The dark Canterlot alleyway held a strong fog, unknown liquids funneled down pipes landing in puddles. The sky was dark and very little light echoed in the narrow passageway. A happy hum to the music of a birthday song began to fill the dark alley as a pink party pony joyfully bounced down it with a small plastic box holding a delicious pie. Suddenly a door opens and the bright orange light flooded the surroundings.

"Um, hello?" Pinkie called, tilting her head curiously.

"Please... Ente-" *COUGH* "rr!" a cloaked store pony gestured inside.

"Alrighty, but are you okay Mr. Shady Pony?" Pinkie bounced inside and turned to the store owner.

"I'm-" *COUGH* "fine, the alleyway just triggers my allergies," he states as he begins clearing out his throat.

"That's not very fun, why do you have a store in an alley anyways?" Pinkie darted around the room touching everything.

"Its cheap rent. But now you are probably wondering why I asked you here," the stallion smirked crookedly. "Please buy something, the land lord will be here tomorrow and I need some bits," he began to beg as he threw himself to Pinkie's hooves.

"Okay!" Pinkie's smile grew, she jumped from item to item and inspected them closely. Finally, the party pony saw a pie and threw herself to the product with wide eyes. "NO WAY!" Pinkie held the pie. "This is the exact same weight as my pie, same packaging too. PIE TWINS! How much?" Pinkie turned to the shop owner.

"Six bits, would you like to hear the items description?" he asked almost smiling.

"Sure," Pinkie nodded.

A large grin cracked on the shopkeepers face and the party pony's smile grew too.

"The PONYNOMICON! It’s said if you peer into this book that you shall learn the ancient threads that hold all of reality, ONLY FOR TWELVE BITS!" he announced full of pride.

"Shop keep! I think you are talking about the book over there with the pony face stretched across it," Pinkie said politely.

"Oh," he blushed slightly. *COUGH* "The LOVE PIE! It has been told that the Pie's eyes bring out a lovely surprise... Something, something, something, AND words of truth may break the spell."

"I'm sold! Do you accept credit?" Pinkie smirked.

The moon lay dormant in the sky above, the quite night air rudely interrupted by a rushing of train wheels on a track. Not many ponies where on the train and even fewer were awake. Pinkie Pie found a secluded area on the train after noticing all the sleeping ponies on board. She sat the two identical pies in the seat next to her before opening her window. The continual sound of the wheels turning and the cold wind blowing on her face made her smirk.

"The cold breeze, the quite air, I forget how fun night is sometimes," Pinkie giggled but quickly stopped as she smiled wholeheartedly.

The party pony's eyes eventually fell to the two pies then her normally absent mind filled with the thought of the sweet pastries touching her starving mouth. She quickly looked away hoping to forget but it wasn't long before her eyes landed on the pies once more.

"No, no, no, no!" she started. "I can't eat them, I told my friends that I would bring a ultra delicious pie to our next picnic," Pinkie held her head between her hooves.

Pinkie Pie looked back to the two pastries.

"A ultra delicious pie..."

The train began to slow, then coming to a complete stop. Pinkie yawned and stretched before picking up her one pie. She trotted up to her window and lowered it down. Pinkie gave herself a long stare in the reflection.

"Umm... My pupils are normally blue..."

A lavender unicorn rested on her wooden floor, the books surrounding her supplied a nice pillow. Yet the unicorn's ears began twitching.

"TWILIGHT, TWILIGHT, ARE YOU AWAKE!?"

Her body finally started waking up but she felt a wave of tiredness begin to challenge her. She forced herself to the door and opened it in a yawn.

"Pinkie?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Of course, who else bothers you in the middle of the night. Wait, it’s the eyes isn't it?" Pinkie began to freak out on the porch.

"No, sorry, I just wasn't expecting you. What's this about your ey-" Twilight's heart skipped a beat as the party pony looked into her eyes.

"I ate a magic pie then poof, next thing I know my pupils were pink. You missed it, I freaked out, then after calming down I came here, also I ran home and put away a different pie," Pinkie explained.

Twilight quickly turned her back on the pink pony, her pupils darting throughout the room as she began to blush.

"Twilight? Are you okay?" Pinkie began entering the tree.

"Y-Yeah, let me clean myself up a bit, make yourself at home," the unicorn said quickly as her horn cast a teleportation spell.

"That was odd. Normally Twilight doesn't leave me alone with her books," Pinkie smiled mischievously.

After some time, the lavender unicorn reentered the room to find a small fort built out of her books. The pink party pony exited the small fort to gather more book in a hop.

"You built this in just a few minutes?" Twilight asked, shocked.

"Nope, you were gone for about an hour. Please don't be mad," Pinkie rubbed the back of her head in guilt.

"Oh, it’s okay Pinkie," Twilight smiled.

"I know... Wait, it is?" the party pony asked.

"Yeah, I um, have to reorganize anyways," the unicorn lied.

"Hold on, are you wearing a ponytail? I knew you would look awesome in it! You finally took my advice!" Pinkie clapped with a wide grin.

Twilight began hiding her face as she held her hair.

"Oh! Twilight! Do you want to take the tour of the book fort?" Pinkie jumped.

The unicorn only nodded while avoiding eye contact. Both ponies entered the small book fort, they were shoulder to shoulder, sitting upright. The party pony turned her head to the unicorn and a blushing Twilight turned to her friend; both of their muzzles began touching. The unicorn wanted to turn and hide her red face but she also wanted to stay here forever while her friend has never had the concept of personal space.

"This is the kitchen, bedroom, living room, master bedroom-" Pinkie continued.

Twilight didn't listen, her mind too busy. Pinkie's scent began to strangle her, the pink eyes gazing deep into her own. Her heartbeat tripled, racing like it never had. The Pie started caused the unicorn to melt away.

"Twilight? Twilight? Are you okay?"

*SPLASH*

"HUH!? WHAT?!" Twilight shot up.

"Twilight are you okay? You were knocked out cold... Well, I should say 'knocked out hot'," Pinkie asked as seriously as the party pony could while holding a water bucket on her head.

"P-Pinkie?" Twilight began blushing again. "How much of that did we- Pinkie when did I pass out?" Twilight's face only grew more red.

"When we were in the book fort, why? Is something wrong?" the party pony asked worriedly.

The unicorn relaxed slightly, letting out a sigh of relief. "Everything is fine Pinkie, sorry my imagination has been in overdrive today," Twilight smiled lightheartedly.

"Oh, no problem! My imagination is always in overdrive," the pink pony giggled. "What's in your imagination?"

*COUGH COUGH* "Oh, nothing! Just books and... More books," the unicorn faked a smile.

"Oh jeez! Now you are coughing too, I didn't expect the allergens to follow me all the way back," Pinkie frowned.

"No, i-it’s not allergies or anything like that," Twilight responded, not meeting eye contact.

"Then what is it? Maybe I can help?" the party pony dashed up to her friend with a gentle smile.

Twilight once again turned away while blushing, not knowing how to respond. "Um, so did you need me to look at your eyes?" she attempted to change the subject.

"Sure! I'm mostly over it now but I still want my blue eyes back," the pink pony stated.

"I should have some medical devices in the basement for a general checkup," Twilight thought aloud.

"Oki doki loki!"

The unicorn lead the way while the earth pony bounced behind her. The large yet claustrophobic basement of the tree held many scattered papers with many machines and even more blinking bulbs. Their hooves in the cellar gave off small echoes as they moved throughout. Twilight took out a stethoscope and placed the cold bell across Pinkies chest.

*Lub-Dub Lub-Dub Lub-Dub Lub-Dub*

"Your heartbeats good," the unicorn stated almost sadly. She gave the pink party horse a thermometer and she bit it through the levitation spell.

"So... Pinkie, do have any plans tomorrow?" Twilight asked slowly, glancing up from her medical sheet.

"Nope!" She answered enthusiastically. "Why? do ya hath thomething fun planed?"

"Yeah, there was a new pastry shop opening nearby. I was wondering if you wanted to go?" Twilight hid in her sheets, scared of rejection.

"Thoundths like fun! Thould I invite the otherths?" Pinkie asked childishly.

"I was sort of hoping it would just be the two of us... Does that make sense?"

Pinkie put her hoof over Twilights papers and pushed them out of the way while she moved her head close to her friends, the unicorns face turned beet red and Pinkie grew a large smile.

"Yep!" she blurted. The thermometer gave a light *Beep* and Pinkie took it out of her mouth. "One hundred degrees Fahrenheit," the party pony stated before hitting the reset button on the device and putting it in Twilight's mouth. "I think you need this more than me," Pinkie grinned.

The unicorn felt like melting again as she lost balance in her hooves. Her pupils turning into small hearts. She felt her friend's saliva swirling inside her mouth, yet a large portion of her brain told her she was creepy for enjoying it. Then her mind officially broke once her brain processed the fact that Pinkie said 'yes' to her date. Twilight dropped to the floor in a *THUD* and the broken thermometer fell from the unicorn's mouth.

"Good idea on scoping out the new pastry shop Twilight, we might be able to trade some secret recipes," Pinkie schemed. "But first lets... Twilight?"

Spike entered the main library room with a yawn and saw a bright pink pony leave the basement.

"Pinkie Pie, what's with all the racket, it’s hardly turning morning," Spike asked in his pajamas.

"Oh, hi Spike. Twilight was attempting to look at my eyes but she kind of passed out... Again. I'm just getting another water bucket," Pinkie rubbed the back of her head with a smirk.

"Whoa! Your pupils are different, what happened?" Spike stared at the pony's different colored eyes.

"I ate a pie. Hey Spike, has Twilight been acting weird lately? She has been acting like she's a filly going to ask a colt to be her special some pony," Pinkie questioned as she threw the bucket on her head.

Spike hummed to himself. "Not that I know of, I don't think Twilight has ever had a crush before. Well, unless you count her books. I think I have a pretty good idea on how she will start acting if she ever finds a pony she likes," Spike humbled himself.

"Oh, do tell!" Pinkie giggled.

"You see I have read all the romance books Twilight has," the humble Spike realized what he said. "Um, anyways, she would probably blush a lot and hide her face. She isn't the most outgoing of ponies after all and she isn't the best about controlling her emotions."

Pinkie listened intently, nodding frequently.

"She probably would ask them on a date to her special pony's favorite type of place, its listed in almost every book that we have read. So, like, if someone asked Rarity out then the date would be at a fashion show or a clothing shop in Canterlot," Spike blushed slightly.

"Anything else?" Pinkie questioned.

"Yeah, the biggest one would probably be; not getting mad or upset if her crush ruined her organization. Sometimes she gets mad at herself for that," Spike stated.

Pinkie and Spike both looked to their side to see the small book fort. The dragon slowly turned back to the pink pony.

"Did you say yes?" Spike asked plainly.

"I didn't know it was a date," Pinkie responded blankly staring at the book fort.

"What are you going to do?"

"WHAT SHOULD I DO?!" the party pony picked up the baby dragon and shook him. Pinkie began to blush, brightening her pink face.

"Um, maybe go on the date?" Spike suggested timidly.

"I-I don't know... I can't hurt her feelings and it’s not like I want to say no," Pinkie dropped the dragon and darted around the room.

"If you don't want to say no then why don't you say yes?" Spike questioned.

"Because I don't know if this is how she truly feels or not, the pie I ate was magic Spike, a magic PIE! I can't even consider going on a date with Twilight until my eyes return to normal," Pinkie spoke frantically.

"Well, I haven't fallen in love with you," Spike shrugged.

"Right but the spell might not work on dragons, or boys, or boy dragons," the pink pony dashed around the book fort.

"Pinkie Pie, please calm down. I think it would pretty awesome if you dated Twi," Spike smiled.

"Really?" the pink blur slowed.

"Yeah, I mean, it would be like getting another big sister!" Spike beamed.

The party pony stopped with an awkward grin. "Spike, I would love to have you as a little brother but I couldn't, at least until I know for sure if it has nothing to do with the pie," Pinkie gave the dragon a lighthearted smile.

"I understand, so, what are you going to do about the date? She would be devastated if you backtracked on that," Spike asked.

"I really don't know yet; can you act like I was never here?" Pinkie questioned.

"Can do!" Spike saluted.

"Thanks, I'll bake you the best gem cake when this is all over," the party pony thanked the small dragon.

"Looking forward to it!" Spike gave a large smile.

The baby dragon climbed to the top of the wooden ladder and placed the final book on the shelf, as he did a door opened behind him. He turned to find a sleepy unicorn stumbling into the library from the basement.

"Wow, you look exhausted" Spike said, sliding down the ladder.

Twilight answered in a low tired hum. "What time is it?"

"Its almost lunch, do you want me to fix something?" he asked politely.

"That's okay Spike, I'll make something soon," the unicorn stated.

"Hey Twilight, what's with your hair?" Spike tilted his head.

"Oh, its a ponytail. I, um, just wanted to try it out," the unicorn faked a small smile.

"Wow, you really are in love with Pinkie Pie," Spike blurted then immediately threw his hands over his mouth.

"Wha-" Twilight's face lit up brightly.

"Oops," Spike cringed.

Chapter 2: ApplePie

*Cock-a-doodle-doo*

The sun rose over Sweet Apple Acres, the smell of the orchard was as ripe as ever. Applejack's joyous trot found herself in front of an apple tree. The orange earth pony swung her body around and bucked the base of the tree causing a shockwave, the apples landed perfectly in the wooden buckets as the pony's grin grew pridefully.

A cool breeze shuffled the leaves and plants, then suddenly Applejack felt uneasy. The earth pony shrugged and continued her hard work, yet when the wind flew by her again the anxiety rose. Beginning to trust her intuition she began turning sporadically and stared at her environment for long stretches. Once she felt her fur sway and heard the trees rustle, she flew herself around quickly, trying to find anything out of place.

"Jeez, what am ah' doin'" Applejack sighed.

SNAP

A twig behind the earth pony announced the presence of someone. quickly she threw a high kick, catching nothing she spun. Her eyes landed on a small absent-minded bunny; the large eyes looked to her own with pure innocence.

"Sorry there litt-" Applejack's apology got interrupted.

Hooves fell over the apple pony's mouth and neck. The unknown assailant pulled, bringing Applejack and their self-down into a bush. The earth pony's mind reeled, quickly attempting to grasp the situation.

"Do you love me?" an extremely familiar voice asked timidly and the hoof fell away from the orange pony's mouth.

"Oh, gosh darn it! Pinkie Pie have you been spying on me all day?" Applejack asked angrily as her body fell limp.

"No dodging the question," Pinkie stated, her voice feeling almost sad.

Applejack felt the seriousness in the question and thought for a moment before answering. "Ah', love you as a friend. Now can you let me go?"

Pinkie's hooves let go of the apple horse and not a moment later they found themselves back on their hooves.

"Now what was that all about?" Applejack asked as she dusted off her coat.

"Sorry AJ, I didn't want to ask such a personal question but can I beg for a favor?" Pinkie's voice started to become slightly more cheerful.

"Sure," Applejack answered finally looking to the pink pony.

"Well, you see, I ate a magic pie, my pupils turned pink, I put my other pie away, I went to Twilight's house, we had fun then Twilight asked me out on a date, I said yes but I didn't know it was a date, I talked to Spike, he told me it was a date, I freaked out and I don't know what to do, so, can I hide here?" Pinkie recalled the past day before bringing her eyes to her friends with the question.

The earth pony's eyes connected and the apple pony's heart leapt from her chest, her ears listening to every beat of her heart.

"Crab Apples, why didn't you mention that before Ah' looked at ya," Applejack whispered to herself with a frown.

"I didn't quite catch that," Pinkie's head turned.

"Don't worry about it. So, you said yes to a date with Twi and you want to stay here until what?" Applejack asked.

"Until I figure out if it's because of the magic pie," the pink pony answered quickly.

"Well Ah think you should just be honest with her, Ah mean, talking these things out is usually the best thing to do," Applejack cringed slightly, knowing she should do the same.

"I understand but I can't hurt her feelings, I just can't," Pinkie frowned.

"It's going to hurt if you don't talk to her," Applejack sighed.

Pinkie reeled, her frown growing. She stared at the dirt ground in silence.

"Fine... Ah'm sure Ah can convince Twilight that something came up for you but Ah need your help with bakin' tonight," Applejack stomped.

"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I knew I could count on you," Pinkie bounced into a hug with her friend.

"No problem," Applejack answered as a smile appeared on her face, she quickly shook her head removing the grin.

The orange apple horse trotted out of the farm, her mind clearly elsewhere. Before she knew it, she rammed into something and found herself laying on her back. Finally coming back to reality, she jumped back to her hooves to find a lavender unicorn rubbing her head in pain.

"Ouch!" the unicorn stated, her burning head throbbed.

"Oh, Ah'm sorry Twilight. Ah guess Ah wasn't all there," Applejack said sorrowful.

"It's okay, I can't exactly blame other ponies for doing something I do all the time," the unicorn gave a small smile.

"Right, but what are you doin' all the way over here in Sweet Apple Acers?" Applejack asked.

"I wanted to speak to Pinkie Pie but no one has seen her all day, do you know what happened to her?"

"Yeah actually, Ah was starting to head for your place until Ah bumped into you. Pinkie Pie dropped by earlier, said she felt really bad about not being able to make it to yawls hang out today and that Ah should come tell ya'," Applejack looked to the floor as she rehearsed the story filled with half lies.

"Hmm, do you know what she was doing today?" Twilight questioned.

"Not really, no," the earth pony responded.

"Applejack... Can I be honest with you?" Twilight asked in a long pause.

"What are friends for?" the farm pony answered slowly.

"I asked Pinkie Pie out on a date and she accepted but I figured out through Spike that she didn't know it was a date. I think she might be trying to avoid me," Twilight cringed.

Applejack opened her mouth but nothing came out, she fought herself on what to say. Twilight looked away quickly as she attempted to hide her face. Tears slowly began forming from the unicorn's eyes, she wiped the tears away but more filled its place. Twilight then felt the warm hug from her friend and let her tears fall.

"I just d-don't want to ruin our friendship," the unicorn started to whimper, pulling the earth pony into a tighter grip.

"Of course Pinkie is still your friend sugar cube, I don't think that's ever goin' to change," Applejack answered wholeheartedly.

Twilight smiled, "Thank you."

The sun lowered just beyond the mountains and the stars began twinkling in the night sky. Pinkie Pie pulled out many tools and bowls from seemingly nowhere, most of them pink. She then stacked them oddly in a smile as she waited in the Apple family’s kitchen. The pink earth pony watched the clock move and without realizing it, her head turned in time with the hands. Applejack entered the room with her head low and a guilty expression.

"Applejack! I'm all ready to start. So, what are we making? Apple pie? Apple slices? Apple sauce?" the party pony jumped with excitement.

"Pinkie, look," the farm pony rubbed the back of her head.

"Oh, do you want me to guess? Apple fritters, um, caramel apples?" Pinkie thought aloud.

"No, Pinkie Pie Ah need to talk to you," the orange pony shook her head.

"Sorry, sorry. I just get so excited when I bake with a friend," Pinkie's smile brightened the room.

"You do not make this easy," Applejack whispered to herself.

Pinkie slid a bowl back in place then turned to the other earth pony. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Ah... Ah haven't been fully honest with you. The truth is, well, the truth is..." Applejack sighed. "At first Ah wasn't sure why Ah told you why Ah needed you to help me tonight, then after some thinking' Ah realized it’s because Ah just wanted to spend time with you."

Pinkie laughed slightly. "What's wrong with wanting to spend time with friends, hay, I want to hang out with you too!" the party pony's smile once again shined.

Applejack shook her head. "Ah though that it would be okay if Ah didn't tell you, thinking that Ah would be able to push the feelings away," the farm pony frowned.

"Wait, don't tell me..." the pink pony paused.

"Ah have fallin' for you," Applejack nodded.

"I- Wha- Huh-" Pinkie's face blew up, then came back a very bright pink.

Pinkie Pie turned away from Applejack and as her eyes darted, her pink pupils landed on the door. In a blink of an eye, she galloped full speed out of the farm, half way through the door frame she felt a rope wrap around her barrel. She flew backwards and slid across the wooden floor eventually coming face to face with Applejack. Pinkie's fake smile grew wide as her heart wouldn't let her breathe.

"Sorry but there is a few things Ah needed to say," the apple horse looked away. "Twilight figured out that you didn't know it was a date and you should probably keep those pupils off the rest of our friends if you can help it."

Pinkie nodded, still wearing the fake smile.

"Make sure you try and fix all this, hopefully things will go back to normal if you do,” Applejack hid her face as she untied the rope around pinkies barrel.

Once untied, Pinkie threw herself to the door frantically but stopped before leaving.

"I'll try and fix this, t-thank you," the pink party planner flew out the door and into the night.

Chapter 3: RariPie

View Online

*Yawn*

"You look exhausted my dear," Rarity cooed. "Do you need help getting back home?"

"S-Sorry Rarity, I'm okay I just haven't got a whole lot of sleep," Pinkie once again yawned in her hoof.

The pink earth pony sat in a cushioned seat with her eyes hardly staying open. The white unicorn stood close with a small box lifted next to her filled with different stylish eyewear. The Carousel Boutique was empty besides the two ponies.

"Hmm, how about these?" Rarity's glow wrapped around three pairs of glasses and flew next to Pinkie.

The earth pony forced her eyes open long enough to get a look. Pinkie's hooves tiredly moved under one of the pairs and the glow disintegrated, dropping the glasses into her pink hooves. The party pony threw the bright yellow star glasses on her face then immediately passed out.

"Did you speak with Twilight yet? She came by yesterday morning, said she wanted to speak with you," Rarity asked as she lifted the box to the ground.

"Pinkie?"

A few moments passed quietly until the earth pony began snoring. The white unicorn sighed as she lifted the pink pony onto her back. Rarity started struggling as she moved slowly to the stairs.

"I-I know you love your sweets but could you cut back... Especially if..." Rarity paused as she thought about what she was going to say.

The unicorn's blue eyes landed on the pink sleeping face on her back and answered herself in a hum. Finally, she worked over to the stairs and looked up them with a frown. Starting the trot up, Pinkie instinctively wrapped her hooves around Rarity's neck and the earth pony's soft breathing played in the unicorn’s ears. Suddenly Rarity easily found herself scaling the once daunting staircase.

The white unicorn quickly trotted to her bed and lifted the blankets off before lightly placing her friend in place. Rarity quietly tucked back in the blankets over the party pony then stood by the bed. The unicorn smiled as she began playing lightly with Pinkie's hair until two pink hooves flew out of the blankets and trapped her own hoof in place. Rarity giggled slightly as she pulled her hoof back gently but it didn't budge, she tried again this time with more strength but the results didn't change.

Pinkie slowly began to awake but the soft bed wanted to keep her, she wasn't sure where she was but that didn't bother her. The party pony kept fiddling with a soft pillow wrapped in her hooves as she was attempting to leave her tempting prison. After a minute Pinkie slowly realized the pillow wasn't a pillow. Her eyes flew open and saw Rarity's sleeping head rested on the bed as she sat on the floor. Pinkie looked down to what she had grappled and found a white hoof.

"Eyes..." She thought aloud to herself as she sat up. "EYES!" the party pony yelled then threw her hooves over her eyelids.

"Hmm," Rarity got up groggily.

"Rarity it’s very important that no one sees my eyes, do you have any glasses?" Pinkie asked, panicked.

"Why of course darling, you asked for them last night," Rarity answered, still waking up. "Here," Pinkie felt plastic touch her hoof.

The party pony grabbed it quickly and threw it on in a sigh of relief. Pinkie then opened her eyes to find her friend smiling oddly at her.

"It seemed like you didn't want me to leave last night, is there anything you wanted to tell me?" Rarity cooed.

"Um, sorry about holding onto your hoof. How much do I owe you for the glasses?" Pinkie bounced out of bed with mixed emotions.

"It’s on the house darling... I don't wish to impose but you will stay for a little while, won't you?" the unicorn imposed.

"Um, I guess it’s okay for a little bit. Did you need my help with something?" Pinkie tilted her head.

"Nope, I just wanted to do something fun," Rarity smiled.

"Oh? Really?" Pinkie felt some color flood back into her as she smiled back. "That sounds great, all the 'fun' recently hasn't been all that 'fun' looking back on it," she answered wholeheartedly.

"Then shall we get started?" the unicorn pushed.

"Sure!" Pinkie jumped with full color.

Pinkie threw on a brightly colored fake knight costume and a fake sword wrapped around her barrel. She poked the sword with a smile then turned to her friend. Rarity cautiously put on a beautiful princess gown and finished with putting a tiara on her head.

"These costumes look very pretty Rarity. What is the occasion?" Pinkie bounced.

"Well, I wanted to try my hoof at writing a play and sense I had plenty of time last night I decided to write one," Rarity floated a few pages to the party pony.

"Awesome! Is it a medieval comedy? Maybe a fantasy epic?" Pinkie tackled the sheets of paper.

"Just wait and see, no looking ahead. I think you will find the twists and turns to be enjoyable in the moment," the unicorn announced.

"Oki doki loki!" Pinkie answered.

"Because it is my play, I'll be the narrator, you read all the lines with your name," Rarity cleaned her throat.

"Sure! One small detail Rarity. Usually, the script has the character’s name not the actors," the party pony lifted her paper with her hair.

"Right... Well, I couldn't think of any names so we are just using our own," the unicorn lied.

"Awesome! Start us off Rarity!" Pinkie smiled brightly.

Pinkie brought out her play sword and frowned at the mannequin. The white silhouette charged with its sword, pinkie flawlessly deflected the blade and playfully counterattacked. The figure drops and the earth pony sheathed her sword.

"The princess is now safe, you may rest now," the party pony read.

"P-Pinkie... My curse, I won't last until sunrise," the princess stated.

"Rarity, my sweet Rarity. Surly I may break thou curse?" the knight lifted the princesses head as she lay.

"Of course, you may... My love..." the deathly princess allowed.

"Um, Rarity it says here that we are supposed to, um, kiss? Did you want me to kiss you on the forehead?" Pinkie asked with a sad undertone.

"Hmm, well it does say that we kiss 'muzzle to muzzle' so if it wouldn't be too much of a bother," the unicorn stated clinically.

"Well... Okay, I guess its fine," Pinkie faked a smile.

The pink earth pony continued propping the unicorns head on her hoof, hesitantly she moved her head down uncomfortably. The princess threw her hooves around the knight’s neck with a suggestive smile. Pinkie began slowly backing her head away before Rarity quickly placed her mouth over her friends. The earth pony's color quickly evaporated, she yanked her head up and away, unintentionally bringing Rarity to her hooves before she finally let go.

"Sorry, I guess I got too carried away acting. Well, only one more scene left, the wedding scene," the unicorn blushed.

"You saw my eyes, didn't you?" Pinkie spat angrily.

"Darling, are you okay?" Rarity looked with worry.

"No, No, NO!" Pinkie shouted. "I am NOT okay! YOU MADE THAT PLAY JUST TO KISS ME!" she puffed.

"I will admit that I made it just for the two of us, it was mostly-"

"SAY YOU MADE IT TO KISS ME! SAY IT! SAY IT! SAY IT!" the grey earth pony stomped her hoof.

"Pinkie, please... you’re scaring me," Rarity cowered.

Pinkie Pie threw her costume on the floor bitterly, she once again stomped angrily before slowly trotting out the door. Rarity shook slightly as her friend left. The unicorn heard shouting from the other side of the door and slowly more and more tears came from her eyes.

Chapter 4: RainbowPie

Rainbow's wings fell as she dove, entering free fall she had her eyes placed on a large fluffy cloud. As her speed continued to rise, she was gaining on the still cloud. Her wings flew up as she guided her body and speed to the white fluff. In an instant Rainbow appeared out from the other side and the cloud was shredded into a fine mist. She looked back as she slowed her speed with satisfaction. Continuing to hover she smiles at the sun before scanning the rest of the endless sky above.

Noticing a small cloud near the ground, Rainbow's eyes once again target a new fluff but her vision also noticed something odd. Rainbow Dash lowered herself to the cloud and watched over the edge. She saw one of her best friends but something was wrong, Rainbow frowned as she saw the grey pony trotting below her. She also noticed the grey glasses she wore as the grey pony moved silently through the alleys of Ponyville.

Rainbow Dash hovered to the ground as her eyes trailed the grey pony, she placed herself close. The rainbow haired pegasus moved slowly to the still earth pony, she saw as her friend’s hair rose and she once again frowned.

"Hey Pinkie. How are you feeling?" Rainbow asked nonchalantly, her defense rose as she saw the large frown.

"How do I feel?" Pinkie grumbled under her breath as she grew uncomfortably close to the pegasus.

"I'm going to guess not good," sweat rolled down Rainbow's forehead as she backed away.

"No, I am NOT feeling 'good'," Pinkie spoke with her teeth clenched.

Rainbow watched the party pony, unsure what to say. She wanted to hover but decided it wasn't a good idea even if it would make her feel less stressed. Rainbow Dash knew Pinkie Pie; she has seen her like this before but unlike before she doesn't have anything to make her feel better hidden behind a barn door. Rainbow felt trapped as though each word might hold a land mine and could blow at any second.

"I like the glasses... Where did you get them?" Rainbow smirked, hoping it wasn't a sore subject.

"Yeah! I bet you'd like to take them off too! Look at my pupils then trick me into some silly plan," Pinkie huffed as her brow furrowed.

Rainbow Recoiled slightly, now the feeling of all words being mines entered her mind. She thought long as the grey pony watched her, not giving up any ground. Rainbow Dash then came to a conclusion.

The pegasus breathed in "Have you spoken to Twilight yet? She isn't the one that made you... Well, grey, is she?" she asked.

"I am not talking to Twilight, there is something I need to do," the earth pony turned and started to leave.

"So... you are mad at Twilight?" Rainbow trailed her friend.

"No, but I'm about to be mad at a pegasus if she doesn't stop following me," Pinkie gritted her teeth.

"Sorry but you're one hundred percent going to be mad at me. We are going to Twilight's," Rainbow spoke, beginning to hover in the air.

Pinkie looked back to her friends determined gaze and met it with a flame that pierced through her glasses. The pegasus frowned as she stretched and the earth pony planted her hooves in the ground. Rainbow sighed before looking back with a flame of her own in a challenge before she dove at the grey pony. The two ponies tumbled to the ground with a lot of kicking and even some biting. The roll stopped and Rainbow held the earth pony to the ground she growled angrily.

"Ha! I got you, I did it once, I can do it again," the pegasus gloated.

Then the magenta eyes of Rainbow Dash landed upon the very pink pupils of the grey pony and her heart fluttered. The pegasus flew off the earth pony with a bashful expression.

"I-I-I..." Rainbow kicked her front leg.

Pinkie got up slowly, her anger waning. She felt her face and noticed the glasses that lay broken in the alley. Her anger turned to sadness.

"I have to go," Pinkie spoke sullenly.

"W-Wait," Rainbow hid her face.

The grey earth pony turned her head slowly to the pegasus.

"Do you remember that time we pranked like, everypony in Ponyville?" Rainbow grew a large grin. "Wasn't that the best?"

Dash almost fell over as she saw Pinkie's sad gaze, quickly coming back she continued.

"Oh, you remember when you had that crazy flying contraption? Like where did you even get that?" Rainbow grew the smile again.

Pinkie turned away and began to trot silently out of view. The pegasus quickly thought to herself as she flew back to her friend, hovering above her.

"Man, all those great memories. We should definitely make some more soon," Dash said confidently.

The grey mare's movements quickened slightly.

"I wish I was as good at flying as you are at baking. I'd be performing sonic rainbooms in my sleep," the pegasus rubbed the back of her head. "Those pies you made last time; they were SO good! I'll have to get the recipe from you."

Pinkie started a small gallop.

"Hey Pinkie Pie, have you ever thought about being a pegasus, do you think you would be a good flyer?" Rainbow weaved through the alleyway quickly. "Nothing?" Rainbow frowned, "Can we slow down at least?"

The earth pony entered a full gallop as she traversed the small city flawlessly as though from pure memory. The blue pegasus tried to match the speed but she fell slightly behind even with her fast reaction time. The grey pony flew behind two homes and when Rainbow finally caught up and turned the corner, she found an empty alleyway. The pegasus hovered silently for a few moments before flying away.

A minute passed in the small alley then a lid to a large box slid off and Pinkie Pie jumped out, wearing a frown. She slowly started to leave before she heard a voice in the distance.

"Have you seen Pinkie Pie? I think she might have gone this way."

The grey mare stopped for a moment, staring at the ground she shook her head.

"I know you’re out here somewhere, it’s only a matter of time before I catch you!" Rainbow Dash spoke loudly above the tree line.

The Rainbow's voice hitting Pinkie's ears she hid quietly within the trees. Her frown once again grew.

"Did I mention that I really like your main? Like, mine is pretty awesome but yours is amazing!" Dash spoke once again.

"Just go away Dashy!" Pinkie whispered to herself as she cringed.

Then just as night began to fall a light turned on amongst the trees. A small cottage entered the grey pony's view.

"The End! Alright my little friends, it’s time for bed," Fluttershy closed the book and set it aside.

The small room held many small critters, all with bright smiles. One of the small bunnies bounced to Fluttershy and held up a children's book to the pegasus with large puppy eyes. The quite mare's heart melted, how could she refuse?

"Okay. One more then straight to bed," Fluttershy grinned.

The critters all cheered calmly as the pegasus opened the first page. In the other room a door swung open before being shut swiftly. everycreature's ears perked up as their gaze shifted to the door and saw a grey earth pony enter slowly with one hoof thrown over both eyes.

"Sorry but that will be our last story, I have to talk to Pinkie Pie," the kind mare smiled softly.

The critters all frowned but started to leave regardless. Fluttershy flew to the earth pony, worriedly.

"Oh, my goodness, are you okay Pinkie Pie?" the pegasus asked while landing.

"Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash will knock on the door at any second. I need you to say I am not here," the grey pony begged hurriedly.

The yellow mare looked at Pinkie skeptically. "Only if you promise to tell me everything," Fluttershy stated firmly.

Pinkie cringed slightly then a knock came from the door, the pegasus stared at the grey pony until finally she nodded silently. Pinkie then dove out of sight behind a plant and the yellow mare trotted to the door and opened it.

"Hey Flutters, have you seen Pinkie Pie? I think she is around here somewhere," Rainbow Dash started quickly.

"Um, no I haven't... Is everything okay?" Fluttershy asked.

"Y-Yeah, everything's great. I just wanted to talk with her" the blue mare blushed slightly. "Well, if you see her let me know."

Then Rainbow flew away quickly into the night sky, the kind pony watched for a few moments before shutting the door and trotting back in.

"She's gone," Fluttershy sighed deeply.

Pinkie slowly escaped the hiding spot without saying a word. The pegasus scanned the grey mare slowly before softly pulling her to the couch. Pinkie sat on the edge, as though to run at a moment’s notice. Fluttershy sat close, she opened her mouth as though to say something but closed it, then she hugged Pinkie. The earth pony let go of her eyes and wrapped her hooves around the soft pegasus.

Pinkie began to sob, her tears flowing from her face onto the yellow mare. Fluttershy pulled her friend even closer as the tears grew. The warmth slowly gave Pinkie a fraction of her color back. The greyish pink pony fell from the hug, landing her head onto the lap of her friend as she curled up.

"I'm just so tired... Why can't things go back-" Pinkie trailed off as the world around her grew darker. Tears still flowing from her eyes, she felt a soft hoof land calmly on her back and started petting her gently.

Pinkie felt the warm blanked over her as she heard a calming hum. She slowly opened her eyes, the earth pony stayed curled up on the couch as she looked around the small cottage. Finally, Fluttershy reentered the room and Pinkie quickly threw her hoof over her eyes in a panic. The greyish pink pony sat up and brought the blanket with her, then she felt a round bowl get placed on her lap.

"I hope you like oats, I don't have much pony food here," Fluttershy stated with her soft voice.

"Thank you Fluttershy," Pinkie said calmly.

The earth pony found it hard to eat with only one hoof but she managed and thankfully didn't make a mess. She felt the pegasus watching her silently, once done the bowl was removed. She heard as the pegasus sat next to her and she positioned her body away.

"I-I don't want to push, but I would like to know what's going on?" the soft voice questioned.

"I'm under a curse," Pinkie said sorrowful.

"What kind of curse?" she asked plainly.

"The kind were when me and another pony's eyes meet, they fall in love with me," the greyish pink mare's frown grew large.

"That's why Rainbow followed you here and Twilight has been looking for you?" the pegasus asked softly.

The party pony gave a light nod and she looked away. Fluttershy was silent as she thought.

"You can open your eyes," the pegasus stated calmly.

"Wha-" Pinkie turned back with her hoof still over her eyes.

"I said you can open your eyes; I promise my feelings won't change," Fluttershy said sternly.

"But," the party pony countered.

The pegasus took Pinkie's loose hoof and placed it across her chest. She felt her rapid heartbeat through the soft fur.

"If my heartbeat changes then you can flee, but it won't," Fluttershy stated.

"... Okay..."

Pinkie removed her hoof from her face and she began opening her eyes. Their eyes met yet the heartrate never altered. Color quickly washed over the pink mare as she wore a large beautiful smile. With a jump she picked up the yellow pony and trapped her in an inescapable hug.

"I can't believe it! The curse, it didn't work on you!" she said cheerfully.

"Of course," the kind mare hummed with the last of her breath.

"I think this calls for a party. Do you want to party, oh, OF COURSE you want to party, I mean who doesn't want to party?" Pinkie trailed on and on as she began crushing the shy mare.

"Pinkie," the name barely escaped Fluttershy's mouth.

"Oh, sorry," the pink mare rubbed the back of her head as she sat the pegasus down.

Fluttershy was placed on the floor and she started to actually breath again, then she started to chuckle, then started to laugh. Pinkie joined in too and the small cottage was filled with joy, the pink pony fell to the floor and rolled with joyous tears rolling down her fur. As their laughter cooled, they sat up with bright smiles.

"I-" Fluttershy forced a cough. "So, how do you plan to fix your curse?"

Pinkie lifted a hoof to her mouth in thought. "I think I might have an idea," Pinkie gave a determined smile.

Pinkie lifted a hoof to her mouth in thought. "I think I might have an idea," Pinkie gave a determined smile.

"What is it?" Fluttershy questioned.

"I remembered something that I should have remembered from the start," the pink pony trotted in thought.

"What?" the yellow mare questioned.

"AND words of truth may break the spell! It’s so obvious now!" the earth pony wrapped her hoof around her friend.

"Pinkie, I don't know if your making sense," the pegasus kindly responded.

"Fluttershy," the pink mare said sternly as she grew far too close for comfort. "I need you to gather all of our friends at Twilight's library. I need to talk to all of them," Pinkie was so close their eyes almost touched.

"okay"

Fireflies began lighting up the cool air around the small town before Rainbow Dash dove quickly through the almost night sky. She lifted her wings up as she drifted between the buildings and finally ending in a small loop, landing right before a large tree. Rainbow quickly threw the door open.

"I'M SO SORRY!" the pegasus blurted before opening her eyes to the small room of her friends minus a certain pink party pony. Rainbow flushed "S-Sorry, I thought Pinkie was here."

The ponies all looked to the heavily breathing sports mare standing in the doorway awkwardly. Twilight put down her book and trotted silently to the pegasus.

"I'm guessing you fell in love with Pinkie too?" Twilight asked with a low voice.

"WHA?!?" Rainbow's wings shot up as she staggered. "I-I WhA- Huh-"

Twilight lifted her hoof and the cyan mare calmed. "It's okay, we all have except Fluttershy. It seems like she was under some kind of spell that made us fall in love with her," Twilight looked away. "I just wish I noticed sooner and listened to her," Twilight kicked herself mentally.

"W-Wait, all of us fell for Pinkie Pie?" Rainbow asked loudly.

Applejack, Rarity, and Twilight nodded silently while Fluttershy looked away.

"It sounds like she called us all here to break the spell, Ah just hope it works," Applejack stated calmly.

"I am such an idiot!" Rainbow yelled. "Pinkie probably hates me now!"

"It’s going to be okay darling, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about," said Rarity calmly.

The white unicorn lifted a small cup of coffee with her magic but the mug shook uncontrollably within the blue levitation until it flew into the floor, shattering.

"Sorry Twilight," Rarity once again stated calmly with a small smile.

"Oh... It’s okay Rarity," Twilight answered blankly.

"Hey Rainbow can I squeeze in there?" said an all too familiar voice to the rainbow haired pony standing in the doorframe.

The room looked behind Dash to find a smirking pink pony, the pegasus stepped aside and the party pony bounced in. Yet the room was silent, Rainbow frowned as she tapped her hoof. Applejack waited patiently for Pinkie to speak. Rarity quietly hummed to herself as she looked away. Twilight looked as though she had something to say but didn't want to break the silence. Then finally Fluttershy, who gave Pinkie a small smile.

Pinkie Pie gave a hefty sigh then trotted up to Applejack with a smile, the farm pony gave a simple smile back.

"Applejack, you are one of the most reliable ponies I know, even when it’s hard. Thank you so, so, SO much for being my friend! But I don't love you," Pinkie gave a small smirk.

Applejack wrapped her hooves around Pinkie and gave her a hearty hug with a bright smile. Then the pink mare trotted to Rarity, the unicorn stopped humming as she looked into Pinkie's eyes with a frown.

"Rarity, you always go so far out of your way to help anypony. It’s truly an honor to call you, my friend."

The white unicorn began to break as tears started to form.

"But... I don't love you," Pinkie gave a soft hug.

Fluttershy and Applejack joined in as their friend broke. Rarity hid her face but she couldn't stop the tears. Even with the warmth of her friends she still whimpered in pain. After some time, the unicorn calmed then once again met Pinkie's eyes but this time with a smile. The pink mare trotted to Rainbow.

"Hey Pinkie!" Rainbow called.

"Yeah?" the party pony responded.

"No need with pleasantries, just rip off the band aid," Dash smirked.

"You're the greatest but, I don't love you," Pinkie smiled.

Rainbow laughed slightly, "Your darn right!"

Finally, Pinkie stood in front of Twilight with a small smile.

"I take it this will end the spell?" the unicorn questioned with a smirk.

"Yep! Are you ready?" Pinkie questioned.

"Yeah..." Twilight sighed.

"You are the smartest pony I have ever met. You are always SO much fun to talk to and you were the one who really brought us together... But."

"I love you!"

Twilight sat; her head rested on her hoof as her eyes blazed through the book. Her horn lit and the page flipped then she continued. Twilight took out a paper and began to write, her eyes still focused on the book. After a few more pages she started taking notes again but when her eyes landed on her page, she noticed the words disappeared.

Pinkie and Spike laughed as they rolled on the floor together, the unicorn looked back with an eye roll and a large grin.

"What time is it?" Twilight asked the pranking duo.

"Time for us to go to the restaurant silly," Pinkie giggled.

"Fine, I guess I'll have to continue when I get back," Twilight closed the book with a smile.

Pinkie and Spike winked at each other than giggled quietly.

"Did you want to come with us this time Spike?" Twilight asked politely.

"No thanks I got things to do here," the baby dragon smiled.

"Like wha-"

"TWILIGHT! Are you ready for the most awesomeness, tastetastical meal you have ever eaten?" Pinkie's blue eyes practically drilled into Twilight as she tackled her to the floor.

"So that means you’re paying this time, right?" Twilight grinned.

Pinkie quickly got off of the unicorn. "Y-Yeah! Yep! Of course!" she nodded. "Oh! Wait my bits are at home..."

"Don't worry we can drop by," Twilight smirk grew as she got up.

"Just get married already," Spike deadpanned halfway out the room.

Twilight and Pinkie began laughing as they started for the door.

Spike took out a black box with a large cheerful smile and removed the ink on Twilights desk before replacing it with the small box.

Pinkie lifted a hoof to her mouth in thought. "I think I might have an idea," Pinkie gave a determined smile.

"What is it?" Fluttershy questioned.

Pinkie opened her mouth but before a word escaped her a knock came from the door. Both ponies turn before looking back to each other, with a silent nod the pink party pony hid behind the couch while Fluttershy trotted to the door. The wooden door swung open and an orange farm pony stood on the other side.

"Hey Fluttershy, Ah was kinda hoping we could do our weekly tea party today," she asked, clearly something on her mind.

"We normally do it tomorrow, is something wrong? I am a little bit busy right now," Fluttershy frowned.

"R-Right, sorry for wasting your time and no, nothing’s wrong, its just-" she sighed. "Nothing, don't worry about it," Applejack gave the pegasus a small smile.

"Wait... Give me a moment," Fluttershy closed the door and quickly moved into the room. "Pinkie," she loudly whispered.

A pink pony lifted her head above the couch silently.

"Can you wait upstairs, Applejack really wants to speak with me," the yellow mare rubbed the back of her mane.

In an unsure nod the party pony hopped over the hiding place before sneakily moving upstairs, once out of sight the pegasus reopened the door.

"Fluttershy if your busy then Ah don't want to impose," the farmer frowned.

"You aren't imposing, if you want to talk then I'll be here for you," the pegasus gave a kind smile.

"Thanks!" Applejack wore a hearty smile as she moved inside.

"I'll put on some apple tea," Fluttershy said as she flew to the kitchen.

"Right," she nodded.

Pinkie hid just barely out of view upstairs, her ears standing up as they listened.

"It should be done shortly, now, what's been bothering you?" the yellow mare asked with a small tilt of her head.

"I-Its... Hmm. Ah guess Ah'll start at the beginning," Applejack sighed. "Pinkie came over to mah farm a few days ago, she mentioned a magical pie that caused ponies to fall in love with her and some other things, then our eyes crossed and Ah fell in love with her..." cough "Well, after she left Ah started to think about some of the other things she mentioned, so me and Twi go over to Pinkie's place and pick up the uneaten pie, because she had two. After a bit of investigating, we found that the uneaten pie had a love spell in it," Applejack frowned.

"That's... A lot. Wait, so both of the pies had love spells?" the pegasus cocked her head.

The orange earth pony shook her head from side to side.

"So... Pinkie Pie isn't under some kind of spell? But what about her pink eyes?" Fluttershy questioned.

"Well, that's why we were confusing... Wait, how do you know about her eyes?" the farm pony's eyebrow raised.

"I-I saw her earlier..." the yellow mare hid in her mane.

"And you didn't fall in love with her, did you?" Applejack asked softly.

"N-No, but... But..."

Bzzzzzt! A loud sound played from the kitchen then following it was a small squeak from upstairs.

"What was that?" the farm pony looked up.

"Oh, I think that was just my... Bird... Yes, my bird, she is very sick," Fluttershy began hovering subconsciously.

"Pinkie Pie, can you come down here," Applejack said in a huff.

The pink party pony made her way down the stairs before giving the orange earth pony a small smile. "Hey Applejack," she said, almost sad.

"Hi Pinkie. There's something Ah need to tell you,” The farm pony had a small blush.

"I'll get us tea," Fluttershy dove to the kitchen.

"First can I say that I found out how to remove the spell? You see I just need to tell you all the truth and-" Applejack rose her hoof and Pinkie stopped with a quite frown.

"Your colored eyes are from a prank, Twilight talked to the pie shop in Canterlot. All you need is to get a full night’s rest, which is actually quite concerning that you still have the pink eyes." Applejack looked at her friend seriously.

"Then explain all the love and tricks, and love tricks," Pinkie's frown grew.

"Coincidences oddly enough. Twilight was working on five hours of sleep for the past week while casting who knows what magic," Applejack started and Pinkie's heart broke a little but she didn't know why. "Rainbow is just crazy about pink eyes."

"T-Then what about you and Rarity?" The party pony countered.

"Ah haven't been able to talk to her, she locked herself up in her room and won't come out. So, Ah don't know," Applejack frowned.

Pinkie cringed visibly as though in pain. "And you?"

"Ah... Ah really am in love with you, Ah guess it took talk about a love pie to make me see that... Look Ah don't want our friendship to get ruined over this but if you feel like giving it a chance, then, well, then," Applejack blushed brightly.

A loud crash played from the door to the kitchen and Fluttershy stood there with her hoof covering her face as the tea set lay broken on the ground.

Applejack stood by the oven as she watched the pot begin to boil, her grin was from ear to ear. A door opened behind her and she turned quickly. Apple Bloom entered with an apple pie balanced on her head before her sister quickly rushed over to her.

"Apple Bloom, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!" the orange pony yelled worriedly.

"Ah- uh... What's the problem?" the filly questioned.

"What's the pro-" Applejack repeats. "Apple Bloom, Pinkie Pie is coming over. We can't have pie!"

"Why not?" the small apple asked quizzically.

"Because tha-"

"Hey Apple Bloom, hey Applejack. How's it going?" Pinkie said with a large smile.

"Doing great!" the filly responded with a smile.

"Fantastic," Applejack gave a fake smile as she stepped in front of Apple Bloom.

"Sis, Ah don't see the-"

"Take it outside, Ah'll tell you later," the orange pony whispered.

"Whatcha talking about?" Pinkie gave a smile.

"Nothing,"

"Pies," Apple Bloom said loudly.

"Oh? I love pies! Did I ever tell you about how me and Applejack-"

"QUITE!" Applejack yelled.

Pinkie lifted a hoof to her mouth in thought. "I think I might have an idea," Pinkie gave a determined smile.

"What is it?" Fluttershy questioned.

"I need to tell everypony the truth!" Pinkie stated sporadically.

"Is that going to help?" the pegasus asked timidly.

"Yes, of course!" the pink pony said overconfidently.

"Do you need to tell everypony the truth or does somepony else need to tell you the truth?" the shy mare spoke quietly as she fidgeted.

"Well, I don't know actually but I don't think there was anything somepony else was not telling me. Why do you know a secret?" Pinkie grinned brightly as she drew close to her friend.

"I- um," Fluttershy staggered as she blushed brightly.

After a minute of an awkward silence and Pinkie staring dumbly at the now red pegasus, the earth pony got up.

"Hey Fluttershy, you're like, really red. Anyways, I need to go fix this curse, I'll talk to you soon!" Pinkie smiled as she left the currently smoking pegasus.

"That's Rainbow and AJ done!" Pinkie Pie said with a hop.

She turned to the road that led to Twilight's tree and her heart beat swiftly with that unknown feeling. She instead turns to the other road, the one that lead to Carousel Boutique. The party pony skipped down the roads waving a joyous smile at all of her friends. Finally, she made it to the now large building and she felt slightly uneasy. She raised her hoof to the door and let it fell.

"Hey Rarity! Its Pinkie! Can I talk to you!" the party pony knocked.

The door unlocked and it creaked open slowly, revealing a dark interior as a blue eye peaked from behind the door unblinking.

"Um, hello Rarity," Pinkie faked a smile, feeling very uncomfortable.

"Please come in," she said statically.

"R-Right! Sure!" the party pony tried to giggle but it felt wrong.

Pinkie trotted in slowly as she instinctively tried to move far away from her friend. The door shut and the room was now completely dark, as her pink eyes adjusted, she now saw the unblocked view of Rarity. Her mane filled with grease, her coat completely unkept, and all of the signs of sleep deprivation.

"Rarity, I-I'm really sorry how I react-"

"Shh, it’s in the past," the unicorn cooed as she grew slightly closer.

"No, no, I really am sorry," Pinkie backed up in equal measure.

"Everything is going to work out," Rarity gave a corrupted smile. "Can you do me a favor?" her horn glowed.

Pinkie found herself backed into a corner with a wavering smile, she still tried to back up even more but the wall wasn't moving. The white unicorn got very close to her friend, her horn still glowing. The magic discharged and Pinkie's eyes glowed a blue outline on her already pink pupils, her discomfort dissipates.

"Can you drink this dear?" Rarity asked with a smile, taking out a glass of pink liquid.

"Of course!" Pinkie happily took the glass and threw the unknown contents down her throat.

"Now look into my eyes," the unicorn lifted the pink head to her own.

Pinkie stared deeply into Rarity's eyes. The earth pony hiccupped a few pink bubbles in shapes of hearts. Pinkie didn't want to close her eyes for even a second, no, she couldn't close her eyes. She stared deeply into the white unicorns’ beautiful sapphire eyes; Pinkie wouldn't sacrifice a moment to blink.

"Rarity," was the only thing she could muster to speak as her breathing grew harder.

"Yes, my dear?" Rarity cooed.

"I- I love you!" Pinkie calls out as her mane deflates.

"I knew you would make the right choice," she grew a corrupted smile.

"Yes! Of course, I would!" the earth pony said, almost begging.

"Hmm, should I love you back?" Rarity turned in thought.

"PLEASE LOVE ME BACK!" Pinkie crawled in front of the broken unicorn and pleated. "PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! I'LL DO ANYTHING!"

"Anything?" Rarity asked, once again forming her corrupted smile.

Pinkie quickly nodded with energy matching that of an excited puppy.

"Hey Twilight! Have ya seen Pinkie Pie around?" Applejack poked her head into the library.

The lavender unicorn looked back, "No, I haven't seen her."

"That's odd... She was supposed to come here and talk to you about the spell," the farmer wore an unsure face.

"Maybe she got stopped on the way? When was she supposed to meet me?" Twilight asked.

"Yesterday," the earth pony states.

"Hmm, do you think maybe she didn't want to see me because I'm effected by the love spell?" the unicorn lifted a hoof to her chin in thought.

"No, that's exactly why she needs to talk with you," Applejack frowned.

"We should find her then. Do you think she is stuck with one of our other friends?" Twilight got up quickly.

"She already talked to Rainbow when I spoke with her and she said that Fluttershy wasn't under the spell's effect. That would only leave Rarity," the farmer answers calmly.

"Really? Fluttershy somehow resisted it? I guess that's something to ask her about," she shakes her head. "Alright let’s go to Rarity's."

Applejack led the way while Twilight kept up, weaving through the crowds. They find themselves in front of the not so taken care of boutique. Applejack knocks loudly.

"Rarity, can we talk to you?" Twilight calls.

Silence.

Once again, the farmer knocked. "Rarity! Open up!"

More silence.

"That's it," Applejack lifted her back hooves as she spun and planted them straight into the door. The colored piece of wood clashed to the ground.

"Wai--t..." Twilight tried to call out before her friend started part one of breaking and entering. "We could have just teleported inside," she kicked a hoof.

"Ah don't like teleporting, and..." Applejack looked down at the door. "Ah sort of forgot."

Twilight then planted her hoof into her forehead.

Both mares silently enter as they look around the dark room. The disgusting smell and the broken mannequins made their hairs stand up. They begin moving upstairs, only hearing the sounds from their hooves.

"Rarity," Applejack called in a normal tone as she began opening her friend’s door.

The smell of cat pee fills the hallway as they open the door and they both cringe. Yet they trudge onwards. Both of the house breakers saw a sickening scene before them. Rarity slept with that of an evil smile while another pony, one with a straight mane hugged the sleeping mare while wearing a hollow smile. The straight maned earth pony was almost pitch white, far surpassing the color grey.

"W-Who...?" was the only thing Applejack could manage.

The white mare turned to the intruders with her large absent smile.

"Hey~ please don't be jealous," the white earth pony's eyes looked as though they pleated, begged, would give anything for help.

They both realized who she was in that moment. In fact, they had a suspension of who this might be but thought it too outlandish, too horrible for a mare to lose all of her color. They looked on with horror as the white mare continued to snuggle with the unicorn. The white mare... Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie lifted a hoof to her mouth in thought. "I think I might have an idea," Pinkie gave a determined smile.

"Well, that didn't work..." Pinkie said to herself with a frown.

Loud voices filled the air of the large tree. Most of her friends arguing, pointing hooves at each other. Fluttershy hid while Rainbow hovered until her eyes wondered over to the frowning party pony. She landed and trotted over to her.

"You want to go get some air?" Rainbow whispered into Pinkie's ear.

"This isn't some plan for you to kiss me, is it?" the party pony looked into the nonchalant face of the pegasus.

"Nah," the cyan mare smirked.

"GROUND, PLEASE, GROUND NOW!" Pinkie yelled.

Rainbow almost choking as the pink pony wrapped her hooves around her windpipe. They flew sharply downwards, aiming for a small grassy hill on the edge of Ponyville. Upon landing Pinkie dove into the grass with a kiss while Rainbow coughed.

"Sweet merciful ground!" the earth pony smiled in relief.

"Why- why did you choke me," she dryly asked.

"You should have told me you were going to fly," Pinkie threw a hoof at the frowning pegasus.

"I ASKED IF YOU WANTED TO 'GET SOME AIR'! Why else why I ask you to wrap your hooves around me?" Rainbow answered before coughing again.

"Oh... I guess 'get some air' can be interoperated in different ways," the party pony said with an apologetic look. "Sorry."

The cyan mare rolled her eyes before scratching her throat.

"Now that I know what you meant that was actually pretty fun. Round two?" Pinkie hopped with a smile.

"Not happening," she answered instantly.

"Aww come on Dashie!"

"Nope!"

"Pretty please?"

"How many times do I have to say it?"

The cool night air felt amazing especially with the fast breeze of flying. The two mares grinned as they watched the glowing lights below them. Despite the temperature they felt warm and the normally talkative ponies simply just enjoyed the sight. The wind in their ears created a calm.

"So," Pinkie broke the silence. "How does it feel to be in love with somepony?"

"That's certainly a question I wasn't expecting," Rainbow looked back to the fidgety pony.

"Ha ha, sorry," the earth pony looked away.

"I don't think this really counts as falling in love. Like, I feel attracted but deep down it doesn't feel quite right," the pegasus answered with an indifferent look.

"Oh, okay,"

"If you got a crush on me, can we wait until after we zap you with the Elements and end your love spell?" Rainbow's heart beat fast.

"That's not it! Or is it? With all these mixed emotions I don't even know anymore," Pinkie frowned.

"This must really be eating at you," the pegasus states the obvious and then it was led by an awkward silence. "Look, I'm not good at this type of stuff. Rarity or AJ maybe but," she sighed. "But if you want to talk about it, I'll listen."

"Thanks Loyalty!" the party pony giggled.

"Okay Laughter," she snickered.

Once more the two mares looked back to the small town below them and couldn't help but smile. Pinkie breathed in heavily before a large sigh then a smile.

"Do you think they notice we left?" the party pony started.

"Probably not," Rainbow laughed.

"That was the worst get together I ever planned," Pinkie giggled.

Both ponies chuckled but gradually grew quieter until they dawned their small grins.

"So how does it feel having all of us fall in love with you?"

"Just awful. It’s been terrible," the tired mare laughed softly.

"You're telling me that you didn't even have a little bit of fun?" Rainbow grew a mischievous grin. "Twilight, can you please read the entire Daring Do series and act out every scene?"

"Maybe in your dreams," Pinkie rolled her eyes with a giggle.

"You're telling me you didn't do that once? What a shame," she shook her head.

"No, I did do it once," the party mare answered smugly.

"Oh really? What did you do?"

"We are flying, aren't we?"

"What does that have..." Rainbow blushed. "Y-YOU EGG HEAD!"

Pinkie began laughing and when Rainbow thought she was about to stop she started up again. Dash wanted to roll her eyes but when the pink pony began crying happy tears, she couldn't help but chuckle too.

"I'd like to do this again," Pinkie Pie smiled brightly.

"If you fall, I'm not catching you,"

Pinkie lifted a hoof to her mouth in thought. "I think I might have an idea," Pinkie gave a determined smile.

"What is it?" Fluttershy questioned.

"I just remembered something super-duper important," the earth pony bounced. "Its words of truth that break the spell," she nodded.

"Does that mean somepony has to tell you the truth?" the timid mare's eyes dropped to the wooden floor, swirling her hoof against it.

"Yep! Well, actually I was thinking that I had to tell someponies the truth," she answered instinctively.

"So, it’s not that somepony needs to tell you the truth?" Fluttershy looked up almost relieved.

"Hmm, I suppose that it would also probably work but I can't really count on anypony telling me the truth. Even more so with all of their minds being set on smooching me," the party mare trotted in a circle.

"I-" came from the soft-spoken pegasus, her stature clearly uncomfortable.

Pinkie's ears perked up at her friend and did not fall as they expected more but the only sound was that of Fluttershy sitting down and brushing her hair over her eyes.

"Uh, Fluttershy? Were you going to say something?" the pink mare asked with a mindful grin.

"Oh, um, nothing. What was your original plan?" she spoke even softer than normal

"If I'm being completely honest with you Fluttershy," Pinkie spoke seriously causing the pegasus to look her in the eyes. "I completely forgot."

After a small pause the kind mare went back to her hiding in her soft, comfortable mane.

"Fluttershy... Are you nervous?" the earth pony tilted her head.

She answered in a small nod.

"Come on Fluttershy, there is no need for all of that. Just tell auntie Pinkie Pie what's wrong," the mirthful mare smiled as she pulled her friend into a sideways hug.

"P-Please don't make it weirder than it already is," Fluttershy begged as her face brightened.

"What's weird?" Pinkie gave a kind smile. "You can tell me, promise."

"I-I have been meaning to, um, tell you for a w-while," the soft pegasus closed her eyes shut almost in pain.

The party planner didn't respond but instead pulled her closer, brushing her hoof along the yellow fur of her friend’s shoulder. The timid mare let go of some of her tension with the comfort.

"I love you!"

With true words finally spoken, enough courage finally built, she opened her eyes finding the blank face of her love. "Your eyes, they are back to normal," the kind mare smiled brightly as tears began to fall.

Pinkie attempted to speak yet her mouth just stood agape, she knew how important this was but couldn't find words. Tears still flowing from the pegasus as she escaped the limp pink hooves.

"I need to go checkup on Angel," she lied as she flew to her bedroom.

Pinkie sat quietly, thinking. Her eyes wondering, eventually landing the window. She saw her blank reflection in the dark glass. Her pupils returned to the light cerulean color just as Fluttershy said. It wasn't long before she heard weeping, then a door swung open before slamming shut. Pinkie turned to face the bottom of the stairs to find a small little bunny.

Fluttershy's head was deep into the soft pillow, her whimpering muffled. A door opened behind her but that did nothing to stop her suffering. She heard the sounds of hooves against the floor and her heart ached. Finally, somepony sat on the bed next to her yet the tears still flowed.

"I'm so sorry," the mare beside her said with a lump in her throat. "I knew how important an answer was right then but I didn't have one," she stated guiltily.

Fluttershy lifted her head up softly and turned her cloggy eyes to Pinkie. She cleaned her eyes with a hoof and noticed the deeply sympathetic look upon the earth pony's face.

"OH MY GOODNESS ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" the yellow mare's eyes widened and she jumped out of the sheets as she saw the countless bruises and small streams of red on the party pony.

"I'm alright Fluttershy, I just tripped on the stairs," Pinkie answered softly.

"B-But," she started before being answered with a small grin.

"Fluttershy, will you go on a date with me?" the small grin grew into a blossoming smile.

"I- what- what about our friendship with the others and what happens if-"

"We can worry about that later," Pinkie smiled.

"Yes, I'd love to go on a date," Fluttershy laughed sheepishly.

"You won't regret it; I just ask one thing."

"What?" the kind mare tilted her head.

"Take me to the hospital," Pinkie blacked out.

"Table for one?" the fancy stallion cocks his eyebrow.

"Yes please," Twilight answered with a smile.

As the two ponies trotted mindlessly one of their ears perk up.

"Hold on waiter," she calls and he stops and watches the unicorn.

Twilight moved around a few full tables and spotted Pinkie and Fluttershy sitting together with their fanciest dresses. She thought it was odd but approached them regardless. The party pony currently in the middle of a crazy story and Fluttershy held onto every word.

"Hey girls. Sorry to interrupt, do you mind if I join you two?" Twilight asked politely.

They both stopped and turned to the unicorn, Pinkie gave a smile and Fluttershy wore an almost worried expression. They both turned to each other before turning back.

"Sure," "OF COURSE!" they answer respectively.

Twilight waved at the waiter as she sat with her two friends.

"So... Twilight, what brings you here?" Pinkie questioned.

"Well after everypony said they were too busy for a sleepover I decided to go get some food," the unicorn answered honestly and watched the two very carefully.

"I-I see," Fluttershy said, visibly uncomfortable.

"Yeah, this place serves the best hay fries. Twilight you just have to try them," Pinkie underhoofedly changed the topic.

"I do hear they are pretty good but I know they can be pretty greasy. I wouldn't want to accidently ruin your beautiful dresses," Twilight stared at their clothing.

The pegasus began drinking her water slowly to avoid the conversation.

"That's so kind of you," is all that Pinkie thought to say.

Awkward silence.

"So, how long have you two been dating?" Twilight dead panned.

Fluttershy spit out her water in a coughing fit while the earth pony was in the splash zone.

"Come on," Pinkie reels in swiftly, her brow sweating. She holds on tighter and her hoof feels like flying off, the fishing rod looks as though it could be snapped in two. The earth pony looks into the water with a determined smile as she began to see something attached to her hook.

WHOOSH

The catch escapes the water, bringing a mountain of ocean along with it. The water rained down and Pinkie grabbed ahold of herself as she looked at her first ever... "ROCK!?" She yelled into the ocean. She unlatched the small rock from her hook and inspected it, it wasn't even worth mentioning. The earth pony chunked the rock out into the abyss out of spite.

"Why are you fishing?" the voice came from behind her on the boat. turning back, she saw herself sitting in a frown, well, not quite herself, this one has a large number '2' written on her forehead.

"Because it's pretty fun," Pinkie answers with little emotion.

"That isn't what I mean," Number Two responds.

"I- I don't know what to do next," the fisher said quietly.

"You have nothing more to gain from this sea," the resting pony adds.

"You could be wrong."

"But you know I'm right."

Pinkie shook her head and threw the hook back into the water.

"Why? What is the point?" the other pony eye rolls.

"I'm practicing. Plus, I said I would fish here today," the earth pony frowned.

"You also said you would catch a clown fish and this isn't very funny," Number Two continued. "You could practice in a small lake or even a pool, it's not a far trot from the nearest land. At least they might have fish."

"They won't have fish either," Pinkie stated coldly.

This time the second pink pony stayed quiet.

"I might not have the skills, equipment, or even the correct bait but I still have fun fishing and you can't stop me. There may be no fish here or in any body of water I find but that's okay, I still want to fish," Pinkie frowned.

"Then what is the point? Why fish if you don't want to get a catch?" the resting pony asked.

"I want to get a catch. Everypony wants to get a catch but that isn't my goal."

"You are fishing, how is the goal not to get a fish?"

"If I want to get a fish, I'm pretty sure I can get one," Pinkie stated. "I can find some water near the most populated fishing spots. There isn't anything wrong with that, ponies need to eat after all or even get a medal or two."

She began slowly reeling in her line, the repeated sound played from the rod.

"Sounds like there isn't any reason why you shouldn't fish alongside everypony else," Number Two smirked. "So why don't you I wonder?"

"Maybe I just like being hard on myself or maybe you wouldn't be here otherwise," number one shrugged. "Not catching fish doesn't really bother me, well, actually you are me. So, I guess it does."

The hook escaped the water with not even that of a seaweed.

"I'll ask again; what is your goal?" the relaxing pony laid down.

"Short term; fun and practice. Medium; hopefully some friends. Long; the illusive size 2 fish," Pinkie grinned.

Number Two laughed loudly. "I think all the size 2 fishes have already been caught, good luck."

"Thanks! Times are changing, who knows if there will be a new wave of size 2 fishes," she began putting up her fishing rod.

"Talk about an optimist," Number Two rolled her eyes.

"It's time to head back, everything in this lake is done. It's in the past now," Pinkie gave a content smile.

"I'm glad I could talk," the resting mare said softly.

"Thank you."
