It's Thanksgiving! Time for Spike and Steve to play Blues Clues!
On Thanksgiving Spike was invited for dinner by Steve. But when he noticed that the dessert wasn't there they have to play Blues Clues to figure it out!
One fall day in the city of Canterlot we see Spike who is now 17 years old and feeding his dog Nature Paw that he got for his birthday. He finished getting his food ready and called him.
"Nature Paw! Here boy!" Spike said.
The green dog ran to his food and dug right in eating. Spike chuckled from his silly antics and heard a knock on his front door. He wondered who that could be. He finally got to the front door, opened it and to his surprise it was his girlfriend Rarity with a letter in her hand.
"Spikey! Im so happy to see you." Rarity said.
"Me too babe." Spike said as they shared a kiss. "What's that you got there?"
"Well Spike it's A invite from Steve. He wanted you and me to join him for Thanksgiving dinner. Are you willing to go with me?" Rarity asked.
"You kidding? Yes I would love to join you for Thanksgiving dinner." Spike said.
"Wonderful darling. I'll meet you back at your door at 5pm. Make sure you dress nice ok?" Rarity said.
"Sure Rares. See you then." Spike said as Rarity left.
Spike smiled seeing that he was going to celebrate his first Thanksgiving with his girlfriend.
The sun begin to set and in the house we see Spike in a nice green shirt with a black jacket on brushing his hair. He was getting ready for the big date. Then he heard a knock on his front door and petted Nature Paw goodbye. He answered the door and saw Rarity in a nice purple dress with diamonds decorated all over. He smiled at her beauty.
"Rarity. You look beautiful." Spike said.
"Thank you. And you are very handsome." Rarity said.
"Thanks. Shall we head out?" Spike said.
"Yes my darling. Let us go." Rarity said as Spike took her hand and walked out closing the door.
They walked to Steve's house where they will be having Thanksgiving dinner. Spike loved hanging out with Steve cause the time he met him he learned to play Blues Clues. Now with Rarity he can still hang with him but he wanted to make sure that she gets some time to spend with him. They saw Steve's house and went to it. But Spike knew that later on he will be playing Blues Clues.
Spike and Rarity finally got to Steve's front door and Spike knocked on it. The door opened and we see Steve opening the door and smiling seeing the two arrive for Thanksgiving.
"Spike! Rarity! Im so glad you made it! Your just in time!" Steve said.
"Thanks bud. And im glad you invited us for Thanksgiving." Spike said.
"Im glad I did too. Come on in." Steve said as he allowed the two inside. "I hope you like how I decorated the place. And dinner will be ready shortly."
"I love how you made the table so autumn like. I could get some ideas for a fall based fashion line." Rarity said.
"Thank you. Now make yourselves at home. I'll go check on the turkey." Steve said heading to the kitchen.
"I am so glad that we are spending Thanksgiving together. But the real dinner's tomorrow so were making this one count. Right Spikey?" Rarity said.
"Right you are babe." Spike said as he saw Blue coming up to him. She barked hello.
"Hey Blue. It sure has been a while hasn't it?" Spike said.
Blue then asked if she can sit next to him while he sits with Rarity.
"Of course Blue. What friend would I be if I didn't allow you to sit next to me?" Spike said making Blue happy.
But then Steve came back in the living room and had a worried look on his face. That made Spike and Rarity worried as well when they saw him.
"Steve? Is something wrong?" Rarity said.
"Um. Yes. But would you go see how the other dishes are doing? The turkey isn't ready yet." Steve said.
"Of course darling but tell us what's wrong." Rarity said.
"Alright. I was so busy preparing the meals for Thanksgiving that I forgot to make dessert." Steve said.
Spike and Rarity gasped hearing that.
"Well. Um I will check on the other dishes and I leave you some time to think about what dessert to make." Rarity said heading into the kitchen.
"Steve what will we do?! We can't have Thanksgiving dinner without dessert!" Steve said.
"I know, I know. But I can't decide what to make! What will we do?" Steve said as Blue barked knowing she has the answer.
"Blue! You know what dessert we can make?" Spike said as Blue nodded yes.
"Great! Well what is it?" Steve said.
Blue then went to the screen and placed a blue paw print on it. Spike and Steve went to it realizing what Blue meant: Time for a Thanksgiving game of Blues Clues!
"Of course! We'll play Blues Clues to figure out what dessert we can make for Thanksgiving! I love that game!" Steve said.
"Me too Steve." Spike said as they started singing.
"So remember. Blues paw prints will be on the clues. Blues Clues." Steve said.
"Now we need to get rid of the paw print. Maybe blowing on it?" Spike said as he took a deep breath and blew on the paw print which turned into leaves.
"Nice Spike. You know what we need for Blues Clues? Are handy dandy..." Steve said.
"Notebook!!" The reader said.
"Notebook right! And it's A good thing I always carry mine with me." Spike said taking out his notebook.
"I better get mine." Steve said as he went to Cy-Table.
"Hey Steve. I hope you are ready for Thanksgiving. Here's your notebook." Cy-Table said.
Steve got it out and was all ready for Blues Clues. Then the two started singing.
"We'll draw a line going around just like this. And there a circle." Steve said drawing it.
"So our first clue is a circle." Spike said as the image flew above him. "So what dessert could we make to complete Thanksgiving dinner with a circle?"
"We'll draw a squiggly line like this. And a curve like that and there. Some dough." Steve said.
"So our first clue was a circle." Spike said as the image flew above him. "Now our second clue is dough. So what dessert could we make to complete Thanksgiving dinner with a circle and dough?"
"The mail's here! Come Spike!" Steve said as the two started singing. After the song Mailbox came in and was ready to deliver the mail. Then they went and sat in the Thinking Chair.
"Hey guys. Happy Thanksgiving." Mailbox said.
"Happy Thanksgiving to you too Mailbox." Steve said.
"Thanks. Here's your letter." Mailbox said as Steve took an orange letter out.
"We just got a letter!" Spike said as they sang again. After the song they opened the letter and to Spike's surprise it was from Fluttershy.
"Look! It's A letter from Fluttershy." Spike said as they listened to what she had to say.
(In the letter) "Hi Spike. I hope you are having a happy Thanksgiving with Rarity and Steve. I know I am. My family is in town and we are having dinner at my house. You know it's nice when you can celebrate with the ones you care for. And my brother Zephyr is here too but he decided to be on his best behavior with the family. Right Zephyr?" Fluttershy said.
"Yes sis. I know I was a jerk before but I wanted to make amends and not ruin the occasion." Zephyr said.
"Good. That's my brother. Well Spike I gotta go. But again Happy Thanksgiving." Fluttershy said.
(Out of the letter)
"Happy Thanksgiving Flutters." Spike said as Steve closed the letter.
"Wow. That was so nice of her. Reminding us that with friends and family makes Thanksgiving special." Steve said.
"Yes. Now let's find Blue. Maybe she knows where the last clue is." Spike said as they took off finding Blue to seek the last clue.
They landed inside the book and looked around seeing that everything is a fall theme and they loved the scenery.
"Wow. This is lovely. It just screams Thanksgiving." Spike said.
They walked around seeing all the fall colors and loving the the details. Then they saw two people standing under a red leaf tree. Both were male and had red hair and all the colors of fall.
"Hello. We are the Autumn Bros." One said.
"Im Jake. And this is Sam."
"Nice to meet you Autumn Bros. What are you doing?" Steve said.
"We are making a leaf collection for our parents but we were having trouble sorting out the leaves. Think you help?" Jake said.
"Would you help the Autumn Bros sort out these leaves? Great. Alright guys what do we need to do?" Steve said.
"We gotta sort out the leaves by what color they are. We already got the piles ready so all you have to do is match them." Sam said.
"I think we can handle that." Spike said as he took a yellow leaf. "Ok. So we have a yellow leaf. So which pile does this leaf go in?"
We three leaf piles and each one is a different color. One red, one orange, and one yellow.
"That one!" The reader said as the yellow pile shook.
"Yeah! Cause that pile has yellow leaves. Good job!" Spike said as he put it in the pile.
Then Steve took out three orange leaves. "Alright. So now we have three orange leaves. They look pretty. So which pile do they go?" Steve said.
"That one!" The reader said as the orange pile shook.
"Look at that. Your right! Cause that pile has lots of orange leaves. Good job." Steve said as he put them in the pile.
Then Spike got two red leaves. "Alright. Now we have two red leaves. So what pile does it go in?" Spike said.
"That one right there!" The reader said as the red pile shook.
"Yeah. Cause that pile has lots of red leaves! Nice job! We sorted all the leaves." Spike said as he put them in the pile.
"Thanks for helping!" Jake said.
"Your welcome. Come on Spike." Steve said as they headed off.
They continue walking til they passed a pumpkin patch. But one of them had a paw print on it meaning that it's a clue!!
"A clue! A clue!" The reader said.
"Yeah. Those leaf piles are so cool. Really gave a nice fall theme." Steve said.
"No a clue." The reader said.
"Oh. Oh you see a clue? Here in the book of fall? Where?" Spike said.
"Right there!" The reader said.
They looked on the pumpkins but didn't see it.
"We don't see it. Where is it?" Steve said.
"It's right there!!" The reader said.
They looked on the pumpkin with the paw print on it and realized what they said.
"So what dessert could we make to complete Thanksgiving dinner with a circle, some dough and a pumpkin?" Steve said as he and Spike started thinking. Then Spike got an idea.
"Well. Maybe this dessert is something that is shaped like a circle." Spike said.
"Yeah. And im thinking that it uses the dough and the pumpkin." Steve said.
"Good thinking. So what dessert is shaped like a circle and uses dough and a pumpkin?" Spike said as the clues connected like a puzzle and formed the answer.
"Pumpkin pie!!" The reader said.
"Pumpkin pie! Yes that's it cause that is shaped like a circle and uses dough and a pumpkin for the filling!" Steve said.
"We just figured out Blues Clues!!" Spike said adds they started singing.
"Come on Spike! Let's make that pumpkin pie!" Steve said.
They went to the kitchen and saw Rarity taking out a fresh baked pumpkin pie.
"Hey boys. I heard the news! So I made this pumpkin pie!" Rarity said.
"Nice job Rarity! Now we can have dinner at last." Steve said.
Everyone went to the table, called everyone and sat down. They all said their prayers and began eating. They were enjoying the feast that was prepared including the turkey. After dinner was over everyone gets up and Spike and Rarity were about to leave but after they said goodbye to Steve.
"That was a wonderful meal. Thanks for inviting us Steve." Rarity said.
"Your welcome. You two have a Happy Thanksgiving." Steve said.
"You as well Steve. See ya later." Spike said as he and Rarity left heading home and Steve smiled shutting the door. Then he went to the readers.
"Thank you so much for all your help today. I hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving too." Steve said as he sang one more time.
