Same Universe, same characters, But new timeline and Sunset Shimmer as the protagonist.
Discord have reset the timeline, after Sunlight and Moonlight requested him to do so. In this new timeline, major changes happened, roles are reversed and a new character takes the spotlight. Follow Sunset Shimmer as she is about to live adventures after adventures, fighting evil and enjoy some normality, in her hometown.
Sidenote: This story have no continuity with the previous one i wrote (Rise of a Hero) So if you have read the previous stories or not, it doesn't matter, because you don't need context to fully enjoy this new story. If you did, however, You'll already be familiar with the two main antagonist of the story...
Sunset Shimmer and her friends were fighting against a giant plant monster causing havoc in Canterlot.
“I just ask for one, ONE day without being attacked by a rampaging monster!!” yelled Rarity, angry.
“You might be overexaggerating there, Rare” said Applejack. “It’s the first monster we got in months!!”
“Where did that thing came from anyway?” asked Twilight.
“It doesn’t matter for the moment!” answered Rainbow Dash. “We need to hit it with our Rainbow Laser, but that plant monster doesn’t let us time to charge it!! Fluttershy, are you done?!”
“One more minute!!” answered Fluttershy. “I’m almost done!!”
Sunset and the other continued buying time for Fluttershy as the enemy’s attacks started getting more aggressive. Meanwhile, not far away, two mysterious individuals were observing the fight, wearing black robes.
“Get away, girls!!” said Fluttershy. “Okay, my little friends, the all-you-can-eat buffet is open!!”
A tidal wave of hungry grasshoppers appeared from all directions, heading for the giant walking meal. In a matter of minutes, the monster’s size considerably diminished.
“Calling an army of grasshoppers against a monster mostly made of vegetation...not bad” said one of the two individual with a masculine voice.
“It was to be expected, dear” said the other with a feminine voice “That Fluttershy girl seems weak at first glance, but her magic is no joke. Still, i’m surprised that she was able to call so many grasshoppers at once.”
The grasshoppers were done eating the giant plant monster and left the city. The duo opened a portal and disappeared.
“There was someone in that thing!!” said Applejack. “Wait...It’s Gloriosa Daisy!!”
The girls joined Applejack and walked toward Gloriosa, who was just waking up.
“What happened?” she asked. “Why us the city such in bad shape!! Did...Did i do that?”
Sunset Shimmer touched Gloriosa and read her memories.
“Those two mysterious individuals again...” she said. “Alright girls, good job!!”
Twilight removed a strange seed that Gloriosa coughed out a few seconds ago.
“This thing is the culprit” she said. “Appraisal!!”
Using a spell, Twilight was able to get the informations on the seed.
“As i thought” she said. “That seed reeks of Dark Magic.”
“The two mysterious individuals implanted it inside Gloriosa” said Sunset. “I swear, if i put my hands on them, they’ll pay for what they did to our friends.”
The two mysterious individuals were walking in a lair. They opened a door, walked some more, then kneeled in front of an imposing individual sat on a throne. They removed the mask on their faces. One of the two was a guy and the other one, a girl. The guy had black, blue and white hairs and a dark-grey skin color. The girl had long orange, red and yellow hairs and beige skin.
“Clearly this was a waste of time” said the girl. “That mindless plant monster stood no chance against those girls.”
“What she meant, Father...I mean, Mighty Grogar” said the guy. “Is that you wasted a lot of your already limited reserve of magic on a monster than yet again, failed to defeat those pesky girls.”
“Why don’t you just send me to deal with them?” asked the girl. “They would be no match for me!!”
“Your time will come, Sunny Flame” answered Grogar. “Beside, those girls are not ripe for the picking yet. Stealing their magic now would not be enough for what i’ve planned to do.”
“I just want a good fight!!” said Sunny “Burning those weak humans alive isn’t enough to keep me entertained anymore!!! Oh, i know!! Why don’t i just burn down another city!?!”
Sunny started laughing like a psychopath. The guy bashed her on the head with his fist. Sunny growled and punched him into the ceiling.
“You want to fight, Moonlight?!!”asked Sunny, very pissed.
“That’s enough, Sunny!!!” shouted Grogar, so loudly that the lair was shaking.
“Yes Father!” she answered, calming down instantly.
Moonlight reappeared next to Sunny, covered in dust.
“Anyway, i have a mission for you Moonlight” said the Father of all monsters.
He summoned a magic picture of the Dazzlings, Aria Blaze, Sonata Dusk and Adagio Dazzle that he gave to Moonlight.
“Find those girls and bring them back to me!” he. “Use any mean at your disposal”
Moonlight vanished away.
“I also have a mission for you, Sunny, don’t panic” said Grogar. “You who like fighting, you’ll be served.”
“Fuck yeah!!” she said.
“This will be a long mission” said Grogar. “One that will be dangerous”
Sunny was trembling with excitation.
“Find and bring me those 6 individuals” he said, giving her a list.
“Let’s see” she said, reading the list. “Sombra, Tirek, Chrysalis, Cosmos, Discord and Stygian”
“I’ve already located each of them” said Grogar. “The problem is that all of them were seemingly exposed to Equestrian magic by some turn of events over the years, and gained the magic of their Equestrian counterparts”
“Do you have something to do with it, Father?” asked Sunny.
“Maybe...” answered Grogar. “Take my spying orb with you and use it to track them down. Oh, One last thing, don’t kill them, i want them alive, Sunny”
Sunny sighed, took the globe and put it in a bag. She then left the lair, heading for the closest target. Back to Canterlot, Sunset was playing video games with Fluttershy, trying desperately to defeat her.
“FUCK!! Fuck, fuck, fuck!!!” yelled Sunset. “Why can’t i never beat you at this game!!?”
“Maybe it’s just not your type of game” answered Fluttershy, calmly.
“I’m done” said Sunset, throwing her controller away “I’m going to see what the others are up to!”
Sunset grabbed her phone and texted Rainbow Dash.
”Hi, Dash!!” she wrote. ”What are you doing right now?”
”I’m at the gym right now” she replied. “Doing some intense leg training”
”Count me out” wrote Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer contacted Applejack, but she was unavailable at the moment. Rarity was too busy with making dresses, Twilight Sparkle was working on a new project in her laboratory and didn’t want to be disturbed. That only left Pinkie Pie as an option.
“Yeah” thought Sunset. “I think i’m going to call Flash Sentry”
She called Flash and asked him if he wanted to go somewhere with her. He accepted gladly the invitation and told her he would be at her place in 15 minutes. 15 minutes Later, Flash arrived in his car and told Sunset to get in.
“So, where do we go?” asked Flash.
“Why don’t we go to an amusement park?” she answered.
“Good idea!!” said Flash. “To Equestria Land it is!!”
As the duo was heading to an amusement park, Moonlight, on his side, had found the Sirens. They were ordering at a Mexican food restaurant named Taco Bill. He waited for the girls to return in their van, then waited for them inside.
“Who the fuck are you?!” asked Adagio. “And what are you doing in my van?!”
“I’m here on Grogar’s request” answered Moonlight. “I’ve got for order to bring the 3 of you back to him”
“Grogar?” asked Adagio. “You are kidding, right? Grogar is dead since thousands of years!!”
“He’s very well alive” answered Moonlight.
The air around the girls suddenly became chilly. Moonlight’s mood went from nice to menacing in a second. The Dazzlings activated their pendants.
“I really don’t want to fight fellow villains” said Moonlight. “I’d prefer if you followed me without making any story.”
“We gave up on our evil ways” said Adagio. “We are not villains anymore.”
“So, why do you still have those necklaces of yours?” asked Moonlight. “If you truly gave up on your evil ways, then you would have discarded those as well. Deep down inside you, i know you still want the world to burn. Our Father Grogar can help you realizing your deepest fantasies.”
“He might be the one who created us” said Aria Blaze. “But that doesn’t mean we have to obey him.”
“Beside, you clearly hate him too” said Sonata. “It’s obvious you can’t stand Grogar. So why do you serve him so faithfully?”
“He’s necessary to my plan” answered Moonlight. “I will tell you more about it, if you follow me, of course!”
The girls looked at each other and nodded.
“Well, we clearly don’t have a choice” said Adagio. “Very well, bring us to his lair.”
Moonlight smiled and took the driver seat. He opened a portal in front of him using a magic stone, then drove through the portal, which was leading to Grogar’s lair, an abandonned castle somewhere in Transylvanny. Him and the girls got out of the van and walked inside the castle, until they reached the throne room, where Grogar was sitting confortably.
“I was expecting nothing more from you, Moonlight” said Grogar. “Welcome back, my dear Daughters!”
“Hi, Daddy!!!” shouted Sonata.
“Even as a human” said Aria. “He’s still imposing and menacing”
“Where’s Sunny?” asked Moonlight.
“She’s on a mission as well” answered Grogar. “I tasked her with recruiting more villains to my Legion. At this moment, she should already be fighting one of them.”
Somewhere in the middle of an amusement park, Sunny was chasing after Sombra. She finally caught up to him and smiled. Sombra let out a sigh.
“So, the old fart is finally coming for me” he said. “I knew it would happen someday, so i prepared myself to face him, or one of his underlings. I won’t go without a fight!!”
“That’s what i like to hear” said Sunny. “Try to entertain me, okay, handsome?”
Sunny attacked Sombra with a torrent of black flames, that he deflected with a shadow crystal wall. The black flames destroyed a stand, severely injuring 3 people standing nearby and killing the stand holder. The people around immediately ran away, terrorized, screaming loudly. Sunny was laughing devilishly, enjoying the destruction and suffering she was causing.
“Stop it!” said Sombra. “I’m your opponent!”
“What? Do you really care about those miserable creatures?” asked Sunny. “Fine, if fighting somewhere empty is what it takes to have you fight seriously, then be it!!”
Sunny transported Sombra in the middle of a city she already destroyed in the past.
“There is nothing here” said Sunny. “You can go all out, handsome!”
“She’s clearly missing some brain cells” thought Sombra. “She’s crazy, and weirdly, i like that. No, now is not the time to simp, i’ll defeat her, then bring her back at my house.”
Sunny grew dragon wings in her back and turned her forearms into dragon ones. She rushed at Sombra, grabbed him and flew high in the sky. She saw a plane flying nearby and threw Sombra into it. Using his magic, he deviated his trajectory and avoided touching the plane. Sunny appeared right over him, grabbed him again, and dove at high speed toward the ground.
“Are you insane?!” asked Sombra. “You’ll kill both of us!!”
Sunny laughed like a psychopath as they were heading to the ground. Sombra suddenly turned the tide at the last moment and only Sunny crashed into the ground, while Sombra created a shadow crystal slide to land safely. He then went to see the spot where Sunny crashed, expecting to find a bloody mess. At his surprise, he only found a pile of ashes.
“Ashes?” said Sombra. “She should be a bloody mess!”
The ashes started glowing and Sunny materialized from them. Her upper body was covered of dragon scales while the lower region was covered of feathers. Her legs were covered of scales, her feets were bird ones. As for her arms, they were covered of feathers, and her hands were dragon ones. Her right wing was one of a bird, the left one, of a dragon. Two dragon horns grew on her forehead, and her hairs had been replaced by feathers. Her eyes were those of a bird and her ears, those of a dragon. Her teeths became all sharp and pointy, like those of a dragon. To complete her look, dragon scales were covering the side of her face and her neck. Only the face had still human features.
“What are you?” asked Sombra.
“I’m the ultimate life form!!” answered Sunny, smiling devilishly. “Grogar created me thousands of years ago by mixing the blood of a Dragon and a Phoenix into the body of a Unicorn. He then infused Chimera magic and Chimera blood to my body. Chimera magic allows me to shift parts of my body into those of a dragon, a phoenix, or both. Chimera Blood allows me to use the magic abilities/powers of both dragon and phoenixes at the same time, at all time. What you see now is my unleashed form”
“So, you have the power of reviving yourself, like the phoenix” said Sombra. “This is why you weren’t afraid to die with me earlier. You knew you would just ressurect afterward. You are basically immortal...”
“Yes, i am” said Sunny “My immortality, my mastery of fire magic, my whole name, my deep connection to the Sun, and having the abilities and powers of a Dragon and a Phoenix, two creatures associated to the Fire Element, earned my the name of Amateratsu, the Goddess of the Sun.”
Sunset Shimmer and Flash arrived at the amusement park, only to find it closed.
“It’s closed?!” asked Sunset. “It was supposed to be open today!!”
She got off the car and looked for a security guard posted near the gates. She found one and asked him why the park was closed. The guard told her that a terrorist attack happened earlier, killing one person and injuring many others. Sunset turned her head and saw a woman sitting on the pavement, traumatized. She touched the person to read her memories and learned that the responsibles were a girl using fire magic and a man using crystal magic. She returned in the car and told Flash what she learned.
“Two persons wielding magic?” asked Flash.
“Yes” answered Sunset. “And i’m pretty sure one of them is one of the two cloaked individuals that kept sending those monster after us.”
Back to Sunny and Sombra, the two were still duking it out. Sombra was doing his best to keep up, but Sunny had the upper hand, as she could counter all of his abilities. First, with her dragon blood, she could eat Sombra’s shadow crystals, and she was unaffected by his fear magic. She was also physically stronger than him and could fly.
”What a monster” thought Sombra, exhausted. ”She’s like a wildfire that rages relentlessly, destroying everything in it’s path. I’m exhausted and almost out of magic, while she’s still fresh as a rose. If this fight goes on, i’ll get killed. I can’t escape, and i can’t hope to win, the only thing i can do is to surrender.”
“You seem to have reached your limit” said Sunny. “You certainly realized by now the difference in power between you and me”
“I have no chance to win” said Sombra. “I surrender... Do anything you want with me...”
Sunny opened a portal using an artifact.
“This portal lead to Grogar’s castle” she said. “Get in, i have more business to take care of”
She threw Sombra inside the portal and shutted it afterwards. She looked inside Grogar’s magic crystal to discover the whereabouts of her next target, Tirek. Sombra, him, crashed face first on the floor.
“See?” said Grogar. “What did i told you? Sunny’s got it!”
“Get up” said Moonlight. “And get some rest for now, a room is awaiting you”
Moonlight teleported Sombra in one of the room.
“Stygian and Chrysalis won’t be much trouble for Sunny” said Moonlight. “She can deal with them without breaking a sweat. But Tirek, Discord and Cosmos are in a class of their own. Tirek can steal magic and both Discord and Cosmos can use Chaos magic, a magic that allow them to do basically anything. Allow me to assist her, Father. She might be immortal, but she’s not very clever. She’ll need my help”
“Fine” said Grogar. “I’ll allow you to go help her later”
“Thank you, Father” said Moonlight. “Now, if you allow me, i’m going to properly welcome our new guest”
Grogar let him do so. Moonlight headed for Sombra’s room and entered in it.
“There’s nothing in this room to entertain me!!” shouted Sombra. “No internet, no cable, nothing!!”
“Do you know how much it would cost to get Internet and Cable here?” asked Moonlight. “Were inside a goddamn castle, you know! If you want wifi, you’ll have to go somewhere else to get it.”
“That aside” said Sombra. “Is there a reason why you broke into my room?”
“There is something i need to discuss with you” said Moonlight.
Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry had agreed to go watch a movie to the theatre, after their original project fell short. As for Applejack, she got all the afternoon for herself and decided to spend it with Applebloom by going to a Rodeo. Rarity was still working on her dresses, as usual. Rainbow Dash crashed into Fluttershy’s house, then took her to see a concert happening downtown. Pinkie Pie went on a trip with Maud, Limestone and Marble Pie to explore mysterious caves not far outside the limits of the city. Finally, Twilight and Spike were invited by Shining Armor, Cadence and Flurry Heart to assist to a big Scientific Expo at Manehattan. After the movie ended, Flash proposed where they should go next when he suddenly got a call from his mom.
“Well, i guess this is the end of our date” said Flash. “If we can call it one...My parents are going out of town for a couple days on a business trip, and they bring me along with them. Do you want me to drive you home?”
“No thanks” answered Sunset. “I’ve appreciated our day, even if it didn’t happened like expected. Have a good time with your family!”
Flash hugged her and got in his car, then left. Sunset let out a sigh and sat on a nearby bench. She looked through her contacts, but all were not available at the moment.
“Maybe i should pay a visit to princess Twilight” said Sunset.
She suddenly had a vision of two birds chasing each other in the sky. One was a phoenix and the other, a falcon.
“That’s weird” she thought. “I feel like it was a vision. But why is it about birds?”
Meanwhile, Sunny had already found the whereabouts of Chrysalis and was chasing her in the sky, under the form of a phoenix.
“Stop moving, you bitch!!” said Sunny, angry. “I have to bring you back to Grogar!!”
“Make me!!” answered Chrysalis. “Nobody ever caught me!! And this isn’t going to change today!!”
“And nobody ever escaped me, darling!!” said Sunny. “Oh, i just remembered something!”
She turned back into a human, but kept bird wings. Multiple spots of light appeared on Chrysalis’ body after Sunny made a motion with her finger.
“You see” said Sunny. “Before you escaped my grasp earlier, I had time to stuck some of my explosive scales on your body.”
“Explosive..scales?!” said Chrysalis. “That’s cheating!”
A series of explosion injured Chrysalis badly, causing her to crash in a nearby lake. Sunny recovered her body and used one of her magic feathers to heal Chrysalis. She opened a portal and threw her inside it. She was welcomed by Moonlight and Grogar on the other side.
“After Chrysalis, my next target is Stygian” said Sunny. “Grogar told me that Stygian’s magic used shadows...Let me look on Internet for any incident implying a shadow monster...”
Sunny spent an hour reading articles on internet concerning Stygian, until she finally found something useful. It was a report about a series of bank robbery commited, per the description of witnesses and victims, by a Shadow Tentacular creature. She then asked the person who wrote the article about the date of the last robbery and the place it happened. The person replied a couple minutes after with the answers she was looking for.
“I don’t see any pattern” said Sunny. “Meaning i can’t predict where he’s going to strike next. However, the last robbery was commited just a couple hours ago, in New-Horsey.”
She opened a portal to New-Horsey with her amulet and jumped in. She reappeared on the roof of the bank and got down without being seen. At Canterlot, Sunset returned home, and was eating chips while watching an action movie. She suddenly had another vision, of a shadow creature fighting off a dragon girl.
“Again?” she said to herself. “Last time was two birds flying in the sky. Now, it’s two freaks fighting each other!!”
She paused the movie and went to the kitchen to get more snacks. Back a New-Horsey, Sunny had been asking citizens about the whereabout of the shadow monster, but none gave her a clear answer. It’s by sheer luck that she came across his hiding place, after she tripped on a rock.
“Stealing money is so easy when you have magic, and others don’t!!” said Stygian, laughing.
“I don’t know about that...” said Sunny. “I prefer terrorism, murder and violent crimes!!”
Stygian transformed into a shadow monster. Sunny smiled and spewed fire out of her mouth, like a dragon, burning a pile of money nearby. That enraged the young man even more.
“No!! My money!!!” yelled Stygian. “You’re going to pay for this!!”
Sunny grew dragon wings on her back and turned her arms and legs into dragon ones. She grabbed him from below and dragged him in the air. Before throwing him in a tower, she stuck dozen of explosive scales on his body. Stygian grew shadow wings on his body and flew toward Sunny, smacking her against a building. When the dust scattered, Stygian saw that Sunny had been impaled by a loose metal bar.
“Not bad, kid” said Sunny, smiling. “But you’ve still got a lot to learn!!”
She snapped her neck and turned to dust, under Stygian’s surprised face. A few seconds later, Sunny reappeared from the ashes. Stygian’s expression went from surprise to pure horror.
“Unfortunately for you, i’m immortal!” said Sunny. “Now, it’s my turn!!”
Sunny made the scales on Stygian’s body explode all at once, dissipating the shadow armor around him and leaving him weakened and vulnerable. Sunny grabbed him before he fell down and hold him against her body.
“From today and as long as you live, you’re my plaything!” said Sunny. “You’re so cute and oh boy, you’re packing quite the beast down here...”
“I suppose it’s better than being locked in prison” said Stygian. “Where are you bringing me?”
“My secret den” said Sunny. “Mama need to try out her new boytoy”
“Oh dear” said Stygian.
Sunny opened a portal leading to her den. As one could expect, it was built inside a volcano.
“It’s really hot!” said Stygian.
“Is it?” asked Sunny. “Oh right, i forgot that heat have no effect on me. In that case, you better remove ALL your clothes.”
Sunny ripped off Stygian’s clothes, leaving him in his underwears, with a huge boner.
“Now, it’s time for your cock and ball flattening session!!” said Sunny.
“Wait, what?!” said Stygian, horrified. “Please no!!”
“You puny humans aren’t into that stuff?” asked Sunny.
“Some are into it” answered Stygian. “Us, humans, have all sorts of kinks, mine is being dominated by a girl.”
“So, you like being dominated by a female...” said Sunny. “In that case, you must be familiar with the Amazon position”
Back at Canterlot, Sunset Shimmer was taking a shower. Suddenly, she got a vision of the same people she saw in the previous one having rough sex. Sunset blushed of embarrassement and bumped her head against the shower door to get rid of the vision. Back at Grogar’s castle, him and Moonlight were watching the whole sex scene with mixed reactions and feelings. Grogar was into it, where as Moonlight was embarrassed.
“I suppose it’s one way to dominate your enemy” said Moonlight.
“Hey guys!! Said Sombra. What’s with those face? What are you watching?”
Moonlight showed him the live feed.
“Isn’t it the same girl that beat me up?” asked Sombra. “Lucky bastard.”
“And she’s fucking him in the Amazon position!!” said Chrysalis, transformed into a cat. “I’m starting to have respect for that girl.”
The Dazzlings showed up as well.
“Oh!!” said Sonata. “A porn movie! Sweet!!”
“I’m going back to my room” said Adagio.
Aria grabbed Sonata’s arm and pulled her away.
“Alright, Sonata” she said. “Let the males enjoy themselves”
Moonlight grabbed Sonata, Adagio and Aria all at once.
“If you’re looking for me” said Moonlight. “I’m going to relief myself”
“Oh my god!!” said Sonata. “He’s totally gonna fuck us!!”
“As if he could handle the 3 of us!” said Adagio, laughing.
Sombra and Grogar looked at Chrysalis with lust.
“On one side, i’m into older guys” said Chrysalis. “On the other, i’m not sure if i could take two”
Pinkie Pie broke the Fourth Wall by pulling the point of view to her.
“I’m pretty sure you know what’s going to happen next” she said. “I’m going to wrap up this chapter on a less erotic note. Me and my sisters are having so much fun!!”
Sunny was back at Grogar’s lair, carrying a totally drained Stygian on her shoulder. Grogar, Sombra, Chrysalis, the Sirens and Moonlight were waiting for her.
“What’s with those embarrassed faces of yours?” asked Sunny.
“We saw everything” answered Moonlight.
“The fight?” asked Sunny.
“Not just the fight” answered Grogar.
“You left the magic crystal on” said Chrysalis. “So we kinda saw your whole mating session with this guy”
“Oops!” said Sunny, smiling. “This is a side of me i’m sure you’d have prefered not to see.”
“Let’s change subject” said Moonlight. “Father?”
“Indeed” said Grogar. “Moonlight’s going to assist you for the next half of your mission”
“Those 3 are small fries compared to the last 3 opponents you’ll face” said Moonlight. “No offense, you guys. What i mean is that our next opponents can’t be beaten with just brute force alone. We’ll need a good strategy to defeat the last 3. This is where i come in!”
“A mission with just the two of us?” said Sunny. “That’s going to be interesting...”
“I almost feel bad for our enemies” said Moonlight. “Almost.... Ha ha ha!!!”
“Our next target is Tirek, right?” asked Sunny. “I heard he can grow buffer the more magic he steals...But i wonder if it also make his pen...”
“For the rating of this story, it is a meaningless detail” said Moonlight “But yes, that include his genitals as well.”
He saw Sunny’s horny expression and facepalmed himself.
“Just thinking about his giant, massive cock rearranging my guts, make me so wet!” she said.
“Don’t be stupid, Sis” said Moonlight. “There is no way you can take it”
“Please stop talking” said Grogar. “Just leave already!”
The duo disappeared inside a portal and reappeared outside. Sunny used Grogar’s crystal to look for Tirek, who was roaming in a semi-deserted land
“We see him, great!” said Moonlight. “Now, how do you pinpoint his position, genius?”
“Shut up” answered Sunny, who noticed an important detail. “You see dead animal he’s carrying? It’s a species that only lives in Australia.”
“You’re right” said Moonlight. “We know he’s in Australia, but it is a really large continent, he could be anywhere!!”
“So what?” said Sunny. “You’re the genius, figure something out!!”
Moonlight looked on the internet about Australia’s geography. After a couple of minutes, he came up with 4 potential areas where Tirek could be.
“Alright, let’s go” she said.
She opened a portal using an artifact and the two entered through it. They reappeared in the middle of a semi-desertic field and started looking for Tirek. Sunny grew wings and took off while Moonlight just walked around. After 2 hours of vain exploration, she passed to the next area on the map. Moonlight was taking things smoothly, observing the fauna and flora around. Sunny explored the third area, since she found nothing in the previous two. She decided to take a short break and landed on the ground.
“I’m hungry” she thought. “Well, let’s hunt!”
She used her keen smell to look for edible animals in the area. This is where she capted a strong, manly scent a few kilometers to the north.
“This is not the smell of an animal” she said. “That’s the smell of a man...It’s him!!”
She magically transformed into a phoenix and headed for the source of the scent. Her suspicions were confirmed moments later when she saw a tall, red, muscular man. The man had white spiky hairs and a black nose piercing.
“I found him!” she thought. “I have to tell Moonlight...Wait...maybe not right now.”
She was looking at his budge and started salivating. She took her human form and landed right in front of him.
“I was wondering when the old man would come for me” said Tirek. “What does he want?”
“He sent me to look for potential allies” answered Sunny. “So far, i already captured Sombra, Chrysalis and Stygian, and you’re the next on my list...”
“You think you can take me?!” asked Tirek. “Ha..!! Wait, what are you...”
Sunny started rubbing Tirek’s bulge with a lusty expression.
“Stop!” said Tirek. “If you keep rubbing my cock, i won’t be able to contain myself.”
She started kissing his bulge, then licked it.
“That’s it!!” he said. “You want my cock, you slut?! You’re gonna have it!!”
The shadow of his huge dick apperead on Sunny’s face. A few hours later, Moonlight found about Tirek’s location. He saw him and Sunny eating some meat together.

“I’m actually relieved” said Moonlight. “I personally prefer solving things without using force and violence.”
“But, we could have a friendly sparring session before returning to the castle” said Sunny. “You don’t mind fighting me, do you?”
“Well, i definitively want to see for myself how strong you are” answered Tirek.
“Let me handle him” said Moonlight. “You had your fun with him, now it’s my turn...I won’t hold anything back, Tirek, so do the same!”
“I know!!” said Tirek. Why don’t you two take me both at once?!”
“You might wanna reconsider that decision” answered Moonlight. “On our own, me and my sis are very very hard to beat, but when we team up together, no one stand a slim chance at defeating us.”
“Let’s see if you can back-up that claim!” said Tirek.
He suddenly grew up in size and muscles, becoming 3 times bigger than normal.
“Here i go!!” shouted Tirek.
Fast as lightning, Tirek landed two powerful strikes at the siblings. His attack phased right throught Moonlight, but hit Sunny hard and she was sent flying back. As Tirek went for a second assault, Moonlight erected an ice column under the goliath, sending the giant flying in the air. Sunny shot a huge flame projectile at him, but Tirek dodged middair, before hitting the ground. Relentless, Tirek charged toward Sunny, who turned her arms into dragon arms. She grabbed his two fist, stopping the attack. While the titan was immobilized, Moonlight was collecting moisture from the air, charging a powerful attack.
“I’m impressed you can match my strenght!” Said Tirek.
Sunny turned her legs into dragon legs to gain more strenght. She quickly started to physically overpower Tirek.
“Black Ice Cannonball!!!” shouted Moonlight.
Immediately after, a magic projectile made of black ice headed for Tirek. Sunny released her grasp and jumped out of the way. The projectile hit Tirek head-on, causing a huge explosion on impact.
“Is this Sombra’s magic you’re using?” asked Tirek, who shook off the ice crystals from his skin and hairs.
“Yes and no. I guess it’s trivia time!!” answered Moonlight. “Sombra is an Umbrum, A magical race of evil, mean-spirited shadow creatures that lives in darkness. As such, the magic he uses is Umbrum one. Umbrum magic can be used to disrupt other beings magic, done by creating Black Crystals. It can also corrupt minds, by exploting one’s fear. And i’m barely scratching the surface here. King Sombra himself only exploited about 20% of it’s race magic potential”
“So, that mean you are an Umbrum too?” asked Tirek.
“I’m half-umbrum, actually” answered Moonlight. “Grogar used forbidden magic to extract the life essence of an Umbrum, then infused it into my unicorn body, using another forbidden spell. That’s the reason why i can use their magic. I also got the magic essence of another magic creature in me, but that’s not important right now”
“As for me” said Sunny. “I’m actually sort of a chimera, since i got the blood of 3 different creatures in my body: Unicorn blood, Dragon blood and Phoenix blood. Unicorn blood allows me to use and cast magic, Dragon blood gives me superhuman strenght, immunity against any form of heat source, allows me to eat crystal and breathe fire, grants me increased stamina, speed and magic resistance and boost my firepower overall. Phoenix blood give me immortality, and that’s about it, really. So, can we continue this fight or what?”
Tirek went straight for Sunny, going for a Cross-Chop attack. He hit her head-on and splitted her body in half. That left Moonlight an opening to strike Tirek with a giant ice hammer on the head. A few seconds later, Sunny revived from her ashes, perfectly healty. Tirek shook his head and smiled at the duo.
“I see it now” he thought. “The reason why they make a deadly duo. While Sunny is baiting the enemy by attacking or taking hits, Moonlight carefully look for an opening and strike as soon as one shows up. If an attack kill her, she will just revive a few 5 seconds after. The longer the fight goes on, the more an enemy is at a disadvantage.”
Sunny took off, flying high in the sky. She then dove down at supersonic speed, intending on knocking out Tirek in one blow. But at the last moment, Tirek dodged her supersonic cross-chop attack. Before she hit the ground, he grabbed her by the legs, using the momentum to throw her back in the air. Tirek ripped a chunck of the earth and threw it at Moonlight. This one phased right through by turning into a shadow mist. Right as he turned back to a solid form, Tirek punched him from behind. His fist hit Moonlight’s body, which liquified into a black puddle of shadows.
“A clone?!” said Tirek.
“Predictable!” said Moonlight.
This one came out from the shadow of a tree and smashed Tirek with a giant ice club. At the same time, Sunny came back from being throw in the sky. She was about to punch him with her right fist, but Tirek had enough time to block her attack with a punch. The clash of their fist caused a huge explosion of pure magic energy. When the smoke dissipated, Sunny and Tirek were still standing. Tirek’s punching arm was completely burned to a crisp as Sunny’s one was perfectly fine.
“Nice punch!” said Tirek. “You completely shattered my left arm”
“I’m so sorry!!” said Sunny. “This attack was aimed at the ground! I thought you would dodge it!!”
She plucked a feather from her right wing and infused her magic essence in it. She then applied it on Tirek’s arm, healing it completely.
“Amazing!” said Tirek, moving his healed arm. “My arm was completely charred and shattered a second ago!”
“Count yourself lucky, pal” said Moonlight. “She doesn’t uses her magic to heal others very often.”
“Take this as a mark of appreciation from me” said Sunny. “Now, let’s get back to the castle”
The trio returned to the castle via a portal opened by Moonlight.
“It must have been a decade since i last slept inside anything other than caves or a makeshift shelter” said Tirek. “Anyway, i hope you have a good reason for bringing me back to civilization, old man!”
“I’ll explain everything once everyone will be there!” said Grogar. “And good job, you two”
“That left us Discord and Cosmos to recruit” said Moonlight. “I propose we start with Discord. We can certainly convince him to come with us peacefully.”
Grogar left his throne and opened a portal. He looked at Sunny and the others reunited, who were shocked to see him stand up.
“Don’t worry about Cosmos, i’ll take care of her myself” he said. “She owe me a big favor and i intend to make her pay it back. Moonlight, you keep the castle while i’m gone. Sunny, you look for Discord”
“Naturally” said Moonlight. “I’ll be watching over the others while you’re away”
“I will bring Discord back!” said Sunny. “Man, i sure hope i don’t screw this up”
“You better not screw this up!!” said Grogar. “If you fail to bring him back to my castle...Well, you already know what the punishment will be, don’t you, darling?”
“I won’t fail!!” shouted Sunny. “I don’t want to go through that again!!”
Grogar left through the portal he opened. Sunny used Grogar’s crystal to look for Discord.
“He seems to be in a casino” said Sunny. “But there is thousands of them in the world.”
“Judging by how well he is dressed and how extravagant the deco around him looks like” said Chrysalis. “I’d say he’s in a famous, high-end casino.”
“He’s in Las Pegasus” said Sombra. “The drink he’s holding is a specialty of the Lucky Devil casino. I know it because i’ve been here once with old friends and they ordered me one. The theme of tonight is couples, so i think Sunny should take one of us with her, to blend into the masses. I think i would be the most obvious choice since i know this casino well. A muscly guy like Tirek, who lived in the wild for a long time, would probably blend in the masses as well as a wolf would among a herd of sheeps. Moonlight would be the ideal parner for you, unfortunately, he have to keep the castle in Grogar’s absence and can’t assist you on this mission. As for Stygian, given his recent bank robbery spree, he’s definitively not someone you should bring in a place where there’s billions of dollars to steal. Like i said earlier, i’m the best pick for the mission.”
“He’s not wrong” said Tirek. “I’ve been living apart from society for over a decade. I’m only going to draw unwanted attention to us with my poor social skills.”
“I’m banned from this casino anyway” said Stygian. “It’s not like i can go with her even if i wanted to”
“Let me guess” said Sombra. “Pulled a heist and failed?”
“No” answered Stygian. “I kinda...threw it’s previous owner through a window, from the highest story of the establishment. Suffice to say, he didn’t survived the fall...He he he. For info, the guy was a huge piece of shit and deserved it”
“I don’t judge you” said Sunny, holding him against her breast. “I can’t remember how many people i killed in a fit of rage”
“Surprisingly, not that many” said Moonlight. “Considering the huge amount of destruction you’ve caused since we got there, and for the pettiest of reasons, at that. For example, back in Ancient Egypt, you exploded a whole pyramid after the Pharaoh made fun of your fashion choice. Another time, you destroyed an entire section of the Colosseum because the man you rooted for didn’t won the Roman Olympics. And this is only two among the hundreds of Historical momunents, restaurants, villages, cities, castles and buildings you either blew up, burned down or straight up destroyed. It’s a miracle your body count is so low.”
“Uh-Hum!! Now, to come back to what we were talking earlier” said Sombra “We have a mission to fulfill, Sunny, go get dressed up and join me at the entrance. And put on something more distinguished than this horrible red sundress you’re wearing.
“Fuck you” said Sunny. “I think i prefer going with Chrysalis to this evening, now”
“Fuch yeah!!” said Chrysalis. “But this is a couple-themed evening, wouldn’t we draw attention as a same-sex couple?”
“You can shapeshift, right?” asked Sunny. “Transform into a random guy or whatever and that will solve the issue”
“Right, you’re right” answered Chrysalis.
She transformed into a male version of herself.
“I’m so conflicted right now” said Sombra.
“I’ll be waiting for you at the entrance!!” said Chrysalis. “Don’t leave me waiting too long!!”
While Moonlight and Sunny were out on their villain recruitment mission given by Grogar, and with all her friends still out of town, Sunset Shimmer was bored to death. She was laying in her bed, looking at the ceiling with an empty stare.
“I’m so bored!!” she shouted out loud. “All my friends are out of town, all of them! I have no one to spend time with!!”
She got a message, from Trixie, that she straight up ignored and deleted
“Like i said, i’m alone, i’m all alone!!” she said, despaired
She got another message, this time from Wallflower Blush.
“As i said!!” she shouted. “I’m on my own!!”
Sunset Shimmer closd her eyes. Then, she suddenly got up, left her room and walked down the stairs. Once outside, she headed for the C.H.S statue. Ten minutes later, she arrived in front of the portal. As she was about to enter it, someone appeared from the other side, bumping into her.
“Ouch!” said Sunset. “Are you okay...Wait...Twilight?!”
“Hi!” she said “I went there to look for you!”
“Really? Why?” asked Sunset.
“I’ll explain it to you later!!” answered the princess, visibly worried.
She grabbed Sunset by the arm and pulled her inside the portal. They reappeared inside Canterlot’s throne room.
“You look really worried” said Sunset. “What’s the problem?”
“The situation is really, really bad right now!!” said Twilight.
“How bad?” asked Sunset.
“How bad?!” answered Twilight. “To the point i need you to help me!!”
Sunset peaked into Twilight’s mind and saw what the problem was.
“It’s bad indeed” she said.
“Apparently, King Vorak died a week ago and the next in succession is Tirek” said Twilight. “The problem is, Tirek is in our custody, Locked up in Tartarus. The Centaur Kingdom want him back, and they are ready to go to war with Equestria to do so”
“Then why don’t you give him back to them?” asked Sunset.
“Because Tirek escaped Tartarus years ago and he’s nowhere to be seen” answered Twilight. “Do you see why the situation is so bad? Imagine if i did give back Tirek to them, what do you think he would do once he became king?!! Whether i choose to keep Tirek in our custody or give him to them, this will result in a war. The centaurs are powerful opponents, fierce warriors. Sure, we do have the Dragon, Griffins, Hyppogriffs, Changelings and Yaks as allies and they’re all willing to assist us in case of a war. But this war will result in a bloodbath on both sides and i don’t want that...”
“I know this might come out of nowhere” asked Sunset. “But i missed a lot on Equestria history as you can guess. Mind refreshing my memory?”
“Really?” answered Twilight. “Well, i suppose you did miss a lot of stuff since your banishment. I’ve written everything that happened in Equestria in this book”
Sunset opened the book and started reading. It began with the return of Nightmare Moon and Twilight and her friends connecting with the Elements of Harmony to defeat her. Then, the next big event was Queen Chryalis’s invasion of Canterlot on the day of Shining Armor and Princess Cadance’s wedding. Resulting in the death of Shining Armor, Twilight’s beloved big brother. Chrysalis was ultimately forced to retreat against an heart-broken, raging Cadance decimating her subjects. The next big threat was King Sombra, who reappeared after an exil of one thousand years, but was ultimately dealt with thanks to Spike saving the Crystal Heart and putting it back to it’s place. Much later was Luna and Celestia’s disparition, which lead to Twilight and friends to discover the Tree of Harmony. Apparently, it was caused by magic seeds planted in the ground by Discord a thousand years ago, seconds before he was banished in another dimension by the two princesses. To stop it and save the princesses, they had to return the Elements of Harmony to the Tree. Later, Tirek escaped Tartarus and went on a rampage, stealing magic from ponies. But he was immediately stopped by Celestia and Luna and sent back into his prison.
“I’m sorry for your brother” said Sunset.
“Thanks” said Twilight. “But i already overcame the grief of his death long ago.”
Sunset continued reading the book. After Tirek’s failed attempt to conquier Equestria, there was Chrysalis’s return. The Queen, after passing months building a massive army of Changelings, declared war on the Crystal Empire and Canterlot. But many of them had second thoughts and refused to battle for her. Those Changelings joined side with the Crystal Empire, Thorax being the leader of the opposition. Cadence was opposed to it at first, still grieving from losing her husband to them. But it changed when she realized that they had love in their heart. As the Princess of love, she had to help everyone that needed it, even the creatures that took the love of her life. Also, because of his betrayal, Chrysalis had to report her invasion for later. During that time, after being exposed to love in permanence, the changelings started to change physically and mentally, Their wings turned blue and they weren’t hungry for love anymore. Cadence and Thorax developped a strong connection, which led Thorax to ultimately confess his love to Cadence. She was surprised by it, but even more so when Thorax transformed in front of her. After seeing Thorax’ new appearence, Cadence realized the true nature of the Changelings. She proceeded to reform each of the rogue Changelings, with Thorax’ help. Then Chrysalis finally invaded the Crystal Empire and a violent battle ensued between reformed Changelings and non-reformed ones. Thorax and Cadence finally confronted Chrysalis, trying to persuade her to change her ways. But Chrysalis stayed adamant about her convictions and nearly killed Thorax. Cadence, not wanting to lose another person close to her again, lost it and killed the queen after a violent duel. Her brutal death, instead of discouraging her subjects, enraged them. Shortly. Thorax, who recovered, was forced to face his own brother, Pharynx, and kill him to protect the one he loved. The war ended with the almost complete eradication of Chrysalis’ loyal subjects. But as they were looking for Chrysalis’ corpse, they were shocked to discover that they didn’t, in fact, killed her, but one of her loyal subject, who took her appearance. The queen, her, was nowhere to be seen and wasn’t seen again since. After this troubling event, Thorax left the Crystal Empire with the other Changelings. They were going back to their Kingdom, with the promise of building a new, better one, based on the value of Love and Friendship. Cadence offered her help to make it happen. Sunset took a pause and looked at Twilight.
“Cadence remarried with Thorax, did she?” she asked.
“Yes” answered Twilight. “And i’m happy for them.”
Sunset continued reading the book. After the Changeling Civil War, things were calm for a while. One day, as she was having a brunch with Thorax, this one told her that one of his subjects came across a remote village where all the people were acting strangely. That picked Twilight’s interest and curiosity. With her 5 friends, she headed for the village in question. Once there, they met a mare named Starlight Glimmer and the townspeople, who were all wearing the same Cutie Mark for some reason. Finding things suspicious, Twilight dug deeper into the mystery and discovered that Starlight brainwashed everypony in this town. Starlight however caught up to them and imprisonned them. Fluttershy convinced Starlight that she wanted to join her side. She later discovered that Starlight’s Cutie Mark was a fake, and how she stole other ponies Cutie Marks with a forbidden relic. After telling her friends about this, Starlight captured them, stealing their Cutie Mark, but thanks to unexpected help, they were able to get their Cutie Marks back. Starlight Glimmer chose to retreat rather than be captured and had not reappeared since.
“Wait, Starlight Glimmer?” said Sunset, surprised.
“Do you know her?!” said Twilight
“I do!!” answered Sunset. “She’s one of my collegues at my job!!”
“Wait...What?!!” said Twilight.
“Well, she was, at least” said Sunset. “She vanished without leaving a trace”
“She must be up to something” said Twilight.
Sunset continued reading the book. After Starlight vanished, things were calm. A few months later, Twilight created the School of Friendship, inspired by Celestia’s advices. Though she faced multiple problems, most of them coming from Chancellor Neighsay or the students themselves, things were going fine. Then, one day, magic started to disappear at an alarming rate. This phenomenon was the work of one of our student, an ambitious filly named Cozy Glow. Twilight and her friends later learned that Tirek worked with Cozy Glow to pull this off. As all hope seemed lost, due to the Mane 6 being locked in Tartarus, 6 extraordinary students saved the day with the magic of their friendship, exposing Cozy Glow’s true nature to everyone. The filly was quickly surrounded by all sides, unable to escape. For her punishment, Celestia wanted to send her in Tartarus with Tirek, Luna wanted to send her to the Moon. But Twilight was against both punishment, that she judged harsh for a child. She proposed to send her in the same world Sunset went years ago and after a long debate, everyone agreed with Twilight’s idea. Cozy Glow was sent in the human world, were the other Celestia would take care of her.
“By the way, how is Cozy Glow?” asked Twilight.
“She’s fine” answered Sunset. “She’s not evil anymore, but damn is she a brat!!!”
Sunset was on the last pages of the book. Months after Cozy Glow’s events happened, Celestia and Luna announced their retirement from the throne. For a year, Twilight was taught by the princesses all she needed to know about being a good leader. On the day of the coronnation, the castle was attacked by two powerful enemies: Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker, Luna and Celestia’s evil forms. If this wasn’t enough, Sombra and the Pony of Shadow, who were sealed in another dimension, ressurfaced. But instead of bringing chaos to Equestria, they just vanished somewhere else never to be seen again. As for the imminent threat, Twilight and her friends used the magic of not only their friendship, but also the one of all those they befriended along the way. Satisfied by what her student had achieved, Celestia and Luna took down their disguise and told Twilight this was her final exam, and she passed it with ease. Later, Twilight officially became Equestria’s new ruler and nothing happened since.
“I sure missed a lot” said Sunset. “But now that i’m up to date, let’s tackle that problem of yours. I might have just the solution to make both sides happy”
Sunset explained her plan to Twilight, who facehoofed herself due to the idea being so obvious. Skipping to the next day, Twilight was holding Tirek with a necklace made of anti-magic stone, a gift of Thorax, heading for the Centaur Kingdom. A few hours later, they arrived at the gates of the kingdom. The guards opened the door and let them pass. They were then escorted to the castle, where Queen Haydon and Scorpan were waiting for his arrival.
“Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship and current ruler of Equestria, has arrived” said a centaur. “She’s accompanied by another unicorn and your son, Tirek.”
When Twilight entered the throne room with Tirek and Sunset, Queen Haydon went to hug her son. Tirek pushed her back roughly.
“Get off, you annoying bitch!” said Tirek.
“Brother!!” said Scorpan. “This is not a way to treat your mother.”
“I have nothing to hear from you, backstabber!!” said Tirek. “I’ve rotten in the pits of hell for thousand of years because of you!! And you never did so much as raise a finger to free me!!”
“I’m glad you took the right decision, Princess Twilight” said Scorpan. “Can i speak to you in private?”
“Sure!” she answered.
Twilight created a dome around them.
“There, we can speak freely!” she said. “What do you want to tell me?”
“Who is he?” asked Scorpan.
“What do you mean?” said Twilight. “This is Tirek!”
“No” said Scorpan. “I know it’s not him, the aura emanating from him is different from the one of my brother. Tirek’s aura is pure hatred and untamed rage. But the aura i feel from that individual is the polar opposite, an aura of love and kindness. Tell me the truth, Princess. I want to know what is your plan here, i know you have one...”
Twilight let out a sigh and explained her plan to Scorpan, who was delighted by it’s simplicity.
“So, that’s your plan...” he said. “Your genius surprise me, Princess...I’ll help you the best i can...”
Twilight took down the dome.
“So, we brought you your son!!” asked Twilight. “What’s next?”
“He’s going to be crowned king” answered Haydon. “I don’t like the idea of him becoming our leader, but that was the will of my late Husband, King Vorak. Him too was not okay with that decision, but the tradition want a Centaur to be the King.”
“Excuse my words, your highness” said Twilight “But fuck the traditions!! You and i both know that Tirek becoming king will bring nothing but disaster. His hatred for ponykind and lust for magic power will lead your kingdom to ruins.”
“I agree with you, Princess Twilight” said Haydon. “However, this is the will of my husband, i have no choice but to go with it. Tirek will become King today. Now, free my son from his chains.”
“Suck it, Princess” said Tirek. “You made a mistake by bringing me there!! Once i’m crowned king, i’m going to declare war on Equestria. Your magic will be mine for the taking!!”
Tirek winked at Twilight, who then winked at Scorpan. The crowning ceremony started one hour later, and all the kingdom was reunited to see their new King be crowned. In the meantime, Scorpan had informed her mother of Twilight’s plan and she was more than happy to assist her with it. Then the fateful moment arrived...Tirek showed up in front of the crowd, from high above the ground.
“Today is a great day!! Said Hayden. Today, My dear son, Lord Tirek, is going to be crowned king!!”
The crowd cheered him. Hayden was holding the crown in her hands and gave it to Tirek. The centaur put the crown on his head, then...
“Listen!! Subjects!!” said Tirek. “My first order as a king is to get rid of this stupid tradition!! Yes, i’m talking about the law about only Centaurs from the royal family can pretend to the throne. Today, i’m changing this law. Any member of the royal family can pretend to the throne. That include my Mother, Queen Hayden and my brother, Scorpan.”
The crowd was silent and shocked. Same as the royals.
“I don’t want to be king!! Said Tirek. My place is in a battlefield, fighting for my country, not on a throne doing nothing all day!! Who you want as your king is Scorpan!! As such, i hereby exile myself from this Kingdom forever, as soon as a new King will be crowned.”
Tirek abdicated in front of his people, causing mixed reactions in the crowd. He then gave the crown to Scorpan, who accepted it with tears in his eyes.
“All hail King Scorpan!!” shouted Tirek.
“Long live the King!!” shouted the crowd.
The ceremony ended shortly after, when they were sure to be alone, Twilight, Sunset, Hayden and Scorpan looked at Tirek, who took down the disguise, revealing to be Thorax himself.
“I can’t believe that worked!!” said Thorax. “Ah-Hum, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Thorax, King of the Changelings. Our species have the ability to shapeshift into anyone of anything we want. I was glad to help her prevent a conflict that could have resulted in a war”
“To be honest, that idea was not from me!!” said Twilight. “It’s my friend, Sunset Shimmer, who came up with that plan!!”
Everyone looked at Sunset Shimmer.
“It’s no big deal, really!” she said. “I’m just glad my plan prevented a war”
“You didn’t only prevented a war” said Scorpan “You gave our Kingdom a bright future!!”
“The people will open their minds to other races, eventually” said Hayden “It won’t be easy to undo generations of barbarian tradition, but i’m confident that, you, Princess Twilight, and you, my son, will be able to realize this lifelong dream of mine...”
Twilight received a message from Spike.
“Oh no!!” she said. “I have to return in Canterlot immediately!!! Queen Hayden, King Scorpan, i’ll visit you again soon!!”
She left the castle, followed by Sunset Shimmer. Thorax turned back into Tirek and, followed by Scorpan and Hayden, under the people’s eye, walked until he reached the gates.
“Tirek!” said Scorpan. “I hereby banish you from this Kingdom as long as you live!! I hate to do this to you, brother, but it was your will and i will respect it.”
“This Kingdom suck anyway!!” said Tirek. “Well, be well, Mother, Brother!!”
Tirek or rather Thorax, walked until nobody could see him and reverted back to his normal form.
“Well, i better return home” he said. “I’m craving for those cupcakes Pinkie Pie told me about.”
Chapter 5: Equestria at the verge of another crisis? Don't worry, Sunset got this.
Twilight arrived in the throne room, exhausted and stressed. Sunset arrived shortly after, also exhausted, and confused.
“Why did you summon me so suddenly, Spike?!” asked Twilight. “What’s the emergency?!”
She saw Spike laying face first against the floor.
“Sweet Celestia!!” she said. “Spike!!”
He wasn’t waking up. Twilight shook him, still no response from the dragon.
“Is he...?” asked Twilight, who was in tears. “No!!”
“He’s alive, Twilight, i still perceive brain activity in him” answered Sunset. “He’s most likely in a magic-induced coma.”
“Who could have done such a thing?” asked Twilight.
“Uh, Twilight?” said Sunset. “You might wanna have a look at this...”
She joined Sunset.
“It’s impossible” said Twilight. “Everyone in town is...”
“I think everyone in Equestria is in the same state than Spike” said Sunset. “We were only gone for a day, so whoever did that must be very powerful...”
“Only a really talented Alicorn or a draconequus would have the power to do that in such short amount of time.” said Twilight. “Celestia, Luna and Cadance would never do something like this, and Discord and Cosmos were banished in another dimension...”
Twilight tried to contact her allies from other kingdoms and tell them to come to Canterlot. Half an hour later, Cadance, Luna and Celestia arrived. Then shortly after, the Abbysinian King and Queen, Ember, Thorax and Queen Novo. Finally, Prince Rutherford and the Griffon Lord were the last to arrive. Twilight explained them the situation and all looked at each other.
“All my subjects are in the same state” said Cadence.
“Mine as well” said Thorax.
“So are my fellow dragons” said Ember.
“Same for Rutherford!!” said Rutherford.
“I’m afraid my fellows hippogryffs and seaponies are also in that state” said Novo.
“Same for the griffins!” said the Griffin Lord.
Sunset came up with something.
“Correct me if i’m wrong, but i’m seeing a pattern here” she said. “You are all leaders of a kingdom, right?”
“Now that you mention it...” said Twilight. “Everyone reunited here rule or have ruled over a kingdom.”
“But in this case, the centaurs should also have been...” said Sunset. “Unless...”
Twilight received a message from her friend Scorpan.
“Princess Twilight!!” he said, panicked. “It’s horrible!! My mother, as well as all my subjects, dropped dead out of nowhere!! I’m on my way to join you!!”
He shutted the transmission.
“It seem the one causing this is targeting kingdoms allied to Equestria” said Sunset. “I suppose at the time everypony dropped dead, we were on our way to the Centaur Kingdom. Now that Twilight and Scorpan are friends, his kingdom became a target.”
“Clearly this is the work of someone, or somepony, who despise Friendship, or you, Twilight Sparkle.” said Celestia.
“Outside of the villains we fought by the past” said Twilight. “I see no one able to hate me to the point of commiting mass- genocide toward my kind... And your kind”
“And who have that kind of power...” said Luna. “An alicorn could do that, but all of them are in the same room...Unless there is more that i haven’t heard of...”
“As well as a draconequus” said Celestia. “But the two we fought, Discord and Cosmos, were defeated and banished in another dimension.”
“There is a third one” said Luna “Eris...Discord’s cousin. Me and the Nightmare Knights defeated her in the past...”
“Eris?” asked Twilight.
“Did i hear my name?!” said a voice coming out of nowhere.
A bird-looking, humanoid creature with mismatched body parts appeared in the middle of the room.
“Her prettier, smarter and much, much more elegant cousin” said Eris. “I’m Eris, the Empress of Chaos!! I wanted to thank you for getting rid of that dumbass, as well as that sadistic bitch of Cosmos. With them out of my way, i’m the most powerful draconequus now! I’m unopposed!!”
While she was talking, Sunset touched her leg with her front right hoof and entered in a psychic transe. A few seconds later, she walked away.
“That’s interesting” said Sunset. “She’s the one responsible for putting asleep everyone, except us, but her motivations are not evil, far from it”
“Oh?” asked Eris. “How can you be so sure?”
“Your memories” said Sunset. “While you were blabbering, i took a peak in your mind.”
“Why would she do that?” asked Luna “If this is not for the sake of evil? Then what else?!”
“Tell them, Eris” said Sunset.
“Tell them what?” asked Eris.
“The reason you’re here” answered Sunset.
“I need you to solve a problem of mine” said Eris. “You see, another draconequus, who is Cosmos’ brother and also my ex-boyfriend, going by the name of Calypso, the Prince of Mischief. Fun trivia, all draconequus have a unique vassal title as reference. For example, Cosmos is refered, among our clan, as the Empress of Despair while Discord refer himself as the Lord of Chaos. As for me, i answer as the Princess of Chaos, and for good reason, because i’m the daughter of our clan leader, The Chaos King Ragnarok. Since Discord’s my cousin, that make him technically a member of the royal family...”
“That’s cool and all, but...” said Sunset.
“I’m not done yet!!” said Eris. “If you knew the truth about us, draconequus, about what we really are, about our real nature, you’d get a nuclear meltdown in your head.”
“I want to know!!!” shouted Twilight. “I want to know!!”
“I’ll tell you in words you can comprehend” said Eris. “But you’ll have to help me first. The reason i’m here is simple, i broke up with him recently, and he didn’t took it very well. In fact, he took it so badly he destroyed my Kingdom and stole my business... And subjects too, as revenge for breaking up with him. He told me he would only give it back at the condition i start dating him again. I refused, of course...”
“In this case, who’s better qualified to solve a love problem other than i, Cadence, the Princess of love!” said Cadence.
“But isn’t your specialty getting people together?” said Eris. “This is the opposite of what i need right now, i need him to give my things back, without getting up with him.”
“You dated him” asked Cadence. “You must know what he loves and hate...I know!!! Is there a particuliar hobby your ex-boyfriend is good at?”
“Now that you mention it...He’s a big fan of a card game called Yu-Ki-Oh” answered Eris. “He claim to be the best player, with his unbeatable deck and cunning strategies.”
“Yu-Ki-Oh?” said Sunset. “I’m a fan of this game!! Let me fight him in your name!!”
“I already hit the bottom of the barrel” said Eris. “I suppose i have nothing to lose...”
“What about everyone still asleep?” asked Celestia. “Can you wake them up, now?”
“After you help me” answered Eris. “I promise...”
“Then, i, Sunset Shimmer, challenge Calypso to a game of Yu-Ki-Oh!!” said Sunset. “I will fight on the behalf of Cosmos!!”
A door appeared out of nowhere and sucked Sunset Shimmer and Eris in, then vanished. On the other side was a huge Yu-Ki-Oh battle arena, where a chic-looking draconequus was waiting for them.
“I heard your words, Sunset Shimmer!!” said the creature. “And i, Calypso, accept your challenge!! Now, let’s discuss the conditions! If you lose, which is pretty certain, you will be turned into a card, and placed in my collection of those who defied me and failed. As for Cosmos, she’ll get back with me, forever.”
“However, if i win” said Sunset. “You’ll give back to Eris everything you took from her. You’ll also free all the individuals you turned into cards and finally, you will give me the most valuable cards in your deck.”
“I would reconsider if i were you” said Calypso. “You really want to waste away your life for her? Despite the fact she is a villain?”
“I just can’t ignore someone’s call for help, even if that person is a bad individual” said Sunset. “Because that person can be a potential friend. Twilight helped me see the light when i needed it the most, and i’ve helped other see the same light, the light of Friendship. I used to have a boyfriend too, but this one dumped me because i was such a bad bitch. I took it bad the first times, even more when he started hitting on Twilight Sparkle. I brainwashed him and the whole school, i went full she-devil mode on everyone. But after i changed my ways, became a better person, i realized i never actually liked him. And though he’s still clearly interested in me, i’m not. Flash was just not the guy for me. And i’ll force you to realize your wrongdoings. I’ve seen how badly you’ve mistreated her in her memories!!”
“Obviously, Girls side with girls!” said Calypso. “Very well then, in that case, i’ll choose another person to play on my behalf...He’s the only person to tie with me at Yu-Ki-Oh. If you know this game well, i’m sure you know who i’m refering to. And honestly, this will make this game funnier.”
Calypso summoned Flash Sentry on the battlefield, in his human form. Sunset was also in her human form.
“Where am i?!! Who’s that guy?!! Sunset Shimmer?!” asked Flash.
Calypso sealed Flash’s positive emotions he had for Sunset Shimmer, only keeping the negative ones.
“To make this game as fun as possible, each magic, monster or trap card you’ll put on the field will materialize and take effect.” said Calypso. “As for the rules, you already know them, so we can directly skip to the match.”
A dual Gauntlet appeared on Sunset’s arm, on the screen, her healt score was visible. She had 4000 HP...Flash also got his own Gauntlet.
“I don’t want to fight you, Flash!!” said Sunset. “I refuse to fight a friend!!”
“That’s funny” answered Flash. “Because i want to fight you, Sunset. I will enjoy destroying you!!”
“Do you want me to seal some of your emotions, Sunset?” asked Eris. “I need you to be fully focused on the battle.”
“I’ll be fine” said Sunset. “Beside, he’s the current champion of Yu-Ki-Oh. He might be my friend, but now, he’s my opponent, and i know he wouldn’t want anyone else other than me taking his champion title away.”
Flash smiled.
“You know it, sister” said Flash. “Don’t hold back, because i won’t. Now, Let’s see...”
“...Who’s gonna yield” said Sunset
“And who’s gonna Win!!” said Flash.
“It’s time to duel!!!” said both of them at the same time, shoving their cards inside their dualist gauntlet
Sunset and Flash were gauging each other, trying to predict each other’s first card.
“Wait!!” said Calypso. “Let’s make this more unpredictable!!”
He snapped his finger and the two players’ card deck let place to tons of blank ones.
“Blank cards?” asked Sunset. “I don’t understand”
“This is simple” said Calypso. “Think of a fictional character and it will manifest on the card you hold.”
“While we’re at it” said Eris. “A single match would be boring...”
“I’m fine with it” said Calypso. “Here are the rules of this dual!! You each got 5 cards, one per warrior you summon. The first to take down all his opponent’s fighters win. A fighter fight until he or she’s defeated by the opponent, in a best case scenario, one fighter could take down all 5 of the enemy fighters!!”
“Now, it’s time to duel!!” said Eris. “You got this, Sunset Shimmer!!”
“I’m opening this battle!!” said Sunset. “Alright, i summon on the battlefield Sephora, the all-powerful Valkyrie from the video game Attack on Asgard!!”
A beautiful, intimidating-looking woman, with huge wings on her back and wearing a cool armor. A massive axe was standing next to her. Sunset couldn’t resist and went on the field to touch her wings.
“Awesome...” she said. “They’re so soft...”
“It’s because i only use the best products for them” said Sephora, with a smooth voice. “And i’m not in Asgard anymore...Did you summoned me here?”
“She’s really in character” thought Sunset. “In her head, she think she was summoned from Asgard. Well, technically, she was summoned, but from a video game. She have no idea she is just a series of digital files...”
“Never mind that” said Sephora. “What’s the plan? Who’s the enemy?”
“Him” answered Sunset, pointing Flash. “He’s being controlled by that other guy.”
“Is he your boyfriend?” asked Sephora.
“He was at one point” answered Sunset. “Now, we’re just friends.”
Also, before starting the fight, Sunset and Flash already chose their five fighters. This was Flash Sentry’s turn now and he smiled devilishly.
“I summon Ragnarok, the Death Knight!!!” said Flash. “If you played Ogres and Oubliettes, Sunset, then you know how powerful he is.”
“He’s Overlord Faust’s Supreme General” said Sunset. “He’s an undead, immortal, deadly, ruthless, unstoppable killing machine. He’s indeed powerful”
“I eat undead chumps of his kind for breakfast” said Sephora. “My axe, Sunbringer, is imbued by holy magic, and my armor as well. I’ve slain countless spawns of Hel, goddess of Death. I’m Sephora, Freiya’s second in command and the Supreme commander of the Valkyries”
“Even with holy magic, Ragnarok won’t be easy to beat.” said Sunset. “His armor is boosted with tons of enchantments against holy magic. His sword is boosted with powerful curses, get hit by it and you might die instantly.”
“Then i guess this should be an interesting battle” said Sephora.
Sephora and Ragnarok charged toward each other. Their weapons clashed violently, multiple times.
“You’re pretty good, winged woman” said Ragnarok.
“Oh, he’s talking” said Sephora. “Thank you for the compliment, you’re not bad either.”
The two fighters continued exchanging blows.
“It seem we’re evenly matched in hand to hand combat” said Ragnarok.
“Then, let’s compare our magic!!” said Sephora.
“Valkyries don’t usually use magic” said Ragnarok.
“Same goes for Death Knights” said Sephora. “But i’m different, as i was bestowed by Odin, magic powers coming from Ygddrasil, the World-Tree. I can cast powerful Thunder, Ice, Nature, Earth, Air and Light magic attacks!”
“I was a powerful magic caster when i was alive” said Ragnarok. “I specialized in curses, summons and necromancy. I was killed on the battlefield, slain by a powerful warlock, a Knight who could use magic, only for him to be killed by a lose arrow in the eye almost immediately after. So, before drawing my last breath, i transfered myself into his corpse using a forbidden spell. This is why i can cast magic, as well as fight with weapons. That Knight whose body i’ve taken was a specialist of Holy and protection Magic. Combined with my Curse and Death magic, i became unstoppable.”
“That Faust guy saw your exploit and invited you to join him, right?” asked Sephora.
“I was already serving his highness way before i was killed in a battle” answered Ragnarok. “I was the commander of his dark magician squad. Upon coming back in this body, he made me supreme commander of his army. I honored that title for centuries, never losing a battle. Until...”
“Until?” asked Sephora.
“Until i was defeated by the Chosen One, the Hero of the prophecy, Sir Knightingale” answered Ragnarok. “Beforehand, he and his crew had killed my master, and after defeating me, he proposed me to join his group. I refused, at first, but upon crossing roads many more times, weither it was to defeat a common enemy or fighting each other in a dual, i finally accepted to join his group.”
“Enought talk now” said Flash. “Ragna, slay her!!”
Sephora created multiple spears of water that she threw at her opponent. Ragnarok casted a magic barrier around him and blocked the incoming attack. The water spears exploded around the barrier, then froze solid around the enemy. The Death Knight slashed through the ice with his sword. The Valkyrie summoned huges roots from the ground, with the intent to crush her opponent alive. Ragna added a fire effect to his barrier and the roots started burning.
“See?” said Ragna. “It’s no use. No spells can get pass my barrier!!”
“In this case...” said Sephora. “I’m going to strike you with my most devastating attack”
She started gathering a lot of energy into a massive, gigantic spear. It was infused with the life force of Yggdrasil itself.
“I can’t dodge this” said Ragna. “And i can’t block it totally. If i take this attack directly, even with the most powerful barrier in my arsenal, i would be left vulnerable enought for her to kill me.”
Flash grinded his teeth.
“I know you, Ragna” he said. “And i know when to admit defeat...Forfeit this round”
“That voice” said the Knight. “It remind me of sir Knightingale...Farewell, i forfeit this dual...”
The Death Knight disappeared from the battlefield, leaving Sephora alone. She was pissed by her opponent’s forfeit.
“What a coward” she said. “It was just starting to get interesting...Oh well, i’ll unleash my frustration on my next opponent!”
Flash sighed and looked at his second card.
“You lucked out with your first pick, Shimmy” said Flash. “The advantage of losing the first round is that i can summon the perfect fighter to counter Sephora. I’ve played Assault on Asgard too, and so, i summon on the battlefield the High Father, ruler of asgard, the All-seeing king, Odin!!”
An imposant man, wearing a beautiful battle armor, holding a magic staff, appeared on the battlefield. Odin looked at his opponent and looked surprised.
“So, you are my opponent Sephora.” said Odin. “Unfortunately for you, i’m the one who taught you everything. The power you possess was bestowed by me as well. I would tell you to abandon the fight, but a valkyrie never retreat...”
“I bested your son” said Sephora with a smile. “And i kicked Hel’s ass back to hell. I’m pretty sure i can take you as well, All-seeing King. It wouldn’t be the first time a woman put you to your knees.”
Odin let out a loud laugh, of amusement and joy.
“Freiya told me she wouldn’t tell anyone about this...” he said. “Anyway, i doubt you can best me, Sephora. Unless you can surprise me.”
Sephora flew right toward Odin, her axe ready to slice him in half. The king of Asgard turned his staff into a spear. He parried the blow with grace and pierced Sephora’s body with his spear. The Valkyrie was then thrown back a few meters, near Sunset.
“The next blow will be the last” said Odin.
Sephora looked at Sunset
“He’s too strong for you” said Sunset. “He’s gonna kill you!! Give up!!”
Sephora smiled and got up. She faced Odin with a determined face.
“Look at that!!” said the old man. “You took it like a champ”
Odin charged at Sephora with the intent to finish this. Against all expectation, Sephora exposed her bare breast to him. Odin was so surprised and aroused by this that he fell on the ground and impaled himself with his own weapon. Flash had a nosebleed and Sunset was red like a tomato. Calypso and Eris were laughing their ass off. Odin disappeared from the battlefield, but not before saying one last sentence.
“My wife will kill me, but i regret nothing” were his last words.
Flash got rid of his nosebleed and facepalmed himself. He pulled a third card from his hand.
“Do i summon Freiya?” thought Flash. “The Valkyries’ code of honor will prevent Sephora from fighting the Mother of all Valkyries. But what will Sunset send next?”
Flash let out a sight.
“I summon Freiya, Queen of Asgard, Mother of all Valkyries.” he said.
A tall, beautiful woman appeared on the battlefield. She was riding on a bear’s back and was surrounded by many animals.
“My Queen” said Sephora, kneeling down to her.
“I’ve heard from my husband about how you defeated him” she said. “As your master, i’m proud of you...As his wife, thought, i’m not happy. You know Odin is very susceptible to feminine charms.”
Sephora spitted blood. The injury she took from Gungnir finally got the better of her. Freiya came to her and put Sephora’s head on her chest.
“I’m sorry, Sunset Shimmer” said Sephora. “But it’s the end of the road for me...Anyway, even if i could fight, the code of the Valkyries prevents me to fight our Mother. By the way, i’m sorry, my Queen, i failed you and my master.”
“You did well” said Freiya. “But not a word of this to anyone, got it? If Hel knew she’d just have to show her breast to Odin to defeat him, it would be horrible.”
Sephora laughed and disappeared. Sunset pulled out a second card from her hand.
“Speaking of the devil” she said. “I summon Hel, Godess of Death, on the battlefield!!”
A tall, goth-looking woman appeared in front of Sunset. Her skin was grey, like a corpse. Her hair were black and she was dressed in a black robe. She had curves on her body, good enough to compete with those of Sephora. For this fight, thought, after seeing who her opponent was, she opted for a battle armor, made of black leather.
“You did well to send me, mortal” said Hel. “I’m going to wreck this bitch’s pretty face. Without your dear Sephora to protect you, it’s going to be easy to best you.”
She summoned a dozen of half-skeletic wolves to her sides. Flash grinded his teeth.
“Show her what you’re made of, Freiya!!” he shouted.
“I have no order to receive from a human” she answered. “Even less a male. No men boss me around, not even Odin, my husband. But i’m willing to make an exception if my opponent is that emo bitch...”
Hel sent her wolves attacking Freiya. The goddess summoned an Yggdrasil-juiced grizzly that made quick work of the frail attackers. Far from being discouraged, Hel summoned Fenrir on her sides. The giant wolf had a score to settle with Freiya after this one did something horrible to him.
“Fenrir, you traitor!!” shouted Freiya. “I feed you! Pet you!! Why would you join that bitch?”
“I need blood, death” said the wolf. “I’m bored, being all day leashed to Yggdrasil, doing nothing but wait my next meal. Speaking of meal, this ain’t small portions like you serve me that will satisfy my hunger!”
“I saw that he was neglected” said Hel. “I just offered him what he wanted. Freedom, unlimited preys to hunt, bones to chew on and many toys to play with. He rightfully serve as my guardian, now.”
To even the score, Freiya summoned 2 more grizzly, which merged with the third one to form a big, menacing, super-Grizzly. Feeling that Fenrir might be not strong enough to take that beast on, Hel magically summoned a black armor on his body. Fenrir was protected from head to paws, while still able to move normally. She then got on the wolf’s back. Freiya did the same thing and got on her pet’s back as well. Hel was holding a longsword, made of a black metal, Freiya was holding a wooden spear, carved in the wood of Yggdrasil. The head had been forged in the same metal than Mjollnir, Her son’s hammer. Hel’s sword was made of Necromancium, a metal she created by mixing Dark Matter with Asgardian Metal. Fenrir’s armor was made of the same metal than her sword. A big, epic battle was about to begin...And only one could get on top of it...
Sunset and Flash were fired up. Sunset summoned Hel as her second fighter, while Flash, who already lost twice in a row and was to his third fighter, called Freiya into battle. The fight that was going to happen was going to be intense. The two godesses charged toward each other, riding their pet. The giant wolf and the giant grizzly slammed into each other, biting and clawing their opponent’s armor. Meanwhile, Hel and Freiya were exchanging blows with their weapons. Hel’s sword was tricky and nearly caught Freiya offguard more than once. But she was confident about her winning odds against Hel. Sephora defeated her multiple times, and she was the one who raised and taught her everything she knew. Since she was once a Valkyrie, before being chosen by Odin as his wife, she knew perfectly how to use any kind of weapon.
“Defeating me isn’t as easy as it look, you stupid bitch!” said Hel. “You might have trained Sephora, but she’s league above you. The only reason she can beat me is because she’s wielding both Odin and Yggdrasil’s might. You are good with weapons, probably due to your experience as a Valkyrie. But not as good as me!!!”
Hel knocked Freiya’s spear away with a surprise blow and then impaled her in the chest. At her surprise, she faded into the air.
“An illusion?” said Hel. “Right, I forgot that you are also a witch as well. So, you’re going to fight me with magic? Bring it on!!”
Roots came from the Grizzly’s wooden armor and immobilized both Fenrir and Hel. Freiya showed up behind her, ready to impale her with her spear. But before she could, the roots binding her had rotten and Hel avoided the attack. Freiya noticed that her bear’s armor was rotten at some places.
“Dark Matter” said Freiya. “You infused your weapon and his armor with it. Odin sealed away that damned substance, how did you get your hands on it?”
“Don’t be mistaken” answered Hel. “I never found the damn place where it was sealed, but i found out how to synthesize it. To give it more power, i mixed it with Asgardian Metal, the thoughest and finest there is. I call this alloy Necromancium.”
“Odin is right to fear you” said Freiya. “You are as smart and cunning as your father, Loki”*
“Father thaught me everything i know” said Hel. “Including how to deal with you...You’ve already lost this fight, Freiya.”
The goddess was overwhelmed by nausea, vertigo and pain.
“You were so occupied talking that you didn’t even notice you were stepping on Fenrir’s armor.” said Hel. “I am immune to the Necromancium’s poisonous effects and so is he. While you and that stupid bear are going to get weaker by the second.”
Flash was starting to panic when he saw Freiya about to lose. Hel impaled Freiya in the guts with her sword. The goddess fell on the ground, face first. Hel stepped down from Fenrir’s back and went to achieve Freiya. But as she was about to pierce her heart, Freiya summoned her spear that had been thrown away earlier, the same way Thor called Mjlonir. The weapon impaled Hel in the chest.
“Shit” said Hel. “I forgot about that”
Hel disappeared from the battlefield and Fenrir as well. Freiya smiled and also disappeared with her bear. Sunset was now down to 3 fighters, while Flash only had 2. Eris and Calypso were having a blast watching those two.
“I summon Thor!!” said Sunset.
A tall, muscled, bearded viking, wearing a shining coat of armor, a helmet with wings and holding a hammer in his hand appeared.
“Thou summoned me, Mortal?” asked Thor to Sunset.
“Yes” she answered.
“And who do i have to fight?”
Flash smiled.
“I summon Loki!!” he shouted.
A tall, elegant man with beautiful long black hairs, holding a staff and wearing a helmet with two long horns, appeared.
“You again?” said Loki to Thor. “What business does Odin’s favorite son have with me?”
“My hammer in your face, dork” answered Thor with a grin.
“Repeat that to my face, fatty” said Loki.
“I’m not fat!!” said Thor. “I’m just built different. And it’s better than looking like a girl.”
Loki casted a beam at Thor with his staff. The warrior deflected it easily with a swing of his hammer. Loki continued to fire at him and finally hit Thor in the right arm, the left leg and the chest. Thor fortunately held up to his weapon and unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning on Loki. The god of mischief redirected the attack into the ground with his scepter.
“Do you really think you can brute force your way through every problem?” asked Loki with a mocking tone.
“It worked for me so far” answered Thor. “And you, do you really think you can plot your way out of every problem?”
“Yes” said Loki. “By the way, my magic should take effect right about...Now.”
Thor felt an intense burn in his right arm, left leg and his chest. The pain made him release his weapon on the ground.
“By Odin!” said Thor. “What have you done to me?”
“I poisoned you, dummy” Answered Loki. “It’s a very, very powerful poison spell i intended to use on Odin to murder him. But i needed a subject to test him on first...And you showed up!! Don’t bother fighting it, Thor, if this poison doesn’t kill you, it will paralyze you for certain. Either way. You’re dead!”
Thor fell on his knees. Sunset tried to sheer him up, but Loki’s poison got him at last. Thor felt on the ground violently and dissipated from the battlefield. Flash smiled of satisfaction at Sunset. She grabbed her fourth card and raised it in the air.
“Surtur!!” shouted Sunset. “Bring destruction on this field!! I summon you!!”
A 30 meter tall fire monster, looking like a demon, appeared. Sunset was teleported on his right shoulder, where she looked at Surtur in the eyes. Seeing who is opponent was, he reduced his size, to be approximatively 3 meters tall. Loki and Flash were surprised and a bit scared.
“I give up!!” said Loki. “I’m not fighting him!! I forfeit!!”
Loki disappeared, leaving Flash in the dust. Calypso, feeling he might lose, got nervous.
“Against a titan of fire” thought Flash. “A creature of water or ice would be the way to go. But even if i beat Surtur, i’m at my last card, while she has another one left. Very well, if i’m going to lose, i’m going out in a bang!!”
Flash Sentry smiled at Sunset. She knew he would go all out for the finale.
“Surtur!!” said Sunset. “Can you forfeit?”
“Why not?” answered the god. “I’m not feeling like fighting today. I forfeit!”
Surtur dissipated into thin air. Flash was surprised, but amused.
“I summon Lady Solaris, the Crimson Witch!!” shouted Sunset
“Going with your avatar, uh?!” shouted Flash. “In that case, i summon Sir Knightigale, The Shining Hero!!”
Two characters, one male, one female, appeared on the field. The male avatar was wearing an very shiny armor, gold and blue. He was looking in all points like Flash, but was more buff, handsome and mature. The female character was wearing a witch outfit, all black. She had the hat, boots, gloves, dress and belt typical of a witch outfit. She was looking like Sunset physically, but more developped and elegant. When the two fighters saw who they had to fight, and who was their master, they immediately understood the situation.
“Listen, Solaris!!” said Sunset. “I know Knightingale is your best friend, but you need to fight him!!”
“Don’t worry, weaker me!!” said Solaris. “The desire to punch his donkey-ass face was itching me for a while!!”
“Hey, Sir Knightingale!!” said Flash. “Don’t hold back against Solaris, okay?”
“I never hold back!” said Knightingale. “But she have the class advantage against me...This won’t be an easy fight.”
Solaris threw dozen of magic spears at Knightingale, who tanked it without much problem. The Hero ran toward Solaris, his sword ready to cut her in half. Solaris summoned her wand and used it to parry her opponent’s blow.
“Star Blaster!!” shouted the witch.
The hero took point-blank the explosion spell and was knocked backward. He quickly healed his injuries and started casting buffs on himself.
“I won’t let you!!” said Solaris. “Scarlet Inferno!!”
A pillar of flames appeared right below Flash. The column of flames covered the hero completely and lasted for a couple of seconds. Knightingale, however, was still standing. He finished casting a speed, attack and magic defense buff. Far from being discouraged, Solaris created a magic circle around her that had for effect to boost her magical attack, replenish her mana and double her physical defense.
“Supernova!!” shouted Solaris.
“God Slicer!” shouted Knightingale.
Knightingale sliced Solaris’ spell in half and was continuing his way toward her. Solaris smiled when he walked inside a magic circle she casted before the fight began. The circle immobilized the hero with shadow tentacles and was draining his life force. Solaris charged a powerful magic spell, intending to finish the hero. Knightingale went suddenly god mode.
“Legendary Hero mode!!!” shouted the hero. “This will turn the tide of the battle in my favor!”
Knightingale’s aura spiked drastically and all his stats went through the roof. His armor turned from gold and blue to white and silver. Solaris smiled, looked at the sky and powered up as well.
“Mythical Witch mode!!” she shouted.
Her witch outfit disappeared to make place to a mage one. Her mage dress was red and black and her wand made place to a staff.
“It’s over, Knightingale!!” she said. “Time to finish this...Galaxy Buster, Full Power!!”
“Here we go...” said Knightingale. “God-Splitter, Max power!!”
The powerful blast of magic energy collided with the Magic-imbued sword. If Knightingale was able to cut through Solaris’ spell, victory would be his. If Solaris was able to break Knightingale’s magic sword, victory would be certain for her. In a spectacular fashion, Solaris shattered Knightingale’s sword and disintegrated the hero. There was nothing left of her opponent, and she fell on the ground, exhausted, but happy.
“You jerk” said Solaris. “You held back at the last second, didn’t you?”
She disappeared shortly after.
“And that settle it!!” shouted Eris. “Sunset Shimmer won!! In your face, Calypso!!”
Calypso was clapping his hands, satisfied. He freed Flash from his control and this one fell asleep.
“He won’t remember anything when he’ll wake up” said Calypso. “Fine, as i promised, i’ll give back to Eris everything i took from her and i will let her alone.”
He snapped his fingers.
“It’s done” said Calypso. “When you’ll return to your realm, everything will be back. Now, if you excuse me, i have another dimension that await me.”
Calypso threw her and Eris out of his dimension. They were back to Eris’ one.
“Now, undo the spell you casted on everyone in Equestria” said Sunset.
Eris snapped fingers.
“I owe you, Sunset Shimmer!” she said. “I promise to pay you back for that! I think your friends are impatient to see you again. They’re back to Canterlot and can’t wait to describe what happened during their vacations.”
Sunset was sent back in her room, in the human world. She was surprised to realize she had been away for 2 weeks. When she headed outside, Rainbow Dash was waiting for her.
“Good morning, sleepyhead!!” she said. “Our friends are waiting at Pinkie’s house!! I can’t wait to tell you what happened during my trip!!”
Sunset spent the entire morning listening her friends’ stories of their trip. She then told them what she accomplished in the meantime, such as her preventing a war with catastrophic repercussions and having an epic dual of cards with Calypso, Eris’ ex boyfriend. Then, in the afternoon, she went to see Twilight, which summoned her. The princess awarded her with the greatest honor a pony could receive: The title of Hero of Equestria, along with a shiny medal to show she saved it. She also received from each of the leaders of Equestria a gift. Thorax gave her a huge chunck of anti-magic rock, Ember gave her a big and shiny diamond, Queen Novo gave her a shard of the Seaponies’ sacred pearl, The griffon lord gave her a huge box of their famous scones, Prince Rutherford gave her a bagpipe, the Abyssinian King and Queen gave her a bag of gold, among those. When the ceremony was over, she returned to her world, showing off her gifts. Pinkie Pie made one bite of the scones, while Rarity was fawning over the diamond. Applejack took the gold bag and shared it with Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash got the Bagpipe, which she accepted with a sour attitude. Twilight took the anti-magic rock, intending on deciphering it’s secrets and who know, weaponize it for future battles. The only gift she kept for herself was the pearl shard she got from Novo. The next day, Sunset decided to test the pearl’s magic, by taking a hot, foamy bath. At her surprise, the lower part of her body turned into a mermaid tail. She submerged her head in the water and realized she could breathe underwater. Satisfied of the results she got, she headed outside to meet Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara and Cozy Glow.
“Hey girls!!” said Sunset. “Sorry to be a bit late!!”
“Hi Sunset!” said Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Applebloom at the same time.
“That’s a nice pendant you got there!” said Diamond Tiara. “Where did you got it?”
“It’s a gift i got from a queen” answered Sunset. “She told me it got magic properties and it does!”
“Tell us!!” shouted Applebloom. “What does it do?!”
“I could show you at the end of our monthly group activity!!” said Sunset. “Cozy, you haven’t said anything since i arrived. Even Tiara made an effort, her who’s habitually acting like a spoiled bitch!!”
“Hey!” said Diamond Tiara.
“Brat, i mean brat” said Sunset, amused of her reaction.
“I hate those activities” said Cozy Glow. “They’re boring!! Arts and Craft? Friendship Circle? Freaking Ogre and Oubliettes?! Those are the lamest activities ever!!”
Sunset used her magic discretly to hear Cozy’s thoughts. Obviously, they didn’t match her words. She actually wanted to spend time with her and the other, but was too proud to admit it.
“Oh, it’s too bad, then” said Sunset. “I actually wanted to play some video game with you, go see a movie, do shopping and maybe play tricks to random people today. But i guess it would be too boring for you...”
“Okay, i guess that’s cool” said Cozy. “I’ll come with you, but don’t expect me to open myself to you...”
Sunset smiled for herself. They headed for the Arcade, where she took pleasure beating the girls at games. Even Cozy Glow had fun, that she tried her best not to show to the others. They then headed for the Mall, where she had to fight to get the new video game she wanted. After she got her hands on the game, she bought smoothies for everyones. They headed to the theatre to watch the new Daring-Do movie and had lots of fun. After doing all those activities, it was almost the end of the afternoon. They used the rest of it to play random tricks to people. Cozy took a lot of pleasure into that activity, and she didn’t try to hide it.
“So, how was the day, girls?” asked Sunset.
“Perfect!!” answered the CMC’s
“It’s certainly not my parents who would do those activities with me” answered Diamond Tiara. “They’re so fancy and busy working, i’m sometimes ashamed to be in public with them. But not you, Sunset, you’re actually cool!”
She gave her 1000$ cash. Sunset was surprised.
“It’s a gift” said Tiara. “To thank you for this wonderful day.”
Sunset hugged Tiara. She looked at Cozy Glow.
“Am i still boring?” she asked.
“You’re....Okay, i guess” answered Cozy. “I take back what i said about you this morning.”
Sunset peeked into her mind to learn what she was really thinking. She was satisfied to hear that Cozy found her cool. Tiara’s dad arrived with his luxurious car and took her in. Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo returned to their home, leaving only Sunset and Cozy. This one told Sunset she was heading home as well, waving her hand at her.
“Well, i guess i’ll head back home too” said Sunset. “This game won’t play itself!!”
While her and her friends were doing their regular activities, Sunny and Chrysalis were at the Casino where Discord was supposed to be. Sunny was wearing a thight and risqué red dress and Chrysalis, her, was wearing a thight, revealing black dress. Obviously, Every men present were staring at them, making their wives jealous.
“With an outfit like that, we are sure to get everyone’s attention!” said Sunny. “I can sense the stares full of lust of all the mens on us.”
“Yes, it is appetizing!” said Chrysalis. “They would not hesistate to dump their wives if we told them to come to us...”
“We are not here to snack” said Sunny. “Nor to fuck...We are here to find Discord.”
“Is he even here?” asked Chrysalis.
“Only one way to know...” answered Sunny. “Let’s cause a chaos so intense that it will get Discord’s attention for sure!”
Sunny used her magic to set a woman’s dress on fire. The woman tried to put the fire down by tapping on it. Her husband poured what he thought was water, but revealed in fact to be alcohol, making the fire even stronger. Desperate, the woman Riped her dress off her body and threw it away. The burning dress landed on a poker table nearby, setting it ablaze, causing the players around it to panic and run away. As Sunny expected, a tall man, wearing an extravagant outfit, with a white goatie, showed up. The man extinguished the fire and repaired the poker table by snapping his fingers and reassured everyone. He looked at the woman who was in underwears and with another snap, redressed her.
“It’s okay!! Accidents can happen!!” said the tall man. “And you, lady, you should not mess with fire...”
“Is it him?” asked Chrysalis.
“You saw how he effortlessly repaire the damages she caused?” answered Sunny. “It’s Discord alright...Sombra’s intuition was good.”
Discord appeared behind the girls and took them on the roof.
“You’re pretty good at causing chaos” said Discord. “Setting a woman’s dress on fire and watch things degenerating into mayhem. By the way, i already know the reason of your visit, of course that grumpy old ram would need me for his evil plans.”
Discord got a closer look on Sunny and Chrysalis’ outfits.
“I’m going with you if you wear those on and do the sad cat dance for me” he said.
He showed them a video of random girls doing said dance in a cat outfit.
“I’m the Queen of the Changelings!!” said Chrysalis, offended. “I’m not going to do this humiliating dance, especially for you, Discord.”
“Come on, i would do it naked if he asked me to” said Sunny.
“Don’t, that would ruin the meme...I mean, the meaning of the dance itself.” said Discord.
Sunny and Chrysalis’ dresses were replaced by sexy catgirl outfits. He then begged them until his body was in a vertical position. Sunny did the cat dance with a smiling face while Chrysalis did it with an embarrassed face. After two minutes of this dance, Discord told them to stop and replaced their catgirl outfit with their previous outfit.
“A promise is a promise!” he said. “But i think it’s a bit too soon, you girls wanna have a wild evening?”
“Then count me in” she said. “Drunk men are the easiest to feed on”
“Right...” said Discord. “I forgot that you feed on other people’s love. But why drunk men especially?”
“Because my victims end up really weakened after i’m done sucking the love out of them.”said Chrysalis. “Kind of like what alcohol would do if consumed excessively. When people drink this much, it’s because they’re depressed and want to forget their misery. They’re so desperate to get love that they will lust over any women who talk to them. Those make them easy prey for me, since if they end up dead, nobody will miss them and they’ll blame alcohol instead of me.”
“You’re so devlishly smart” said Discord. “That’s what i like about you...”
Sunny was about to jump off the roof.
“Cut the blabbering!!” she shouted. “Let’s fucking party!!!”
Discord teleported the 3 of them inside the Casino. Chrysalis immediately went to the bar and started looking for wasted men. Sunny pulled out of thin air a massive empty bag and another small one, full of money. She exchanged her cash for casino chips and went to the first game table she saw.
“Did she just pulled that huge bag out of thin air?” thought Discord, surprised. “She did...That mean she must have a bit of toonforce in her. That girl is decidedly more random than i thought...”
Sunny was laughing at her opponents, because she won the jackpot by pulling a royal flush.
“Hey, Discord!!” she shouted. “I just turned Fifthy Thousands dollars into Five millions!!”
“I better keep a close eye on her...” said the Lord of Chaos for himself, while making a thumbs up to Sunny “I feel like she have a big role to play in the future.”
Back to Canterlot, Sunset and her friends were watching a movie at Pinkie’s house. After spending the day with the little girls, she needed a moment with her friends. Then they all went to sleep. Later that night, Sunset had a vision, while she was deeply asleep. In this vision, she saw her friends defeated, devastated and laying down around her in a devastated street while one unknown shadow silhouette with red eyes was fighting another shadow silhouette with a sadistic grin. She woke up in fear and screamed, waking up her friends.
“Are you okay, Sunset?!” asked Twilight.
“I think i just had an horrible dream” she answered. “I saw you all around me, looking devastated, as if i was dying or something. Then, i also saw two shadowy figures fighting each other. One was visibly enraged and the other, amused.”
“Dreams are a manifestation of our desires and memories, lying in our subconscious.” said Twilight. “Nightmares are a manifestation of our fears and insecurities deeply lying in our subconscious. I know you enough to know that your worst fear is to lose us...But we were alive in your dream.”
“Then it might be a vision of the future” said Sunset. “I had lot of those recently...But never when i was dreaming...”
“If i had to guess how you’d get yourself killed” said Pinkie. “It would be probably by sacrificing yourself to protect one of us...”
“I would indeed not hesitate to sacrifice myself to save one of you, my friends” said Sunset, smiling. “You guys are the only family i have...”
Her friends did a group hug to comfort her. Sunset smiled, not worried at all about that vision of her dying. All that mattered was her friends’ safety, and if she had to sacrifice her life to protect them, then so be it.
Sunny, Chrysalis and Discord were back to Grogar’s castle.
“Mission accomplished!!” said Sunny.
“That’s the all powerful spirit of chaos and disharmony?” asked Moonlight, amused by Discord’s fancy outfit. “Right...i would expect the Lord of Chaos to wear more mismatched pieces of clothes!”
Discord snapped his finger and turned the whole castle and everything inside into cheese, made chocolate milk rain down on Moonlight and summoning flying crocs.
“It’s my Sunday’s best!” said Discord. “Here’s my casual outfit!!”
His tuxedo made place to a patchwork of pieces of clothing. Nothing was symmetrical in his outfit and the colors were not matching at all.
“Are you convinced now?” asked Discord.
“Yes” answered Moonlight. “Now, please turn everything back to normal before he comes back.”
Discord executed the request and the castle was back to it’s original state. Shortly after, a portal opened from which Grogar came through.
“Ha, i see you did an excellent job, Sunny and Chrysalis.” said Grogar. “Glad to see you, Discord.”
“Same” answered the Lord of Chaos.
“What about your mission?” asked Moonlight to Grogar. “Did you recruited her?”
“She should be here soon” answered Grogar.
“You don’t mean HER” said Discord, terrified.
Cosmos showed up behind Discord and kissed him on the cheek.
“Discord!! My sweet, sweet Discord!!” she said, happy. “When Grogar told me you would be here too, i didn’t believe him!! That’s the only reason i accepted to follow him!! How happy i am that he was telling me the truth!!”
“If i had known she would show her sadistic face to me again” said Discord. “I would have remained hidden in my Casino.”
“Are you not happy to see me, sweetheart?” asked Cosmos.
“Why would i be?” answered Discord. “You’re destruction and sadism incarned!! I ran away from you because you were scaring the shit out of me, lady.”
“I know” said Cosmos. “And i worked hard to change this part of my personality, or at least, tone it down. I’m still sadistic, but i stopped my destructive ways. I now use my magic to make people fall in love with each other, only to destroy their relationship. It’s very entertaining, you know...”
Cosmos was similar to Discord in terms of appearance. She had the look of a women in her fourties and copied Discord’s chaotic fashion. She was wearing the skin, fur and feathers of different animals, extinct today in a mismatched, disorderly manner. Her face was beautiful to look at and her eyes were hypnotizing. Discord escaped from her grasp and reappeared, on the size of a bug, between Sunny’s boobs. Cosmos appeared in front of Sunny and lifted her in the air, looking pissed. Discord freed Sunny from her grasp.
“She’s my new girlfriend!!” said Discord, with a smug smile. “Is this a problem, Cosmos?”
Sunny looked at him with an interrogative stare. She sighed and decided to play the game, not loving Cosmos either.
“He’s my sugar daddy, if you know what i mean” she said with a smug grin.
Cosmos was red of rage and jealousy. Her stare went in Moonlight’s direction and she smiled. She shrunk him down and teleported him in the same place Sunny put Discord.
“Hey, it’s pretty cozy, in here” said Moonlight.
“I know, right?” said Discord.
“Since you made that bitch your girlfriend” said Cosmos. “I’m making that handsome piece of man my boyfriend!”
Moonlight looked at Sunny with a meh expression, then sank deeper between Cosmos’ pair.
“If you’re done with those childish demeanor” said Grogar. “I’d like you to listen to what i will say. Discord...can you change Sunny and Chrysalis’ outfits? They’re distracting the others.”
Sunny and Chrysalis’ sexy dresses were replaced by their casual outfit.
“Good, i summoned all of you here because we have one thing in common” said Grogar. “Me and you are all villains from Equestria, that were banished in this world by Alicorn princesses. We tried to take over their kingdom, and were defeated ultimately by goodie-two-shoes. I was defeated by Gusty the Great, Adagio, Aria and Sonata, aka the Sirens, were defeated twice, first time by the Pillars of Harmony and the second time, the Mane 6, with the help of Sunset Shimmer, an ex-villain. Stygian was also defeated by the Pillars, who sent him to the void. Sombra, Tirek and Discord were defeated by Celestia and Luna. Tirek was locked in Tartarus, Sombra, sent in the limbos and Discord, in this world. Chrysalis, you were defeated by Princess Cadance, then by your own subjects. Cosmos, you got sent into this world by powerful leaders, incuding Luna and Celestia. All of you, no exception...were...”
“Sorry” said a mysterious mare, interrupting Grogar. “I’ve heard you were gathering villains and i thought you could use my help”
“Starlight Glimmer” said Grogar. “You’re back, and with a lot of artifacts, i see”
“They weren’t easy to find” said Starlight. “Even with Starswirl notes. But i got them all”
She emptied the big bag she was carrying in front of Grogar. The villainous man smiled with satisfaction.
“Excellent work, Starlight” said Grogar. “You can take a seat with the rest of the gang.”
Starlight saw an empty seat between Sombra and Tirek and sat on it.
“What’s your story, cutie?” asked Sunny to her.
“I brainwashed an entire village, then stole their cutie marks and made them all equal.” she answered. “Then 6 annoying mares and their little dragon had to ruin the order and harmony i’ve created.”
“I notice there is one empty seat left” said Adagio. “Is there another villain going to join us?”
“Nightmare” shouted Grogar. “Get your ass down here!!”
A cloud of dark grey mist entered in the room and took the form of a ghost. It had glowy, yellow eyes.
“Alright, dad” said Nightmare. “No need to yell at me...Jeez...”
The creature sat in it’s seat, looking pissed. He looked around him and saw Sunny about to ask a question.
“You have in front of you the very entity who created Nightmare Moon” said Nightmare before Sunny opened her mouth. “I’m the only survivor of my species, all the other have been corrupted by friendship. I looked for a place to hide and it led me to this world. I was thrilled to see how weak and easy their inhabitants were to manipulate. Since they had no magic, taking over their bodies was useless. So instead, i just started exploiting their fears and insecurities, which i fed off for years. I gained quite a lot of power over time, enough to take over the body of a magical being on my own.”
“Like the body of a magical girl?” asked Moonlight.
“Silence!!” said Grogar. “You’ll have all the time to discuss of your backstories later!”
Everyone looked at Grogar, silent. This one shown, using a magic screen, Sunset and her friends fighting the monsters Grogar sent after them.
“Do you notice something?” he asked.
“Except for the last one, all of those monsters were defeated with the same final attack” answered Discord. “The infamous Rainbow Laser, which can only be used if all 6 Element of Harmony are perfectly synchronized. It’s pretty much an insta-win attack if it connects, as it nullify all the magic from the target, rendering it powerless.”
“They can also be used to banish someone into another dimension” added Cosmos. “Which, wierdly, was how the Elements were used against each of us, no exception.”
“It’s because i trafficated the Tree of Harmony while it was still growing” said Grogar “After Starswirl and the Pillars disappeared with you, Stygian, in the void, i sent Moonlight to Equestria with the goal of finding his notes.”
“It took a lot of time” said Moonlight “The old wizard hid his notes very well . When i finally got my hands on his diary, i tried to open it, and saw that the book was locked by a powerful spell, so i brought it to Grogar.”
“The spell he casted on his diary was very powerful” said Grogar. “Aside from the caster, the only one able to undo was the spell’s creator, which, unfortunately for him, happened to be yours truly. Yes, i’m basically the one who invented spells and i’m the Father of all magic in that logic. By reading his notes, i found out about the Tree of Harmony and the Elements.”
“Only problem” said Moonlight. “Starswirl only mentioned them being hidden in the Everfree Forest and nor me or him were able to locate it.”
“By chance” said Grogar “The Elements of Harmony’s magic could only be unleashed under the form of a spell. At default to destroy the Elements themselves, i altered Starswirl’s spell, which altered how the Elements worked. Instead of depowering a target, they would banish it in another world, more precisely in this one.”
“If it’s the case” said Starlight. “Shouldn’t have Nightmare Moon been sent here?”
“By default only” said Grogar. “The spell can banish a target anywhere outside Equestria. If the user have a clear idea of the destination, and want it from the bottom of it’s heart, the spell will send the target at this specific destination. When Celestia used the Elements against Luna when she went mad, she had the Moon in mind and heart. As a result of Celestia’s will, the Elements sent Luna on the Moon. Fortunately for you, Discord...and Cosmos, when the Elements were used against you, the casters just wanted you gone, with no clear destination in mind.”
“So the spell sent me and her in this world by default” said Discord.
“However, after banishing her sister” said Grogar. “Celestia broke her connection with the Elements, which unfortunately have for effect to reset them the way they originally were designed to be used once Twilight and her 5 friends reconnected with the Elements. Fortunately, i predicted them being activated again and watched Nightmare Moon being vanquished from Luna’s body when they used the Rainbow Laser on her.”
“Grogar personally sent me keep an eye on them” said Moonlight. “I was there when you attacked Canterlot, Chrysalis. I was hidden among the crowd when you killed Cadence’s fiancée and got your ass handled by her and Twilight. I was in the Crystal Empire when you attacked it, Sombra. I’m the one who allowed you to break out of Tartarus, Tirek as well as making a magic double of you so no one would notice that you escaped. I’m the one who allowed you to escape the Mane 6, Starlight. That plan your subjects came up to fake your own death, so you could escape, was mine, Chrysalis. As for you, Nightmare, i’m the one who saved your ass from the Mane 6 before they get to you. I’m the one who freed the two of you from your shadow prison and directly sent you into this world before you do anything stupid. I was also Cozy Glow’s pen pal and taught her how to rid Equestria of all it’s magic. I didn’t bother saving her when she was defeated, since she was of no use to Grogar.”
“I let all of you enjoy your newfound freedom” said Grogar. “Until i was ready to execute my plan.”
“What is that plan anyway?” asked Chrysalis.
“Take back what is mine!” shouted Grogar. “Equestria belonged to me long before those ponies took it for themselves!! But to conquer Equestria, we have to get rid of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, as well as the source of their magic: Friendship!! However, this won’t be an easy task, far from it. As of right now, none of you have a chance at defeating the Princess of Friendship and her friends. Not only because they have the Elements of Harmony and all Equestria behind them, but also because not a single one of you fought against them before.”
Grogar showed a picture of Sunset and her friends.
“I mentionned those girls earlier” he said. “They’re this world counterpart of the Mane 6, have their own Elements of Harmony and are as powerful than the Mane 6.”
“They’re in all points similar to their pony counterparts” added Moonlight. “They share the same abilities, personality and magic as them. Fighting those girls will give you an idea of what to expect from the Mane 6 when we’ll end up facing them.”
“To start, each of you are going to fight them on your own” said Grogar. “See how good each one of you can fair against them using your usual methods...”
“So, we’re basically their punching bags” said Chrysalis. “We get our asses kicked while you’re watching us and take notes”
“You’re not wrong” said Grogar. “But to get stronger, you have to experience defeat. Each battle against those girls will advantage both me and you. I need more information on those girls and you need a good reality check.”
“Also, he kind off ran out of monsters” said Sunny with a mocking smile on her face.
“Our magic is not as powerful in this world” said Sombra. “How do you expect us to put up a fight?”
“You’re going to train hard” said Grogar. “The reason you can even use magic in this world is that magic mark on your back. That mark keep you linked to Equestria, and as such, it’s magic. The more you’ll use your magic, the stronger it will get over time”
“That mark can only be removed by me, the caster” said Moonlight. “Or Grogar, since he’s the creator of the spell”
“You can all leave this room” said Grogar, exasperated. “Training start tommorow and will last until the end of the month. Also, before you leave, i had Discord and Cosmos customize your rooms to suit your needs. Internet, cable, books, movies, video games, computers and other consoles, you got all. I also had them add a pool, a gym, a VR room, a garden and a big kitchen with all the food you like. So i don’t want any of you to whine about being bored, get it?”
He then disappeared in an instant. Everyone went to their room, except Sunny, who headed for the pool and Moonlight, who wanted to try the VR room for himself.
While Grogar and his allies were preparing to set their plan on, Sunset Shimmer headed for the beach, alone. After watching a documentary about sealife with Fluttershy, she felt the need to explore them. With the shard of pearl she received, she could turn into a mermaid as well as breathing underwater. She let out a sigh and entered in the water, immediately, she activated her pearl and the magic turned her into a mermaid. She swam in direction of the deep sea, where she interacted with a school of fish on the way.
”I wonder if i could...” thought Sunset. “It’s worth a try...”
She tried to command to a fish passing nearby to swim in her direction. The fish ignored her and continued to swin forward.
”Well, either i’m doing it wrong, or that pearl can’t command to sealife.” thought Sunset. ”I guess i’m not Aqua-Girl, to be able to command sea creatures. Let’s see if i can communicate with them...”
She swam in direction of the fish of earlier and caught up to it with ease. Before she tried to talk to the fish, a crazy idea came to her mind.
”My Element of Harmony gave me telepathic powers” she thought. ”But i can’t speak fish...Maybe if i try using the pearl and the Element at the same time...”
She called upon the power of her Element and of her magic pearl at the same time, and something incredible happened. The two pendants, as if they read her mind, merged together and created a new one. The medallion had the same size and design than before, but it’s shape changed to look like a seashell.
“Can you understand me?” asked Sunset to the fish.
”I can” answered the fish, who had a masculine voice “Now, if you excuse me, i’m in a hurry”
The fish swam away and quickly disappeared. Happy that it worked, she got excited and went deeper into the sea. After a couple minutes of swimming, she arrived in more populated waters. All around her, fishes were talking to each other like humans would do.
“So, that’s how it feel to be in Fluttershy’s skin” she said to herself, confused by all the blabbering.
Due to her odd look, she eventually drew the sea creatures’ attention. Many male fishes looked at her with lust provoking the jealousy of their wife.
”You’re quite an odd creature” said to her a brightly colored fish. “What are you exactly?”
”I’m a mermaid” answered Sunset ”I’m from Equestria, a world filled with magic. I ended up in this world by accident, after being sucked inside a magic vortex.”
“And now, you’re trying to find your way home” said the female fish. “I wish i could help you, sweetheart, but i can’t. However, i did heard of rumors about strange phenomenoms affecting this region of the sea and others as well”
“I can only think of one thing causing those: Magic.” said Sunset. “Magic energy emanating from a portal.”
“It might be you’re only chance to return home, then” said the fish. “I wish you good luck, darling”
Sunset smiled and elegantly swam deeper into the sea. Luckily for her, the pearl was protecting her body from the increasing pressure, as she went deeper and deeper. Then, a blue whale who was passing by, noticed her.
“Greetings, ma’am!” said the whale, with a rough australian accent. “My name’s Chuck”
“And my name’s Sunset” she answered.
“Were you going deeper?” asked Chuck.
“Yes” answered Sunset Shimmer. “Why asking?”
“Don’t go in the abyss” said the whale. “It’s cold, dangerous, dark, and the pressure is very high. Nobody is crazy enough to explore them.”
“You only make me want to explore them even more” said Sunset.
“I know way better places to explore than the abyss” proposed Chuck. “You’re from the surface, right?”
“How can you know?” asked Sunset.
“I see humans all the time, luv” answered the whale. “I know your kind love to explore sunken ships and bring back their treasures to the surface. I know one that have not been explored yet, maybe i can bring you to it?”
“Do Atlantis really exist?” asked Sunset. “Or is it just a myth?”
“I can’t tell you for sure” answered Chuck. “The city in itself might have existed, but i doubt anyone lives in it...Except fishes”
“What about the Bermuda Triangle?” asked Sunset, again. “Is there really a curse sinking down ships? Does the mythological Cthullu lives in it?”
“Why don’t you see for yourself?” answere the whale. “I can get you there in less than a week!”
“My friends will probably not question my absence” thought Sunset. “But i wish they could be with me for this adventure!”
Time suddenly froze around her and the spirit of an well-dressed man appeared next to her. She looked around and saw they were in another plane of existance, familiar but unknown at the same time.
“Who are you?” asked Sunset. “Where am i?”
“Someone very powerful” answered the ghost. “And we are in your own spiritual world, the only place i can communicate with you safely.”
Sunset thought about the horrible vision she had not that long ago.
“I can confirm what you saw is going to happen in the future” said the mysterious man. “But most importantly, i’m here to warn you that a powerful foe and his evil allies, all villains from Equestria, are planning to take over it once and for all. He’ll come for you and your human friends first and that, very soon, at the end of the month.”
Sunset looked at her pendant.
“He’s after our Elements of Harmony” she said.
“That’s exact” said the spirit. “He plans on corrupting those Elements to create negative versions of them, that he will call Elements of Darkness. But having the Elements won’t be enough, he also need you and your friends as well to use their power.”
“So, He’ll need to corrupt us as well...” said Sunset. “ If he succeed, with me and my friends at his disposal, plus the other villains he recruited, Twilight won’t stand a chance and Equestria will fall.”
“They won’t be of any use to him after he achieve his goal.” said the man. “He’s gonna dispose of them once he’ll have you under his control. I know his plan won’t succeed because the bad guys never win, but it won’t be an easy victory for you, as you saw in your vision.”
“True” said Sunset.
“Well, i gotta go!” said the spirit. “Oh...One last thing. They’re coming for you in 3 weeks exactly, give or take, so be prepared.”
Sunset opened her eyes, realizing she hadn’t moved one bit.
“So, do you want me to bring you to the Bermuda Triangle?” asked Chuck.
“No thanks” said Sunset, troubled by the revelation. “But next time we see each other, it’ll be a pleasure to travel there with you.”
“Alrighty, then!!” said Chuck the whale. “Take care of yourself!”
The whale swam away and disappeared at large quickly. Sunset decided to return on land, but as she was doing so, she drew attention from a group of sharks.
“Fluttershy told me that sharks have very sensible noses” thought Sunset, ready to fight them off.
The sharks, 6 in total, surrounded her quickly. She noticed that they were looking at her with interest.
“I know i must look appetizing!” said Sunset. “But i won’t let you eat me...”
“Why do humans always think we’re going to eat them?” said one of them with a smooth voice.
“Because i’m also half-fish” answered Sunset, showing off her mermaid tail.
“Wait, you understand what we’re saying?” asked another shark, with his manly voice.
“She’s a mermaid, you guys!!” said a third shark, who sounded quite young.
“You’re talking about those half-fish, half-women creatures?” asked the biggest one of the gang. “I heard of them, but i never thought they actually existed!!”
“She’s so pretty!” said the smallest one. ”She’s definitively waifu material!”
“What do you want from me, then?” asked Sunset Shimmer, on a rude tone. “I’m in a hurry, so state your business with me!”
“Alright, guys” said the first shark. “Let’s leave...She’s getting impatient and irritated.”
All the sharks grunted, but obeyed and swam away. Sunset continued her way to the shore. She felt sorry for rejecting the group of sharks, but she had more important business to take care off than chatting. She finally reached the beach and turned back into a human before emerging. She quickly returned home, sent a message to her friends saying to meet to her room immediately. Fifteen minutes later, all the girls were in Sunset’s room, curious about the reason of this emergency meeting.
“Vacation is over, girls!” said Sunset. “Evil forces are going to knock at our doors soon.”
“Calm down and explain yourself” said Applejack.
Sunset explained to them what the mysterious man told her earlier that day, in details.
“Relax, girl!” said Rainbow Dash. “We’re ready to take on those villains!! They come, we take them down!!”
“What happened to your geode?” asked Rarity. “It’s so pretty, so shiny!”
Sunset also told them about her short marine expedition and that she could talk to fishes.
“I wish i got a pearl too...” said Fluttershy, a bit jealous.
Sunset received a message from Twilight and opened her book. From it appeared 6 other magic pearls...It was Twilight who came up with that magic trick last month.
“Are those...What i think they are?” asked Fluttershy.
“Yes, and there is also a message from Queen Novo” said Sunset. “Twilight told me you had 6 friends back in your world. I don’t want to make jealous, so here are 6 more magic pearls for them. Signed, Queen Novo.”
Sunset handed the necklaces to each of her friends, briefly explaining their magic powers. Rarity and Fluttershy were at the peak of happiness, while Pinkie and Twilight were excited to test it. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were arguing about who of the two would win a swimming competition. Seeing them so excited and happy, she remembered wanting them to be with her for this adventure and decided to continue it.
“Do you think we could merge our geodes with our pearl too?” asked Rarity.
“You remember that aura emanating from your bodies during the Friendship Games?” answered Sunset. “When you did actions that reflected your own Element of Harmony and when we fought Midnight Sparkle?”
“Yes” answered Twilight.
“Try doing it, while using the magic of your pearl.” said Sunset. “You also probably need to be in a source of water...Let’s go to the beach, girls! And bring only a swimsuit top”
The girls left the building and walked to the beach. When they arrived, Sunset told them to remove all their clothes and only keep their bikini top. When they were all done, they jumped in the water and activated the pearl’s magic, swapping their legs for a mermaid tail.
“Oh my!!” said Rarity, in love with her look. “I’m so beautiful!!”
Fluttershy was excitedly swimming around her friends, with a big smile on her face. Pinkie was laughing of joy looking at her tail. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were already competing against each other and Twilight was excited by the perspective of learning more about sealife. Sunset smiled at the view of her friends enjoying the moment. Fluttershy activated her Element to bring a fish to her sides and like for Sunset, her two magic pendants merged into one. Rainbow Dash was next, followed by Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and finally, Applejack.
“Only me and Fluttershy can communicate with the fishes and understand what they say” said Sunset. “I’m doing it by telepathy, as where Fluttershy can speak to them directly and command to them. Rainbow Dash and Applejack’s magic affect them physically, making one able to swim extremely fast and the other, extremely strong. Twilight and Rarity’s magic work pretty the same way they do on land. As for Pinkie’s magic, i have no idea how it works underwater...”
A loud popping sound interrupted her sentence.
“Sorry!” said Pinkie. “I made a bubble, that exploded shortly after i touched it.”
“Of course!!” said Sunset. “Your magic is explosion-based!! You turned balloons into explosive mines in our fight against that flying giant monster. Balloons are filled with air, and so are bubbles!! They’re the aquatic counterparts of balloons!!”
“I see now” said Twilight. “Bubbles and Balloons are both thing you need at a kid party to make it fun. Pinkie can also make sugar explode by touching it. Sugar is sweet and the opposite of sweet is salty. Salt is salty, and there is plenty of it in the sea. Salt is also used, like sugar, to make desserts, especially dough-based ones, like cake and pies. But it goes further!!! Sweet and salty desserts are a thing, take salty caramel, for example!!”
“But the salt in the water is dissolved, silly!!” said Pinkie. “How do you want me to use it as a weapon?”
“Sodium is the base element to make salt and is also a mineral in it’s purest form.” Said Twilight. “If i could just...”
Twilight used her magic to compress the salt present in the water into a ball. It was surprisingly easy and not too long to do. She gave to Pinkie the compacted salt crystals, which she shoved in her hairs. She kept one in her hand and used her magic on it. The ball of salt exploded shortly after, covering the group in a cloud of white dust, like a smokescreen.
“Well, that will be handy!” said Pinkie. “I could use it to hide my bubble bombs in case were chased by some hungry sharks!!”
“Are you ready to get this adventure started, girls?” asked Sunset.
They all answered yes together and followed her further into the sea, ready for an epic adventure they would never forget.
Bonus Chapter (1): Sunset of the Seven Seas, part 2
The group had been swimming for a while, following Sunset. This one was trying to contact Chuck, her whale friend, with her telepathic powers.
“He can’t be too far away” said Sunset. “It has been barely 3 hours since i left him...”
Her efforts finally paid off, but not in the way she expected. Instead of Chuck, it was the group of sharks she met not long ago, that came to her.
“She’s back!!” said one of them. “And with friends!!”
Applejack and Rainbow Dash took a fighting stance. Rarity immediately casted a barrier to protect herself and her friends from the predators.
“Stay away, you man-eating monsters!!” said Rarity.
“Us, monsters? That’s mean...” said another shark. “We don’t even like human flesh...It’s too fat and hard to digest.”
“Let me and Fluttershy handle this” said Sunset. “I know them”
Rarity let Sunset and Fluttershy get out of the barrier. Sunset and Fluttershy merged their magic together to allow everyone to understand each other.
”I’m back” said Sunset to the group of shark. ”Sorry for being rude with you last time...”
”It’s okay...” said the smallest shark of the gang. ”We’re used to it”
“So, you’re not gonna eat us?” asked Rarity.
”As long as you don’t bleed...” answered the biggest shark of the gang.
Applejack stared at him.
”Nah, i’m just kidding!!” he said, laughing. ”Calm down, blondie!”
”I like this one!!!” said Pinkie Pie, hugging the big shark. ”What’s your name!! Mine’s Pinkie Pie!! Cause i’m pink and love pies!!”
”I’m Brutus” answered the big shark. “Because i’m big and intimidating”
Rarity noticed one of the shark’s impeccable look and got interested.
”You look so good!!” said Rarity to the shark. ”That skin is so smooth, so clean! What’s your secret!?”
”Lots and lots of sand baths” answered the shark, with a gay-sounding voice.
”I knew it!!” said Rarity. “I’m bathing in mud at least once a week to keep my skin smooth!! I never thought a shark would understand the importance of looking good!! What’s your name, Dear? Mine is Rarity!!”
”My name’s Eduardo!” said the shark, with a smile.
When the introductions were done, the leader of the gang briefly discussed with his buddies.
”So, what can we do for you?” asked Fluttershy.
“We’ve heard rumors about a big, terrifying monster living in the abyssal depths of the seas.” answered Freddy, the leader of the gang. ”That monster apparently eat anything he want, from the smallest fish to the biggest whale...Our group had a seventh member...We believe he was killed by that creature.”
”You think it might be a creature from Equestria?” asked Sunset to her friends.
”Likely” answered Twilight. ”But it could also be a sea creature from this world that have been exposed to Equestrian magic. You certainly remember those carnivorous plant on that small island where we found a magic portal leading to Equestria, right?”
”I do” said Sunset. “It’s also a possibility. Anyway, do you know where that monster was last seen, Freddy?”
”30 miles South-East from our location” said the shark. ”In the deepest point of the abysses.”
”That’s why Chuck told me not to go in the abysses” said Sunset. ”Alright, girls, we’re going in the abysses...and don’t worry about the intense pressure, our pearls will shield us from it.”
”Let’s go!!” said Rainbow Dash. “Let’s kick that monster’s ass!!”
”Or reason with it” said Fluttershy.
Sunset and her friends followed the group of shark to the location the sea monster was last seen. Half an hour later, they were arrived at destination, all that was left was to go in the deep abyss.
”We wish you best of luck” said Fred to the girls. “Avenge my brother, please”
Sunset and the rest of her friends smiled to them and started diving in the abyssal depths of the sea. It only took a couple of minutes for the girls to get there. At the exact moment they were exposed to the darkness, their geodes started shining brightly, lighting the area around them.
“That should draw that monster straight to us!” said Twilight. “Let’s get deeper, girls...”
They continued diving deeper, until they touched the floor. They explored the surrounding for a couple minutes.
“I found something, everyone!!” said Twilight. “It look like the entrance to a submarine cave”
“That’s probably our monster’s lair” said Rainbow Dash. “We should explore it...”
“Agree” said Applejack. “Maybe there is a magic artifact inside, or a portal...”
The girls entered the huge cave and explored it for over an hour, before arriving to the end of it. They emerged their heads from the water.
“Amazing!” said Twilight. “An air chamber!!”
They got out of the water and turned back to normal. They quickly realized that they were wearing nothing down there. Pinkie searched in her hairs and took out of them the girls’ bikini bottoms.
“Don’t ask” said Sunset to Twilight.
Once the girls put their bottoms on, they walked until they discovered the cave was a dead-end. There was nothing around, just a wall. Pinkie inspected it for a moment, doing different tests.
“Applejack, punch this wall, right now” said Pinkie. “Don’t ask”
Applejack executed Pinkie’s request and punched through the wall. She removed her hand and Pinkie looked in the hole.
“I knew it!!” she said. “There is a path behind this wall!! Get back, girls, i’m gonna blow it up!!”
“I got a better idea” said Applejack.
She punched the wall Jojo style, with such speed and precision that in less than a minute, the wall was completely destroyed.
“Beat that, Rainbow Dash” said Applejack with a smug smile.
“I will, trust me” she answered.
The girls continued further down the path. They arrived to a room with a colossal treasure at his center. Tons and tons of gold and precious gemstones were composing it. Applejack and Rarity immediately started shoving gold coins and gemstones in an empty chest.
“Applejack! Rarity!” said Sunset. “That treasure belong to someone!!”
“So what?” Said Rarity. “That treasure is so big!! It’s owner won’t even notice that a small part of it disappeared! Beside, i need those gems for my new line of Celebrity dresses!!”
“And i need those gold coins to repair and modernize my family’s farm!” said Applejack.
The treasure started moving and shaking and from it emerged the body of a massive dragon. The creature looked at them with surprised eyes. It’s back and sides were red and it’s underbelly, red-orange. The wing and tips of the tail were covered of red, orange and yellow feathers. It’s legs were those of a dragon, but it’s feet, those of a bird of prey, with huge claws. The neck of the dragon was also covered of feathers and of it’s head, only the eyes had bird-like features.
“I won’t bother asking how you got to my lair” said the red dragon, with a female voice.
“Are you the monster terrorizing the sea?” asked Sunset.
“No” answered the female dragon. “And are those your two friends stealing my treasure?”
Twilight pulled Applejack and Rarity back with her magic.
“Yes” answered Sunset, ashamed of their behavior. “And i’m sorry, they just lack judgement when it comes to gemstones and gold. Anyway, do you know anything about that monster?”
The dragon was in reality Sunny Flame transformed. She immediately recognized Sunset and her friends and was tempted to attack them, then bring them to Grogar. But she didn’t want risking destroying the place or her treasure. Not even Moonlight or Grogar knew about this lair of hers, nor that she had 4 secret lairs in total. Her first one was located inside a volcano and was the only hideout Moonlight and Grogar knew the existence of. Her second hideout was located at the top of Mount Everhoof, inside the moutain. Her third hideout, the one Sunset and her friends were in, was located at the bottom of the seas, inside a cave. The last one was located at the bottom of a very deep and very long underground tunnel somewhere in the Middle East. The second reason she didn’t attack was due to Sunset’s presence. She couldn’t tell why, but something in Sunset was feeling familiar. That was the same thing for Sunset Shimmer.
“I do” answered Sunny. “The monster you’re looking for is a Megalodon, it’s all i know”
“Are you from Equestria?” asked Sunset.
“Yes” answered Sunny.
“Shouldn’t you be a dog, then?” asked Sunset. “Ponies become human in this world, and dragons become dogs”
“Large, adult dragons aren’t affected by this phenomenom” answered Sunny. “Plus, i’m not a dragon properly speaking and...fuck it...”
Under their surprised looks, the dragon shrank and turned into a woman approximatively their age. The girl was standing naked on top of the treasure pile. She didn’t seem to bother her nudity, but the girls did.
“You’re...a...Human” said Sunset, staring at Sunny’s body.
“First, she need to put something on, Darling” said Rarity. “Twilight, can you put that bikini on her?”
Twilight executed her request and put the red bikini on Sunny.
“I’m the result of a failed experiment, the product of a demented mind” said Sunny. “That crazy individual’s obsession was to turns ponies into a Chimera, a three-way hybrid creature. I was one of it’s victim, the product of the crossing between a dragon and a phoenix, with my pony body as the base...I was deemed a failure and abandonned. I found a portal to this world and stayed in it since. From Ancient Egypt all the way to modern times, i’ve witnessed everything and maybe played the divinities. I also had lots of fun as a dragon, especially in the Middle-Age...”
Twilight was in awe.
“Anyway, can you leave my hideout, now?” said Sunny, who was getting undressed. “I’ve told you what i knew about the creature and i would like to continue my nap. Oh, after you exit that cave, head North to find him”
She turned back into a dragon and dug a hole in the gold and gemstone mountain. Sunset and her friends left the room and headed for the water tunnel. Arrived there, they removed their bottoms and turned into mermaids, before jumping in the water. They swam all the way back to the entrance and headed North. Sunny transformed back into a human, only keeping her wings, then put the red bikini on. She flew to the ceiling of the cave and pushed a hidden button. A long tunnel, going all the way to the surface, appeared. It was large enough to let her fly freely and she flew all the way to the surface. Once she arrived at the surface, she used her portal key to return to Grogar’s castle.
“I know we have a pool” said Sunny to Grogar. “But i prefer the sea to it”
“I don’t care where you’re passing your free time” said Grogar. “I’m just asking you not to cause trouble”
At the bottom of the sea, Sunset and her friends arrived to the Megalodon’s territory. Twilight didn’t notice a source of magic in the area and came to the conclusion that he must have swallowed a magic artifact.
“Here he comes!!” shouted Rainbow Dash, pointing at the Megalodon.
Rarity casted around her and her friends a spherical barrier. The giant shark swallowed it, with the girls inside.
“Bingo!” said Twilight. “He swallowed us!! Like i was hoping he would!”
The ball arrived in the stomach of the shark. Rarity turned the ball into a platform where her and the other could stand on. They looked around, searching for a magical artifact. It was Pinkie Pie who found the artifact first. It was radiating an intense magic aura. Once it was done, Rarity covered the platform with a dome.
“Now, let’s get out of here!!” shouted Sunset. “Fluttershy!! Use your magic and command him to swim close to the surface!!I tried to communicate with him, but he’s completely mad!”
She concentrated and was able to take control of the Megalodon’s brain. She told him to head to the surface and maintained her influence on him all the way up. She then ordered him to open his mouth and leave it that way. Twilight then moved the dome all the way through his throat and finally got out of the beast. Immediately, the Megalodon started shrinking and shrinking until he became a regular-sized Great White shark.
“Aw man...” said the shark, confused. “What happened to me? The last thing i remember is eating a glowy thing...”
Sunset did a brief summary of the situation to the Great White. Not far away, the gang of Great White sharks arrived to welcome the girls. Freddy had a shock when he saw his brother alive and well.
“Dave!!” shouted Freddy
“Fred!!” shouted Dave
After the touching reunion between the sharks, Sunset showed to Freddy the artifact responsible of Dave’s transformation into a supersized Megalodon. She then explained to her friends how she put two and two together when Sunny told her the monster was a Megalodon and when Freddy told her his brother disappeared. When she saw the artifact inside the beast, she had her answer.
“Thank you” Said Freddy. “If you ever need our help one day, we’ll come to your rescue!!”
The girls and the sharks parted ways. Sunset and her friends arrived to the beach at dusk. They turned back to normal humans, put their clothes on and headed to their respective homes. Sunset contacted Twilight and showed her the artifact she got from her adventure. One hour later, this one came back with informations on it.
“The artifact you found is a powerful one” replied Twilight. “It’s called the Prime-Globe and It return a magic creature’s power to it’s prime. If Tirek used it, he would gain back the same power he’d have if he stole the magic of the Alicorns. In no case this artifact should fall in evil hands. Bring it to me and i will enchant it with a protection spell preventing magic from stealing it.”
Sunset left her apartment, then ran to the portal and jumped in it. Once on the other side, she continued running until she found Twilight. This one immediately casted a magic spell on it and asked Spike to put it in safety. After that, she invited Sunset to a party she organized to celebrate Spike’s birthday. Sunset accepted with pleasure and followed her.
