The Ninjas and Rainbooms team up with Team Shine and the Digidestined
Baxter Stockman is back and he's formed a new alliance that involves a world full of digital monsters. As Karai calls on an old friend, a group of kids come through with partners of their own. Coming together, the heroes will face new enemies and get ready to shine!
It was a nice evening in New York. A kind of night where nothing could go wrong crime wise. Above one of the taller buildings stood The Ninja Turtles and their friends, The Rainbooms. The Rainbooms had their spring break so they decided to have it visiting their New York friends. For the past couple of weeks, there hasn’t been any new mutants, threats, or Purple Dragons or any thugs, but they still prepared for anything with their training and runs. But of course, they still have time for fun.
“Everyone ready?” Leo asked.
“We’re ready here, Leo.” Twilight spoke for her friends.
“Turtle formation, Brothers!” Leo ordered his brothers.
The Rainbooms and the Turtles jumped off the building, only for Pinkie to land on a gargoyle statue and the Rainbooms pile on her while Sunset hangs on the front.
“What happened to Rainbow formation?” Sunset frowned.
“Rainbow formation? I thought you said Cupcake formation.” Pinkie shrugged.
“Cupcake? Why would I say Cupcake formation?” scolded Rainbow.
“You too, huh?” Raph asked.
The Girls look to see the Turtle brothers piled onto each other with Mikey on the bottom. Shortly, They all got back on track and began to jump from building to building. Along the way, The Rainbooms couldn’t help but show off their powers.
Then, Rainbow Dash lands on Rarity while in midair. “Hey, Rarity. Do that thing!”
“Rainbow, it’s a bit unnecessary.” Rarity scolded.
“Doitdoitdoit. Not gonna stop until you do it. Doitdoitdoit.”
Rolling her eyes, Rarity produced a diamond disk that Rainbow jumped on and surfed on it like a surfboard. Meanwhile, Raph was jumping around when a flock of birds flew through him, resulting him with a mouth of feathers.
“Look, Raph. This one’s name is Gladys.” Fluttershy introduced the bird on her head.
Raph spat out the feathers. “Yeah. We met.”
“They’re gonna be there, right?” Sunset asked.
“They’ll be there.” Leo guaranteed.
Soon enough, they were joined by their friends April O’Neil, Casey Jones, and Keno, who was carrying a couple pizza boxes.
“And here they are. Hey April.” Donnie greeted.
“Hey Dee. Hey Girls.” April smiled.
“How’s it hanging, Jones?” Rainbow fist bumped with Casey as they still ran.
“All Cool, Rainbow.” Casey grinned.
“Good to see you, too, Keno.” Applejack ran past Keno.
“Always good to see you, Girls.” Keno smiled back.
Soon, they all entered a venting shaft and continued to run through the catwalks.
“Everyone knows the rules. Keep the pizzas away from Mikey and Pinkie!” Leo called.
“Hey, Raph! Think fast!” Keno threw a pizza to him.
“Got it!”
Keno threw the other pies to Sunset, Applejack, and Donnie. Mikey and Pinkie jumped around to grab one of the pizzas, only for that person to pass it to someone else. Some were close that either April or Twilight had to use their telepathy to snag the pizza away. Mikey and Pinkie didn’t mind for they were treating it like it was a game. Then, the group finally landed in the scorebox in the basketball stadium as the Knicks game began.
“Awesome! We made it!” Rainbow cheered.
“Spike, we’re here.” Twilight opened her bag as her pup popped out.
“Good! Cause, no offense, but I was getting a cramp in that bag.”
“Alright! I say go. You say Knicks.” Pinkie cheered. “Go!”
“Knicks!” Everyone cried.
“Go!”
“Knicks!”
“Go!”
“Knicks!”
“Go!”
“Knicks!”
As the game continued, they all watched as they ate pizza and enjoyed sodas Pinkie brought.
“May not be hockey, but nothing beats a good old basketball game.” Casey grinned.
“I’m just glad we actually can relax for once.” April added.
“Eyup. No Krang. No evil mutants. No Equestria magic. No other dimensions.” Applejack sighed.
“Still, we should be ready should anything happen.” Leo pointed out, recalling when their counterparts came to their dimension.
“Agreed.” Twilight nodded.
“Never a dull moment with us.” Raph added, biting into his slice.
“At least Fugitoid is back at the lair should anything happen.” Sunset said, grabbing another slice.
Just then, Leo’s T-phone went off. Leo goes to the corner with Twilight behind him as he answered it.
“Hello?” He spoke as he put it on speaker phone so Twilight can listen in.
“Leo, it’s Karai.”
“Hi, Karai.” Twilight spoke.
“Hey, Twilight.”
Mikey perked up. “Karai? Is Shinigami with her? Tell her I said hi!”
Annoyed, Twilight used her geode magic to levitate a slice of pizza to lure Mikey away.
Leo continued. “So… What’s up?”
“I’m at Grand Central with Shini and the Dazzlings. Adagio is going undercover and we might have a lead on the whereabouts of Baxter Stockman. Thought you might be interested to know.”
Sure enough, Karai was on the roof of Grand Central Station with Shinigami, Aria, and Sonata looking through the roof window, seeing Adagio at the bar wearing a simple purple dress and violet gloves, enjoying a drink while eyeballing a suspicious guy in a trenchcoat carrying a briefcase.
“It would be nice to stop Stockman once and for all.” Leo said, remembering how dangerous he was before and after he worked for Shredder. “Do you need any help?”
“Nah. We’ll let you if we find anything.” Karai answered. “Besides, Donnie will be happy to know Adagio’s using his gift to her last Christmas.”
Adagio activated her watch before heading near the guy while pretending to flirt with younger boy nearby. The watch was hacking whatever was in the briefcase. Thankfully, the hack was completed before the stranger left the area. Adagio smiled as she saw an icon on the that resembled Donnie and continued with her flirting with the boy before playfully leaving the station.
Back at the game, The Turtles, allies, and Rainbooms were still enjoying themselves.
“Defense! Defense!” they cheered with the crowd below.
However, just as a player was about to make a basket, the electric billboards all started to glitch up before rerturning to normal.
“What was that about?” Sunset asked.
“Maybe electric issues?” Rainbow asked.
“I don’t know. It’s been doing that the last couple of days, leaving a vibe everytime.” April said, feeling her head.
“Technical difficulties. Never fun.” Keno sighed.
“Let’s head out and see if we can meet up with Karai.” Leo suggested and with that, they all left.
Shortly after, The Turtles and Rainbooms were jumping from building to building when Leo’s T Phone went off.
“Guys! Hold up!” Everyone stopped on a building as Leo answered his phone and put it on speaker.
“Hello?” “Leo, we’re about to go over the data Adagio hacked and-” Karai was interrupted by Adagio gasping.
“Nonononononono!”
“What’s wrong?” Sunset asked.
Adagio was looking at her watch. “The files are automatically deleting themselves!”
“What?” Karai hurried over to see the last of the files deleting itself.
“Must’ve been an automatic self-destruct mechanism.” Twilight theorized.
“Clever girl.” Mikey sneered only to be smacked by Raph.
“Figures Stinkman would hide his tracks! And here I was hoping we’d bag him this time.”
Adagio spoke up. “Wait! Before you go all tantrum on us, Raph, I was able to read some of the emails before they started to delete.”
“What they say?” Rainbow asked.
“Something about a partnership and opening a portal to another world.”
“Another portal?” Donnie pondered.
“Could Baxter be helping bring back Krang Subprime?” Fluttershy feared.
“Kinda hard to after what happened to him in Gotham.” Applejack recalled.
“And that doesn’t look like your average everyday Krang portal.” Pinkie pointed.
Everyone looked to see a bright blue portal appearing above the interstate. From the Grand Central Station, Karai’s group saw it too. Emerging from the portal was a giant red beetle with scissor claws. The portal closes as the beetle roared and began attacking random cars.
“A beetle? WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE A BEETLE?” Raph shivered.
Leo frowned. “Sunset, call the Professor. See if he and Metalhead could get the Shellraiser and Party Wagon over-”
He was interrupted by honking below. They looked down to see Fugitoid and Metalhead merging from the Shellraiser and Party Wagon and looking up as Metalhead spoke. “Who is driving which vehicle?”
Soon, everyone climbed in the vehicles, with Leo driving the Shell Raiser and Raph in the Party Wagon, and both sped to the interstate. Along the way there, the vehicles stopped at an alley near Grand Central and picked up Karai and her group with Adagio changed back into her ninja apparel.
“So, any idea where this overgrown ladybug came from?” Karai asked in the Shellraiser as they approached the interstate.
“I’ve never seen anything like it before.” Fugitoid pondered.
“Don’t think it’s from Dimension X.” Mikey feared in the Party Wagon.
The beetle noticed the two vehicles facing it as they stop a mile away and started to stomp towards them.
Leo pulled his T-phone out. “On my mark, we blast it with everything we got!”
“Don’t have to ask me twice!” Raph answered.
Everyone sat still as the beetle stomped closer to them. Then Leo shouted.
“FIRE!”
But when they pushed the buttons, nothing fired. They kept trying, but everything was shut off.
“What the shell, Donnie? Did you forget to load everything?” Raph growled.
“I never had to! It’s Krang technology!” Donnie snapped back in the Shellraiser.
“There appears to be a magnetic disturburburburburburb-” Metalhead was spinning his head like crazy.
“What’s wrong with Metalhead?” Twilight asked.
“He mentioned something about a magnetic disturbance.” Donnie pondered before talking in his T-phone. “How’s Fugitoid?”
“He’s conscious, but he’s unable to move or respond.” Sunset checked her robot friend.
“Then the only thing we can do is RUN!” Leo cried.
The vehicles turned around and drive away as the beetle started to chase them. Then, the beetle roared and started to fly after them.
“Holy Chalupa! It can fly!” Mikey gasped.
Every time it got near; the beetle tried to attack the two vehicles only for the vehicles to barely dodge it.
“If it keeps following us, we’ll never be able to do anything to stop it!” Donnie feared.
“Luckily, we have an alternate way of attack.” Twilight stated as opened the side door and used her geode’s power to levitate cars at the beetle. Rarity joined in and threw diamond disks as well.
“Hey, Donnie, any chance the trash cannon up top still works?” Applejack asked as she climbed up to the roof.
“It’s not hi tech so it should be.” Donnie answered.
“Good to know!” AJ answered and began firing at the monster insect. Pinkie came up and poured her magic sprinkles in the cannon before Applejack fired again and shouted, “EAT SPRINKLES, YOU DUMB BEETLE!” As the trash cannon hit, there were multiple explosion disorienting the beetle. The beetle roared as it tried to regain its composure. After it did, it flew up and after the Shellraiser and Party Wagon.
“It’s getting closer!” cried Raph as they put the pedal to the metal. Just as the beetle was about to attack, another portal opened and swallowed the beetle and disappeared in a flash. Both vehicles came to a screeching halt.
“Uh Where’d it go?” Rainbow looked around.
“urburburburbence. Where did the target go?” Metalhead came back to his senses.
Fugitoid was able to move again when he detected something. “The police are on their way!”
“We’re outta here!” Leo ordered as they drove away before the police arrived at the scene.
“This is the closest picture of the monster that attacked the interstate hours ago.” Chang O’Brian was saying in the news that evening. “We’ll keep you posted as it develops.”
After encountering the giant beetle, The Ninjas and Rainbooms returned to the lair to recuperate while the Dazzlings went back to Foot Headquarters.
“At least they didn’t mention us.” Leo sighed, recalling the Muckman incident.
Meanwhile, Donnie was checking the weapons on the vehicles. “Everything should be working fine. How could everything just stop due to a magnetic disturbance?”
“Indeed. And I’ve dealt with many things in my travels in space, but this is new to me, I’m afraid.” Fugitoid shared.
“So much for our relaxing weekend.” Applejack sighed.
“I don’t know. Visiting other dimensions is one thing. But when another dimension visits you, that’s something else.” Sunset feared.
“Something tells me we’re gonna need backup.” Keno figured.
“I don’t know. Slash and the Mutanimals haven’t got back from their mission yet.” Raph sighed.
“And Bishop has his own matters Utrom wise to deal with right now.” Donnie added.
“So much for using the Kraang portal to ask our friends back home.” Twilight said bluntly.
“There’s gotta be somebody we can trust.” April pondered.
Just then, Karai got an idea. “Wait. I know someone who might be able to help. We met after I was free from the mind worm. He’s from out of town so he should be here tomorrow night.”
“He huh? Your new boyfriend, Karai?” Casey laughed until April punched his arm.
Karai just glared at him. “Real funny, Jones. He already has a girlfriend. But more to the point, he’s a skilled fighter.”
“I’d believe it when I see it.” Raph stated.
“You’ll get your proof, Raph. But first, I have to call him. And like I said, it’ll take him until tomorrow to get here. Plus, Shini and I need to brief the Dazzlings on what we’re doing. So in the meantime, I suggest you guys get some rest.”
“Agreed.” Leo said.
“Casey and I need to get home too.” April added.
“I wouldn’t mind a little shut eye myself.” Keno yawned.
“And we should check into our hotel as well.” Rarity pointed out as the girls agreed.
“Meet us at 11th and Bleeker tomorrow.” Karai stated as they all headed out.
In an abandoned warehouse, someone monitored the encounter with the red beetle. It was Baxter Stockman. He chuckled as he watched the Ninjas and Rainbooms struggling and running against it. “And this is only the beginning, my friends.” Behind him appeared two figures in the shadows. One was a male and the other was a female.
“I trust this means your dimensional gizmo is finished?” the female asked sounding impatient.
“Yes. And I assure you I’ll have the mutagen machine by sundown tomorrow.”
The male nodded. “Very well.” He snapped his fingers as the shadowy figure Adagio was trailing came up with a briefcase and opened it, revealing dollar bills, and passed it to Stockman. “Your payment is delivered as promised.”
However, as the shadowy figure walked away, the male pointed to Stockman. “But keep in mind, if you’re doing this to stall for time, my patience is very limited. You have until sundown.” Then the male aimed his arm away and, glowing yellow, produced a portal. He then turned to the female. “Come, my love, let us leave the Doctor to his work.” The female chuckled as she took the male’s hand and the two enter the portal before it closed behind them.
“He’s threatening, but at least he’s nicer than Shredder.” Baxter thought as he began his work.
Meanwhile, in the park, another portal opened. This time, a boy came through. He had brown spikey hair and wore goggles, a jacket with flame designs, tan shorts, orange shoes, and yellow gloves. He was joined by a small blue dragon with a white belly and a yellow V on his forehead. The boy looked around and turned to the portal and waved for something.
Five other kids emerged from the portal following the spikey haired boy and the blue dragon. One was a girl with purple hair with glasses, a vest over a long sleeve blue shirt, red pants, and a helmet and she was joined by a hawk with a headband and a feather. The youngest was a boy with a tan sweater and brown pants with a yellow armadillo with a tough shell. Next was a boy in a yellow and green sweater, green sweater, a white hat, and an orange winged creature on his head. There was a girl with short brown hair in a pink and white shirt, pink gloves, yellow shorts, and wore a camera around her neck and was joined by a white cat with striped gloves. And finally, there was a boy with blue hair in a grey uniform with a big green worm.
“So, this is the place?” said the spiked haired boy.
“According to Izzy’s calculations, this is where the random portals lead to.” The purple haired girl stated.
“Are we in New York?” the young boy looked around.
“Looks that way, Cody.” The boy in yellow answered.
“We must be in an alternate reality. Something feels different.” The girl in pink stated.
“I feel different.” The cat added.
“I still need a nap.” The armadillo yawned.
“I’m afraid there’s no time for a nap, Armadillomon.” The hawk shook his head.
“We have to stop whatever’s causing the portals before any Digimon terrorize this world.” The blue haired boy added.
“Ken’s right! What’s the plan, Davis?” the blue dragon asked.
Unknown to them, in a bunker under the city, a green skinned guy in a magenta robe and with a speaker over his mouth came up to the shadowed female on her throne.
“Your highness, sensors indicate a portal opened in a part downtown New York.” He reported.
“Were they Digimon?” the female asked.
“Not sure.”
“Send a small group of Gem Knights to investigate.” She ordered.
“By your command.” The servant said before leaving to carry out her order.

On top of a building, Karai and Shinigami wait for their ninja friends and the Rainbooms before seeing them arrive.
“We’re here!” Mikey cried before slipping and sliding near Shini. “Did you miss me?”
Shini couldn’t help but chuckle. “Never miss a laugh with you, Michelangelo.”
“Sorry we’re late.” Leo apologized to Karai.
“Not late at all, Leo.” Karai smiled.
“Would’ve been her sooner if Rarity didn’t take forever on deciding what to wear.” Grumbled Rainbow Dash.
“Well, you know I like to make a good impression when I meet new people, Rainbow Dash!” Rarity huffed.
Sunset got between them. “Okay. That’s enough.”
“So, where’s your friend?” Raph looked around.
“He should be here any minute. Also, he’s bringing some friends as well.” The ninja girl said.
April felt her head, getting a vibe. “That must be them.” She smiled as a cable caught the roof.
They all looked to see on a building a bit away were four figures hooking to the cable and zip lining to their location. As they landed, they stepped out of the shadows revealing themselves. The first figure wore a red shirt with a star insignia with the initials S, H, and B in it, black pants, a white and yellow utility belt, white boots with thrusters on the back, a white cape, and a white mask with a red triangle in the middle.
The second one was a younger boy who resembled the first guy only wearing ski goggles and a blue shirt with green short sleeves. He wore green fingerless glove with computerized gauntlets, black pants, and blue metal boots. He wore a yellow belt with a shoulder strap with a katana sword on his back with a 'G' for a belt buckle. There was a yellow G on his left side of his shirt.
Next was a teenage girl with black hair. Her shirt was warm pink with a diamond insignia with the initials 'S, H, and G. She wore bright pink gloves, mint green pants with a yellow belt, white knee-high boots, and a yellow cape. On her eyes was a red mask.
And finally, was the tallest of them all. He wore a battlesuit over a blue suit. The helmet had a visor covering his eyes. The blasters were shaped like hearts and on the chest piece was an insignia with a heart with a star implosion behind it.
“Nice entrance.” Pinkie smiled.
“Thanks.” Smiled the red shirt guy who then turned to Karai. “Hey Karai. Long time no see.”
Karai walked over to the first figure. “Everyone, I’d like you to meet my friend, Shine Boy.”
Rainbow gasped. “THE Shine Boy?! I heard all about you!”
“It’s nice to meet you all.” Shine Boy smiled.
Leo walked up to Shine Boy and they shook hands. “It’s nice to meet you. My name is Leonardo, and these are my brothers, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. And these are our friends, April O’Neil, Casey Jones, and Keno.”
“This is my good friend, Shinigami” Karai introduced her friend.
“We’re the Rainbooms. I’m Sunset Shimmer, and this is Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy. And this Professor Honeycutt, AKA Fugitoid.”
“And This is Spike.” Twilight held up her dog.
“Allow me to introduce my team.” Shine Boy smiled as he pointed to the young one. "This is my younger brother, Gamer."
"Pleased to make your aquaintances." Gamer greeted before taking a good look at the Turtles. “Wow! Humanoid Turtles!”
Shine Boy then pointed to the girl. "This is Shine Girl."
"Hello there." waved Shine Girl.
"And finally, Love Shine." Shine Boy waved to the big guy.
"Hi." Love Shine smiled.
“Love Shine? Lamest name ever!” Raph teased before Love Shine flipped him on his shell.
“You’re not the first to make fun of my name. Those who do get a little tough love!”
“Noted.” Groaned Raph.
“What a man!” sighed Rarity.
As Applejack helped Raph up, Shine Boy began to get serious. “Karai briefed me on what’s going on and I saw it on the news last night.”
“A giant beetle. A series of electrical disturbances. It is logical they’re connected” Gamer theorized.
“We were thinking the same thing.” Donnie smiled.
“And you believe this Baxter Stockman is behind this?” guessed Shine Girl who was petting Spike.
“Affirmative.” Twilight declared.
“Let’s bring them to the lair, get acquainted with each other, and find a way to stop Stockman.” Leo said.
“Normally, I’d be against inviting strangers to our lair, but I really wanna see if they’re as good as Karai claims.” Raph grinned.
Everyone was ready to leave when April clenched her head.
“What’s wrong with April?” Shine Girl asked.
“She senses something. What’s up, April?” Donnie walked up to her.
“I sense a lot of them nearby. They’re really close.” April said.
“I think Pinkie and I found them.” Mikey pointed where he and Pinkie were looking. They all looked to see a bunch of kids watching these monsters fighting these black knights covered in armor with scepters.
One was a humanoid blue dragon with flame armor and claws. Another was a yellow armored creature with drills for fingers and a nose. One was a samurai with shruiken on his arm and legs. Another was a Pegasus. He was joined by a winged Egyptian like cat. Finally, there was a humanoid dragon fly with blades on his arms.
“I’m picking up another electrical surge. It’s not as bad as last night. It’s coming from those creatures down there.” Fugitoid scanned.
“Who are they fighting?” Casey wondered.
“Gem Knights.” Everyone looked at Shine Boy. “They are soldiers of Princess Lewej, one of our greatest enemies.”
“Do you think Lewej and Ripley are helping this Stockman guy?” Gamer theorized.
“It’s a possibility.” Shine Boy pondered.
“Something tells me those kids know something about what’s going on with that giant beetle and these electric surges.” Applejack stated.
“You maybe right.” Sunset agreed.
As they continued to observe, they noticed the Gem Knights starting to overwhelm the kids. Two of them seized the purple haired girl.
“Let me go, you rust buckets!” she struggled.
“Yolei!” her friends cried.
“Someone help!”
“Hang on, Yolei!” The samurai tried to reach her only for more Gem Knights to block him. Soon, the kids were starting to be seized.
“I think that’s our cue!” Rainbow said.
“I agree!” Shine Boy pulled out his staff before turning to Raph. “Looks like you get see us action now.”
“Funny. I was gonna say the same thing.” Raph smirked as he pulled out his sais.
As everyone else pulled out their weapons, Gamer said, “Gem Knights are nothing but empty shells. So, you know, go nuts.”
“Ninjas! Take’em down!” Leo cried.
They all jumped down to the scene. Donnie and April tag teamed on the Gem Knights who seized Yolei. After they released her, Yolei looked at Donnie and shrieked a little and started to crawl away before April placed her hand on her shoulder.
“It’s okay. He’s a good guy!” she said.
“We’re here to help.” Donnie added.
Yolei calmed down and nodded. But she noticed a Gem Knight was sneaking up behind them. But before she said anything…..
“Double Star!”
Two shruikens hit the Gem Knight, knocking him out. The samurai walked up to the trio.
“Thank you for helping Yolei.”
“Our pleasure.” April smiled while Donnie nodded.
Meanwhile, Casey and Rainbow tagged team against a couple Gem Knights by Rainbow zipping by, disarming them while Casey tazed them out cold. Rainbow walked up to the spike haired kid and helped him up as he pretended to act tough.
“I appreciate the help, but I was really stalling them long enough for my pal, Flamedramon, here.” He pointed to the humanoid dragon who sighed.
“Sure you were” Rainbow rolled her eyes.
Flamedramon spoke. “Don’t take it the wrong way. That’s Davis’ way of saying thank you.”
“I see” Casey answered. “You look awesome.”
“Thanks. You guys are pretty awesome yourselves.”
“Yeah we are.” Rainbow agreed.
The young boy had a stick and was fighting the Gem Knights like it was a sword. But even that wasn’t enough to keep them back. Before they grabbed him, a photon blade impaled them as Love Shine tossed them aside before helping the kid up.
“You’re a skilled kid.” He smiled.
“Thank you for assisting me.” The boy bowed as the armored creature came up.
“Don’t look now, but here come some more.”
“I got’em!” Applejack used her strength an tossed the Diamond Knights aside.
“Booyakasha!” Mikey and Pinkie shouted as they plus Shine Girl and Shinigami helped the boy with the hat and the girl in pink by the Pegasus and winged cat. As Mikey, Pinkie, and Shini used their chains to wrap up the Gem Knights, Shine Girl used her steel baton and knocked them silly as Fluttershy checked on the two.
“Are you alright?” she asked as she helped them up.
“I think we are. Thank you.” The girl smiled.
“I think it’s our turn to wrap things up.” The Pegasus joked as he and the cat flew side by side.
“Golden noose!” They cried as a golden rope appeared and wrapped up some Gem Knights.
“Nicely done.” Mikey grinned.
“Thanks” the boy grinned. “By the way, what’s a Booyakasha?”
Mikey blinked before answering. “Just something fun to say.”
Meanwhile, Shine Boy battled more Gem Knights with his staff before spin kicking them away. Raph watched as he punched more Gem Knights. Meanwhile, Gamer tagged teamed with Karai as they battled with their swords.
“Make sure your legs are firm on the ground. Don’t lead with your shoulders.” Karai schooled the young fighter.
Gamer nodded and took her advice. Meanwhile, Sunset and Leo helped the blue haired boy up as the humanoid dragonfly flew to them. As two Gem Knights charged at them, Fugitoid stood before them and caught them in a net and shocked them. Keno knocked out a couple more nearby as Twilight covered him.
“Are you alright, Ken?” The dragonfly asked.
“Yeah, I think so, Stingmon.” The boy answered. “Thank you. But who are you guys?”
“It’s okay. We’re friends.” Sunset assured him.
At last, the Gem Knights were all defeated. They all fell apart as their parts disappeared. With the enemy defeated, the creatures glew and shrunk into their previous forms, which surprised the group. The kids were equally surprised, especially with the Turtles. At last, the girl in pink spoke.
“Thanks for helping us.”
“It’s what we do.” Grinned Casey.
Fluttershy knelt closely at the creatures. “Who are your friends?”
The kids looked at each other and nodded as Davis spoke. “They’re called Digimon.”
“Digi- what now?” Donnie raised a brow.
“Digimon. Short for ‘Digital Monsters’.” Yolei pointed out.
“Sounds like a franchise.” Rainbow thought out loud.
Mikey spoke up. “Oh! Oh! Maybe they’ll have their own action figures. Or storybooks. Or better yet, a trading card game!”
Everyone looked at him awkwardly as Raph smacked him upside the head.
“These guys are on our side. My name is Davis sand this’s my partner, Veemon.”
“I’m Yolei and this is Hawkmon.”
“My name is Cody, and this is Armadillomon.”
“Friends call me T.K. and friends call him Patamon.”
“My name is Kari and here’s Gatomon.”
“I’m Ken and this is friend, Wormmon.”
Fluttershy started to hug Armadillomon and Veemon. “They’re so cute!”
“She seems to like us.” Armadillomon sighed.
“I ain’t complaining.” Veemon smiled, enjoying the hug.
“So, who are you guys?” Davis asked.
“I’m Sunset Shimmer and this is Twilight Sparkle, her dog, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and the one hugging your Digimon is Fluttershy.”
Fluttershy heard and put the two down. “Sorry.”
“You’re fine.” Veemon smiled.
“I’m April O’Neil and this is Casey Jones, Karai, Shinigami, and Keno.”
“I am Professor Honeycutt. But you can call me Fugitoid.”
“My name is Leonardo, and these are my brothers. Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo.”
“You guys Italian?” asked Yolei.
“Our father had a thing for Renaissance art.” Donnie explained.
“I’m Shine Boy and this is Gamer, Love Shine, and Shine Girl.”
“It’s nice to meet you all.” T.K. smiled. “You wouldn’t happen to know those knights we just fought, do you?”
Shine Boy stepped up. “They’re called Gem Knights. And they’re bad news. We better get to somewhere safe before they bring backup.”
“We can explain everything, but we’ll need to to our lair.” Leo added.
“Well let’s go.” Yolei smiled.

“Absolutely not!” Her smile turned to a frown when they hurried to a manhole cover and Applejack removed the lid.
“We told you we live in a sewer.” Donnie reminded her.
“I’m not going down there.” Yolei refused while the others began following Fugitoid down.
“Yolei, we’re gonna need these guys’ help with what’s going on.” Ken tried to reason with her.
“I felt the same way. It’s not so bad once you get past the smell.” Rarity added.
“You wanna take your chances against the Gem Knights?” Gamer trolled her.
Seeing she was beat, Yolei sighed. “Okay! I’ll do it! This better be good!”
As they all went down and Shine Boy covered the lid, No one realized a Gem Knight watching them from a corner before disappearing.
The Gem Knight showed the vision of Shine Boy to the female, who was Princess Lewej. She was a young adult with red bushy hair wearing magenta with cloths attached to her arms and back and a tiara with a jeweled mantle and jeweled belt and red slippers. A crystalled orb followed her while she paced angrily.
“How did he get here so soon?” she growled.
“It matters not, dear Lewej.” The male walked out of the shadows, revealing to be another young adult wearing a blue top and black pants, a gold crown with seven diagems that covered his eyes, a red cape attached to a gold shoulder pad and a white vee chest plate, and white boots.
“Once Stockman finishes his machine, the odds will be in our favor.” He held up a glass container containing a dark piece of data.

Meanwhile, after tracking through the sewers, and hearing Yolei’s griping, The Turtles, their allies, and Rainbooms led Team Shine and Digidestined to the lair. The Digidestined looked around in awe.
“Okay. This is much better.” Yolei sighed.
“Welcome to our crib!” Mikey announced.
“Looks like a cool place.” Davis grinned.
“Impressive.” Shine Boy smiled.
“This is wonderful.” Shine Girl whispered.
“We’ll show you all around later.” Sunset said.
“Yeah. We have a few questions.” Rainbow stated.
“A few acquisitions.” Twilight added.
“Yeah! A few……” Pinkie pondered a bit. “We’ll give guys a tour later.”
“Follow us to the dojo.” Leo said. “it’s best we explain ourselves.”
Everyone entered the dojo as they all sat down in their respective groups. The Turtles explained their origin story to Team Shine and the Digidestined from the story of their father, Hamato Yoshi, to their mutation to their many adventures. The Rainbooms then tell of Equestria and Sunset’s beginning to their adventures with the Turtles. After they were done, the groups were surprised.
“So, you guys were once ordinary turtles mutated by ooze?” Davis asked.
“The technical term is mutagen.” Donnie corrected him.
“And that stuff came from an alien race called the Kraang?” T.K. continued.
“Who actually conquered the city?” Shine Girl gasped.
“So, the tabloid reports were true.” Shine Boy pondered.
“And The Triceraton Invasion.” Pinkie added.
“Amazing.” Cody gasped.
“Fascinating.” Gamer added.
"And we are so sorry about your father, Master Splinter." Kari bowed.
"Thank you. That really means a lot to all of us." Leo smiled.
“And this Equestria has talking ponies?” Yolei asked.
“Other creatures as well, but yeah a majority of them are ponies.” Sunset stated.
“And this Magic from it made Spike here talk?” Kari mentioned the dog she was petting and Gatomon was friending him.
“Pretty much.” Spike confirmed, enjoying his new friends as he was befriending the other Digimon as well.
“Sounds peaceful,” Gamer stated before adding, “Minus the threats you mentioned.”
“But with great allies.” Karai included.
“Maybe we could visit it someday.” Yolei smiled.
“We should introduce you to our friend, Blade Swipe” Mikey smiled.
“So now you guys know about us, What’s up with these Digimon?” Raph questioned the Digidestined.
“Fascinating creatures.” Gamer analyzed the Digimon with his goggles.
“I couldn’t agree more.” Fugitoid smiled.
“It’s best I explain first.” T.K. took a deep breath and began to speak.
It began three years back home when a group of kids went to camp. I was the youngest and the group included my older brother, Matt, and Kari’s older brother, Tai. When it snowed, a weird light came and from it emerged these devices we now call Digivices. He held up his little device and showed the groups before continuing their story. Then we were transported into what we now called The Digital World. There we met our partner Digimon and learned we were chosen to be a group of heroes called The Digidestined because we can have our partners change forms, or what we now call Digivolve, and to save The Digital World from evil Digimon. As the danger got tougher, we gained tags and crests to make our Digimon stronger. We then learned from our guide, an old guy named Gennai, we learned there was an eighth child to join us.
Kari continued. That’s where I come in. You see, I was sick, so I couldn’t go to camp. The villain at the time, Myotismon, came to our world searching for the eighth child. Then, I met Gatomon here, who at the time was working for Myotismon.
When I met Kari, I couldn’t really bring myself to harm her. As I wondered why, my friend Wizardmon made remember who I was. I was waiting for Kari, who was the eighth child, and together we beat Myotismon. But, not before losing Wizardmon. Gatomon sniffled, remembering her old friend. Pinkie and Mikey couldn’t help but bawl feeling sorry for her.
"He must have been a good friend." Shine Boy smiled.
"He was the only friend I had before I met Kari." Kari petted Gatomon to soothe her pain.
T.K. picked up from there. After we defeated Myotismon, we saw the digital world upside down in the sky and realized both our worlds were in crisis together. We knew we had to go back to the Digital World. When we did return, we faced four powerful Digimon who called themselves The Dark Masters. It was a tough struggle, but we managed to band together and defeated them. But shortly after, we faced the shadow of Digimon- Apocalymon. During the battle, he destroyed our tags and crests to make us fall into depression. But we realized our hearts were the real crests and managed to defeat Apocalymon and saved our worlds. But we had to leave to our world and the Digimon had to stay in the Digital World so we had to say goodbye. Until three years later.
Everyone looked to see Mikey texting on his T phone.
“Dude! Seriously?” Gamer grilled him.
“I was just texting Juniper Montage.” Mikey grinned.
“And that’s more important why?” Sunset raised a brow.
“Actually, I was texting her their story.” Mikey saw their faces. “What? It would so make a good movie!”
Meanwhile, Juniper looked at her phone. “Interesting concept. But what’s a Digimon?”
Back in the dojo, Raph snagged Mikey’s T-phone and smacked him upside the head. He then took a deep breath before turning to the Digidestined. “So what happened three years later?”
Davis decided to continue. The Digital World was being conquered by a jerk called The Digimon Emperor. He used these dark rings to control Digimon under his rule and his dark towers, also known as Control Spires, prevented our Digimon from Digivolving. When Tai went back, he discovered a Digi egg with a spike on it. He tried to pick it up, but it resulted in three lights emerging. Izzy, T.K, and Kari were about to enter the Digi port to help Tai when the lights went through, turning into Digivices for me, Yolei, and Cody here. While Izzy explained everything to Yolei and Cody, I followed T.K. and Kari into the Digital World where the others reunited with their Digimon partners. I met Veemon when I lifted the weird egg, revealing it to be an armor Digi egg, allowing him to Armor Digivolve into Flamedramon, the form you guys saw earlier.
Cody and I had to wait until the next day to visit The Digital World. After a close call, we found other Armor Digi eggs that Cody and I were able to lift and That’s how we met our partner Digimon. T.K and Kari were able find their own Armor Digi eggs and were able to help us. Even the older Digidestined gave us guidance and advice in our toughest of times, especially when the Digimon Emperor abandoned his normal life and hid in the Digital World. Yolei continued while looking towards Ken, who showed guilt on his face.
“That. Big. MEANIE!” Fluttershy growled.
“Was he that intelligent?” asked Donnie.
“He was. In fact, he created his own Digimon in our final battle.” Cody answered while looking worried towards Ken, which April noticed.
“Too bad we don’t know him. I’d give him a piece of my mind!” Raph punched his fists together.
“What did happen to him, anyway?” Shini asked.
The Digidestined looked at Ken, who took a deep breath as he petted Wormmon, who hugged him in worrying. “There’s no other way to say this. The Digimon Emperor……….. was me.”
Everyone gasped hearing that as Ken continued. “Before you give me a piece of your mind, Raphael, just please hear me out.”
When I was young, I had an older brother named Sam. Sam was a genius in the family. But there were times when I was jealous of him. One day, a Digivice came through Sam’s computer. As a precaution, Sam put it in his drawer and told me not to touch it. But I was too drawn to it and it took me to the Digital World. But when I got, Sam got mad at me for disobeying him. I was so mad I wished he’d disappear. One day, he did. He was in a car accident. He never made it. Shortly after I received an email, telling me to use the Digivice to go to the Digital World to escape my pain. What I didn’t know was I went to a place called the Dark Ocean which slowly corrupted me until I became the Digimon Emperor and began my reign. To me, I was thinking it was all a video game. I was also known as boy genius. While I seem to be your everyday genius celebrity, I felt that everyone was beneath me, including my own partner Wormmon, and I eventually fled to the Digital World when the Digidestined discovered my secret. In an attempt to win, I created my own Digimon called Kimeramon. But I was beginning to lose it as a voice was telling me to repent from darkness. It was only when Wormmon sacrificed himself to help Veemon, as Magnamon, defeat Kimeramon that I opened my eyes and realized what I done. After some time alone to get my life straight, I returned to the Digital World to find Wormmon rejuvenated and together we worked together to redeem myself.
As everyone smiled, Fluttershy put her hands over her mouth. “I’m so sorry!”
“I’m sorry, too.” Raph sighed.
“It’s okay. I’ve learned to live with it and I’m just glad to have friends who’ve forgiven me.” Ken smiled.
“It wasn’t easy at first, but Ken has really helped us in the past.” Cody added.
“Well, Ken, you now have friends who understand your pain.” Sunset motioned to herself, Twilight, April, Fugitoid, and Karai while thinking about Starlight Glimmer and Blade Swipe.
“Thank you. All of you.”
Shine Boy nodded in agreement. “I suppose it’s our turn to share.” He then took his mask off revealing his face.
Mikey gasped. “It’s you! I knew it!” he turned to the others in confusion. “Who is he?”
My name is Tony Bedding. When I was young, I was very shy. No one thought I would get far in life. As I got older, I wanted to make a difference in life. Then I was found by the legendary hero Zion who trained me in combat. He taught me everything I know about honor, determination, and faith. After I completed my training, I made this outfit with the help of a friend of mine so I can put my training to good use as Shine Boy
Gamer, Shine Girl, and Love Shine then took off their goggles, mask, and helmet as they share their stories. Rarity looked dreamily to Love Shine.
Gamer continued. I’m Tony’s younger brother, Michael. I always felt like a misfit in my class, what with my unique genius. Tony always gave me advice. Shortly after learning Tony was Shine Boy, I wanted to help my brother, so my mom helped me make a costume. As the brains of Team Shine, I prefer to use logic to solve conflicts. My ski goggles have a built-in computer inside to show every situation’s outcome and result. I invent new gadgets for the team in such situations. I’m also an expert in robotics, whether it’s too disassemble or to create, and hope to create a robot of my own someday.
“I like him already.” Donnie whispered to April.
“Me too.” Twilight agreed.
Love Shine spoke next. I’m Brandon Rohl. When a spaceship crashed in my backyard, I investigated and found the alien. With his dying breath, he asked me not to let his prototype power suit fall in the wrong hands. I promised and gives the alien a proper burial, Then gave the suit a little makeover and devotes to fight the good fight as Love Shine. After starting out as rivals then working together, Shine Boy and Love Shine become partners in fighting crime. My armor enhances his strength, speed, and stamina.
“Something about your armor sounds familiar.” Pondered Fugitoid. “No mind. Let us continue.”
And finally, Shine Girl began her story. And My name is Kyla Parks. I was inspired by Shine Boy and became Shine Girl in hopes to work alongside him. After many attempts failed, I proved herself and became the heart of Team Shine. But just because I’m always optimistic and kind doesn’t mean I’m a complete softy. Should someone mess with anyone, especially my friends, I’ll give them the what for. With this! my own baton is made of pure steel but still light enough to lift.
“I think it’s great you four are a team.” Sunset complimented.
“Now that we know each other, could we know about those Gem Knights we fought earlier?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“I wanna know too.” Davis agreed.
Shine Boy nodded. “The Gem Knight serve their ruler, Princess Lewej. Spoiled, she had become obsessed with diamonds and jewels. Her obsession led her to Earth, crossing paths with us. She’s always accompanied by her favorite diamond, capable of allowing her to manipulate lightning, if it wasn’t for Shine Girl, Lewej would have beaten both me and Love Shine.”
“We found out my battlesuit was for Lewej to increase her army’s strength. The creator of the suit was trying to keep it from her hands only to get attacked before crashing to Earth.” Love Shine added.
“So that’s why he asked you to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.” Applejack figured.
“You wouldn’t happen to catch his name, did you?” Fugitoid asked.
“Afraid not.” Love Shine sighed.
“Why do you ask, Professor?” Sunset asked.
“I remember a colleague of mine long before I was the Fugitoid who was offering a job with Lewej with hopes to benefit the universe. After I became a robot, I learned about how dangerous she is along with one called Ripley.”
“You know him too?” Gamer perked up.
“Who’s this Ripley, yo?” Casey curiously asked.
“Ripley is the nephew of one of our toughest foes, the Chaos Mage. He has come from his conquest of the South Galaxy to challenge us. He sees me as a worthy opponent. With powerful energy attacks and enhanced strength, He’s as worse as his uncle.” Shine Boy explained.
“And it has been recently known that the two are……dating.” Gamer added.
“Oh dear! If Lewej and Ripley are helping Dr. Stockman, we might be in a pickle.” Fugitoid gulped.
“Is it possible they are behind the random portals to The Digital World?” Yolei wondered.
“I bet they are. In fact, we had trouble with a giant red beetle with scissor pinchers.” Raph huffed.
“That sounds like Kuwagamon!” Kari gasped.
“Ku-wack-amon?” Rainbow asked.
“I think she said Ku-lack-amon.” Keno tried.
“It sounded more like Ku-nak-amon.” Casey boasted.
T.K. corrected them. “It’s pronounced Kuwagamon. He was one of the first Digimon we ever fought.”
Shine Boy stood up. “I think we all agree on the same thing.” He pointed to the Digidestined. “They know about these Digimon.” He then pointed to himself and his team. “We know about Lewej and Ripley.” He pointed to the Ninjas and the Rainbooms. “And you all know about this Stockman guy. I think it’s obvious if we work together, we can save our worlds.”
“Funny. I believe we were thinking the same thing.” Sunset smiled as she, Leo, and Karai stood up as well.
“All in favor?” Leo asked.
“Aye!” Everyone shouted.
“It’s official. The ayes have it.” Karai grinned as she, Sunset, Leo, and Shine Boy put their hands in together.
Though Davis stood up, he had a concerned face. “it’s just those Gem Knights aren’t afraid to attack us or worse.”
“I think we can fix that.” Leo grinned. “We may not be able to train you six as ninjas, but we can still give you a little training while we work with Team Shine.”
Davis turned to his friends. “Whatya guys think?”
“It might be the best option for us.” Ken decided.
“I’m in!” Yolei grinned.
“Me too.” Kari agreed.
“I know Kendo. My grandfather teaches it to me.” Cody pointed out.
“We almost lost to the Gem Knights. So if we can at least defend ourselves if we’re separated from our Digimon, it could help a lot.” T.K. decided.
Davis nodded. “Then we’re all aboard!”
Everyone cheered knowing their alliance is official.

Meanwhile, In his lab, Baxter just finished his mutating machine.
“Done!” he smirked then saw a gold ring appeared. “And just in time.”
Emerging from the ring were Ripley and Lewej.
“I trust this means your machine is ready, Doctor?” Ripley asked.
Ripley answered by holding up his container with the dark data piece.
“Excellent.” Baxter smiled as he grabbed a case with canisters of mutagen and pulled a canister. “Mutagen I’ve salvaged all this time. Though I could not duplicate my mutation.”
“Yes.” Ripley looked in awe at the substance.
“So this is the so called mutagen of the Kraang?” Lewej asked.
Ripley nodded as he connected his container at the center of Baxter’s machine. “Kraang Prime will rule the day he denied my offer for an alliance.”
“And all we have to do is install the canister here.” Baxter added as he connected the canister to a holster. “And press go.” He then pushed the button.
The three then watched as the machine drained the mutagen and the mutagen poured on the piece of data, which started to grow bigger.
Ripley, Lewej, and Stockman watched as the piece of data began to grow and take shape. Soon, the figure emerged from the now shattered jar, revealing a tall figure in black. He had long arms with horns on his head and tattered wings on his back. On his chest was an insignia resembling a bat. The figure stood as he gave a yawn and stretched. He then began to look all over himself then began to laugh evilly realizing he was alive again.
“Tremble, pitiful beings! I, Devimon, have returned.” He boasted.
Ripley walked up to the newcomer. “I am Ripley, nephew of the Chaos Mage, conqueror of worlds! Allow me to be the first to welcome you, Devimon.”
“I assume I owe you for my recent resurrection?”
“Dr. Stockman and I are the ones who brought you back.” Ripley gestured to Baxter Stockman, who smirked.
“What do you wish from me in return?”
Ripley grinned. “The destruction of our enemies!”

The next day, in the dojo, The Turtles, their allies, the Rainbooms, and Team Shine stood before The Digidestined.
“Are you six ready?” Leo asked.
“Ready, willing, and able.” Davis nodded.
“Then let the training begin!” Twilight declared.
The groups taught the Digidestined the basics of ninja training, starting with hand to hand moves. Team Shine even shared their knowledge of combat as well while Spike and the Digimon watched from the side. After a couple hours, The Turtles decided to have them try using ninja weapons. Donnie lent T.K. his bo staff as Shine Boy showed him how to twirl the staff. After taking it slow, T.K. started to spin it faster and faster and seemed to have it down before he turned around to notice the staff out of his hand, narrowingly missing Rainbow Dash. Davis was able to convince the heroes to use the nunchucks as Mikey showed him some moves, which resulted in Davis hitting himself in the face as the Digimon winced. Leo practiced sword play one on one with Cody. Yolei practiced with a kurisama chain and tried some tips from Shinigami. April lent her tessen to Kari and showed her ways to move. When Pinkie tried to lend Ken her Kurisama weapon, Ken couldn’t accept it because it reminded him of the whip he used as The Digimon Emperor, so Raph pulled out some tonfas for Ken and showed him some stands with them. Overall, despite still needing to learn more, they all saw The Digidestined were making progress.
After letting the Digidestined take a breather, The Ninjas and Rainbooms sparred with Team Shine. Shine Boy put up a good fight against Leonardo with his staff only to be side kicked down.
“Your Sensei has taught you well.” Shine Boy complimented as Leo helped him up.
“Thanks. You’re as good as Karai told us.” Leo smiled back.
Next, Gamer sparred against Sunset and Twilight and was surprisingly good. Despite getting disarmed a lot, he was able to outsmart both, reclaimed his sword, and defeated them by deflecting Sunset’s kunai to knock Twilight out and hit Sunset in the stomach with the hilt of his sword.
“Just as I calculated.” He grinned as he sheathed his sword.
“I noticed he uses his head in combat.” Karai whispered to Shine Boy.
“He prefers head over brawn. We’ve been working on him keeping his sword in hand.” Shine Boy explained.
"Still, pretty impressive." The ninja girl smiled
Shine Girl went up against Mikey and Applejack and proven to be formidable, despite losing due to Mikey’s trickery and Applejack’s strength. Then Raph faced Love Shine.
“Why don’t we make this interesting?” Love Shine said.
“How’s that?” Raph raised his brow.
Love Shine responded by removing his helmet, chest piece, and heart shields.
“I take you on without my armor.” He offered.
“Alright. Let’s see how you fight without your little get up.” Raph smirked as he pulled out his sais.
As it turned out as they fought, Love Shine was very strong for Raph. As he kept being knocked down. With every knock down, Raph got angrier. But Love Shine was still able to knock him down.
Seeing his brother getting angrier by the moment, Leo called out, “Yamei!”
“Say what now?” Love Shine raised a brow.
“He means the match is over.” Sunset explained.
“Water?” Rarity offered a bottle of water to Love Shine.
But as Love Shine was accepting the bottle, Raph gets up and charges at him screaming. Luckily, Love Shine grabbed him and pinned him to the ground. Raph struggled to break free, but to no avail.
“Are you done? If I let you go, you won’t fight back?” Love Shine asked sternly.
Raph sighed. “Fine. You win.”
As Love Shine released Raph, Mikey, Casey, and Davis all laughed.
“You got beat bad, Raph!” chuckled Casey.
“He got owned!” Mikey laughed.
“Does this happen to him a lot?” Asked Davis through laughs.
“it does. And so does THIS!”
Raph then tossed the three on their backs.
After he put his armor back on, Love Shine held his hand out to Raph. “No hard feelings?”
Raph, after glaring a bit, accepted Love Shine’s hand. “For now.” And he huffed away.
“Is he always this sore when he loses?” Love Shine asked the others.
“Don’t take it hard. He has anger issues. He’s really nice once you get to know him.” Fluttershy assured.
After the sparring, Sunset led The Digidestined in some moves as Shine Boy helped fixed anyone’s pose.
Leo then walked up. “Okay, everyone! Take five!”
“Pizza’s ready!” Mikey popped up.
“Alright!” Davis cheered.
“I’m Starving.” Veemon added.
As they left the dojo, Leo high fived them as he, Sunset, and Shine Boy smiled at each other as Shine Boy mentions. “You gotta admit, they have potential.”
“Agreed.” Sunset added. “At least they’re better than the alternate turtles.”
“The only one I’m concerned about is Davis.” Leo stated. “He’s more egotistic than Rainbow Dash.”
“I’m sure as we continue to train them, he’ll get better.” Shine Boy pointed out.
“You’re probably right.” Leo smiled as they all headed to the kitchen area.

Everybody gathered in the kitchen area, seeing that Keno and Mikey were making enough pizzas for everyone. As they took slices and ate, they continued to know each other.
“These are some yummy pizzas, Keno, you and Mikey did great on these.” Armadillomon smiled.
“Thanks, Armadillomon. It has been a while since I actually cooked pizzas instead of delivering them.” Keno grinned as he ate his slice.
“Yummy!” Veemon complimented.
“Don’t you guys ever get tired of this a lot?” Shine Girl asked.
“Best human food we ever had!” Mikey cheered.
"Dare I ask what you had before that?" Yolei raised a brow.
"You.... really don't want to know." Rarity convinced.
“Hey Davis. Could you get some ice?” Shine Boy was pouring sodas in cups.
“I got it.” As Davis opens the fridge, two paws hand him a tray of ice cubes. “Thanks.” After closing the door and handing the tray to Shine Boy, Davis realized what he just saw and opened the fridge again to see a certain cool cat. “Huh? What the heck?”
“Oh that’s Michelangelo’s pet Ice Cream Kitty.” Shinigami answered.
“Meow.”
“Aw! She’s so cute.” Kari smiled.
“She’s really nice once you get to know her.” Fluttershy added as she tickled Ice Cream Kitty by the chin while she purred.
"Come on, Ice Cream Kitty. come out and say hi to everyone." Mikey put Ice Cream Kitty in a bowl and set her on the table so she could meet everyone. Gatomon came up to her and the two became good friends.
“So, she’s a mutant?” Gamer asked as he analyzed her.
“Yep! Cool, huh?” Mikey grinned as the mutant cat licked Gamer on his nose, leaving some ice cream on it.
“Yeah I admit. That is cool.” Gamer wiped off the ice cream and put it in his mouth.
Raph came in with his pet, Chompy, and fed him a piece of pepperoni as Rainbow came up to them.
“How’s our little Chompster?” Rainbow petted him, causing him to cheer.
“What do we have here?” Hawkmon asked.
“Another mutant?” Yolei guessed.
“Nope. This is Chompy Picasso. An alien turtle I’m taking care of.” Raph answered.
“And I’m his surrogate mother.” Rainbow added.
Wormmon came up to the baby turtle. “He looks pretty cute.” As he petted him, Chompy accidently burped a little fire, startling Wormmon, causing him to hide behind Ken.
“Sorry, Wormmon. It’s a force of habit.” Raph apologized.
“I’ll just be careful when I’m around him.” Wormmon nodded in worry.
“I’m liking this world more and more!” Veemon cheered as he petted Chompy.
After finishing his slice, Donnie stood up. “Well, now that we’re all friends, and trained The Digidestined a bit, we need to figure out how we’re gonna be able to use The Shellraiser and The Party Wagon if we’ll be facing more Digimon like Kuwagamon.”
“I’m with Donnie. And in addition so we can digivolve our Digimon without causing problems for you guys.” T.K. added.
“You see when Digimon digivolve, there’s always an electrical surge that causes machinery to fail.” Kari continued.
“We’ve gotten that impression well” Fugitoid stated, recalling he was immobilized the night before.
“Maybe, I could help.” Gamer volunteered. “I’m pretty good with technology myself.”
“Even with the three of us, we may never solve this problem.” Twilight sighed.
As everyone pondered on what to do, a portal suddenly appeared in the lair and two figures emerged from it. One was a high schooler with short red hair and the other was an adult man in a white robe.
“Prodigious! We finally found you!” the boy smiled.
“Izzy!” The Digidestined smiled.
“And Gennai.” T.K. added.
“Sorry it took so long to find you all.” The man grinned. “We had a little help.”
Gennai pointed to the portal where a certain friend of the Turtles and Rainbooms’ emerged.
“Bishop!” They all cried.
“Greetings, my friends. I apologize that our reunion isn’t under better circumstances.” Bishop greeted.
Yolei introduced everyone. "Izzy, Gennai, meet our new friends. This is April, Casey, Keno, Karai, and Shinigami. These are the Turtles Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. And these are the Rainbooms, Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, her dog Spike, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy. That's Shine Boy, Gamer, Love Shine, and Shine Girl."
Izzy then noticed the Turtles. “Bishop told me about you guys as well as your friends here. It’s fascinating you guys are actual mutants.”
“Yep. We are fascinating.” Mikey gleamed before Raph conked him on the head.
Kari stepped up and introduced their friend. “Everyone, this is our friend and one of the original Digidestined, Izzy. He’s our computer expert. And this is Gennai. He’s like our mentor and guide who lives in the Digital World.”
“You mean you knew about their world, Bishop?” Sunset asked.
“Equestria was not the only world the Kraang tried to control.” Bishop answered as Gennai continued.
Long before the Digi Eggs were ready, Kraang Prime came to the Digital World and tried to convince The Dark Masters to mutate it. Thankfully, Piedmon was a master trickster and he and the other Dark Masters gave the Kraang the boot through the portal. A few days later, I met with Bishop and he promised me that he and the Utrom were going to do everything in their power to make sure the Kraang never returned and I would never mention Dimension X, knowing the Dark Masters would want to conquer them as well.
“I don’t know if I wanted to thank them or hurt them for that.” Rainbow pondered.
"I'd hurt' em." Casey whispered.
“And I have heard of you and your friends as well, Shine Boy.” Bishop added as he shook Shine Boy's hand. “Unfortunately, I didn’t when The Triceratons invaded.”
“I understand. I was off world anyway. Long story.” Shine Boy shrugged. “Still nice to meet you.”
“So are you two gonna stay and help us?” Pinkie asked.
“I’m afraid not, Pinkie, was it?” Pinkie nodded as Izzy continued. “Me and the other older Digidestined are keeping an eye in the Digital World while you guys are away. I just needed help finding you guys.”
“But we also brought a friend who can stay and help.” Gennai smiled as he pointed to the portal.
Coming from the portal was a tall android the Digidestined knew so well.
“Andromon!” T.K. and Kari cheered.
“Greetings, my friends.” He greeted.
T.K. introduced him. “Everyone, this is Andromon, one of our many Digimon friends.”
As everyone greeted Andromon, Ken grimaced, remembering that he was one of the Digimon he controlled as the Digimon Emperor. Then, Andromon walked up to him.
“Excuse me, but you were the Digimon Emperor, were you not?”
“I was.” Ken sighed. “And before you grill me, I just want to tell you I’m very sorry for everything I’ve done to you.”
Andromon smiled. “Wouldn’t have been the first time I possessed. And you learned your lesson, so forgiveness is logical.”
Hearing that made Ken feel so much better.
“I believe I can help with any technical equipment you all have.”
Twilight smiled as she adjusted her glasses. “I think we have our solution boys.” Donnie and Gamer smiled in agreement.
“We’ll need to be getting back.” Gennai stated.
“I’ll be checking on you guys soon.” Izzy added as they headed back into the portal.
“I, on the other hand, have official Business to deal with. Keep me posted.” Bishop followed and exited as well just before the portal closed.
“With us working together, I know we stand a chance against Lewej, Ripley, and Stockman!” Shine Boy declared. ---------
Meanwhile, Ripley, Lewej, and Stockman briefed Devimon on everything.
“So this Shine Boy, along with mutant turtles and girls, have teamed up with the Digidestined?” Devimon asked.
“Yes.” Ripley confirmed.
“But if we work together, we will defeat them! All we ask for is your cooperation. Whattya say?” Stockman insisted.
“Perhaps there is a way we can work together.” Devimon pondered.
“So do we have a deal?” Ripley extended his hand as Devimon accepted it.
“Deal.” He smirked as the place echoed to laughter.
It was a quiet day, except in the lair. Cody was practicing with Leo on sword play while Gamer was sparring with Karai. Cody swung his practice sword and clanged against Leo’s.
“I’m impressed Cody. You’re really good with the sword.” Leo grinned.
“You should see my grandpa.” Cody panted.
“But you shouldn’t use so much energy so quickly. Try to conserve it should tide turn.”
“Of course.” Cody nodded.
Meanwhile, Gamer was able to keep up with Karai as they clashed.
As they were in a lock with their blades, Karai spoke. “Your brother has trained you well. Haven’t had this much fun since April.”
“Glad to impress. I had other good teachers as well.” Gamer grinned. Suddenly, Karai sweep kicked him on his back and had her sword at his throat.
“However, you’re still young. Despite your intelligent brain, you can be a little naïve. Always keep an eye on your blind spots. But I still see potential in you.” Karai grinned before she put her tanto blade away and helped the kid up.
“Your advice….. is logical.” Gamer agreed as he was catching his breath while Karai patted his back.
As the four practiced, Sunset, Twilight, Spike, Davis, Armadillomon, and Veemon with Chompy on his head were watching from the side.
Just then, Shine Boy entered the dojo. “I’m back!”
Leo nodded. “Okay! Let’s take a break, everyone!”
As everyone stopped their practices as they gathered and set up trays while Shine Boy emptied a bag with drinks. “Okay, I got prune juice, as requested by Cody, orange juice, green tea, and extra water.” He then looked around. “Where’s everyone else?”
“Rarity and April are hanging out at the mall with Yolei. Mikey and Shini are at Central Park with Fluttershy, Pinkie, T.K., and Kari. Casey and Raph are showing Rainbow, Applejack, Love Shine, Shine Girl, and Ken the hockey stadium. Donnie is in his lab with Fugitoid and Andromon.” Sunset listed off.
“I promised Raph I’d watch Chompy for him.” Veemon smiled as he gave Chompy a little drink of his juice.
“I was bored so I stuck around here.” Davis yawned. “I tried to play a little soccer before Metalhead popped the ball, saying no soccer in the lair.”
"Sensei wouldn't have been as merciful." Leo pointed out.
As they enjoyed their drink, Cody spoke up. “Ms. Karai, could I ask you and Shine Boy a question?”
“Go ahead, Cody, and just Karai is fine.”
“Right. My apologies. Anyway, How did you two meet?”
Shine Boy and Karai looked at each other. then Shine Boy spoke. “You wanna go first?”
“I can start.” Karai nodded. “It all started after Father used the Healing Hands to remove the mind worm out of my head. I wanted Shredder to pay for using me as well as lying to me about my mother. I thought about usurp his leadership of the Foot Clan. Then I remembered a hired assassin who once worked for the Shredder. His name is Diminish. He hunts for sport. I found out his last location was in Omaha, so I snuck on a plane to find him.”
Shine Boy continued. “I, on the other hand, had to find Diminish for break ins and robberies. I was tipped that he was hiding in Omaha, so I went find him.”
(Flashback)
It was night in Omaha as Shine Boy jumped from building to building. He then stopped as he looked at the horizon.
“According to the scopes, I should be close to Diminish’s last location.” He said to himself. Before he left, he saw a girl dressed in black jumping off buildings not far from him. She seemed to be in such a hurry to notice Shine Boy as he saw her leaving.
Who’s that, he thought? Seems to be going my way, though.
Soon enough, Karai arrived at a club and smashed through a window, causing a commotion. Soon, she faced a certain thug wearing a pricless earing. “Nice ring. How much did it cost you to keep quiet?”
More thugs tried to gang up on Karai, but the ninja girl was too fast and immobilized them quickly and grabbed the thug by the collar before he could escape.
“Where’s Diminish?” She growled.
“I ain’t telling you nothing!” The thug hissed back.
Karai then pulled her tanto out and held it at the thug’s throat.
“I-I don’t know. He just asked me where the warehouse district was and paid me this earring! I swear!”
“That’s enough.” Shine Boy walked up and put his hand on Karai’s shoulder. “I think you got your answer.”
Karai only responded by kicking Shine Boy in the gut, sending him flying back.
“I don’t know who you are but stay out of this!” As Karai had her back turned, the thug pushed her long enough for him to escape. Karai tried to chase him only to have to catch a boomerang like weapon thrown by Shine Boy.
“Listen. If you value your life, you’ll just turn around and leave! I’m not in the mood for games!” She warned the guy.
“Look. I don’t want to hurt you. But I won’t stand aside as you torture people who aren’t worth it!” Shine Boy glared.
“Well, your mistake.” Karai charged at Shine Boy, who dodged her sword swings. He then was able to pin her to the ground.
“Are you calm now? Can we talk like human beings?” he sternly said.
His answer was in the form of Karai turning into her snake form which startled Shine Boy as Karai threw him through the wall.
“Is this how you deal with rejections?” he joked as he climbed up the fire escape up the building as she followed him in hot pursuit. After a bit of a struggle, Karai wrapped her tail around Shine Boy and started to squeeze him.
“You have made a grave mistake!” She hissed as she prepared to strike him before she felt a shock. She then noticed Shine Boy was using a taser to shock her, causing her to lose her grip on him. He was able to break free from her and used a smoke bomb to escape. Seeing he escaped, Karai reverted to human form and panted.
“Who was that jerk? No mind. Gotta head to the wearhouse district to find Diminish.”
Unknown to her, Shine Boy was hiding on the side of the building and heard everything.
Soon, Karai was at the warehouse district and searched every corner for her target. She searched until a voice from the shadows spoke.
“I’ve been expecting you.”
Karai turned to find a figure wearing a black helmet, a mask, bladed elbow pads, shinguards, and had two Hanwei Scimitar Swords.
“You are not the one I’m expecting.” Diminish glared.
“But you are the one I’m looking for!” Karai smirked.
“You are making a grave mistake, young lady.”
Drawing her tanto, Karai charged at Diminish, only for him to block her sword with his. He then kicked her in the gut, causing her to back off.
“I don’t know who you are or where you come from, but no one gets between Diminish and his prize!”
Karai continued to battle Diminish. It seemed nothing she did could compete against the bounty hunter. She then got a hit in with a certain move of the Foot Clan. As he shook it off, Diminish realized who she was.
“That move. It is the technique of The Foot Clan. Now I know who you are! You are Karai! Daughter of the Shredder!”
Karai cringed. “Shredder is not my father! Not anymore.”
“What? You rebelling?” Diminish taunted. “Too bad I ended my partnership with Shredder years ago. Otherwise, I’d teach you some manners.” After a moment to think, Diminish continued. “On second thought, since you spoiled my surprise for someone else, I’ll teach you manners right now.”
Suddenly, another figure burst through another figure. It was Shine Boy.
“Sorry, Diminish. Had to finish my homework.” He grinned.
“Now that is who I was waiting for!” Diminish pointed to Shine Boy.
“Not him again.” Karai growled.
“I was expecting you sooner. I had to make do with this nuisance here.” Diminish pointed to Karai, who glared at him.
“I’ll show you nuisance!” Karai charged at Diminish. Shine Boy joined the battle but the two were being beaten due to not working together.
After bumping into each other, Karai grumbled at Shine Boy. “I told you to stay out of this!”
“You have a real gratitude problem, you know that?”
“And you like to put your life in danger!”
“If it means it’ll help others, then yeah I do!”
"I never needed your help!"
"You're welcome!"
"I'm NOT thanking you!"
Shine Boy and Karai continued to argue that Diminish began to feel like they forgot he was there and got annoyed. He went to them and tapped Karai’s shoulder. “Excuse me?”
“But out!” Karai smacked his hand away.
“Okay I’ve had enough of this!” Diminish charged at Shine Boy, sending him flying into a nearby lake and starts to walk away.
“Get back here!” Karai cried, giving chase.
Karai was so upset she didn’t realize that Diminish was leading her to a construction site. She kept trying to fight him as he just toyed with her. He then threw a kunai at support beams, causing the dirt and gravel on top to fall on her, burying her.
“Even if I didn’t kill my target, at least I defeated the so-called daughter of Shredder.” Diminish snickered as he walked away.
Under the pile, Karai began to black out, unable to move and running out of air. She started to vision her family as she closed her eyes.
Forgive me, Father. Mother, she thought. I have failed you.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed hers and started to pull her out of the pile. When her head surfaced, she took a moment to catch her breath and cough. Able to breath again, she looked up to see her rescuer was none other than Shine Boy.
“Hi.” He grinned. “Are you ready to talk like human beings?”
Still out of breath, Karai nodded as Shine Boy continued to pull her out.
“Um, Excuse Me?”
(Pause Flashback)
Everyone looked at Veemon, who raised his hand.
“Sorry for interrupting, but can I get some popsicles?”
“Sure. Go ahead.” Leo nodded.
“Be right back. I don’t wanna miss a moment of this! C’mon, Chompy!” Chompy chortled in agreement as they left the dojo.
“I think I’ll pop some popcorn while he’s getting that.” Davis added as he got up.
“Top cupboard on the left!” Leo called.
“And bring back some bowls while you’re at it.” Twilight added.
It didn’t take long for Veemon and Davis to return with the snacks for everyone.
“I got the bowls as requested. Popcorn for everyone!” Davis declared.
“I even got Ice Cream Kitty to give popsicles for everyone.” Veemon added, passing them around.
"Well that was real thoughtful of you, Veemon." Sunset smiled.
As they all enjoyed their snacks and drinks, Spike spoke up. “So, what happened next?”
Seeing Shine Boy was trying to finish chewing, Karai decided to continue. “Well, After Shine Boy saved me, we actually sat down and talked to each other.”
(Resume Flashback)
Shine Boy and Karai sat by the side of a building, explaining to each other they’re story to each other.
Shine Boy took a deep breath. “I’m so sorry about what you went through.”
“Thank you. And I’m sorry I tried blowing you off earlier. I’m not much of a team player.” Karai sighed.
“From what I heard, you’re usually solo. Even when you worked for this Shredder.”
Karai nodded as Shine Boy continued. “I heard about Shredder from a friend of mine who’s also a ninja. He told me to stay away from him. We fight enough tough opponents that I believe him.”
“Who is your friend?” Karai asked.
“Maybe I’ll introduce you to him someday.” Shine Boy got up and stretched. “Right now, I’ve got to find Diminish. Knowing him, he’ll probably find an innocent to attack since he didn’t get his target. And I could use some help.”
“A partnership? After everything that happened?” Karai raised her brow.
“I think if we work together, we’ll stand a chance of beating him.”
Karai nodded and the two started to jump from building to building.

Meanwhile, Diminish was observing a crowded area downtown. He was ready to throw a kunai at the people below when he had to deflect a boomerang and a couple shruiken and saw Shine Boy and Karai running towards him.
Diminish smiled to himself. “Figures you’d survive your swim and save your new friend. I guess I get my trophy after all.” He drew his swords.
Shine Boy pulled out his staff while Karai drew her tanto blade and the two attacked. This time, the two were working together and were able to be a match against Diminish. During the struggle, the three landed on the trailer of a rolling semi. Shine Boy threw his Shine-a-rangs at Diminish only for him to slice them with his swords.
“I’m amazed you can even work with your new friend, Boy.” Diminish taunted. “Do you even know who she is.”
“I do.” Shine Boy declared. “Her name is Karai, daughter of Hamato Yoshi!”
“She works for the warlord known as the Shredder!”
Suddenly, he was taken by Karai in her serpent form. She reverted to her human form and held the hunter by his throat. “Not anymore. And now you will pay for your involvement with my mother’s killer!”
Diminish scoffed. “I only did a hit job once for Shredder. He offered me a place in the Foot Clan, but I refused. I was lucky to leave with my life!”
“Anyone who worked for Shredder is on my hit list! Even once!” Karai held her sword at his throat.
“Are you going to kill me, Child?” Diminish showed no fear. “if you are, you are no different than Oroku Saki.”
Shine Boy worried for Karai as she glared at Diminish. Finally, she put her blade away and threw him aside. “Just hope you never cross my path ever again.”
“Yes. Of course.” As he began to sneak away, Diminish secretly pulled out a kunai. “As you wish………..you foolish little BRAT!”
Just as Diminish was about to throw the Kunai, he was hit by a ray of light from behind. Karai looked as Shine Boy blasted his Shine Power at Diminish, knocking him out.
Shortly after leaving the semi, Shine Boy and Karai watched on the roof as the police took Diminish in custody. Seeing Karai with a stern look on her face, Shine Boy turned to leave before Karai spoke without turning around. “Leaving without saying goodbye?”
“I didn’t think you wanted to be bothered by it.” Shine Boy answered.
“I came to find Diminish to usurp Shredder’s hold on the Foot. I find out Diminish hasn’t been in The Foot for years.” Karai sighed.
“I’m Sorry.”
“It wasn’t a total waste. Seeing us working together made me realise I need help to achieve this goal.”
Karai then turned and walked up to Shine Boy. Then leaned closer and pecked him on the cheek. “Thank you, Shine Boy, for helping me see that.”
“Happy to help. So, what are you gonna do now?”
“I think I’ll head back to Japan. I know a friend there who can help. Then I’ll make Shredder pay for what he did to my family.”
And with that, Karai jumped from the roof and when Shine Boy looked, she was gone.
“I hope you find the peace you seek.” Shine Boy was about to leave when he noticed a note tucked in his utility belt. He opened it and read it.
“Took the liberty to find your phone number. Don’t call me. I’ll call you. -Karai”
Shine Boy smiled while looking back before heading home.
(End of flashback)
“And that’s how I met Karai.” Shine Boy finished before biting into his popsicle.
"Amazing." Cody awed.
“That was great! I’m glad you were both able to defeat Diminish!” Veemon smiled.
"Let's hope we never meet this Diminish." Sunset stated as the others agreed.
“It would explain why we haven’t seen you a while after the Triceraton Invasion, Karai.” Leo pointed.
“yep. Of course, after that, I built my forces with help from Shinigami. The rest is history.”
“As mentioned, me and the rest of Team Shine had to go to another world for another mission. When we tried to go home, Earth was destroyed, curtesy of this Black hole generator. With help from our friends from that world, Gamer found the timeline where you guys stopped The Triceraton Invasion and we made it home. My only regret is that I couldn’t help you guys. It might have made a difference.” Shine Boy sighed.
Sunset smiled. “I’m sure what you had to do was just as important. I’m also glad you don’t blame Fugitoid what happened.”
“I’m just glad he destroyed that thing and we had a home to go back to.” Shine Boy smiled back as Gamer agreed.
“That. And the fact The Krang were mainly responsible to begin with.”
“Has Diminish come back after that?” Cody asked.
“He has. But we’ve been able to beat him time after time.” Shine Boy stated.
“I bet.” Grinned Spike.
“I took us four plus another one to beat him those time.”
“Who’s the other one?” Twilight asked out of curiosity.
Shine Boy and Gamer looked at each other as Shine Boy sighed. “Our older brother, Luke. He’s….. not exactly a nice guy. The media calls him Night Shine.”
"I just hope you guys never meet HIM!" Gamer grimaced.

Meanwhile, In the Chinatown of New York, a figure was walking on the sidewalk. He had long brown hair, wore a leather jacket over a black jersey and black pants and sneakers. On his jacket was a sheath carrying a machete. He passed by an alley where The Purple Dragons were hanging when they noticed him. The figure didn’t seem to notice them walking up on him. Sid put his foot out to trip him, but the figure unknowingly walked over it. Tsoi walked up to him.
“What’s up, my man? You look like you ain’t from around here.”
“Your point?” the figure glared.
“Maybe the Purple Dragons can give you an eventful tour.” Tsoi sneered.
“Pass.” The figure started to walk off only for Chong to block him.
“Maybe you didn’t hear us.” Chong reached to the figure only for the figure to grab him first.
“No. YOU didn’t hear me.” The figure cracked Chong’s arm and as he clenched his fist, dark energy began to radiate off it. “He’ll live. But that’s just a taste!” As he walked away, Hun watched from the shadows, growling.
“Should we go after him?” Tsoi asked the giant turtle.
“No.” Hun answered. “Something about him makes me think that would be a bad idea. Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll take down the turtles.”
Hun watched the figure walk away as Tsoi and Sid drag Chong back in the alley.
One Night, The Ninjas and the Rainbooms took Team Shine and The Digidestined on an evening run across the city. Karai and Shinigami couldn’t come due to business in the Foot Clan. As they jumped from building to building, Twilight and April made sure no one fell off should they be needed. Sure enough, Yolei almost fell off one building, but April used her ESP to pull her up.
“Thanks, April!” Yolei grinned.
“Anytime.” April winked before they continued.
Soon enough, they all stopped on a roof to take a breather.
“You guys are doing a good job keeping up.” Leo grinned.
“Well, it’s similar to the laps we run at soccer practice.” Davis bragged.
“Minus the jumping from building to building part.” Veemon added.
“Quiet, Veemon. You’re cramping my style.” Davis whispered.
“Yeah, it’s nice to get out and observe New York.” Gamer looked around.
“Too bad Fugitoid is in the middle of his reprogramming to see this.” Sunset said. ----------
Meanwhile, Fugitoid and Metalhead were in Donnie’s lab hooked up to a computer while playing cards with Andromon.
“You got any threes?” Fugitoid asked the Digimon.
“Pursue aquatic life.” Andromon answered. ------
“There’s a passageway in the sewers nearby. Let’s finish our run there.” Leo suggested.
As everybody headed that way, Shine Boy stopped to look around, which was noticed by April.
“You all right, Shine Boy?” she asked.
“I thought I felt something…… familiar.” Shine Boy pondered. “No mind. We better catch up to the others.”
April nodded as they followed the others. Unknown to them, a dark figure was watching them from a higher building before walking away. -----------
The teams were able to complete their run. But during their last lap, no one noticed Fluttershy stopping and felt her geode and took a left turn away from the group. Everybody soon stopped completing their run.
“Everybody ready to head back?” Leo checked with the group.
Rainbow Dash then noticed someone missing. “Where’s Fluttershy?”
“Did she get lost?” Shine Girl worried.
“Kinda hard to in this part of the sewers.” Mikey said.
“She couldn’t have gone too far.” Kari looked around.
“The only way she’d get lost is if she was upset or saw a cute animal.” Applejack stated.
“We better find her.” Davis stated and started to run off before Raph grabbed his collar.
“Cool it, tough guy! We should stick together so we don’t be the ones lost.”
“I’ll scan the area.” Gamer pushed a button on his goggles turning on his scanner. “These sewer walls are blocking my extended vision. We should start walking. But I think I can find a lead.”
“That’s what I said!” Davis complained.
“Dude. Chill.” Casey rolled his eyes.
“Gamer take the lead. April, follow him. Everyone, stay alert.” Leo sorted.
Davis felt ignored as everyone walked away. “Why is everyone not listening to me?” he cried.
“I’m sorry. You say something?” Mikey popped up as they followed the others.
It didn’t take long for April to sense the shy girl.
“She’s close.” She whispered before noticing a turn. “Over here, everyone!”
Everyone entered to fine Fluttershy next to something covered.
“Is something wrong, Fluttershy?” T.K. asked.
“Oh. I’m sorry. I heard crying and went to investigate.”
“I don’t see anyone.” Keno looked around.
“And I’m pretty sure we would have heard crying as we passed by.” Yolei stated.
“I think this’ll answer that.” Fluttershy held up a small ordinary turtle.
“Hey look! It’s one of your cousins!” Davis joked to the turtles.
“Well, he ain’t wrong.” Donnie sighed.
“Oh yeah! You can talk to animals. I forgot about that.” Kari pointed out.
“But why is this little one crying?” Shine Boy wondered as he looked at the turtle and rubbed it's chin with his finger.
“She was telling me she was aducted from the zoo by two mean guys who plan to sell her to a really scary guy.”
“How heartless!” Cody irked.
“Especially since there are a lot of endangered species of turtles.” Ken pointed out before turning to the Turtles. “Uh no offense.”
“None taken, Ken.” Mikey grinned.
“And you’re right.” Raph gloomy said.
“Who’d be stupid enough to pull that crime?” Casey cracked his knuckles.
His answer came in the form of the sound of stabbing. Everyone looked up at a grate to see three men talking. The one with the knife was eating a slice of pizza he stabbed. He had brown bushy hair and wore hunting gear over a brown trenchcoat, khaki pants, black boots, and a tan shirt. He was talking to two familiar guys.
“Flim and Flam.” Applejack growled.
“Who are they?” Love Shine asked.
“They’re con artists.” The cowgirl hissed. “Nothing but a duo of weasels.”
“But who’s their business partner?” Casey wondered.
Gamer quietly scanned with his goggles. “According to the databanks, his name is Simon Bonesteel. A mental patient who claims to be the best bounty hunter in the world. And he hunts endangered species and sells him to the black market. He’s wanted for illegal poaching, kidnapping, and firearm possession.”
“Reminds of that hunter who tried to hunt your old girlfriend, D.” Mikey chuckled.
“Oh Ha Ha.” Donnie said dryly, hate to be reminded of their encounter with Bigfoot.
“What are they up to?” Sunset wondered.
“Let’s listen and see.” Leo suggested as they all hushed to listen to the three above.
“From what we heard, you hunt for endangered species, Mr. Bonesteel.” Flim sneered.
Bonesteel smirked. “So you two come to ol’ Bonesteel with this here endangered species of turtle fer a reasonable price. Personally, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt myself. But considering what I can get at the black market, I’ll make an exception.”
As they talk, the cheese from Bonesteel’s pizza slice was oozing on the grate. Mikey drooled at the sight and was about to reach for it only to be pulled back by Shine Girl.
Flam continued. “The zoo back in Canterlot didn’t know what hit them. By the time they found out the turtle was missing, we were long gone.”
“Heh. Amateurs.” Bonesteel smirked before he gave both Flim and Flam a bunch of money. “Here’s the dough. Five thousand a piece.”
Flim and Flam grinned as they flip through the bills.
“Mr. Bonesteel, you just bought yourself an endangered species.” Flim smirked.
Hearing this, Fluttershy was gritting her teeth in anger while Raph was patting her shoulder to calm her down.
“You’ll find the turtle down that grate. Had to make sure the NYPD didn’t get suspicious.” Flam explained before the brothers took their leave.
“He’s gonna come down here!” Twilight feared.
“Let’s knock some sense into that jerk!” Davis pulled out his Digivice, only for Shine Boy to grab his arm.
“Hold it, Davis! He doesn’t know about us!”
“Shine Boy’s right. I suggest we take our little friend and get outta here! Fighting isn’t always the answer, especially if Bonesteel is dangerous.” Sunset agreed.
But before they could leave, they heard the grate open.
“He’s coming down!” Wormmon worried.
“Quick! Everybody hide!” Leo ordered.
Everybody was able to hide out of sight just as Bonesteel entered and walked towards the covered cage while talking to himself.
“Hello, my little soon to be extinct species. Once I sell you, we’ll find a spot for you as an ashtray. Or maybe a silver platter.”
He removed the cover only to not see his turtle not there.
“WHAT? Where’d you go? Couldn’t have gotten out on it’s own!” Bonesteel pulled out a flashlight and looked around. “I KNOW YOU’RE OUT THERE! SHOW YOURSELF! YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT BELONGS TO ME!”
“We do?” Mikey asked Pinkie.
“Well, he did buy it off Flim and Flam.” Pinkie pointed out.
“Shh!” Gamer shushed them.
Casey crawled behind some junk when a hubcap fell in front of him, alerting Bonesteel.
“I HEARD THAT! COME ON OUT! YOU CAN’T HIDE FOREVER!” he started to walk over to Casey’s position.
“Shoot! He knows we’re here! We hafta fight!” Davis pleaded to Leo and Shine Boy, who shushed him.
“Not yet we don’t.” Shine Boy pulled out an orb from his utility belt and threw it towards Bonesteel.
“Well, what do we have here?” Bonesteel picked up the orb. “Did you kiddies lose yer ball?”
Suddenly, smoke hissed out of the orb, blinding the Hunter.
“Everyone! Make a run for it!” Shine Boy cried.
Everyone ran to leave the caverns while the smoke kept them covered. On the way out, Veemon bounced on Bonesteel while he, Davis, and Mikey made faces at him while running. Unfortunately, Bonesteel was able to see the three despite the smoke.
“What in blazes?” he growled.
“This way!” Leo shouted as they all made a sharp left. By the time Bonesteel got his sight back, they were gone.
“I’LL TRACK YOU DOWN FER MAKING A FOOL OUTTA SIMON BONESTEEL!” His voice echoed. ------
Meanwhile, Flim and Flam were walking in an alleyway, counting their money.
“What a score! That Bonesteel is such a chump!” Flim smirked.
“Not as big as chumps as the zoo caretakers.” Flam added.
Suddenly, both were pulled up by a rope tied to their legs to the top of a building. There, a guy with long brown hair wearing a leather jacket pulled on their hair and close to him.
“Where. Is. Bonesteel?” he growled.
“Bonesteel? What’re you talking about?” Flim scoffed.
“Do you know who you’re talking to?” sneered Flam.
“Someone who’s gonna feel pavement on his face!” The figure hissed as he lowered the the two too fast like they were falling. They both screamed as they fell and were pulled up again.
“I suppose you don’t want that mustache either.” The figure smirked.
“Alright! Alright! He is in the sewers near ninth street! We just sold him an endangered species of turtles to him.” Flim feared.
“Why does that not surprise me.” The figure rolled his eyes.
“We were just doing business is all.” Flam shivered.
“Ending a species’ just to fill your pockets. Your kind disgusts me.” The figure glared.
Flim held out the money to the figure. “Look. Here’s five thousand for you to let us go.”
“Do you think I’m in it for the money?” The figure glared more before holding his fist up as it glowed black energy and held it close the the brothers. The alley way was filled with screaming. The figure shortly walked out from it as he pulled out a bottle of root beer and drank from it. After putting the bottle away, he then walked away while talking to himself.
“I betcha I’ll find Shine Boy and his new friends, and I find Bonesteel as well!”
The Ninjas, Rainbooms, Digidestined, and Team Shine ran into another part of the sewers escaping with the turtle from Simon Bonesteel. At last, they were able to slow down.
“I think we lost him.” Gamer panted.
“Okay. Let’s slow down.” Leo ordered.
As they walked, Fluttershy looked at the turtle. “it’s all right. You’re safe now. We’ll send you to good people who will get you back home.” The turtle smiled hearing that.
“At least we got away from that Bonesteel guy.” T.K breathed.
“Gotta admit. That was a gutsy move back there, Shine Boy.” Raph commented.
“Thanks, Raph. Some battles aren’t worth fighting.” Shine Boy said.
“Especially, that would have exposed you guys to another psycho.” Twilight stated.
“Besides, I’d rather get my hands on Flim and Flam.” Applejack growled.
“Mind if I help?” Casey jested.
Suddenly, April felt her head before crying. “Everyone, LOOK OUT!”
As sudden as April’s cry, two nets came out of nowhere and landed on Leo, Twilight, Shine Boy, and Rarity. Then a bolo came and wrapped around Casey and Kari. As they tried to free their friends, they looked to see Simon Bonesteel.
“Surprise, kiddies! Isn’t it pass your bedtimes?”
“No way! I thought we lost you!” Love Shine cried.
“I always hunt my prey! Like a dog to a bone!” Bonesteel stated. “Especially when one of you stole the bone!”
“You will not take this turtle to your black market, You big MEANIE!” Fluttershy clung to the turtle.
“Aw! How cute. An animal lover.” Bonesteel taunted. “BUT THAT TURTLE IS MINE!”
“You really like to yell a lot, you know that?” Armadillomon covered his ears.
Bonesteel then shot a plunger on a string at the turtle’s shell and yanked the creature out of Fluttershy’s hands.
“No!” cried the shy girl.
“Did ya miss me?” Bonesteel cooed at the turtle.
“Let that turtle go, Bone breath!” Mikey demanded.
“SHUT IT, SHELL BACK!” Snapped Bonesteel before he perked up in realization. “I’m talking to an overgrown turtle. The turtle’s talking to me. Plus, there are those critters there. I’ll really be making the black market now!”
Shine Boy and Leo were able to remove the nets off them, Twilight, and Rarity while Gatomon used her claws to free Casey and Kari.
“I don’t think we can reason with him.” Leo sighed.
Shine Boy agreed before turning to Davis. “Still wanna knock some sense in this nut?”
“Thought you’d never asked.” Davis smirked before nodding to the other Digidestined.
“Whataya doin?” Bonesteel noticed.
The Digidestined, minus Ken, all shouted simultaneously. “DIGI ARMOR ENERGIZE!”
“Veemon armor digivolve to…….. Flamedramon, The fire of Courage!”
“Armadillomon armor digivolve to…….. Digmon, The drill of Knowledge!”
“Hawkmon armor digivolve to…….. Shurimon, The Samurai of Sincerity!”
“Gatomon armor digivolve to…… Nefertimon, Angel of Light!”
“Wormmon digivolve to…….. Stingmon!”
Bonesteel was shocked to see the critters grow so big. “How in tarnation did ya get so big? No matter. The price just doubled.” He pulled up a crossbow with lit dynamite.
“I bet you think you’re a big hot seller.” Flamedramon joked as he charged at the hunter.
Bonesteel aimed at the charging Digimon as he launched the dynamite which exploded on Flamedramon.
“I got him! Who’s hot stuff now? HAHAHA- Uh-oh.”
The smoke cleared to see Flamedramon unharmed. “Nice trick. Wanna see mine? FIRE ROCKET!”
Flamedramon threw fireballs at Bonesteel, causing him to throw the turtle. Luckily, Ken was able to catch it.
“I got her!” he cried.
“GIVE THAT BACK!” Bonesteel threw a bolo at him, tying his legs up causing him to trip and throwing the turtle, who was caught by Mikey. Bonesteel was about to grab Ken before he was whacked by Yolei with a metal pole.
“Back off, Bone Breath!” she hissed before kneeling to Ken. “Ken, are you alright?”
“I am now. Thanks, Yolei.” Yolei then tried to help Ken get untied before Bonesteel taunted.
“Aw! How cute! Saving yer boyfriend, Missy?”
“That’s none of your business!” Yolei shouted, showing red on her face.
“Oh, I don’t know. I think you two look cute together. Wouldn’t you agree?” Mikey asked the turtle.
“YOU’RE NOT HELPING, MIKEY!”
“That reminds me. GIVE ME THAT TURTLE, YOU MUTANT MISFIT!” Mikey screamed as Bonesteel gave chase.
“Love Shine!” Mikey threw the turtle at Love Shine, who caught it. Everyone who caught the turtle threw it to someone else, keeping it away from Bonesteel while the turtle looked nauseous.
“Please be careful with her! She’s not a football!” Fluttershy cried.
Meanwhile, Gamer secretly placed an explosive in a makeshift turtle shell. “You want a turtle; I’ll give you a turtle.” He motioned Sunset to come to him and whispered in her ear.
“QUIT PLAYING GAMES WITH ME!” Bonesteel ran like quickly trying to grab the turtle. The turtle was thrown in Gamer’s direction as he dove behind some junk then standing up with what appeared to be the turtle ducked in her shell.
“Hey, Bone Brain! Looking for this?” he taunted the hunter.
“Give it to me!”
Gamer laughed as he dodged the Hunter more and more.
“GIMME THAT, YOU BRAT! THAT’S MINE!”
As Gamer taunted Bonesteel, Sunset came up to Fluttershy and handed her the real turtle.
“Oh! Are you alright?” she cooed the turtle before asking Sunset. “Then what does Gamer have?”
Then, Bonesteel had Gamer cornered. “Give. Me. Turtle. NOW!” he panted.
“Go get her!” Gamer threw the turtle aside as Bonesteel dove in and caught it.
“HA! MINE! ANOTHER VICTORY FOR SIMON-”
KABOOM!
The shell exploded in Bonesteel’s face, leaving him all black. “Turtle go boom boom.”
Everyone laughed as Gamer joined the others.
“And it’s time we go bye bye.” T.K. joked.
But Suddenly, darts hit the Digimon, reverting them to their rookie states. Holding a gun, Bonesteel stomped up and grabbed an unconscious Veemon.
“Recess is over! Kiddies, say hello to Margarita!” he motioned his gun.
“He names his weapons?” asked Raph.
“And after adult drinks.” Pinkie added.
“SILENCE! Since you all forced my hand, I’ll trade you the turtle fer this dragon whatever he is.”
“But that’s not fair!” Davis cried.
“Well, you know what they say. All’s fair in a hunt! So, who’s gonna go the black market? And no funny stuff!”
Everyone didn’t know what to do without harming their friend. Davis was sweating the most. It seemed hopeless until-
“Simon Bonesteel!”
“Who said that?”
Suddenly, a dark figure jumped out and knocked the hunter’s gun out of his hand as well as Veemon.
“Oh no. Not him!” Gamer griped.
The figure revealed himself from the shadows. He had long brown hair, wore a leather jacket over a black jersey and black pants and sneakers. On his jacket was a sheath carrying a machete. His eyes were black with white pupils. His name was Luke, but people called him Night Shine.
“Who is he?” Rainbow asked.
“Our brother.” Shine Boy and Gamer sighed.
“Another tough guy? What makes you so special?” Bonesteel pulled out a knife.
“Why don’t you come see for yourself?” Night Shine drew his machete.
Bonesteel chuckled as he juggled his knife. Raph was ready to go another round but was blocked by Night Shine’s machete.
“Bone brain’s mine.”
As the two duked it out, everyone watched in surprise as the Digidestined grabbed their Digimon.
“It took everything we had to survive Bonesteel and this guy’s hardly broke a sweat!” Casey gasped.
“Not only that, he’s very skilled.” Keno added.
“Just who is this guy?” Davis asked.
“Gamer and I’s brother. Luke Bedding. The media calls him Night Shine and he hates that. He’s the embodiment of darkness.” Shine Boy explained.
“I would’ve so called him Night Shine!” Mikey chimed in before Raph smacked him upside the head.
“That’s your brother?” Twilight asked.
“All he cares about is being the best fighter, especially against Shine Boy.” Gamer griped.
“At least he’s fighting Bonesteel.” Fluttershy added.
“I don’t trust him.” Applejack glared.
“You didn’t trust Batman and yet he proved you wrong.” April stated.
“Besides, I think we can trust him.” Mikey pointed out.
“You’re joking. Right?” Raph snapped.
“I’m with Mikey on this one.” T.K. said.
“He doesn’t seem so bad.” Kari added.
“Either way, he’s awesome!” Rainbow cheered.
Night Shine and Bonesteel were in a lock with their blades. During their struggle, Night Shine kicked Bonesteel’s ankle then punched him in the gut that sent him flying.
“THAT WASN’T FAIR!” the hunter shouted.
“And yet you cheat all the time.” Night Shine chimed back.
Bonesteel screamed as he charged at Night Shine, who held up his fist that started to radiate dark flaming energy. He then punched the Hunter in the mouth and sent him flying to a wall, knocking him out.
“Was that Equestrian magic?” Leo asked Sunset.
“Not that I’ve seen before.”
Night Shine sheathed his machete and turned towards the group. Shine Boy walked up to him with a serious look. The two glared at each other a while before Night Shine spoke.
“Tone.”
“Luke.”
“So, you gonna introduce me to your new friends?” ----
Later, The police arrived along with the Animal service and found Bonesteel all chained up and unconscious as well as Flim and Flam hanging from a street light all duct taped and graffitied with words saying, ‘Morons’. They also saw the turtle waiting in a box. Meanwhile, The Ninjas, Rainbooms, Digidestined, and Team Shine watched from the rooftops while Shine Boy explained everything to Night Shine.
“They’ll know she’s the missing turtle from the zoo and have back home.” Sighed Fluttershy.
“I just hope we’ve seen the last of Bonesteel!” Casey smirked.
“Tell me about it. Anymore yelling from him and I’d go deaf.” Armadillomon rubbed his ears.
“He was a real jerk!” Cody glared.
“Not to mention a nutzoid!” Raph added.
“Yeah. I liked him too.” Joked Keno.
“Still, I’m gonna missed that lil turtle.” Mikey sighed.
“I’m sure we’ll see her again.” Assured April.
“we can see her at the zoo in Canterlot sometime.” Sunset promised.
“What worries me now is this Night Shine guy.” Donnie pointed out.
“Well, he did save Veemon.” Davis stated.
“And if he does join us, it’ll increase our chances against Ripley, Lewej, and Stockman.” T.K. added.
“Shine Boy’s talking to him about it.” Kari nodded.
“Wouldn’t hold my breath.” Mumbled Gamer.
“Look, I know he’s a real jerk, Games, but we could use his help.” Love Shine explained.
“Besides, I’m starting to change my mind about him after seeing what he did to the FlimFlam brothers.” Applejack chuckled.
“I’ll say.” Pinkie laughed.
Ken walked up to Yolei. “Thanks again for stopping Bonesteel from harming me, Yolei.”
Yolei blushed. “Oh! It was nothing, Ken. You would’ve done the same for me.”
The two smiled at each other before Mikey pulled up to Yolei. “You sure there’s nothing going on between you two?”
Yolei turned angrily at the turtle. “I’ll give you something!” Mikey screamed as Yolei chased him all over the rooftop. They even ran past Shine Boy and Night Shine as they were walking up to the group.
“What’s that all about?” Night Shine raised a brow.
“Who knows.” Shine Boy shrugged as they headed to the group.
“So, what’s the verdict?” Leo asked.
“Well, after some brother to brother talk, Luke has agreed to help us.”
Everyone cheered before Night Shine continued.
“If Ripley’s involved, this might be interesting. I’m always itching for a fight, especially those who dare take on my brother before I could. So, I will help you guys.” He looked back at Yolei still chasing Mikey.
“Don’t make me regret it.” He mumbled as he pulled a sucker out of his mouth.
One day, in the underground hanger, The Gem Knights were building a giant machine while Stockman was supervising. Meanwhile, Devimon was working on making his powers were at full strength and Ripley was practicing his magic. Then, a big figure stepped forward to Lewej who was on her throne drinking berry juice. The figure was tall with grey skin, gladiator armor, a grill over his mouth, and bladed shoulder pads.
“You summoned me, your highness?” the figure bowed.
“Yes, I did, Gladitron. While Stockman is supervising the weapon and Devimon and Ripley are doing…. Whatever, I want you to take a small group of Gem Knights and find these Turtles and Rainbooms and Digidestined who are no doubt with Shine Boy and his pep squad. Find and battle them and above all do not fail me.”
“At once, Princess.” Gladitron stood up and walked away as Lewej looked at her floating gem orb.
“No doubt that Shine brat and his new friends are out there, plotting against us.”

Meanwhile, in New York, The Turtles, their allies, Rainbooms, Digidestined, Team Shine, and Night Shine decided to play soccer on the rooftops since it was a nice day. After choosing teams, the group played and had fun. Only Rarity, Fluttershy, Fugitoid, Twilight, Spike, and Andromon sat and watched the others.
“Great idea playing soccer on a nice day like today, Davis.” Mikey grinned as he spun the ball on his finger.
“Seemed like a good idea. Besides, I wanted to see how good Rainbow Dash claims to be.” Davis smirked.
“Then prepare to be amazed!” Rainbow boasted.
“Don’t forget we’re here too!” Night Shine stole the ball from Casey and kicked it to the goal Love Shine was guarding. On the way, Raph ran to steal the ball from him, only for Night Shine to spin pass Raph, causing the turtle to fall over, growling. Night Shine kicked the ball towards the goal only for Shine Boy to intercept and kick it to Karai just before Night Shine could get it back. Karai then kicked it back to Raph, who kicked it to T.K. As T.K. was heading to the goal Leo was guarding, Davis slid from the side and knocked the ball almost tripping T.K. in the process. The ball then slid off the building.
“Out of bounds!” Mikey cried.
“I’ll get it.” Twilight headed to the to levitate the ball back up.
But as she neared the edge, April felt a vibe from her head. “TWILIGHT! LOOK OUT!”
Luckily, Leo dove in and grabbed Twilight just before a huge ray blasted nearly the whole side of the building. Appearing from the smoke stood Gladitron and some Gem Knights.
“Oh no!” Gamer gasped.
“It’s Gladitron.” Love Shine said.
“That’s Gladitron?” Raph asked.
“No. it’s Shia Lebouf. Of course, it’s Gladitron!” Night Shine rolled his eyes.
“He looks scary.” Fluttershy hid behind April.
“Well well well. If it ain’t Shine Brat and his brat brigade. And these must be those mutant turtles and Rainbooms Stockman told me about. As well as these Digidestined kids. And-” he stopped as he noticed Night Shine. “Night Shine? Where are these geeks crawling out of?”
“Don’t. call me that!” Night Shine growled.
“So Ripley and Lewej are working together with Stockman.” Shine Boy sneered. “And I suppose you want us dead or alive?”
Hearing that caused the ninjas, Team Shine, Rainbooms pull out their weapons.
“You know me so well.”
“Yeah we’re gonna have to have a rain check on that.” Davis smirked as the Digidestined pulled out their Digivices and once again all minus Ken shouted, “DIGI ARMOR ENERGIZE!”
“Veemon armor digivolve to…….. Raidramon, The Storm of Friendship!”
“Armadillomon armor digivolve to…….. Digmon, The drill of Knowledge!”
“Hawkmon armor digivolve to…….. Halsemon, The Wings of Love!”
“Gatomon armor digivolve to…… Nefertimon, Angel of Light!”
“Wormmon digivolve to…….. Stingmon!”
“Take’em Down!” Leo ordered.
Gladitron pulled out his blaster and started firing at heroes who scattered and battled Gem Knights. Team Shine made their way to Gladitron and battled the giant, but Gladitron threw Shine Boy, Gamer, and Shine Girl like ragdolls while Love Shine wrestled him.
“I’m going to enjoy prying you out of that armor!” Gladitron growled.
“You tried before. You won’t succeed here like those time as well!” Love Shine struggled.
Davis noticed while taking out a Gem Knight. “They need our help!”
Casey came skating by. “I’ve been wanting to try out my new toy.” He pulled a flat bat from behind. “Cricket.”
“Cricket?” Davis asked.
“Let’s just say you gotta know what a crumpet is to understand it.”
“Fair enough. Raidramon!”
The black armored dragon jumped to the two. “On it! Hop on, Jones.”
Casey nodded and jumped on Raidramon’s back. Then the two charged at Gladitron and Casey hit him in the back of the head with his cricket. “Goongala!”
Gladitron growled as he went after them before-
“Lightning Blade!”
He got hit in the back and turned to see Andromon facing him with Fugitoid.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?”
“Like you?”
“That was the general idea.”
Gladitron then noticed Fugitoid. “Professor Honeycutt? Alive? Maybe bringing you will be a bonus in today’s victory!”
“Over my dysfunctional body!” The professor shouted.
Then, T.K. and Kari jumped on Pegasusmon and Nefertimon and the two flew around as they formed an energy rope.
“Golden Noose!”
The two then wrapped it around Gladitron, immobilizing him.
“Let’s hit him now, Pegasusmon!” T.K shouted.
“Star Shower!” Pegasusmon flapped his wings and stars were shot out. But before they hit, Gladitron pulled Nerfertimon from her end, resulting in the attack hitting Nefertimon and Kari.
“KARI/NEFERTIMON!” Everyone cried.
T.K. was shocked he hit his friend. Pegasusmon landed, reverting back to Patamon, and T.K. rushed to where Kari and Nefertimon, who reverted back to Gatomon, landed and laid unconscious.
“Kari? Kari!” he frantically shook her, but she laid unresponsive. “What have I done?”
Gladitron broke free and was about to go after the two only to get hit by Applejack who sent him flying.
“Back off!” she shouted as the others ran to them.
“T.K.! Help me get Kari up!” Rainbow grabbed Kari while Fluttershy grabbed Gatomon and noticed T.K. standing there in regret. “T.K.? T.K.!”
“I’ll help.” Shine Girl helped carry Kari.
Leo gathered everyone up. “We need to get them back to the lair! Mikey! Get us out of here!”
Night Shine pointed to Gladitron. “This is a time out! If you call us cowards, I’ll break you!”
Mikey pulled out a smoke bomb. “A B See Ya!” he threw it on the ground, sending a smoke up and the group was gone. Gladitron growled seeing his targets gone.

Later, back in the Turtle’s lair, Leo and Sunset were in the dojo, performing the Healing Hands to heal Kari and Gatomon while Shine Boy, Karai, and Fluttershy watched.
"Rin. Pyo. Toh. Sha. Kai. Jin. Retsu. Zai. Zen." They both chanted as Leo placed his glowing hands on Kari while Sunset placed hers on Gatomon. After their hands stopped glowing, Kari and Gatomon both woke up gasping. Sunset placed her hand on Kari’s shoulder.
“Easy, Kari. We just healed you with the Healing Hands. You just need to rest right now.”
“I haven’t felt this bad about a defeat since BlackWarGreymon.” Gatomon sighed.
“What about Gladitron?” Kari asked as she laid back down.
“We had to return to the lair because you two were in critical condition.” Leo informed.
“I’m sorry I messed up.”
Shine Boy kneeled to Kari. “It was nothing you did, Kari. Gladitron can be tricky as well as tough. He took us by surprise to begin with.” He stood up and faced Leo and Sunset. “I gotta hand it to that Healing Hands technique. That is a handy ability. Uh no pun intended.”
“Where’s T.K.? is he alright?” Kari sighed.
“He seemed shook up when you got hurt.” Karai remembered.
“We’re gonna go talk to him. Fluttershy will get you anything you need.” Sunset stated.
“Thanks, Fluttershy.”
“My pleasure.” Fluttershy grinned as she rubbed Gatomon’s head.
“Let’s go.” Leo lead the leaders out of the dojo.
Meanwhile, Davis wasn’t as nice to T.K.
“How could you, T.M! Hurting Kari like that!”
“Hey! It’s not like T.K. did it on purpose!” Yolei yelled back.
“Yeah, man! Kari’s gonna be fine. It’s not like she died.” Mikey sighed.
“Besides, it was Gladitron’s doing, not his!” Casey added.
“Yeah, Davis! Use your brain!” Gamer yelled.
“Yeah yelling is gonna help Kari a lot.” Night Shine muttered while reading a magazine.
“Yeah…. Well… he should’ve watched where he was aiming!” Davis snapped.
“What about you? Did you know Gladitron was gonna throw Kari in the way?” Raph got in Davis’ face. “Did you? Did you?”
“ENOUGH!” Everyone turned to T.K., who had his back turned to them. “Davis’ right. It was my fault! And I’d rather not hurt anyone more.” And he started to leave the lair.
“Wait for me!” Patamon flew after him.
“T.K! Wait!” Rainbow called. But it was too late. T.K. had left just as Leo, Karai, Shine Boy, and Sunset left the dojo.
“How’s Kari?” Ken asked, obviously had enough yelling.
“She’ll be fine. She just needs rest.” Leo said before looking around. “Where’s T.K.?”
“He left. He really had the guilt piled high on him.” Twilight pointed before glaring at Davis.
“We better find him! Gladitron might be trying to hunt us down. He either gets called back by Lewej and I seriously doubt he was injured enough.” Shine Boy stated.
“I suggest the four of us go find him.” Karai insisted
“Right.” Leo turned to Raph. “Raph, you’re in charge until we get back.”
“Got it, Leo.”
“Is it alright if Love Shine helps out as well?” Shine Boy volunteered.
Raph sighed. “Well, I guess it’s better than Night Shine over there.”
Raph was answered by a hatchet just missing his face and glared at Night Shine as he went back to his magazine.
“I’m calling you that whether you like it or not!” he yelled.
“Don’t say he didn’t warn you.” Love Shine sighed.
“Let’s go.” Sunset called as she, Karai, Leo, and Shine Boy left to find the depressed Digidestined. ---
T.K. was on the side of the roof of a warehouse, sulking, when Shine Boy, Karai, Sunset, and Leo landed on the roof.
“Hey, T.K. Got room for four more?” Sunset asked with a friendly.
“I guess.” T.K. said bluntly.
As the four sat by T.K., Shine Boy pulled out a small bag of carrot chips and offered one to everyone.
“Carrot chip?” he offered the Digidestined.
“No thanks.”
“I’ll have one.” Patamon accepted a chip.
“Kari’s gonna be okay, thanks to Leo and Sunset.” Karai smiled.
“That’s good.” T.K. sighed, not showing any signs of lighting up.
Leo took a deep breath. “T.K., you can’t let one mistake stop you from helping.”
“What if I make it again? I don’t like watching people suffer because of me! Not again!”
“Again? It happened before?” Shine Boy raised a brow.
“Yeah.” T.K. sighed. But before he could continue, he was interrupted by chuckling.
“You’re just an accident waiting to happen, aren’t ya, Kid?”
They turned to see Gladitron with a small army of Gem Knights.
“Oh yeah. Almost forgot about you.” Karai said sarcastically.
“At least I’ll have a handful of you brats to show Lewej.”
“Hey! While you’re here, Have a carrot chip!” Shine Boy threw a carrot chip at Gladitron’s eye, blinding him as everyone pulled out their weapons.
“Get’em!” Leo ordered.
“Attack!” Gladitron shouted.
T.K. got up as he watched the four battle.
“Well, maybe this’ll work off some stress.” He said to himself as he pulled out his Digivice.
“Ready, Patamon?”
“Ready!” Patamon prepared to digivolve. “Patamon digivolve to-”
Nothing.
“What’s going on?” T.K. gasped
“I don’t know. I can’t digivolve!”
“Let’s try the other way. DIGI ARMOR ENERGIZE!”
“Patamon armor digivolve to-”
Nothing. Again.
“C’mon! work!” T.K. shook his Digivice before Gladitron fired at him, causing him to hang on the ledge.
“NO!” gasped the others but were unable to help.
“BOOM BUBBLE!” Patamon spat air bubbles at Gladitron, but they had no effect as Gladitron walked up and aimed his blaster at the hanging Digidestined. “Prepare to join your friend in the emergency room!”
He was about to pull the trigger before-
“HOWLING BLASTER!”
“ELECTRO SHOCKER!”
A blast of blue energy and an electrical orb narrowly missed Gladitron but knocked the blaster out of his hand. He looked to see a white wolf with blue stripes and a giant blue winged insect.
“Are they….. Digimon?” Leo asked.
“Wouldn’t surprise me.” Karai stated.
“Something tells me they’re on our side.” Shine Boy suggested while knocking out a Gem Knight.
“Why do you say that?” Sunset asked.
“I think those two are a dead giveaway.”
Shine Boy pointed to two guys walking up. One they recognized was Izzy. The other was another high schooler with blonde spiked hair. As he ran to help T.K., the wolf attacked Gladitron.
“I got ya, bro!” he grabbed T.K.’s hand.
“Matt?” T.K. gasped.
Meanwhile, The Gem Knights attacked the insect only to get swatted away by the insect itself.
“There sure are a lot of these pest!” he hissed.
After a struggle, Gladitron was able to throw off the wolf and got up. “You lucked out this time, but this isn’t OVER!” He then pushed a button on a device and disappeared in a flash of light.
The wolf walked up to Matt as he pulled T.K. back up with help from Karai. He then began to glow along with the insect, and both shrank into different forms. The wolf became a horned yellow creature wearing blue and white fur that covered his face. The insect was now a small red bug that resembled a ladybug. After putting away their weapons, the others walked up to them.
“Hey, Izzy. Good to see you again.” Sunset greeted.
“Great to see you guys again.” Izzy smiled back.
“So, you guys are the ninjas helping out my brother here.” Matt grinned.
“Brother? Oh! You must be Matt! T.K. told us about you!” Shine boy shook Matt’s hand. “I’m Shine Boy.”
“I’m Leonardo.”
“I am Karai.”
“My name is Sunset Shimmer.”
“Nice to meet you all.” Matt smiled. “This is my Digimon partner, Gabumon.”
“Hello.” The yellow creature bowed.
“Here’s my Digimon partner, Tentomon.” Izzy motioned the bug.
“Pleased to meet you all.” Tentomon nodded.
Patamon flew up to T.K. “Are you okay, T.K.?”
“I don’t know?” T.K. sighed, which Matt noticed.
“What’s wrong, bro?”
“For some reason, Patamon can’t digivolve! If you hadn’t shown up, I wouldn’t have-”
“There. There.” Gabumon patted his hand.
Matt showed a look of concerned as Izzy observed T.K.’s Digivice. “Well, your Digivice seems to be working fine.”
“Maybe if you build up your confidence, you’ll be back in the digivolving business.” Shine Boy suggested.
“Maybe a little ninja training could help?” Leo asked.
“Sure. Why not?” T.K. muttered.
“Cool! I was hoping to see you guys in action.” Matt smiled.
“I’d be fascinated to see myself.” Izzy added.
“If only we brought snacks.” Tentomon whined a little.
Shine Boy handed his bag of carrot chips to the two Digimon. “How about some carrot chips?”
“Ooo! Healthy.” Gabumon smiled as he and Tentomon accepted them and started to munch on them.
Soon after, the four trained with T.K. as Matt and Izzy watched. Shine Boy sparred with him each with staffs, Sunset practiced katas, Leo did hand to hand combat, and Karai sparred with wooden swords. But no matter what, T.K. seemed to be more upset which Matt noticed. Then, they had T.K. blindfolded and he tried to guess who would attack him next. After a couple failed attempts, T.K. just slammed his fists on the ground then pulled off the blindfold.
“You guys are just wasting your time! I’m no ninja!”
“We wouldn’t be doing this if it was a waste!” Karai snapped.
“And Ninja or not, you can’t just give up!” Shine Boy said.
“I’m sorry. I’m just not good enough.” T.K. walked off with Patamon following.
“Hopeless.” Shine Boy said, surprising everyone.
“That wasn’t very nice.” Sunset raised her brow.
“Nonono. I meant that kid doesn’t have hope.”
“Oh.”
“Which is sad because his crest was Hope.” Gabumon sighed.
“I have heard he was like this once.” Matt added, recalling when he told Cody about their battle with Devimon.
“Speaking of which, why exactly are you two here in our world?” Karai asked the two. “I seriously doubt T.K. was the reason you came.”
“You got me there, Karai.” Matt chuckled before getting more serious. “There is another reason why we’re here.”
Matt pulled from his backpack a glowing blue orb and showed the four.
“What’s that?” Leo asked in awe.
“It’s one of Azulongmon’s power core.” Izzy explained. “I’m sure you were told about our tags and crests?” Everyone nodded as Izzy continued. “Azulongmon is one of four Digimon guardians who was locked away by the Dark Masters. He was freed by T.K. and the others when they were protecting a power source known as a Destiny Stone. When portals were opening all around our world, Gennai and his counterparts gained a power core from Azulongmon which helped us digivolve our Digimon to their ultimate stages. But left The Digital World vulnerable. Soon, only Tai’s Digimon, Agumon, had enough power to become his Mega form, WarGreymon, so he could help out. After the final battle with MaloMyotismon, Oikawa sacrificed himself in hopes restore power to the Digital World.”
“Azulongmon heard of how the others are helping you guys and, since the Digital World seems to be recovering well, let us try to use one of his power core to see if we can help should we be needed. I volunteered.” Matt finished.
“Yep. I came to make sure nothing goes wrong.” Izzy added.
“It would probably be wise to not use it in an actual fight.” Shine Boy advised.
“C’mon. Let’s try to talk to T.K. again.” Leo said.
But unknown to the group, a Gem Knight witnessed the whole conversation.
T.K. continued to sulk as he walked along the roofs of buildings as Patamon followed behind him.
“T.K., you can’t just give up when others need us.” The Digimon pleaded.
“I don’t know, Patamon, I’m no good to anyone if I can’t help you digivolve and the training was no help.” T.K. sighed.
“Not if you keep doubting yourself.”
T.K. turned to see Shine Boy along with Leo, Karai, Sunset, Matt, Gabumon, Izzy, and Tentomon hurrying over to him.
“If you keep doubting yourself, even the simplest abilities become difficult.” Shine Boy finished.
Matt walked up to his younger brother. “T.K., do you remember when I left the group during our battle with the Dark Masters? I wasn’t much of a friend so Gabumon couldn’t digivolve when Puppetmon captured you. I began to feel alone until Gabumon opened my eyes.”
Gabumon chuckled at the compliment.
“The point is it’s not like you to give up so easily after one mistake. The T.K. I knew would never give up so easily! I know deep down that hope in you is still in you.”
“Listen to your brother, T.K.” Sunset added. “There’s always hope at even the darkest moment.”
T.K. was about to answer before the group noticed Gladitron with more Gem Knights.
“You again?” Matt scoffed.
“You’re more annoying than fruit flies.” Karai hissed.
“Tell me about it. Gamer one time sprayed him with pepper spray and he still comes back.” Shine Boy rolled his eyes.
“Silence!” Gladitron shouted. “I plan to serve my princess and no one’s gonna stop me, not even your pet dog.” He pointed to Gabumon.
“I’ll show you pet!” Matt pulled out his Digivice as Gabumon walked up looking angry.
“Gabumon digivolve to…….. Garurumon!”
“Ready, big guy?” Izzy asked his partner.
“Ready and willing!” Tentomon nodded.
“Tentomon digivolve to…….. Kabuterimon!”
“Let’s Shine!” Shine Boy shouted as the others joined in the fight as well.
T.K. looked at his Digivice. “Please work. DIGI ARMOR ENERGIZE!”
“Patamon Armor Digivolve to…….”
Still nothing.
“C’mon! not now!” T.K. griped as he shook his Digivice. “Fine! If we can’t get you to digivolve, then I’ll just have to do this ninja style!” he hurried to the battle, disarmed a Gem Knight, and battled with his scepter.
Everyone battled the Gem Knights. But it seemed that more came faster than they could defeat. Garurumon and Kabuterimon made their way to Gladitron who fought both of them. He then pulled out his blaster and fired at Kabuterimon, sending him flying.
“Kabuterimon!” Izzy cried as he fell, reverting back to Tentomon.
“Operator. Operator. We’ve been cut off!” Tentomon moaned.
“Sunset! Guard Izzy and Tentomon!” Leo told the Rainboom.
“On it!” Sunset ran to help the genius.
T.K. walked up to Gladitron armed with the scepter in hand. Gladitron laughed. “Well well. Come to join your friend in pain?”
“I’m gonna make you pay for what you did to Kari!” T.K. glared. T.K. put up a good fight, but Gladitron broke his scepter, causing him to fall back. Before Gladitron could hit him, Garurumon jumped on him, biting him like before. But this time, Gladitron threw the wolf off, causing him to revert back to Gabumon. Matt watched in horror as his brother and partner were being beaten. Patamon tried to help, but was no match for Gladitron. Matt looked back to see the other’s having their hands full to help. Seeing there was no choice, he reached in his bag and pulled out the power core. T.K. saw and gasped.
Izzy saw as well. “No, Matt! It’s too risky!”
“Oh no!” Karai gasped.
“Matt, no!” Shine Boy cried.
“Noo!” shouted Leo.
“Wait! Don’t!” Sunset cried.
“Matt! Don’t!” T.K. hollered.
“Gabumon!” Matt hollered. Gabumon looked up and nodded, ready to take the risk.
“Don’t!” T.K. yelled.
“Don’t do it!” Izzy begged.
But there was no going back. Matt put the core up to his Digivice, which started to glow just like Gabumon.
“Gabumon warp digivolve to…… MetalGarurumon!”
After the glow diminished, Gabumon was now a purple metal wolf with yellow jet wings as he confronted Gladitron before he could get near T.K. he then turned to him.
“T.K. get outta here!”
“Wait! But what if-?” T.K asked before he was interrupted.
“I’ll be alright. Now go!” barked MetalGarurumon.
T.K., seeing there was nothing he could do, hurried to the fire exit as MetalGarurumon battled Gladitron. Before he could enter, he hesitated as he remembered what the others said to him.
“T.K., you can’t let one mistake stop you from helping.”
“If you keep doubting yourself, even the simplest abilities become difficult.”
“There’s always hope at even the darkest moment.”
Finally, his brother words kept repeating in his head.
“The T.K. I knew would never give up so easily! I know deep down that hope in you is still in you.”
It was there T.K. knew what he had to do.
Meanwhile, MetalGarurumon was beating Gladitron easily.
“Garuru Tomahawk!” he fired a missile from his chest at him before grinning at Matt. “Yeah!”
“Just like old times.” Matt thumbed up.
Suddenly, MetalGarurumon cringed in pain and started to revert back to Gabumon and back again.
“What’s wrong?” Matt gasped.
“I’m….. losing…..” MetalGarurumon started before reverting back to Gabumon. “power. Gotta …keep it…” he then reverted back to MetalGarurumon. “Together.”
Gladitron got back up and walked up to the metal wolf and grabbed him by the neck.
“Not so tough now, are you?” he boasted before throwing him into Matt, hurting his shoulder.
Matt could only hold MetalGarurumon as they cringed from their pain. “Sorry, buddy. Didn’t want to get you hurt.”
“You wanted to help T.K. and so did I. neither of us are at fault.” MetalGarurumon grinned.
Everyone could only watch in horror as they kept battling Gem Knights and Gladitron walked up to them. “Your defeat will be a pleasure!”
“No!” everyone cried as Gladitron prepared to strike Matt and MetalGarurumon when suddenly.
“Gladitron!”
Everyone looked to see T.K. walking up with Patamon at his side.
Gladitron just laughed. “What? Did you make enough mistakes that you surrender?”
T.K. looked unfazed. “Yeah I make mistakes. Because I’m human. But I’m also Digidestined!”
He held up his Digivice, which began to glow very bright along with Patamon. Matt smiled to see his brother stepping back up.
“Patamon digivolve to……. Angemon!”
Angemon was a tall angel wearing a helmet that covered his eyes, had brown long hair, three pairs of wings, and a golden staff.
The others looked in awe.
“An angel? Now that’s style.” Shine Boy smiled.
“Not bad.” Karai smiled.
“Cool.” Leo grinned.
“Amazing.” Awed Sunset.
Gladitron, however, was not impressed. “Oh, now you want a piece of me?”
Angemon answered by tackling him and punching him rapidly. T.K. hurried to his brother and helped him up.
“You were here to see if you guys could help us, weren’t you?” he guessed.
“Yep. But it didn’t stop me from helping my bro.” Matt smiled as T.K smiled back.
Meanwhile, Angemon held his hand up as it began to glow. “Hand of Fate!” he cried as he charged at Gladitron.
Thinking quickly, Gladitron threw MetalGarurumon between them just as he did with Nefertimon. Everyone feared that this would a repeat of last time before T.K. hollered to his partner.
“Angemon! Now!”
“Angel Staff!” Angemon used his staff to pole point over MetalGarurumon and hit Gladitron with his previous attack. Meanwhile, Leo, Sunset, Karai, and Shine Boy defeated the last of the Gem Knights and hurried to the two brothers, along with Izzy and Tentomon.
“You okay, Matt?” Leo asked.
“Yeah. Just my shoulder.” Matt grinned.
“Give it up, Gladitron. You’re beaten!” Shine Boy declared.
Gladitron, despite being beaten up, chuckled rising from the smoke. “I would have if Stockman didn’t send me backup!”
He snapped his fingers as Stock bots landed on the building.
“OH COME ON!” Sunset screamed as the others groaned.
“I don’t suppose we could call a timeout.” Shine Boy sighed.
“Can you still fight?” Matt asked MetalGarurumon, who managed to get back up.
“I think I can make it.” The wolf growled.
“I’ll back him up.” Angemon assured.
“Give me a moment and I’ll digivolve again!” Tentomon added.
The Stockbots prepared to fire when suddenly….
“MEGA CLAW!”
The first row was wiped away by an attack. Then, another figure landed in front of the heroes. He was an orange figure wearing yellow armor with shield-like wings, arm claws, and his helmet resembled a dinosaur with three horns.
“Wargreymon!” Matt, T.K., and Izzy cried.
“That’s Wargreymon?” Shine Boy asked. “Cool.”
“Then that would mean…” Izzy started before another voice came up.
“Hey, you!”
Everyone turned to see a high schooler the same size as Matt with big bushy brown hair.
“I have a bone to pick with you about my sister!”
“Tai?” Matt and Izzy cried.
“So that’s Tai.” Sunset added.
Tai ran to the others. “Sorry I’m late.”
“Actually, you came at the right time.” Matt smiled.
“How did you get here?” Izzy asked.
“Gennai wanted me to check on you guys and I kinda got lost.” Tai rubbed the back of his head. “But I found some backup.”
Then, The other Turtles, Ninjas, Rainbooms, Team Shine, Digidestined, and Night Shine came up and joined the group.
“Tai appeared in the lair and asked where to find you guys.” Donnie explained. “Luckily, Yolei used her Digivice to locate you guys since I haven’t upgraded our T phones.”
“See you guys had a party.” Raph smirked. “Is the buffet open?”
“All you can beat.” Leo assured.
“I call first dibs.” Grinned Night Shine.
“How’s Wargreymon?” Izzy asked Tai.
“Seems to be doing fine. Besides, I shared a little with Kari.” Tai pointed to Kari and Gatomon, who was now Angewomon, a female version of Angemon.
“How are you still alive?” barked Gladitron.
“It’ll take more than a big bully like you to stomp us!” Kari yelled.
Tai turned to Matt. “Think you have enough to pull it off?”
Matt smiled, knowing what he meant. “We won’t be at full strength but it’ll be enough to put this jerk in his place.”
Matt and Tai fist bumped while Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon nodded and began to glow in one bright light.
“WarGreymon/MetalGarurumon DNA Digivolve to….”
When the light faded, both were gone. In their place was a tall white knight with a red cape. On his left hand was WarGreymon’s head as his shield was on his shoulder. On his right was MetalGarurumon’s head with a spiked shoulder pad.
“Omnimon!”
“Impressive!” Love Shine gasped.
“Cool.” Casey grinned.
“Omnimon?” Mikey asked. “I probably would’ve called him Omegamon, but I think Omnimon will do.”
“Mikey!” everyone shouted.
Angemon turned to the others. “Leave Gladitron to us. The rest of you deal with the robots!”
“Will do.” Twilight nodded.
As the groups battled the Stockbots, Omnimon, Angewomon, and Angemon battled Gladitron. While he wasn’t at full strength, Omnimon still battled Gladitron using his Transended sword extended from WarGreymon’s head. Gladitron then fired from his blaster as Omnimon extended a cannon from MetalGarurumon’s head.
“Supreme Cannon!” the beams clashed with each other. As the two struggled, Angewomon flew to the side and her glove extended into a bow.
“Celestial Arrow!” she fired an energy arrow at Gladitron’s blaster, disarming him. Before he could grab it, Angemon held his staff at Gladitron’s throat. After a moment of silence, Angemon lowered his staff.
“Go ahead!” he ordered. “Pick it up and get outta here!”
Seeing he was beaten, Gladitron grabbed his blaster and faced the Angel. “You’ll regret not ending me!” he pushed the button and vanished.
Shine Boy glared as he said to himself. “Next time, you won’t get off so easily. I’ll see to that.”
Gamer sighed. “I thought he’d never leave.”
After the Stockbots were beaten, Angemon reverted to Patamon, Angewomon to Gatomon, and Omnimon to Gabumon and an orange dinosaur named Agumon. Leo used the Healing Hands on Matt’s shoulder, healing it.
“Thanks.” Matt smiled as Tai shook Leo’s hand.
“And thank you for helping my sister.”
“My pleasure.” Leo smiled.
Agumon shook. “Whew! Any longer as WarGreymon and I would have needed that.”
“It wasn’t as bad as Gladitron.” Gabumon assured his friend as Fluttershy hugged him.
Meanwhile, Kari walked up T.K. with a concerned look on her face.
“I was so worried how upset you would be about earlier.” She said.
T.K. took a deep breath. “I’m really sorry I got you hurt.”
“T.K., I’ve known you for years. You would never hurt a fellow Digidestined on purpose. And I know how you get against the forces of darkness. Besides, it was all Gladitron, not you.”
T.K. and Kari smiled at each other. Mikey smiled at the sight.
“Aw! Those two are so cute together.” He sighed.
“WHAT?” Mikey turned to see Davis all up on his face. “Are you saying Kari and I aren’t sweet?”
Mikey screamed as Davis started to chase him. “What is it with you Digidestined being sensitive about match making!”
T.K and Kari couldn’t help but laugh. “Some things never change.” Kari sighed.
“So, are you guys going to stay and help us, despite the power core not working?” April asked.
“We’d love to, but we better get back to The Digital World and tell Gennai about this.” Izzy stated.
“Besides, looks like you guys got it covered.” Tai grinned, giving a thumbs up.
“But if you guys need help, let us know, okay?” Matt pointed out.
“We’ll let you know faster than you can say Booyakasha!” Mikey said before Davis continued to chase him.
“Booya…. What now?” Matt raised a brow.
“Booyakasha. It’s sort of their battle cry.” Kari explained.
“I like it.” Tai grinned.
“Me too.” Agumon chimed in.
“Oh great. Tai learned a catchphrase he likes.” Izzy facepalmed before Tai scowled at him.
“You’re one to talk, Mr. Prodigious.” He said bluntly.
Tai then along with Matt, T.K., and Kari high fived together before all four shouted together.
Gladitron had rested after his defeat against Angemon, Omnimon, and Angewomon and was back on his feet overnight. He was explaining his encounter to Ripley, Lewej, Devimon, and Stockman.
“There are more Digidestined?” Baxter gasped.
“I wouldn’t be surprised one bit.” Devimon glared.
“That brat and his friends are increasing in numbers! Even Night Shine is helping him!” Lewej growled.
Ripley, on the other hand, was still calm. “How is your portal machine, Stockman?”
“We’re right on schedule. It’ll be done by tomorrow.”
“Good. Gladitron! Make sure we have dozens of Gem Knights by tonight.”
“By your command, Sire.” Gladitron got up and walked out.
Lewej held Ripley’s arm as she smiled at her. “Anything I can do for you, Dearest?”
“Have Merton bring the Miner Bots.”
Lewej slid her finger on Ripley’s shoulder before she walked off, leaving Ripley with Devimon.
“It’ll be a bit before we teleport the Digimon you requested.”
Devimon smirked. “No matter. I have something very deceptive for our friends.” ----
Down, at the lair, Veemon was getting ready to swat a cupcake with Casey’s cricket bat like a golf club as Casey, Raph, and Davis act like sports announcers.
“Veemon steps up to the plate.” Casey called.
“He readies himself as he prepares to take the shot.” Raph said while petting Chompy.
“And…. The pitch!” Davis chimed as Veemon hit the cupcake. It flew to the kitchen area and Armadillomon caught it with his mouth and ate it.
“Bullseye!” Pinkie cheered.
Shine Boy was sitting at the TV area, reading a book and eating colored candy-coated chocolates when Raph called to him.
“Hey Shine Boy. Wanna take a whack at it?”
Shine Boy didn’t respond.
“What? You’re too good to respond?” Raph irked.
Shine Boy only turned a page. Upset, Raph stomped over to him.
“Um Raph? Maybe you shouldn’t bother him.” Fluttershy mentioned.
But Raph didn’t hear the shy girl.
“Not the N and Ns!” Wormmon quickly grabbed the bowl of candy-coated chocolates before Raph kicked them. But before Raph could grab Shine Boy, he quickly grabbed his hand and turned to the hot-headed turtle, revealing he had earphones on the whole time. He then looked sternly at Raph.
“Something I can help you with?”
“No. sorry to bother you.” Raph answered bluntly. After Shine Boy released him, Raph walked back to the others before turning back to Shine Boy.
Love Shine walked up to him. “Don’t take it too hard. Shine Boy takes a moment every day to collect his thoughts. Consider it his way of meditating.”
“Terrific. Another Leo.” Raph rolled his eyes.
“Someone mentioned me?”
Everyone looked to see Leo, Karai, Sunset Shimmer, T.K., Kari, and Night Shine walking out of the dojo after finishing their training.
Raph rolled his eyes. “no.”
Night Shine went to the fridge and opened the freezer where Ice Cream Kitty handed him a bottle of root beer. After he closed the door, he opened the bottle and took a drink. “Any word from the Brainiacs?”
“Donnie assured me that he, Twilight, Fugitoid, Gamer, and Andromon are almost done upgrading the equipment. So we better not disturb them.” April answered.
Just then, Donnie, Twilight, Gamer, Fugitoid, and Andromon emerged from the lab.
“Great news, Everyone! We’re all finished!” Donnie declared.
“After much calculations, The ShellRaiser and Party Wagon can now work while being around electrical disturbances caused by Digimon.” Twilight added.
“As well as Metalhead and myself.” Fugitoid smiled.
“And Andromon even helped me to upgrade the T Phones as well. I even made one for the Digidestined and Team Shine.” Donnie held up a pile of T Phones which everyone each took one.
“Happy to help.” Andromon saluted.
“I think it’s time we find Stockman and his buddies and take them on!” Keno grinned.
“I’m ready.” Shine Boy shut his book.
“I need to take time to recharge so I must sit this one out.” Andromon stated.
“We understand.” Kari smiled.
“Okay, team! Let’s move out!” Leo called as they all headed out. ---
After parking the vehicles in an alleyway, Leo split the team into four groups. He took Twilight, Sunset, Karai, Shine Boy, Davis, and Ken with them around the east part of town.
“Good thing Gamer made these trackers. If there’s any Digital energy around here, we’ll find it.” Twilight explained as she led the group with a handheld device.
“Hopefully, it’ll lead us to Ripley, Lewej, and Stockman.” Shine Boy stated.
Davis turned to Leo in secret. “Hey, Leo, Could I ask you something?”
“Sure, Davis. What’s up?”
“What’s up with you and Twilight?”
Leo froze. “Uuuuuuuuh….”
“Come on. Why does she like you so much? And do you like like her?” Davis got up to the leader in blue.
Veemon smirked. “I bet you want him to help you get Kari to like you.”
“Veemon!” Davis grit his teeth.
“It’s…… complicated.” Leo breathed.
Shine Boy walked between the two. “Hey, you two! We may have to save that conversation for later.”
“Fine.” Davis sighed.
Shine Boy whispered to Karai. "Besides, it's obvious she has a thing for T.K."
"Seems that way." Karai whispered back.
Everyone noticed Twilight stopped, looking up with her jaw dropped and the tracker was beeping like crazy.
“Found something?” Sunset asked.
“Yeah. That!” Twilight pointed to a giant samurai-like figure stomping towards them drawing his large katana blade.
“Dang!” Shine Boy gasped.
“Is that a Digimon?” Karai asked.
“It is.” Ken feared. “That’s Musyamon, a samurai Digimon!”
“He doesn’t look happy to see us.” Sunset noticed his eyes were glowing red.
“I’m not real keen to see him either.” Shine Boy sweated.
“Everyone! Take’em down!” Leo cried as they drew their weapons and Davis and Ken held up their Digivices and Veemon and Wormmon began to glow.
“Veemon digivolve to……. ExVeemon!”
“Wormmon digivolve to……… Stingmon!”
The two joined in fighting Musyamon. ---
Around the Chinatown area, Raph led Casey, Love Shine, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Night Shine and Cody around the streets with Love Shine working the tracker.
“According to the tracker Don gave me, there’s a faint spike of Digital energy in this area.” He stated.
“Everyone stay alert.” Applejack ordered.
“At least the Purple Dragons ain’t around.” Casey noticed.
“Or the Turks.” Rainbow added.
“Probably went into hiding.” Raph figured.
“Sure, they did.” Night Shine rolled his eyes.
Cody noticed the ground was shaking by a puddle. “looks like something found us!”
Everyone looked up to see a giant black Tyrannosaurus creature stomping towards them with glowing red eyes.
“DarkTyrannomon? What in the hay is he doing here?” Armadillomon gasped.
“DarkTyrannomon?” Night Shine scowled as he pulled out his twin hatchets. “I’ll show him dark!”
“Is it just me or are you getting the feeling of déjà vu all over again?” Rainbow asked Applejack and Raph, recalling their prehistoric adventure.
“Then you know what we have to do.” Raph said as he drew his sais.
“Eyup.” Applejack nodded before turning to Cody. “Armadillomon have a form to take this brute?”
“As a matter of fact, he does, Applejack! Let’s show them!” Cody held up his Digivice as it and Armadillomon began to glow.
“Right! Armadillomon digivolve to…….. Ankylomon!”
“whoa.” Love Shine gasped at the sight of the ankylosaurus.
“Metal.” Casey grinned as he put on his mask.
“Get’em!” Raph cried as they all battled the Trex Digimon. ----
In the northern part of town, Donnie led Gamer, April, Yolei, Fugitoid, Keno, and Rarity as he looked at his tracker.
“Gotta admit, Gamer, these digital trackers were a good idea.” Donnie complimented.
“Very ingenious.” Hawkmon added.
“If we’re lucky, it can even lead us to the bad guys.” Gamer hoped.
“That be good.” Fugitoid added.
“no kidding.” Whispered Keno.
"Better to get this over with." Rarity sighed.
Suddenly, The tracker beeped like crazy.
“Whoa! We got a hot one!” Donnie added.
“But I’m not feeling anything.” April felt her head before she turned around and gasped.
Everyone turned to see a swarm of giant bees looking down at them buzzing angrily.
"BEES!" shrieked Rarity.
“Giant Bees!” cried Keno.
“Flymon?! Where they come from?” Yolei gasped.
“How did I not sense them?” April was confused.
“I guess we’ll figure that out after we beat them all.” Donnie figured as he pulled out his staff.
“Allow me to even the odds!” Yolei declared as she held up her glowing Digivice.
“Hawkmon digivolve to….. Aquilamon!”
“Perfecto! Let’s swat these bugs!” Yolei jumped on the giant bird who flew up. “Booyakasha!”
“I don’t know what she had for a breakfast, but I want some.” Gamer said as he drew his sword.
“Gotta admit. She shows enthusiasm.” April sighed as Keno shrugged.
"Must've picked that up from Rainbow Dash." Rarity mumbled.
“Let’s help her!” Donnie declared as they all joined the battle.

Meanwhile, Mikey, Shinigami, Shine Girl, Pinkie, Fluttershy, T.K., and Kari were in Central Park with Shine Girl leading with the tracker in hand.
“I think the signal’s coming from here.” She said before noticing the tracker beeped slowly. “Now the signal’s getting weaker.”
“I betcha that Digimon is messing with us.” Mikey declared.
“I think you’re not wrong, Mikey.” T.K. agreed.
“I hope it’s not a big one, like Kuwagamon.” Gulped Fluttershy.
“Knowing our luck, they’re gonna be that big, Fluttershy.” Kari shrugged.
“Don’t worry. I’m sure we can take it, right Michelangelo?” Shini winked at the party dude.
“You bet we will!” Mikey beamed walking a little bit ahead.
Kari walked up to the witch girl. “You really like Mikey, don’t you?”
“He knows how to make me laugh.”
“Think you can teach me some of those moves?”
“Who you trying to impress?”
Kari leaned closer and whispered in Shinigami’s ear. As they whispered, they kept looking back at T.K., who blinked at the sight.
Pinkie leaned up to him. “Oooo! I wonder who they’re talking about?” Shine Girl hid a chuckle.
T.K. blushed before shaking it off. “I-I’m sure she’s gonna use them on Davis!”
“You sure?”
Before T.K. could answer, The tracker began to beep like crazy as Shine Girl pointed to where Mikey was.
“MICHELANGELO! GET OUTTA THERE!”
As Mikey ran, behind him emerged a giant mole creature with a drill for a nose.
“Uh friend of yours?” Shini asked the two Digidestined.
“That’s Drimogemon!” T.K. answered.
“But something’s off with him.” Kari noticed the glowing red eyes.
“Well you know what we have to do.” Shine Girl insisted as they drew their weapons.
T.K. and Kari nodded as they held up their Digivices as they cried. “Digi Armor Energize!”
“Gatomon armor digivolve to…… Nefertimon, Angel of Light!”
“Okay! Anybody got a plan?” Shine Girl asked.
“Maybe Fluttershy can use her Stare on them?” Pinkie pushed Fluttershy close.
“I don’t think it works on Digimon.” Shivered Fluttershy, hiding behind Pinkie.
“Then what else can we do?” Mikey pondered.
“If we can keep him still, we might blast him hard enough to come to his senses.” Nefertimon suggested.
“Worth a shot. Booyakasha!” Mikey led the charge.
As Shine Girl and Fluttershy distracted Drimogemon while Mikey, Shini, and Pinkie wrapped his legs with the chains of their weapons, holding him long enough for Pegasusmon and Nefterimon to get a hit on him.
“Cat’s eye beam!”
“Equus Beam!”
Both attacks hit as Mikey, Shini, and Pinkie released their chains and dove out of the way. After the blast was done, Mikey noticed he was on Shini and quickly got off her while Shini chuckled while brushing her hair.
Shine Girl rushed to them. “Are you guys okay?”
“Fine!” Mikey gasped before clearing his throat. “everything’s fine.”
“Look!” Fluttershy cried.
Everyone looked to see as the smoke cleared, Drimogemon was still standing. But parts of him were missing, including his left eye.
“Is that natural?” Shinigami asked.
“Not at all. Usually, a Digimon deletes in small particles. But not like this!” T.K. explained.
“I don’t think that is a Digimon.” Kari stated.
“Then you won’t mind me doing THIS!” Pinkie threw sprinkles at Drimogemon, resulting in the giant creature exploding into a giant shadow.
“Nice work, team!” Mikey cried. “I wonder what that was if not a Digimon?”
“What was that thing?” Fluttershy asked.
“That’s what we like to know.”
They looked to see the other groups hurrying towards them while Aquilamon carried his group through the air.
“Are you guys okay?” Leo asked.
“Yeah. We just fought something that we thought was a Digimon.” Mikey answered.
“Same as us.” Raph stated.
“The way they were looking at us, when they came up behind us without April sensing them, somebody was messing with us.” Donnie hypothesized.
“Or worse! They were setting us up!” Gamer gasped.
“Aw! You ruined our surprise, Game Boy!”
The group turned to see Ripley, Lewej, and Baxter in his recent robot outfit with a couple Gem Knights.
“Dexter Longarm?!” Pinkie gasped.
“Baxter Stockman. It’s Baxter Stockman! How many times do I have to tell you insignificant brats before it goes into your thick skulls!”
"Hate hearing the wrong name? Then wear a NAME TAG!" Night Shine grilled
Shine Boy glared at the other two villains. “Ripley. Lewej.”
“Surprised to see us, Shine Brat?” Ripley smirked.
“Not after fighting your Gem Knights for the umpteenth time.” Gamer stated.
Ripley looked at the group. “So these are the Ninja Turtles and Rainbooms Stockman told me about. As well as their allies and the Digidestined that dared interfered with my plans.” He then pointed to Fugitoid. “And Professor Honeycutt. Gladitron told me rumors of your demise have been misleading.”
“And I suppose you want the Black Hole Generator?” Fugitoid hissed.
“On the contrary, I should thank you for destroying that machine as well as those brainless Triceratons! Now it won’t be used against me and that fool Mozar will be out of my hair. And for that, I offer you an opportunity. Join me and I will give you everything for your research.”
“I’m quite happy with my life here on Earth!” Fugitoid snapped. “Besides, I will not use my technology to threaten the universe again!”
Lewej looked at her nails. “Such a pity, professor, because a certain friend of ours said the same thing and look how he turned out.”
Fugitoid could only show angry eyes remembering his collegue who created Love Shine’s suit.
“Give it up! You’re not opening anymore digital portals on our watch!” declared Rainbow Dash.
“And who’s gonna stop us?” Lewej snapped. “you think teaming up with mutants, high schoolers, and digital monsters gives you an advantage?”
“Better than an idiot with an ego problem and a showoff!” Night Shine snapped back.
“Then I guess it’s time we introduce you all to our latest member of our team.”
The three made way as Devimon emerged from the ground laughing.
“No. It can’t be!” T.K. gasped.
“It’s Devimon!” Ken said in shock, recalling his time in the dark whirlpool.
“That’s Devimon?” Sunset gasped.
“That’s right, Digidestined! I’m back! And I will have my-” Devimon declared before noticing something. “Wait a minute, you’re not the ones I faced!” he pointed to T.K. “But I remember you! The boy with the Patamon who defeated me!”
“And We will defeat you like we did back then!” T.K snarled.
“Not likely! Thanks to the mutagen Stockman used to revive me, I’m much stronger than before!”
“Just try us! Get’em, ExVeemon!” Davis cried as ExVeemon charged at the villains.
“Davis, NO!” Shine Boy tried to stop him, but he was too late. Devimon smacked Exveemon away like a ragdoll, causing him to revert to Veemon.
“Get’em!” Leo ordered as they drew their weapons.
“We’ll deal with Devimon. You guys get the other three!” Stingmon instructed then flew to Devimon, only for Devimon to grab him and slam him down multiple times before throwing him aside as he reverted into Wormmon. The other Digimon didn’t do so well either. They were either blasted or thrown aside as well and reverted back to their Rookie forms as well. The Turtles then tried to face him to protect the Digidestined, only for them finding it very difficult. April, Karai, and Shini fought the Gem Knights while Shine Boy and Night Shine fought Ripley, The Rainbooms tried to fight Lewej, and Love Shine, Gamer, and Shine Girl fought Baxter. Ripley used cheating tactics to own Shine Boy and Night Shine then slammed their heads together as they groaned in pain. Lewej used her crystal to overwhelm the Rainbooms with lightning. In his armor, Baxter was more than a match for Love Shine, Shine Girl, and Gamer and overwhelmed them, resulting in him hurting Gamer’s arm.
As the heroes lie beaten, Baxter laughed. “In the end do you truly understand! None of you were a match against The wrath of us! You Turtles and your friends will-” he stopped when he noticed something missing. “wait a minute! Where’s that Jones kid? And that other vigilante kid?”
Then, as if answering his question, The Shell Raiser and Party Wagon drove up between the villains and the heroes. The windows roll down revealing it being Casey and Keno behind the wheels with Casey in the ShellRaiser and Keno driving the Party Wagon.
“C’mon!” Casey cried.
“Bus is leaving!” Keno added.
The Digidestined helped April, Karai, and Shini get the Turtles, Rainbooms, and Team Shine in the vehicles. Shine Boy had enough strength to blind the villains with a smoke bomb to buy time to escape. Once they got everyone, Casey and Keno charged the vehicles at the villains, who jumped out of the way.
“Goongala!” they both cried.
“Thanks for the save, fellas.” Applejack panted.
“I'm just glad we weren’t too late.” Casey nodded.
“Really, Really glad Leo had us both get the vehicles” Keno breathed.
Jewej growled as they watched the heroes escape. “They’re getting away!”
“Then let me give them a parting gift!” Devimon smirked then used his powers to make a new imposter Digimon. This one was a giant gargoyle like creature that looked a lot like Devimon. “Get them.” He ordered it. The creature roared and flew after the two vehicles.
As Casey and Keno drove the Shellraiser and Party Wagon, The Turtles and Rainbooms started to regain conscious.
“So this Devimon can create shadows from other Digimon?” Raph groaned.
“Well. He never did create Digimon, he usually possessed them, but the closest he did of illusions was tricking up into thinking we were in a hotel and ended up separating each other.” T.K. remembered.
“Maybe the mutagen enhanced his abilities.” Sunset pondered.
“Wouldn’t surprise me” Gamer stated before holding his hurt arm.
Suddenly, a loud clang was heard as the two vehicles were suddenly stopped.
“What was that?” Applejack cried.
“Look!” Cody gasped.
They all looked to see the gargoyle holding the two vehicles.
“It’s a Devidramon!” Cried Davis.
“Is it another shadow?” Fugitoid wondered.
“Shadow or not, he’s got us big time!” Casey grunted as he tried to speed away.
“What do we do now?” Twilight feared.
“If we could throw something at it, it might get distracted long enough for us to escape!” Leo suggested.
“With what? Everything’s bolted to the floor!” Donnie snapped.
As He looked around the Shellraiser, Leo noticed Shine Boy climbing to the hatch.
“Shine Boy! What’re you doing?” he cried.
“You heard Donatello! I’m gonna keep that thing busy long enough for you guys to get outta here!”
Everyone was shocked to hear this.
“B-but you won’t make it.” Sunset feared.
“It’s why I’m here.” Shine Boy consoled his friends before he opened the hatched.
“No!” Karai cried.
Shine Boy stood on top of the Shellraiser. As he charged at Devidramon, his hands began to glow brightly. He punched the gargoyle so hard it released the two vehicles. Everyone could only watch in horror as a portal opened up, swallowing Devidramon as well as Shine Boy then vanished.
After a moment of silence, Applejack finally spoke. “C’mon, Case. We need to get back to the lair.”
Casey nodded and drove the Shellraiser away with the Party Wagon not far behind. ----
Later, in the lair, everyone was sad for the loss of their friend. Fluttershy and Pinkie were bawling while Twilight embraced Leo, Donnie and April, Rarity with Love Shine, and Yolei with Ken. Only Night Shine was more angry than sad as he punched the pinball machine.
“You’re all pathetic!” he screamed. “I warned you all to not make me regret joining you. Now you blew it!”
“Look, I know how you feel.” Raph tried to reason with Night Shine only to be punched in the gut really hard and ended up on his knees.
“You. Know. NOTHING!” Night Shine growled before he stomped out of the lair. On his way out, he past Karai, who shot a glare at him.
“I guess he’s out.” Davis sighed.
Love Shine, Shine Girl, and Gamer were all sulking for loosing their team leader. They each remembered their last moment with Shine Boy.
Earlier that day, Shine Boy secretly gathered his team for a little talk.
“What’s happening, bud?” Love Shine greeted.
“I’m just concerned how tough Ripley and Lewej have made things since we came to New York, especially after our encounter with Gladitron. I’m just worried one of us would get hurt. Or worse.”
“That is true. It’s always guaranteed to get injuries at times like these.” Gamer pondered.
“Well, I want you three to promise me that if one of us goes down, we’ll help our new friends no matter what see this through to the end.”
“We will.” Shine Girl promised.
“You can count on me, Bro.” Gamer stated.
“Same.” Love Shine swore.
Shine Boy smiled at his team. “I will make the same promise. And if these are my last words to you guys, you all are a great team.”
Back in the present, Leo walked up to the three.
“If you guys wish to leave, we understand.” He bowed.
“I’m not.” Love Shine stood up. “I’m staying. And help you guys win.”
“YES!” Rarity cheered before gaining her composure. “I mean, that’s wonderful.”
“I’m sure I can still help Donnie, Twilight, Fuge, and Andromon.” Gamer offered.
Donnie and Twilight smiled.
“It’s what Shine Boy would’ve wanted.” Shine Girl nodded.
Then, Karai walked up to the trio. “I promise you three. They will pay for what they did to our friend.”
Gamer then hugged Karai at the waist. Surprised at first, Karai then hugged him back.
Leo then held his hand out. “For Shine Boy.”
One by one, everyone else put their hand on top of his hand, even the Digimon joined in, and everyone had the same response.
After losing Shine Boy, The Turtles, allies, Rainbooms, Digidestined, and the rest of Team Shine worked and trained hard to defeat Ripley, Lewej, Stockman, and Devimon and to avenge their friend. After hours of training, Davis walked around the lair, seeing the Digimon watching Space Heroes the New Generation. He was about to enter the dojo, he heard Leo talking to some of the others and decided to listen in.
“I know Davis is a bit one track minded, but he has to have some good qualities if he’s the leader.” Leo told the group.
“Are you kidding? He makes Mikey look smart.” Raph retorted. “Think about it, Leo, he always wanting to jump into a battle without thinking and only cares about his wants! Plus, he always says the stupidest things.”
Davis heard everything and looked dismal.
“Y’know what? I can take a hint.” He said to himself and headed out of the lair. Veemon looked up from the TV and saw him leaving and followed him out.
“Don’t you think you’re being a little too hard on him, Raph?” Sunset asked.
Raph sighed. “I don’t know. Maybe. Just after Night Shine left and Shine Boy’s gone, we just can’t make any more chances, especially since they have Devimon.”
“I understand, Raph. But we shouldn’t let this affect us like Sensei did.” Leo assured his brother.
“I can relate.” Yolei spoke. “When we decided to not leave the Digital World until we beat The Digimon Emperor, I made it worry me, so I became a take charge kind of girl, which resulted in getting Hawkmon hurt. I was so broken I was afraid the others wouldn’t want me around. But they forgave me and let me stay after Kari and Gatomon helped Hawkmon heal.”
T.K. spoke up. “And it was Davis’ one tracked mind that got us through tough times. He never knew how to accept defeat. When Kimeramon defeated our Digimon, Davis knew we may never get another chance to stop the Digimon Emperor, not when we were so close. So he dove in at the engine room of the base and discovered the Golden DigiEgg of Miracles, then used it to Veemon to armor Digivolve to Magnamon, who radiated enough energy for our Digimon so we could escape while Magnamon fought and defeated Kimeramon.”
“When Ken was working to redeem himself, most of us weren’t ready to forgive him.” Cody stated. “But Davis believed he did change and kept trying to change our minds. Even Ken couldn’t forgive himself. And when we had to deal with Arukennimon, Davis kept trying to convince Ken to help, which resulted in learning DNA Digivolving. It was our best attack against Arukennimon’s creation, BlackWarGreymon.”
“And when we faced MaloMyotismon, we were too scared to face him because he could use fear to destroy his foes, like how he destroyed Arukennimon and Mummymon. Davis however knew he had to hide his fear and after helping us resist his temptations, we were able to get it together to face MaloMyotismon.” Kari finished.
“That’s…. pretty amazing.” Twilight admitted.
"See, Raph. Maybe Davis is capable after all." Mikey chimed in.
“Maybe.” Raph sighed.
Just then, Ken entered the dojo with April, Fluttershy, and Donnie. “Has anyone seen Davis?”
“Not since practice.” Love Shine pondered.
“Veemon’s gone, too!” April added.
“He was with the other Digimon watching Space Heroes and the next I turned, hes gone.” Fluttershy feared.
“Should we go find him?” Karai asked Leo.
“I’m sure he’ll be fine. Besides, we should try to prepare for battle.” ----
Up on the surface, Davis walked from the alley as Veemon caught up with him.
“What’s wrong, Davis?” Veemon spoke.
“Apparently, I’m too stupid to help out those guys!” Davis turned to his partner. “Do you think I’m stupid?”
“No way! I say you’re as smart as Mikey!”
Davis looked bluntly at the Digimon. “Gee thanks.”
“You’re gonna prove yourself to them, aren’t ya?”
“You bet I am.” Davis answered.
“Count me in! So, what do we do?”
“I was thinking we could find their headquarters and sabotage their plans!” Davis grinned.
“Not a good idea.”
Davis and Veemon looked to see Night Shine jump from the fire escape.
“I thought you left!” Davis gasped.
“Never said I was leaving New York. I wanted to do things my way without any distractions.”
“Then you probably don’t wanna hang out with an idiot.” Davis was about to leave only for Night Shine to grab his collar.
“Relax. Maybe you could help me.”
Davis looked at Night Shine. “How?”
Night Shine released Davis and explained. “I might need one of you Digidestined kids to find that portal that swallowed Shine Boy.”
Davis perked up. “You mean Shine Boy could still be alive?”
“I know he’s alive!” Night Shine stated. “I just need help to find and bring him back!”
“Well, what are we waiting for?” Davis grinned as he walked with Night Shine to the rooftops. ----
Meanwhile, in an alleyway, a portal opened as Shine Boy fell from it. Knocked out at first, he slowly woke up.
“Uh… how long was I out?” he said to himself, rubbing his head.
He looked around to see New York as it was before he left. “Well, it’s safe to say I didn’t travel through time.” He pulled that the T-phone he got from Donnie, only to find it damaged and unusable.
“Great. Guess I’ll have to go to the roofs and see if I can find the others.” He then climbed the nearest fire escape. A little sluggish at first, he was able to get enough strength to get to the roof and look around. Soon, it began to rain.
“Terrific.” He sighed before seeing certain two people in the distance. “Luke? Davis!”
As he was about to chase after them, Shine Boy suddenly felt something hit his arm. He looked to see a tranquilizer on his arm, injecting some knockout drug in him. He looked around to find himself surrounded by Gem Knights, Ripley, Devimon, and Gladitron. He was losing conscious looking for a way out and tried to make a break for it only to be smacked by Gladitron and laid unconscious.
“He has spirit, I’ll give him that! I’m surprised he survived our last encounter” Devimon pondered.
Ripley smirked. “It doesn’t matter. By the time his buddies learn he’s alive and try to rescue him, our plan will come to motion!” ----
Davis, Veemon, and Night Shine then heard a familiar scream.
“Shine Boy!” Davis cried.
They hurried to see Ripley, Devimon, and Gladitron walking away with Gladitron carrying Shine Boy on his shoulder.
“We gotta help him!” Davis declared as he grabbed his Digivice. “Digi Armor Energize!”
“Veemon armor Digivolve to….. Raidramon! The storm of Friendship!”
“Sure. Why not?” Night Shine shrugged as he climbed on the four-legged dragon with Davis.
The bad guys all climbed in a flying vechicle, curtesy of Baxter. As it flew above the buildings, Raidramon ran behind it, trying to catch up to it.
Gladitron noticed them behind them. “We have tagalongs!”
“So the rescue crew has come.” Ripley taunted.
No matter how much they tried to ditch them, Raidramon was still hot on their trail. Just when Raidramon tried to make the jump, Ripley shot an energy ball at him, causing him to fall. As Davis and Raidramon fell, Night Shine jumped off and was about to make the jump when Devimon back handed him then blasted him as well. They all fell to the ground and Raidramon reverted back to Veemon. The three could only watch as the bad guys got away. Night Shine screamed in defeat while Davis bowed his head in sorrow, clinging to Veemon. ----
Later, Davis and Night Shine return to the lair and entered the dojo where Leo and Sunset were practicing their weapon exercise only to get interrupted by the sound of Night Shine slamming equipment down in frustration.
“Davis! Luke! What’s wrong?” Leo asked as he sheathed his swords.
“And where have you been?” Sunset raised a brow at Davis.
“Whataya think happened? We failed! That’s what we did.” Night Shine growled as he sulked at a corner.
“Davis?” Davis looked up at Leo. “Please kneel.”
Davis went up and knelt before Leo and Sunset with Veemon knelt beside him.
“I understand I’m a pathetic excuse for a leader compared to you guys. I’m pig headed. Stupid. Egotistic. Just a failure.”
Leo patted the Digidestined’s shoulder. “Davis, you’re not a failure. Your friends have told us all you have accomplished. You are a brave, caring, heroic person. My Master Splinter once said A leader isn’t about being appreciated. It’s about responsibility. The burden you carry is heavy, yes, but is yours to carry. You’ve proven that by wanting to get the job done and never giving up.”
Sunset added. “We both would be lying if we never said we haven’t had situations where our leadership was tested before. Like the day Leo met Karai. Or the memory stone incident. So we understand what you’re going through.”
“You don’t understand. I screwed up big this time.” Davis pulled out a familiar staff and laid it in front. “They took him.”
Leo and Sunset perked up. “Shine Boy?”
“Yeah.”
“You mean he’s still alive?” Sunset asked.
“Hard to say.”
Leo took a deep breath. “Either way, the time is now.”
Davis bowed again. “I’m with you guys until the end.”
Leo and Sunset smiled as Davis got up and he and Veemon followed them to get the others with Night Shine behind them. ----
Before long, everyone gathered at the center of the lair. Karai and Shini had arrived with The Dazzlings earlier and Davis explained everything to them, causing them to worry for their friend.
“Bro.” Gamer whispered as he clenched his fists.
“What will we do?” Fluttershy asked.
Davis stood up. “I’ll tell you what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna save Shine Boy. Then we save our worlds.”
Leo stood up next. “The time to strike is now. We have to stop Stockman, Ripley, Lewej, and Devimon once and for all!”
“We’re with you until the end, Leo!” Twilight declared as the Rainbooms agreed.
“We’re in as well.” Raph spoke on behalf for his brothers and friends.
“Count us in!” Love Shine pointed out for him, Shine Girl, and Gamer.
“I too shall assist.” Andromon nodded.
“We can help too.” Adagio added.
“And you can count on us!” T.K saluted.
“All of us!” Ken added.
“Then it’s time to have you Digidestined well equipped.” Karai grinned as Sonata pulled up a big bag.
Inside were extra ninja weapons for the Digidestined to use as well as belts with their crests on them. T.K.’s belt had the crest of Hope and holds up a Bo staff. On Kari’s belt was the crest of Light as she accepted a tessen like April’s. Both the crests of Knowledge and Reliability were on Cody’s belt as it strapped over his shoulder holding two kadachi blades. Yolei had the crests of Love and Sincerity on her belt and accepted a kurisama chain and a visor Gamer made to cover her eyes. The belt Ken got had the crest of Kindness on it and held two tonfas. And Davis put on a belt on his shoulder that had the crests of Courage and Friendship on it and got a tribaton. Soon the Digidestined stood ready.
“Let’s save Shine Boy.” Davis declared as they all left the lair.
At the Villain’s hideout, Shine Boy was unconscious sealed in a pod with his hand and feet cuffed. The villains themselves were just about ready with their master plan as Gladitron approached them.
“we are ready to launch.” He told his leaders.
“Good.” Ripley grinned. “then the time to strike is now!”
“Stockman! Launch the portal!” Lewej ordered.
Stockman pulled a couple levers. As he did, a giant circular saucer like ship hovered over New York. Near the ship, armies of Gem Knights were marching in the streets of New York.
“Shouldn’t we wake the brat up?” Lewej pointed to the unconscious Shine Boy.
“He’ll come around.” Ripley smirked. “Only to find everything he holds dear destroyed.”
Meanwhile, Devimon watches from above the ship. “Destruction is at hand!” he chuckled.
Suddenly, smoke appeared in a row of Gem Knights. When one knight looked at the smoke, a giant blue hand grabbed it and pulled it in. the sound of combat was heard. Emerging from the smoke were the Turtles, their allies, Rainbooms, Dazzlings, Digidestined, their Digimon in their Champion forms, Andromon, Night Shine, and the three members of Team Shine who all engaged the Gem Knights.
Ripley noticed. “Figures they’d come to rescue their friend. Nonetheless, we WILL open that portal!”
“Didn’t anyone tell you how manly you look when you’re diabolical?” Lewej flirted as she hugged his arm.
Meanwhile, the Turtles, Rainbooms, the Allies, Dazzlings, Digidestined, Their Digimon, Andromon, Night Shine, and Team Shine were fighting the Gem Knights. The Digidestined were fighting well against the Gem Knights with their weapons. Everyone tag teamed and made it passed the knights. They all looked up to the ship.
“Holy Chalupa! Look at the size of that thing!” Mikey gasped.
“Whoa Nellie!” Applejack whistled.
“I think it’s bigger than the Technodrome!” Casey added.
“Any guesses on where we'll find Shine Boy?” Gamer asked nonchalant.
Everyone all saw Gem Knights stomping their way.
“You guys get up there!” Adagio cried. “We’ll stall them!” The Dazzlings lined up ready to fight.
“I shall assist.” Everyone looked to see Metalhead joining to the Dazzlings.
“Good luck!” Karai grinned.
“Let’s save our friend!” Davis declared.
The Digimon flew everyone up to the ship while Aquilamon and Stingmon helped Ankylomon up with help from April’s ESP.
“Thanks.” Ankylomon smiled as they landed on the ship. “I’ll get the door!” He slammed his tail on the ship, making a hole that everyone jumped into.
As they hurried through, they noticed something huge at the center.
“That’s gotta be the portal to the Digital World!” Donnie analyzed.
“It’s huge!” Twilight gasped.
“Cool! I want one.” Keno said sarcastically.
“Everyone spread out! We should find Shine Boy!” Leo ordered.
“Maybe he’s in here.” Mikey suggested as he opened a door, only to find Stockbots behind it and slammed it shut. “He’s not in there!”
Just then, everyone heard Sunset cry. “Over here! I found him!”
Everyone hurried to see Sunset stand in front of the pod Shine Boy was imprisoned in.
“Step clear!” Gamer placed a device on the capsule and pressed a couple buttons. It beeped a couple times before blowing off the seal. Karai and Night Shine used their blades to break the cuffs off Shine Boy, who regained consciousness and coughed.
“Easy, Shine Boy. We got you.” April comforted as she and Fluttershy helped him out. After being helped out, Shine Boy was slowly regaining his strength as he stood up. Davis then revealed his staff to him.
“You’re gonna need this if you’re gonna help us out of this.” He grinned.
Shine Boy smiled as he accepted his weapon and patted Davis on the shoulder. “I’m gonna need you too.”
Then, they heard laughter and turned to the center of the portal and see Devimon standing there with a canister of mutagen.
“You are all too late! The portal will be open, and we will rule both worlds!” he declared as he opened the canister and poured the mutagen on himself. Then, he began to transform and grow. His claws were massive while his arms and neck look like wires. His pale skin turned turquoise and his wings looked like daggers.
“Once the portal opens, I will take The Digital World by storm!” he laughed.
Gamer used his ski goggles to analyze the ship. “The control panel is one left of the ship and the power core is off to the right while the center for the portal is below us.”
“Call it, Leo.” Shine Boy said.
Leo turned to the group. “Alright, listen up. It’s not gonna be long before they open that portal! We need to sabotage their operation. April, you, Karai, Shinigami, and Casey and get to the control panel and smash it. Keno, take Fugitoid, Andromon, and Luke and smash the power core.”
“We’re on it!” April nodded as the two groups headed to their destinations as Leo continued.
“Shine Boy, you and your group will head to the portal’s center and reverse the portal flow and keep it open. If we can’t defeat Devimon, we can make sure he won’t harm anyone. The rest of us will fight Devimon with a little boost.”
Holding up their medallions, The Turtles joined the Rainbooms with their geodes and transformed into their magical forms.
“And it’s time we join forces together!” Davis declared.
“Let’s do it!” Ken smiled as the two held up their Digivices.
“ExVeemon/Stingmon DNA Digivolve to…….. Paildramon!”
Exveemon and Stingmon combined into a blue green winged creature with guns on his sides.
“You ready?” Kari smiled at Yolei.
“Can’t let them have all the fun.” The smart girl smirked as they both held their Digivices.
“Aquilamon/Gatomon DNA Digivolve to…. Sylphimon!”
Both Aquilamon and Gatomon became a warrior with eagle feet and white fur.
“Our turn!” T.K nodded to Cody.
“Let’s save our worlds!” Cody held up his Digivice.
“Ankylomon/Angemon DNA Digivolve to……. Shakkoumon!”
And finally, Ankylomon and Angemon were now a giant statue like robot.
“Let’s go!” Shine Boy ordered. But as they hurried on a catwalk, Shine Boy was tackled by something and fell to a lower catwalk. Everyone looked to see it was Ripley wielding his double sword.
“Shine Boy!” Everyone cried.
“Don’t worry about me! Get to the portal! I’ll catch up to you soon!” Shine Boy ordered.
Hesitant at first, the group headed to their positions as Shine Boy pulled out his staff and faced Ripley.
“I didn’t kill you because I want you alive as you are destroyed by my hands!” Ripley declared as the two clashed.

April, Karai, Shini, and Casey arrived at the control panel.
“There’s the control panel, like Gamer said.” Karai pointed out.
“Let’s smash it!” Casey pulled out his hockey stick and headed to the panel before April felt a vibe.
“Casey WAIT!”
Suddenly, Casey was shocked by lightning. Everyone looked to see Lewej with her diamond orb floating beside her.
“Uh, yeah we are if you’re gonna destroy or conquer our world!” April remarked.
Lewej frowned. “Just for that, your fates are sealed!” her orb began to glow and rapidly fired lightning at the four who dodged.

Meanwhile, Keno, along with Fugitoid, Andromon, and Night Shine, came to the power core.
“There it is!” He pointed.
“Well, let’s smash it!” Night Shine cracked his knuckles before Andromon stepped forward.
“Hostile presence detected!”
“Welcome!” they looked to see Gladitron walked out from the shadows, preparing his blaster.
“Oh yeah. Forgot about you.” Keno grumbled.
“I have a score with you punks! Especially you!” Gladitron pointed to Andromon, remembering when he hit him from behind.
“This time, I’ll finish the job!” Andromon declared.
Gladitron roared as he started to fire at the four.

“We’re close to the core!” Gamer declared as he, Love Shine, and Shine Girl hurried to their position.
But as they arrive, who should block the way but Baxter Stockman in his robotic suit.
“Did you forget me?” he smirked.
“I’m only gonna say this once, Stockman. MOVE!” Love Shine demanded as his photon blades extended.
“I’m afraid I’m gonna hafta decline.” Stockman stated before shouting. “Attack!”
Stockbots marched to the trio who pulled out their weapons.

The Turtles, Rainboms, and Digidestined made it to the portal where they faced the new giant Devimon.
“So do you think you have a chance of stopping us?” Devimon laughed.
“This is our home, Devimon! We are willing to fight for it!” Leo stated.
“You aren’t the first to try to take over our world. They all failed, and so will you!” Sunset added.
“Then you all perish!” Devimon laughed. Just then, an army of Stockman Bots marched from a door nearby.
Davis turned to the Turtles and Rainbooms. "Leave them to us. Stop Devimon!"
Leo nodded as the Digidestined stood with their weapons ready.
"Let's show'em not to mess with the Digidestined!" Yolei declared.
“Take’em down!” Leo ordered as they all charged at the giant Digimon while Mikey shouted,
“Booyakasha!”

Outside, The Dazzlings and Metalhead still battled the Gem Knights who were still in many numbers. Merton watched from the controls.
“Activate the Miner Bots!” he ordered a couple soldiers.
The four looked up to see four giant robots with drills for noses and fingers.
“This is not good.” Metalhead blinked.

Back in the ship, Lewej was using her diamond lightning to overwhelm the four. Casey was thrown back and was hanging on the ledge by his hockey stick.
“Casey!” April called.
Casey looked down to see nothing but lightning below. “a little help here!” he cried.
“Don’t worry. You can join him!” Lewej laughed, firing more lightning at them.

Meanwhile, Keno and his group weren’t doing so well. Keno and Night Shine were thrown like ragdolls and dropped their weapons. Fugitoid was also tossed aside as Andromon wrestled with Gladitron.
“No rust bucket will get the best of me!” Gladitron growled.

Shine Boy still fought Ripley one on one and the two were evenly matched. The Turtles, Rainbooms, and Digimon fought Devimon hard, but he was so strong. The Digidestined all battled the Stockbots.

The Dazzlings were overwhelmed at the sight of the giant Miner Bots.
“Girls,” Adagio gulped. “If this is our last moment together-”
“This is all my fault?” Sonata guessed.
“I’m such a jerk?” Aria asked.
“Actually, I was gonna say that I was happy and proud to be your sister and an honor to fight alongside you.”
“Oh!” Both girls said.
As they all grimaced, The Miner Bots prepared to attack when-
“NOVA BLAST!”
A giant fireball hit one of the Miner Bots. The Dazzlings looked to see a giant orange Trex with blue stripes and a three horned brown head piece charging at the Bots. As the passed the four, a figure jumped off the dinosaur. It was Tai.
“You guys alright?” he asked the Dazzlings.
“We are now. Thanks.” Adagio breathed.
“Hope your dino buddy can handle those things.” Aria pointed.
“Don’t worry. Those guys are pushovers compared to Greymon.” Tai assured as Greymon punched a Miner Bot. “Besides, we’ve brought back up.”
Tai pointed to the direction he and Greymon came from and revealed he was joined by not only Matt and Garurumon, Izzy and Kabuterimon, but a short haired girl riding a giant flaming bird, a girl with bushy brown hair on a giant cactus with boxing gloves, and a blue haired guy with glasses on the back of a white hairy walrus with a black horn.
“We’ll handle those giant robots!” Izzy cried. “Sora, let’s hit them high!”
“Roger, Izzy!” the short haired girl called. “let’s go, Birdramon!”
The bird flew up with Kabuterimon and fired fire blasted the Miner Bots.
“METEOR WING!”
“ELECTRO SHOCKER!”
“Alright, Mimi! It’s your turn!” Sora cried to the other girl.
“Let’s go, Togemon!” she told the cactus.
Togemon responded by charging at one of the Miner Bots and rapidly punched it. “LIGHT SPEED JABBING!”
“You’re on, Joe!” Mimi winked to the blue haired guy.
“Nail’em, Ikkakumon!”
“HARPOON TORPEDO!”
Ikkakumon fired torpedoes from his horn, which hit the Miner Bots. Meanwhile, Garurumon was swatting Gem Knights all around.
“Attaboy, Garurumon!” Matt cheered.
“They just keep coming!” Aria pointed to the Gem Knights marching at them.
“Then it’s a good thing we ran into these guys on the way here.” Tai pointed again.
As if answering his response, Gem Knights were seen sent flying. The girls look to see familiar mutants that were the cause of that.
“It’s the Mutanimals!” Sonata cheered.
Sure enough, it was the Mighty Mutanimals- Slash, Leatherhead, Pidgeon Pete, Dr. Rockwell, Mondo Gecko, Mona Lisa, and Bandit Raccoon. They all continued to plow through the rows of Gem Knights and made their way to the three and robot.
“Hey, girls.” Greeted Slash.
“We just got back when we came across these kids and they explained everything to us.” Rockwell explained.
“Better late than ever.” Bandit grinned.
“Where are The Turtles and Rainbooms?” Leatherhead asked.
“They went into that thing to stop the bad guys.” Adagio pointed.
“Then let us hope they are successful, as we will be as well!” Mona declared.
Slash turned to Tai, “You guys take on those big bots while we help here?”
“You got it!” Tai thumbed up.
“Let’s rock, Digi-dudes!” Mondo cried.
Tai grinned before Izzy shouted to him, “You’re not calling us that!”
“You’re no fun.” He said bluntly.
“Cowabunga!” Mondo cried.
The group continued to battle as Slash looked up to the ship.
Raph, Fluttershy, be careful. All of you, he thought.

Back in the ship, Baxter was smacking Gamer, Love Shine, and Shine Girl around. He then grabbed Gamer by the neck and chuckled.
“How do you like me now?” he laughed. “In the end, all will know the genius of Baxter-”
BOOM!
Suddenly, Baxter fell on his knees in unbearable pain. As it turned out, Gamer hit him where the sun doesn’t shine.
Gamer panted. “You….talk too much.”
“Okay. That’s just cheating!” groaned Baxter.
“You people cheat all the time! And yet complain about it? Irrelevant!” Gamer snapped.
“This. doesn’t. change. ANYTHING!” Baxter tried to blast Gamer, only for Shine Girl to throw her baton, knocking it off.
“Yes. It does.” She panted.
Before Baxter could answer, Love Shine slammed his head on the ground, knocking him out.
“That should keep him in check.” He grinned.
“Now lets get in position!” Shine Girl proclaimed.
“I hope bro’s on his way.” Gamer said as they hurried around the portal.

At the control panel, April and Shinigami were being overwhelmed by Lewej, who had knocked Karai off.
“I got you!” Casey, who was still hanging, grabbed her before she could fall.
“Just don’t let go, Jones!” Karai snapped as they both held on.
Lewej held Shini by the neck and held her over the ledge.
“Shini!” Karai gasped.
“Now this is how we deal with witches like you!” Lewej snared.
“Not. Just. YET!” Shini kept kicking when her heel pierced the diamond orb which got Lewej’s attention.
“You cracked it!” she gasped before Shini kicked her, causing her to release her. Meanwhile, April regained consciousness enough to use her ESP to pull Casey and Karai up. She then used it to grab Lewej’s diamond orb.
“Karai! Wanna do the honors?” she asked as she tossed the orb to the former bad ninja.
“Gladly!” Karai shifted to her serpent form and used her coils to smash the orb, distraughting Lewej.
“No!” She cried. Then, April and Shini jumped and punched Lewej in the face together, knocking her out. Then, Casey smashed the control console with his hockey stick.
“Goongala.” He smirked.
“Let’s go meet up with the others.” April suggested as they all headed out, leaving Lewej lying there.

At the power core, Night Shine was able to get back up As Gladitron picked up and threw Andromon. He was more angry than hurt as he got back on his feet.
“Alright!” he roared as he removed his jacket. “Warmup’s over!”
Pulling out his hatchets, Night Shine battled Gladitron one on one as Andromon helped Fugitoid up. As Night Shine grappled Gladitron, his hands burned with dark flames. Andromon saw this as an opportunity.
“Professor, it would be logical to destroy the power core while Luke battles for us.”
“Affirmitive.” Fugitoid agreed. “Let’s open fire!”
“Gatling Attack!”
Both began to fire at the power core, Which Gladitron took noticed. But as he turned around, Night Shine blasted him with his dark flame, sending him flying into the power core, destroying it.
“Sorry. Not sorry.” He grinned.
“Hey. It works.” Keno smiled.
“Booyakasha.” Andromon nodded.
“Let’s go help our friends.” Fugitoid nodded as they all hurried out.

Back at the portal, The Turtles, Rainbooms, and Digimon were struggling against the empowered Devimon. Even with their magic, they hardly put a dent in him.
“MutantDevimon is too strong!” Mikey cried.
“MutantDevimon?” Raph rolled his eyes.
“I kinda figured since he got that big because of Mutagen-”
As he fired disks at MutantDevimon, The Rainbooms and Turtles fired as well. After the smoke cleared, MutantDevimon smirked as he hardly looked scratched.
“Nice trick.” He chuckled. “Wanna see mine?”
He fired a beam at Shakkoumon, knocking him down.
“Shakkoumon!” gasped T.K. and Cody.
As Shakkoumon fell, he reverted back to Patamon and Armadillomon and they fell in T.K. and Cody’s arms.
“And now it’s personal!” Paildramon declared as he began to glow.
“Paildramon Mega Digivolve to…… Imperialdramon!”
He transformed into a giant black armored dragon with red wings. Then, they all continued their assault on MutantDevimon.

Meanwhile, Shine Boy just disarmed Ripley of his blade. Then, Ripley fired energy orbs at Shine Boy that exploded.
“Fall! FALL!” he bellowed as rapidly fired on Shine Boy, who fell over.
Ripley then marched toward Shine Boy. “I didn’t kill you before because I wanted to watch you suffer! But now I can let you witness your failure and defeat!” he then raised his glowing hand at Shine Boy’s head. “Any last words?”
Breathing heavily. Shine Boy held his hands together then swung his arms at Ripley, shouting, “Booyakasha!”
He hit Ripley at his face, resulting in his helmet falling off him. As he leaned on the rail, he glared at Shine Boy, revealing his scarred left eye. Suddenly, the rail broke, causing Ripley to fall off the catwalk. Shine Boy hurried and tried to reach for him, but the railing broke and Ripley fell to the electricity down below. After a moment alone, Shine Boy hurried to the others.

“STATIC FORCE!”
“POSITRON LASER!”
Silphymon and Imperialdramon fired at MutantDevimon. But MutantDevimon countered with a stronger blast.
“It’s no use!” Raph panted. “He’s too strong!”
“At least we’ll go down fighting!” Leo confirmed.
As the smoke built up, Sylphimon fell and reverted to Hawkmon and Gatomon. But Imperialdramon burst out, revealing to have changed into a humanoid version. He was now Imperialdramon Fighter mode. He wrestled with MutantDevimon as The Turtles and Rainbooms fired their magic at the mutant Devimon.
“ENOUGH!” MutantDevimon smacked away the Turtles and Rainbooms to the same platform as the Digidestined. Then blasted Imperialdramon to the wall.

“Hurry!” Gamer called as Shine Boy hurried to his team. They all looked up to see they were right under the portal mechanism.
“I hope the others got their end accomplished.” Love Shine hoped.
“After I beat Ripley, it looked like everyone did. Only everyone else is struggling with Devimon!” Shine Boy recalled.
“Maybe if we fire now, we can even the odds.” Shine Girl cried.
“If we aim at the ports up there, we can reverse the flow and, by timing it right, we can suck Devimon and trap him in dimensional limbo.” Gamer theorized.
The four formed a circle under the Mechanism. Then their symbols began to glow brightly.
“Everyone ready?” Shine Boy started to countdown. “4…3…2…1!”
“SHINE POWER!”
They all fired beams of light from their symbols. As the beams hit the ports, they formed a circle under MutantDevimon and opened up the middle.
“What is this?” MutantDevimon cried as he saw a light underneath him appear. He began to hold on as he was getting sucked in. Everyone looked down to see Team Shine opening the portal.
Shine Boy cried to them. “Hurry! Get him into the portal!”
But before they could do anything, MutantDevimon fired blasts from his eyes, sending them flying.
“I will have my REVENGE! Even if I have to blast you one at a time!” he then blasted at Kari and Gatomon.
“KARI/GATOMON!” Everyone gasped.
“Oh no! Not this time!” T.K. slid to Kari, hoping to save her in time.
Everyone could only watch in horror as it appeared the blast hit the two Digidestined. Then suddenly-
“MAGICAL GAME!”
A blinding light blocked the attack. T.K. and Kari looked as the light faded, revealing a small figure wearing a cape and witch’s hat. Gatomon was able to recognize the figure.
“Wizardmon!” she gasped.
Sure enough, it was Wizardmon, Gatomon’s old friend. Or at least his spirit. He turned to Gatomon and her friends.
“Are you alright, my friends?”
“We are. Thank you, Wizardmon.” Kari smiled.
“There’s not much time! You all must unite to stop Devimon!” Wizardmon advised.
Hearing that, Sunset looked back at Imperialdramon, who was still smashed on the wall. “Unite…” she pondered then it hit her. “That’s it! Everyone! Give your magic to Imperialdramon!”
The Rainbooms and Turtles all aimed their medallions and geodes at Imperialdramon. As they transferred their magic, they all reverted to their normal selves and attire while Imperiadramon began to glow bright.
“No! What’s this?” MutantDevimon gasped.
As the light dimmed, Imperialdramon looked a little different. His shoulder pads were blue, with the Left one showing Rainbow's cutie mark, Right had Fluttershy's. His forearms are purple, and his arm cannon is magenta with Pinkie's cutie mark. his legs are orange and indigo. On the kneecaps are Applejack's (left) and Rarity's (Right) cutie marks. He has a long red bandana and His wing house Sunset's (right) and Twilight's (left) cutie marks. on his chest is the Hamato symbol.
“Now that’s a little pick me up!” he said, looking at himself.
“Holy-” Donnie gasped.
“Chalupa!” Mikey finished.
“It’s like he’s gotta new ninja mode!” Davis cheered.
“This…..This can’t be!” MutantDevimon feared.
“What’s going on up there?” Shine Boy sweated.
“We just got our trump card!” Sunset answered.
Four orbs appeared before Imperialdramon, a blue one, a red one, a purple one, and an orange one. As Imperialdramon grabbed the purple orb, it transformed into what appeared to be a bo staff. The blue orb went on one end and became a curved blade. The red and orange orbs went to the other end and became an attached sai. He then grabbed the sai and pulled it out, revealing it attached to a chain in the staff.
“HAMATO SLASH!” He then threw the sai that stabbed MutantDevimon on the shoulder as the chain bound him and he slashed him with the blade on the other end of the staff. Then Imperialdramon rose in the air and aimed his cannon which grew in size and began to glow with the cutie marks.
“FRIENDSHIP CRUSHER!” the cannon fired a giant rainbow blast at MutantDevimon.
“Nooooooo!” MutantDevimon screamed as the blast not only was destroying him but forced him in the portal.
“Close it!” Gamer shouted. Team Shine then stopped their Shine Power closing the portal.
After a moment of silence, everyone cheered their victory before the place started to shake. The other groups hurried to the others as Team Shine climbed up with their grappling hooks.
“Guys! This place is falling apart! We gotta get outta here!” April cried.
“Baxter’s gone!” Gamer reported.
“Never mind! You heard April. We gotta go!” Shine Boy stated.
“If this thing crashes in the city, it’ll causes a lot of damage!” Leo feared.
“I’ll stop it!” Imperialdramon volunteered.
“But how do we get out?” Davis thought out loud.
“Maybe Twilight can lift us out?” Yolei guessed.
“Even with April’s help, We’re too high up.” Twilight explained.
“And our Digimon are too weak to Digivolve.” T.K added.
“Is this really the end?” Casey feared.
Suddenly, something broke in from the roof. It was Kabuterimon and Birdramon.
“You guys need a lift?” Kabuterimon joked.
As the two carried the teams to safety, Imperialdramon guided the ship to a safe spot in the Hudson River. As he arrived to the group on the rooftop, he reverted to Veemon and Wormmon and the magic returned to the geodes and medallions of the Turtles and Rainbooms. As the Turtles introduced Team Shine and Davis’ team to the Mighty Mutanimals, Izzy introduced them to Sora, Joe, and Mimi and their partners Biyomon, Gomamon, and Palmon. After introductions, they all turned to see Kari and Gatomon embracing Wizardmon.
“I never thought I’d see you again.” Gatomon sobbed.
“I’ve missed you too, Gatomon.” Wizardmon nodded.
“How did you come to help.” Kari asked.
“I’ve had a little help from a friend. He also told me about your new friends.”
Then, Wizardmon stepped aside and made way for Master Splinter.
“Sensei!” The turtles cheered as they embraced their deceased father.
“Father!” Karai joined them.
Master Splinter smiled as he hugged back. “My family. It is always good to see you. All of you.” He then turned to Team Shine and the Digidestined. “And thank you, fellow warriors, for helping my family and friends fight the good fight.”
“The honor is ours, Honorable Sensei.” Bowed Shine Boy.
“Happy to help, Master Splinter.” Grinned Davis.
Master Splinter nodded. “May you all continue to fight the good fight. In my eyes, you all would make great ninjas. As I have told my students, always remember your bond and friendship is your greatest weapon.” He then turned to Wizardmon. “Are you ready?”
“I am.” Wizardmon nodded.
Gatomon knew that meant it was time for them to go. “Please don’t leave me again.”
Wizardmon smiled. “I never left you, Gatomon. As long as you keep my memory strong, I’ll always be by your side.”
“Just as I always watch over my family.” Splinter added.
Hearing those words gave Gatomon enough comfort to let her friend go and they all watched as both he and Splinter floated up and vanished.
“Thank you, my friend.” Gatomon whispered.
“Thank you, Father.” Leo whispered.
Gennai arrived through a portal. “It looks like things are back to normal in the Digital World.”
“And Ripley?” Karai asked Shine Boy.
“Not even he could have survived that explosion. But I’ve counted him out before.”
“Same with Lewej and Gladitron.” Love Shine added.
“As Gamer mentioned, Baxter was gone too.” April mentioned.
"Let them come. We'll get'em big time next time." Raph stated.
“Well, I guess it’s time we headed home.” Davis shrugged.
“Same.” Shine Boy said.
“Aw! Do you guys have to go home now?” Mikey pouted.
“Our parents might be worried. And we are kinda homesick.” Cody stated.
Later, back down in the lair, The Turtles, their allies, Mutanimals, Rainbooms, Team Shine, and The Digidestined were having a big pizza party in celebration of their victory. As they enjoyed their pizzas, the groups were getting to know each other. Tai was telling Leo, Karai, Davis, Shine Boy, and Slash about the time Agumon digivolved into SkullGreymon.
“And he started to steam up and reverted back into Koromon.” He finished.
“Wow! How did you handle it?” Leo asked.
“Well, for a while, I was afraid to have Agumon fight. After a little training, I was able to get back up and learned to activate my crest right.”
“I know that feeling.” Slash added.
“Me too.” Davis pointed. “When The Digimon Emperor possessed Agumon, we had to fight him and I didn’t want to hurt him. But I learned to do the right thing for a friend, no matter what.”
“Experience like that helps us grow in wisdom.” Shine Boy quoted.
“Just as I made the right choice in passing the torch to Davis.” Tai grinned.
“you’re all right with us, Davis.” Karai smiled as Davis chuckled.
Meanwhile, Matt was talking with Raph, Casey, Aria, and Love Shine.
“So you actually started out as a rival to Shine Boy?” Matt asked.
“Yep. I just wanted to use my suit for good while Shine Boy had his mission, but we let our egos get the best of us. It wasn’t until we worked together, we became buds.” Love Shine described.
“I can totally relate to letting egos get the best of me.” Aria admitted.
“Still, you guys are okay in my book.” Matt smiled.
“Took the words right out of my mouth.” Raph agreed.
"I hear ya." Casey smiled.
Yolei was introducing Mimi to Donnie, April, Gamer, and Rarity.
“So, you live in New York in your dimension?” April asked.
“Yeah. My parents moved after we beat Apoclymon. But I visit every now and then.” Mimi smiled. “Too bad I couldn’t help around here. I would’ve loved to get to know you guys.”
“Well, with the T Phone I gave Yolei, we can keep in touch through dimensions with the modifications Andromon put in them.” Donnie pointed.
“Perfecto!” Yolei cheered.
"Definitely. In case something like this ever happens again." Gamer nodded.
“Wonderful!” Rarity smiled. “Yolei’s been telling me you have a thing for fashion. Maybe we can share ideas.”
“I’d like that, Rarity.” Mimi nodded.
Rarity smiled before she saw Rainbow waving to her. “Excuse me.” She told the others as she hurried over.
Sora and Joe were talking to Leatherhead and Rockwell. The two mutants shared their stories to the two Digidestined.
“I’m so sorry how the Krang tortured you Leatherhead.” Biyomon said.
“They were the worst days of my life, Biyomon. But when Michelangelo showed me kindness, I’ve had great friends who give me better days.” The crocodile smiled.
“And now, you’ve made new friends.” Sora smiled as she petted Leatherhead’s head and giggled. “I can see why Mikey called you Leatherhead.”
“Thank you, Sora.” Leatherhead chuckled back.
Rockwell was talking to Joe. “So you’re training to be a doctor, Joe?”
“Yep. A medical doctor.” Joe nodded.
“Just a little advice. Doctor to doctor. Choose your partners wisely or you’ll end up like me.”
“Not to worry, Doc.” Gomamon chimed in. “He’s already got the best partner around. Moi.”
“And I thought Mondo Gecko was acentric.” Rockwell rolled his eyes.
“Well, he does have my back.” Joe laughed.
Over to the pizzas, T.K. was getting another slice as Kari walked over to him.
“Hey T.K. I never got to thank you for coming to my aid against Devimon.” She told him.
“Well, I almost lost Patamon because of Devimon. I wasn’t gonna lose another friend to him. Besides, Wizardmon was the hero there.” T.K. admitted.
“True. But you’ve always been there for me many times. From the Dark Ocean to when Gladitron hurt me. I’m glad I have good friends watching out for me.”
T.K smiled. “You’re a good friend, Kari. Don’t let anyone tell you different.”
Kari smiled back as the two began to lean towards each other when-
“Aw!”
The two turned to see Mikey, Mondo, and Sonata watching them.
“Don’t mind us.” Grinned Sonata.
“You guys make one bodacious couple.” Mondo thumbed up.
“Yeah they do.” Agreed Mikey.
Realizing how close they were, T.K. and Kari broke off each other.
“Davis might be watching.” T.K. blushed.
“Yeah.” Kari agreed.
Andromon was with Fugitoid and Metalhead. “I’m going to miss hanging out with you two.”
“Indeed. We made a pretty good team.” Fugitoid agreed.
“You’re a good friend.” Metalhead added.
Then, the lights dimmed, and everybody saw a stage built as The Rainbooms walk up with their instruments.
“This song number is dedicated to our new friends, The Digidestined and The Digimon!” Rainbow announced. Then, the Rainbooms began playing.
Sunset Shimmer: Full Speed it’s turning now! You feel the start of a brand new story!
Twilight Sparkle: New darkness spreads and falls Does that make you scared?

Applejack: Thinks it can conquer us all But we come prepared

Rainbooms: Stand up and fight! You’re a hero again! And now there’s nothing we can’t face. You gotta strike while the target’s ahead! You gotta put those demons in their place! So burn it up! Feel the fire in your chest! This world is ours we’re coming back! We won’t give give out on this one final test. We won’t show mercy when we cry ATTACK!
The Turtles, Allies, Team Shine, and Digidestined all danced to the song. Shine Boy had a bit of a dance off against Davis, but both had more fun than competed, even when they out shown by Gennai. Metalhead and Andromon did a double robot dance together. Gatomon danced with Ice Cream Kitty while Veemon danced with Chompy. Mikey danced with Shini, Donnie danced with April, Karai got Gamer to dance with her, Yolei got Ken to dance, and T.K. and Kari danced while Davis was distracted. While standing at the corner, Night Shine just bobbed his head to the beat. All in all, everyone had fun.
