That dreadful day at cheerlies classroom is over for today. Brushing aside your luxurious green mane,you decide to travel in search for company. On a humid day near the outskirts of ponyville, you notice that no pony is looking your way. “Is this even news to me?” , You mutter under your breath as for the 99th time,you are alone,completely unnoticed. You sigh as you soon realize that twilight sparkle used to be an outcast herself, and that surely you will be noticed at some point. Being a Pegasus pony from an orphanage in the clouds was rough, you could at least vaguely recall that moment when that Sonic rain boom led to you falling to the ground below,and hoped that someday you’d get “magical powers” like Fluttershy did. Sadly,you are still a blank flank,as those schoolponies refer to you as,and it doesn’t seem like you have a talent worth mentioning anyway. You’ve wanted and craved attention from even the most average ponies for such a long time that you’ve just about given up. As a last resort,you head to the sugarcube corner with a few bits in your school bag,clutching it dearly,as it is the only thing you have from your mother,who passed away when you were only a year old. As you walk in,the cupcake display looks as delicious as ever! You drool slightly over the buttercream birthday cake sprinkle delight, prepared to pay. As you hand over your money,you hear a whisper saying “enjoy it while it lasts.” Knowing that this was probably not the best place to search for friendship,at least for yourself ,you still keep going. Finally, after many days of searching, you came across a small village in trottingham where you see a group of children playing ogres and oubliettes.They looked up and saw you and were amazed by your beauty, which you had failed to see in yourself.You slowly approach them, your heart racing, unsure of how they would react. Then,you attempt the impossible: After nearly 500 years,you perform a Sonic rainboom uniquely your own,the colors matching your yellow-green mane. The ponies gasp in awe,and soon you have 4 new friends! You are just as shocked,since your caretaker at the orphanage said that you were just an ordinary pony with no hope for a future. Then you play a game of ogres and oubliettes with your newfound friends,and you are amazed as your natural talent as a pony master unveils itself as a cutie mark of a glittering d20! With your friends by your side,you launch a campaign for ogres and oubliettes,and 2 new members join! You couldn’t be happier than how you felt at that exact moment,and you just knew that your hearts destiny had been fulfilled. Now you just had one more request: to find a family!
After the 4th ogres and oubliettes game, you decided to ask your mane friends if they are willing to accompany you on a journey to find yourself accepting parents. They agree, but they note that you must promise to return by 6pm. Six o clock isn’t much time, but you reluctantly agree despite the added terms. Especially since tonight was going to be a particularly windy one. Your friends suggest heading to canterlot with an interesting plan. You must first find a hose,a house with an open window,markers,and cardboard. You briefly question the effectiveness of this plan,but ultimately agree to it because you are one desperate pony.
You ask for neighola non washable markers and cardboard at minuets house,and your friends ask to borrow a hose from lemon hearts. Then you wait at the first house you see with an open window. You hold a sign. Your friends hide behind a bush with the sprinkler and hose.This creates an effect that looks like rain. The librarian at the first house did not seem interested, and neither did the couple at the second one. And the third fancy house with the annoying pony seemed like a dodged bullet!
Losing your hope seemed like it was going to tear your life apart,but the encouragement of your friends kept your hopes high and your energy up. You simply couldn’t believe how far you had gone from being a lonely pessimistic pony, to an optimist with friends by your side! You notice that the sun is beginning to set,and you wonder if you have enough time. But you try one last time,and at the window of a fancier house than the last,you notice a pony actually seems quite interested to see you! Sure enough, your patience paid off, as you are shocked to hear that she’d love to care for you! You find out her name is Carol Wishes,and that she is the daughter of the very founder of hearts warming Eve! You find out that She had a daughter once who went to the human world and never did return. Carol Wishes said that your name is now Iris Prism,and she can’t wait to play ogres and oubliettes with you!
It’s been one week since Carol Wishes adopted you and your life couldn’t be brighter! Your story has become the talk of the town,to the point where you receive your own honorable wonder-bolts ceremony! You gasp as they do a special formation,and the clouds shape into your likeness! You just know that there will be plenty of additional memories to be made,and can’t hardly believe they will be spent with your new friends and family! However,You just have one teensy-tiny question… where is that one pony who whispered in your ear to “enjoy it while it lasts?” Was she just a figment of your own imagination? Or did this apply to your future? You shrug off the problem for a future date, and you proceed to accept your honorary medal,made by all your friends and your family! You then arrange an ogres and oubliettes game for your new friends and family,and as you explained the rules to Carol Wishes,the hoof-bell rings, and as you open the door, you can hardly believe your hooves!!! The wonder bolts from the ceremony ask if you’d like to hang out with them! You ponder this one for a moment, and ask yourself this question:Should I hang out with the legendary wonder-bolts? Or the amazing family that supports you no matter what? You continue to think about it for awhile later,and can’t believe how much your life has changed for the better!
