Rarity really wants to get Spike something special for Christmas. Time for Blues Clues!
It's Christmas time at Steve's house and everyone at excited for the holidays. But there's one issue with Rarity. She doesn't have a present for Spike! So it's time to play Blues to figure this out!
It was a lovely winter day in Canterlot City and we see Spike walking in the cold winter carrying a present for his girlfriend Rarity. Since it was the holidays he needed to do something nice. He got to his house and his puppy Nature Paw was happy to see him.
"Hey boy. How's my little puppy doing today? Were you good? Yes you were. Yes you were!" Spike cooed.
Then he heard his phone ring. He went to answer it and he got a huge surprise to who it was!
"Hello?" Spike answered.
"Hi Spike! Happy Holidays!" Steve replied.
"Hey Steve! I hadn't heard from you since Thanksgiving. How you been?" Spike asked.
"I've been very well. Thanks for asking. Hey Spike I wondering if you like to come over for a Christmas party I'm planning?" Steve asked.
"Sure! I would love to celebrate Christmas with you!" Spike smiled.
"Great! And your girlfriend Rarity can join us too! See you there buddy!" Steve said hanging up.
"See ya." Spike said hanging up. "Wow a Christmas party? I love Christmas parties! And with Rarity nonetheless! Better get my coat and my girl and head over there!"
So Spike got his coat and made sure he was all ready for the cold weather. Then he told Nature Paw bye and headed out. He took the gift and went to Rarity's. He knocked on her door and she answered it smiling to be her boyfriend here.
"Spikey! How's my boyfriend doing on this cold day?" Rarity asked.
"Lovely. I got you this. And I was wondering if you like to come with me to Steve's for a Christmas party?" Spike asked.
"Oh Spikey. You are so sweet." Rarity said as she kissed him. "I would love to celebrate Christmas with you at Steve's. Shall we my darling?"
"Yes. Let's." Spike said as Rarity giggled and took her arm and led the way. But deep down she was a little sad because she couldn't find a Christmas present for Spike.
The two enjoyed their nice walk and before they knew it they arrived at Steve's house for the party. But soon Rarity will play Blues Clues to figure out a present for Spike.
The two made their way to Steve's front door and when Spike knocked Steve answered it and smiled.
"Happy Holidays! I'm so glad you're here! And Rarity! It's such a joy to see you here too!" Steve smiled.
"Thanks darling and I love how you decorated the place for Christmas. It really draws out the holiday spirit." Rarity commented.
"Thank you. Come on in you two." Steve said.
He let the two in the house and Spike took off his coat and hung it up along with Rarity doing the same. Then another man came in. He wore a green shirt with squares and the same pants Steve had. This was Steve's brother Joe.
"Hey Spike!" Joe smiled.
"Hey Joe! Whatcha doing here?" Spike asked.
"Well since it's the holidays I thought maybe I come by and celebrate Christmas! And you must be Rarity. Spike told me all about you." Joe answered.
"It's very nice to meet you Joe." Rarity said.
Then Blue came out and barked happy seeing Spike and Rarity.
"Blue darling! It's always nice to see you again!" Rarity smiled.
"Well this is a nice family reunion. Now Spike would you and Joe like to see the goodies me and my friends made for the party?" Steve asked.
"Sure Steve." Spike answered.
"Come on Spike. Lemme show you what sweet treats we got for the party." Joe said as the two left to the kitchen.
With Steve and Rarity he noticed that she had a sad look on her face.
"Is something wrong Rarity? You don't look very happy." Steve asked.
"If you must know I do love the fact that Spikey got me a present but I hadn't managed to get him something for Christmas. And I don't wanna break his heart." Rarity explained.
"Don't worry Rarity. Im sure we can help you find something." Steve said as Blue barked knowing she has the answer.
"Blue! You know what Christmas present Rarity can get Spike?" Steve said as Blue nodded yes.
"That's great darling! So what is it?" Rarity asked.
Blue then went to the screen and placed a blue paw print on it. Rarity and Steve went to it realizing what Blue meant: Time for a holiday game of Blues Clues!
"Of course! We'll play Blues Clues to figure out what Christmas present Rarity can get Spike! I love that game!" Steve said.
"Me too darling." Rarity said as the both of them sang.
"So remember Rarity. Blue's pawprints will be on the clues." Steve told her.
"Blues Clues." Rarity noted.
"That's right. Now we just need to get this pawprint off and...." Steve said touching the pawprint which caused it to turn into snowflakes.
"Wow. Even the pawprint is in the holiday spirit." Rarity noticed.
"It sure is Rarity. Now you know what we need for Blues Clues. Our handy dandy..." Steve said.
"Notebook!" The reader replied.
"Notebook! Right! Let's go get it!" Steve said as he and Rarity went to Cy-Table Drawer.
"Hey guys. I heard Rarity needed to think of a Christmas present for Spike. Well lucky for you I have the notebooks you need to figure out the answer." Cy-Table responded.
She opened her drawer and they got out two Christmas style notebooks.
"Wow! It's almost like everything is in the holiday spirit. But you know I'm gonna need your help figuring what Christmas present I can give my Spikey." Rarity noticed.
"Will you help us? You will? Great!" Steve responded.
"So now that we got our notebooks. Let's play Blues Clues." Rarity said as a song started playing.
The both of them sang as Blue danced along too. At the end of the song the both said 'That we wanna do.' And like that ends the song.
"Ok. It's time to look for Blues Clues so we can figure out what Christmas present Rarity can get Spike. Let's go." Steve said as he and Rarity headed to the right. And thus starts Blues Clues!
The two were looking for the clues as they passed a bookshelf. Then one of the books came off the shelf and turns out it had a pawprint on it meaning it's a clue!
"Hmm. I wonder what present you can get Spike?" Steve asked.
"I wonder the same thing Steve." Rarity noted.
"A clue! A clue!" The reader told them.
"No I can't give Spike a clue for Christmas. He deserves something more special since I'm his girlfriend." Rarity responded.
"First a rectangle for the cover, and then some lines for the back. And then a few more to represent the pages and there a book." Steve replied.
"Wonderful drawing. So were trying to figure out what Christmas present I can give Spike. And the first clue was a book." Rarity said as the image flew above her. "So what Christmas present can I get Spike with a book?"
"What do you think? Yeah I think we better find two more clues to figure this out." Steve noted.
"Steve. Can you help me?" A voice rang.
"That sounded like Tickety Tock. Let's see what she needs." Steve said.
The two made their way to the table where they see a pink clock trying to do something with folded paper.
"Hi Tickety." Steve introduced.
"Hey Steve. Hey Rarity." Tickety introduced back.
"How do you know my name darling?" Rarity asked.
"Easy. Spike told me all about you. Anyways I need help. I'm trying to make paper snowflakes and I can't remember what shape to cut on each one. Can you help?" Tickety asked.
"Would you help Tickety figure out what shape she can cut? Terrific. Alright Tickety we can help you." Steve answered.
"Thanks. The first one I want to cut is a round shape." Tickety said.
"Do you know what shape is round?" Steve asked.
"A circle!" The reader answered.
"Yeah! A circle! Cause circles are round! Good work!" Steve complimented.
Then Tickety cut out many circles and presented the first snowflake. Now time for the second one.
"Ok the second one I want to cut is a shape with four equal sides." Tickety replied.
"Can you figure out what shape has four equal sides?" Steve asked.
"A square!" The reader answered.
"Yeah! A square! And you know that's Joe's favorite shape of all. Nice job!" Steve smiled.
Then Tickety cut out many squares and presented the second snowflake. Now on to the final one.
"Ok the final shape for the last snowflake I want to cut is a three sided shape." Tickety responded.
"Do you know what shape is three sided?" Steve asked.
"A triangle!" The reader answered.
"Oh yeah. A triangle. Cause that has three sides. Nice work!" Steve said.
Then Tickety cut out many triangles and represented the final snowflake. And finally all three snowflakes were completed.
"The snowflakes! They're all done! Thanks for your help!" Tickety replied.
"You're welcome. Happy Holidays." Steve smiled.
"Hey Steve. We still need to find two more clues so I can figure out what Christmas present I can give Spike." Rarity reminded him.
"Oh your absolutely right. Let's go." Steve said as they headed off to find the next two clues to get the answer.
The two headed into the living room and in the bedroom where they passed a crafting table. Rarity admired the crafts that Steve's friends were making. But she didn't see the glue stick with the pawprint on it meaning it's a clue!
"Wow. I absolutely love the details on this holiday craft. It's gorgeous." Rarity commented.
"A clue!" The reader told her.
"Oh you see a clue? Is on one of this crafting supplies? Great! Is it on this scissors?" Rarity asked.
"No." The reader answered.
"Oh. Well where is it then?" Rarity wondered.
"Right there." The reader responded.
Rarity then looked on the glue stick and found the clue!
"A glue stick is kinda cylinder shaped. Another one for the top and bottom and a drop in the middle representing the glue. And there a glue stick." Steve said.
"Great! So were trying to figure out what Christmas present I can give Spike. The first clue was a book. Now the second clue is a glue stick. So what Christmas present can I get Spike with a book and a glue stick?" Rarity asked as the images flew above.
They kept thinking about what the answer could be but still didn't know what it is.
"I still don't know what Christmas present would be perfect for Spikey." Rarity worried as the images flew back in.
"It's all right. There's still one clue left to find." Steve reminded her.
"Steve! We need help!" A male voice said.
"Looks like Mr Salt needs our help. Let's go." Rarity noticed as the two headed into the kitchen.
They saw Mr Salt, Mrs Pepper and Paprika trying to finish a holiday cake but are having trouble.
"Hey Mr Salt. Need help with the cake?" Steve asked.
"Yes we sure do. We need to finish making the cake. But we lost track on the patterns. Could you help us?" Paprika said.
"We can certainly help you out. Alright so the first layer has candy cane stripes and snowflakes in a pattern. It goes candy cane, snowflake, candy cane, snowflake, candy cane. Do you know what comes next?" Rarity asked.
"Snowflake!" The reader answered.
"Good job! That's next in the pattern." Rarity said as Mr Salt placed a snowflake on. "Ok the next layer has gingerbread men and ornaments. The pattern goes gingerbread, ornament, gingerbread, ornament, gingerbread. You know what comes next?" Rarity asked.
"Ornament!!" The reader answered.
"Nice work! The ornament is next!" Rarity said as Mr Salt placed a ornament candy on there. "Ok last one. The pattern has Snowmen and Santa. It goes Santa, Snowman, Santa, Snowman, Santa. What comes next?" Rarity asked.
"Snowman!!" The reader answered.
"Snowman! You are so right! Good work!" Rarity said as Mr Salt placed a snow man on the cake and finally was complete.
"The cake is finished!! Thanks for your help Rarity!" Mr Salt said.
"Your very welcome darling. Now Steve we gotta find the last clue." Rarity told him.
"I haven't forgotten about that. Thanks for reminding me." Steve smiled as they heard a song playing.
"The mail's here! Come on Rarity!" Steve said as he and Rarity went to the living room and sang along to the song. After that Mailbox came in and the two sat in the Thinking Chair.
"Hey you two. I got a special Christmas letter for you." Mailbox replied as he opened the lid and Steve took out a holiday decorated card.
"Thanks Mailbox." Steve smiled.
"Your welcome." Mailbox replied and left.
"We just got a letter!" Steve said as he started singing again.
When he finished he opened the letter and saw that it was from Twilight! Rarity was happy to see that.
"Look! It's a letter from Twilight!" Rarity beamed.
In the letter
"Hi Rarity. I hope you and Spike are enjoying your Christmas. I know I am. And you know Christmas is celebrated all around the world and in their cultures and traditions. Like the Jewish people celebrate Hanukkah where they light pretty candles, In Japan, celebrating Christmas is still relatively new. It's only been widely recognized for the past couple of decades, and is typically seen as a time to spread joy and cheer, or even a romantic couple's day, instead of a religious holiday. And there's so much more people celebrating Christmas in their cultures. Well I gotta go. Bye Rarity!" Twilight replied.
Out of the letter
"Bye Twilight. Thanks again." Rarity said as Steve closed the letter and placed it down.
"Wow. I never knew that Christmas was celebrated all around the world. That's cool. But we still need to find the last clue so Rarity can get Spike his Christmas present. Let's go." Steve said as he and Rarity headed out to find the clue.
Then the two sang the skidoo song and jumped right in the creation. Once in they looked around seeing all sorts of winter decorated stuff.
"Oh my word! This really is a winter wonderland! Let's go look around!" Rarity beamed.
"I agree. Let's look around this amazing place!" Steve said.
So the two began looking around to see everything that the winter wonderland had to offer and on their way they encountered three snow people. All of them were happy to see them.
"Why hello there! I'm Frosty the Snowman!"
"And we are the Snowette Twins Crystal and Glacier!"
Steve and Rarity saw them and smiled.
"Nice to meet you Frosty and Snowettes. Whatcha doing right here?" Steve asked.
"Well we were practicing our song of Frosty himself but we can't remember the rhymes. Think you can help us?" Crystal replied.
"Will you help them remember the rhymes? Great. We be glad to help you." Rarity answered.
"Wonderful! All you need to do is figure out what rhymes with the word and complete the song." Frosty told him.
"Gotcha. Ok so the first missing word needs to rhyme with 'soul'. Do you know what rhymes with 'soul'?" Steve asked.
"Coal!" The reader answered.
"Yeah coal does rhyme with soul! Good work!" Steve replied.
"Ok my turn. Ooh. So the next word that needs to rhyme is 'found'. Do you know what rhymes with 'found'?" Rarity asked.
"Around!" The reader answered.
"Yes! Cause found and around rhyme! Nice work!" Rarity smiled.
"Ok there's one more word and we'll be done. Alright so the last word that needs to rhyme is something with 'cop'. Do you know what rhymes with 'cop'?" Steve wondered.
"Stop!" The reader answered.
"Yeah! Because cop and stop rhyme! Good job! Here's your song guys." Steve said giving them the song back.
"Thanks Steve. Now we can sing! Hit it guys!" Crystal replied and everyone started singing.
They were all singing and the duo loved hearing that song. After they finished they clapped for them and Rarity praised for the song.
"Wonderful darlings! That was great! But we gotta head back cause we got one clue left to find." Rarity noted.
"Oh you are so right. Let's go." Steve said as they headed off.
The two went back and found the living room creation and skidooed back home. Once the two landed a picture of Rarity and Spike came floating down with a pawprint on it meaning it's a clue!
"A clue! A clue!" The reader told them.
"Yes darling that Winter Wonderland was possibly divine. I enjoyed it so much." Rarity said.
"No a clue." The reader replied.
"Oh you see a clue? Where?" Rarity asked.
"On the picture!" The reader answered.
Then they saw the picture and realized that it was a clue!
"Oh look at that! There's a clue! And it's on this picture." Steve said.
"Oh that was when me and Spike went on our first date as a couple. But now that we found the clue we better write it down in our handy dandy..." Rarity said.
"Notebook!" The reader answered.
"Notebook! Right!" Steve said as he and Rarity got their notebooks out once more. "So let's draw this picture."
"So we'll start by drawing a square for the photo and another one but smaller. Then I'll use my green crayon to draw Spike, and I'll use my purple crayon to draw you Rarity. And there. This picture."
"Steve. We got all three clues to figure out what Christmas present I can give Spike!" Rarity said happy.
"Your right! You know what that means? We're ready for our..." Steve asked.
"Thinking Chair!!" The reader answered.
"Thinking Chair! Right! Come on!!" Steve said as he and Rarity ran to the Thinking Chair to figure out the answer.
The two kept running to the Thinking Chair and once they got there the both of them sat down.
"Okay now that were in our Thinking Chair...let's think." Steve said as he and Rarity got the notebooks out. "So were trying to figure out what Christmas present Rarity can get Spike. And the clues are a book..."
"And this picture. So what Christmas present can Rarity get Spike with a book, a glue stick, and this picture?" Steve wondered as the two started thinking. They thought for a while til Rarity had an idea.
"Well. Maybe the present is something that has to do with the book. And maybe I can use the glue stick to place the picture in the book. And picture can represent a memory. But what Christmas present would that be?" Rarity asked as the clues connected like a puzzle and formed the answer.
"A memory book!" The reader answered.
"A memory book. Yes that's it! Cause that is a kind of book and you use the glue stick to place the pictures in to remember the memories you made!" Steve said.
"Blue darling!" Rarity said as Blue came out. "Should my Christmas present to Spike be a memory book?"
Blue nodded yes and we all know what that means!
"We just figured out Blues Clues!!" Steve and Rarity said together. They got up and sang the song.
"Alright Rarity. You make Spike that memory book and then we can start the party!" Steve said.
"Okay darling!" Rarity nodded as she got to work.
After a few minutes she completed the memory book for Spike and right on cue he and Joe came into the living room.
"Hey Rarity. You should have seen all the treats they're were. And don't worry I'm gonna save you some to try." Spike responded.
"Thanks darling and I made you this. I couldn't wait til Christmas so please enjoy it." Rarity said giving Spike the memory book.
He looked in the book and saw all the memories he and Rarity made. Especially his favorite when he saw the one with them on their first date. He smiled at her.
"You made this for me? Rarity. I don't know what to say. I love it." Spike cried happy.
"I'm glad you like it darling. I wanted you to remember all the memories we made as a couple. So I made this." Rarity explained.
"Thank you Rarity." Spike said hugging her.
Steve and Joe smiled and through out the rest of the day everyone has been enjoying the party. Then afterwards Spike, Rarity and Joe had to hurry back home. But they waved goodbye to Steve hoping that they will see him again next time. Steve closed the door and went to the readers.
"Thank you so much for all your help today. I think you are showing Christmas spirit a lot." Steve responded as he sang one last time.
After he finished singing he said 'That we wanna do'.
"Bye see ya later! Merry Christmas! And Happy Holidays!" Steve said as the door closed and we zoom out from Steve's house. And that ends the Christmas special of Blues Clues. Merry Christmas!!
