When Sunset Shimmer is accused of a crime she never committed. She tries to convince the public she never did this but when harmful words are said the only thing she thinks she is not worthy to live but a certain special person in her life comes along and saves her life, will they make it? or will it be too late.
Chanterlot is busy with the holiday coming around people spreading holiday cheer, all but a certain girl with red and gold hair 17 year old Sunset Shimmer a reformed bully, savior of CHS from the sirens, And now accused cyber bully when she never really did her friends had planned her slumber parties to help her to not be lonely during this time they called her family, and she believed that but now she's wondering alone in almost negative temperature weather tears rolling down her cheeks,
“Why…why can’t they see I’m not doing this.” Sunset choked a sob, “I'm just not worth having a family.” As she just arrived at the bridge, she had just got away from her former friends yelling at her telling her she wasn't welcomed at Sugarcube Corner that just happened moments ago.
Flashback 1 hour ago
The bell at the café rings. The 5 girls turned to see a red and gold haired girl looking at them, the rainbow haired one looked at her will rage.
"Hey, get out." Yelling the rainbow haired girl Sunset flinched with tears forming in her eyes Fluttershy soon noticed she knew those eyes, the eyes of the deep depressed, and not willing to live, she wanted to say something but then Applejack spoke.
"Yer not welcome here Sunset." Applejack spat Sunset then tried to speak but was on the verge of crying.
"Pl-please it wasn't m-me i recently have been talking to Twilight this whole time before this happened even she can tell you i have nothing to do with this I'm not-" Sunset began then was stopped by a sharp pain that knocked her to the ground she looked up at the rainbow haired girl with a look of pure shock and terror and worst of all sadness the rainbow haired girl looked down at her with pure anger but then she stopped as soon as Fluttershy held onto her fist she relaxed a little bit then Sunset grabbed her things and mumbled something only Fluttershy could hear "I thought we were family i loved you girls." then she ran off forgot her journal leaving it Fluttershy picked it up then looked to where Sunset ran off to and then turned around then Fluttershy had the courage to write something into it telling Twilight what just happened ”Please Twilight save her i saw it the agony, the pain, the betrayal in her eyes i have a really bad feeling that what happens next we'll all regret.”
Princess of Friendship Castle
Twilight was writing a paper to Princess Celestia when the book vibrated, she quickly picked it up hoping the conflict between Sunset and the girls was over when she read it, she was dead wrong quickly she shut the book.
"Spike I'm going over to Sunset she needs help." Twilight exclaimed to her little dragon assistant who was running to her.
"Can I come too please? I'll be able to track her down also?" Spike begged Twilight nodded. They looked at the mirror. Twilight put the journal on top of the mirror with her magic and they both ran into it hoping Sunset will be okay.
Chantorlot bridge near Sugarcube Corner
Sunset slowly walked to the bridge feelings of sadness and betrayal the five girls she thought as her friends and most of all family think she was a just a bully and all she'll ever be she walked towards the ledge tears still streaming down her face thinking of all the times her and the girls would spend time together practically bonding but now that meant nothing to anyone, she inhaled her face scrunched up and then.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAH." she screamed at the top of her lungs the sound echoed through the town then she started to climb over the ledge then she let go taking one last look up into the starry night sky seeing only one purple spec followed by five other colored specs running on top of the bridge then closed her eyes soon plumbing into the water trying to let death take her.
"goodbye girls, goodbye twilight, goodbye mom I’m sorry I failed you" her last thoughts before plunging into the cold deep water

Meanwhile at sugarcube corner Fluttershy and the other girls were talking than a ring from the door interrupted the conversation the little sisters of applejack, Rarity, and adopted sister of rainbow dash, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo walked in with a guilty look on their faces.
"Applebloom , what's wrong?" applejack asked, looking at her sister Applebloom looking like she was near tears.
"Sweetie, darling, is everything alright?" Rarity asked sweetie belle had the same look as Applebloom sadness and guilt with watery eyes
"Squirt...?" Rainbow Dash said Scootaloo then ran to her adopted sister and ambushed her in a hug sobbing into her big sister's shirt.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean it, I didn't think clearly, I just wanted to spend more time with you." Scootaloo cried out holding onto Rainbow Dash tighter, rainbow was confused but then it clicked suddenly she held onto the girl squinting her eyes shut the last thing she remembered was Sunset when she was on the ground the look of sadness, fear, and worse betrayal in the cyan eyes that once shined with happiness, joy, and friendship. then another ring of the bell of the café rang out and there stood Princess Twilight Sparkle with her was Spike her number one assistant
"We need to find her now." Twilight ordered the five girls ran out the door with Twilight the they heard a scream that sounded like Sunset's with determination, and hope that they'll make it in time Twilight's running speed burst and she ran ahead then she made it to the bridge where she saw a red and gold hair with her signature leather jacket falling into the water she stopped over from where she fell and then she began to climb over to jump in after her she ponied-up and dove in the water to save Sunset, She grabbed her as soon as she landed on the bottom and dove back up flapping her wings while carrying Sunset's weight the fiery hair clung into Sunset's face her lips were blue she landed near the others, Spike ran over and was trying to help Twilight with trying to keep her warm with his fur, Pinkie was already on the phone with 911 Fluttershy was crying her eyes out, all along she was right that her friend Sunset shimmer tried to commit suicide but thanks to fate of Sunset forgetting the journal she was able to be saved in time. as the sound of sirens were now getting close Fluttershy looked at Sunset's limp body, tears going down her eyes in despair,
"Please hang on Sunset! I now know you're not Anon-a-Miss now and I'm sorry for what I said of not being our friend." Fluttershy thought as the memory of her and the girls confronting her and the words of her saying she wasn't a friend echoed through her mind.
Sunset's mind was all jumbled with herself in the middle floating, dangling above a dark space in her mind. She looked around wondering if she succeeded, is she in the afterlife? Is she in the waiting zone for her to be taken to heaven? she heard an echo of a siren going off it was muffled but it was there she heard a muffled voice along with it, it was raspy she knew that voice, but she did not want to believe it
"Sunset? Sunset? Can you hear me? please stay with us!"
The voice echoed along with several other voices then two others came in
"Mrs. shimmer were taking you to the hospital okay just hang in there."
Sunset put her hands on her ears hoping she could just not hear the voices and somehow get peace then a bright light came into the blackness and a voice that she heard was awfully familiar.
"You're not ready yet Sunset Shimmer, your life is still ahead of you full of life, a potential my former student." then a figure appeared of the princess of Equestria Celestia of all ponies Sunset did not want to talk until she was ready tears came before her eyes, Celestia looked at her then slowly trotted towards her former student, unfolded her right wing, and draped her wing over her crying student.
"I... I failed you princess, you and princess Twilight I tried to get over my past I tried to start over but... but I give up." Sunset sobbed into the princess' white coat. Then the blackness switched to the outside point of view then she heard sobbing she turned around seeing Twilight and Spike right next to her soaking wet out cold body along with Fluttershy who was holding her cold hand trying to feel if she would wake up.
"Where am I, and why is Twilight here?" Sunset asked looking at Princess Celestia with worry, the white alicorn looked at her with a calm neutral look. which still does not make Sunset feel reassured “i’m afraid when you decided to take your life someone called for help and as for where you are you are in a state of comatose after you fell into the water.” Princess Celestia said softly, trying to keep Sunset Shimmer calm.

Fluttershy was sitting next to an unconscious Sunset Shimmer holding her hand tears streaming down her face her teal blue eyes looked down at Sunset, the unconscious girl had a face of despair and peace mixed with tears still on her face it looked like she cried as she fell into the river letting death take her Fluttershy was relieved that Twilight saved Sunset Shimmer from a cold and watery death but a pang of guilt was still in her chest from not believing Sunset, she looked down on said girl and in a whisper she said “i’m so sorry sunset please don't go and please forgive me..”
The ambulance finally arrived at the emergency entrance Fluttershy and Twilight hopped down from where they were sitting the gurney ran past them as the paramedics ran Sunset Shimmer into the ER, just as Twilight was about to head in Fluttershy spoke up “Tw..Twilight?” she said in a soft voice Twilight turned around looking at her with a neutral look with no smile but when she saw that Fluttershy had regret and despair in her eyes with tears coming down her expression soften then she flicked her head to follow her, Fluttershy slowly followed Twilight put a comforting arm around Fluttershy the others were waiting in the waiting room they looked up as soon Fluttershy and Twilight walked in all of them had a expression of remorse and guilt then Rarity finally spoke up.
“Darling i feel just awful of what i have done to Sunset i can't speak for all but for myself i am so sorry and i do not deserve her as a friend.” Rarity said then pinkie shouted “we are horrible friends.” as she banged her head onto the table. Twilight then decided to say her peace with a meanful serious look which made everyone very uncomfortable.
“As far as i’m concerned you all have been total assholes to Sunset after i specifically told you all to look after her and show her friendship then one little thing happens, and now she’s in the hospital only Fluttershy had the guts, and common sense to contact me, to tell me to help her, but also if i wasn’t here Sunset would be dead instead in a coma from the cold water.” Twilight spoke of anger then looked at the CMC’s with more rage.
“And what about you girls huh? Do you know why Sunset wanted to kill herself? Because she thinks she wasn’t worthy to live, she thought your sisters were her world, and you took her world away from her, you took her only close thing she has to a family, Princess Celestia informed me about her before she put Sunset under her wing she was an orphan she lost her mother and father due to a dragon attack incident.” Twilight then stopped and snorted and breathed heavily then Applebloom then spoke through her tears.
“It was mah i..idea ah had no idea it was going to go this way all i wanted is to spend more time with mah sister don’t be harsh on’er be harsh on me.” Applebloom cried.
Twilight looked at her with a not a furious expression but with a neutral expression then Fluttershy spoke up, “the reason I didn’t want to say anything is because of how the fear of getting hit over something that could’ve been avoided if these three had told us how they felt, or asked anyone for advice.”Fluttershy said sternly, “and now Sunset’s in a coma because of how w…we…. fucked up.” Fluttershy blurted then the doctor came out from the ER and walked up to Princess Twilight everyone looked concerned of the whereabouts of their friend who's in a state of comatose the doctor looked at them with a small smile
“Is everyone here for Ms. Sunset Shimmer?” he questioned everyone nodded
Sunset shimmer laid unconscious in the bed, her heartbeat steady and slow the oxygen tube in her nose but sunset’s spirit looked onwards to where he body was she looked at princess celestia with a worried gaze “why did i have to be saved why can't i be with my mother, and father? Why can't I just…. Let go..” sunset sobbed into celestia’s wing. Celestia looked at her as any concerned mother would but she remembered the day sunset’s parents were killed by a dragon the accident scarred sunset’s life and made her an orphan.
“Sunset in our world and this one there are ponies and humans that care deeply for others that those individuals want to save people from harm and of your parents they would want you to grow up have children of your own, and live the life that they would have let you have but couldn’t because of them being taken so soon. And for you letting go I do not know but I'm certain you are referring to letting go of your life or letting go of your past?”
“B-both.” sunset said sadly still sobbing with in the wings Princess Celestia tighten her wings on sunset holding her close
“Do not think of that sunset you have so much to live for think of the people who care about you think of fluttershy think of twilight think about….me.” Princess Celestia said sunset looked up open her mentor and saw the tears forming sunset knew those eyes loving and motherly and sad all at once “I should have been there more for you when you needed help with friendship i should have listened to you I could have been a mother to you but instead i treated you like any other student even when you lost the family you once had I should have stepped up but i didn’t but sunset you are like a daughter to me i would take back the things I said and done but we can't change the past but we can change the future if you want we can stay in this form or we could go back and live once more it’s your choice.”
Sunset debated and thought it through then she looked up at Princess Celestia with hope and determination. “I think we should go back i want to live.”
“Doctor, what is going to happen to sunset? She's been like this for days. How long will my friend be like this?” twilight asked sunset’s surgeon with a worried look the doctor took his glasses off and set them on his desk and looked at twilight with a sad look “i gonna break it to you Ms. Sparkle there are some cases where the person dies in her sleep but your friend has a strong will to live that’s why her body is fighting, it’s confused it’s trying to stay alive somehow but medical studies can not solve her case, she’ll wake up in her own time but until then we must wait until whatever day that is.” The doctor said giving twilight a small smile then a knock breached the ears of both in the small office room “come in.” the doctor said the door opened revealing a woman who is a nurse she had a smile on her face “Doctor GreyHooves it sunset she’s coming to i bet Ms. Sparkle would want to be there when she fully wakes up.”
“Thank you nurse Redheart, we’ll be there shortly.” doctor GreyHooves said cheerly then looked at princess twilight with a small smile “well Ms. sparkle how about we go see your friend sunset wake up.” twilight nodded “of course i need to be with her by her side when she wakes up.” twilight said as they both walked out of the office.

Applejack was tossing and turning in her sleep tears dripping on her face she was having the saddest dream in her life
Sunset Shimmer lays dead on the scene where she drowned herself applejack cried as she now knew she messed up then behind sunsets body she sees the silhouette of her friend as she is in her spirit form she looks at applejack with sad eyes “Why? I thought you girls said you were my family?” applejack looks at sunset’s spirit “I’m sorry i did this to you sunset i never wanted this whole ordeal to happen i did mean what i said you are family and still is but my anger got the best of me i never wanted you to die because of my stupidity i wish i was in your place instead of you.” sunset's sad face disappeared, then the sclera of sunset’s eyes turned black and her irises became a dark teal “that can be arranged.” her spirit said in a spiteful voice then lunged at Applejack
“Graaaagh!” applejack screamed rolling off the bed in the pile of blankets and sweat, her phone began to rang she quickly ran to her charger and unplugged the cord and answered it
“Hello?”
“Applejack?” Fluttershy’s quite voice spoke
“Hey Fluttershy what do you need?” applejack said
“Princess Twilight called from the hospital sunset's waking up, we need to head over right away.” Fluttershy said in a calm happy voice “alright I’m on my way.” applejack said then hung up the phone.
As applejack got into the family truck and headed straight for the hospital as she made it there rarity, pinkie pie, Fluttershy and rainbow were their waiting for her in the lobby twilight and the doctor were standing waiting for them doctor had a smile on his face and twilight with a neutral look “well now now that everyone's here let’s go see sunset.” Dr. GreyHooves said
********Sunset’s POV 11:30PM******** Bright lights and a solid beeping noise and voices one familiar and others she knew dearly and a unknown voice and a soft hand gripped her hand that had the IV stuck into it. Sunset slowly opened her eyes and looked at everyone who had a look of concern and relief and sadness after what everyone had been through including sunset she looked over to whose hand had been holding hers and she was surprised to see Fluttershy and looking past her twilight sparkle her most trusted friend and the one she has been talking to everyone in this whole ordeal and she slowly looked at everyone and said “hey…..” she said in a raspy voice
After three days straight and waiting patiently hoping, praying, but finally Sunset Shimmer has finally woken from being in her coma, the Rainbooms were in tears, happy to see their friend who for two weeks had been through hell a pang of guilt ran through Applejack’s heart she took her hat off her head and placed it on her chest “Su-Sunset im mighty sorry how i treated you even after the fact i say you was family.” Applejack said while holding her tears “as well as i darling i never should have turned my back on you.” Rarity exclaimed standing up walking over towards Sunset’s hospital bed tears coming slowly down her face. “Please will you ever forgive us.” Sunset looked at them with calm but saddened look she had tears in her eyes, she was contemplating if she wanted to forgive them, she got hurt by them even felt like she was being lied to, she then looked up at Rarity and said her answer “i don't know if i can forgive you but i’m willing to try.” Sunset said Rarity looked like she was relieved and sad at the same time.
Princess Twilight stood up walked over to Sunset’s bed placed her hand on sunset’s and said “i know it wasn’t easy for you sunset but please forgive me as well i should have been there for you, as a princess of friendship i felt like i failed my duty, to help with a friendship problem i almost lost you sunset please don’t do that again.” Princess Twilight said almost in tears.
Sunset looked at Princess Twilight and nodded “it’s alright twilight in the end i’m not dead or gone and because of you i can go further in life and help others and someday find love.” Sunset smiled “thank you Twilight…..” then Sunset slumped back into her bed getting some rest.the doctor came in and said “she needs rest.” everyone slowly left the small hospital room, knowing now Sunset will be just fine “so..what now?” Rainbow Dash finally spoke after leaving the room. “Well applebloom will have to make up for what she did, thankfully ah have to get back to the farm i’m calling it a night, you need a ride twi back to the statue?” Princess Twilight shook her head “no i rather stay here until she feels better.” Princess Twilight responded.
Applejack nodded and left soon one by one everyone left except Princess Twilight and Fluttershy “thank you for writing to me if you hadn't we would neer see sunset again.” Twilight said Fluttershy nodded and then after that she left leaving princess twilight by herself, Princess Twilight walked back into the room sat down in the chair next to Sunset Shimmer, she took sunset’s hand and held it she fell asleep right there hold sunset’s hand “i’ll make sure nothing will happen to you.”
