Its 0000 hrs Equestria Standard Time, Spanish revival style home, Center City Neighborhood, City of West Applewood, Coltifornia, city of Los Ungulas, master bedroom.

"Merriweather helps me, Merriweather help me, Merriweather." A familiar stallion's voice said to the owner of the home.

Slowly a clean-cut purple-colored earth pony stallion with yellow mane and tail stirs to life in his bed. His toned 5ft 8in equine figure is attired green, blue plaid pant pajama. His eleven inch long purple feet were bare. He rolls out of bed and pulls on his robe; he pip-pops barefooted over the hardwood floors into the living room of his home. As he exits his bedroom door in the center of the living room was a closed casket, three other ponies stood around it. The closest pony to him was an alluring medium blue colored pegasi mare with a bright green colored mane and tail. Her 6ft 3in physical fit equine figure was attired in black below the knee length fit, and flares dress. On her ten-inch long medium blue bare feet with bright yellow toenail polish were black open-toed high heel pumps. Folded on her back were medium blue feather bird wings.

On the closed casket's right side was a pleasing dark brown earth pony stallion with an ebony black mane and tail. He's very fit 5ft 7in equine figure was attired in a black suit and on his eleven inch long socked dark brown bare feet were black dress shoes. Standing at the casket foot was second nice-looking dark brown earth pony stallion with charcoal black mane and tail. His muscular 5ft 6in equine figure was attired in a black suit, and on his ten, and two thirds long socked dark brown bare feet were black dress shoes.

The familiar stallion's voice know to Russell was coming from inside the casket. As Russell Merriweather opens the coffin, his green eye transfixed with horror inside the casket was him very much dead. A moment later, the earth pony Russell Merriweather wake up in his own bed in a cold sweat.

It's 0900 hrs Equestria Standard Time, the following morning, Solar wind estate, Small colonial Georgian style mansion home, Golden Horseshoe Neighborhood, City of Grazing Hills, Coltifornia, city of Los Ungulas, Solar wind garden patio.

It was a quiet morning sitting at a table in solar wind garden patio was a dark blue unicorn stallion with crimson red mane and tail. His athletic 6ft 5in equine figure was attired heather gray short-sleeve flex polo shirt and timber wolf brown tapered athletic fit jeans. On his eleven and one-sixth inch, long dark blue socked bare feet were brown slip-on shoes. This unicorn stallion was Lord Justice Silverlight, the fiancé of Princess Celestia Borealis, the co-ruler of Equestria and commanding officer of Royal Division of the Solar Guard.

He soon joins at the table by gorgeous pearly purple unicorn mare with a fern green mane and tail. Her toned 5ft 9in equine figure was attired heather gray short-sleeve knit polo shirt and black Amanda jeans. On her eleven and one-third inch, long flawless and unblemished shaped pearly purple bare feet with baby blue colored toenail polish were black glitter peep-toe pumps with two and one-half heel. This unicorn mare was Lieutenant Colonel Emerald Luster, the Executive officer of Royal Division of the Solar Guard and friend to Colonel Justice Silverlight.

A few moments later, a second gorgeous looking white pegasi mare with a Spanish blue mane and tail join the two unicorns at the table. Her physically fit 5ft 7in equine figure was attired bold blue round neck short-sleeve blouse and meridian blue relaxed fit jeans.

On ten-inch long flawless and unblemished white shaped bare feet with cranberry red, toenail polish was gray gildie open-toed slip-on shoes with a one-inch heel. Folded on her back were her white-feathered bird wings. This Pegasi mare was Captain Anita Stormchaser, the Operations Officer of Royal Division of the Solar Guard and friend to Colonel Justice Silverlight.

Meanwhile, click-clacking across the porcelain tile flooring of the hallway from the kitchen was an elegant-looking light blue pegasi mare with a peach colored mane and tail; she was carrying covered trays with two other maids to the solar wind garden patio to serve breakfast to the two unicorns and one Pegasus.

Her 5ft 10in sleekly muscular equine figure was attired in lavender (very pale blue) colored slightly below the knee-length fit and flare dress. On her silky light blue legs were gray thigh-high stockings with lace trim. On her, ten inches, long flawless, and unblemished light blue bare feet with creamy white colored toenail polish were stone-colored Dryden wedge heel pumps with a one-inch platform and two and three-fourths heel.

Folded on her back were her regular sized light blue feather bird wings. This pegasi mare was Personal Royal Maid Diane Sheer, the senior maid for Lord Justice Silverlight; she in charge of a small group of ten handpicked royal maids from the Grand royal palace that serves Lord Justice Silverlight as his traveling retinue of royal maids. As the three maids set the trays down in front of the three ponies sitting at the table, they simultaneously lift the covers, revealing the diners' food.

"Diana, my two mares here are going shopping for a little while on Rodeo drive this morning, and I have ten o'clock tee time at Bel-Air country club. So go about your regular household chores for today. I'll be returning to the mansion home at about 11:30. So begin making lunch at 11:00 for me alone. My two mares are planning to have lunch at 208 Rodeo while shopping." Justice explains as Diane gestures the other two maids to take the covers back to the kitchen.

"Yes, My lord. I'll have one of the maids bring around a car for Lady Luster and Lady Stormchaser to head to Rodeo drive. I'll get your clubs from your room and bring around a car for you, my lord as well." Diane replied as Justice whispers something into his senior maid ear that made her blush, and she nods her head.

"Yes, my lord, I'll be ready went you come back from the country club," Diane said softly, her voice strained as she heads up to his room to get his clubs and inform one of the other maids to bring a car for Lady Luster and Lady Stormchaser to drive to Rodeo drive for their shopping trip.

A moment later, the bell on the front door rings, and Diane click-clacking across the engineered hardwood floor of the foyer to answer the door. As she opens the door, stand outside on landing was good looking white earth pony mare with pink mane and tail. Her shapely 5ft 8in equine figure was attired peach white mid-knee length short-sleeve floral print fit and flare dress. Her ten-inch long white bare feet with bubblegum pink toenail polish were navy blue slip-on shoes with a one-inch heel. This earth pony mare was Nurse Elethea Red heart, an emergency room nurse from the Ponyville hospital; she was hired by a rich stallion for temporary living in nursing position in Coltifornia at his home.

"Greeting mare; how may I help you?" Diane asked politely as the earth pony mare smile too much at her.

"Is this home of Lord Silverlight?" Hopefully, the earth pony mare asked as she makes a great business of searching for her pen in her purse.

"Yes, Miss?" Diane replies in a calm and reassuring voice that relaxes the nervous earth pony mare.

"Is he home? My name is Nurse Elethea Red heart; I must speak to him? In an urgent manner." Elethea asked hopefully as Diane lets the earth pony mare in.

The moment Diane exits the rear door into the garden patio, Justice's eyes blink with surprise went the two mares walk up to the table.

"Well, greeting Nurse Elethea Red heart, I didn't expect you to be in Coltifornia or City of Grazing Hills. What brought you here?" Justice asked as Elethea quickly noticed the other two mares sitting at the table with Justice and smile at them.

"Nice to see you too, Justice, away from the Ponyville hospital," Elethea said, hugging Justice as Diane went to grab a chair for Miss Red heart.

"Well, greeting Lady Luster and Lady Stormchaser, I should have guessed you two would be with Lord Silverlight here. He insists that I contact one of you two went he visits the emergency room after (clearing her throat) an intense case. And not his fiancée Princess Celestia Borealis." Nurse Red heart said her voice edged with tension as Diane brings over a chair for her to sits on.

"Greeting Nurse Red heart." The two mares said simultaneously as they both sigh, slowly acknowledging what she mentioned, and she sits down on the chair.

"With that said, what bring you to see me, Elethea?" Justice asked as the maids pick up the dirty dishes from the table and take them back to the kitchen to be washed.

"I am here to ask for your help, Lord Silverlight," Elethea said as Justice gestures for her to continue.

"About two months ago, why I was working my shift at the Ponyville hospital. I received a phone call from Mr. Russell Merriweather, an old Ponyville resident whom I have never spoken to before. He offered to pay me 300 bits a year if I work for him as a temporary living in nurse till he finds a more permanent living in nurse in the City of West Applewood here in Coltifornia. Since it was quiet in Ponyville, I jump at the offer; it would also allow me to expand my knowledge." Elethea explains as Diane returns carrying a small coffee tray and serves the four ponies at the table.

"I put in for some time off from the Ponyville hospital and flew out to Coltifornia. I was picked up at the airport by Mr. Merriweather chauffeur; he drove me to a Spanish revival style home in Center City Neighborhood. That went, I finally met Mr. Russell Merriweather; I found him a very friendly earth pony stallion-like most of the residents of Ponyville. He shows me around his compound and set me up in a fully furnished guest house on the property. It had everything that a living in nurse could need to take care of a resident patient." Elethea explains as she takes a drink of coffee from her cup.

"After meeting him, I went about my duties as his living in nurse. For the next several months, I learned that Mr. Merriweather was a pony of habit. At 6 o'clock every day, he would leave for an hour walk around the neighborhood. No matter the weather and come to my guesthouse at 4 o'clock for a quick check-up and pay me my fee for the service. I told him he didn't have to pay for my service, but he did." Elethea explains as the maids return to pick-up the dirty coffee cups from the table.

"So far, Miss Red heart, I have heard nothing that would need our help for? Unless I have missed something in your account of the events." Emerald comments as Justice tell his personal maid Diane to cancel his tee time at the club and bring a car around for the three of them.

"Please forgive me, my Lord and Ladies; here the reason I have come to see you," Elethea comments asking the maid for a glass of water.

"About a month ago, why I was in my guest house, making myself something to eat, Mr. Merriweather ran into my home in such a state of agitation. He was holding a torn up piece of newspaper. He was babbling about a burglary that happens in the neighborhood; I calm him down and walk him back to the main house." Elethea explains as the maid gives her a small glass of water, and she thanks her.

"Miss Red heart, did you see the paper Mr. Merriweather was holding or know the date?" Anita asked as she stretched her wings out to loosen them a bit.

"I am sorry, Lady Stormchaser, I didn't; it was torn up. I think it was the September eighth issue of the Los Ungulas times." Elethea answers as Anita gestures it fine.

"Please continue, Miss Red heart," Anita said as she folded her wings back onto her back and looked at Emerald and Justice, who both nodded their head. Tell her to see if she can find a copy of the September eighth issue of the Los Ungulas times.

"Then a week ago, why I was buying my groceries from a local market, I return home. Mr. Merriweather was in panic tell me that someone has broken into his home why he was away. I ask him if anything was taken. He said no, but that was not the point someone was in his home without his permission." Elethea explains as she takes another drink from her glass.

"The following week, he didn't leave his home at all and turn his home into a fortress. I ask him about it, and he'd snap at me. And I drop the subject. As the weeks went on, it started to calm down, and Mr. Merriweather resumed his schedule." Elethea explains as she takes another drink from her glass.

"Just the other day, Mr. Merriweather once again got broken into went he was gone, and once again, nothing was taken. After that, I asked if we should call the police about the matter. He said no, there was only one person that could help him, but there doesn't know how to contact him." Elethea said as Justice raises his hand to stop her in mid-sentence.

"Did Mr. Merriweather ask for the Royal investigator, specifically Elethea?" Justice asked as his two mares ready themselves for the answer.

"He did!" Elethea said as his two mares shook their heads.

"Very good, Miss. Red heart let depart. Emerald, you will come with me. Anita does what you do the best." Justice said as all four ponies stood up from the table.

"Yes, Justice," Emerald said

"Yes, Justice, I'll see what I can find out and find a copy of the paper," Anita said, flew off to do the research.

Its 1130 hrs Equestria Standard Time, Spanish revival style home, Center city Neighborhood, City of West Applewood, Coltifornia, city of Los Ungulas, master bedroom.

It took a few hours to get to the City of West Applewood from the City of Grazing Hills due to the high traffic volume on the road that morning. An eventually, Justice and Emerald arrive at two stories white brick Spanish revival home with a low white stucco wall in front of the residence with wrought-iron fencing. On the other side of the stucco wall was a large courtyard with lush, leafy native plants and an asymmetrical tree canopy that soften asymmetrical structure with faux red clay roof tiles. As Nurse Elethea Red's heart drives through the larger wrought-iron gate up to the attached garage.

Justice parks on the street in front of the residence as the two unicorns stand on the curb waiting for Elethea to open the tall, slender wrought-iron gate to let them into the courtyard. The two unicorns observed that the neighborhood is comprises of large historic apartment buildings going toward the city, smaller apartment buildings, some single-family homes, and duplexes in various designs. This area is a mishmash of species from across Equestria, a much larger version of Ponyville in the Friendship Kingdom, but not as stiff as Canterlot. This area feels like a neighborhood with residence walking about heading to the city or coming back.

"So what do you say, Emerald?" Justice said inquiry to his's unicorn mare partner as she slips her pearly purple flawless and unblemished barefoot out of her peep-toed pump and splays her toes out of a nervous habit.

"This neighborhood Justice is not the type of neighborhood that would be broken into twice and very unlikely the same home why the residence was away. Anyone walking by this home at any time would see someone breaking into the home and notify the police department about it." Emerald explains as she slipping her foot back into her peep-toed pump and slips her other foot out of the other pump out of the same nervous habit.

"You are right, Emerald; I agree with you that the same home wouldn't be broken into twice without someone notice it and calling the police department about it. It seems that most people around here know each other." Justice said as he gestures his hand in front of him like Emerald out of a nervous habit.

"So what do you think is going on, Justice? With this, Mr. Russell Merriweather?" Emerald asked.

"We know something got Mr. Merriweather spooked to the point that he turned his home into a fortress and didn't leave his home for a week. We also know a week later, he resumed his normal schedule. Then his home was broken into a second time, which then he mentioned my name as the only one being able to look into it for him." Justice explains as Elethea opens the gate for them to enter the courtyard.

The heels of Lady Emerald Luster peep-toed pumps click-clacking across the decorative outdoor glazed ceramic tile of the courtyard up to an archway with no decoration in center of the archway was a thick wooden door with a small glass window with decorative wrought-iron work spindles on the window. As the two unicorns continue to follow Elethea up to the door, they both notice the tiny and very few glass windows on the home's exterior walls. All of them have the same decorative wrought-iron work spindles on them.

"Justice, did you notice the windows on the home?" Emerald comments as she looks towards the exterior wall of the home.

"I did Emerald; those windows are too small for any pony to break into the home, and that decorative wrought-iron work spindle is the mainstay of this type of home," Justice explains as Emerald taps her foot on the ground.

"So, how can anyone break into this home with this kind of look?" Emerald's comment looks hard at the home.

"That an excellent question, Emerald? Plus, it looks like this started a long time ago. Mr. Merriweather probably bought this type of home because of decorative wrought-iron work spindles and small windows." Justice explains as Emerald taps her foot on the ground more.

"If that true Justice, then the research by Anita is the most critical for this case. Plus, why did Elethea say he turn it into a Fortress?" Emerald asked as the two unicorns stop just in front of the archway to talk for a little while.

"My guess Emerald, is that Elethea has never seen this type of home before. This type of look is not found in Ponyville or Canterlot. It most likely found only here in Coltifornia." Justice comments as they continue up to the door.

Slowly the door is open by a handsome medium gray unicorn stallion with dark red mane and tail. His iron-muscled 6ft 1in equine figure is attired in a white dress shirt, and light gray texture men stretch slim fit suit pants. On his eleven and one-sixth inch socked medium gray bare feet were brown dress shoes. This unicorn was Butler Bernardo Looter, a mysterious unicorn stallion with a buccaneer air about him and household servant for Mr. Merriweather.

Standing in the center of the large white stucco walled living room was an elegant-looking light gray unicorn mare with dark purple and mauve strip mane and tail. Her athletic 6ft even equine figure was attired in brown short-sleeve top of the knee-length fit and flare dress. Why on fit light gray bare legs were taupe-colored thigh-high stockings. On her eleven inches, long light gray bare feet with sky blue toenail polish were white round-toed stiletto heels. This second unicorn mare was Housekeeper Margarita Looter, like Bernardo, a mysterious unicorn mare with a buccaneer air about her and household servant for Mr. Merriweather.

As they continue into the living room from the landing on the top of the staircase appears a clean-cut purple-colored earth pony stallion with yellow mane and tail holding a loaded service-six Ruger revolver in his hand. His toned 5ft 8in equine figure is an attired light gray classic fit suit. On his eleven inches, long purple socked bare feet were black oxford dress shoes. This earth pony stallion was Mr. Russell Merriweather, a successful investment banker from Los Ungulas Bank and Nurse Red heart resident patient.

"Come no further! I will shoot!" Russell said, his voice explodes out of him, pointing the gun toward the two unicorns and Nurse Red Heart in the living room as the household servants quickly disappear.

"Mr. Merriweather! Put down that gun right now! I told you that I knew how to contact the Royal Investigator!" Elethea yells bluntly as Justice and Emerald notice the boot prints on the stair tread leading up to the home's second floor.

"Is that the Royal Investigator?" Russell asked as his face glazes with a shock that Nurse Red heart contacted the Royal Investigator.

"Yes, Mr. Merriweather! This is Lord Justice Silverlight (gesturing toward the dark blue unicorn stallion) and his partner Lady Emerald Luster (gesturing toward the pearly purple unicorn mare), The Royal Investigator for the Princesses of Equestria." Elethea comments as Mr. Merriweather lower the gun.

"My lord and my lady, please come up," Russell said, a little bit friendlier as Justice, Emerald, and Elethea continue up the stairs to Mr. Merriweather's room.

Mr. Russell Merriweather's bedroom is large white stucco walled squared room with the same small windows and decorative wrought-iron work spindles on the outside window. A queen-size bed dominates the room. On one side of the room are two dressers, a long dresser with a mirror, and a tall dresser with four drawers. their is a single nightstand on the right side of the bed and three chairs in the room. A single large chest is at the foot of the bed with a cushion.

"I have never been a rich pony, my lord, and lady. But I don't trust the Royal Bank of Equestria or bankers in general." Russell commends using a key from his pocket of his jacket to open the large chest in front of the bed. Inside the chest was many bits and bonds from various businesses around Equestria nicely organized and stacked.

"So Mr. Merriweather, who are the ponies that are accosting you and why?" Justice said bluntly as Russell blink with surprise at the statement from Justice, and a knowing look appears on Emerald's face agreeing with Justice as she came to the same conclusion as him.

"That is preposterous, my lord! I have no idea who the ponies are that have been accosting me, or much less why?" Russell said with pretend anger.

"Yet! You want us to investigate something!? I would say it would be in your best interest Mr. Merriweather to tell us what you know?" Emerald said sharply as stress lines form on his snout.

"Emerald, lets go! He will not say anything!" Justice said as he bid goodbye to Nurse Red heart and left.

"Justice, who do's you think those ponies are?" Emerald asked, walking down the staircase next to Justice.

"You probably came to the same conclusion I did, Emerald." Justice comment knowing.

"That Mr. Merriweather does know who the ponies are and why they are accosting him. This all started in his past." Emerald explains as the two unicorns climb back into the car and head back to the estate.

"Correct, Emerald, let see what Anita dug up from her research. Besides, we will get a call tomorrow from Elethea about this case." Justice comments as he pulls into traffic to drive back to the estate.

Its 0900 hrs Equestrian Standard Time, the following morning, Spanish revival style home, Center city Neighborhood, City of West Apple wood, Coltifornia, city of Los Ungula’s, master bedroom and apparent suicide of Mr. Russell Merriweather.

At 8 o'clock that morning, Justice received a phone call from Nurse Elethea Red Heart to quickly come to Mr. Russell Merriweather's home in the City of West Apple wood. After rapidly gathering his two mare's partners, the group drove to the Center City neighborhood and came upon Los Ungula’s Police Department crime scene. The group is met by an attractive light blue unicorn mare with a pink and yellow mane and tail. Her 6ft even very fit equine figure was attired in light green short-sleeve satin blouse and black jeans. On her, eleven-inch light blue bare feet with bright yellow toenail polish were black ballet flats. This Unicorn mare is Police Detective Elvia Wishes, A Los Ungulas Police Department Police Detective.

"Greeting my lord and ladies, what interest does the Princess have in this case to send her Royal Investigator to look into this case?" Elvia asked as the three ponies returned the greeting.

"Nothing at all, Detective Wishes. We were brought in by the request of Nurse Elethea Red Heart by her employer Mr. Russell Merriweather." Justice answer as the three ponies follows Detective Wishes into the home.

"May I ask my lord, why did Mr. Merriweather ask for your help? This doesn't seem to be a case for the Princess's Royal Investigator to be involved with?" Elvia commented as they walk up the staircase to Mr. Merriweather's bedroom.

"It doesn't matter if it is a noble or plain civilian, Detective. If they request my assistance or want my advice, I will give it. It is the will of the Princesses of Equestria, and I must follow that will." Justice said noble as his two mares softly chuckle under their breath, knowing the real reason for looking into this case was interest.

"As for asking for my help, Mr. Merriweather was worried about a burglary. But that case is a moot point in the light that something happened here." Justice comments as Detective Wishes opens the door into the room.

In the room hanging from the ceiling was Mr. Russell Merriweather, a rope was tied to one of the outside decorative wrought-iron work spindle in the window, and a black hood was over his head. As Justice's looking around the room, he discovers three chairs positioned around the room. One chair by the door, a second chair by the four-drawer dresser, and the last chair by the small nightstand.

"It looks like he hung himself, my lord," Elvia commented as Justice shook his head no.

"On the contrary, Detective, he was executed." Justice comments as Detective Wishes face glazes with shock.

"Executed! How so, my lord?" Elvia exclaimed as she recoils in horror with comment from the Royal investigator.

"Observe Detective," Justice said, walking over to the first chair by the door and pick up a medium blue feather from off the ground.

"A pegasi sat here, most likely a mare as this wing feather has been preen quite a bit. As my own pegasi mare does regularly (Looking toward Anita who has a sour look on her snout that she preen quite a bit)." Justice's comment walks over to the second chair by the dresser.

"An earth pony stallion sat here," Justice comments as he walks over to the last chair next to the nightstand.

"And here too." Justice comment

"How do you know that the last two were earth pony stallions, my lord?" Elvia asked as Justice helps to lift the rope off the hook on the ceiling as another officer unties the rope from the window.

"Pretty easy Detective, like most unicorns, we can pick-up unicorn magic even those none has been used. We unicorn release excess magic regularly; if not, it would quite mess if we didn't." Justice comment as they lay the body down on the stretcher to be removed.

"So went the three of us enter the room; we didn't pick-up magic residue, so there was no unicorn in this room. As for being a stallion, the boot prints we found the first time we came were stallion size, too big for Mr. Merriweather. As you can tell, my two partners are mares, like you, Detective. If you didn't notice, I have been conscientious moving around this small room as not to destroy any evidence." Justice explains as Elvia shook her head once.

"Understood, my lord, but you said it was executed. For what?" Elvia asked as Justice gestures his hand toward his Pegasi mare.

"Revenge Detective, did you recall the Royal Bank of Equestrian heist in Canterlot about twenty years ago, "Anita says as Elvia gasp with shock.

"Almost one thousand bits were taking during that heist, and if I remember correctly, a Royal guard was killed during that heist," Elvia explains as Anita shook her head.

"You are correct Detective; it was a group of five ponies that broken into the vault two earth ponies' brother the Bicker brothers, a pegasi mare named Storm Runner, third earth pony name Sutton or in his case Merriweather and the leader a unicorn stallion named Cartwright. During the heist, the Royal guard was killed by Cartwright went he try to stop them." Anita explains as Anita paused for a moment before starting again.

"After the heist, Sutton turn informant and turn in the other members of the gang. The bicker brother and pegasi mare Storm Runner both got twenty years each in jail. Cartwright was hung for killed the Royal guard. What caused Merriweather distress was the early release of the Bicker Brother and the pegasi mare Storm Runner from prison." Anita explains as Emerald had a puzzled look on her snout that was quickly pick-up by Detective Wishes.

"My lady, is there something wrong? I have noticed you have that puzzled look on your face?" Elvia inquiry as Emerald looked around the room.

"What happened to the other two unicorns that were here?" Emerald inquiry as Elvia's eyes widens with alarm.

"What other two unicorns, my lady?" Elvia comments

"A light gray unicorn mare and a medium gray unicorn stallion, the Housekeeper and the Butler," Emerald exclaims as Elethea gulps went she realizes that the housekeeper and butler are no were to be found.

"You are right, Lady Luster, The Looter," Elethea exclaims, looking around for the looters.

Its 1100 hrs Equestrian Standard Time, a few weeks later, Solar wind estate, Small colonial Georgian style mansion home, Golden Horseshoe Neighborhood, City of Grazing Hills, Coltifornia, city of Los Ungulas, Solar wind study.

It has been a few weeks since Mr. Merriweather's death at the hands of his compatriots in the Royal Bank of Equestrian heist in Canterlot; with the best efforts of Royal investigator Justice Silverlight, the three ponies who killed Mr. Merriweather have gone underground and vanished.

As for the Butler and Housekeeper, who called themselves the Looter, a report said that two unicorns matching their description were seen as pick-up by a pirate galleon on Basalt beach south of pine needle barrens on the other side of Froud Valley. It was sailing south-west toward Barbary Island (formally known as Storm King's Realm). The strangest thing was that the witness that reported it said that the unicorn mare had a pair of feathered bird wings folded on her back and seem to be calling the shots.

Sitting at his desk in the Solar Wind study was Royal investigator Justice Silverlight; he was finishing up his report for Princess Celestia Borealis of this case in Coltifornia. As he signs his name to the account and makes a magic copy of the report. In a blink of an eye, the report vanishes and reappears in the hands of his fiancée Princess Celestia Borealis in Canterlot; she floats the report into a file cabinet to look it over later. As her own desk in her private office at the Grand Royal Palace is just littered with royal documents.

A moment later, the door into the study is opened by an elegant looking light blue pegasi mare with a peach-colored mane and tail. Her 5ft 10in sleekly muscular equine figure was attired in lavender (very pale blue) colored slightly below the knee-length fit and flare dress. This day the pegasi mare silky light blue legs were bare as the gray thigh-high stockings with lace trim were left off as requested by Lord Justice Silverlight.

On her, ten inches, long flawless, and unblemished light blue bare feet with creamy white colored toenail polish were stone-colored Dryden wedge heel pumps with a one-inch platform and two and three-fourths inch heels. Folded on her back were her regular sized light blue feather bird wings. This pegasi mare was Personal Royal Maid Diane Sheer, the senior maid for Lord Justice Silverlight and his executive assistant.

"Greeting Diane, my tee time is at one o'clock today, so please bring around a car for me. Have my two mares left for their shopping trip to Rodeo drive in grazing hills yet?" Justice asked as Diane stands by the side of Justice's desk.

"Yes, my lord. As for Lady Emerald and Lady Anita, both have left together for their shopping trip. I have never seen two mares more excited to go on a shopping trip to Rodeo drive." Diane comments as Justice's chuckles.

"Well, those two mares deserve some time off. They were planning a shopping trip before that case stops it cold. As for you, Diane." Justice comments as Diane chuckled into the back of her hand and smiles at Justice.

"I am without my gray thigh-high stockings with lace trim today as requested, my lord. And yes, I have rubbed cream on my feet as requested; they are soft and smooth to the touch. Shall we get started, my lord? I have ordered the other maids to only disturb me for an emergency." Diane explains as she reaches down and unbuckles her pumps, and steps out of them.
