could he expect? He was in a cell in the Equestrian Asylum, after all it wasn't supposed to be warm, or comfortable, although the padding did make it quite nice to lay down. But the constant noise from the cell next to him made it really hard to sleep.
“I know she will come, my queen will not abandon me, I her faithful servant, I who brought her back from the shreds she was left as. She will come and she will save me and together we will make that filly pay do you hear me Nyx YOU WILL PAY!" Over and over again the stallion in the next cell would repeat that same line day and night without fail.
It was Driving him crazy. “By the eternal, why wont somepony sedate him or do something, I cant take it anymore" Razor muttered to himself.
[no one is gonna do anything and just ignore him he's more mad than a rampaging manticore. (You might as well get used to it cause where gonna be a while ya fucking pansy ass) the voice of his demonic self, Doom Shade, said with in his mind. "Leave me alone Doom, can't you just sleep and let me wallow in my own misery?" he asked himself. Just then he heard the door to his wing open and voices were getting closer, two were voices he recognized, those of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, while the other two were unknown to him.
"Now Nyx, I can understand your curiosity to know about what Spell Nexus has been up to and how he is doing, but I cannot for the life of me understand why you would want to visit him, and on your birthday no less" Princess Luna commented.
"I want to see him because even though he was trying to bring back Nightmare Moon, he did end up creating me.”
Even though it was an accident" one of the unknown voices, an adolescent pony replied.
So that annoying stallions name is Spell Nexus is it, he thought to himself. Wait, I remember hearing about him while I was still in control, so he's the idiot who is next to us. Damn, he has gone completely nuts."
Alright Nyx just don't get to close who knows he may still recognize you even though you have grown up quite a bit since he last saw you five years ago" the other voice a young mare this time.
"OK mom, I'll stay a safe distance away" the filly, Nyx answered.
Wait, he keeps going on about this Nyx, and now she is hear, oh this will not end well, I just know it. “Hey, don't you do anything stupid, remember they think we are just as crazy as he is ,maybe even "Excuse me Princesses, you may not wish to bring that filly anywhere near that stallion, Spell Nexus was it? Anyway, for the past three months I have been in here he has done nothing but go on and on about how his queen will rescue him and together they will have their revenge on this Nyx, whom I presume is that filly with you that seems to go by the same name" he called out with out making a move towards the door.
"Listening in are we Razor? It would appear that old habits really do die hard" Princess Celestia shot back with Venom in her voice.
"I do apologise, but when you have spent three moths listening to a deranged stallion talk of revenge day and night and have no one to talk to, except your 'selves' you tend to relish any voices that you may hear" he replied with nothing but sincerity. Please Luna, we were once friends, it is not a good idea for you to bring that filly and closer."
Just then all the torches in the hall seemed to go out and all light was drained from the room even that which came from the barred windows could not penetrate the darkness, a menacing cackle resounded through the chamber and was followed by a voice resounding with nothing but pure evil.
"Spell Nexus will not be able to see any of you for quite some time seeing as he will be coming to meet me." then all the light poured back into the room, the two princesses galloped as fast as possible to the cell next to Razor's and cursed.
"He's gone, where in Equestria could he have gone? And who was that voice?” Celestia demanded angrily.
"I do not know but we will find out, do not worry sister" Luna said as she tried to sooth her sister's anger.
"can I be of any help my dear Princesses" Razor asked hopefully.
"NO" Celestia said forcefully “you will stay in your cell until the end of your days, which apparently will never come."
"Celestia you know as much as I do that I am the only Pony hear that can even hope to find that stallion and who ever it is that helped him escape" he said with assurance.
"Sister he does have a point, he was the greatest of our blade's before I was banished. He is the only surviving pony with the Phoenix vision ability" Luna commented.
"Yes, yes I guess you are right, OK so be it ,but you will be accompanied by two of our most accomplished Royal Guards, one of my Day Guards and one of Luna's Night Guards." Celestia replied.
"That is fine with me Princess I am just glad to be getting out into the world again". Razor exclaimed happily as Celestia opened his cell door.
As the stallion opened his eyes he could feel his sanity come rushing back, his name was Spell Nexus and he was the faithful leader of the Children of Nightmare, or at least he was. But his plans had been foiled when that unfinished excuse for a clone of Nightmare Moon, Nyx, chose to become a filly again and not rule Equestria as its true queen. Suddenly Nexus realized he was no longer in the dungeon cell he was thrown into and he no longer wore the collar that negated his magic. As he looked around he saw that he was in a dark cavern with seemingly no source of light, yet it wasn't pitch pitch black.
"Hello there Spell Nexus" said a voice from within the darkness, dipped in nothing but anger and cruelty " I am so glad you could join us Mr. Nexus, you see my mate and I are in need of your assistance, and you WILL give it to us whether willingly or not."
"y-yes sir" Nexus replied shakily, he could tell that the owner of the voice was vastly more powerful than his queen and definitely somepony he did not want to anger "w-whatever you want sir. I and my vast magical prowess am at your disposal."
"Good choice, I knew you were just the pony for the job" the voice said Mockingly. "I am Malice" and just then the cavern was flooded with light from a large Mare with a flaming mane and tail
"And that blazing beauty is my mate Misfortune" said an equally large stallion with 5 horns and a flaming tail "We are the Alicorns of darkness and evil, and we welcome you to Tartarus."
"Th-this is Tartarus" Nexus replied shakily "is it usually as dark as it was earlier or is this the normal lighting" he inquired.
"Oh earlier I removed almost all the light using my power of darkness control, but it is usually a little darker than this, my beautiful mate Misfortune is truly the light of this world" Malice answered Chuckling lightly.
"Malice stop playing with the tiny pony and tell him what it is we need of him dear I am starting to get hungry" the blazing mare, Misfortune, said "and we still need to catch our dinner for the night"
"Ah yes forgive me dear I just do love playing but i digress, Nexus you are to Find our children, our son Shadowhoof and our daughter Wildfire. you are then to proceed and bring them here so that we can see them and ask what is taking so long and why they have not taken over all of the world of Atlas yet, they should look just like us except their coloring should be the opposite of our." Malice explained with boredom " but first you will need a new name and a different color scheme befitting a tartarun pony"
suddenly Nexus felt a tingling sensation all over his body, he ran up to the nearest still pool of water and watched his body change, he saw his Cutie Mark dissolve and his original Blueish color fade to a dark grey and he sprouted two extra horns, his mane turned black and his eyes turned an evil yellow/orange color and the whites of his eyes turned black. he looked up towards Malice and in a deep guttural, almost growl said "And what shall my name be Master."
"your name shall from this point on be Dark Grimoire, and you shall be Tartarus' living spell tome" Malice proclaimed with vigor "now go my pawn and find my children and bring them back to me"
"As you wish my master" Grimoire replied bowing to his new lord and in the blink of an eye without needing the use of magic he vanished in an Aura of shadows.
"He seems a little to eager to please you wouldn't you agree my love?" asked Misfortune "how did you accomplish such a feat?”
"it was quite easy, I realized that each time I failed I left one vital part intact, the Cutie Mark that Atlan ponies are known for. The removal of those atrocious Cutie Marks allows me to make them my willing pawns, although it is a very difficult feet of magic to produce, the end result it a perfect soul slave." Malice replied laughing evilly afterward.
"Pray-tell how exactly does that work exactly? because I thought that their Cutie Marks were symbols of their special talents, so how would removing it change their personalities" Misfortune inquired.
"Well since you asked, I learned that after an Atlan pony acquires their Cutie Mark said special talent defines their very lives from that day forth, so removing their cutie mark thus removes the core of their very being, in essence altering their very souls my dear" he answered grinning menacingly.
"Well then my lord, should we not bring more Atlan ponies, that have been locked up by those princesses, here and turn them into an obedient army,? For when we find a spell to allow us to travel to Atlas and conquer it" Misfortune asked with a seductive stare.
"My dear, I do love the way you think" Malice remarked laughing. "We shall start right away and I know just the ponies to start with, Nexus or should I say Grimoire's old allies, the Children of Nightmare." he answered with a malicious laugh as he extinguished all light and all that was left were his glowing yellow eyes, before even they dimmed and turned to darkness.
