32 heroic teams are called to win a special tournament in which whichever team wins can have their greatest wish come true! In order to have that wish granted, an intense battle to decide the fate of our worlds...will be unleashed!

A mysterious new villain has set out to destroy worlds, and has already destroyed Twilight’s own world of Equestria, thus separating her from her own friends! However, she has been brought to a new dimension with new friends. At the same time, heroes from various worlds have been gathered to attend a special event called the Universal Ranger Tournament! And as of such, each of the heroes are told that any wish they desire will come true if they can win that tournament.
To raise the stakes, a gemstone is placed in the site of the match and the team who takes it first wins, and that team who wins the tournament will have one wish granted. The site of each match even appears to be protected by a kind of magic barrier and all contact with the external world is cut. The participants also are prevented from summoning allies in the battle.
In addition to all this, Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends are being threatened by the surly Diesel 10 and his sidekicks Splatter and Dodge, with villains such as Staceaser and Void Knight who also want to compete in the tournament. And, The Conductor (who has always traveled between the train world and the human world of Shining Time Station) is losing his powers and sparkle. In the midst of this crisis, Lillie meets up with Mr. Conductor on the way to visit her pony friend, Twilight Sparkle (who is taking place in the tournament). And together, she and Thomas will remind her, and all her friends...that "even little heroes can do big things."
Each team's opposition to one another in this competition has begun! In order to have their wish fulfilled...an intense battle, and mission to restore magic and worlds will unfold! With the help of her new friends, Twilight will save this new dimension from being threatened! No matter the cost! Let the ultimate tournament of heroes begin!

In the world of Equestria...not too far, and deep in the reaches of the Everfree Forest...were a group of seven powerful ponies, the Mane Six and Starlight Glimmer...just fighting a somewhat powerful alien with eye shoulder pads and a grotesque body, who just slashed them down to the ground.
The Mane six are a group of ponies led by Twilight Sparkle who all embodied artifacts called the Elements of Harmony. Each gem had a special piece of Friendship! Honesty, Loyalty, Laughter, Generosity, Kindness and Magic! They had defended Equestria from any form of enemy that has tried to stop the land from being Harmonized. But now, something really bizarre is going on!
The alien scoffed upon knocking down the first six ponies. “I was expecting I’d find someone stronger than all of you!” He scoffed as he started to walk away. But, just before he could do so, a magenta beam hit him in the back, as he turned around to see Twilight zoom over to him.
She saw her friends who were down on the ground and gasped in shock. “Girls!” She cried out, before turning towards the alien...pure rage glowing through her. “What’s your deal, hurting my friends like this?!” She asked angrily. “You have a grudge against Equestria?”
“So you’re the strongest of your team?” The alien asked.
“And, what if I am?” Twilight shot back. “With the Elements of Harmony working in unison, there's no problem too great! No foe too irredeemable! No evil that can't be outdone!” she readied her horn to fire at him.
“Show me what you got!” The alien said, as he got ready to charge at her too. Twilight tried to fire at him, but never got the chance as the alien whipped his sword to her, sending her down and out.
Twilight gasped upon seeing this technique before. “How did you even master that?!” She asked in shock. “I thought only the Princesses could conjure attacks that powerful!”
The alien just responded by firing beams from his shoulders, sending her down. She struggled to get up, but it was hard for her to be beaten so easily against a new villain. “Do not play games with me, Pony!” He said evilly. “I’m Emperor Marvo! I've survived far worse than your pathetic attempt! Hundreds of worlds, and countless enemies have fallen before me and now you will be added to the list of the defeated and forgotten!” He walked away, leaving the Mane Six beaten and bruised by him.
He then turned back to face the alicorn. “Oh, and here’s a little surprise for you.” He said, as he turned back. Twilight was confused at first, but was then horror stricken as she saw a giant spike-like demon...Lokar land on the ground, hard and raising his arm at her. She gasped, and tried to fire at it. But no matter, how many blasts she threw...it barely penetrated it. She gasped in horror upon seeing it.
“Go on!” Marvo told the Supernova giant. “Destroy Equestria!”
“Yes, master!” The giant demon said, as he aimed his hand at Twilight, who quivered in fear.
“I’m not gonna stick around to see this! But you will!” Marvo cackled, as he jumped through the portal and left. This left Twilight alone to face the giant demon, but she was scared and didn’t know what to do as the demon loomed over her!
“You fool! You and your world will be nothing more than a stain on my own bare hands!” He sneered! He ferociously kicked Twilight down hard, making her unable to get up. Then, within a matter of seconds...he fired a myriad of giant proton spike beams all across Equestria, making everything explode. Countless land areas blew up instantly, until finally, within seconds, Equestria was ravaged and razed, and the planet exploded, taking the dimension with it, as it were a giant supernova! This made Twilight and her friends were now floating through an endless space void.
Twilight was knocked out cold, and so were her friends, and right now, she was drifting farther away from them as if she was being separated! Who even knew where her other friends were? Equestria...and her own dimension were completely destroyed thanks to Emperor Marvo and his giant demon...Lokar, and so far, everyone was floating through space. Twilight was separated from her friends too, as a result of the explosion. It looked like the end of the Mane Six and their allies as well, as they were stuck floating through the multiverse space! However, things would change very soon.
Meanwhile, not too far in the Multiverse space, a golden lion like mecha...GaoGaiGar was hovering through space, with God Raijin-Oh, Gurren Lagann, Might Gaine, Mazinga Z, & Getter Robo G in tow. They had witnessed the explosion and were scouting the area for any one floating. Suddenly, GaoGaiGar noticed what looked like a piece of purple debris floating around.
“Hey, what is that thing floating around in the multiverse space?” Guy from inside the mech asked, pointing at it.
“What?” Ryoma asked from inside Getter Robo G’s cockpit.
“That!” GaoGaiGar said, pointing again. “Over there! I see something!”
The other mechas looked at the area, and saw tons of debris floating through the space. “What ARE they?” Might Gaine asked in surprise as they now saw the various coloured objects floating in space.
“Looks like we’d better zoom in for a closer look.” GaoGaiGar said, as he started to hover forward. “Let’s go!”
The Mechs took off for the debris and looked around. They were surprised to see this much damage around in space.
GaoGaiGar took a look at the purple piece of debris, and scanned it. He got closer to it, and the scanner picked up what appeared to be a Violet alicorn, helplessly floating around. He gasped. “It’s Twilight Sparkle!” He called out to the Mechs in shock.
The other Mechs appeared quickly and were indeed shocked to see her here! “What happened to her?” Simon asked from inside the cockpit.
“Twilight...” Guy said, as he took the pony into the mech’s hands. He was shocked to see her unconscious like this. He looked like he was going to cry, just seeing her in this state. “She’s breathing. She’s just unconscious. I don’t know what she and her friends were doing in all this mess, but it appears that she got the worst of it.”
“But to see Equestria destroyed...” Simon said in shock upon seeing the debris of the destroyed dimension. “Who could be evil as to have done such a thing.”
Guy knew what needed to be done about Twilight, as he took her in the Mech’s hands. “It looks like she’s in pretty bad condition!” He said, seriously. “God Raijin-Oh! Gurren Lagann, Gaine, Mazinga, Getter Robo! Find the other ponies and bring them to the nearest dimension! I’ve gotta get Twilight somewhere safe!”
“Right!” God Raijin-Oh said, saluting him.
“You can count on us!” Kouji said inside Mazinga Z.
“Okay! Go!” Guy said, as the other Mechs took off to find the other ponies. He looked at Twilight, and saw that she was getting worser by the minute. “Don’t worry, Twilight.” Guy said bravely. “You’re going to be okay.” He hovered her away from the debris, through the space, and over to a new sort of dimension...where hopefully, the princess of Friendship would be okay soon.
As the Mechs were scouting the space for the others. God Raijin-Oh and Might Gaine took notice of a few more ponies. One orange, one yellow and one cyan. He knew those ponies as Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy “I found more of Twilight’s friends!” Gaine called out, as he and the other took them in their hands.
“I also found more of them, as well.” Ryoma said, as he switched the thrusters on and he grabbed both Rarity and Pinkie and well as Spike, who was also floating by a thread.
“All that damage...” he said, looking at the floating debris. “And from the looks of it, the dimension’s also gone too.” They all gasped upon hearing this.
“Now, who in their right mind would do such a thing as to destroy Equestria?” Kouji asked.
“All I can assume is that the perpetrator looked to be a black pirate like alien.” Ryoma said. “With shoulder pads like eyes and legs with spikes on them.”
The group turned toward each other, as they had a pretty good idea who Ryoma was referring to.
“Emperor Marvo!” They all said in unison.
“Should’ve known Marvo would be the one to do this to Twilight’s universe!” Simon said angrily, as he pounded his fist on the ground. “He’s Evil incarnate!”
“But what would he even want with the pearl?” Gaine asked.
“I have no idea,” Simon answered. “But whatever it was, I can guarantee it’s not good.” He quickly contacted GaoGaiGar inside Gurren. “Guy! We’ve found some of Twilight’s friends, but there are a few that we haven’t found yet! How’s Twilight doing?”
“Her condition is getting worse!” Guy said, as he hovered over to a brand new dimension sphere.
“We found out it was Marvo who destroyed Twilight’s dimension.” God Raijin-Oh alerted, as he contacted him.
“What?! That bastard!” Guy said angrily inside his mech. “Should’ve known he’d have something to do with this!”
“We know.” Gaine said, contacting him. “Where are you taking Twilight?”
“Well, the good news is that I found a Super Dimension...which is Thomas’, Shantae’s, Cardcaptors, the Pokémon and the Digimon world combined.” Guy said. “I plan on bringing Twilight there. Any luck with the others?”
“Yeah!” Ryoma said inside Getter Robo G. “But, they’re not holding out well either.” Guy saw on the video contact that they ponies were getting worse. He was shocked upon seeing this.
“What do we do?” Guy asked in shock.
“Unless, we can get them to that dimension and find a way to stop Emperor Marvo...” Simon said seriously. “...nobody is going to win this war.”
“When do we open the portal to the Super Dimension?” Guy asked.
“As soon as you’re ready to land.” Simon contacted.
GaoGaiGar arrived to the Super Dimension sphere, and switched his thrusters off. “I’m outside the dimension’s borders.” He contacted the others. “We have full contact.”
“Then, it’s time.” Gaine said as the other Mechs nodded. “Simon, we’re ready!” He instructed.
Simon nodded, as he hit a button inside Gurren. “Ignition!” He shouted, as the other Mechs took off after their leader.
“Prepare for blastoff!” Guy shouted, as the other Mechs arrived to him, as he switched his thrusters on Stealth Gao. The portal to the Super Dimension opened, and they were ready to go through!
“We’re ready, Guy!” God Raijin-Oh said in alert.
“Punch it!” Ryoma said, as he hit the button to allow them to go through.
“Destination...Sodor Island!” Guy shouted, as he and the other mechas were enveloped inside the vortex, and were about to arrive.
“Bring the others to Melemele island in the Alola region.” GaoGaiGar said to them. “Tell Lillie, Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana to get there right away!”
“Right!” Simon inside Gurren Lagann said, as they broke off the lead mech to head to their destination.
“Alright!” GaoGaiGar said as he switched his thrusters on Drill Gao. “Here I come!” And with that, he zoomed over to the island where Twilight would awaken soon.
She and her friends had almost met their end at the hands of Marvo, but GaoGaiGar and his team of Mechs saved them. And now, Twilight and her friends would be brought somewhere safe. For right now, everything went black for them. But, they would awaken soon when they arrived and the hot air would hit their faces in a matter of seconds. Little did anypony know, that their luck would change in an unexpected way...that no one had ever thought of.
It was a nice day on the Island of Sodor in the Conjoined dimension (Pokémon, Cardcaptors, Sirens, Digimon, and Magic Railroad). Trains were bustling about on the tracks and it was sunny out. However, something special would happen as a purple energy portal opened, and the King Mecha of Braves...GaoGaiGar arrived from the portal easily. He switched off his thrusters on his jet boots, and landed on the ground safely.
Carefully, he set Twilight down on the ground. “Welcome, Twilight Sparkle...” The mech said. “...to your new home.” He scanned the new dimension for any signs of danger. So far, nothing as she was perfectly safe.
“Well, I gotta go check the multiverse to see where the rest of your friends are.” GaoGaiGar said as he switched his thrusters on. “Good luck, Twilight. Take care!” He jumped up, and took off for the Multiverse space, as he went through the portal, which closed up after he went through it.
After he left, the hot air hit Twilight’s cheek. A few moments later, she woke up and was surprised at what she saw. She sure wasn’t in Equestria. That’s for sure! But, she WAS on an island. She looked around, and saw lush green hills and tunnels as well as a few train tracks. She sure was confused as to where she even was.
“Hello? Where am I?” She asked upon looking at the area. “What is this place?” She slowly got up on her hooves and walked around the area. She smiled upon seeing this area, and wondered if this was a part of her former world that she never explored. She smiled as she breathed while the hot air hit her chest, and trotted along the countryside. She could get used to all this.
However, it would get a little abrupt for her as somehow...she poked her head in a nearby hole. She guessed it was a critter hole, as she whispered. “Hello, my little friends. Spring is here.” She smiled to see what would come out of the hole. Much to her surprise, though...it was a litter of Dedenne Pokémon that popped out of the hole.
Twilight quickly retracted her head in fear, thinking they were porcupines. “Gah! Porcupines! Porcupines!” She screeched, as she backed away, not knowing that she went into another hole that had wild Ribombees, whom she thought were bees. “BEES!” She screamed as she ran out. Unfortunately, she wasn’t looking as she turned and ran RIGHT into a tree, to which at that moment, a hive filled with Araquanids landed on her head.
Twilight was further horrified at the fact that she thought they were spiders! “(Bleep!)” she immediately screamed, as she ran into a different hole and Mimikyus approached her. She screamed again as she ran out, and stumbled on a rock as a result of her not looking where she was going! She tumbled onto a hill, and rolled down onto some railroad tracks. As the pony got up, she felt dizzy and tried to get her bearings on where she even was.
In the Island of Sodor, every railroad had its heroes. Meet Thomas, a blue tank engine with the number ‘1’ on his sides. He’s the island’s #1 hero! This island was where Thomas and his friends lived, which was at one end of this special conjoined dimension. Thomas was chugging alongside the railroad tracks getting to the station, not knowing that his life was about to change unexpectedly.
As Twilight collected her bearings, she saw a train on the railroad tracks coming right towards her. Her eyes widened in shock upon seeing him, and screamed, as she braced herself in her wings. The train inched closer and closer to her, and she was shocked. However, what surprised her all of a sudden was when the train suddenly stopped. Twilight’s ears perked upon hearing it stop, and the fact that she heard the train’s whistle. Slowly, she unfurled herself from her wings and was shocked to see a train with a face on it.
The train had a shocked look on its face, as it was surprised to see the lavender creature on the ground, quivering in fear. “Cinders and Ashes!” It said. “A winged pony on the tracks!”
Twilight was surprised to see him and gasped. “You can talk!” She said in amazement. “I’ve never seen a train talk.”
Thomas chuckled. “Neither have I seen a pony talk either!” He said, as she chuckled. “But, it’s surprising to see someone like yourself here. I’m Thomas.”
Thomas was surprised as he heard that name. “Twilight Sparkle?” He asked. “The Princess Twilight Sparkle?!”
She chuckled. “Yep. She’s the one!”
“Well, I’d never thought I’d see you here.” Thomas said happily. “What were you doing on the tracks?”
Twilight blushed. “Oh, well I was running away from some rabid porcupines, bees and spiders.” She explained. “They were really creepy looking.”
“Oh, well that’s new to see.” Thomas said, as he sounded his whistle. “Come on! I’ll take you to the sheds, where my friends are!”
Twilight beamed. “You have friends here?!” She asked.
“I sure do!” Thomas said. “Hop on!” Twilight wasted no time in hopping on Thomas as he chugged away towards the Sodor sheds to see his other train friends.
Thomas chugged along to the train station, as he passed the hills along the way. Needless to say, Twilight was enjoying it. She took in a deep breath, and enjoyed the fresh air, as it was a nice ride to enjoy. Eventually, they reached the station right by another blue train, who was a little grouchy, as they arrived.
“Counting your numbers, Gordon!” Thomas said happily. “That’s a pretty good engine.”
The other blue engine...Gordon merely snorted. “I was just counting how many seconds late you are.” He simply stated. “What does that sign say?”
Twilight flew up to the sign and read it. “Sodor Railway: Really reliable, and right on time.” she said, as she turned to Thomas, smiling as he smiled back at her too.
“Signed head of the railway...Sir Topham Hatt” Thomas finished.
“Sir Topham Hatt?” Twilight asked, confused.
“Oh, he’s the head of the railway at the Island of Sodor.” Thomas answered, as Twilight cocked her head again. “The island where you are right now.” Twilight understood now, as she nodded.
“Well, you and your friend weren’t on time today.” Gordon told them.
“And you’re being bossy, Gordon.” Thomas said, jokingly. “Now, if you’ll excuse us, Twilight and I are visiting Mr. Conductor today, and he’s looking after us, while Sir Topham Hatt take a much needed vacation.”
Gordon just scoffed. “Oh, I think we can take care of ourselves.” He said.
“Sounds like somepony is being a little grumpy.” The alicorn joked.
“Oh, please it’s not like YOU’RE the boss around here!” Gordon scoffed. Twilight gasped, as she retracted her wings, stammering for a comeback.
“Don’t worry, Twilight. I’m sure Gordon is a little grumpy.” Thomas said to her. “I’m sure he lightens up later on.”
“Unlike somepony I know.” Twilight said from under her breath. However, all that silence would be interrupted by a diesel train coming right up to them unexpectedly.
The diesel train zoomed past them, leaving a cloud of smoke. “GET OUT OF MY WAY!” He shouted. “I have unfinished business, and I want to finish it fast!” He zoomed towards the sheds.
Gordon was startled as he wriggled nervously. “The Diesel 10’s back!” He said in shock, as he groaned.
“Who’s Diesel 10?” Twilight asked in confusion.
“Only the 10 out of 10 engines.” Thomas told her. “With devious deeds and brutal strength! He’s a blast from the past who hates steam engines!”
“At least I wouldn’t hate you!” Twilight said, as she hugged him.
“Yes...it seems that maybe we could use your friend, and Mr. Conductor here after all.” Gordon said nervously. “Just get to the sheds.”
“Come on, Twilight.” Thomas said. “I’ll take you to meet the others.”
“That sounds great.” Twilight said, as she rode on Thomas as he took off for his friends. As he chugged along, Twilight was wondering about something, ever since she was flung through the multiverse space. I wonder where MY friends are, right now. she wondered. She would find them soon.
Right now, she just met a talking tank engine, and she was about to meet his friends. She could also only wonder WHAT Diesel 10 was planning. Whatever it was, it couldn’t be good.
Thomas arrived at the Tidmouth Sheds with Twilight just hanging on for the ride. They had talked about some of their moments and adventures on the way. When they got there, they boarded into the area. “So, this is where you live?” Twilight asked, as she wrote in her notebook (which came out of nowhere). “Fascinating.”
“I know...even for a train, it’s nice living here.” Thomas agreed. “I bet your friends would love seeing a place like this.”
“Yeah...it would.” Twilight said, as she started to look down.
Thomas immediately knew something was wrong, judging by the look on her face. “What’s wrong, Twilight?” He asked her.
Twilight looked down at the ground sadly. “I miss my friends.” She confirmed. “Ever since I was flung in space, I was separated from any of my friends.” Tears started to trickle through her eyes. “I don’t know where any of them are, or how I can find them.”
Thomas understood how she felt, as his friends have suffered things like this. “Don’t worry, Twilight.” Thomas said. “I’m pretty sure you’ll find your friends soon. They’re probably looking for you too.”
Twilight stopped crying, and looked up, smiling. “You really think so?” She asked.
“Of course.” Thomas told her. “As one friend to another, I bet your friends will be okay. They’re probably here in this world.”
Twilight smiled, and hugged her friend. “Thanks, Thomas.” She said. “I’ll find them sometime. But right now, I might need a little rest.” She saw that the sun was setting, and that it was getting late.
“Oh. Wow. It sure is getting late.” Thomas said, as he saw the sky getting darker. “I think you’ll feel better after a long night’s rest. And, I will too.” He yawned, as he dozed off and went to sleep.
Twilight saw her friend sleeping, and yawned too, as she slept in his car, right behind him. “Night, Thomas.” She said.
“Night, Twilight.” Thomas said, as they dozed off. Twilight sure needed her energy, which she would get when she woke up the next day, which would come sooner than you think. Thomas would help too, if at all possible. The quest would start tomorrow.
The next day, Twilight, who was still asleep suddenly sniffed the air and woke up, "What's that aroma?" she followed the smell out of the car which led her to the revolving part of the shed. Surprised, she saw a plate of maple syrup pancakes. She licked her lips and rushed over to it, picked the plate up, and started to munch on them happily. She had never had such a great breakfast meal in such a long time.
A brown engine, Toby chugged over to her slowly, and stopped. spoke to her excitedly, "Good morning, Twilight Sparkle. Sleep well?" He asked excitedly.
"Oh! Good morning," she said, eating the pancakes at the same time, "You made me breakfast?"
"Yep.” Toby simply answered. “Hope you like pancakes."
Twilight smiled and blushed, "Aw! Thomas and the others are so sweet." She said.
"Well, I felt that you haven’t eaten since you arrived, and since Guy has given you a home here, I felt like it was the least we could do." he answered.
"No problem." Twilight said. “And Guy? How did he find me?”
“You were floating through the multiverse space, and he found you.” Thomas confirmed.
“I’ll have to thank Guy for helping me out later.” Twilight said, as she munched on her breakfast. “But, right now...I’m in the mood to eat.”
"I'm so glad to hear that." Thomas said happily.
"You know if you wanna learn more about cooking, you should talk to Pinkie Pie." Twilight suggested.
"I'll keep that in mind if we ever see her.” Thomas said. “You got a big day ahead of yourself.” he reminded the pony, who continued to eat.
After she had finished her breakfast, she readied up her saddlebag, loading it with not more than two books. “I just had to pack up a few books and papers about the new world I arrived in yesterday.” She said, as she readied it up. “I hope I didn’t pack too much. It's fun, relaxing and rewarding and—“ she stopped herself mid sentence. “Too much to talk about right now.”
“So, where ARE you going to go right now?” Thomas asked her.
“I don’t know where.” Twilight told them. “But, I have to find my other friends. They might be my only hope for brining my dimension back.” Twilight started walking off, but turned back. “I’ll let you know if anything comes up.” She smiled, as she took off towards parts unknown, as Thomas and Toby watched her leave. One thing’s for sure...they would definitely see her again...no matter where she went.
Twilight was flying through this new dimension a few times, and still no clue to where to where her friends were! She groaned, as she was repeatedly flying through many pathways, each leading to the same way. “How in the world am I going to find my friends or any help in this land, if all I do is waste time flying in the same direction?!” She then though if an idea, as she blindly flew again.
“I'm just gonna fly right up to whoever, and tell he or she what I think about their approach to help!” She said, sneakily. “Won't anyone be surprised!” However, her idea was suddenly interrupted when she saw a violet typhoon drop, scaring her. She clung onto a tree, and saw the typhoon dissipate to reveal a purple armored alien.
“I think I may have just got my surprise!” She said, nervously, as she watched the alien wander around.
The alien was walking around with a scanner-like device in his hand, and it was beeping. Suddenly, it went off as if there was no tomorrow! “Energy source detected.” The scanner said.
“Under those old statues?” The alien asked. “Interesting. Then, Emperor Marvo was right! There is energy in this area!” He quickly put the scanner away, and got out his sword, and slashed the ground, leaving a crater-shaped hole in it.
Twilight braced herself from the impact of the blast, but still kept watch of the alien’s activity, as it used its scanner, which got stronger as he walked closer. “Energy source locked on.” It said.
“Excellent.” The alien said, as it walked through that crater.
Twilight decided to follow him into that crater. Seeing that she has been through archives, libraries, and passageways by herself, she wanted to check it out. Slowly, she stepped in the crater to avoid being heard. She continued walking until she was underground, and inside a room, like a base. She gasped in awe as she saw all the things that were in there. Tech, a containment chamber...and possibly books. Now, she really wished her friends were here to see this. Either way, she fell in love with this whole room.
She saw a dusty statue, and blew the dust off. She coughed a little, but she looked around. “Wow!” She said, as she scanned the room, smiling. The room lit up, as she scanned it, and she felt like she could enjoy this.
Suddenly, she ducked behind a tech cart, when she saw the alien searching the room for the energy, his scanner still on. “Where’s that energy source?” He asked, still holding his scanner. “It must be mine.” He walked closer and closer to the area, until he saw something move. “What’s this?!” He ran towards Twilight, who was indeed scared by his appearance, and that he was coming to get her.
“Oh no!” She gasped, as she flew off the cabinet, and landed in the Center of the room, as the alien approached her, aiming his sword at her. He fired a beam at her, knocking her down in pain. She groaned, rubbing herself, as he came closer.
“Tell me, little pony!” The alien said. “The energy source...where is it?!”
“Firstly, I’m an alicorn...” Twilight simply stated. “Second, was all that really necessary?!”
“Do not play games with me!” He said, aiming his sword at her. “I am Void Knight! And you are no match for my power!” He started to slash her, as she jumped out of the way, backing up whole he followed her. “Now tell me...where is the energy source?!”
“Uh, can you be more specific?” Twilight asked him nervously.
“Don’t you play the fool with me!” Void Knight said, as he aimed his sword at her, as she covered herself in her wings. It looked like she would meet her end.
However, a lightning bolt zapped him, as he stepped back in shock as he saw an electric mouse fire lightning from his cheeks right at him. “What?!” He asked as the mouse stepped closer to him, as a human boy ran towards him. He was in sports attire, as well as a cap on his head, as he smiled boldly towards him. It was Ash Ketchum...super skilled Pokémon trainer! The electric mouse was his partner, Pikachu!
“Great job, Pika!” Ash said, as it happily cooed. He pointed at Void Knight. “Leave that pony alone!” Void Knight growled as he raised his sword at them. Only at that moment, a fire ball zoomed right at him, sending him down to the ground to which a female genie appeared, fire balls already conjured.
“This may come as a shock to you...” she said. “But, nobody likes a bully!” She sent a few fire balls towards him, singeing him as he rolled in the ground.
“You’ll pay for this!” Void Knight shouted in pure rage.
“Great move!” Ash said to her.
“Thanks.” She said. “But that won’t hold him for long! We gotta help that pony!” Ash nodded as they dashed towards her, joy at that moment, Void Knight got back up, ready to strike.
“You want your friend?” He asked, aiming his sword at the cowering pony. “You’ll have to get through my army of Sporix beasts and Kudaiter Worlds first!” He clicked a key into his sword, and an array of grotesque and metal-like creatures appeared before them! Ash and Shantae got ready for battle.
“We’re always up for a challenge!” Ash said bravely, getting out a Pokémon ball. “Bring it on!”
“Attack!” Void Knight shouted as the army advanced towards them, as Ash quickly handed Shantae a Pokémon ball as well.
“Use this!” He told her. “It’s a Pokeball! I’m using one too!”
Shantae quickly understood. “Okay.” She said. “It’s time to show them how it’s done!”
Ash nodded as he threw his ball up. “Talonflame....I choose you!” He shouted, as a Flame Falcon Pokémon came out of the ball, and emerged!
Shantae saw the ball, and nodded. “Alright.” She said, as she tossed it. “Whatever you are....I choose you!” The ball opened to reveal a ninja anthro frog Pokémon. She was shocked at first, but then decided to deal with it. “Okay!” She said to it. “So, let’s see what you can do!”
The frog Pokémon...Greninja nodded, as it jumped up to perform a tongue whip slash towards a few of the Sporix beasts, sending them down.
“Talonflame...use Fire Blast!” Ash shouted, as Talonflame fired an array of flames from its mouth, singeing a few of the beast, sending them down instantly.
“Okay...” Shanate started, only to realize she did not know the Pokémon’s name. “What is this one?” She asked Ash.
“Greninja.” Ash answered.
“Got it!” She turned to him. “Greninja...use...” she thought of an attack. “Water Shuriken!” She shouted. Greninja nodded as it conjured up a water ninja star and tossed it at the Kudaiter Worlds, sending them down instantly and making them short out.
“What?!” Void Knight said in shock, seeing his army easily defeated. He was furious. “That’s it! I’ll tear you apart!” He shouted, as he got out his sword and was ready to slash them.
“Talonflame! Use Brave Bird!” Ash called out, as it turned into a blue typhoon and zoomed past the Knight, making him easily go down.
“Greninja! Pikachu!” Shantae called out. “Use water ball and Thundershock!” The two creatures nodded as they jumped up, and Greninja enveloped Void Knight into a ball of water, while Pikachu used electricity from his cheeks and blasted him, sending him down.
He growled as he got up. “That’s it!” He shouted. “I’ve had enough of you!” He raised his sword in the air, ready to slash them, when a red Pokémon like creature showed up, with a teen with sports attire and goggles on his head. Also with them was a girl in super solar Angel-like clothing. “What?!” He asked in fury.
“That’s as close as you’ll come, Void Knight!” The red creature shouted. “We knew your other warriors like Danu and Ceridwen fell! Now, you’ll share the same fate!”
“So, care to give up or make things difficult?” The girl in Angel clothing said.
“I’m not giving up for anybody!” Void Knight said in rage. “You’re all gonna pay!” He ran towards the new arrivals.
The new heroes ran towards him with the boy throwing a punch to his gut. The red Pokémon like creature jumped up, and kicked him in the chest plate and sent him down. But Void Knight got back up and growled, as he took a slash, which the new arrivals dodged quickly, by jumping.
The girl in the Angel clothing jumped up, and tossed her staff at the boy. “Mikey, catch!” She said.
Mikey caught the staff excitedly. “Whoa! We’re rocking it, Sakura!” He said, as they teamed up and kicked him hard in the helmet.
“Wow!” Ash said, as they watched the fight unfold. “So far, that’s some real teamwork right there!” Shantae nodded, and they ran to join them. Mikey and Sakura held the Knight in place, as Ash called on Pikachu. “Use Thunder!” He shouted, as Pikachu jumped up, and tackled him to the ground, and used his tail to emit thunder and whack him to a wall.
The red creature and Shantae helped retaliate as Shantae, herself used an array of fire balls at him, and the red creature...Shoutmon threw a mega punch at him, sending him down again. The new arrivals regrouped, ready to fight him. “Where did you get that Armor?” Mikey asked him.
“Doesn’t matter!” The Knight answered. “It’s mine now!” He aimed his saber at them. “And, now it’s time to finish you off!” He readied it for another slash, when he heard an angry voice.
“Hey!” It said. Void Knight turned to see Twilight, who was indeed very angry with him. She slowly approached him, horn at the ready. “You leave those five alone!” She shouted.
“And, why should I listen to a pony?” He asked. “You’re just one hero!”
“Alright, you asked for it!” Twilight shouted, as she revved up her horn and fired at the Knight, sending him about a few feet back. The others watched and exclaimed in excitement upon seeing her fight back. She quickly fired a few more blasts towards him, as he jumped back.
“This isn’t over!” He bellowed furiously.
“Keep telling yourself that!” Twilight shouted, as she continued to fire at him. At that point, the armored alien felt that it was time to retreat.
“Emperor Marvo will crush you!” He shouted as she retreated, leaving only the good guys left.
As Void Knight left, a stuffed bear-like fairy flew down to the rest of the heroes. “Void Knight won’t be back for a while.” It said. “I’m glad all of you are okay!” It flew into Sakura’s arms as she patted it.
Twilight panted a few breaths to catch herself as she turned to face the new heroes that came to her aid. She flew over to them. “I don’t know who any of you guys are.” She said. “But you saved my life.”
“We’re just glad we could help you when we could.” Ash said, as he stuck out his hand to her hoof.
“Thanks.” Twilight said as she shook it.
“Who are you?” Sakura asked, as she saw her. “I’ve never seen anyone quite as powerful as you.”
“My name’s Twilight Sparkle.” Twilight simply stated. “And you are...?”
“Oh, I’m Ash!” Ash told her. “And this is Pikachu.” He motioned for the electric mouse to his side, as it happily cooed “pika.” Twilight smiled, as she patted it.
“I’m Sakura.” Sakura said, as she shook Twilight’s hoof.
The bear-like fairy flew up to her. “And, I’m Kerberos...or Kero, as I’m usually called.” It said. “I’m Sakura’s partner.”
Twilight screamed immediately, as if she were caught off guard. “Holy!” She said in shock. “You’re like a toy fairy!” She hid herself in her wings again.
“It’s alright, Twilight.” Sakura said, as she patted her, making her wings retract. “Kero here is pretty much harmless.”
Kero blushed. “I can see you’re not used to a talking bear fairy.” He said, as Twilight giggled.
“I don’t think so.” She said, as she patted him, “But, you do look cute.” He just giggled as he heard that.
“I’m Shantae.” The genie introduced herself.
“I’m Mikey.” The other boy introduced, and this is Shoutmon. He motioned to the red creature, who smiled at her.
“Hi.” The red creature said, as Twilight gasped.
“You can also talk?!” She asked in shock.
“Well, of course I can.” Shoutmon answered. “Can’t you?” Twilight blushed.
Twilight looked to the side, and back to her rescuers. “You guys were lucky to come here!” She said. “That alien...Void Knight almost tried to kill me!”
“Void Knight?” Ash said. “He’s one of the most powerful aliens in the multiverse.”
“And, who was emperor Marvo?” Twilight asked.
“Emperor Marvo is a monster.” Shantae confirmed. “He has destroyed countless dimensions in the past.”
“He must’ve destroyed my own dimension.” Twilight said, after thinking about this. “And my friends...the old friends I used to have...are probably gone.” She let a tear trickle out of her eyes as she said that.
“What matters is that you’re here, now.” Mikey said. “And, we’ll help you out with trying to adapt to this new dimension you’re in.”
“Besides...” Sakura added. “I think you should know that you’ve got some heroes on your side!”
Twilight saw them and she smiled. “I guess I have at least a few new friends where I am now.” She said, as she gained composure again. “ Besides, it’s a little late to continue to find my friends, since I am a little lost in this new world.”
“Of course, Twilight.” Ash said in agreement. “You’re not getting all the glory, doing this all on your own. We're in this together.”
“We got your back.” Shoutmon agreed.
“We are ready to save your new world!” Shantae added as well. “And, find your friends...no matter how long it takes.”
“We're all behind you, Twilight.” Mikey said too.
Twilight smiled warmly at her new friends. “I guess we got a new world to protect...if it means saving mine.” She said. “ We’ll continue the quest tomorrow. I just wish I’ll get to see my world again.”
“Of course, Twilight!” Sakura said. “Whatever, we can do...we’ll help you find your friends again. Even if it does take some time.”
“Of course.” Twilight said, as she yawned and collapsed on the floor. It was getting a little late to continue the quest, and she could always resume another time.
Ash decided to join her, as he laid on his side right next to her. Shantae collapsed above Ash & Twilight, Sakura fell asleep right next to Shantae, & Mikey fell asleep right below Twilight. Pikachu, Kero & Shoutmon all collapsed together, and fell asleep right next to Mikey. They could always continue finding the rest of Twilight’s old friends another time. Right now, it sure was time to get some rest.
However, in the midst of their rest...somehow, they all had dream...a somewhat shared dream! In their dream, a team of humans in spandex suits jumped up, while many other teams of those humans joined them as they charged towards an unknown armada. They fought this armada with swords, and blasters, and their fight went on until a red Dino suited human with a white suited warrior with a rainbow on his suit charged at a few foot soldiers. Joining them were a team of green and black suited warriors with arm armor, as well as a red Dino robotic like warrior, who was using his sword and shield to strike at them.
Whatever this dream was that the heroes had in their sleep...it would likely be a vision of the future. But, it would be one for the better, as things would change...unknowingly for the better.
The next day had arrived, as the sun shone brightly into the sky, as light seeped through the building, right into everyone’s eyes. Twilight was the first to wake up, as she felt very refreshed. She made to get up, only to find her arms and legs felt pinned to the ground.
Blinking the drowsiness out her eyes, she came upon the most curious sight of the base glowing dimly as she woke up. Finally, her legs were able to move as well as her arms, as if they were off a steamroller. She then saw her new friends already awake, and smiling.
"Well, what a way to celebrate your first day with new friends." She said with a small hopeful smile.
"It is nice to actually have a pony friend for the first time." Sakura said, as she smiled back.
"Well, I'm glad to be your friend, as of now." She said while pulling herself up, careful not to overdo it.
“A little water?” Kero asked, as he handed her a glass of water. Twilight nodded, as she took a sip. The mare couldn't help but think about how she lost everything the previous day, and how she might have to start all over again. However, little did she know...she wouldn’t start over again.
Now, you would be right in thinking this is how the story would end. But, actually...it’s how it begins.
Twilight smiled, and was about to compliment her new friend, when suddenly, a golden ticket appeared out of thin air. Her friends all rushed over to see the ticket. “That’s odd,” She said curiously. “I’ve never gotten mail like that before.”
“Well don’t just stand there, Twi,” Mikey said. “You can tear that sucker open!”
Twilight took the ticket and read it. She wasn’t sure what this meant for her OR her friends! Suddenly, all of them were enveloped in blue light and teleported to a game-like planet called Nemesis. And they weren’t the only ones teleported there. So many other beams of light were sent there as well! It was an impressive light show. However, everything would be explained once they arrived, and when they did, they were still together when they found themselves in an assembly-like room.
“Forced teleport." Ash said in awe, as he looked around. He even saw various other sorts of heroes entering as well, and from the looks of it...it was almost as if there was a huge event happening, and there would be. “Looks like it's some kind of opening ceremony.”
“I'm not surprised there is one after all someone did to teleport us here.” Mikey said.
It quickly became packed with little room to move. All different types of flashy colors, shiny weapons, brash armor, and flashy hair and hairstyles were around them. None of the players looked ugly either, as exotic and beautiful skin tones and bone structures were chosen for their forms. The scene made up one shimmering and shifting rainbow of people. Everyone was packed into the square.
Some even got anxious about why they were here as well. At that moment, someone’s piercing scream silenced the entire area. "Hey... look up!"
Twilight looked up to see the stage, which there was actually a microphone. At that moment, a girl in a Cyan kimono with a golden staff arrived, and smiled. “Welcome to planet Nemesis!” She boldly announced. “I’m Rita. In the protector of the Universal Connect...creating a miracle every 500 years the multiverse aligns.”
"Here we go," Ash chuckled. "We get to have some fun. I wonder what exactly we have gotten ourselves into with all this showmanship."
“If you win this Universal Ranger Tournament...” Rita continued to announce. “...you can have any wish granted.”
Twilight’s ears perked up. “Any wish?” She asked in amazement.
“But, it seems like you only get one wish.” Mikey advised her.
“One wish?” Twilight asked disappointed. “Oh, but there’s so many things I want! How can I choose? Like my friends back! Or my universe restored! No, wait! I want my friends back and my universe restored!” The others chucked lightly in response to her.
“I wish to get that growth spurt Mikey promised me!” Shoutmon said jokingly, as Mikey giggled and patted him on the head.
“You’ll get it in due time, Shoutmon.” Mikey said, as he patted him.
“Before we begin...” Rita continued. “I’d like to split you into 32 teams of five. One will be a team of six, since he has his partner with him.”
The new heroes gasped in shock, as one team will be a six person team. “Who’s the partner?” Sakura asked.
“Is it Shoutmon?” Shantae asked, pointing to him.
“I hope she means me!” Shoutmon said as he blushed.
“Talonflame?” Ash asked.
“Greninja?” Sakura asked.
“Spike?” Twilight blurted out, as she covered her mouth, blushing.
“What?” Everyone asked.
“Who’s Spike?” Shantae asked.
“Long story.” Was all Twilight could say.
“There in the back!” Rita said, pointing to the yellow mouse. “That one!”
“Pika?” Pikachu said in shock.
“I think she means Pikachu.” Ash said, as the others nodded.
“I’m not complaining...but I wanted to be the sixth one.” Shoutmon said calmly.
“Well, now then...” Rita said, as she snapped her fingers. “Let the game begin!” And just like that, all the participants who were teleported to the room were teleported away to different areas. It went like this until Twilight and her new friends were left. They were confused at what the heck was happing right now.
“Uh, why haven’t we teleported yet?” Sakura asked, confused. “Shouldn’t we do that too, right about now?”
“I think we’re about to be teleported.” Twilight said, pointing to the sky, as they were soon slowly teleported one by one.
Would they remain together? Or would they be separated, just after they met? One thing’s for sure is this...whatever the outcome was, it would be an unexpected one!
Twilight looked around to see that she was left. Then, she started to glow white, and closed her eyes, smiling. She had felt something like this before, and she was going to feel it again. Whatever it was, it would lead her to a special surprise!
After all, the Universal Ranger Tournament...led by Rita...was about to commence, and the new heroes would soon see what was in store for them!
When we last left our heroes, they were somehow teleported together to the planet Nemesis to take part in the Universal Ranger Tournament! Now, what’s left is that everyone has been chosen in teams of five...with the exception of one. They have been recently teleported away to different areas of the universe. Now, it’s time to see what happens next!
The last thing Twilight, herself felt when she was beamed up was that her eyes were blinded by belief and that she would be in suspended animation. However, the light cleared and she came into a cabana-like room. She looked around, and saw it was similar to an apartment. As she came in, she was surprised to see her new friends already in the same room.
“Wow!” Twilight said in shock and amazement. “So, we’re all in this team?”
“It Kinda seems so, Twilight.” Shantae said, smiling. “The way you helped us against Void Knight, it’s no surprise you’d be here as well.”
“Quite a surprise!” Ash agreed. “I thought we’d have to be lumped with some other warriors whom none of us knew.”
“This is so amazing!” Sakura said, as she jumped up in excitement. “We get to participate together!” She hugged Twilight really tight.
“Sakura...” she said weakly. “Let go...now!”
“Oops!” Sakura said, as she released her grip on the pony. “Sorry.” She blushed.
Twilight got back up, and sighed. “Well, since we’re all going to be part of this team...we should at least tell each of us a little bit about each other. I have yet to learn about you all.” She said.
“Alright...a little bit about myself.” Ash said as he got up. “I’m an expert Pokémon trainer! You saw how I used Talonflame & Pikachu earlier.” He pointed to his Pokeball and Pikachu who happily cooed. “What I want to be is an expert gym leader, just like the others I’ve met before!”
“For me?” Shantae said, as she got up, and carefully conjured small fire balls which were not too destructive. “I’m part Genie.” Everyone gawked in amazement at her powers. “Maybe if I win, I’d want to keep my village or this dimension protected.”
“I’m a Digimon trainer...” Mikey said, as he stood up. “It’s similar to Pokémon, only it’s digital creatures.” He showed his digidex to Twilight who was surprised.
“Fascinating...” Twilight said, as she wrote on a piece of paper.
“What I’d want is to visit more of the Pokémon regions, where Ash has been!” Mikey concluded, as he playfully noogied Ash on the head. “Plus, I’d want to learn more about them. He put his machine away, and petted Pikachu carefully.
Sakura decided to speak. “Well, for me? You can tell by the suit, and the staff that I am a Cardcaptor.” She explained.
“You’re a cardcaptor?!” Shantae asked in delight.
“Yes.” Sakura simply answered, as she thought, “Why is being a Cardcaptor such a shock to everyone?”
“So, what do you want if you win?” Ash asked, curiously.
“If I won...” she said, closing her eyes. “I would want to keep the cards of my world guarded at all costs, so that no evil can get towards them.”
Everyone was surprised at her response, as they had not expected a response such as this one. “Wow.” Mikey said, stunned. “That was...pretty dark.”
Sakura just shrugged. “Somehow, I don’t find that response shocking.” She smiled, as she turned to Twilight. “What’s your goal for if you win, Twilight?” They all turned to Twilight was was shocked, as her wings flew up instantly.
Twilight looked at her new friends, and took in a deep breath, using the technique Cadence had taught her. She spoke. “Where I am from, I’m the last Equestrian Alicorn princess.” She explained. “An alicorn is somewhat of a unicorn with wings of a Pegasus.” She showed her wings and horn for proof. “If I win the tournament, then what I would want is my old dimension back, and my friends. But, I can’t fight against other warriors. I would go against my nature as the princess of Friendship entirely. I only do that when it’s okay to do so, whenever some creature threatens my home.” She bowed her head down.
The others were so shocked at all this, as her response was more darker than Sakura’s, and more emotional. “Wow.” Sakura broke the ice. “I was not expecting anything like that.” She pet her gently. “You miss your world, do you?” Twilight gave no response, up just bowed her head down sadly.
Just then, an announcement came on the screen! “Ladies and Gentlemen!” the announcement scared the living daylights of them as they jumped up in shock. They saw Rita on the screen. “The matches are about to start! I’ll announce the members fighting in each battle!”
On the top right of the screen, shown a bracket filled with all the teams, similar to a basketball tournament. “The members of the team that wins five matches will have their wish granted!” Rita continued. “Now, for the first 4 matches in A block of round one!” the screen hovered to show the first two teams of the bracket. “First..the oddball team vs the Galaxy team!” The circles flashed to show Twilight Sparkle, herself, and The red space Power Ranger.
“What?!” Everyone jumped up literally as if they missed something.
“We’re the oddball team?!” Ash jumped up in shock.
“I’m an oddball too?!” Twilight exclaimed in outrage. "Okay. That’s not how…Wow, I feel so insulted…” She grumbled.
“This is it, Twilight!” Mikey said patting her. “Your first tournament battle! You ready?”
Twilight sighed. “If this is what will bring back my world, then yes. I am.” She smiled, and got up, and flew to the exit to her first battle. “Catch you later!” She called out as she left.
“Go for it!” Sakura called out, waving.
“You can do it!” Shantae said, waving as well! “Good luck!”
Twilight was off to her first battle as she would be facing the Galaxy team! Who knows who she’ll face, and how she’ll handle it? She had participated in battles before. So, this one should be a cakewalk! Right? The Universal Ranger Tournament was about to commence. The matches were about to start! This was it for Twilight! Her first tournament battle! The fate of her world, and other’s would start to be decided.
Andros, the red Space Ranger had already arrived to the first battlefield. He turned to see Twilight land on her hooves on the ground. He bowed respectfully. “Pleased to meet you.” He said. “I am reluctant to fight against my fellow heroes, but if I must, I will do so to the extent of my abilities.”
Twilight took in a deep breath and spoke. “Just to be clear...we’re fighting just to win. This is NOT a battle to the death.” She reminded him. “So, let’s just get this over with, to get our wishes granted. Let’s make this a fair, clean fight.”
“Got it.” Andros obliged, to which Rita’s projection came into view.
“Before we begin, let’s do a breakdown of the rules.” Rita announced, as she revealed a rock on the screen that looked like an infinity logo. “The Universe Connect causes this planet’s energy to crystallize into gems.” As she explained, the other teams were getting ready to fight as they were also on their battlefields.
“The first to collect each gem wins.” Rita continued. “When you get the gem, it’s transferred to the planetary pulse!” the screen revealed all the gems coming together. “When the gathered gems fuse into a giant crystal, it can grant ANY wish!”
Twilight and Andros nodded, as the both saw the rules, and diverted the attention back to each other. “So, let the matches begin!” she concluded. “From Equestria....Oddball team warrior, Princess Twilight Sparkle! And from Space colony, KO-35...Galaxy team captain....Andros, the Red Space Power Ranger!”
“Ready?” Rita called out, as she sounded the alarm for the matches to start. “GO!”
And, the matches were on! “Let’s Rocket!” Andros shouted, as he morphed into his Ranger form.
Twilight just ran up, as they both ran to an area inside the battlefield. “Sorry, but I’m going first!” Andros said, as he got out his weapon! “Spiral Saber! Slash attack!” He called out, as he prepared to slash her.
However, Twilight dodged him, as he jumped up and effectively charged up her horn to fire at him. “Missed!” She called out, as her horn fired an array of beam, which Andros tried to deflect.
He readied his weapon again. “Alright, that’s it!” He called out. “I’ll deal with you by force!” He charged at her.
Elsewhere, at a rock quarry, The Legendary Team (Galaxy Pink, Zeo Ranger 2, Change Pegasus, Goggle Black, and Zeo Ranger 1) were taking on the Wrestling Team (Dino Charge Aqua & Gray, Zyuoh Elephant, Zyuoh Lion, & Oushi Black). Change Pegasus dodged Dino Charge Aqua’s Ankylo Hammer, as he swung it at him. However, after a few dodges, his hammer struck him down.
Zeo Ranger 2 was going at it with Zyuoh Lion, who had just powered up his claws. As Zeo Yellow threw a number of kicks repeatedly at him, Zyuoh Lion almost fell down. However, he wouldn’t give up yet.
Goggle Black and Zyuoh Elephant were duking it out with both throwing punches and kicks that both dodged. Finally, Zyuoh Elephant knocked Goggle Black down, but he wouldn’t give up yet, as he got back up for more.
Also at a urban city, the Cool Team (Time Force Blue, Mystic Force Yellow, In Space Yellow, Yellow Squadron Ranger, and Overdrive Black were facing off with the Space Team (Space Pink, Lost Galaxy Red, Change Phoenix, Pink Flash and Power Silver). Galaxy Red and Time force Blue were clashing it out with swords, and neither could get to the other’s defences.
Time Force Blue got out his Chrono Saber, and swung it, while Galaxy Red clashed with his flame attack. This sent the two back by their own attacks.
Prism Pink was dealing with Squadron Yellow as Pink tried to kick him, but he tried to throw her down. Eventually, Prism Pink evaded him and jumped, delivering a kick to Squadron Yellow, who got back up quickly and was ready to continue.
At a underground parking lot, The Red Wild Force Ranger was dealing it with Dino Charge Black, as he used his chopper weapon to strike at him. Wild Force Red punched him down, while Dino Charge Black got back up, and tried to blast him, but the red Ranger pummeled him down safely.
Back at Battlefield 1, Andros used Battle mode on his Spiral Saber and fired at her while Twilight ducked all of his blasts. He was about to do his power play on his enemy, when Twilight flew to him and blindly fired a myriad of blasts at him. The two then grabbed each other, and struggled. “You’re not bad!” Twilight told him.
“Neither are you!” Andros grunted. “I have one wish great than anyone else!”
The two traded blasts, which ultimately sent them back a total of 20 feet due to how powerful the blasts are. Twilight got back up. “And, what wish is that?” She asked him.
Andros got back up, and readied his weapon towards her. “World peace.” He said.
Twilight cocked her head in total confusion. “What?!” She asked, as she powered down her horn, and walked slowly to him. “Hey, hey! Hold on! Please sit. Let’s talk this down for a moment.”
“Eh?!” Andros asked, as he demorphed. “Okay.” He sat down, as Twilight followed suit.
“You really wish for world peace?” Twilight asked, unsure about all this.
“Pretty much.” Andros replied. “My entire team wants that wish.”
Twilight pondered for a moment, and realized something. “I see.” She said. “Well, there’s one thing...we all want that. But, we just don’t say it.”
“Huh?” Andros asked in confusion.
“Don’t you understand?” Twilight asked. “World peace isn’t something just one person or being can give. It’s something that everyone else has to work to achieve.”
“I understand.” Andros said, after thinking about it. “So what’s your wish?”
Twilight sighed. “My wish...” she said. “...is to try to restore my world. After what happened to it, at least.”
“What did happen to your world?” Andros asked curiously.
She sniffled. “My world was destroyed by Emperor Marvo a while ago.” She sadly said. “And, I’m pretty sure that also goes for my friends.” A tear trickled down her face. “I wanted my world restored so I could see my friends again.”
Andros smiled. “Well, at least I now know what this outcome should be.” He said, as he rose up. “I have a feeling that you’re the one who should win, instead of me.”
Twilight’s ears perked up. “Really?” She asked.
“You have my support.” Andros said, as he nodded.
“Of course.” Twilight complied. “And, I’ll continue fighting for peace as well.”
“It’s a promise then!” Andros said, as he shown her to the Crystal. Twilight nodded, and took it with her wing.
“Thanks.” She said, smiling. She saw Andros give her the thumbs up, as he vanished. Twilight smiled, as she looked back to that area, and then at the stone. She had great plans for what would happen if she won the battle. So far, her battle was won. But, that was only the beginning as the future of this battle would be decided.
Ash Ketchum had arrived to an outdoor area outside a warehouse, Pokeball in hand. He was ready to strike at his new opponents, as he tapped the ground. “All right!” He said. “So, where’s my opponents?” He asked.
He quickly got his answer when Preston (Ninja Steel Blue) and Hammy (Chameleon Green) arrived to him morphed, as they posed before him. Ash smiled, as he whipped out his Pokémon. “Well, so you’re going to be taking me on?” He asked, as they just gave inaudible growls at him. “Let the game begin!” He said as he whipped out his first Pokéball.
“Stealth of the Ninja! Ninja Steel Blue!” Preston announced.
“Shinobi Star! Chameleon Green!” Hammy announced.
“Well, looks like, you two are looking at a Pokémon master.” Ash said, as he tossed his ball at them, as the two rangers charged at him. “Greninja! I choose you!” He called out, as Greninja came out, and posed before them.
“Not a problem!” Preston called out, as he got his sword out. “Ninja Steel water slash!” He hit a blue button on his sword, and raised it at him.
Ash decided to take initiative as he called out the first attack. “Greninja, use water Shuriken!” Ash called out, as Greninja conjured a ninja star, and tossed it at Preston, sending him flying to the ground.
“Greninja, use cut now!” Ash commanded, as the Pokémon enveloped itself into a water drill, and charged to the two heroes effectively knocking them down easily.
However, they got back up, and ran towards him. “It’ll take more than that to stop us!” Preston bellowed as they ran towards him, however...Ash threw a punch at Preston, and then at Hammy. They tried to Retaliate, but to no avail, as Ash kept dodging each of their attacks, and continued to punch them. They growled as they tried to go for him, but unfortunately, Ash was super quick as he kept dodging their attacks.
Ash decided it was time to turn up the volume as he called out, “Water Pulse!” Greninja went right behind them, and conjured up a giant water balloon to toss at them, which hit them as soon as they conjured their attacks too late and were splashed down immediately.
They got up. “How is this possible?!” Hammy asked. “You aren’t even using your own bare hands!”
“That’s because you’re dealing with the power of Pokémon!” Ash said, pointing to them.
Preston and Hammy both got up. “Why don’t we show you OUR powers!” Preston said, as he and Hammy prepared their attacks.
“Try me!” Ash said, smugly as he turned to Greninja. “Greninja! Use Double Team!” The Pokémon obeyed as he conjured up clones of himself which circled around the ninjas! Boy, were they in for a world of confusion when they saw the circle swirling around them!
They readied their weapons, but didn’t know which one to strike at since they saw all the clones! “Which one do we fire at?” Hammy asked.
“I don’t know!” Preston said. “Try them all!” They were ready to strike at them, when all the Greninjas jumped and readied their blades at them. “What?!” They both asked.
“Blades!” Ash called out, as all the Greninjas conjured their blades and divebombed both rangers. Their attacks greatly overwhelmed them, as they fell to the ground almost instantly, as if they made short work of them.
“We lost to a ninja Pokémon?!” Hammy said in exasperation.
“Not fair!” Preston said, as they both fell and exploded, as Greninja landed and posed bravely!
“All right!” Ash said triumphantly, as he pumped his fist in the sky. He and his Pokémon had easily beaten them! He got out his ball. “Greninja...return!” The ball immediately sucked up the Pokémon back into the ball, as Ash smiled at the crater, which his two opponents once were. He put his Pokeball in his pocket as he walked away, smiling. He didn’t even look back once!
At Battlefield 3...which was indeed a race track, which was where Mikey and Shoutmon would be dealing with their next team opponents...the two arrived to the pit crew immediately, and looked around for their opponents. So far, they were nowhere to be found yet.
“Are you sure, they said here?” Shoutmon asked, confused.
“Trust me...” Mikey said. “I’m pretty sure it was here. Would they send us here if they weren’t going to face our opponents?”
Shoutmon thought for a moment. “You may have a point, Mikey.” He said as they walked towards the big race track. “Though, I’m not sure where they are right now.”
Mikey was about to say the same thing too, when suddenly they heard the revving up of car engines. They both turned to see Red Lightning and the Eagle Racer starting their engines. They gasped as they saw the cars coming RIGHT towards them! “Hit the deck!” Mikey called out, as they evaded the cars and landed on the grass. They got up, as they cars were turning around to face them. “What are you trying to do?!” He erupted. “Kill us?!”
The two cars went right towards them again, as they braced for impact. But to their surprise, they stopped, and the doors opened as both TJ (Red Turbo Ranger) and Scott Truman (RPM Ranger red) exited the cars. “Nope.” TJ answered. “We’re here to fight you!” He got out his key and prepared to enter it into his morpher.
“So, better wait till the light turns green!” Scott said, as his morpher opened and he prepared to put his engine cell in it.
“So, we’re dealing with race car drivers, huh?” Mikey said smugly. “Well, you’re dealing with a master of Digital madness!”
“Yeah!” Shoutmon agreed. “So, I say, step out of your freeway, buster!”
The two looked at each other and nodded. “Well, then let’s start this race!” TJ said as they prepared to morph. “Shift Into Turbo!”
“RPM...GET IN GEAR!” Scott shouted, as they both morphed into their ranger forms!
“Ready...set...” They both said, as they got ready to run towards them, not knowing that their opponents were ready too.
“GO!” All 4 shouted as they rushed towards each other. And, the race fight was on! Mikey decided to take it up a notch already as he got out his digidex.
“Shoutmon! Evolve now!” Mikey called out, as Shoutmon jumped up, and evolved into his super form quickly.
“Omega Shoutmon is ready!” Shoutmon announced as he landed right in front of the race heroes.
Scott just scoffed. “You think one on two will make a difference?” He asked.
“As a matter of fact, I do!” Shoutmon said as he jumped up, and started to deliver a punch.
Scott got his weapon of choice out, and jumped up. “Street Saber strike!” He called out, as he immediately slashed him down the ground.
“Shoutmon, no!” Mikey said in shock, as he immediately fell down.
“Don’t count me out, yet!” He said as he got back up, and jumped to deliver another punch. Only at that moment, TJ got out his two sidearms and combined them. He aimed at Shoutmon, who was coming right for him.
“Auto blaster Defender!” TJ called out, as he fired at Shoutmon, which sent him down to the ground again. Mikey only gasped at that.
“Now to finish him off!” TJ said, as he was ready to fire again! “Final strike!” He shouted.
“Stop!” Scott stopped him. “You know Digimon can actually feel pain and emotions, right?” TJ grunted.
“I don’t care, Scott!” He said, gruffly. “I want to destroy that creep!” He aimed it at him again. “Ready...aim...”
However, he never got the chance as Shoutmon threw a punch, immediately blocking the attack, and sending him down. “No way!” TJ said in major shock. “How did he even block my attack?!”
Mikey only smiled. “You forget who or what you’re dealing with!” He said, as he turned to Shoutmon. “Finish then, Shoutmon!” Shoutmon nodded as he ran towards them with incredible speed!
“Alright!” Scott said, as he and TJ got ready to pump up their own volume! “Let’s take care of him OUR way!” Scott got his Nitro Blaster and combined with his Rail Saber. “ENGINE CELLS...ACTIVATE!” He said, as he inserted his cell chips inside them.
“Autoblaster Defender!” TJ said, as he aimed his blaster at him.
“Rail Blaster!” Scott said, as he aimed his blaster at him. They both fired at the Digimon until there was smoke in its place. However, when the smoke cleared, Shoutmon was still standing, as he ran up to them, and fired at them, wearing them greatly, as they tumbled on the floor.
When they got back up, they were shocked at his immense strength. “What?!” TJ asked. “How come you’re not dead yet?”
“Probably, because I’m a super Digimon!” Shoutmon stated to them. “It worked out pretty good for a first try to attack you! Either that, or your blasters totally blow!”
The two racer heroes growled at that comment and got ready to charge at him. “We’ll kill you!” Scott shouted, as they ran towards him, swords at the ready.
“Street Saber Strike!” Scott shouted.
“Turbo Lightning sword!” TJ shouted, as they swung their swords at him.
Shoutmon was ready for the finals blow as he jumped up. “Omega power!” He called out, as he conjured up a golden energy beam and aimed it at them. Then, he fired at them, instantly overpowering their attacks, and sending them tumbling to the ground.
They were shorting out, as they got back up, and gave them the thumbs up. “You win!” TJ said in defeat.
“Checker Flag!” Scott said, as he got up, and then fell down with TJ, as they exploded as they were no more.
“Alright!” Mikey said in victory. “We won!” He jumped up. “Gimme five, Shoutmon!”
Shoutmon quickly depowered into his original form, as they both did a hi-five in victory! “Yeah!” They both shouted, as they landed on the race track and did a thumbs up. “We win!” They both said, as they did a Carranger pose and ran towards the finish line, as they had won easily. It wasn’t that easy...but, it was right amount of effort they needed to win!
Their match was done! Now, on with the next match!
At a moonlit beach on the docks...Battlefield #4, Sakura arrived at the dock. She looked around for her opponents to arrive. She then looked to the middle, and saw her opponents, Hunter (Crimson Thunder Ranger), Karone (Lost Galaxy Pink) & Kotaro Sakuma (Koguma Sky Blue) unmorphed. They smiled smugly at her.
Sakura got her game face on, as she walked towards them. “So, I’m facing a bunch of Power Rangers and Super Sentai warriors?” She asked. “The giant team, seriously?! You’re all of average human height.”
“In case you had any idea of who the best fighter we’re facing is...” Hunter started, as his next words would shock her to the very bone. “A Cardcaptor? Seriously?! You obviously can’t handle your own in a fight!”
Sakura gasped, and got her staff ready. “How dare you!!” She exclaimed. “I’m not as defenceless as you think I am! You want to deal with me? Then deal!” She charged towards her.
“I thought you’d never ask.” Hunter said, as he turned to his teammates. “Let’s morph!”
“Right!” They both nodded as they readied their Morphers.
“Mawslide!” Kotaro said, as he flicked his Kyutama to the left, and inserted it into his blaster. Koguma Kyutama! Say the change!
“Star Change!” He called out, as he morphed into his suited form.
“Go Galactic!” Karone said, as she turned her dial to the pink arrow, and morphed into her form.
“Thunder Storm...Ranger Form!” Hunter said, as he clicked his morpher and morphed as well. Now, they were ready to go at it with her.
“Galaxy Pink!” Karone shouted.
“Crimson Thunder Power!” Hunter shouted.
“Big Star! Koguma Sky Blue!” Kotaro said, as all three posed.
The fight was on! Sakura started this off with dodging Kotaro’s punches, and threw some of her own, punching him in the gut, but to her surprise, he was super strong! Nevertheless, he kept covering his arms as she punched him forward.
She started to throw a punch at him again, but Karon caught her by the leg, and threw her up. “Quasar Saber!” She called out, as she used her weapon to slash her down! She hit the ground hard, struggling to get up.
She then saw a giant foot, and she saw Hunter about to palm her down. She gasped as she saw that, and knew she had to retaliate! “Gimme a high five, Sakura!” Hunter said, preparing to flatten her. Sakura gasped, and without hesitating, she rolled out of the way, and got back up, ready with her staff again.
However, Kotaro threw a mighty punch at her, decking her against the bridge frame. The three giant warriors landed and laughed at her evilly. “You really think you’re that powerful to stand against us?” Hunter asked.
“Well, think again!” Karone said. “No one is tough enough for the power rangers!” She got her Saber out.
“Let’s finish this!” Kotaro said to Hunter as he nodded.
He got out his firearm, as Sakura gasped. She was about to meet her end! She couldn’t let them win like this! She had to stop them! She growled, as tears trickled down her face! Insulting her, after striking her...that was the worst form of victory! This Cardcaptor would not allow it! She slowly got up, and readied her staff.
“Crimson Blaster!” Hunter said, aiming it at her, about to pull the trigger. But, to their surprise, she jumped up and evaded the blasts, kicking them down to the ground firmly.
“What?!” They all said, as they fell down, and Sakura landed.
“You may be a punch of super powered teens...” Sakura stated to them. “But, I am a Cardcaptor! And Cardcaptors always win!” She swung her staff at them, only for Karone to block it! She would not give up that easily, as her staff and Karone’s quasar Saber clashed. Neither could get to the other!
However, Kotaro quickly rammed into her from behind. “Take that!” He shouted, as she was flipped over because of his bull run! She landed on her back, and saw Kotaro about to step on her. She quickly got back up, and readied her staff again.
Hunter got his staff ready as well. “Thunder staff! Mega power!” He called out, as his staff grew to a giant stick! Sakura gasped, as she turned heel and ran from him as he chased her. She was already going out of bounds in this battlefield, but it was about to get harder for her, as Hunter kicked her down to a playground-like obstacle wall. Hunter was about to punch her again, but she dodged it, as he missed.
Sakura knew she needed to call on one of her stronger cards to take down these rangers. She approached him. “Alright! I didn’t want to do this...but, you leave me no choice!” She said, as she got out a card. “Power card!” She shouted, as she threw it! “Grant your powers to this wand!” She twirled her staff until it glowed bright pink, and she hit the card forcefully. “Power up!” She was now enveloped in a pink aura, as she raised her weapon at him.
“Huh? What?!” Hunter asked, as Sakura immediately struck it at him, taking him down easily as a crater took his place.
She turned to see Karone running towards her. “What?” She said in shock as the Quesar Saber was ready to finish her. She raised her staff again towards Karone, and struck her down with a hard Klonk. She was frozen in motion as she was struck, which confused Sakura. Then, slowly but surely, she fell down into dust.
She diverted her attention to Kotaro. “Now for you!” She shouted, as she ran towards him.
“Uh oh!” Kotaro said in shock. “I’ve gotta act fast.” He got out a cyan skill Kyutama and put it in his morpher. Ooguma Kyutama! Quickly, he grew a few giant feet in size, transforming into Ooguma Sky Blue!
Sakura jumped up, from a hill, and immediately concentrated all her power into her staff for her finishing move. “Fight card!” She called out, she raised it, and immediately slashed him with it, as it easily punctured him. The staff sliced through him, as he easily exploded...with chunks of his Kyutama leaving the battlefield! She landed bravely, and happy that her match was won!
“Aw yeah!” Sakura shouted in victory as her match was won, and she was victorious! She looked at the moon, which shown brightly in her victory. Smiling, she raised her staff, and lowered it happily, as she left her battlefield to return to the meeting place her her oddball team!
There was now one last match in Round #1, and someone was going to do it...without having to give up!
On Battlefield #5, which was a canyon, Shantae...the half genie hero arrived on the ground, right by the high cliffs, and posed bravely. Her opponents were near, but luckily...she was ready to face them! Thankfully, she didn’t have to wait long, as her opponents arrived. Riley (Dino Charge Green) & Trent (Dino Thunder White) both arrived already morphed, and posed before her.
“So, you two are my pursuers!” Shantae said, as she posed.
“So, the half genie runt!” Trent said, pointing his sword at her. “Fancy seeing you here!”
“That’s some competitive talk, coming from a Power Ranger, such as yourself!” Shantae said, pointing to both rangers. “I know what you guys are up to, and it won’t work!”
“Oh my!” Riley joked. “You think you have all the answers, don’t you? Well, think what you might!”
“You won’t be able to interfere with our plans for that wish!” Trent said, as he took one step closer.
“So, show us what you’ve got!” Riley said, as he followed suit with Trent.
Shantae’s rage started to boil up, as she was ready to take two members of the Jurassic team on! “It’s on!” She said, as she started to wipe the ground with her foot. Then, she ran towards the rangers, ready to give it her all!
Both rangers charged too, as they were also ready! “Let’s go!” Riley said, as they broke out their weapons.
The fight had begun with Shantae firing fire balls at them, but that did nothing, as they zipped past those easily. Riley got out his morpher, and fired it at her, as she jumped up behind them. She then conjured up a fire ball, and hurled it to them, knocking them down easily.
“Oh man! This genie burns!” Riley said in a little pain!
“We’ll just have to send it back at her!” Trent said, as they got their weapons ready! “Drago Sword!” He called out, as he tossed his two sword like Shurikens at her to which she dodged them quickly.
“Raptor slasher!” Riley said, as he fired at her with his weapon, but she dodged it by swiftly walking on rocks as if it were child’s play! She then delivered a whipping, with her hair, knocking their weapons out of their hands easily.
They just growled, as Shantae jumped up, and kicked them both in the guts, sending them back down. “She just doesn’t know WHEN to give up!” Trent said, angrily.
“We’ll just have to pump it up!” Riley said as they both ran towards her, as she landed.
“Super Dino Mode!” Trent said, as his suit was spiked up with super spikes.
“Dino Steel...armor on!” Riley said, as he slid his morpher on his arm, giving him some arm armor, as they were ready for round 2!
Trent swing his sword to conjure up some arrows, aiming them at the genie. “Fire!” He said, as they shot towards her.
“Oh my gosh!” Shantae said, as she jumped up and evaded all of the arrows.
Trent was surprised that she managed to evade his attack quickly, all on her own. “That’s not possible!” Trent said in shock.
“I’ll take care of her!” Riley said, as he got out his Saber. “Dino charger ready!” He clicked it into his weapon, and ran up to her. But, to his surprise, she jumped up, and kicked him down.
“Dammit!” He said in rage. “Why won’t you stand still?!”
“Let me try again!” Trent said to his teammate, as he dashed towards her, swiftly moving faster than the speed of light. However, Shantae knew his moves, and without warning...swiftly dodged them, as if there was no tomorrow!
“What?!” Trent said, as he saw her move. He growled. “Get back here!” He tried to get her, but she kept evading his moves. “There’s nowhere to run, Genie! And nowhere to hide!” He prepared to slash an X on her chest. “Accept this special attack!”
“Nah!” The genies said, smugly before taking his sword, and slashing a X on HIS chest. “You take it!” She landed swiftly, and laid the sword down gallantly, as Trent took an explosion to the chest! He fell down in defeat.
“Too easy.” Shantae said smugly, as she turned to the rangers, and smirked.
“All right!” Riley said, as he walked up to her. “What’s the deal?! You’re repeatedly dodging our attacks, as if they do no damage! Shouldn’t you be wiped out, right now?!”
“You forgot that I am a half genie!” Shantae reminded them. “And, I’m not here to defeat you!”
“Then, what ARE you here for?!” Trent asked in exasperation and rage.
She just giggled. “What I’m here for is for me to know, and you to NOT know.” She said to them, as she smirked. “All I know is that there are 2 rangers too many, and I’m here to change that!”
“Then, go for it!” Riley angrily shouted.
“You got it!” Shantae said, as she got ready to run towards them to strike.
They met, but Shantae kicked Riley in the gut, and then grabbed Trent by the arm, and took his sword, and slashed him down again. Riley ran up to her, with his Saber in hand, but it was knocked out by her hair, and she jumped up kicked him down. The two Jurassic rangers got back up, and ran towards her but she swiftly punched, and slashed them down easily.
Shantae crossed her arms, smugly. “That should do it!” She joked.
They just growled in mere frustration. “You honestly think you’re just gonna walk away like that?!” Riley asked.
“Not gonna happen!” Trent said, as he got out a Thundermax Laser, and fired it at her. However, she conjured up a shield, and sent the blasts back to them, knocking them down again!
“No!” They shouted in horror. Shantae used her hair to whip them up from the ground, and into the air, where they were in suspended animation for a few seconds before falling down, hitting the ground hard again!
Shantae landed, and giggled. “Nice flight?” She asked them.
Trent clenched his fist, as he got up. “She’s gonna pay for that!” He said in rage as he ran towards her. However, she kicked him the gut, sending him back to the ground again. Riley tried to throw a few punches, but she threw him off to the side, just like she did with Trent.
“I thought the Power Rangers were supposed to be stronger!” She joked. “Did you even train hard enough for your battle?” She walked closer towards them. “Nothing can beat a half-genie hero!”
The two rangers got their blasters out, and started shooting at her, but they had zero effect as she kept coming closer to them. They then jumped up towards her, only for her to grab them hard by the arms, and she spun them around until they were dizzy enough to be tossed again. They hit the ground, feeling delirious and lopsided after that battle, and they both demorphed.
“Okay...that wasn’t what I had in mind!” Trent told his teammate.
“I hear you, Trent!” Riley said, nodding. “Looks like it’s game over.” They tried to get up, but unfortunately, they didn’t have enough strength to continue fighting back, and they fell unconscious to the ground.
Shantae was excited to see that her opponents fell, and she pumped her fist in victory. “All clear!” She said in triumph. She had won her battle, fair and square! Sure the Jurassic team was tough. But, she was tougher! She turned heal, and walked away from the knocked out rangers, and teleported in a cloud of smoke away, back to her area where her other teammates were waiting.
Round #1 for each of the oddball team warriors was over for them. Now, things were about to start being challenging! It was time to get set for the next block of matches!
Shantae had made it back to the room where her oddball teammates were, and stretched out in victory, happy that she had defeated her opponents. She saw her teammates going through a round of training, with Ash and Mikey doing a little karate, Twilight doing a little push-ups and Sakura doing shadow boxing.
The genie smiled. “So, by the looks of it, I’d say we won our first matches. Huh?” She asked.
“Oh, you bet!” Ash said as Mikey was kicking the shield mittens that he had on his hands. “I taught Ninja Steel Blue and Chameleon Green a thing or two with Greninja, and they were on the ropes.”
Mikey halted on his punches, and turned attention to Shantae. “Shoutmon, and I took care of RPM and Turbo Red Rangers!” He said excitedly.
“Yeah, and they were left like roadkill!” Shoutmon sarcastically added, as Mikey giggled, petting him.
“Sakura?” She asked.
“Handling the Giant team was tough!” She said, as she threw a few punches to the shadows, before she took her blindfold off. “But, I eventually beat them with my power cards.”
“And, Twilight?” She asked the alicorn.
Twilight refrained from her push ups and turned to her. “Well, it wasn’t easy...” she explained. “But Andros and I took care of the battle really well. The weird thing is we didn’t make the other side explode.”
“WHAT?!” Everyone asked in complete shock and surprise.
“So, how did you win your battle then?” Ash asked.
“Well, we talked about our wishes, about how I wanted my dimension restored, and how Andros wanted World peace.” Twilight explained. “I told him that world piece can’t be achieved through just one person. It has to be achieved through everyone. So, he decided that I should win, and we won on a draw.”
“Wow!” Shantae said in surprise and astonishment. “That was pretty...unusual for your battles.”
“Turns out the magic of Friendship can prove well at some times, like you said.” Sakura said in realization.
“Yep.” Twilight confirmed. “It sure can!” She smiled in relief.
“Man, I wish that I was as smart as you, Twilight.” Mikey said, smirking, as he pointed to her. “This pony can use her head! She used it to grow hair on it!”
Twilight just giggled. “You’re on!” She said, as she and Mikey both threw soft punches. Neither could get to the other. Sakura, Ash, and Shantae all joined in and so far, it was pretty good for sparring training, as they didn’t hurt each other, but also had a good time, and during that time, Twilight could feel the bond she had made with her friends grow a little stronger each time they fought together. She actually felt that this new friendship could grow stronger than ever, since they had helped save each other from Void Knight.
Finally, Shantae easily knocked her teammates down non-violently, as she smirked. “Game, set and match!” She said, happily.
"You know something, Shantae?” Twilight asked, as the genie cocked her head. “Ever since you guys had saved me from Void Knight’s clutches, I didn’t think that we’d be well-known acquaintances. But, after we got chosen and after our fights, I have a feeling that maybe our bond has grown stronger, and that we have become good friends.”
“Y’know, I kinda think that too.” Shantae agreed. “With us saving you and all, and sharing similar interests, it’s no wonder why we both got chosen.” She patted her on the head. “I have a feeling that our friendship will grow stronger, Twilight.” The pony blushed, and smiled.
At that moment, the screen came into view, as they all looked up and saw all the first round matches settled. “Well, it seems that everyone else has completed their first round matches as well.” Ash said, smiling.
“And, from what Shantae and I saw, the Curveball Team’s match was pretty brutal.” Sakura said, as Shantae nodded, as they both saw the brutal victory of the curveball team’s match.
“Now, that was awesome!” Ash said, as he jumped in agreement.
“Aw yeah!” Mikey agreed as well.
“Hey, what about that purple Ranger in that fight?” Shoutmon asked, confused.
Everyone was confused. “Purple Ranger?” Sakura asked. “There is no purple Ranger.”
“There is now!” Shoutmon said, pointing at the screen! “Look!” They all watched the screen, and saw Void Knight beating the curveball team, easily with his own sword.
“Oh, please! I was hoping I’d find someone who’d put up more of a fight that this!” Void Knight sneered on the screen as he left the wreckage of his assault.
“Void Knight?!” The team asked in unison and in shock.
“What’s he doing here?” Mikey asked in surprise.
“Why is he participating???” Ash asked.
“What the heck?” Sakura said. “Then this is no time to be making wishes, right now!”
“I was so surprised to hear that too!” A voice said. They turned to see Rita already in the room with them, as they jumped back in shock. “Sorry, but it seems that Sakura is right...” she said. “Is this true, Princess Twilight?” The others looked at her, as she nervously looked at the game hostess.
“Yes...” she weakly answered.
“Say no more.” She said. “I’ll take care of this right away!” She them disappeared from the room almost quickly!
“Alright!” Shantae said. “Then, we should have no trouble with the second round of our matches!”
“You got it!” Mikey said, as they gave a high five.
Just then, an announcement came in the screen. “Next...the matches for round 2!” she announced, as everyone was astonished by how she appeared suddenly on the screen.
“When did she...?” Ash started to ask.
“Wow!” Sakura squealed happily. “It’s like magic!”
“Magic?” Twilight asked, as she too thought about how Rita could suddenly appear and reappear at the same time. “I guess so...kinda like mine.” She said. The bracket then shown the two teams on the screen: The Beast Team & The Oddball team! Also glowing was the wrestling team as well.
“Alright!” Ash said. “The second round of matches is about to start!”
“So, what are you waiting for?” Shantae asked her friends. “Let’s get to it!”
“Yeah!” They cheered in excitement, as they all left to go to their respective matches. The second round was about to begin, and Twilight would face a rougher, tougher team than last time. But luckily, she could conquer whatever challenge was tossed at her. Even her new friends as well. However, Void Knight appeared in the tournament as well. No one knew why, but unknown to the oddball team, things would start to get much much worse.
Twilight landed right near an abandoned warehouse, eagerly awaiting her opponents. So far, they had gotten word about Void Knight arriving in the tournament. But, Rita told them that she’d take care of that. So, now Twilight was waiting for the challengers. Three humans arrived towards her...Cole Evans (Wild Force Red), Damon (Lost Galaxy Green), & Kin’ya Samejima (Vul Shark).
Cole spoke up. “It’s time for your second match, huh?” He asked.
“Yeah!” Twilight said, as she nodded.
“May the best warrior win.” Cole said, as he whipped out his morpher.
“It’s time for the matches of the second round to begin!” Rita announced. At that moment, all three rangers morphed into their suits.
“Wild Access!” Cole shouted, as he morphed.
“Go Galactic!” Damon shouted as he morphed.
“Vul Shark!” Kin’ya shouted as he too morphed into his Ranger form.
“Representing the Beast Team...Wild Force Red, Galaxy Green, & Vul Shark from Power Rangers Wild, Lost Galaxy & Vulcan force!” Rita addressed the rangers. “And, representing the Oddball team, Princess Twilight Sparkle!” she addressed the alicorn, who stretched her limbs, prepping herself for her fight.
“Ready...GO!” Rita called out, as the gunshot sounded, and the matches started. The fight had begun as they all ran into the warehouse, and Twilight fired an array of laser beams at her fighters.
“Feel my princess powers from above!” Twilight shouted, as she concentrated her elemental magic in her horn and fired at then, knocking them out. However, the fight wasn’t over. Not by a long shot, as they got up to resume the battle!
“Lion fang!” Cole shouted, as he got out his weapon, and fired a fire blast at her, sending her down! But, that didn’t stop her as she got back up.
“Galaxy Fang!” Damon shouted, as he jumped up, and fired at her with his weapon, knocking her down. He did a parkour jump off the wall and tackled her down, but she mustered her strength to throw him off her.
“Take this!” Kin’ya said, as he ran to her and tried to punch her, using his Shark moves, but she used her arms to block out his attacks. He tried to kick her from the bottom, but she jumped up to avoid it. However, he kicked her down successfully.
Cole and Damon seized this chance, as they rushed towards her, but the pony got out of their way. All 4 warriors were all at a standstill as they were at an impasse. “I may be fighting alone...3 against 1...” Twilight said in rage. “...but, it’s not over till I say it’s over!” She charged up her horn, and fired at the rangers, who jumped back.
However, Kin’ya emerged from the ground, and punched her, and threw her down. She instantly got back up, and got her hooves ready to fight the other two. She threw a few punches at them, but they used their swords to slash her down, sending her into a pile of barrels! She was down and out, as the rangers were ready to do their deed. “Let’s get that gem!” Cole told his teammates, as they nodded, and rushed towards it.
Twilight got up, as they ran towards that gem, and was shocked and furious. “I will not lose!” She said, growling. “I’m here to restore my world! And, I’m going to do it!” She shouted, as she tried to ram through them, as they grabbed her. She ferociously shoved them off her, as her wings turned rainbow powered! “SO TRY AND STOP ME!!!” She jumped up, taking to the air.
Damon jumped up, and the two air demons delivered powerful slashes. But, Twilight zoomed back a few steps, and charged her horn, and fired at him spot on, sending him down and out. She landed, and used her magic to turn into her Crystal form, and charged at Cole who was running like a lion to get to her. But, Twilight fired at him, sending him back. Cole wouldn’t give up easily as he got out his sword weapon. “Falcon Summoner!” He shouted, firing a shot at her, but she put up a shield, and blocked it, and threw a punch, sending him down and out.
She saw Kin’ya rushing towards her, and she got out a pearl to transform herself into a seapony form...her hind quarters becoming a fish end. As he threw his water attacks at her, she used her tail to slap him down. The two traded blow and slap for each other. Finally, Twilight batted him by the side, and used the pearl to fire at him brutally. The blast was much too powerful for him to handle, as he was wiped out!
Twilight reverted back to her original form, and picked up the purple gem, which was right next to another barrel. She took a look at it, and smiled. “One step closer to restoring my world.” She said, quietly to herself as she smiled, and teleported with the gem in hoof to her room.
Her battle was won, and she had braved her element...three of them, actually! The powers of Rainbow, Crystal and Seaquestria easily overpowered the Beast Team, and she was one step closer to getting her wish! The other matches were to continue. She would tell her friends about her victory once their matches were over! Right now, she had to rest as a result of her heroics until next time.
Ash Ketchum wasted no time in arriving to a car junkyard for his match. He got his Pokeball out, and was ready to fight as he saw his opponents, James Navarro (Dino Charge Aqua) & Champ (Oushi Black) already morphed, and they pumped their muscles up.
“So, the Pokémon master has decided to show up?” Champ asked, as he posed.
“We’ll squish you flat like a bug!” James said, as he too posed.
“I was hoping you’d say that!” Ash said, as he tossed his Pokeball towards them, “Because Hawlucha’s here to pump...” he clapped his hands. “You up!” Said Pokémon emerged from his ball, and posed, ready for action.
“Weak line, Mucha Lucha!” Champ sneered, as they rushed towards him. “Let’s hit the real action!”
Ash smirked. “I thought you’d never ask.” He said, as he turned to his Pokémon. “Hawlucha! Use karate chop!” The Pokémon nodded, as he jumped up.
“Ankylo Hammer!” James said, as a transparent hammer weapon materialized on his fist. Once there, he swung it at the Pokémon. However, Hawlucha took notice and dodged it. And each time the hammer was swung, he flew up, and dodged it.
“I’ll assist you!” Champ said, as he used his arms to swing at him. But, he dodged the Ranger’s attacks easily.
Ash watched the fight, and smiled. “So, muscle on muscle, huh?” He asked. “Well, time to even it out!”
“Ankylo Hammer Pound!” James shouted, as he swung the hammer at the Pokémon to finish him off.
“Stay right where you are!” Ash told Hawlucha, as the Pokémon easily broke through the hammer easily, shocking the wrestling warriors.
“Let me handle this!” Champ said, as he rushed towards him, his arms raised at him.
Hawlucha wanted to fight back, but Ash had a plan! “Not yet!” He told him, as Champ struck at him, only for the bird’s hot body to knock him back hard.
“Dino Charge Blade!” James said, as he got out his weapon, and inserted a Dino charger. Quickly, he raised it at the Pokémon!
“Hang in there!” Ash said, as James immediately struck him down, causing a dirt explosion. However, the Pokémon wasn’t down and out! He was still standing, and he was getting stronger! “Hawlucha takes an opponent’s attacks, and just keep on getting stronger!” Ash told them. “You’d better watch out, James!”
“As you wish!” James said, as he clenched his fist. “Ankylo Hammer!” His hammer materialized on his arm, and he raised it to finish him off!
However, Ash was ready as he told him. “Okay, Hawlucha! GO!” The Pokémon nodded, as he jumped up and grabbed the hammer, flinging it back to his opponent, and sending James Down to the ground.
“Okay! Flying press!” Ash instructed, as the bird spread out his wings, and swooped down at the rangers, pressing them down easily, as a huge explosion took place! The dust settled to reveal the rangers, still morphed and defeated. Hawlucha arrived to Ash and posed in victory!
“Alright, Hawlucha!” Ash said excitedly as his Pokémon won!
“Pika!” Pikachu piped up as well. They had easily won their fight, and they could advance to the next round. However, Void Knight was searching for the greatest warrior. But, that wouldn’t stop them as they had their friendship to take on...even if they had a few obstacles on their side.
At a Samurai Dojo, Cam (Green Samurai Ninja Storm), & Mike (Green Samurai) arrived, morphed and ready to fight their opponent, Mikey...who was already arriving with Shoutmon as they arrived before them. “Are you sure they said here?” Mike asked.
“Chill.” Cam told him. “We have to do this right.”
“With you, Cam.” Mike said, just as Mikey got out his Digidex machine out.
“So...two green power rangers?” Mikey asked, smugly. “And, they’re ninjas? This is going to be interesting!”
“You might want to show some appreciation, Mikey!” Cam said, as he got out his Saber.
“Not likely.” Mikey said, as he turned to his partner, who nodded. “Alright! Let’s do this!”
“Right!” Shoutmon nodded, as they ran towards them.
“If you insist.” Mike said, as he got out his forest spear. “Let’s get them!” Cam nodded, as they ran towards the two...starting off their match.
Shoutmon threw a few punches towards both green ninjas with his claws, which clashed with their swords. “You won’t take us that easily!” He said, as he delivered a kick towards Mike.
“Take this!” Cam said, as he used his Saber to swipe him down to the ground. “Samurai Saber...ready!” He slashed him down, making the Digimon groan in pain.
“Shoutmon!” Mikey called out in shock, as his friend got beaten down. He them growled with rage. “Alright. Now, you’ve had it!” He ran over to the green rangers and punched them both down with his bare fists! “Over here!” He signaled his creature to come over here, which he did, as the green ninjas struggled to get up. “Shout quake!” He shouted, as Shoutmon emitted a high pitched screen, which made them hold their helmets in agony. Finally, he struck them down with his claws sending them down and out!
“Alright!” They both said, as they high fived each other in victory. Only at that moment, they both got up and growled, shaking their fists at them.
“You think you’ve won?!” Mike asked in rage.
“We’ve only begun to get dirty!” Cam said, as he grabbed his morpher. “Samurai Star Chopper!” He called out, as his green copter Zord arrived on the scene.
“Bear Folding Zord!” Mike said, as he got out a cube, and wrote a symbol on it, making his suit get armored up. “Mega Mode power!”
“Samurai Star Megazord!” Can said, as his Zord changed to humanoid mode. Mikey, and Shoutmon looked up and were shocked. Now, they were really in for a world of trouble!
“What the?! You grew huge!” Mikey said in shock.
“We can pump up the volume! Can’t we, Mikey?” Shoutmon asked him bravely, as if he wasn’t afraid of anything!
“You got it!” Mikey said, as he got out his digidex and dialled a few buttons. “Let’s even out the odds!” Shoutmon nodded, as he jumped up and posed wildly.
“Shoutmon! Balistamon! Dorullamon!” Mikey called out, as the other two creatures arrived by Shoutmon’s side. “Digi Fuse!” He called out, as they instantly combined and changed shape to form a megazord like creature, posing before them! “SHOUTMON X3!” They shouted, introducing themselves to the green Zords.
“Oh, kitty’s got claws!” Mike said, jokingly.
“Let’s declaw him!” Cam said, as they thrusted their zords forward.
Mikey knew it was time to fight, as Shoutmon X3 ran towards them. They started off this fight by jumping up, and throwing a double punch move, as both zords tried to block it with their shield-like weapons. However, Shoutmon X3 was trumping over their moves.
“X4 Slasher!” Shoutmon X3 called out, as their weapon arrived, and it slashed both zords to the ground. Neither Zord could handle much more of this.
“Alright! Let’s finish this!” Shoutmon said from inside his battle mode, as the zords got back up in agony. “X4 SUPER SLASH!” They shouted, as they raised the slasher high up at them.
“Uh oh!” Both rangers called out, as they saw the weapon high above them!
“Yah!” Shoutmon X3 called out, as they delivered a powerful slash, sending both zords down to the ground, and they exploded easily, taking the rangers along with it!
“Alright!” Mikey said, as he jumped up in victory.
“Zords extinct!” Shoutmon X3 shouted in victory, as it posed bravely. They had won their battle, and could now continue to the next match! So far, they boys were done! Now, it was the girl’s turns to conclude their matches before their third rounds!
Sakura and Kero both arrived at their battlefield...a jungle like forest, while their opponents were waiting for them! They stopped and saw Maddie (Mystic Force Blue) & Rose (Operation Overdrive Pink) already morphed and ready to duel.
Sakura smiled, and posed ready to fight. “You ready to deal with us?” She asked. “Then, deal!” She started to run up towards them, while Kero was shaking.
“Careful, Sakura!” He warned her nervously. “They’re really powerful!” But Sakura ran out to them, and threw a few punches, making them stagger back. Rose wiped off the ‘damage’ from her helmet and she clenched her fist, as she and Maddie both nodded and ran up to her.
Sakura knew it was time to get serious, as she got out a card, and unleashed her staff. “Windy! Release and dispel!” She shouted, as she hit the card, making wind shoot right at them. It did get them, but Maddie and Rose used their arms to block out the attacks. Maddie just growled. Sakura gasped.
“Use an attack card, Sakura! Quickly!” Kero warned her.
Sakura nodded, as she got out another attack card, and her staff again. “Water!” She shouted. The attack went straight to the two divas. But, Maddie retaliated by getting out her own staff, and unleashed a wave of water and sent it right towards Sakura! The Cardcaptor herself was shocked that her opponents used an attack much similar to hers.
“Drive defender!” Rose shouted, as she aimed a blaster at Sakura, who dodged it quickly.
“Sakura...concentrate on your powers!” Kero shouted. “Hurry!” Sakura nodded, as she closed her eyes and slowly lifted her staff. The other two were confused as to what she was going to do. They got their answer when Sakura opened her eyes and thrust her staff down.
“Take this!” She said, as it struck the drown, creating a land typhoon making the two fall to the ground easily. She smiled, knowing that they were easily defeated.
“Great Job, Sakura!” Kero said happily. “We did it!”
“I knew we could!” Sakura agreed, as she looked at the ground, and smiled. Her round was over. One round was left to complete the other round of matches.
Back at Planet Nemesis, Rita was sitting on her throne, waiting for the matches to wrap up. She saw the rangers gathering up in the sphere quickly then she thought. She smiled. Just then, she heard a clanking sound that did not go unnoticed, as she got up and noticed Void Knight approaching her. “You!” He said to her. “Did you summon me?” He held out a ticket in his hand.
“Void Knight?” Rita asked, as she got up and growled. “You’re already causing problems just by running amok, and without an invitation! What makes you think you want to participate!?”
“You mean this?” He said, as he showed her his ticket. Rita was shocked.
“Where did you get that?” She asked.
“That is none of your concern!” Void Knight said. “I’ve been sent here by Emperor Marvo to participate! Now, enter me in!”
“Okay, okay!” Rita said, getting nervous. “Don’t get yourself in a tizzy!” She took the ticket, and nodded, as Void Knight slowly walked away. He had now entered the tournament! He was now a participant. Now, the oddball team really was in trouble, since they had their longtime opponent in this battle! Who knows what moves or punches he might pull?
Shantae arrived at a beach for her newest fight, and stopped when she saw her opponents she would face. Xander (Mystic Force Green) & Katie (Time Force Yellow). She smiled. “So, I’m facing a few muscle bound rangers?” She asked. “This should be interesting. “Where even are your muscles?”
Xander just smiled. “It looks like you don’t know the first things about muscle bound opponents!” He joked.
Shantae just gasped. “That wasn’t very nice of you!” She said in rage.
“I’m just joking!” He said, as he got out his morpher. “Now, let’s see who the strongest is!” He activated it. “Magical Source! Mystic Force!”
“Time For Time Force!” Katie said, as she took the initiative to morph as well. In a flash. they both morphed into their ranger forms. Shante ran up to them, starting the fight.
She first used her dash attack, to jump up, and turn into a water lily, as Xander got out his Magistaff. “Mystic Axe!” He shouted, as his weapon transformed and he ran up to her, as she dashed away!
“Uh, right behind you!” The genie said, as he turned around.
Xander turned to Katie. “Let’s get her, Katie!” She nodded, as she got out her blaster. “V4!” She shouted, as she aimed it at her.
“Oh my gosh!” Shantae gasped, as she dashed away while Katie fired at her every which way! After a while, she stopped firing.
“Where is she?” Xander asked, his weapon at the ready. Suddenly, she jumped at them with her hair as a whip. They gasped, as they tried to deflect her with their weapons! She kept trying to get to them too. So far, they shouldn’t get to the other.
Suddenly, Katie got out her other weapon! “Chrono Saber!” She called out, as she swung her arms in a clock position and slashed her down, but Shantae dodged it rather quickly.
“Mystic Muscles!” Xander called out, as he activated his code, and formed his muscular form. “I’ll show this genie who she’s messing with!” He said, as he lifted Katie up.
“Wait, Xander! What are you doing?!” Katie asked in shock.
“Fire!” Xander shouted, as he thrust her at the genie, only for Shantae to whip her hair around at the two rangers. Katie got back up, as she got ready to punch her. But, Shantae kept using her hair to whip her.
“Alright!” He said, as he got out his Axe. “Let’s see how you like a taste of blade!” He swung his axe at her, but she literally used her hair to whip is out of his hand. Flustered, he and Katie tried to blast her with their weapons, but her hair proved to be too much for them. She repeatedly whipped them, until they were too weak from their attacks.
Her hair was so overwhelming them, they they immediately fell down and didn’t explode...but they just laid there! She smiled, walking up to them, as she put her foot on Katie’s chest. “Looks like you’re just plain ol amateurs.” She said, as she rolled them on her foot, on the ground. She smiled, as her final battle was won!
But just as she was about to head back, a beam appear before her on the ground. She turned to see it, and was shocked to see a purple armored warrior standing before her. “Void Knight!” She gasped, as she got ready to fight again.
“Are you the strongest?” He asked, pointing his sword at her.
“It doesn’t matter what I am!” She growled. “You’re trying to murder everyone on the battlefield when this is just all in good fun!”
“Fight me!” Void Knight said, as Shantae ran up to him. Her hair clashed with his weapons, as she pushed him back.
“What are you after?!” She asked in rage. “Are you trying to kill everyone?”
“No.” The Knight answered. “I just want to fight the strongest warrior!” He pushed her to the side, with his shield, as she jumped away from him. They continued to clash, as Shante got her hair ready, and whipped him down.
He got back up. “Not bad!” He simply said.
“VOID KNIGHT!” A voice said. He turned to see Twilight running up to him, and ran towards her.
Shantae saw her, and gasped. “Twilight, what are you doing here?!” She asked in shock. But Twilight fired at beam at him, only for the Knight to bop her in the face with his shield, sending her down. She gasped, and then growled at him.
Void Knight was ready to do his power play on the alicorn. “Time to finish you off!” He said, as he got his sword ready and prepared to slash her.
“Twilight, NO!” Shantae screamed as she took her in her arms, and they teleported before Void Knight could finsh either of them.
Void Knight growled at his enemies being gone. “Where did you go?!” He snarled. “Come back! I’m not through with you!” Suddenly, Emperor Marvo arrived to his side, angry.
“Void Knight, you idiot!” Marvo scolded him. “You blew it!” He hit his helmet firmly.
“This was not in the plan!” The Knight said, as he growled. He would have to save his attacks for another day. Right now, Shantae’s matches were done, and Twilight was saved. That was all that mattered.
Back at the training room, Shantae and Twilight both teleported inside, and right away, they could easily tell Twilight was hurt. “TWILIGHT!” They all shouted, as they rushed over to her.
“What happened!” Ash asked in shock.
“Twilight was trying to protect me!” The genie told them. “But, Void Knight got her.” She got out a pack of bandages.
“Void Knight again?!” Mikey asked. “Just what is he up to this time?!”
“No idea!” Sakura said. “She got hurt, protecting Shantae!” She turned to Shantae, who was just putting bandages on her. “Are you just going to ignore him?” Shantae didn’t respond, as she helped nurse Twilight.
“It’ll be okay, Twilight.” Shantae said, as she hugged the sobbing alicorn, who wrapped her wings around her. Sakura felt angry and ignored by her question not being answered.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!” The Cardcaptor said furiously to her. “Are you ignoring us?! That’s rude!”
“Hey, she’s doing everything she can to help Sparkles, here!” Shoutmon said, as Pikachu said, “Pika!” In agreement. “Just let her take care of her. Okay?”
“Shut up! It’s not okay!” Sakura shouted, as they all jumped back.
“Watch it!” Ash scolded her, as she turned to Shantae, who was rather flushed with her.
“That wasn’t very nice of you!” She said upset.
“Listen, here!” She said, pulling the Genie to her face. “I don’t know WHAT Twilight’s beef is with Void Knight! But, we should fight together! Aren’t we all heroes?”
“Easy for you to say!” Shantae shot back! “I don’t see YOU getting beaten by Void Knight!” They all gasped, as she said that. “Besides, can’t you see she is hurt?!” She showed her the injuries Twilight had on her body.
“I know that!” Sakura said, flustered. “But fate brought us together as heroes! Didn’t that form a bond with us?”
Shantae remembered the day that they all met, trying to protect Twilight, and she realized that Twilight even helped save them. “Yeah. I can.” She admitted.
“You shouldn’t forget that!” Sakura said, her voice calming down. “No matter what happens, we should work together!” The genie nodded, as she got up to high five her pal.
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to take care of Twilight!” She said, as she got back to healing her.
“Hey, Shantae’s a really responsible warrior on the battlefield!” Shoutmon said, to his partner.
“That is if she’s tough.” Ash said in agreement.
Just then, an announcement came on the screen. It was Rita. “Hi, everyone!” she announced. “I know it’s sudden, but we have one more participant!” the screen revealed Void Knight right in the Center, shocking everyone, except Twilight, who was too tired to look at the screen!
“VOID KNIGHT?!” Everyone gasped in shock upon seeing him.
“I learned that Void Knight received an invitation, and is an official participant!” Rita continued. “And, he’ll be a wildcard! He will appear whenever it gets exciting!!” Now, everyone felt like they were in danger with him around! “So, do your best!” the screen vanished.
“What?!” Ash asked in shock.
“He only said he’d fight the strongest!” Mikey said. “So, that means he’s not interested in having his wish granted.”
“That means we have to work together!” Sakura started.
“You guys go!” Shantae said. “I have to help Twilight!”
“Come on!” Sakura said, grabbing her, as Twilight yelped. “You need to help too!”
“Don’t argue with me!” The genie told her. “Besides, my matches are already done. You guys have to go!”
The others knew she was right. Her matches were indeed done, and it now fell to the rest of them to take care of him. “She’s right!” Ash said, as he took off. “I’ll start off the Quarter finals! Shantae can take care of Twilight!”
“How dare you!” Sakura sputtered. “You’re just gonna leave an alicorn princess behind?!”
“She’s in no condition to start her match off!” Mikey said, pointing to her injuries. “So, Ash can start this off! She can be last! She needs to heal!” He took off as well.
Sakura was flustered and angry at this response as she kicked the ground. “We really are oddballs!” She said to herself. So far, Twilight was injured, and Ash had to start off the matches without her. And what was worse? Void Knight was participating as well! Things were bad so far, but they were about to get much much worse!
Ash and Pikachu raced towards their battlefield of their next battle, which appeared to be something like Green Hill Zone from the Sonic games. Ash was amazed by what he saw. “So, this is our battlefield?” He asked. “Similar to Sonic’s...only a lot different. I could get used to this.”
“Pika!” Pikachu agreed. At that moment, Koda (Dino Charge Blue) & Cassie (Pink Space Ranger) arrived to the two heroes, and posed. “Ash Ketchum!” Koda said. “So you’re here!”
“It’s them!” Ash said, as he and Pikachu got ready to fight, and both sides raced to a spiral hill, where they were ready.
“You’re gonna be mincemeat, when we’re through with you!” Cassie said, aiming her blaster! “That wish is ours!”
“You’ll never get your hands on it, Cassie!” Ash said firmly.
“Oh yeah?” Cassie asked smugly.
“Yeah!” Ash said, clenching his fist. “And where’s Void Knight? Isn’t he joining in this battle?”
“Void Knight?” Koda asked. “Who’s he?” Ash sighed with relief, knowing that he probably would show up in this one.
“Nevermind!” Ash said. “We’re not gonna let you make your move!” He turned to his partner. “Let’s get them, Pikachu!” The Pokémon piped up in excitement, as it got ready to charge up it’s tail.
“Let’s fight!” Koda said, clenching his fist. And the fight was on! Ash Started this fight off by throwing a few punches at Koda, who tried to block his attacks with his Shield weapon. However, Ash was mightier than the shield as he easily threw him off.
He turned to his partner. “Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!” The Pokémon used its cheeks to turn into a yellow color as it enveloped itself into a lightning bolt, and jumped up, charging at Koda, and struck at him, sending him down.
“Agility now!” Ash said, as Pikachu got ready to use its legs for fast speed to evade Koda! But Koda was quick to grab him, as it was to jump again. He tossed him to the other side. “Alright!” He said in excitement. “Now, that’s tough!” Ash gasped in shock upon seeing a Power Ranger take a Pokémon on.
Cassie was ready to strike at him as well, as she got out her weapon. “Astro Blaster!” She said, splitting her weapon into two blasters. “Twin Strike!” She fired multiple shots at the Pokémon, as he tried to swiftly block them, but he got blasted down.
“Pikachu!” Ash screamed, as he rushed towards him. He growled. “You’ll pay for that!”
“Oh. Will I?” Cassie asked smugly.
“Yes!” Ash said as he gave his next command. “Pikachu, use Thunder!” Pikachu responded by emitting a powerful thunder beam from the sky, which hit Cassie down, as she tumbled in excruciating pain.
“Cassie!” Koda said, as he rushed towards her. “Alright, that’s it! Time to get dirty!” He shouted, as he turned to Cassie. “Let’s finish them off!”
“With you all the way!” Cassie said, as her helmet flashed blue, and it sent a powerful beam which not only got Pikachu, but Ash as well. The two arrived in the digiverse, as they looked around, and saw both rangers flying towards them as they landed.
Koda grabbed Ash’s arms as he gave out the next command. “PIKACHU! USE ELECTRO BALL!” Pikachu obeyed by flipping its tail around to form a ball, sending it RIGHT to Koda, which hit him down to the ground.
“Koda!” Cassie screamed. However, Pikachu ran fast to her, enveloped itself into a electro torpedo, and rammed into her, sending her down and out. “Pika!” The Pokémon cheered instantly, as they had won their round.
“Alright! We did it!” Ash said, as they both did a fist bump, knowing that their round was complete. Good thing Void Knight wasn’t there to show up! He probably would show up later! But, not right now, as Ash and Pikachu had successfully completed their match without any interruption.
Mikey wasted no time in arriving to an auditorium for his battlefield with Shoutmon tagging along. They both saw Goro Sakarai (Spade Ace) already morphed with Kyousuke Shida (Battle France) unmorphed.
“Looks like you’ve mastered in the skills of Digimon!” Spade Ace said determined.
“Looks like you already know what’s happened before you know what happened!” Mikey said smugly.
“Even if that was the case! I’ll bet you haven’t pulled a few faces out yet!” Kyousuke said.
“I’ve already got them!” Mikey said. “Right here!” He motioned to Shoutmon and Balistamon who arrived on either side of him.
Spade ace Smiled, though his helmet didn’t show it. “That’s an impressive phase you have!” He said.
“Now, I’ll show you a new face!” Kyousuke said, as he spun around, starting off his transformation. “Fever!” He was now in his Ranger form. “Battle France!” He said, as he danced.
“A card player, and a dancer, huh?” Mikey said, as he smiled, “This will be too easy!” He turned to his two partners. “Shoutmon! Ballistamon! Go!”
“Right!” They nodded, as they ran up to them. The two rangers nodded, as they ran up and punched them down, but they easily got back up, and threw some harder punches down at them, taking them down.
They got back up. “We’re honoured by your presence, Old man!” Battle France said. “But it seems like your friends are in no condition to fight!” They ran up to the two Digimon, who jumped up, and kicked them down swiftly.
“Aw yeah!” Shoutmon said. “This is just too easy!”
“Back at ya!” Balistamon agreed as well, as they were ready to go at it with them again.
“Not this time!” Spade Ace said as they both ran towards them and did a kick pose, but the two creatures were sly enough to dodge them and slide by them as they missed.
The rangers landed and groaned. “That’s impressive!” Battle France said. “But, we’ll show you our power!” He got into a position in which Spade Ace jumped up from his back and kicked Balistamon down to the ground. “Balistamon!” Shoutmon said in shock.
Battle France got out his command bat, and tossed it up, as Battle Fever J’s cannon came to him. “Take that!” He shouted, as the blast not only hit Balistamon, but also Shoutmon as well! They both tumbled on the ground, groaning in defeat. They could handle on this battle alone.
“Guys!” Mikey said in shock. But then, he realized that he could combine them. He got out his digidex and called out, “Digifuse!” The surge brought in both Digimon creatures, as they combined together!
“Shoutmon X2!” The combined creature said, as it danced. It jumped up in glee. The two rangers were surprised to see them fused.
“A dancing robot?” Battle France asked. “Very Impressive!”
“Let’s see how it can handle our moves!” Spade Ace as they both jumped to perform their signature move.
It was time to act fast. “Shoutmon X2!” Mikey commanded. “NOW!” The robot obeyed as they jumped up, and aimed a blaster at Battle France, and fired it at him, sending him down and out.
“They didn’t call him Battle France for nothing!” Shoutmon X2 joked as he made his next move towards Spade Ace.
“What’s happening?” Spade Ace asked. He got his answer when Shoutmon X2 got his arms out. “What the?” He asked, as he pushed him down to the ground, and he fell down with his comrade.
“Now, let’s finish them!” Shoutmon X2 said, as his head spun and produced a powerful bean hitting them instantly, proving to be too much as they fell down.
“Off the air!” Both rangers shouted, as they fell down, not even exploding. They were out of the ring, and Shoutmon X2 had triumphed.
“Incredible!” The Digimon said, as it landed down on the ground safely, and they defused.
“Noise!” Mikey said, as they both high fived in victory. So far, no one else interfered. They had won their match! But they still had to keep an eye out for Void Knight! Emperor Marvo too!
However, there was no time to worry about that for now! Sakura’s match was about to start! And the new wildcard fighter could appear any moment! They had to be on the lookout.
Sakura and Kero both arrived at an icy Glacier area...much similar to Alaska, as they waited for their opponents to show up. As they arrived, they saw how slick the ice was on the battlefield. “Are you sure they said here?” Kero asked, confused.
“I’m sure they did.” Sakura confirmed. “We wouldn’t have been sent here had it not been important.”
“I’ll take your word for it.” Kero said, as he crossed his arms. Suddenly, he caught sight of three suited warriors walking up to the ice. He gasped, and tugged on Sakura’s ear. “Look over there!” Sakura took notice and saw the three figures walk up to the ice. The figures were Ryu (Red Hawk), Lucas (Time Force Blue) & Chase (Dino Charge Black), and they stood before the Cardcaptor, who was indeed shocked, a little nervous and confident rolled into one.
“Sakura...” Chase spoke up. “...I know this may seem hard on you, three against one.” Kero cleared his throat. “Sorry. Two. But, are you sure you really want to do this?”
“Yeah.” Lucas chimed in as well. “It hardly seems fair...the three of us against you.” He pointed to them as he said that.
Sakura bowed her head down, and nodded. “I know, and I’ll try my best.” She said to them.
“Just what we wanted to hear.” Ryu said, as he smiled. “Now, let’s suit up!”
“Right!” They got their Morphers out, and begun their morphing sequence. “Cross Changer!” Ryu shouted.
“Unleash the Power!” Chase shouted.
“Time For Time Force!” Lucas said, as they were instantly morphed into their ranger forms.
Sakura got out her staff to start off the fight. “Cardcaptor staff!” She called out.
The other three got ready too. “Take your positions!” Ryu said, as they scattered to other parts of the frozen lake.
“This should be interesting!” Kero sarcastically remarked as Sakura got ready.
“Easy now!” Lucas said, getting his sword out.
“We got her surrounded.” Chase said, getting his weapon out.
“I’m going in!” Ryu said, as he combined his Jet weapons and jumped for her. Luckily, she got her staff ready. And when Ryu fired at her, she used her staff to block out the blasts. Ryu landed and was shocked that all his attacks were blocked. “No way!” He said in amazement.
“Now, it’s my turn!” Lucas said, as he got his Chrono Saber ready. He ran up to Sakura, who blocked the Saber with her staff. She delivered a powerful kick to his gut, and when the time was right, grabbed him fiercely by the arm, holding him in place.
“Is that all you got?” Sakura asked, to which Lucas shook his head, stating, “No!” She firmly released him.
“Man!” Lucas said out loud, “She’s tough!”
“How about some Para Power?” Chase said, as he got out his Para Chopper and ran towards her. Sakura quickly noticed, and used her staff. “Para Chopper!” Chase called out as he used his weapons to fire at her. Fortunately, the Cardcaptor would not give up that easily, as she knocked it out of his hand, and kicked him to the ground, as he lost his own balance.
“You’re really gonna have to keep training if you want to win!” Sakura said, calmly as she walked away from him, while Chase got up.
“Boy, I’m glad she’s a Cardcaptor!” Chase said out loud as he got up.
“So, that’s how you want to play it?” Ryu said, as he formed his blaster and jumped up to kick her.
“Hey, Sakura!” Kero called out in alarm. “Heads up!” She took notice and immediately jumped to evade his attack. Lucas tried to use his V3 blaster at her, to which she immediately blocked them with her staff. She even threw a punch at Chase, as he too tried to go for her!
They eventually regrouped, and readied their weapons at her. “Got you this time!” All three rangers said in unison as they were ready to strike at her.
Sakura was ready too, as she got out a power card and struck her staff at it immediately! “Power Card! Release and dispel!” She shouted, as the power card emitted a powerful energy spiral around Sakura, protecting her from their attacks.
“Huh?” The rangers said in shock, as they took notice.
“Charge your power confined!” Sakura bellowed as she struck the card, and it fired a huge beam across all three rangers, which was much too powerful for them to handle! The rangers fell down to the ground, and immediately exploded as they fell.
“Great capture, Sakura!” Kero exclaimed in excitement.
“Thanks, Kero.” She thanked him. So far, her matches....as well as Mikey’s were done! Ash and Twilight were the only ones left with fights. Though, Twilight’s fight in this round was still coming.
Just then, she heard an announcement from out of nowhere. “Attention fighters!”
“Rita?!” Both Cardcaptors gasped.
“The final match in the Quarter Finals, has been going on for a long time!” Rita continued. “Time to deploy the Wildcard to finish it up!” she showed them a hologram of Void Knight.
“Void Knight’s gonna participate in this final quarter match!” Sakura gasped.
“Even worse!” Kero gasped. “That’s Twilight’s match, and she hasn’t fully recovered!” This made Sakura panic, as she had to contact Shantae.
“Shantae! We have a problem!” Sakura said urgently.
Back on Nemesis, Rita was just relaxing when she deployed the wildcard player to handle Twilight’s match. “Now, the wish will come true sooner!” She said, as she laid back on her seat, watching the light balls gather up. “Isn’t that great, everyone?” She looked up, and smiled not normally. Something was off about Rita, but what?! Whatever it was, they would have to find out sooner or later!
“Rita is going to deploy Void Knight in Twilight’s match!” Sakura instantly relayed the message to Shantae. “And, Twilight hasn’t recuperated yet!”
“I understand, Sakura.” Shantae’s said, bowing her head down. “But, I don’t know what else we can do!”
“Void Knight will be looking all over for Twilight!” Kero panicked.
Twilight heard this news and immediately decided to take action. “Let me handle this!” She said, which made everyone gasp. “What?!” They asked.
“Prepare to warp me into Void Knight’s coordinates.” Twilight said, still straining from her defeat.
“Twilight, you’re not ready yet!” Shantae said, coming to her side. “You still need to rest!”
“Don’t worry about me!” The pony said, sticking her hoof out. “I’ll be fine. Void Knight will probably be looking for me, anyway. Now, do it!”
“I don’t care how powerful you are!” Kero said over the com. “If you go out there, and Void Knight slays you, you’ll be toast!”
“You haven’t fully recovered yet!” Sakura said. “Don’t do it!”
“We’re begging you! Please!” Kero pleaded.
“Obey my command!” Twilight said, seriously. “You must trust me!” Everyone gasped as she said that.
Shantae nodded, as she got up. “I’m radioing in the coordinates.” She said, as she turned to her. “Are you sure you want to do this, Twilight?” She nodded.
“This is crazy, Twilight!” Kero warned her. “You’ll never make it back alive!”
“I’ll be back, Kero.” Twilight said, as she mustered up her strength to walk towards the portal. “Besides, this is my match to handle!” She was ready to step through. “Initiate launch! Now!” The portal rippled and projected the area where Void Knight would participate in the fight. Twilight stepped through the portal, and was swept through it instantly!
“Twilight!” Shantae said in sheer calm shock. Now, Twilight was about to handle her match in the quarter finals. Only trouble was...she wasn’t recovered yet! But, there was no time to worry about that now! The Quarter matches was wrapping up! This fight would determine if Twilight would win or not!
Sakura and Kero had already gotten word out that Void Knight would arrive towards the next battlefield of the matches, which was an abandoned parking lot. Also, that was where Twilight Sparkle herself, would have her match. Although, her new friends tried to warn her that she wasn’t fully recovered yet, and that she was still wounded, she ignored their warnings, and decided to go it alone, as she was teleported towards her match.
Meanwhile, at that same battlefield, Victor (Red One), Trip (Time Force Green), & Kendall Morgan (Dino Charge Purple) were already morphed, and sparring off with each other, practicing for the fight. Suddenly, the unexpected happens as Void Knight had teleported there, and they took notice of his presence. He aimed his Saber at them. “Are you the strongest?” He asked.
“We’ve been waiting for you to show your face, Void Knight!” Victor said, as he posed bravely.
“There you are!” Trip exclaimed.
“Let’s go!” Kendall said, as they charged at him.
The fight started unexpectedly without Twilight, as the Brain team tried to through a multitude of punches and kicks at the armored warrior. However, he deflected them all, and no matter how many attacks they tried to pull, his armor was hard to be crack.
Meanwhile, Twilight was rushing towards the battlefield, ready to strike at her attacker, pure rage brewing up in her body! “I’ll get him this time!” She said out loud, growling. “Void Knight, here I come!” She snarled as she ran towards her destination.
At the same time, Shantae, Sakura and Kero were watching the Brain Team duke it out with Void Knight with less than satisfactory results. They were completely worried about what would happen to Twilight, and how the fight would turn out. “I hope Twilight will be okay!” Shantae said, worriedly.
“Me too.” Kero agreed, as he scanned the room. “Hey, has anyone seen Ash and Mikey?” He asked them. “I thought they’d be there after their matches, but they’re not there!”
“What?!” Both girls cried out in shock.
At a library room, Ash and Mikey were both searching the area for information on the Universal Ranger Tournament with the help of Shoutmon and Pikachu. So far, they found no results. “Any luck?” Ash asked.
“Nothing.” Mikey said, as he closed a book.
Ash groaned. “Aw man!” He said. “How are we supposed to look up any information on the Universal Ranger Tournament without anything to explain it?”
“And just what is the Universal Ranger Tournament?” Mikey asked.
“Pika!” Pikachu piped up, as he climbed on top of the table, where Ash was.
“Are you a spy?” Shoutmon asked, as Mikey grabbed him. “Whoa!”
“Calm down, Shoutmon.” Mikey said seriously. “He’s not a spy, but he sure knows what's going on.” He turned to Ash. “Don't you, Ash?”
Ash nodded. “I know we were teleported there.” He explained. “But, why were we here? How are we going to win? How do we get our wishes granted?” As he said that, he opened a book, that shimmered brightly before them. “Whoa!” He said, as he jumped back. “Mikey? Shoutmon?” They came to his side. “You might want to see this!”
They gasped upon seeing the projecting that was being shown to them. “Wow!” Mikey said, pointing to it. “What is that?”
“I don’t know!” Ash said, as he scanned through the book. “But, I have a feeling that this type of energy might not be from our world.” They nodded, as they scanned the pages of the books and saw pictures of various teams of Power Rangers and Super Sentai. They were quite intrigued at the teams that were shown on the pages. “They’re investigating Power Rangers?” Ash asked.
“AND Super Sentai?!” Mikey asked as well.
“It sure seems like it.” Shoutmon said, pointing at the pages. “Look!” They all saw the teams of Super Sentai, and they saw that he was right. They’re not just researching Sentai and Power Rangers..but also Twilght’s team, Cardcaptors and Pokémon and Digimon as well! The question was...why?
“Why would Rita even be researching all of these teams, and Twilight’s team as well?” Ash asked. They all looked at the pages, and flipped to the cover and gasped. They looked at each other, and smiled. They had a plan! Quickly, they ran back to the room to show their friends this information they found!
Back at the battlefield, the Brain team was still going at it with Void Knight. Unfortunately, they were taking a real beating from him, as Trip got slashed in the gut, while using his Chrono Saber, and kicked to the ground.
“Plesio Rocket!” Kendall shouted, as she activated her arms weapon, and charged at him, only for the Knight to slash it, AND herself down as well.
“I won’t let you win!” Victor shouted, as he ran to punch him down. Only at that moment, Void Knight grabbed him.
“You’re quite the strong one.” He said to him. “Now, tell me...where is Twilight Sparkle?”
“I don’t know!” Victor said. “And, even if I did know, I’ll never tell!”
“Never is here!” The Knight said, as he decked him to the wall, with his shield, sending him down and out...for now.
“VOID KNIGHT!” Twilight shouted, as she arrived. He took notice, and saw the pony arrive towards him.
“So, you’ve decided to show up, huh?” He asked smugly.
“I’ve waited LONG ENOUGH for this!” Twilight bellowed. “We’re gonna settle things here and now!”
“You’ve already lost to Marvo in the past...” he sneered. “So, why should I fight you?”
“I don’t care!” The warrior snarled, rage brewing in her voice. “It’s time I fight you!” She charged towards the Knight, as she filed up her horn and fired at him. Void Knight tried to get to her, but she teleported away from him, and fired some beams at him.
The Knight was about to go for her, as she stuck her hoof out, “Stay away!” Twilight shouted as she backed up, scrambling backwards. “I know a lot of spells!”
“Oh, do you?” Void Knight smirked confidently. “Can you show them to me?”
“Like this!” Twilight said, as she lit her horn, and the ground underneath the armored warrior blew up. Dust billowed everywhere, and Twilight coughed as some of it entered her lungs.
Twilight cautiously approached the cloud of dust, peering through it. “Did that work…?” She wondered.
“Nope!” Void Knight replied, as he ran to her, and hit her in the face with his shield, sending her flying.
“Oomph,” Twilight rolled on the ground, groaning from where she had slammed into it at high speed. Ouch, that hurt. Right, what can I do?” She wondered of all the spells she could use. “Stun spell. Transfiguration spell. Freeze Spell.” When saw saw her attacker, her mind was instantly made up. “Oh, forget it, let’s use them all.”
“Come on, now,” Void Knight chided. “Did you really think that you, a alicorn, could hurt a powerful Rafkon warrior?”
“Yes,” Twilight answered. “And I’ll prove it to you.” Springing forwards, she fired a stun spell at him, forcing him to use his shield.
“Resistance is futile!” He laughed. “You cannot hope to—”
“Wrong,” Twilight teleported behind him firing a freeze spell, enveloping him in ice. “I can.” Twilight fired her last spell, a transfiguration spell just as Void Knight broke out of the ice.
“YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME—” he bellowed as he charged at Twilight. The unicorn smiled as the Knight charged straight into her trap.
“Nope!” Twilight replied cheerfully. “You cannot defeat me!” At that, the ground under him exploded with a force one hundred and sixty-nine thousand, three hundred fifty-seven and two-thirds times larger than the earlier explosion, which not only took him, but also the Brain Team as well. When the dust settled, she turned to see the other members of the Brain team down and out, just sitting there motionless.
She blushed. “Oh, would you believe I meant to do that?” She asked, as she smiled. She had not only beaten Void Knight, but also the Brain team unexpectedly. What a turnabout!
She saw the dust clear around Void Knight, and saw his armored body...but, what shocked her was that she saw an actual human head. This meant that Void Knight...was human! She gasped in shock at her discovery. “You’re...you’re a human!” She said in shock. “I don’t believe it!”
Void Knight was furious, as he raised his sword, and performed an X slash at her, as she quickly put up a shield, protecting her from it. She took down the shield, as it settled. He was shocked at how his opponent blocked his finisher so quickly. Nevertheless, He snarled as he picked up his helmet and put it back on. “My face...” he said softly, as he turned to Twilight, sword at the ready. “You may have defeated me!” He thundered. “But, when I get back, Emperor Marvo won’t be so forgiving!” He turned heel and left the lot, teleporting out.
Twilight was shocked that she had defeated Void Knight, and given the fact that her attacker was human! She pondered why he was human to begin with. Why was he human? What was his purpose?
