Today is Lightning Star’s seventeenth birthday! Karly Crystal, The Rainbooms, and the rest of their friends, plan to make this day the best birthday in a long time. But Lightning isn't excited. This is because each year, on her birthday, something terrible happens. Ever since she turned four years old and lost her mother and sister, it’s been that way. She calls it a curse and there is no cure. But, as she thinks it’ll just be another accursed day, her arch-nemesis, Dr. Devil arrives, and all takes an adventurous turn, and decidedly spooky, as he desires to throw his own little surprise party for her; no tricks, no traps, no hunger for power, nothing. But, after she is kidnapped by him and forced to attend his party, Karly, The Rainbooms and The Pixels go off to find and save her as well as unveil the true mystery of his intention, and stop it, before he proves her point, and Lightning's birthday curse carries on.
~Lightning Star was fast asleep in her bed, snoozing away. She was wishfully dreaming about laying on a soft, grassy hill as the sunshine shined down on her. Lightning watched in amazement as the warm light came so sudden and brilliant. She closed her eyes and slowly breathed in and out the fresh, florid air around her. All she wanted to do was relax.~
"Ah…! This is the life, huh? Nothing could possibly ruin this perfect dream."
"Happy Birthday, Lightning!" called a loud, high-pitched voice.
"Aaaahhh!"
~Lightning jerked awake, her eyes wide with fright. Pinkie Pie, holding a miniature party cannon, gazed down at her with a lovable smile. She pulls the string attached to her small cannon and it blasts confetti all over Lightning and her bed sheets. Lightning silently blinks a few seconds, before she chuckles and wipes the confetti off her shoulders and head.~
"Thank you, Pinkie, but it's like 4 in the morning…"
~Lightning points to the wall and she and Pinkie both look at the clock hanging off of it. It read 3:57am.~
"I know. I wanted to get up early and plan your party straight away! It's the first time me and the others are celebrating your birthday, so it's gotta be good!" Pinkie smiled and threw herself into Lightning's face.
"Well, wake me at 8, no, 9am so you can get 5 hours of sleep and get ready for the party…" Lightning replied, placing her finger on Pinkie's nose..
"Okie-Dokie!"
~Pinkie bounds out of Lightning's room and waves her goodbye. Lightning smiled and was about to fall back into dreamland when she sees Karly Crystal leaning by the door, arms folded and smiling droopily.~
"Pinkie woke me up. Happy birthday by the way."
"Thanks. Well, I don't think I can actually go back to sleep now that I'm awake. I might as well double-check to see if they're coming or not…" Lightning reaches to the side of her bed and pulls out her laptop.
"Ok. What's the plan, anyway?" Karly softly asked.
"We'll see wherever the wind takes us. And whatever everyone wants to do." Lightning yawned.
"But, Lightning, it's your day. You should do whatever you want to do."
"Sometimes I don't know what I want to do. But, all I can think of is having a party."
"Of course. Hm. Well, I guess, yeah, just go wherever the wind takes you. Anywho, I should get some sleep. See you in 5 hours…" Karly waved to Lightning and made her way to the door.
"Yeah, see you."
~With that, Karly leaves Lightning's bedroom and closes the door. Lightning stares at the door then looks down at her laptop for the rest of the night. 5 hours later, Lightning was still sitting on her bed and tapping on her laptop, the clock suddenly chimes 9'o'clock. She hears a knock and the Rainbooms walk into the room, starting with Sunset, followed by Rainbow Dash, then the rest.~
"Morning, Lightning." Sunset greeted.
"Happy Birthday!" Rainbow exclaimed.
~The Mane 7 cheer and give Lightning seven presents, each from one of them. She puts the presents down on the floor beside her bed.~
"Whoa, Thanks, guys!" Lightning smiled.
"The Chief left you a present too." Sunset tosses a pair of socks at Lightning and they land on the duvet.
Lightning frowned a little. "Oh, socks, thanks. I'll um...put it with the rest."
~Lightning opens one of her desks draws and everyone looks in it to see more pairs of socks, all labelled from Steven. Lightning throws in the new pair and closes it quite quickly.~
"As for the other presents, I'll open them later…"
"Why not now, darling?" Rarity asked, rather shockingly. "You seem like the kind of person that would love opening presents at the beginning of her day!"
"I want to wait for everyone to get here." Lightning simply replied.
"Everyone is here." Twilight noted.
"Not everyone. Not this time." She winked.
"Ok, well, when will they be here?" Rainbow asked.
"I don't know. I'll say less than an hour. Let's just get everything ready until they do arrive."
"Ok! I'll get Stitch and Spike!"
~Rainbow Dash strides out of the room and runs diagonally straight to Stitch and Spike's room.~
"Stitch? Spike?"
~She barges through the door to see Stitch laughing and Spike whimpering at something on the television. The lights were turned off so the only light in the room was the TV's. Rainbow peeked over the dogs' heads to see a horror movie playing on screen. Suddenly, a jump scare appears and Spike yelps and disappears under his blanket.~
"Run, scared people! Monster's gonna get you!" Stitch continued to laugh.
"Oh my goodness, I can't watch!" Spike whimpered.
"Uh...Hey...guys!"
~Rainbow Dash turns on the lights and Stitch abruptly turns the TV off. Spike pokes his head out of the covers too and looks up to make eye contact with Rainbow.~
"Oh, hello, Rainbow!" Stitch barked.
"What's up?" Spike asked in relief.
"Lightning wants us to set a few things up for her birthday, can you give me a hand...or paw?" Rainbow shrugged.
"Wait...Lightning's birthday is Today?! No way! Me forgot to get her a present!" Stitch's mouth dropped in dismay.
"I didn't know today is Lightning's birthday?" Spike said.
Rainbow was confused. "How could you not know? She told us all last month!"
"Sorry, but...me gotta quickly get Lightning a present. Yeah! Me gotta get her a nice present! See ya!"
~Stitch embarrassingly scurries away under Rainbow's legs and out the door.~
"I better go with him too. Sorry, Rainbow." Spike said.
"It's ok. I could probably get everything set up by myself in 10 seconds flat anyway!"
"Good luck!"
~Spike quickly follows Stitch out the door. Rainbow shrugs it off and starts to walk and hum a song the band sang. As she continues walking upstairs into the music room, she sees a stranger lounging on Pinkie's drums while playing on her phone. She had long, sleek blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, fair skin and blue eyes, like Lightning and Karly. She wore a blue sea necklace and a frilly-like shirt, same colour plus a bit of yellow. A purple skirt, long purple socks and simple school-like boots.~
"Hey, stranger, going through our instruments, wait, stranger going through the instruments! Security breach!"
~Rainbow Dash panics and presses a nearby button that locked and barred all the doors and windows. Blasters appeared from the walls and aimed at the stranger, as she dropped her phone without saying a word, very startled. Everyone hears the alarm and commotion upstairs.~
"What's going on up there?" Sunset asked.
Back upstairs, Rainbow glares at the blond girl. "Don't move. What are you doing here?!"
Before the girl could speak, Lightning flew in front of Rainbow. "Rainbow! Slow your role."
~Lightning roughly and quickly got changed and raced upstairs. She stares at Rainbow and the stranger in confusion. She then realises who the stranger was and presses the button to remove the blasters. She points at the stranger and does an introduction.~
"This is not an unidentified intruder, this is Fierra. And you can identify her as one of my old friends."
~Lightning proves this by showing Rainbow Dash an old picture of her, Karly, Fierra and three unknown teenagers.~
"'Old' isn't really the word I would use." Fierra said, crossing her arms bluntly.
Lightning shrugs. "You prefer childhood, don't you?" She leans into Rainbow's ear. "She's serious about everything." She whispered.
"Sorry, sugarcube, but we heard everythin' downstairs, how exactly did she get in without settin' off any alarms?" Applejack inquired, coming up the stairs along with the others.
"I scanned my old friend's handprints in the security system so they can get in." Lightning explained. "Well, they can't now since someone yelled 'Security breach!' and put the room into lockdown…!" Lightning slowly turns and glares at Rainbow.
"Sorry. I didn't know." Rainbow shrugged as her cheeks turned red. "Wait, 'scanned their handprints in the security system?' Does that mean…?"
Lightning nodded. "Yes! They know everything. Us being spies, my tragic backstory, our enemies, All."
"Yeah! And I would love to post about my awesome friends saving the world online, but nooo! It had to be a secret!" Fierra complained.
"And another reason why you haven't is because if you do, we are going to have to erase your memories about everything you know. You will even forget your own name." Lightning smiled, getting all up in Fierra's face.
"Don't make me think about that."
Karly sighed. "Why did we ever tell her about us being spies?"
"We didn't, Karly, Mirus did! He was the one that found out about it first!" Lightning sighed as well. "It's a long story, Rainbooms, maybe we'll tell it to you one day...But right now, I gotta find a way to deactivate these doors."
Twilight steps forwards. "Yes, we need to quickly try to turn off the system before any more of your old friends arrive."
~Twilight was about head back downstairs but she stops when the doorknob shakes and mysterious voices are heard on the other side of the door.~
"Oh no, the door's locked." One of the voices said softly.
"Alright, we'll just have to bust our way through! Jace, can we use your head as a battering ram?" The second voice said happily.
"No way! This noggin' is supposed to keep me smart until college…" The third voice said sternly.
"Oh well, you have the thickest skull. Charge!"
"Wait!"
~The door of the music room was suddenly busted open. Shouting and crashing through the door were 3 teenagers, 2 of them were holding 1 of them who looked dazed and ill.~
~The dazed teenager was male, around the age of 17. He had dark brown, curly-like hair. His eyes were brown and were spinning all over the place. His clothes were a plain white shirt under a hooded red tartan jacket with fur on the collar, brown jeans and a belt.~
~One of the other teenagers was also a boy. 15 years old. His green eyes were as bright as an emerald. He wore a solid green v-neck t-shirt with two yellow bolts ironed onto it, he wore black jeans alongside them. His hair was a mixture of gold and yellow, and was quite messy. He looked down at the girls because he was tall. Very tall for a teenager. Taller than the Rainbooms, even if they were wearing heels.~
~The last teen was a girl. Also around 17. She had similar hair to Lightning, but a bit longer and darker. Her skin was brown and she had brown eyes too. She wore a pink, fuzzy jumper, red square reading glasses, and simple navy blue jeans. All these teenagers looked around in awe until the dazed one spoke crookedly.~
"Ow…" He groaned and tried to turn to the tall teenager. "Mirus…"
"Relax, The pain will go away in a sec." He reassured him.
Karly and the Rainbooms looked shocked and Lightning raised up her finger. "...Actually, I don't think that'll now be necessary. Guys, meet mine and Karly's old friends. Together we're called the Pixels."
"As in...?"
"Yes, as in Pixel High School."
The tall teen looked at Lightning and dropped the dazed teen to greet her. "Hey, Lightning, Happy Birthday! Squeeze!"
~This Mirus boy softly tackles Lightning into a hug, giving her the element of surprise and no chance to explain anything. He then lifts her up a little and squeezes tighter, almost fracturing her back and arms.~
"Aah...ok...Mirus!" Lightning choked as Mirus held her in his chest tightly.
"Oh, sorry. Heh heh."
~He backs away from Lightning and throws his arms behind his back innocently. Lightning fixes herself and clears her throat before pointing at each of her friends to the Mane 7.~
"This is Mirus. The tall, energetic guy of the group. He's basically the Pinkie Pie of the team, but sometimes, he's a little stupid."
"Hey…" He suddenly realised Lightning called him stupid so he turned to her, a little annoyed. "Hey!"
Next, Lightning darted her eyes to the dazed teen on the ground. "This is Jace. Karly's boyfriend and the trustworthy, loyal one. The Rainbow Dash of the team, perhaps. Or Applejack."
"Hello." He slowly waved at The Rainbooms from the floor. "Any friends of Lightning and Karly are friends of mine…"
Karly happily rolls her eyes and helps him stand up. "Yeah...He's mine…"
Jace rubs the back of his head. "Heh heh. Hey, Karly! Great to see you!" He and Karly embrace each other and the Rainbooms smile.
Lightning, finally, turned everyone's attention to the last teen left. "And finally, this is Arianna, She's the one I met first. She's shy…but, you can get along with her just fine. She has a heart of art, music, drama and-."
"Thank you, Lightning. But that's enough about me...I don't wanna make anybody feel bad..." Arianna blushed.
"She also knows a lot of history…" Karly added.
"She knows exactly what happened during the Cold War, not a single detail left out." Lightning also pointed out.
"Ok, girls, thank you…" Arianna blushed harder.
"Well, it's nice to meet your old buddies, Lightning and Karly, But, is that everyone?" Sunset asked.
"Who's coming to the party: Yes. All of our old friends: No." Karly responded, somewhat sadly.
"We have another boy in the group named Rolt. But he's busy, so he can't make it. But it's ok, the 13 of us should do." Lightning smiled
"So, what are we gonna do first?" Jace inquired.
"I don't know…I never planned anything except a party." Lightning shrugged.
Pinkie jumped on Lightning's back. "Then, let's get it started!"
~Pinkie blasts a few times out of her cannon and makes the room sparkle with colourful gifts, balloons, and other party decorations, officially starting the party. Lightning chuckles and claps happily, seeming like she is having a good time, but then she ceases and gives a worried face.~
~Meanwhile just above Canterlot High in his blimp, Dr. Devil was lurking in the shadows. Ollie, Frank, Lairry and Wendy were there too, looking at Devil's calendar. Devil was circling the day's date on his calendar in red marker. He had it marked as Lightning's birthday, so he knew it was her birthday today.~
"Today's Lightning's birthday, And I'm not going to be able to attend it. Since we're stuck in this stupid, colourful world!" Devil kicked the floor and began striding around the room.
Ollie gets up from his seat and calmly walks up to his dad. "Yes, I also wish we can ruin her birthday for revenge too, dad, but, first we need to find a way to get back to our world."
"What, No son, I'm not going to ruin her birthday. I'm going to do the opposite. I know repairing the castle is going to take a long time but my revenge-itis hasn't quite kicked in yet."
"So, what exactly are you planning to do?" Wendy asked.
"Well, Wendy, first, we need to get back to our world. Then, I'm going to find Lightning and wish her a happy birthday and host a party for her, and make sure she never leaves until tomorrow, that's when my revenge-itis kick in…" Devil hastily replied.
"You mean tomorrow, 21st August, you will get your revenge?" Frank asked.
"Of course, because it will be no one's special day! Lightning might have gotten lucky today but the plan is that we capture everyone and keep them with us until tomorrow, then I'll kill them for revenge. Boom! It all comes in full circle!"
~Devil suddenly looks outside and down of his window and sees bright and strobing lights coming from inside CHS. He spies down on the school, looking through his telescope and in the music room window, he sees the party lights and confetti spelling out the words 'Happy 17th Birthday, Lightning'.~
"Wait a minute…'Happy 17th birthday, Lightning'…they're here?! Still in this world?! And they are already having the party without us! Ok, that tears it!"
Lairry droopily walks up to Devil. "Now is your revenge-itis kicking in?"
~In response, Devil kicks Lairry away from him in anger and Lairry yells out in pain.~
"No, my Lairry-itis was kicking in though. Lightning didn't invite us to the party! So I think I gonna-"
"Ruin the party?" Ollie interrupted. "Take her magic and destroy her once and for all for her birthday?"
"No! Come on, no one's that evil! I'm still going to throw my own party for her…Ollie, get the party decorations and hats, Frank, bake the cake!"
"Should I make it poisonous, dad?" Frank asked, gleaming a little.
"Wha-Nooo! Just to make this clear, for the last time, it's Lightning's birthday so we need her alive to celebrate! So, no weapons or anything that involves destroying her!"
~Without warning, Devil seized his son by the ankles and hung him upside down. He then proceeded to shake him and a bunch of weapons came out of his pockets. Blasters, knives and mini-bombs. All. The doctor sets Frank down as he frowned.~
"Fine."
~Frank then leaves the room and goes off somewhere else, most likely to the blimp's kitchen. Devil finally, turns to Lairry and gives him a task to do too, even if he finds him totally useless and pathetic.~
"Lairry! I need you to take some of the minions, go to the colourful, party shop in the city, and get some balloons."
"Balloons?"
"Lots of them. Oh, and if you see Lightning, take her out and bring her here."
"Alright then."
~Lairry smiled at his father, believing that he can accomplish this simple task. He turned to the door behind him and gave out a long, whistle. After a minute had gone by, five minions appear at the threshold of the door in a line, standing firm.~
"You called?" The first minion asked, holding his chest up high.
"Lairry is going to need your help to get balloons...and Agent Star. Bring her here ALIVE for her birthday party, hosted by yours truly…" Devil placed his hand on his chest.
"That's it?!"
"Got a problem with that?" Devil glared.
"No, not at all!" The minion shook his head.
"Then, get out of here!" Devil ordered.
"Sure thing, boss!" The minions salute their master.
Lairry smiles uneasily. "Don't worry, dad, we'll get Agent Star and those balloons as soon as we can!"
~Lairry and the minions leave to go where the planes are parked, leaving Wendy left without a mission.~
"Yeah, they're going to be a while…" Devil nodded slowly. "All minions! Get ready for the party, everyone put on a hat!" He begins laughing evilly. "This will be the best party for Lightning ever!"
"What can I do, father?" Wendy slides in front of her father.
"I don't know. You can be the party planner." He shrugs shamelessly.
"Can I do something not boring?"
"Hmm...no. I'll think of something for you to do when it comes to me."
"...Fine. Hm…" Wendy growled and sat down on the sofa again.
~For the duration of the party, Lightning was sitting down on the piano with a glass of punch in her hand. She was looking at the ground, not sad, just lost in thought. Karly comes and sits beside her and smiles, but stops when Lightning sighs.~
"Hm…Come on, mind! Think of somewhere to go. Anywhere!" Lightning began tapping her head with her finger.
"Don't worry, Lightning. Hopefully, you will think of something to do afterwards." Karly assured. "We could go to the Pizza Shack in our world or we could go trampolining at the gym."
"I did that for my fourth birthday party." Lightning sighed.
"That was thirteen years ago. You're now seventeen. I bet you don't remember a lot about that though. So we could go there again to remind you how fun it is."
"Maybe, I'll think about it after the party."
Karly and Lightning both share a smile before their friend, Mirus, runs past them, his stomach grumbling. "Woo! I'm starving…is there any party food?"
"Of course there is!" Pinkie smiled. "Come downstairs for cake and more!"
"There aren't many sugar snacks are there?" Fierra asked.
Applejack shook her head. "I wouldn't think so. Why?"
"Mirus...tends to get crazy when he has too much sugar. Last time he was on a sugar rush, I caught him smooching an electrical socket…"
"Ooook, I'll keep an eye on him." Applejack promised.
~Mirus and Pinkie both zoom downstairs at the exact same speed to the buffet made by the Chief. Everyone except Lightning follows them, Karly stops and turns to Lightning.~
"Uh, Lightning, are you coming?"
"I'm going to have a look around the town and city to see what I want to do. Tell everyone to stay in the hideout until I come back. Or until I call someone."
"Um...ok. I'll have my phone on me at all times…" Karly shook her phone in her hand.
"You always have your phone on you at all times, Oh whatever…"
~Lightning rolls her eyes as Karly walks down. Lightning grabs her small backpack and sets out. In Canterlot City, Lightning was walking around, passing through crowds, and looking at the buildings like she was on holiday. She had hardly been in the city, so this was troublesome for her to look for a place.~
"Think, Lightning, think! There are so many wonderful places you can go for your birthday. The swimming pool? No, Fierra can't swim and she's going to complain about missing the fun. Karly is too a weak swimmer. Hmm…the park? Boring! What else?"
~Lightning just ends up walking down an alleyway and stops there for a second and sighs hopelessly.~
"I wish I knew where everything was in this city…Hmm...I know! Why don't I just fly around the city and see if I can find any place to go at!"
~She activates her power, gets her raccoon ears and tail and flies up above the city.~
"Ok, this is better, let's see. I see the bowling alley, the beach...that would be nice, Huh?" Squinting down, Lightning notices a mini plane landing in a large alleyway. "And Lairry's plane and Devil's minions? What are they up to?"
~Lightning was very suspicious and confused to spot Lairry and some minions around the city. She flies down beside Lairry's mini-plane and hides behind it while she eavesdrops on Lairry and the minion's conservation.~
"You still think this will be easy?" One minion asked, folding his arms.
"Of course. But one small failure and we will be thrown into the shark tank!" Lairry worried.
"Yeah, ok, I do not want that! So, where do we start?"
"With the balloons…okay…" Lairry tugs a ski mask over his head. "I'm gonna run in and get the balloons and party streamers. Stay out here until I say I need help."
"Balloons? Party streamers?" Lightning whispered to herself.
"Oh, the boss just texted to get more shark food as well…! Great." Minion 3 said, looking at his phone.
"Ok, that's reasonable…" Lightning tilted her head.
"Huh? What was that?"
~The first minion starts to look around because he heard Lightning speak. She starts to back off and sidestep around the plane but then accidentally presses a button that sets off an alarm.~
"What the…?" Lairry crouched his eyes in suspicion.
"Oh, shoot!" Lightning shouted.
~Lightning began constantly whacking the button to make it stop.~
"Stop it! Stop! Good god, shut up!"
~The alarm suddenly stops and Lightning sighs in relief. But it was already too late. Lightning closed her eyes in relief and began to walk backwards, when she felt someone behind her. This widens her eyes again.~
"Well, Well, why go chasing Lightning when Lightning's chasing us…" Minion 1 snickered.
~Lightning looked at him in worry, then surprise punched him in the face. She glared and began to take off, but before she was out of range of the guys, someone seized her raccoon tail and attempted to pull her back down. She turned around to see Minion 2 tugging her tail.~
"Ow! Let go!" Lightning shouted in pain.
"Oh, no you don't!"
~The minion thrust the tail and Lightning down as hard as he could. He couldn't get her to hit the ground, but he successfully dragged her down enough for him to rapidly wrap his arms around her waist and throw her down to the floor. Lightning hit the ground on her back and she was about to quickly get up, but the minion put both of his feet on her arms, pinning them down and restraining her on the floor.~
"Hey! Let me go!"
~The first minion regains consciousness and joins his coworker in restraining Lightning. The rest of the minions overwhelm her too. One of them grabs some rope from the mini-plane, commands his mates to roll her on her stomach and tie her up. Lightning felt them wrap the rope around her and connect her hands to her waist. She then felt them tighten it and she realised that she was now quite securely pinioned.~
Lairry was completely shocked. "Wow. That was super easy. Finally, dad will be proud of me!" He suddenly sees the minions giving him a death stare. "And you! Let's get out of here then!"
~Lairry gets out his blaster and shoots his surroundings, blasting and destroying dustbins and building walls in the area. Everything was completely quiet.~
"Nope. Nothing. Let's go!" He confirmed and smiled.
~The minions smile at the struggling Lightning as they pick her up and chuck her in the plane. She landed pretty uncomfortably on the other side and hits her head on the railing of the plane with a thud.~
"Ow." She began to struggle and grunt. "You jerks! What do you want with me?!" She demanded.
"Not me. But my dad. He wants to throw a party for you, strangely." Lairry answered truthfully.
"Uh-huh, yeah. A likely story...Unless that's what the balloons and streamers were for." Lightning doubted.
"Oh! I forgot the balloons and streamers!"
~Lairry hops out of the plane and quickly runs into the shop.~
Lightning struggled to get free. "I wish I never said that. At least he also forgot the shark food."
~After a few minutes, Lairry returns with 5 bags of balloons and streamers in his hands. He throws them at the back where the minion caught them. However, one minion fakes missing to catch one of the bags and lets it hit Lightning's face, of course it didn't hurt, but it still shook her a little.~
"Ok, I got them! Let's get back to the party." Lairry said.
"Come on, it's not a party…" Lightning rolled her eyes.
"It is a party, for your information." Lairry retaliated.
~Both teens glare at each other then begin arguing like preschoolers.~
"Is not."
"Is too."
"Is not."
"Is too!"
"Is not!"
"Just shut it!" Lairry screamed, ending the quarrel.
~Lairry starts the engine and grabs the wheel as the plane lifts off the ground. Lightning started to get nervous and was desperate for help. She begins to think.~
"I need to call the others but I'm being watched, literally."
~Lightning gazes to her left to see all five minions looking at her creepily and angrily, without saying a word. She turned away from them and shuffled to the right until the third minion yelled.~
"She moved!"
"I'm going to have to wait until Devil leaves me alone for a while. If he does if not, I'm going to have to think of an escape route as soon as I can by myself...Frankly, this birthday just got interesting...and unexpecting. And hopefully, it won't be the worst or the last for that matter."
"You know, she's being awfully quiet, now." The third minion noted.
"She's just thinking how to escape, well, it's not going to happen with us keeping an eye on her!" The fourth minion grinned.
"Don't worry. Lots of us will be keeping an eye on her at the party, even dad." Lairry reminded him.
"Right."
Lightning growls and struggles again. "I think I'm already happy with just one party, ok?!" She said aloud. "I don't need another! Listen, I know I was looking for a place to hang out at for my birthday, but Devil's blimp wasn't really what I had in mind…!"
"Well, it would be better than the park, right?" Lairry teased.
~The minions laugh at Lairry's joke and Lightning's misery. Lightning grunts but then sighed sadly, knowing she can't get out of this.~
~In the hideout, Karly was sitting at the table with her phone neatly placed on it. Arms crossed politely, she waited for Lightning to call her, but she then got impatient. She looked at the Pixels and the Rainbooms talking and laughing at the buffet, then looked back at the phone.~
"What's taking Lightning so long?" Karly sighed. She called out to the others. "Has anyone got a text or call from Lightning yet?"
~Everyone stops talking and eating to look at Karly, then get their phones out of their pockets or hair (In Pinkie's case), takes a look at them, then they all shake their heads.~
"Hmm…I take it she would have found a place by now. The city's not that big! Is it?" She asked.
No, it's quite small for a city." Sunset answered, walking up to her. "Yeah, I'm starting to get a little worried."
"Why don't you try calling her first?" Twilight suggested.
"Well, ok."
~Karly picks up her phone from the table and begins tapping on it before holding it to her ear.~
~On the mini-plane, Lightning's backpack begins to vibrate. This alerts everybody to look at it. Lightning in shock and glee, the rest in shock and horror.~
"Huh?"
"Oh, shoot! The phone's ringing! Uh, Johnas! You take care of it!"
~The fourth minion gets out the phone from the backpack and gives it to the first minion.~
"No way! Portas has the best Lightning impression!"
~The first minion shoves the phone in the fifth minion's hands.~
"I said I have the worst Lightning impression."
~The fifth minion transferred the phone to the second minion.~
"Uh…"
~This minion does the smart thing and declines it, without worrying about anything.~
"Phew…"
"Ok, hopefully, they won't try that again anytime soon." Lairry sighed while Lightning glared.
~In the hideout, Karly places her phone downwards on the table.~
"Nothing, that's weird."
"Not as weird as this! Mirus! Take that out of your mouth, you idiot!" Fierra scolded.
"Why? It's ice cream!"
~Mirus' pupils grow huge and he starts licking a blaster and begins jumping up and down, his hair suddenly puffs up too and he looks like he is about to go in a nervous breakdown. He wasn't the only one. Pinkie's pupils also grow and she joins him in the bouncing.~
"Huh? Am I jumping or is the world going up and down?"
"WHOO-HOO! WE'RE JUMPING! THE WORLD CAN'T MOVE UP AND DOWN, SILLY!" Pinkie screamed.
"What do you know? It is me! Watch this, Left foot, Right foot! Left foot, Right foot! Sugar crash!"
~Mirus suddenly jumps up and turns to his back. He crashes to the floor and groans, making everyone around him super confused and embarrassed. Jace felt totally skeptical. Fierra facepalms and stares at Applejack, believing this is her fault since she didn't keep an eye on Mirus very well. Arianna blushes, and tries to shield her face from how shameful she is.~
"Sorry about this, girls. He's had too much sugar." Jace apologised.
"How much exactly?" Twilight asked.
"547 pieces. I should know. The wrappers are all over the floor."
~Jace looks down and holds his hands out on either side, presenting all of the colourful sweet wrappers all over the floor.~
"547?!-Pinkie! Why did you buy so much candy?!" Twilight inquired, turning to Pinkie still jumping.
"Well, I take it that Lightning must have invited more people so I doubled the candy! And it looks like I did good! HA HA!" Pinkie laughed as Twilight facepalmed.
"Anywho, where did Lightning go? She hasn't even opened any of her presents." Jace shrugged.
"She went out to find a place to go for her birthday, didn't she?" Rarity asked.
"She did. But, we haven't heard from her yet. And it's been more than an hour." Sunset answered.
"What if something happened to her?!" Karly worried.
Applejack held her hands up. "Ok, let's not jump to conclusions, y'all! Lightnin' could probably still be just lookin' around or somethin'..."
"Guess you're right. How about if she doesn't show up in the next hour, we'll go looking for her." Karly suggested.
"Okay." Sunset nodded.
"Alright." Twilight added.
"See? I'm sure Lightnin's fine. I hope." Applejack said unsurely.
~Back on the mini-plane, it was soaring into the landing quarters on the blimp.~
"Ok, we're here…" Lairry said.
~Lairry smoothly parks the mini-plane back to its spot and hops out. Lightning was no longer tied up but was held firmly at the arms of the first minion since he was the strongest out of all of them. He picks up Lightning, puts her down and continuously pushes her forward while still holding onto her.~
"Ok, I am more than capable of walking by myself!" Lightning glared.
"Hey! This way!"
~Lairry threatens Lightning by waving his blaster around and directs Lightning to the room where the party is supposed to be with it. Lightning deeply sighs and does as she's told, no matter how much she hated it, and that the minion was still pushing her. She steps in a dark room where her vision was completely blank.~
"Geez! Where's the lights?"
~Suddenly the lights are switched on and the room is revealed to be decorated in bright coloured confetti and streamers, with a badly made cake on a round table in the corner. Lightning knew that Pinkie would not approve of that cake. Suddenly a load of minions jump out and yell.~
"Surprise!"
"Uh…What Is this?" Lightning was dumbfounded.
She suddenly felt someone touch her shoulder. "Agent Star! Happy birthday!" Devil cheered.
~Devil greets Lightning by pushing her onto a chair. She groans from the sudden push, but then two minions grab her arms and pin them to each of the armrests and tie them to it.~
"Devil!" Lightning shouted.
"What?" He shrugged.
"What in the world are you doing?!"
"What? Can't a guy celebrate his nemesis' birthday for once?"
"By kidnapping me and forcing me to come here?"
"Well, it was better than Ollie's plan, I'll tell you that! Relax, it's your birthday, and I set up this party, so I'm not going to let it go to waste. Why don't you have some of my Devil's fruit cake?"
~Devil slides his arms to the right and a minion pushes the badly-made cake to him and Lightning.~
"How do I know this isn't a trick?" Lightning asked. "I mean, is the cake poisonous? Is it going to explode?"
"Fine, Little Miss Worried, if you're so predictable, Frank, get over here!"
Frank hears his dad's call and comes over. "Yes, dad?"
"I want you to eat a piece of cake for Lightning." Devil commanded.
"Why?"
"She thinks it might explode." He snickered.
"Ok…"
~Frank pretends to be concerned and cautious as he cuts a piece of cake to scare Lightning. He slaps it on a paper plate and stabs a fork in it. He scoops up the piece of the cake and eats it.~
"Uh-huh, yeah it exploded alright. With a nice strawberry filling." He says as he munches down on it.
"See?! Completely fine. So have some." Devil glared.
"I don't want to." Lightning simply answered.
"We made it for you, eat it!"
"I said, no!"
~Devil growls and scoops up a little bit of Frank's cake off his plate. He thrusts the handful into Lightning's mouth and gets it all over her face and shirt.~
"There. You're good? Good." Devil nodded.
Lightning muffles then spits out the cake. "Yuck! This icing tastes like dirt! And the cake itself. My mouth tells me the flour and eggs were fine, but the milk tastes like it expired 3 to 5 years ago, the butter is too buttery and the sugar tastes like salt!" Lightning gagged.
"Well, what did you expect from someone who has never baked a cake before?!" Devil shrugged.
"At least they would use milk that was still in date! And Sugar!" Lightning's eyes go wide.
Devil sighed, completely annoyed. "Just have some more, the minions won't eat it. They hate cake."
"Yea-no. I'm full. But, if you're hungry, I'm a pretty good cook, so why don't you let me out of this chair and I'll Give you a taste!"
"How 'bout no?"
~With that, Devil puts a party hat on Lightning. He then pulls it down to her face, pulls it back and lets go of it and it slaps on her face and covers her mouth and nose so it looks like she had a bird beak..~
"Just enjoy your stay, my party prisoner…"
~Devil laughs wickedly and begins to amble away. Lightning growls and struggles and successfully gets the party hat off her face, just not the ropes on the wrists. Then suddenly her phone rings again from her backpack one of the minions was holding. This time it was Twilight calling her and the minions got nervous again.~
"Huh?" Devil turns to where the ringing was coming from.
"Oh, not the phone again!" Minion 2 worried.
"I thought you put it on silent!" Minion 1 glared.
"Well, you were the one who had it last!" Minion 2 yelled.
Devil quickly rummages through the bags, grabs the phone and declines it. "Lairry! You had to bring Lightning's bag along didn't you?"
"Uh…"
"Speaking of phones too, Did you even get the shark food I texted you?!" He asked.
"Oh…" Lairry went pale.
"Ha!" Lightning smugged.
"Great, now the sharks are gonna have to starve! Unless... guess the shark food will have to be you!"
~Devil pulls a lever from the wall and a trapdoor opens up below Lairry. He looked down and yelps as he fell down. Next thing everyone could hear was a splash and him screaming.~
"Honestly, you cannot do anything right! Now, the other agents are going to find out Lightning's not responding to her phone and this party will be ruined!" Devil huffed and folded his arms.
Devil's daughter, Wendy, suddenly steps forwards. "Say, father, Why don't I disguise myself as Lightning and also get some information on-"
"What Agent Star wants for her birthday?" He interrupted cheerfully.
"Uh...sure. As well as making sure the others don't get suspicious on what's going on and that Lightning is ok. Besides, we sound very similar…" Wendy smirked, putting her hand on her chest.
"Good thinking, Wendy. I like it. Let's do that then."
"Okay. First, I'm gonna need this."
~Wendy approaches Lightning and glares at her as well as grins. Then she grasped onto Lightning's geode and ripped it straight off her neck. Lightning seemed shocked at first but then glares back and clenched her teeth and began struggling again.~
"Hey! Put that back!" She grunted.
"Perfect. Now let's get you some makeup to make you look like Lightning." Devil prompted.
"For your information, I don't wear makeup!" Lightning shouted.
~Devil and Wendy tramp off out of the party room, leaving Lightning and the minions to party.~
"So, what do we do?" Minion 1 asked.
"I think to continue partying and I guess, keep an eye on the party prisoner…" Minion 3 answered, gesturing at Lightning.
"Ooh, there's something that I always wanted to do to Agent Star."
~The second minion goes up to Lightning and fires a party popper in her face, leaving a tiny burn on her face.~
"Ohhhhhh!" The minions cheer and continue to dance.
Lightning groaned. "Great, not only am I trapped here, but I'm going to be tortured with measly party tricks...By the way, only Pinkie can do that!"
"Hey guys! Who wants to play stick the arrow on Lightning's face?" Minion 3 asked.
~Across the blimp corridor, in the dressing rooms, Devil and Wendy are talking to each other, disguising Wendy as Lightning.~
"Ok, Wendy, let's get you some Lightning look-a-like makeup." said Devil.
"Daddy, you don't know the first thing about makeup. Allow me…" Wendy insisted.
"Ok, Lightning's identical clothes are beside you."
"Alright." She replied.
~Wendy slammed the door and Devil waited patiently outside the changing room. He looked back and forth across the hallways a couple of times with his arms crossed. Finally, Wendy comes out looking just like Lightning.~
Devil freaked out. "Ahh! Agent Star! How did you-"
"Father, it's me." Wendy frowned a little.
"Oh, Wendy. Ok, well, if you fooled me so you can fool the others. Let's get you to E.Q.U.E.S.T.R.I.A Hideout."
~Devil races to the blimps controls and steers to CHS aka E.Q.U.E.S.T.R.I.A Hideout, to find out they are already here.~
"Here already!? Oh, right, we were already here. Go, get 'em, girl!"
~Wendy grins and grabs Lightning's backpack, along with all of her stuff so she couldn't use anything else in there, and climbs down a ladder and lands on the roof and swings on some trees to the ground and sneaks into CHS. Lightning spots Wendy sneaking in through the window and watches helplessly.~
"Oh, no!"
~In the hideout, Twilight was scrolling through her phone while Karly and the rest of the Rainbooms were watching and waiting on the edge of their seats.~
"Hmm…once again it declined."
"Ohh, poor Lightning, maybe something did happen to her, and on her birthday too." Fluttershy sighed.
Karly angrily slammed her drink on the table. "Ok, That's it! I'm going to go and look for her because this is getting ridiculous and I swear when I see her I'm going to-"
"Guys?" Wendy's voice called from above.
"Give her a birthday and a hug she'll never forget!"
~Karly ran up the stairs and bobbed her head up from the trap door to see 'Lightning' wandering the music room. She pressed the button and opened up the piano to make room for her to get out and vigorously hug her.~
"Oh, Lightning, you're ok!"
"What happened? You weren't answering your phone and everything." Twilight said, coming up the stairs along with the rest.
"We got worried." Sunset added.
"Uh-huh, sorry 'bout that, my phone started glitching weirdly when someone tried to call me…" Wendy fibbed.
"Oh. Maybe I can fix it…" Twilight shrugged.
~Twilight goes to take Lightning's phone off Wendy, but she withdraws the phone and glares, leaving Twilight a little scared and startled.~
"No!..." Wendy cleared her throat. "Thank you. I'm sure it might clear up…soon anyway we should process at the party…"
"Ok, What about another place to go to, have you decided on that?" Karly asked.
"And are you going to open your presents soon?" Jace added. "I want to see your reaction when you see mine."
Arianna raised a finger. "Also, We are going to need your help to fix Mirus and Pinkie…"
~Everyone stares down the stairs to see Mirus and Pinkie still on the floor, sleeping.~
"Think you can fix that too?"
Wendy sighs angrily and speaks quietly to herself. "How many more questions are they going to ask?!" She turns to the gang. "Uh...Haven't decided where to go, I'll open the presents later, and those guys need a doctor…" She pointed at Mirus and Pinkie. "But now, I think I'm going to...look up some other places we can go to that's not in the city or our world...
"Not in the city or our world? But, that could cost more money than we have." Karly exclaimed.
"Well, So be it!"
~Wendy storms downstairs and into Lightning's bedroom. Everyone heard the door slam hard then complete silence. The Pixels and the Mane 7 look in confusion. Karly puts her arm around Jace and raises her eyebrows.~
"Ok...that was weird."
"Yeah, what was that all about?" Jace asked.
"I don't know." Rarity answered. "Was there really nothing Lightning wanted to do around here?"
"That's nonsense!" Rainbow said in disbelief. "There are many things to do here!"
"Yeah. Lightnin' loved it when we showed her 'round the farm." Applejack shrugged.
"And she loved the boutiques, what is there not to love?" Rarity said strongly. "The dresses are simply gorgeous, and the scarfs are to die for! And-"
"Um, Rarity, I think only you loved the boutiques. Because I was there too and all Lightning did was stand outside. She's not a shopping girl." Karly chuckled and shook her head.
"Oh. Right."
"Hmm...She loved sitting for the animals in the shelter when I went to help out a puppy with a broken leg." Fluttershy explained.
"So, what's wrong with her?" Sunset asked.
Everyone looked down to think, but then Fierra stepped forwards. "Maybe she's just stressed." She simply answered.
"Stressed?!" They all go.
"What could she possibly be stressed about?" Rarity inquired.
"I've seen the faces she pulled during the buffet! It's her first birthday with you girls, she probably wants it to be good and fun for everyone."
"She doesn't have to do that though, we will enjoy whatever she decides to do-"
"I've known her longer than you have. Trust me." Fierra interrupted. "Just give her some time. We have all day, and tomorrow don't we?"
"We don't really have all day, Fierra." Karly said. "Lightning said nothing after 10pm and we can't do anything tomorrow because Lightning is doing something with her dad for her birthday since he couldn't be here today.-"
"I said, give it some time, Karly!"
"Ok...ok…" She whispered.
Jace sighs. "Again? This is not really much of a birthday now without the birthday girl."
~Jace places his hand between his eyes and massages it. Everyone walks back downstairs and waits by the tables for 'Lightning' to come out. But, shortly after they got there, Spike and Stitch come down from the stairs, with Stitch holding an animal in his mouth, it looked dead and slimy.~
"Are you sure Lightning will like a dead frog?" Spike asked in discomfort.
"Ih. It shows our owner and pet relationship together." Stitch mumbled with the frog still in between his teeth.
Fluttershy softly smiles and lifts up Spike and holds him in her arms. "Hey, Spike. Do you know what's going on with Lightning?" She asked him.
"No. What's wrong?"
"Fierra thinks she's suffering from BS." Jace answered.
~The girls and dogs give Jace a weird look.~
"Birthday Stress. BS means Birthday Stress, sorry, Should've been specific." Jace nervously smiled.
Stitch spat out the frog on the floor. "Odd. Me heard that Lightning gets Christmas Stress. But not Birthday Stress. Maybe Stitch can cheer her up." He smiled, curving upwards.
"Go for it. After all, you are smart, funny, cute and all as we know…, fluffy." Karly shook her hands.
"I like fluffy!"
~Stitch puffs up from the compliment by Karly and then proceeds to prowl into Lightning's room and speak to Wendy. They don't hear much, but the one thing they did hear was Stitch yell.~
"Happy Birthday!"
~Stitch returns back out the room and closes the door to face the Rainbooms and the Pixels. He climbs up onto Sunset's shoulders and relaxes.~
"Lightning good to me." He confirms.
"Well, if you say so. Fine. Maybe you were right, Fierra. She just stressed." Karly shrugs.
"Exactly. She's in there probably looking for a place on her laptop or whatever. Come on, guys."
~Fierra begins to walk upstairs and Karly, Jace and Arianna follow.~
"Where are ya goin'?" Applejack asked.
"We're going back to our world." Jace answered.
"There's not much else we can do here. We only came for Lightning's party but since she hasn't decided where to go, we were gonna go back and wait." Fierra explained. "It takes forever for Lightning to think for something, just a heads up."
Arianna nodded. "And uh, maybe also call us when Mirus wakes up."
~Arianna points at Mirus, still on the floor passed out, along with Pinkie.~
"Oh, honey, honey! You...are...my...candy...girl…" Mirus sang in his sleep.
"Call us when Lightning's ready."
~Jace, Karly, Arianna and Fierra all shuffle out of the music room to leave CHS and to the portal. This now leaves only the Mane 7, Stitch and Spike to ponder on a few things.~
"I don't think Lightning is stressed." Twilight confirmed.
"What?"
"I have never seen Lightning get stressed about anything. Well, maybe except that one time with the Dazzlings, but nowhere else."
"Well, she can get stressed from a few little thin's but I believe she wouldn't be stressed on her happy day." Applejack shrugged.
"Me neither." Sunset said firmly. "Stitch, you did say Lightning gets Christmas Stress but not Birthday, right?"
"Ih."
"How in the world does she get stressed on Christmas?" Rarity asked.
"She told me that her dad and uncles go crazy with the meat during dinner, and then gives her alot of pressure on what to get." Stitch explained weirdly.
~The Rainbooms stare at Stitch in silence.~
"Well, It made sense when she told it to me."
"Well, another thing, we know she loves our city." Twilight pointed. "She thinks it's no different from her world, but she also thinks it's wonderful. She loved-"
"The farm." Applejack said.
"The boutiques." Rarity smiled.
"And The animal shelter." Fluttershy said. "So, why hasn't she thought of those places? Why was she also being mean?"
"Maybe she's just cranky because I woke her up early this morning!" Pinkie smiled up from the floor.
"Whoa! Pinkie! How long have you been awake?" Rainbow asked, a little startled.
"A while. Ever since the Pixels left." She answered. "But, yeah, maybe Lightning is stressed from being woken up!"
"At 4am, by any chance?" Sunset smugged.
"Yep! 3:57am exactly!"
"Yeah. You woke up Stitch and me." Spike chuckled.
"Well, actually, she didn't seem angry when I woke her up…" Pinkie said, thinking about it.
"You know what, I think we should just talk to her. Maybe calm her down and help her." Sunset suggested.
"That seems like a good idea. We just have to find out what's bothering her and help her solve it." Twilight agreed.
~Before anyone could say anything else, they heard a groan. They turn to the ground to see Mirus waking up.~
"Sweet geez and louise...what happened?"
"Oh, hello. Mirus, wasn't it?" Sunset asked as she helped him to his feet.
"Yes, hello, That's my name, don't wear it out please or put it on a hot wash and expect it to not be shrunk, thank you!" Mirus smiled and saluted Sunset.
"Ok, I have no idea what that means, but, how are you feeling?"
"Good. A little better. Boy, I am never eating that much chocolate or sweets ever again. Hey, where is everyone else?" He asked, seeing no sign of his mates.
"They went back to your world." Twilight answered.
"So they left me here, alone in this room with 7 girls? Well, I'm gonna have some fun." Mirus stretched his arms out and giggled.
"UH, no thanks. We were just about to go and talk to Lightning." Rainbow explained.
"Oh right, ok. Um, If I'm being honest, I don't want to go and find the others and go back to my world. I want to stay here, if that's ok."
"I don't see why not. What damage could you possibly do?" Rarity asked.
"Ooo! Are those buttons? I love buttons!"
~Mirus zooms over to the control panel under the monitor screen and doesn't waste time. He smashed his hands on the panel and swiped down on all the keys, buttons and lever on it. The hideout goes completely mad. The alarms boom and the security system kept flashing red. The Rainbooms put their hands over their ears and ducked down. Stitch and Spike also yelped and ducked.~
"WHAT THE…? Mirus, stop!" Rainbow shouted.
"Pushing all the buttons on, the buttons on, the buttons on,
Pushing all the buttons on to find out what they do!" He sang. "Click!"
~Mirus pressed another button and a large laser beam came out from the wall and headed straight for the girls. They all ducked in time but it grazed a little bit of Rarity's hair. She screams and charges at Mirus. She grabs his wrist and flipped him over to the ground. She held him there and also activated her power and blocked the panel with her diamond shield. However, the alarms were still going off.~
"Right, I think he is too reckless to be left alone! Some of us are all going to have to stay here and watch him!" Rarity bellowed.
"Wow, even if he's not in a sugar rush, he is still a handful!" Pinkie yelled, trying to double over with the alarms.
"I'll keep an eye on him. You girls go and talk to Lightnin'!" Applejack volunteered.
"We're not going to leave you to deal with him all by yourself! I'll stay too!" Rainbow assured.
"Ooo! Ooo! Me too! Me too! I can take all the energy Mirus has!" Pinkie said strongly.
"I gotta find a way to shut off the system! You three go!" Twilight gestured to Sunset, Fluttershy and Rarity.
"Okay! We can try to speak to Lightning gently and calmly to see what's wrong…!" Fluttershy smiled softly.
"She is going to need it! Alright, the rest of you, wait out here. We'll be right back!" Sunset nodded.
~Stitch jumped off Sunset's shoulders and onto Twilight's. Sunset opens the door into Lightning's room and Fluttershy, Rarity and Spike follow in after her, Wendy was searching through Lightning's laptop, probably for various details about Lightning's birthday and other stuff. The four looked at her calmly.~
"Lightning?" Sunset called.
"Yes?" Wendy answered coldly, not taking her eyes off the laptop.
"Is everything ok?" Fluttershy asked.
"Is there anything bothering you today?" Rarity added.
"No. Why would you think that?"
Sunset looked at Fluttershy and Rarity then back. "You're not acting like yourself…"
"Oh. You know. It's my birthday! A special day for this girl right here! Little worried about what to do…" Wendy quickly said, without causing any suspicion.
"Darling, please! Your birthday is supposed to be a wondrous occasion, not something to be worried about…" Rarity chuckled.
"I get worried sometimes too, but never on my birthday." Fluttershy smiled shyly. "I'd always spend time with the animals at the shelter each year."
"Are you just freaked out from that dead frog Stitch gave you?" Spike asked. "I'll admit, that was pretty freaky…"
"What?" Fluttershy exclaimed.
~Spike points to the dead frog lying upon Lightning's bed. Fluttershy places Spike down and goes up to the amphibian's corpse. She felt absolutely heartbroken.~
"Oh...poor thing."
"I know. Stitch found it by the park pond." Spike explained.
"Did he kill it?" Sunset asked in disgust.
"Stitch would never do such a thing!" Fluttershy gasped.
"Actually, I think he did." Spike said unsurely.
"How is this relevant to the birthday now?" Wendy asked rudely. The computer suddenly chimes and Wendy groans.
"Um...Lightning! Have you decided on a place yet?" Sunset asked.
"Nope! There's nothing interesting in this dull city…! And we can't have it here, because who wants to go to school on their birthday?! Beach? Too sandy. Meadow? Too dandy. Construction site? Too handy. Sweet shop? Too candy. Too MUCH candy."
~Pinkie unexpectedly pokes her head around the door when Wendy said about having too many sweets. Pinkie then states the exact amount they had, then disappears back round the door again.~
"Exactly 547!"
"Yeah. Right…"
~Wendy comically takes a deep breath but then goes back to thinking. A devious idea suddenly struck inside her mind, and she evilly smirks. She then turns back to the girls and puts on the nicest face she could put on.~
"...Chocolate!"
"What?"
"Are there any chocolate places around here?"
"There's a factory. But, that's miles away from here! Almost about 3 hours time." Rarity explained.
"It's my birthday! I can do whatever!" Wendy shrugged.
"Um...I think there's a chocolate shop down the street?" Sunset clafied.
"They may not do much but at least it's not wasting your birthday."
"What? Oh, yeah I guess there would be fine too." Wendy shrugged again.
"Alright!" Spike jumped and wagged his tail.
"I think that's a wonderful idea." Fluttershy nodded.
"We'll go and inform the others what the plan is then." Sunset said.
~Everyone, minus Wendy, smiles and walks out of the room. Wendy raises her eyebrows and began scheming maliciously.~
"This will be the perfect trap to catch them all…"
~She gets out her phone and goes to call someone.~
"Daddy? I have a plan for you...hehehe!"
~Back on Devil's Blimp, poor Lightning has never had a worse day than this. A red nose, clown makeup and toy arrows were stuck all over her face, and mocking laughs from the minions too were not helping her case.~
"Quit it!" She shouted.
"If you didn't like your new look you should have just said." Minion 2 shrugged.
Lightning struggled in anger. "I did!"
"I didn't hear. Did you?" He turned to Minion 1.
"Nope!"
~The two minions laugh and walk off. Lightning strains and struggles again and again and again, but has no avail or luck.~
"I have got to get out of here...And get this stuff off me!" She yelled at the minions. "You all better let me go this instant or else I'll make you eat this here cake!"
~The minions laugh and mockingly point gestures at Lightning's insult. Lightning is anything but amused from their laughing at that demand she just gave them. She raised a brow and puts a stern look on her face. The fourth minion ceased laughing, straightens himself out, places his hands together and walks over to Lightning.~
"Ok. How about this? A cake-off! Whoever eats the most cake will make the rules around here!" He said firmly.
"What's in it for me?"
"We don't set you free…" Minion 2 grinned.
"You won't free me, even if I do win! I really don't have a choice, do I?" Lightning asked,
"Nope!" They all go.
"Fine."
~The five main minions turned to the cake and gaze at it. Minion 4 grabs a fork and knife and gets into position.~
"You sure about this, Themas? You tend to go crazy over cake, but then the next thing we know is you're on the bathroom floor chundering everywhere." Minion 1 sighed.
"I'll be fine. That hasn't happened to me for 15 years."
"Go crazy over cake?" Lightning said to herself.
~Lightning smiles before a plate with cake on it was slid over to her and put on her lap by Minion 2. Icing covered his fingers and he looked at her uncaringly.~
"Knock yourself out, loser. The cake is actually quite good." He said as he sucked his fingers.
"Ok. Here we go, dirt-tasting, fruity flavour, soily, spongy, soggy, Devil's food cake."
"And begin!" Minion 1 threw his hand up then down.
~Devil's minion 4 (Themas) began munching down on the cake while the other minions chant.~
"Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!..."
Lightning looks at her tied up hands. "Hm...looks like I'm doing this without using my hands…"
~She leaned down and stuck her tongue out to slowly lick the icing. Once her tongue made contact though, she then immediately stopped and lifted her head back up.~
"Yuck! Still dirty! Nope, can't do this! I'm not getting any kind of reward anyway. Hmm…actually...I have an idea of how to escape."
~Lightning lifted her legs up and flicked the cake off her plate and on the ground. She then pushed it away and hid it behind her chair, so it looked like she finished it. She whistled over to the minions to get their attention, and once they all turned, she showed them the empty plate.~
"What the…?"
"Come on, minions, Is that the best you can do? I have already finished my slice. Bring me another." Lightning smugged.
"NO! We can't let Lightning win! Themas, eat more! And eat them faster!" Minion 1 commanded.
~Minion 4 looked in shock, but does as he's told. He slices the biggest piece he could from the cake and gobbles it down in one go. Shortly after, he has another piece, and another one, and another one, and another one. Suddenly, his face began to turn green, and his stomach began to grumble. He held his mouth as his cheeks began to blow. Finally, he couldn't handle it anymore and ran, clutching his stomach.~
"Uh…I'll take over." Minion 5 volunteered.
"Yeah. Ok. I don't mind." Lightning grinned. "Let yourself
"WHOA! What the…? Does this cake have strawberries in it or something? Strawberries are my weakness!"
~The fifth minion collapses to the ground and shuts his eyes. Minion 1 looks at the cake and takes charge. He is a sore loser and doesn't want to lose to his enemy.~
He turns to Minion 3. "Dude, help me with this! I'm not a fast eater!"
"Ok! Quick! Do it together!" Devil's minion 3 chomps a bit of cake, and suddenly retches. "Oh, man! This icing tastes like dirt!"
"Told ya!" Lightning yelled.
"And soil!" Minion 1 gurgles. "That's horrid! Need water!"
~Minion 1 and 3 both run out of the room in search of water. Lightning looked around and saw that there was only one minion guarding her now. This was her chance. She seized this opportunity to get away. She struggled once more, and then, a miracle happened. She finally gets an arm free.~
"Yes!"
"Hey!"
~The second minion notices Lightning untying herself so he charges at her. Lightning spots the guy coming for her, so she throws herself out of the chair and ducks down in front of it as minion 2 trips on her and lands in the chair, face first. She then picks him up and throws him on the leftover cake, splatting it everywhere in the room.~
"Bon appetit, sucker!" She laughed.
~She rubs off the things on her face and runs out of the room, while minion 2 was picking his face up from the cake. He licks the icing and crumbs off his face and makes a face that says he likes the cake. He then spots Lightning running away.~
"Whoa!" He races to a speaker. "Minions! Red alert! Lightning's making a run for it!"
~Lightning looks back to see minion 2 sound an alarm and looks back and across the corridor she sees three minions charge at her.~
"Whoa!" She screams.
~She runs back the other way and goes to activate her power but realises, her geode is missing.~
"Huh? Oh yeah, Wendy took my geode. Looks like I'm escaping the old fashioned way. Wait...Wendy! I need to get her before she ruins my friendship with the guys or does something else bad!" Lightning hops into the nearby mini-plane and turns to the gang of minions. "Thanks for the party, boys! I like birthdays, but I think too many can kill you."
~With that, she departs from the blimp with the minions staring at the bad joke she just made. Minion 1 pushes beneath the crowd and arrives at the front to see Lightning leave..~
"What Is everyone standing around for?! Go get her!"
"Johnas, she's too far away now. Admit it, she escaped." One minion shrugged.
"Not yet."
~Minion 1 (Johnas) makes his blaster appear outta nowhere and shoots at the wing of the mini-plane. The laser made a direct hit on it and it began to spark. Lightning noticed it right away.~
"Oh, sugar, honey, iced tea." She murmured.
~She grabs a parachute backpack that was just lying on the floor and jumps out of the plane. The plane spins and shoots straight down, Lightning and the minion watch it fly down and explode once it crashes in the grassy hills down below. Lightning opens the parachute and drifts away.~
"Phew...that was close. "
Minion 1 growled. "Come on!"
~Johnas and the other four main minions hop into another plane and fly after Lightning.~
"Now she has nowhere to go…!" Minion 5 grinned.
"Hm. He's right." Lightning admitted. "Wait…"
~Lightning reaches into her inside jacket pocket and reveals her blaster. She felt absolutely stupid realising she had this all along but found it convenient.~
"Wow...I didn't think I'd need this today."
~She grins and points the blaster at the plane and fires. The blaster bullets zoom past the plane and the minions, one bullet almost hit the fifth minion in the face if he had not ducked in the last sceond.~
"Whoa! Hey!"
~The fifth minion glares and gets out his blaster and starts shooting back. Lightning pulled the strings of the parachute and titled it in different directions, dodging the lasers. She hadn't noticed that she made it to the ground yet. Her foot hits a rock and she tumbles on the ground. The backpack containing the parachute left her back and she facepalmed on the solid earth. She gets up immediately, groans and looks around to see where she had landed.~
~Lightning took a step on the gravel and entered into a large skating park. Young teens skid across the park and did tricks on the half-pints, and grinded the railings. Lightning looked upon them in bewilderment.~
"Canterlot Skating Park! Why didn't I think of this place?!" Lightning exclaimed. "I...actually enjoy skating, so does Rainbow and Fierra, well, I think that's only because her boyfriend is into it."
~She smiles until another blaster bullet explodes on the ground beside her. She looks up at the minions coming to a halt and landing the plane on the ground.~
"Ok, I'll think about this later, right now, I need to get back to HQ."
~Lightning zoomed and enhanced CHS on the other side of the park. She grabs a nearby cyan skateboard and a helmet and speeds across the park, putting the helmet on along the way. The minions approached the park to just see Lightning take off. They had no choice but to also grab skateboards and chase after Lightning.~
"Get back here, Star!" Minion 1 yelled.

~Lightning and the minions continued skating down through the ramps and railings. The minions were closing behind on Lightning, so she had to find a way to lose them somehow, of course, she noticed that they didn't put on helmets, so she thought, if she makes them injure themselves on the head, it will stop them or slow them down. She wheels on a ramp and sloped down a half-pipe and does a flip. The minions jaw-drop, but two of them shake it off.~
"You want me, come and get me. Beat what I just did there."
~The minions all growled and attempted to flip on the half-pipe. Three of them made it with no problems, but Minions 2 and 5 weren't so lucky. Minion 5 accidentally placed his foot still on the floor and fell off the skateboard, and Minion 2 happened to skate right where Minion 5 landed and he stumbled over him, running him over too on the skateboard, leaving a skateboard tire mark on his back.~
"Ow!" Minion 2 yelled in pain.
"Intentional team injury?" Minion 5 inquired.
"That was not intentional at all!" Minion 2 said in defence.
"Dude, you skated over me."
"You fell in front of me! Guys!"
"Didn't see it!" Minion 3 yelled bluntly, skating away with 1 and 5.
~Minion 2 groaned as Minion 5 rolled his eyes. Lightning sees that she's heading to a skating tunnel but doesn't break a sweat. She hops in and skates upside down in the tunnel in a loop and back to the ground and carries on. Minion 1 successfully does the same and makes it through the tunnel.~
"Not a scratch." He smirked.
~Devil's minion 3 and 4 try to do the same but number 3 attempted to do the upside down trick, but couldn't stay on his board. He falls over halfway during it and falls to the ground. His skateboard hits him in the head too once it falls. Minion 4 didn't attempt going upside down, but as he skated past his mate, he guaffed at his unfortunate accident, and doesn't look where he's going. Sure, he successfully makes it out but he loses his balance on the board and then he is tripped over by another skater to the floor. He facepalms down and lifts himself up to feel blood dripping from his nose.~
He glared at the young skater he crashed into. "Oi, you skating pipsqueak! Watch where you're going!"
"Same to you, blockhead." The skater responded, getting up and skating off.
"That's Karma for ya, buddy." Minion 3 said, smiling down at Minion 4.
~While, 3 and 4 were recovering from their accident, Minion 1 was skating as fast as he could to catch up to Lightning. He reached his arm out to grab hers, but he was still not close enough. Lightning suddenly began skating in a squiggly line to avoid Minion 1's (Johnas') grasps.~
"I am going to break your birthday, once and for all for this." He shouted.
"No! I am not having this year's birthday ruined!"
~Avoiding all the other skaters, Lightning goes up a ramp and double flips. Minion 1 watches her fly over and she winks at him, clicking her fingers mid-air and she lands on the ground perfectly. She skidded to stop herself.~
"Show off. I'll show you!"
~Minion 1 quickly skates and dodges all the skaters and makes it up the ramp. He flips and goes for a double flip but his flips were too wide and far. He lands back down after one flip and skates towards Lightning. He grins and was about to grab Lightning, but he zooms past her and only makes her hair blow in the wind. He grumbled at her and turned to hit his head on the upcoming railing. He falls off his skateboard but lands on another one as it appeared behind him. He lands on the board and forms in the shape of a coffin onto it. He couldn't stop it with his feet. He heads for a helmet stand, and crashes feet first into it. He get up with over 6 helmets on top of his head.~
Lightning folded her arms. "That'll teach you to wear a helmet next time. Later!"
~Lightning waves and skates off as Minion 1 growls, removing all the helmets off his head. The other four minions arrive, clutching their fractured arms, backs and heads.~
"You let Agent Star get away." Minion 1 grumbled.
~The Minions all look angrily at Minion 1. Blaming them for Lightning's escape, 'Seriously?' They thought. But they immediately forgot about him because they knew that he wasn't the only guy that was going to be mad at them for losing Lightning.~
~Back at the blimp, all 5 minions were standing outside Devil's office, looking shy and worried.~
"Right. Who's gonna tell the bloomin' boss the bad news?" Johnas asked.
"Don't look at me. I ain't saying nothing." Minion 2 shook. "You tell him." He pointed at Minion 3.
"Me? I told him last time, you silly twit. And I don't believe in doing it twice."
"Oi, here's an idea. Them, You tell him." Minion 2 said to Minion 4.
"Tell him what?"
"That we...you know, botched the job of guarding Agent Star."
Them gulped. "Well, He's not going to like that, now is he?"
~After one minute of worrying and arguing, Minion 4 takes a deep breath and opens the door to see Devil sitting in his chair, hands-on lap, with a stern glare, like he was expecting him, maybe because he heard the minions arguing.~
"Hello there." He started.
Devil shook his head. "It's always bad when only one of you shows up. Isn't it?"
~Devil gets up from his chair and begins to circle Minion 4 by walking around him constantly with his hands behind his back. While the other minions outside have their ears on the door, overhearing Devil's constant stepping and clumping, wondering why the fourth minion among them wasn't saying a word to Devil. Devil suddenly darts to the door, peeping through the key-hole to see his minions, then he rips the door open. The minions scream as their boss drags the four inside. He lets go of their shirts and they straighten themselves out and stand in a line.~
"H-He has something to tell you, boss." The minions stammered, pointing at Minion 4.
"It better not be bad news." Devil rumbled.
They all take a step back as Themas began. "Well, we did exactly what you told us to do. And keep an eye on Agent Star. But, then she slipped out and we chased her around the skate park…"
"And?! You got her back?"
"No." Minion 1 shook his head firmly.
"Nope." Minion 2 said.
"Not even close to getting her." Minion 3 tucked his hand in his pockets.
"She is as slippery as you make them." Minion 5 admitted.
Minion 4 looked at his mates in silence then whispered. "Yeah...She got away."
"She What?! You minions of a moron! You let her escape!" He gripped onto Minion 4's shirt.
"Well-"
~Devil interrupted Them by letting him go and walking over to his desk again. He gestured his lackeys to leave and the five minions immediately flee out the door while Devil got out his phone and to call Wendy.~
"Wendy, baby. Heads up. Star escaped and is on her way to you."
"Now? What?! Those dimwitted clones let her escape!?" Wendy bellowed.
"Yes, I know, I will deal with them later, but now, you gotta deal with her so she doesn't ruin the party we're having!" Devil commanded. "Now!" He cuts off.
Wendy groaned. "Why do I have to do everything for those minions myself?!"
~Wendy does start to panic but suddenly spots some rope from below where she was sitting and the lamp on the desk, she grins..~
"Ok, don't worry. I've got this. This plan will go on…" She said to herself.
~Lightning began skating down and across the roads to CHS. She began to pant since she had been skating for a while now. She comes to a halt once her hand stroked the front statue and the portal to Equestria. And for a moment, Lightning thought she saw her hand turn into a hoof. She shook it off and threw the helmet and skateboard down by the portal.~
"Ok. I need to find the others and tell them what's going on. Now!"
~Lightning races into the school door, kicks it open and runs in the hallways past some clueless students and into the music room. Instead of playing the keys to open the piano, Lightning just rolled under it and forced the trap door open. She deactivated the security system before it went haywire and raced down the stairs into the hideout.~
"Guys! Guys! Where are-"
~Something suddenly whacks Lightning at the back of her head. She stumbled a little and was a little shellshock from the hit, but in other words, she was alright. She rubbed the back of her head and turned to see Wendy behind her holding the rope and a broken lamp.~
"OWW!" Lightning said.
"Wow. Got quite the thick skull there, Star." Wendy said in shock. "That's...weird. Well, consider this as my present to you, Lightning."
~Wendy quickly swings the lamp again at Lightning's head and smashes the bulb on the side of her head really hard. Lightning falls to the floor, unconscious. Wendy drops the lamp and kneels down to Lightning's unconscious body. She then begins to bind her arms from behind and around her waist. She pulled a piece of cloth over her mouth as well for good measure. Wendy then drags the body into a nearby closet, without any issue or danger, locks the door and puts the key in her pocket.~
"That will hold her." Wendy grinned.
"Lightning? Are you ok?" Sunset called.
~Sunset Shimmer, Mirus, and the rest of the Mane 7 appear and approach Wendy. Both Mirus and Pinkie had their hands full of chocolate wrappers and chocolate around their mouths, everyone looked in disgust, but didn't worry about it.~
"You called us over?"
"Is it something urgent?" Rainbow asked.
"Oh, yeah. Uh…" Wendy had to think of something quick. "I'm just wondering what I should wear…"
"That's it?!" Rainbow asked disappointedly.
"Why, that is certainly something urgent, Rainbow Dash!" Rarity said in dismay. She turned to 'Lightning'. "These are your favourite jeans and jacket, darling, it would be absolutely horrendous for it to get dirty. Come with me. I might have something for you for your chocolate fiasco!"
~Rarity took Wendy's hand and politely dragged her to her room. Being the superior, generous friend she is, she was going to work on something for 'Lightning' to wear. Wendy shoved her other hand in her pocket and clutched onto the closet key tightly and closely.~
"Ok." Wendy answered suddenly.
"Uggghhh...whht? (Uggghhh...what?)"
~In the closet, Lightning was waking up. She groaned from her head injury, then realised she was bound and inside a closet. She screamed but she realised that she was gagged too. She glares at the door and begins to scoot her way over to it. Once she made contact with it, she began to use her head and body to bang on the door, but since she still had a headache, she hit the door very weakly.~
"Whht?! Hmh! Gnrls, hmmp-mmmm! (What?! Hey! Girls, help me!)" She attempted to scream.
"Wow. I've never heard Lightning talk about fashion before…" Fluttershy said, rubbing her arm.
"She's probably trying to make Rarity happy by saying she wants a different, new, birthday outfit." Rainbow shrugged. "You know, something that can be ok to get dirty."
"I agree. She attempting to cheer up from her 'Birthday Stress'. Maybe." said Twilight doubtfully.
"I better call Lightning's old friends and say she has her birthday planned now." Sunset nodded.
Mirus smiled. "Great...I get to eat more sugary snacks!"
~Mirus and Pinkie's pupils both grow as they stared into each other's eyes. The thought of chocolate had their eyes and stomach's craving.~
"Chocolate?" Stitch barked.
~Stitch and Spike suddenly appeared beside Fluttershy's ankles. Their heads tilted sideways and they eyed up to the girls, all round and puffy. Fluttershy could see that they wanted to come along to this party, so she smiled down at them.~
"You two can come too."
"But, you must not take a bite on any piece of chocolate you find." Sunset said firmly.
"What? Why?" asked Stitch.
"Chocolate is poisonous to dogs." Mirus suddenly answered. "It contains a chemical called theobromine, and dogs cannot have theobromine as well as people can."
"Wow, Mirus. How do you know that?" Rainbow asked.
"I know alot about animals. I'm doing Zoology in my free time. I may be stupid for other things, but I have my strengths."
"Huh. Maybe there is more to you than I thought, Mirus."
He headbutts into a door. "How do you open these again?" He asked, feeling around it.
"Kinda." Sunset repiled. She gets out her phone. "I'm gonna call Karly now."
"Alright."
~Back in their world, Jace was shaking a glow stick and was getting ready to dance as 'Spice Girls' Wannabe' came on their karaoke machine. The girls face lit up and began to sing along.~
~Song: Wannabe- (Spice Girls)
~Karly's phone suddenly rings so she dances over to it. She had to stop singing and unplug off the machine to chat and listen to the caller on the other side. She tried to talk to her caller, but the others kept singing.~
"Hello?! One minute!"
Arianna: Oh, what do you think about that?
"Girls, quiet! I'm on the phone!" Karly yelled. They didn't hear her.
Arianna: Now you know how I feel.
"Girls...Girls…" Karly said repeatedly.
Fierra: Say, you can handle my love, are you for real?
Arianna: I won't be hasty, I'll give you a try!
"Girls…"
Fierra: If you really bug me then I'll say-
"Arianna! Fierra!"
~Arianna instantly stopped singing and looked at Karly, cheeks turning pink.. As Fierra finished her sentence and looked at Karly in annoyance because she loved that song.~
"Goodbye…What is it?!"
"What's wrong, Karly?" asked Jace.
Karly raised her finger at Jace and listened to Sunset on the phone. "Hey! What's happening? We're already singing our 10th song and we were just about to-What?"
~The Pixels make their way back through the portal and to CHS. They were delayed for a while because Karly threw up once again after coming out of the portal, and Fierra lost an earring, and she wouldn't move until she found it. Eventually she found it and continued on. The whole gang came running through the school, and making their way to the secret trapdoor under the piano. They arrived at the hideout where the Rainbooms and Mirus were waiting. They told them the birthday schedule immediately.~
"The chocolate shop?" Karly inquired.
"That's it?! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love chocolate, but I was expecting something more…interesting." Fierra shook her shoulders.
"Well, if we're being honest, your 17th birthday isn't really that...special. If it was her 18th, then yes. I would have thought of something much better for that special occasion. But, luckily, it's not her 18th. So, I understand Lightning's choice." Jace nodded firmly.
"Count me in!" Mirus cheered stupidly.
"Mirus, after all those sweets you ate, you still want more?" Arianna asked.
"Well, I do feel a lot better…"
"The more the merrier, Is what always say!" said Pinkie with a laugh.
"No way! The more the merrier? That will lead to a disaster in a matter of seconds with him around." Fierra complained. "Didn't you see what happened last time? That was this morning!"
"Say who? The Cameras?" Mirus giggled.
"I liked Mirus better when he was acting smart." Rainbow whispered to the others.
~Inside the closet, Lightning continued to whine for help, it sounded like everyone was out there, so one of them had to hear her. She was banging and muffling as hard as she could.~
"Huh?"
~Karly suddnely heard whines coming from the closet. At first, she was vague about it, but went to check it out, until Rarity and Wendy had appeared suddenly. Wendy was wearing a pink-lavender sash with 'Birthday Girl' written in gold on it. Her outfit was simple black jeans and a white top. Sure it was simple, but Rarity tried to make it high quality as well as fine. The sash was the thing that shone among it~
""Here she is!" Rarity said proudly. "The birthday girl! Now everybody will know!"
""Hm….I could live with this. What do you think?"" Wendy asked.
""Good. Perfect!"" They all put their thumbs up and nod.
""So…Are we all ready to go?""
~Everyone was cheering and yelling over each other the words 'Definitely.' 'Yeah!' and 'Let's go!'. Karly then harmlessly pulled Wendy aside for a second.~
"Uh...Lightning, can I have a quick word, privately?"
"Sure."
"You all head upstairs. We'll catch up." Karly waved.
"Alright. Don't keep us waiting, though. " Rainbow winked.
~Everyone but Wendy and Karly began to chatter and walk upstairs. With Mirus and Pinkie being the first to bolt up the stairs, Pinkie actually making it.~
"So...Lightning. The Chocolate shop?" Karly smiled, putting her hands together.
"Yeah. I wanted to do something chocolate related, because everyone loves and can't resist it." Wendy smirked. "I was mentioned the factory, but the others say that's too far away."
"Yeah, about 3 hours time. I guess the shop would just be simpler. On the bright side, they do parties. And the delicious chocolate caramel." Karly said suspiciously.
"Yuck! Caramel chocolate. Tastes like goo!"
Karly raised a brow. "Lightning, you love caramel chocolate."
"Oh! Right! Yeah, the gooey texture is marvellous!"
~Wendy, realising that she said the wrong thing, began to sweat. She attempted to cover up that little misconception, but Karly started to see right through her now.~
"Lightning, you acting a bit off. Are you alright?"
"Yes...Perfectly normal!"
"Really? Then, how do you explain this?!"
~Karly stomped over to the closet door and teleported inside it. She then teleported back with Lightning in her arms. Karly dropped her at once and gestured her to Wendy, who glared at them both.~
"You little pest!" Wendy murmured.
"Lightning. Are you ok?"
~She nodded. Karly smiled and bent down to untie Lightning but Wendy jumped on her. Karly yelped and wrestled with Wendy around the hideout. They smashed each other against the wall and on the tables hard. Lightning was desperately trying to struggle free and help Karly out, but she couldn't. The ropes were really tight! Wendy suddenly had Karly in the corner and up the wall, arm tightly pressing against her neck. Karly forcefully and violently tried to move Wendy's arm off her neck, but her strength had gone down.~
"Who are you?!" Karly demanded.
"An old friend." Wendy answered simply. "I'll show you once you're at the blimp!"
"What?-"
~Wendy swooped behind Karly and quickly pinched on her neck. She fainted instantly. Wendy caught her in held her in her arms.~
"Tsk. I should have done that hours ago."
~Lightning garbled in anger at Wendy but the girl just responded back to her by unlocking the closet and kicking her back into it. She slammed and locked it tightly once again, then focused her eyes back on Karly.~
"You're coming with me, Agent Crystal. Can't have you spoiling the party now that you know too much, now can I?" She said as she dragged her up the stairs.
~On the blimp, Devil is walking back and forth in the party room with cake splattered all over the walls. Ollie, Frank and Lairry were also there, sitting down on the nearby sofa, watching their father stride around. Frank even tried to remove the cake on the walls by eating it, but it was a bit stale and disgusting.~
"The only good thing about this day is that Lightning got a birthday party from me. I hope Wendy and her plan will be able to turn this bad day for me around…" Devil grumbled.
"Relax, dad. I'm sure it will. The minions are still getting ready, and we just have to wait for Wendy to let us know when Star's friends make it to the chocolate shop. And hope good luck will come to our side." Ollie assured him.
"Yeah. I mean, I didn't know how to bake a cake and it actually came out, ok." Frank shrugged.
"And I got lucky that Lightning was spying on me and the minions and we caught her so easily." Lairry added.
Their father glared at them. "You're just saying that to make me feel better! Maybe you have luck, but I sure as hell don't. Look at me! Luck has never been on my side yet. Come on, I want something good to happen!-"
~Devil's rage was suddenly interrupted by chatter coming from outside. Wendy then appears, poking her head around the wall of the entrance of the room.~
"Daddy, I have something for you."
"I hope it's a new pet shark to maul Lairry and wash away my troubles…Wait, Wendy, what are you wearing?" Devil asked, poking at the sash.
"Don't worry about that. Check this out!"
~Wendy pulls Karly out from behind the wall and shoved her towards Devil while holding her arms behind her back.~
"H-Hey!" Karly whinged.
~As Karly struggles in Wendy's grip, Devil looks over her. He is surprised to see her for a second but then his expression fades away to an evil grin.~
"Well, Well, Agent Crystal…Didn't expect to see you…again."
"Yeah, back at you." Karly said, trying to look away from him.
"Wait...What is she even doing here?!" Devil asked.
"I figured out the fake Lightning wasn't Lightning…!" She answered him.
"Yeah, She figured out what our plan was. I had to keep her quiet. So I knocked her out, dragged her outside without being seen by anyone, called the minions and a plane, threw her onto the plane and flew her up here to bring her to you." Wendy explained roughly.
"Well, good job, girl." Devil smiled proudly. "That's one less person to worry about capturing I suppose. Just, more to go."
~Devil walked to the nearest window and looked out of it and down to CHS.~
"I know you and Agent Star have more friends down there, Karen. And I swear 7 of them are new. They look familiar, but I can't place my finger on it. I've seen them once, I know I have!"
Ollie stood up from his seat. "Dad, the 7 girls you speak of, I think are the Rai-"
"My name is Karly, Professor Devil!" Karly interrupted. "What can't you get it right?"
"I'm not a professor! I'm a doctor!"
"I know. I just said that so you know how I feel when someone gets your name wrong!" Karly mumbled under her breath and clenched her teeth. "Honestly, I don't even think you're a doctor. When are you a doctor?"
"They don't give these out to anyone you know." Devil holds up a doctors diploma.
Karly scans the diploma and notices a price tag on it. "Anyone with 15 pounds, they do-"
"That's enough looking!" Devil turned to his daughter. "Wendy, get back to the agents' hideout and carry on with the plan! We'll be ready when you make the signal."
"Right. Keep an eye on this pest while you do that."
~Wendy glared at Karly when she said that and Karly glared back at her. Wendy then lets Karly go by pushing her forwards and races back down into CHS from the blimp to continue on her task. She took a mini plane down this time. Karly moves her eyes and stares at the villains, then goes to make a run for it. Ollie and Frank jump out of their seats and grab each of her arms before she could move anywhere and squeezes them hard. She starts kicking and squirming when grabbed again.~
"Oww! Let go of me!" Karly gasped.
"I have ways of punishing you for finding out my plan, Agent Crystal. But, I'll think about what I should do to you when I have everyone here for the surprise." Devil smirked boldly.
"Surprise?"
"Yeah…For Lightning's birthday."
"It's not-"
"No, it's not for revenge. Yet. It doesn't involve death."
"Or magic being taken." Ollie sighed.
"What is it then?" Karly asked, very confused.
"Have some patience. You will find out soon. I was meant to have Lightning already here, but-uh-she decided to take a stroll without my permission and now she's back at your HQ, but it's no problem, we can get her back later, right now. We gotta go to that party and cancel it. So, the guys can come to this party. Ok, I think I've had enough chatting now...Take her away! We'll come back for her when the surprise begins!"
"No! Wait!"
~Ollie and Frank obeyed their dad's commands and they hauled Karly out of the room, downstairs and across through the corridors until they reached a bunch of prison cells. Frank throws Karly in one of the cells and clanks chains onto her wrists. He then firmly chained her to the wall. Ollie gave Karly a smug evil smile before slamming and locking the cell door shut, leaving Karly alone in the dark. She struggles but immediately ceases since the chains were too sturdy and heavy, and that she knew no one can escape chains. Karly begins to sob softly as she collapses to the ground.~
"Hmm. Agent Crystal is such a pest, isn't she? I'm relieved that Wendy got her before she spilt anything to her gang. The plan will still go on smoothly."
"So should we be going then?" Ollie asked.
"Yes, of course. All minions, get to arms and head for the chocolate shop and hide!"
~Devil sounds an alarm and all minions begin running around the blimp, shouting and grabbing one blaster from each shelf. Karly watches all the minions run back and forth from outside her cell. She tried to get a better look at them and reach the bars of the cell door, but the chains weren't long enough and they held her back, all she could do was to just continue sobbing.~
"No...this can't be happening…! We can't let Devil ruin another birthday for Lightning. I would never forgive myself if anything happened to her this time…" She whispered.
~Devil began watching his minions get to arms. He smirked at them proudly, until he spotted little Karly sobbed in her cell. He realised that he couldn't leave her here alone on the blimp. What if she escapes and takes control of it? He started to walk to the cell but then stops when he sees the five main minions run past him like a pride of lions to a blaster shelf. He stops the first minion by grabbing the back of his shirt and dragged him back so he faced him. The four other minions see him do this so they stop and come over to their boss when he taunted them.~
"Why did cha stop me, boss?" Johnas (Minion 1) asked.
"You 5 are not going to this ambush." Devil said. "Since you did a terrible job at guarding Lightning, I'm giving you the job of guarding Kaci while I and the rest of your clone brothers are going to the party."
"Oh what?!"
"Well, hang on a second there, boss! Do you honestly think it's a good idea to put us once again on guard duty, since we failed that last time?" Minion 2 asked.
"Well, bro, if we are being honestly, Crystal is alot easier to guard since she doesn't have the high quality skills as Star does." Minion 3 answered truthfully.
"I honestly don't care. Guarding, attacking, it's all the same to me. I don't like chocolate." Portas (Minion 5) shrugged.
"Me too. I don't want to go out. I'm too tired. Guarding the agent will be a snap." Themas (Minion 4) yawned.
"So, we have come to an agreement. You're outvoted, minion! Deal with it." Devil grunted.
"HA! Outvoted!" Minion 3 laughed.
"Oh, You wanna fight?"
~Minion 2 pounces at Minion 3 and both begin fighting, then the other minions are suddenly dragged in and they begin puffing up a combat cloud..~
"Why can't you all just behave yourselves!? I'm gone! Just guard! Do not let this one get away!"
~Devil walks off to the landing dock and jumps into a mini-plane. He commands the pilot to fly and he does, directing co-ordinates to the chocolate shop. The five minions quit fighting and looked at Karly, who was burying her face in her legs. Karly tilted her head up and looked at the minions, tears still flowing in her red, strained eyes.~
"Hm...poor girl's crying. I guess it shows, Agent Crystal is a scaredy-cat." Johnas grinned.
"And a cry baby." Minion 3 added.
"Just like you!" Minion 2 swung at Minion 3.
~The minions then continue fighting, creating the combat cloud again. Karly watched them pounce then back to the wall, fiddling with her chains.~
~Lightning continued banging on the door, desperate for anyone to hear and help her, but nobody came. She began to feel pain coming from her left arm and head since she kept hitting herself against the door over and over again, for god knows how long. She had no choice but to stop. She then heard someone coming down the stairs. She peeked through the keyhole but only saw herself (Wendy).~
"Ok…where was I? Oh yeah. The Chocolate ambush. I gotta go back up the stairs again." Wendy groaned.
~Wendy was about head on up, but she saw the Mane 7, Spike and Stitch were coming down. Fluttershy was snuggling up with Spike, completely gutted. Twilight did also look a bit depressed but not as much as Fluttershy. Rainbow and Applejack didn't show much sadness, but they felt it. Pinkie and Stitch were just normal-looking. And Sunset was on her phone and just hung up on it and faced Wendy. Rarity too.
"Oh shoot-UH-hey girls! What are you doing? Why the long faces?" Wendy asked, trying to hide away the annoyance in her tone.
"We need to get leashes for the mutts." Applejack answered.
"We need to keep Stitch and Spike outside." Fluttershy sighed sadly.
"Chocolate is not the best for a dog's diet." Twilight frowned.
"But, what if we can eat chocolate?" Spike asked, tried to reason with his owner. "If Equestrian magic can let me talk, then could I at least have a tiny bite?"
"I wouldn't want to run the risk of having to take you to the vet...Stitch too."
"Come on guys, we need to hurry! The shop closes at 5 and it's already past 4!" Rainbow prompted.
"Wait for a second, Lightning, where's Karly? She was down here talking to you…" Twilight said.
Wendy gulped. "Oh…yeah, she teleported to the shop early to get everything ready." She lied nervously.
"I just called the staff and said we were coming." Sunset noted.
"Oh, you didn't tell me…"
"But I did tell Karly. I'm sure she was going to tell you."
"Hm…yes, she would have told you that during your talk unless you didn't have one at all…"
~Everyone thought for a minute, then looked over at Wendy. They all pulled on a serious face, and began to walk forward. Wendy walked back but she stopped when her shoulder blade pressed up against the wall behind her.~
"Hold on one bloomin' second! Karly should have also told you, Lightnin', about how poisonous chocolate is to dogs. And get everythin' to secure them from the shop." Applejack pointed out.
"Rrrrs! Cmmm rrr! Rammnbmms!, hmmmp-mrrr! (Yes! Come on! Rainbooms, help me!)"
~The real Lightning began to listen to everyone outside, so she carries on banging, no matter how much it hurt.~
Fluttershy gasped. "You could have put Stitch and Spike in danger!"
~Fluttershy held onto Spike tightly. Pinkie did the same when she picked up Stitch. Things were now turning around for Wendy. She knew if the Mane 7 now found out, she was done for. She couldn't handle 7 against 1. So, she tried to calm them down, even though she was sweating again, and also trying not to lose her temper.~
"Hehe. Girls, relax. Karly didn't tell me about that." She shrugged.
"Well, We also went through these things about dogs ever since you got Stitch. Didn't you listen?" Twilight frowned.
"Oh, course. I just forgot…"
Sunset glared. "Your memory is spot on! Ok."
~Sunset had decided that she'd finally had enough of being suspicious so she activated her power. She grabs Wendy's wrist and sees through Wendy's memory.~
"Who are you?!" Karlydemanded.
"An old friend." Wendyanswered simply. "I'll show you once you're at the blimp!"
"What?-"

~Sunset lets go of Wendy's wrist, and glares as Twilight put her hand on her shoulder.~
"What in the world did you do-"
"Applejack?" Sunset asked, interrupting and ignoring Wendy's question.
"Yeah?" Applejack responded.
"Go unlock the closet door."
"Uh…"
~Twilight and Sunset were watching Wendy's face as the rest watched Applejack walk to the closet, too astonished for words. She clutched on the handle and pulled, but the door wouldn't budge. Wendy was looking at the closet door very anxiously indeed. Sunset told Applejack to use her strength to open the door so she did. She pulled on the handle again and it and the lock came straight off. The door creaked open and someone fell out to the floor of the room, bound and gagged.~
"Gnrls! (Girls!)" Lightning exclaimed.
"Lightning?!" shouted all the girls at once.
~The Mane 7 turn at Wendy angrily and Stitch and Spike growl. Wendy was officially busted. On deciding to fight or flight, she picked flight. She dashes to the stairs but only for Rainbow Dash to activate her power and speed up to Wendy and pounce on her back down the stairs. Applejack also goes to help Rainbow secure Wendy. Fluttershy drops Spike and goes over Lightning. She helps her sit up first, then she politely removes her gag while Spike begins to chew on the ropes.~
"Lightning, are you ok?" Fluttershy asked concerningly.
"Ahh…! Yeah. I'm fine."
~Lightning gives Fluttershy a small smile before glaring over to Wendy still fighting Rainbow Dash and Applejack. Spike grunted then successfully chewed through Lightning's ropes and freed her. Fluttershy and Rarity then helped Lightning up.~
"Thank you, guys. " Lightning patted on Spike's head. "Wendy, what are you up to now?!"
~Lightning goes over to Wendy and removes her disguise, ripping it off and washing the makeup off with water. She also obtains her geode back by ripping off her neck.~
"Wendy?!" The Rainbooms said in shock.
"Yes, it's me, you dodos! Didn't think you would figure it out...but Karly did. And now you did."
"What is going on?" Sunset asked.
"Dr. Devil is here and he is planning a party for me…" Lightning answered.
"Really? That doesn't seem so bad!" Pinkie shrugged.
Twilight raises her hand. "Well, hang on, Pinkie, the party he could be planning might not be a pleasant one."
"Well, actually he said he didn't want to harm anyone. I didn't believe him though." said Lightning.
"Why's that?" asked Rarity.
"I don't know. But I just know he's not wanting to kill us."
"Nope. He wants to do that tomorrow when it's not anyone's special day." Wendy suddenly answered. "He wanted to ambush and capture everyone at the shop, then keep you as his prisoners until tomorrow…"
"Why exactly are you telling us all this information?" Lightning asked weirdly.
Wedny suddenly realised that and grunted. "I don't know! Right, I'm just gonna flap my lips and not say a thing now! You will never find out what I did with your friend!"
"Karly…"
"No, Where is she? What did you do with her?!" Lightning demanded.
Wendy scoffed. "Yeah, Like I'm ever going to tell you where I put her."
"Well, if you won't tell us then I guess Sunset will. Sunset?"
~Sunset, smiling at Lightning, nodded and activated her geode. She stalked over to Wendy and touched her hand again. Sunset's eyes went white as she saw through her memory again. She came back too after a minute and turned to the girls.~
"What did you see?"
"They have Karly in the blimp." Sunset answered. "Which is just above CHS."
"How long has that been there? Have you been spying on us?" Twilight asked suspiciously, turning to Wendy.
"Maybe. We need information about you guys. I guess capturing Karly and locking her up was a good call. We have security cameras, we can see how you guys sneak and move."
"She's right. Karly is locked up pretty badly." Sunset admitted.
"Oh no! Poor Karly…This is the first time she has ever been in the clutches of a villain alone…She's probably terrified and doesn't know what to do…" Lightning shivered.
"Let's not forget all the people that could be guardin' her." Applejack added.
"With the 8 of us, it would be impossible for us to rescue Karly." Twilight said with worry.
"Rescue Karly?-Karly's in trouble?!"
~Everyone was alerted by Jace's voice coming from the stairs so they turn around to see the Pixels standing by there, looking very upset, sad and angry.~
"Um…how long have you all been standing there?" Lightning asked nervously.
"Long enough to hear everything and what's happening…" Fierra answered, folded her arms.
"And believe me…this is serious…" Mirus whispered.
"Yeah, next time you go and interrogate someone, make sure you tell and don't leave your friends outside in the bus for a long time…"
"Never mind that, Fierra. Karly is in trouble!" Arianna worried.
"Yeah! She was Devilnapped right under our noses!" Mirus exclaimed.
"'Devilnapped?'" The Rainbooms inquired.
"Kidnapped by Devil. It's a thing we made up and say." Lightning answered quickly.
"What are we going to do?" Arianna gasped.
"I don't know!" Jace panicked. "Karly isn't well known for having escape skills! We have to save her!"
"And we will, Jace, I promise…" Lightning turned to the Rainbooms. "We need to get to Devil's blimp STAT! Boy, some birthday THIS turned out to be…"
"I want to help." Jace said firmly, raising his hand.
"No way, Jace, it's too dangerous…" Lightning said.
"Danger is my middle name…"
"I thought it was Reff." Mirus questioned.
"Mirus, you don't get sarcasm, do you?" Fierra sighed embarrassingly.
"Well, no. But that's not important right now! I want to come too."
"I'm not sure we can have all 12 of us do a sneak mission…Sure it's more than what I anticipated, but the blimp will be crawling with crooks. We will still be outnumbered by a large margin." Twilight confirmed.
"Actually no." Sunset said smugly.
"What?"
"When I saw through Wendy's memory, I also saw a lot of minions leave the blimp in planes and parachutes. I would say at least over 200 left. How many minions does Devil have-"
"205." Lightning answered quickly. "That means that there will only be 5 minions in the blimp, and 5 vs 12/13, means we will outnumber them!"
"Precisely."
"Shimmer, you have the greatest superpower ever!...Ok, Pixels, you can come with us."
"Yes!" Jace and Mirus both pound each others' fist.
"Huh. It seems like you also have a plan up your sleeve, Lightning…" Twilight smirked.
"I sure do. Huddle up, I'll whisper it to you. So…"
~Lightning makes the Mane 11 huddle up and she begins to whisper to them all a plan to rescue Karly.~
~On the blimp, the five minions were guarding Karly in unique ways. Minion 1 and 5 were playing a board game, Minion 2 and 3 were still wrestling with each other on the floor, and Minion 4 tried to make some pep talk with Karly. Minion 1 was rolling a dice, to begin with.~
"6! Yes!"
~He then moves a small figurine 6 spaces forward on the board game. Minion 5 glares at him and snatches the dice off him.~
"Darn it! Give me that dice!"
"This is for laughing at me!" Minion 2 threw a punch at Minion 3.
"And this is for calling me a cry baby!" Minion 3 swung his fist at Minion 2.
~Minion 4 was leaning against the cell door, not looking at Karly, but just talking to her.~
"So…nice weather we're having, huh?" He suddenly slams the cell door. "…What's Lightning's weakness?! I want to be the one to defeat her in a battle!"
~Karly doesn't give the him a response and just glares and turns away to the wall, clinging the chains too.~
"Stubborn, huh? Well, guess what, I am too!"
~Minion 4 growls at the stubborn Karly and punches the cell door so hard, he indented it. It makes Karly jump and she begins to sob again. But, Minion 4 doesn't feel remotely bad and just walks away, and loafs beside Minion 5 as he rolls the dice.~
"Prisoners can be so annoying and stubborn…" Themas grumbled.
"What did you expect?" Portas asked, rolling his eyes.
"I don't know. Maybe a nice conservation would be polite!" He yelled that as he turned back to the prison.
"You mean a shout or beg from them to let them go…?" Johnas asked in an off tone.
"No, didn't think of that…"
"Just-Why don't you go and get a drink from the bar…since we are going to be doing nothing for a long time…"
"Fine."
~With that Minion 4 walks off to the bar. Minion 2 and 3 also see him and stop quarrelling and fighting.~
"...How about we take a short break...?"
"You know, I was just thinking the same thing…"
~Minion 2 and 3 walk to the bar, following Minion 4, this left Minion 1 and 5 to look at each other cluelessly.~
"...You guard the prisoner."
~Minion 1 runs off in an instant to catch up with his fellow workers for a drink. This left only Minion 5 to guard Karly.~
"Fine. I'll red alert if anything happens…"
~The lonely minion sighed and took a good look at Karly through the bars. He then slapped on his thighs and got up from where he was sitting.~
"...Well, I'm bored…"
~The minion walks off but doesn't head to the bar, instead, he just wanders around the blimp. Karly tried to see if she could escape and get out of the blimp, but when she tugged at her chains, she had no luck in freeing herself, she just made them jingle.~
"someone…please…help…" She sobbed softly.
~Directly below Devil's blimp on top of CHS, Lightning and the Pixels are there. Lightning was going through the plan again by making a diagram with her fingers in the air.~
"So, just to remind you all of the plan…we are here...and the Rainbooms are here. They will search the upper floor for Karly when we search the lower floor. We all will keep scanning the area until one group finds Karly. When we do, we will call one another we meet in the middle of the blimp and together we will find an escape route. Got it? Let's go!"
~Lightning was about to transform into her raccoon form but was distracted by Mirus who was also waving his fingers around in the air, trying to copy Lightning's diagram.~
"It's not working!"
"Mirus, that was just a diagram." Lightning said.
"Well, we couldn't see it." Fierra said bluntly.
"No, but just-whatever. Is everybody in position?"
~Lightning looked down on her wrist calm, she was talking to the Mane 7 who were at the bottom of the building waiting for a signal.~
"We're ready when you are, Lightnin'." Applejack nodded firmly.
"If I knew this was going to happen...I would have brought up my best sneaking outfit." said Rarity.
"I don't think now is the time for that, Rarity…" Fluttershy replied.
Rainbow Dash began sneaking and she peeked her head around a corner. "Ok, we're all set! Let's just hope we make it in time. What do you think, Pinkie? Pinkie Pie? She was just right here. Where did she run off to?"
"I'm right here!"
~Pinkie suddenly appears from inside the building wall nearby Rainbow Dash, completely covered in dark-lime paint, same as the building walls colour.~
"Aahhh! Pinkie! What are you doing? Why are you in the wall? And why are you covered in green paint?" Rainbow asked.
"Camouflage, Silly! Wouldn't want to ruin Dr. Devil's surprise party!" Pinkie answered happily.
"We're just going to save our friend and get out! Not throw him a surprise party! That's what we're trying to avoid!"
"Oh, Sorry! Sometimes I get these things mixed up!"
"Ok...How exactly are we all going to get up to the blimp?" Lightning asked herself. "I can fly and the Rainbooms have leaviation powers and diamonds and...cannons, but I'm not sure about you." She addresses the Pixels. "This is the highest building in the city, but we aren't high enough yet. We-we are close."
"But not close enough…" Arianna sighed.
"Just need one more boost…" Jace said.
"Thanks for pointing out that obvious thing, Jace Donar!" Fierra grumbled.
"I'm just saying."
"Fierra, don't yell at Jace, he's trying to help." Arianna said calmly. "His girlfriend is in danger, he probably has alot of stress on his shoulders right now."
"Thank you, Aria." Jace smiled.
"I mean, how would you feel if your boyfriend was in immediate peril?"
"I wouldn't care much, since our relationship has been rocky recently." Fierra shrugged.
"Sometimes you confuse us, Fierra." Lightning sighed.
Mirus looks up to the blimp then smiles. "...You know, Lightning. I think you should open the present I got for you!"
~Mirus reaches behind his back and gets out a present, wrapped in green and yellow paper. He shoves it in Lightning's hands as she and Fierra looks in confusion.~
"You brought that with you?" Fierra asked.
"Mirus, is this really the best time to be opening presents?!" Lightning said.
"Yep!"
"Oh, Whatever. I haven't opened one yet."
~Lightning begins to rip off the wrapping paper and open the box once she had access. She pulls out the gift and it reveals a grappling hook.~
"Uh...a grappling hook? Thank you, Mirus, but what does this have to do with-"
"Mind if I borrow this?"
~Mirus takes the hook off Lightning and swings the hook all over the place. Fierra began to yell at Mirus what the heck he was doing until he throws it up and it hooks on to a part of the blimp's railing at the landing dock.~
"Nailed it!" He clicked his fingers.
"Oh! Good thinking, Mirus." Arianna smiled.
Mirus blushed. "Thanks!"
"Ok, girls, now!" Lightning shouted in her wrist calm.
"Got it, Lightning!"
~Twilight lifts herself, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie up on the blimp, sneakily. Rarity lifted herself, Applejack and Sunset to the blimp with her diamond shield, without creating a lot of noise too. Fluttershy got some help from her bird friends, lots of them. They gently lifted her onto the blimp, but the birds couldn't handle her weight and when she made it to the blimp, the birds let go and she almost fell off, if Applejack had not grabbed her hand and pulled her forwards until her feet were flat on the surface. She gave Applejack a soft, thankful smile when she was safe.~
"Begin the search!"
~Lightning smiles at her wrist calm and flies up to the landing dock and where the grappling hook was hooked up to. The rest of the Pixels then also started to climb up the hook.~
"Easy, easy, Pixels." Lightning said steadily.
"This is tiring…" Fierra groaned.
"Just keep doing what you're doing and don't look down."
"You say that, but when you do, you know that we immediately look down. Always!"
Mirus suddenly looked down. "Oh! Yep. She's right! AH! We are so high up!"
~Mirus shakes on the rope and begins to sweat on his palms. His sweat suddenly makes him slip and he starts to slide back down where Arianna was still climbing. His foot kicked her right on the chin and both began to slip down.~
"Mirus!-AH-Whoa!" Arianna cried out in panic. "Lightning! We're slipping!"
~Lightning looked down to see her two friends falling and quickly flew down to help. In desperation, Arianna grabbed at Mirus's leg. It was no use. All she succeeded in doing was dragging Mirus with her down faster. Mirus' fingers began to slide off the rope, but before the last finger could release it, Lightning made a smooth gesture with her hand that brought Mirus and Arianna's slide to an immediate halt.~
"I gotcha, I gotcha."
~Lightning took Mirus by the hand and helped him cling on to the rope again. She did the same with Arianna too. Lightning then wheeled underneath the two and held her hands out, ready to stop them if they slipped again. Mirus and Arianna breathed out in relief and continued making their way up the rope. Once they were near enough, They grabbed Jace's hand, who had it out for them, and pulled themselves up and over the railings of the blimp.~
"There we go. Ok, Feet flat down on the floor." Lightning smiled.
"Oh my gosh, Thank you so much, Lightning." Arianna gasped.
"I'm glad you're now a superhero! It's both thankful and awesome!" Mirus chuckled.
Jace Donar nodded then looked around. "Ok...where to now?"
"This way!" Both Lightning and Twilight said to their team.
~Lightning points right and Twilight points left and the two groups zoom off.~
~The seven Rainbooms wound their way through about ten minutes of dark, quiet hallways before they emerged quite unexpectedly into a vast well-lit balcony. Rainbow Dash blinked at the sudden light. Looking around her, she peered over the railing and in the distance, there appeared to be hundreds of party decorations, balloons and streamers. These minions were definitely busily working to make this party for Lightning a success. The girls began walking through it, keeping a sharp eye out for Karly, and bobby traps.~
"Where could Karly be?" Rainbow whispered beside Applejack.
"I don't know, Rainbow Dash. But we gotta keep lookin'." Applejack replied.
"Watch out for traps too, girls." Twilight warned. "Knowing a mastermind like Devil, he's bound to set traps for intruders."
"Don't worry, Twi! We'll be careful. Besides, I think it will be very easy to avoid them since they are completely obvious to see."
~Rainbow points up and everyone looks in that direction to see a cage hanging from the ceiling on a chain. Rainbow then pointed down to a tripwire hook and attached to a string that was linked to the cage.~
"And if we do get caught, we have these." She lifts up her geode around her neck.
"Hey, What about this?"
~Pinkie scoots in between Rainbow Dash and Applejack and grabs their arms while doing so. She points and pulls them over to a large computer against a wall with rainbow coloured question marks painted all over it., making it look fun, or luring. Twilight suspected that this computer had 'trap' written all over it. She and the rest approach it with wonder.~
"What is it?" Sunset asked.
"I'm not sure." Twilight responded, stoking her chin.
"Greetings, challengers." The computer suddenly spoke. "Welcome to the Devil quiz of the century. I take it you want a map to find a specific place on this blimp, correct?"
"Yes please!" Pinkie said.
"Ok then. Answer these questions and I'll give you the map of this here blimp. Once the question is answered and is correct, go through the door for the next one…"
Twilight raised a finger. "Umm, how many questions do we have to go through-"
"Question number 1: Who sings the song 'All about that Bass'?"
~The computer lights up and reveals 4 buttons and 4 options on its screen with singers' names written on them. The Mane 7 had four options they can choose from to answer the question. But they all looked completely dumbfounded at it.~
"What kind of question is that?!" Rainbow asked.
"Yeah?-I-I don't even know that song…" Sunset said.
"These must be questions from Lightning's world." Twilight guessed.
"But we don't have, Lightning, or Karly, or any of their other friends with us!" Fluttesrhy gasped.
"We will just have to guess…"
"We only have a 25% chance of getting it right. That worries me."
"What happens if we get it wrong?" Fluttershy asked in worry.
"I don't know."
"Neither do I. But I don't want to find out."
"What are the options we can choose from?" Applejack asked.
~Sunset, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Applejack took a look and perused an option each.~
"Taylor Swift?"
"Miley Cyrus?"
"Adele? Just Adele?"
"Or Meghan Trainor?"
Rarity began thinking about the question for a moment. "...Well, If I have to guess…I'll go with the fourth one." She then said, still feeling unsure.
~Applejack goes with her friend's choice and presses the button underneath the name 'Meghan Trainor'. The computer does sounds a nice little chime and opens a door next to it that leads to the next question.~
"Good guess, Rarity!" Applejack smiled in relief.
"Well, you know, I'm good at pop culture." Rarity flipped her hair.
"You're just lucky." Rainbow said smugly, crushing Rarity's moment. "Come on, let's hurry to the next question!"
~The Mane 7 go through the door into the next room but then the door closes behind them once all have entered in the next room. Fluttershy leapt when it shut and clung onto Rainbow's arm. Applejack went back and tested the door, but it was firmly shut.~
She grunted and struggled to get it open. "It locked us in." Applejack confirmed.
"I was right. This is a trap." Twilight worried.
~Applejack stared at the door and tried to punch and break through it, but it was layered with too much steel. So were the walls. Strength isn't going to help.~
"I don't think I can break through it, y'all. We're just gonna have to find another way out."
"And I'm thinking the only way to do that is to answer the questions this computer has to offer." Sunset sighed.
"Ok, shouldn't be that hard. We just need luck on our side." Rainbow breathed.
The computer in the room suddenly flashed. "Question number 2: In Minecraft, how many things can you eat in the game?" It asked in a robotic voice.
"This gonna take a while…" Pinkie groaned.
~Meanwhile, on the right side of the blimp, the Pixels were searching the grounds, yelling Karly's name, hoping she would respond. Lightning rubbed her neck and slowly looked around. She feels absolutely terrible that this happened to Karly, and blames herself for her capture. She tries to ignore it and just make it up to her by rescuing her. She watches the Pixels run around, and call for her.~
"Ok, come on Lightning, don't eat yourself up for this …"
Jace cupped around his mouth. "Karly! Karly!" He shouted.
"Karly!" Arianna called.
"If you're there, make a chicken noise!" Mirus yelled.
"Or… just give us a shout normally!" Fierra called while raising a brow at Mirus.
"Guys! Try not to shout so loud!" Lightning whispered. "It could attract unwanted attention. There are still 5 minions lurking around…We said this. Never not think that Devil would just leave his blimp undetected."
Mirus nodded suspiciously and smiled. "Right…"
~Mirus quietly tiptoed over to the next room, without looking at the sign bolted on the square pillar that read 'Bar. This Way.' and an arrow pointing in that direction. Lightning's eyes widen.~
"Mirus! Don't walk in there! I remember! Its leads to the-"
~Lightning softly pounces on Mirus to stop him from walking. He falls down and Lightning lands on top of him. They both look up and see four of the five minions sitting at the bar, drinking beer and laughing.~
"The bar. Hide!"
~Jace and Arianna quickly pull Lightning and Mirus off the ground and they all quickly fumble and cower behind the corner. The five Pixels poked their heads around the corner and eavesdropped on the minion's conversation. The four minions were swaying on their chairs, looking pretty sluggish. Their mouths were squiggly and covered with beer foam, indicating that they had been drinking. Alot. Minion 3 slapped his hand on Minion 2's shoulder and laughed with him.~
"Cheers and Beers, brothers!" Minion 1 yelled, as he raised the glasses in his hands, spilling them on the ground as well.
"Yeah! Cheers, mate!" Minion 2 nodded.
"Hey, hey, buddy. The E.Q.U.E.S.T.R.I.A Agents?...hic...Won't stand a chance against us, once our boss and other fellow brothers get them!" Minion 3 hiccuped.
"Yeah...They don't even realise that...that they're going to...attack them."
"Heeeyyy….hasn't anyone noticed that Portas had been awfully quiet lately? He's guarding the prisoner like a mouse." Minion 4 pointed, chugging his drink.
"Yeeeaaahhh...shouldn't we be worried...?" Minion 2 asked.
"Relax, boys...hic... He's just down the hall, right, left, left again and the 3rd cell to the right. He will give us a shout if anything happens." Minion 1 shrugged.
~The Pixels have heard enough. And frankly, they were shocked that that minion practically just served them the explicit directions to Karly on a golden platter. Lightning broke and silence and whispered into the others' ears.~
"Right, well, thank you for giving us the exact location of Karly. Let's go." She ordered.
~The Pixels sneak pass the minions and run down the hall around the bar.~
"Boy, I hope Karly's not injured." Jace sighed. "If she is, that Devil scum will pay for hurting her!" He clenched his fist and pounded it in his other hand.
Mirus pouted his lip. "Well, I'm gonna say we have two options of what we could find her like. Unconscious or dea-"
"Don't say it!" Lightning interrupted, not wanting to hear 'that' word.
"Geez, Mirus. What would you say a thing like that?!" Arianna asked in shock.
"I said COULD. Not will. Could. She could be perfectly fine and I could be wrong." Mirus shrugged.
"You have just said the word 'could' like a million times…" frowned Fierra.
"I COULDn't have agreed more, Fierra."
"Ok, now you are just being childish. Are you trying to get on my nerves?"
~Fierra was about to complain more but didn't because Jace stopped walking in front of her, causing her to bump into him. Why he stopped was because the Pixels have come across two pathways going left and right.~
"Ok…which way did he say to go? Left?" Lightning asked.
"Right." Arianna said.
~Lightning nodded to Aria and turns to walk down the left pathway.~
"She meant to go down the right pathway, Brightning." Fierra sighed, annoyed.
"My bad."
~Lightning spins and runs down the right pathway. They rest follow her by jogging along with her, but they all come to a halt again and see another choice of left or right to make. Lightning stoked her chin.~
"Which way now? Right?"
"Left." Arianna answered.
"Ok, So, we are making a left?"
"Right." Fierra nodded.
That did not narrow things down for Lightning. "Are we making a left or a right?!" She bellowed.
"Left! I meant right as in 'correct'!" Fierra answered back.
"Don't yell at me, Fierra! People make this mistake, ok?! You see it on vines…"
"That's just to make a joke…" Jace said.
"Well, you know what I mean."
~Lightning leads the way again and turns left. The Pixels unsurely follow her. After going left once more, the Pixels come across four prison cell doors. They guaranteed Karly was in one of them.~
"This must be the place." Lightning confirmed.
"The only question now left is: Which door is the third one?" Arianna asked. "It's either, this one or this one."
~Arianna pointed at the two holding cells in the middle of the cell doors on the outside.~
"Well, obviously, it's this one." Mirus said rather confidently, pointing at the left door.
"How do you know?" Lightning asked.
"I don't. Well, not unless I do this. Karly! Are you in there? Where's that chicken?!"
~Mirus screamed at the top of his lungs until four hands covered his mouth. The hands belonged to each of his Pixel buddies, who look at Mirus in shock.~
"For 5 minutes...Could you not scream your lungs out, FOR 5 MINUTES!" Fierra screamed.
"Uh, that goes for you too, Fierra." Lightning said bluntly. "It's bad enough that Mirus screams alot."
"Yeah, but-"
"Mirus? Fierra? Lightning? Is that you?" a voice asked shockingly.
"Karly?!" Jace exclaimed.
~Jace rushed to the middle left cell door to see where that recognisable, shy, soft voice was coming from. Karly ran at the door to clutch the bars but the chains thrust her back to the wall, but they did make the jingling noise that attracted the Pixels to the cell. They peeped through the barred window on the door to see the friend they were looking for in a bad condition.~
"Jace? Arianna? Pixels?"
"Karly!" The Pixels cheered.
~Jace smiled in relief and put his arm and hand through the bars. Karly tried to touch it, but the chains wouldn't allow her. Both Karly and Jace frowned until Lightning pushed her way through her buddies to look through the barred window.~
"Karly, you ok?" She asked her partner.
"Li-Lightning! I could ask you the same thing!"
"I'm-I'm fine! Great!"
"We caught the imposter, Karly!" Mirus explained. "It was Wendall, the daughter of Devil!"
"I-I know, Mirus, I figured it out when I was brought here." Karly laughed.
"You're not hurt, are you?" Jace asked in worry.
"No...I'm alright. My eyes just sting a little because I was crying…"
"Oh...Karly, I'm really sorry." Lightning frowned. "I should have tried to help, but I didn't, and I let down your guard and let Wendy overpower you and-"
"It's ok, Lightning, it wasn't your fault. What could you have done? You were restrained and I am not the strongest hammer in the shed. How did Wendy even take your place in the first place?"
"Long story…I'll tell everyone when we get back. But first, we need to get you out of here!" She turned to the Pixels. "Any ideas, anyone?"
Mirus stooped down and tested the door. It did not budge, of course. "Yep, that's locked up good."
"We need something to break down the door…" Arianna pointed.
"But what?"
~The Pixels try to think of a plan to break the door, then they all look at Jace, and smile. The smiling began to turn creepy real quickly though. Jace stepped back when he realised all eyes were on him.~
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" He nervously asked.
~Seconds later, The Pixels were holding Jace altogether below their chests and charging at the cell door, with Jace's head was heading straight for it first.~
"Not the face! Not the face! NOT THE FACE!"
~The Pixels began shouting and soon enough Jace's head became in contact with the door with a lot of force-*SMASH! The door busted open. Karly lifted up her leg and stood aside as her crazy friends crashed into the wall she was chained to. When the Pixels crashed, they stumbled and piled onto each other. Lightning and Jace stood up first.~
"Good job, Jace. Your skull is so thick, it can break through anything, including brick or steel!" Lightning exclaimed, patting Jace's back pretty hard.
~Jace didn't respond to Lightning because he was too busy walking in circles, dazed once again. All he could see was a bright light and circles.~
"Next time...we are...using...Mirus as the battering ram…" He then finally said, with his words being a little slurred like he was drunk.
"With pleasure. This noggin' could use a smacking." Mirus smiled, knocking on the top of his head.
~Lightning happily rolls her eyes and giggles at the boys, but doesn't waste time with her best friend. She went to Karly and firstly made sure if she was okay, which sure looked like it. Lightning then reaches into her jacket pocket and gets out a pocket knife. She went through various knives, lasers and other weird settings on it, until she found a safe cracker like tool and started unlocking the chains. She began fiddling inside the lock until she heard a clunk. The chains clip off Karly's wrists and fall to the floor.~
"There you go, Karly. You're free." Lightning smiled, putting the pocket knife back in her pocket.
"Thank you, Lightning, thank you." Karly breathed as she rubbed her wrists. "Those restraints were starting to chafe."
~They both give each other a warm hug. Jace, Arianna, Mirus and Fierra join in too soon after. They stayed huddled for a while but then they all had to dismantle because Lightning held out her arm with the wrist calm on it.~
"Ok. Now that you're with us. I better call the Rainbooms and let them know."
"They're here too?! Oh, I wonder where they are right now on this blimp of madness." Karly wondered.
"Question number 76: What year did Mexico become independent?"
~The Rainbooms were completely bored out of their minds. As the computer was reading out to them the question twice, they laid on the ground, stumped on it. Suddenly, their wrist calms start vibrating, and the image of Lightning shows up.~
"Girls? You in?"
"We're here, Lightning." Sunset responded.
"Did you find Karly?" Twilight asked.
"Yep. She's safe with us."
~Lightning points her screen into Karly's direction and she peeks into it and waves. Pinkie and Fluttershy smile and wave back.~
"Great! Oh, and uh…, quick question: What year did Mexico become independent?" Rainbow asked while smiling.
"Oh, I don't know…Arianna! What year did Mexico become independent?"
"Um...1820? Or 21? I think somewhere between 1820 and 1825…" Arianna called.
"Let's go with 1821 because that's the only number on here that's in between 1820 and 1825." Twilight shrugged.
"Okay!" Pinkie smiled, also saluting Twilight.
"Press it, Pinkie!" Rainbow exclaimed.
~Pinkie jumps and smacks the button below the number '1821'. The computer chimes in the correct tone and opens the next door.~
"Sweet!" Rainbow cheered.
"Thanks, guys." Sunset breathed.
"Uh…sure. What are you girls even doing anyway?" Lightning asked.
"Answering random questions about history and games in your world." Sunset answered glumly.
"Ah. That would be Devil's booby trap pop quiz. He challenges his intruders with random questions about life in the past, gaming and more…I take it you fell for the trap." Lightning folded her arms.
"Afraid so, How many questions do we have to go through?"
"Around 200."
"What?!" Rainbow groaned. "We're going to be in here forever! We are only on Question 76!"
"Lightning, what happens if we get a question wrong?" Fluttershy asked with worry all over her face.
"I can't remember, Flutters. Something terrible, of course. Just hang in there, and try to base yourselves on luck! We will try to find a way to get to you!"
"Ok, Lightnin'! We'll do our best." Applejack nodded.
~Lightning gives her rainbow friends a salute before cutting out. The Rainbooms give each other a reassuring nod as they go into the 77th question the evil computer has to offer.~
"Question number 77: How many Lego video games have been made?"
The Rainbooms went blank. "Uh…"
~Suddenly, Lightning reappears on the wrist calm and yells out a random number.~
"69!"
~Conveniently, '69' was an option. Rarity presses the button below '69' and the door opens, chiming pleasantly.~
"Thanks, Lightning." Sunset said.
"How did you even know that?" Rainbow
"Wh-what?! Oh! Umm...Know what?" Her voice sounded alarmed.
"You yelled out the answer to our next question." Twilight answered. "How did you-"
"No-nothing! Nevermind! Uhh, nothing! I'm gonna hang up now! Hang in there!"
~Lightning immediately cuts out before things got awkward. She turns to the Pixels, especially Fierra, angrily.~
"NEVER ask me that, again."
Fierra snickered. "If I knew you were going to answer it, I wouldn't have asked."
"Can we just go find the girls and leave this place…?" Karly asked, worried.
Jace put his arm around Karly. "Yes, please, Lightning? I can feel Karly shaking still."
"And my wrists still hurt…" She added, rubbing them again.
"Yes." Lightning nodded. "Come on."
~Lightning motioned the Pixels to follow her and stay quiet. They all lightly tiptoed back to where they came from. Karly was taking alot of deep breaths while she walked, and Jace was comforting her as much as he could. He took her hand and felt a little chill.~
"Wow, your hands are like ice, Karly…" Jace said quietly.
"Was the cell that cold?" Fierra asked, looked back at the couple.
"Yes...the chains were too." Karly shivered.
Jace sighed deeply. "I can't believe Devil did that to you...hold on."
~Jace takes his arm off Karly and stops walking to look down at his jacket. He unzipped the zip of his jacket and took it off abruptly. He then threw it over Karly's shoulders and tucked her hands deep underneath it. Jace then rubbed Karly's arms in an attempt to warm them up.~
"Here. You need it more than I do…" Jace smiled.
"Thank you, Jace." Karly breathed. She softly kissed his cheek, feeling like she loved him.
"Aww, isn't that sweet? Heh heh."
~The lights dimmer then go completely dark. The Pixels' eyes grow and they huddle up together with their backs to each other. They circled the room in search of the voice that said that. All was quiet again for a moment and the Pixels were alone. Or, so they thought. They then spotted the figures of the five minions coming towards them on every side, four of them limping. They were all wearing night-vision goggles so they could see in the dark.~
"Who's there?!" Fierra demanded.
"What's the matter, girl? Are you scared of the dark?" Minion 1 answered, swaying his head back and forth.
"No!"
"Who are you? Wh-where are you?" Arianna asked in fear.
"We are your worst nightmares!" Minion 2 laughed evilly.
"Wow. The minions are really scary when they're drunk." Lightning said.
"We see that you have busted your friend out. Nice. But, I'm afraid this is where you will stop, turn around and go back into that cell." Minion 5 prompted while laughing evilly.
Karly ran behind Jace and Lightning. "No!" She whimpered.
Lightning looked at Karly in fear, then to the minions in anger. "Okay, First, you kidnap me and throw me the worst party I have ever had. Second, you attempt to spoil the party my friends planned for me and attack them. And Lastly, you kidnap Karly, lock her up and make her cry, without feeling any sympathy. That's where I draw the line. Show yourselves and fight me, you drunken cowards!"
"With pleasure."
"Karly. Mirus. back me up."
"Ok…"
"On it!"
~Lightning activates her power and goes into her raccoon form. She clicks the left side of her mask and it buzzes at her touch. A night-vision display illuminates her view, she could see everything clearly again. She navigates through the cluster of her friends, and makes her way over to where one minion was standing. He charges at Lightning only for her to drop and grab him by the waist and throw him over her head.~
"Mirus, heads up!"
"Huh?"
~Mirus looks up to see nothing. It was still pitch black darkness for him and the others. The minion crashed right on top of him and pinned him to the ground.~
"Oh. Right, you don't have night-vision, or any kind of superpower whatsoever."
"You have night-vision, Lightning?" Karly asked, trying to feel her way around the place.
"Yeah, did I not mention that? My raccoon form helps me see better, in the light or the dark, and amplifies sound and smell. And, right now, my nose is telling me that someone hasn't taken a shower in 5 days!"
"They were broken, what do you want me to do? Go outside and bath in a puddle?" Minion 3 shrugged roughly and sarcastically.
"It would be better than not showering at all." Arianna said, clamping her nose. "I can actually smell it now."
"Yeah, and with my super sensitive raccoon nose, it's much worse for me." Lightning shuddered.
"Oh, shut up!"
~Minion 3 growls and charges at Lightning. However, she just stare glares at him, then takes out her blaster and shoots him rapidly. The green laser blasted in his chest and he fell down on his face.~
"Fierra, catch!"
~Lightning tossed her blaster over to Fierra, and she surprisingly turns and catches it at the right moment.~
"Use that if a foe comes running at you!"
"But, how am I supposed to know if the person running to me is a foe?! It could be a friend-Actually, nevermind. I'll be able to tell. Or I can shoot Mirus for being a dip head for this entire time." She pulled a smirk on her face.
~A whoosh suddenly flies past Fierra and she turns around to look for it. Sadly, she could not see it, or anything still.~
"Will someone please turn on the flipping lights?!" She asked angrily.
"O-ok!" Karly and Jace called.
"Watch out, you two!" Arianna warned.
~Jace takes Karly's hand and runs through the battle. He put his hand out in front of him in hopes to feel a wall, or if he's really lucky, a switch. Suddenly, he felt something. He threw a punch and hit something cold and smooth. No doubt it was a wall. He let go of Karly's hand and began to use both of his hands to feel around and across the wall until he felt something out of place. Karly helped too. They searched in the darkness for about 10 seconds until Jace found what he thought was a lever. He felt it first before he touched it, and nodded, being one hundred percent sure that it was a light switch. He flicked the lever upwards and the whole blimp regained light again.~
"There." Jace smiled.
"Ja-a-ce!" Karly cried in distress.
"Karly? What's wrong-"
~Jace stopped in his question and gasped. Minion 4 had snuck up on Karly and grabbed her from behind. He twisted her arms into a hammerlock behind her back and pulled her towards him, making it difficult for her to get away.~
"Help!" Karly cried.
"Back to your cell, Crystal." Themas said firmly.
~Karly's captor began dragging her away to where the cells were again. Lightning saw Karly being dragged but couldn't help her. Minion 1 and 2 were battling her hard, so she couldn't abandon them to help, as much as she wanted to.~
"Karly!" Lightning yelled.
"No! Wait! Hey!" Jace waved his hands in the air to get Minion 4's attention.
He turned around in annoyance. "What?"
"Umm…"
~Jace shook his arms and hands beside him and got into a fighting position. He then stuck his tongue and pulled a nasty, but hilarious face.~
Minion 4 raised a brow. "What? You think that'll upset me? Wow, very mature-"
"INCOMING!"
~Mirus, who was wrestling with Minion 5, suddenly came thrusting in at full speed straight towards Minion 4. They knock him over and he lets go of Karly as he got caught in their fight. Karly immediately rushes over to Jace and hugs him.~
"Thanks, Jace...I guess. You too, Mirus."
"No problem, Karly."
~Karly and Jace both look right to see Mirus just standing beside them, even though they thought they saw him fighting with Portas just a second ago. The three look over and see him actually now fighting Themas. They laughed as they watched them fight, without knowing that Mirus isn't the one they're punching.~
"That was fun." Mirus smiled.
"Oww!" Minion 4 yelled.
"Hey-wait a minute." Minion 5 sees Mirus smiling at him across the room.
"Ha ha. You spent 10 seconds fighting with each other instead of me." Mirus laughed.
~Minion 5 looks down and sees Minion 4 in his hold instead of Mirus. He releases him and growls at the three friends, still laughing at them.~
"Alright, you little sneak, you think you're funny?!"
~He gets out his blaster and aims it straight at Karly, Jace and Mirus. They cease laughing and put their hands in the air.~
"Well, let's see how funny you find it when I knock you out, for good!"
"Yeah! Won't be so humorous, would it?" Minion 4 smiled, as well as groaning off the floor.
~Two green bullets suddenly hit the two minions' legs. They yell in pain and drop down on the ground again to clutch onto them. Fierra stands over them while spinning the blaster on her finger.~
"No one threatens Mirus but me." She said to them firmly.
"Whoo...thanks, Fierra." Jace waved.
"I really didn't do it for you, I just didn't want them to hurt you."
"That's kinda saying you did it for us." Karly raised her brow and smugged.
"Whatever, Karly." Fierra rolled her eyes.
Lightning suddenly comes down from the ceiling. "Ok...that's those two taken care of. That took forever. Are you guys alright? Are we all here?"
Jace began counting. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5-Arianna…? Where's Arianna?!"
"I thought she was with Lightning." Karly said.
"No…"
"Um...guys…?"
~The Pixels turn and see Minion 3 holding Arianna under his arm, the barrel of a blaster aimed at her head too.~
"Help…?"
"Hey!" Lightning glared.
"Ah ah ah. Don't make one step. Not unless you want your friend's head lasered into oblivion."
"You wouldn't…" Karly gasped.
"Oh yeah. Set it to the kill setting. Think it's about time to get serious here."
~Lightning glared and was about to think of something to save Arianna, when everyone hears the sound of screaming behind the nearby question mark wall. The minions look in suspicion.~
"What? Was? That?" Minion 2 asked, getting up from the floor.
~Minion 3 tucked his blaster in his belt and went to the question mark wall. He dragged Arianna with him too. He opens the door but immediately slams it again afterwards. He backs himself away from the door, looking in fear and breathes heavily.~
"What is it?" His mate asked.
"You mean 'Who is it?!' I-actually don't know! But they look familiar!"
"How familiar?"
"Remember Adagio…? She mentioned having enemies...The Rain...Rain…"
"Spit it out, man! The…"
"The...The Rainbooms!"
~The Mane 7 burst down the door and pounced on Minion 3 and Arianna, like a bunch of alleycats. They all crumpled in a pile after they stopped rolling. Arianna, Fluttershy and Rainbow were the first to pick themselves up.~
"Oh, um...We're sorry!" Fluttershy apologised.
"No, we're not!" Rainbow turned to Arianna. "Well, to you, we're sorry. But not to them!"
~Rainbow stood up and went over to Lightning, eyes completely serious.~
"Hey, girls. You made it through!" Lightning smiled.
"Barely." Pinkie shrugged, eyes wide open.
"You have no idea how fast we went through that." Rainbow said, pointing back at the colourful wall.
Twilight nodded. "What I'm the most impressed about is that we got every single question right." She suddenly smiled and adjusted her glasses. "Talk about being lightning smart."
"Well, mostly every single question right…" Sunset noted. "We got the last one wrong."
~The Rainbooms begin flashbacking on the question they got wrong. They were staring at the computer screen, completely knackered. Sunset shook her hands.~
"Alright girls, just hang in there. This is the last question, and when we answer it correctly, we're out of here."
"Finally!" Rainbow sighed in relief.
"Hit us with the next question, computer!" Pinkie glared, while smiling.
"Question number 200: What food is Devil allergic to?"
Sunset perused the four options. "Let's see…"
Pinkie suddenly slides in front of Sunset and reads them aloud. "Peanuts? Cheese? Marshmallows? Or CAKE?" She scoffed, feeling very offended. "AW! Who would ever be allergic to cake?!"
"I'm going to go with Peanuts, since it's a common allergy…" Twilight shrugged.
"I guess...I was going to go for Cheese since it has dairy….Perhaps Devil is lactose intolerant." Sunset suggested.
"Hmm…."
~Twilight, feeling lucky, presses the button beneath 'Peanuts'. The computer flashes red and yells 'Incorrect!' over and over again super loudly. It then activates the booby trap and a pack of party poppers appear from the wall and blow them at the Mane 7. They scream and run around the room, dodging the smoking poppers and covering their ears.~
"Ow! That burns!" Rainbow shouted.
"Somebody turn it off!" Applejack yelled.
~Sunset swipes her arms over her head to protect herself from the poppers as she makes her way over to the button again and quickly presses the button below 'Peanuts' and the poppers go back into the walls. The Rainbooms sigh in relief, with some of them making sure they don't have severe popper burns.~
"Ok, well, we know it's not Peanuts...Strangely." Twilight said.
"Maybe it's Cheese."
~Sunset cautiously presses the button below 'Cheese' and a robotic hand/arm holding a pinata bat comes out of the wall below Rainbow Dash's leg and swings. The bat strikes Rainbow in the knee and makes her wobble to the floor.~
"Ow!"
"Oh my goodness! Are you alright, Dashie?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
"Here, Let me take a look…"
"Well, the answer ain't Peanuts...or Cheese. Maybe it is Cake?" Applejack shrugged.
"Who is this man?!" Pinkie whispered angrily.
~Applejack nervously pressed the button beneath 'Cake'. They now had a 50-50 chance of getting it right, but once again, they got it wrong. Pink, blue, yellow, orange and green party string was sprayed all over the room, getting in everyone's hair and faces. Everyone screams.~
"Ah! My hair! I just had this combed 1 million times already!" Rarity shrieked.
"I guess the answer is marshmallows." Sunset said, pressing the button and stopping the string.
"Come on, I knew it was marshmallows, all along!" Pinkie smiled.
"Well, why didn't you say anything?"
"I wanted to be sure that cake-hater wasn't actually allergic to cake! Also, I was curious to see the bobby traps! And lucky enough, I needed more party string for my cannon!"
~Pinkie stoops down and scoops up two arms full of the string off the floor, she can not wait to use it and put it in her cannon. Fluttershy, meanwhile, was brushing the string off her shoulders and onto the floor for Pinkie to continue picking it up, She then turns to the computer where a '199/200' score shown on the screen.~
"At least, we have now got through all the questions…" Fluttershy sighed.
Rarity nodded. "Indeed. Now, where's the exit to this-"
"Found it."
~Rainbow Dash points and goes over to the exit door. She reached for the handle but it suddenly began moving by itself and opened by itself. Rainbow Dash looked up and at the person that opened the door, but not for long. They instantly shut the door in her face and she glared at them.~
"Hey!"
"What was it?" Twilight asked.
"One of Devil's minions! And he's got one of Lightning and Karly's friends. Maybe they're in trouble too. Quick! We need to bust the door down and help! All together! One, Two, Three! CHARGE!"
~Rainbow clutched herself on everyone's arms and made them charge at the door. The Mane 7 burst down the door and pounced on Minion 3 and Arianna, like a bunch of alleycats.~
"Now, we're here." Applejack finished.
"Devil is allergic to marshmallows. Really?" Lightning laughed. "I never knew that."
"Girls! The minions are getting back up again!" Karly exclaimed.
"Right."
~One minion reached out to grab Karly but she ducked away, avoiding the guy's grasp, Lightning charged and headbutted him out of the way. The rest of the Rainboom agents also charge in, and the Pixels too.~
"Oh no." The minions glup.
"13 against 5, baby!" Mirus smiled.
"Actually...it's 25 against 13. Baby." A familiar evil voice laughed.
"Oh no!" Lightning said, instantly knowing whose voice that is.
~Over 20 minions appear and gang up on the Pixels and the Rainbooms. They tried to fight back with their attackers but had no avail. They were clearly outnumbered here. Each minion grabbed everyone each from behind and below their shoulders to the arms and gripped on tight. Mirus, Rainbow Dash and Applejack had to be subdued by 2 minions. Karly was grabbed and pulled back by Minion 4 and she gave a small cry for help to Lightning. She was about to help Karly and the Mane 7 and the Pixels when she was grabbed by Minion 1 and 2 from behind and below the shoulders to the arms.~
"Hey! Ughhhh! Not again!"
"Wow. I didn't even have to plan an ambush at the chocolate shop, I got everyone exactly where I want them." Devil shrugged.
Lightning grunted. "No…"
"I got Lightning, I got the Pixels, I got-" Devil turns to the Rainbooms and gasps evilly. "Good grief and gracious! I remember you 7! You're the Rainbooms! I knew you looked familiar! You were with her," He pointed at Lightning. "and I captured you," He pointed at Twilight. "And then you were eaten by my iguana, and Adagio told me a lot about you…and about your...magic…" He stared at their geodes for a while. "And-Ooh, this is just too perfect!" He turned to Lightning. "Now everything's coming up Devil! Is there anybody else I should know about?"
"No…" Lightning fibbed. "Stitch and Spike…" She then said under her breath.
~Lightning was about to call for Stitch and Spike to help but Frank stormed in with both dogs restrained under his arms, whining in pain. The rest of the siblings showed up too. (Ollie, Lairry, Wendy)~
"Caught these two trying to sneak in." Frank stated, looking at the pups in his hands.
"Oh, Huh, good job, son. They have dogs too!" Devil clarified, lifting up one finger.
"Never mind." Lightning kept on struggling.
"Sorry, master. We tried." Stitch whimpered.
"So, how many guests do we have for this party?"
"15 including the dogs, sir."
"That's a number I can live with. But not the dogs. Get rid of them."
"What? No! Leave Stitch and Spike alone!" Lightning yelled. "This is between you and me! It's my birthday, and you want to throw a party for me, fine! Go for it. It may be the worst ever, but I don't care. As long as you're not killing, or hurting anyone, it's fine!"
"You are not planning on killing anyone today, are you?" Arianna asked.
"Of course not! Who in the world has gotten killed on their birthday?"
Karly tilted her head to the side. "St George. 23rd of April-"
"Shut up, Khara!" Devil interrupted rudely.
"It's Karly." She frowned.
"Whatever!… Great, you made me lose my train of thought."
"Good."
"Of course I don't want to kill you today! It's your birthday! Like I said before, no one's that evil! Well, actually, it may be your birthday today, but it's not anyone else's." His eyes wandered to the Pixels and the Rainbooms.
"Oh, did I forget to mention it's my birthday today, too?!" Pinkie smiled nervously.
"Yeah. mine too?!" Rainbow nodded.
Mirus raised a brow. "No. It's not, is it-
"Shh!" Rainbow glared.
"How about I throw everyone of this blimp for the fun of it?!" Devil grinned.
"Sounds good to me. Well, except Agent Star, Agent Crystal and the Rainbooms, father. They contain powerful magic, remember?" Ollie asked.
"Right, Ollie! They will remain as my prisoners until I invent a magic extracting device, or something!"
"Precisely."
~The Rainbooms and Karly gulp while Lightning just glares. Frank smiles and carries Stitch and Spike over to a large open window. He holds them both out of it and they began to yelp and yap in fear.~
"No, no, no!" Spike howled.
"Spike!" Twilight cried.
"Stitch...!" Lightning shouted.
"No...!" Fluttershy gasped, struggling in her captor's grasp.
"Any last barks?" Devil asked the dogs.
~Stitch and Spike said nothing and just growled.~
"Suit yourself. Frank?"
"Right, dad, boss, dad."
"NO!"
~Lightning growls and slips out of the minion's grasp. She spins and pounces on Frank before he lets go and lets the puppies plummet to their death. Stitch and Spike both roll out of Frank's hands and Lightning jumps away from Frank to carefully stop Stitch and Spike and scoop them in her arms. She smiles and nuzzles Stitch in relief. Twilight and Fluttershy also sigh in relief.~
"Oh my goodness…" Spike panted.
"Lightning…" Stitch looked up at Lightning with round eyes.
"I got you two. It's ok."
~Spike licks Lightning on the nose before being softly placed down on the floor. Lightning smiles but then glares back at Devil, ready for something to be thrown at her by him. Devil growls at Lightning and turns to his dozens of minions.~
"DON'T JUST STAND THERE LIKE LEMON CAKES! GET HER!"
~Half of the minions look at Devil confusingly, because they were a little bit busy keeping the other agents under control. But the other half charge at Lightning at full speed and power. Lightning glares to the left and right as the minions charge at her on both sides. She then jumps as the minions tried to pounce on her but they end up bumping into each other. Spike wags his tail and cheers. However, Stitch decided to get into the action. He growled and ran straight at Devil. He grabbed onto his leg, opened his mouth and bit down as hard as he could. Stitch's teeth sank in Devil's skin until a bit of blood began to leak out.~
"Yowwww! Oh, you-"
~Devil grabbed Stitch by the collar and lifted him up to shoulder height. Not long after, Devil struck the dog on the head hard with his bare hands, and dropped him. Devil then pushes the dog away from him by kicking him. Spike quickly scurried over to Stitch and slowly pushed him away from Devil. Everyone else gasped from what they just witnessed. Stitch and Spike both began to whimper, and Stitch began licking his wound and his paw so he could rub the wound with it. Fluttershy was absolutely crushed. She thrusted her arms down quickly to get the minion to let go of her. And after she escaped her captor's grasp, she runs to Stitch and kneels down.~
"Oh my, Stitch, are you ok...?" Fluttershy asked, lifting the poor pup up in her arms.
"Not good, but not bad either." He whimpered, licking his wound still.
~Lightning gasps at Stitch's injury and looks angrily at Devil, clenching her teeth and growling.~
"Devil. Don't you dare hurt my dog!"
~She activates her power, gains her raccoon ears and tail and flies to the minions holding everyone captive and knocks them all over like dominos. This also let all the minions' guard down, so Lightning's friends could jolt out of their captor's hands.~
"Thanks, Lightning!" The Pixels called and cheered.
~Lightning gives them a wink before flying off again. The minions that got knocked over by Lightning stood up and saw that everyone was ready to continue to fight. As they looked at them with glaring eyes and smug faces, they crossed their arms and got in a karate position. The good guys and bad guys charged at the same time at each other until they collided. Lightning looked around for Devil, ready to battle him face to face. She sees Devil creepily stalking over to Fluttershy still comforting Stitch. She notices him coming over and she gasps frightfully, but attempts to stand her ground.~
"You know, I have never felt this good since I killed that cat in that alleyway those years ago."
"You...hurt an innocent creature?!" Fluttershy shrieked.
"Innocent?! That thing tried to KILL me. Well, now, it won't be the first…"
"You're heartless!"
"It's what I'm known for."
"If there's one thing, I can't handle, it's people, like you, that hurt animals. It's mean! And wrong And not nice!" Fluttershy exclaimed.
"You sure have a grudge, don't you? Tsk. Honestly, do I even care? Ha! Nope!"
~Devil raised his fist, ready to pound and Fluttershy shut her eyes in fright, but before the villain could hit her, something flew beside him.~
"Hey, Devil!" Lightning called.
"Huh?"
~Devil looks to the left only to get punched in the face by Lightning as she swooped down. She landed on her feet and went over to protect her shy friend and her dog. Lightning looked around and motioned Fluttershy to get behind her so she can shield her.~
"Stay behind me, you two."
"ok...Thanks, Lightning…" Fluttershy put her hand on Lightning's shoulder.
"No problem, Agent Shy." She patted her hand.
"Agent Shy?-Wait, You made the Rainbooms agents?!" Devil exclaimed.
"Uh-huh. Sure did. They are really good at fighting, look around you, for pete's sake!"
"You're now dealing with us, and them!" Rainbow called out from the battle.
~Devil's blood began to boil red and it formed all over his face. A minion throws him a blaster, and first, it hits his cheek and drops to the floor. Devil looks at the minion with disappointment, but cheers for the blaster. He picks it up, turns back to Lightning, Fluttershy, Stitch and Spike and fires. Lightning gets out her blaster quickly and fires too. The lasers collide with each other and explode on contact.~
"Haha!" Stitch laughed mockingly at Devil.
"Oh, that was just the beginning, little blue freak! Don't laugh too early!"
"Wh-what?!" Fluttershy gasped.
"Plan C! Ollie! Activate the secret weapon!"
"Dad, we agreed to never use Plan C. That weapon will bring down the agents but also the entire blimp." Ollie worried.
"Oh, Just do it! I'm desperate!"
~Ollie sighs and presses a nearby button. The large glowing sphere up above everyone opens up and a giant boulder crashes down and starts rolling to the left side of the blimp.~
"Everyone get out of the way!"
~All the minions freak out and run away from the danger, however, they push the Mane 7 and the Pixels to the boulder, hoping they will get crushed.~
"OK, I strongly suggest we Run Away at this point!" Lightning yelled, grabbing Fluttershy by the hand and running away.
~Everyone turns and runs away from the boulder, trying to get out of its way to avoid being crushed as it was rolling towards them.~
"You went to the Prometheus School of running away from things, didn't you, guys?" Lightning asked.
Mirs nodded. "Yeah, I did. I even got a diploma."
~Mirus randomly makes a diploma appear and holds it up for Lightning to see. Fierra, who happens to be running beside Mirus, looks at it and him unimpressed and slaps the diploma out of his hand out of anger.~
"Hey, that took me 10 years to get!" Mirus' lip quivered.
"Geez Christ, Lightning! This job is even more dangerous than I ever imagined!" Fierra screamed.
"Well, You get used to it. I know Devil does." Lightning turned to the madman in irritation. "You used a giant boulder as your secret weapon, In a blimp!"
"Yeah. I always wanted a trap or plan that involved a boulder. What could possibly go wrong!?" Devil shrugged simply.
~The Pixels and the Rainbooms reach the wall of the blimp and just about escape from being squished by the boulder by spinning to the left or right. The boulder hits the wall of the blimp and because it's so huge and heavy, it pulls the blimp down and makes the blimp tilt sideways, sliding everyone to the side of the blimp. Some people land on the boulder and some land on the side of the blimp and on top of each other.~
"As it turns out: EVERYTHING! I thought you said you didn't want to kill me today!" Lightning yelled, struggling to get out of the cramped spot she's in.
~Devil crosses his arms and shrugs his shoulders at Lightning.~
"Remind me to make a shirt for Devil that reads, 'Clueless idiot' on it." Lightning whispered to Fluttershy.
"Applejack! Do you think you can use your magic and lift this boulder?" Sunset asked.
"I can try!"
~Applejack activates her power, spits in her hands, rubs them together and starts to lift up the boulder a bit off the wall. The blimp and everyone also turned back upright once the boulder was lifted off the wall and put in the middle of the place again. The minions saw what Applejack was doing so they pulled out their blasters and began to rapidly shoot at everyone.~
"Whoa! Hey!"
"Eat lasers, henchmen!"
~Rainbow Dash fires back at the minions with the blaster she found nearby her and they all dodge desperately and hide behind walls. Jace and Mirus suddenly got caught in a corner and couldn't move as the minions were still firing at them. Rarity sees them helplessly dodging so she activates her power and protects both boys from the blaster bullets with her diamond. They both stare in amazement.~
"Cool…" Mirus reaches out and touches the shield.
"Wha-How are you doing this?" Jace turned to Rarity.
"Magic powers...?" She answered, looking at her hand in confusion.
"Awesome!"
"You guys have superpowers too!? I thought only Lightning and Karly did." Jace pouted.
"Where do you think they got them from?" Rainbow asked happily.
"A shooting star, meteor, thing." Lightning shrugged.
"Yeah, that wouldn't be possible without us."
"Wow. We Pixels still have a lot to learn and know about you girls." Jace admitted.
"Yeah, maybe we can tell you after all this, if we make it out alive!" Rarity screamed.
"Umm...yes...ok."
"But just to be clear, Lightning is the shapeshifter?" Mirus smiled, pointing at Lightning.
"Yes!" Lightning answered from the far wall to them, Fluttershy held closely under her arm. "I can partly transform into 3 animals: A raccoon, A penguin, and a lizard. As a raccoon, I get ears and a tail and can fly, I have enhanced sight, smell and hearing too; as a penguin, I can breathe underwater, shoot ice, turn water to ice, and resist the cold; and as a lizard, I grow claws and can climb walls and ceilings, breathe fire and resist the heat."
"That is pretty awesome."
"What can you girls do?" Jace asked, turning to the rest of the girls.
"I can...read memories." Sunset answered.
"That's it?" Fierra shrugged. "So, you can't like, make them real, or turn them into nightmares, or something?"
"Um, no."
"So, let's just say that Lightning is the OP one."
"What do you mean, the OP one? Pinkie can make confetti and hundreds and thousands explode!" Lightning squealed, trying to not feel like she's better than the rest.
"That's right! Like this!"
~Pinkie sprinkled sprinkles in the palm of her hand, let them glow and charge up for a second, then fired it at a group of minions. It bursted when it got near and made the minions' hair go crazy and their faces go dark.~
"Whoa…" Mirus felt his eyes sparkle.
"I have super speed!" Rainbow smiled.
"And I have strength!" Applejack added.
~Rainbow sped off to another group of minions and ran in circles around them. They tried to glare at Rainbow while she circled them, but they couldn't keep their eyes on her. Their eyes suddenly began to sting and blind them for Applejack to charge in and punch and swing them across the blimp to crunch against the wall.~
"Wow…" Arianna gleamed.
"See? All the girls can be OP! It's not just me." Lightning shrugged.
"Wait a second, if Applejack's there, then who's making sure the boulder doesn't make the blimp move again?"
"Steady, guys!" Karly yelled.
~Everyone looked in the centre and saw Karly, Sunset and Twilight trying to put the boulder back in the glowing sphere it came from. Twilight had the boulder levitated off the ground with her magic, while Karly and Sunset were directing her where to put it. They successful got in back into the sphere, but didn't know how to keep it there.~
"How do we close it back up again?" Sunset inquired.
"Oliie pressed a button, so we need to find that button!" Karly exclaimed.
"Did someone say button?!" Mirus queried. "BUTTONS!"
"Go and find that button, Mirus!" Lightning ordered.
~Mirus nodded hard and raced off. He sped across the battlefield like a bolt and pounded on the wall he crashed into. He laughed it off and looked to his left to spot a big round red button surrounded by black and yellow stripes, meaning danger. However, Mirus just ignored the stripes, jumped up and smacked the button with the palm of his hand. The lights began flashing red and everyone slowly turned to Mirus.~
"Self Destruct, activated."
"Mirus…?..."
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Fierra asked angrily.
"I pushed this button, I thought it'll close up the sphere thing." Mirus shrugged nervously.
"I don't remember the button having yellow and black stripes around it!" Twilight glared.
"Clearly, that was not the button!"
"No. It was this one."
~Lightning flew over to the correct button and pressed it. The sphere light closed up and the boulder was back inside it, but now, she and the others have a much bigger problem.~
"This blimp will blow up in t-minus, 90 seconds. Goodbye."
"What do we do, boss?" Minion 2 yelled.
"Evacuate, of course!"
"But, I always thought a good captain never leaves his sinking blimp!"
"That's an old pirate saying! And it's not sinking, it's blowing!"
~Everyone fled to the landing docks of the blimp at once. Over 5 minions bundled into a miniplane each and almost crushed each other when climbing on board. They departed at the speed of light and abandoned any other fellow comrades that might have been left behind. The Pixels, the Rainbooms and Stitch and Spike snuck around from the landing docks, and with help from their powers, they flew, floated or slid back down onto the roof of CHS. They climbed down from the roof and onto the grassy fields to watch the planes leave the exploding blimp from above.~
"Well, that was intense…" Jace panted.
"Totally. I do not expect him to have that." Lightning rubbed her head.
"Well, what did you expect? It's Devil." Karly shrugged.
"True-"
~Lightning was suddenly interrupted by a giant explosion in the sky. Everyone looks up to see flaming parts of the blimp rain down upon them. Devil appeared next to the agents and screamed like a young girl.~
"My blimp! My beautiful blimp! You group of teenagers ruin everything! First you destroy my castle and now this! Mirus Hallot, you really tick me off with your constant button pressing and not thinking of the consequences!"
"Hey, you were the one who built a self destruct button, and also, didn't put it in a safe position." Lightning said, defending Mirus' honour.
Mirus held up his finger. "An excellent point."
"Shut up, Mirus!" Fierra yelled. "You still pressed it!"
"I did tell you putting that button in was a bad idea…" Ollie frowned.
"So did I!" Lairry added.
"Be quiet, you two! Especially you, Lairry!" Devil sighs. "This is a disaster…"
"So, can we go…?" Karly asked.
"Yeah, I don't think so! You are not leaving my sight until it's tomorrow! And I am so killing Mirus first once the sun rises on the next day. Minions, round everyone up while I go and have a piece of cake, I haven't had a piece today and I want something to drown away my sorrows."
~As the minions surround the Pixels and the Rainbooms, Devil angrily stabs a fork into the cake on his plate and scoops up the biggest bite he could possibly get on the fork. He opened his mouth wide and stuffed the piece down. As he chewed on it, his face lit up.~
"Whoo! Yum! This cake is delicious! This cake is scrumptious! This cake is-" Devil stopped in his sentence. He suddenly gags and begins to wheeze and cough. "Oh! What the-What is in this cake?!"
"Flour, salt, milk, eggs?" Frank queried.
"Expired milk, nonetheless…" Lightning whispered.
Ollie looked at his dad in a panic. "What about decorations?"
"Strawberries, chocolate, sprinkles, and marshmallows."
"Marshmallows?!" The Rainbooms exclaim.
"WHAT?! Marshmallows?! AH! I'm terribly allergic to marshmallows!"
~Devil stood back and began to violently wheeze and cough. It didn't take long for his head to swell up and blow like a balloon. Everyone looked at him in shock.~
"So, Devil is technically allergic to fun? Sounds about right." Karly giggled.
"Frank, why would you put marshmallows in the cake?! You know father is allergic to them!" Wendy bellowed.
"I don't know, I was just following this recipe I found online!" He showed everyone his phone.
"Hey, that's my recipe!" Pinkie pointed. "Sure, I said marshmallows were the best to put in the cake, but you could have excluded them if ya want."
"Well, it's too late for that now!" Wendy glared.
"Quick, guys, they're distracted, let's get out of here!"
~The team noticed the minions staring bluntly at their boss, so they slipped out of the circle of them and made a break of it, without being chased. Devil notices the guys leaving though.~
"Hey, they're- Actually, forget it. I do not want to mess with these teenagers right now. I'll wait for tomorrow…"
~Suddenly, a wail of sirens was heard not far from here and a swarm of police officers appeared and pointed their guns at the bloated Devil and his lackeys. The Pixels and the Rainbooms see the police invade D.E.V.I.L and turn back to see it happen. Peeking around the school, they watch the police overwhelm Devil and place everyone in handcuffs.~
"Dr. Devil. You're under arrest for the multiple crimes you have committed over the past few months." One officer said.
"Whoa, wait. Who called the police…?" Lightning asked.
"He has to be arrested, ok?" Fierra shouted. "He has caused us too much trouble for us and you always forget to call them yourself!"
"Right, well, thank you Fierra." Lightning shrugged.
"Come along, Vinny Devil." The police officer prompted, as he shoved Devil out to his car, hands behind his back.
"His first name is Vinny?" Sunset laughed.
"It is." Lightning replied, smiling.
~Devil gives the teens a death glare so they remain silent for a while, but then one of the Rainbooms lets out a snicker and Devil immediately turns to the group with hatred in his eyes.~
"HEY! I HEARD A SNICKER BACK THERE! SHUT UP! I'll be back, Pixels and Rainbooms! I swear! Now, someone get me my pills." Devil grunted.
~Inside the school, the 13 teens and 2 dogs were walking to the hideout, all a complete wreck. They walked into the music room, downstairs to the hideout and collapsed on the table.~
"Well, this is a birthday I will never forget…" Lightning sighed.
Arianna breathed. "At least, we made it back here."
"Safe." Fierra said firmly.
"And soundy." Mirus smiled.
"Devil's in prison so we don't have to worry about him anymore. And Karly is saved and unharmed." Jace smiled at his girlfriend.
"Yeah, thanks for the rescue, guys. Even though it's been the strangest by far." Karly shrugged.
"Talk about some birthday…" Sunset said to Lightning.
"Eh. It has not been the worst for me."
"Really?" Rarity queried.
"Yeah...every year on my birthday...a villain attacks us. ALWAYS!"
"What? That's terrible!"
"Is that why you were so worried at the very beginning?" Fluttershy asked.
She nodded. "For the past 10 years, Devil, My dad's enemy, or some other villain always comes to ruin it. I haven't had a decent birthday ever since my 7th. It's just tough for me to be safe on my birthday. I'm glad this one didn't go up in heavy smoke." She turned to the Rainbooms. "You girls, really helped me and saved this birthday from not being one of the worst, so I thank you for that."
"Of course." Sunset smiled.
"Now we're even!" Rainbow pointed.
"Yeah-haha! I guess we are!" Lightning laughed.
"Hey, hey, Lightning! Are we calling this day an end?!" Pinkie asked.
"I think so, yeah?"
"What? No! Come on, the day is still bright! I need to give you a proper birthday! Nothing's gonna ruin it this time!"
"I agree, darling, it's still your birthday. We can still do something." Rarity insisted.
"Well, if you insist. I actually know exactly where to have my party. Should we go then?"
"Yeah! Finally! Let's bring out the party games!"
"Actually, bring out the skateboards!" Lightning gushed.
~Sometime later, at the Canterlot Skating Park, Lightning was skidding across the railings on a skateboard, with Rainbow and Mirus close behind her. Lightning stops and high fives her two friends as they rode by. She then skates over to where the others were and sits by them.~
"Well, now, aside from this morning and our run-in with Devil, this has been a splendid party." Rarity shrugged.
"Yeah, it has. I'm glad everyone could make it. Expect Rolt...Haven't seen him in forever." Lightning sighed. "To be honest, he's not truly a Pixel. He recently joined us, and is a little bit insecure, but I'm not giving up on him."
"That's nice of you, Lightning." Twilight nodded.
"Thanks. Hopefully he'll get there."
"Slowly, that is." Fierra rolled her eyes.
~Lightning rolls her eyes and starts laughing. They rest do to as they stuffed their cakes with birthday cake.~
"Ah…! This is the life, huh? Nothing could possibly ruin this perfect dream."
"Happy Birthday, Lightning!" called a loud, high-pitched voice.
"Aaaahhh!"
~Lightning jerked awake, her eyes wide with fright. Suddenly jolts her head up and bangs it straight onto Pinkie's. They both groan in pain, then start laughing.~
"Too close?!" Pinkie shrugged.
"Waaay too close." Lightning laughed.
"Do it again, guys." said the director off camera.
"We need something to break down the door…" Arianna pointed.
"But what?"
~The Pixels try to think of a plan to break the door, then they all look at Jace, and smile. The smiling began to turn creepy real quickly though. Jace stepped back when he realised all eyes were on him.~
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" He nervously asked.
~Seconds later, The Pixels were holding Jace altogether below their chests and charging at the cell door, with Jace's head was heading straight for it first.~
"Not the face! Not the face! NOT THE FACE!"
~The Pixels began shouting and soon enough Jace's head became in contact with the door with a lot of force-*SMASH! All the Pixels crash and tumble into the tightly shut door without doing any damage to it at all. It didn't even budge.~
"OWW!" yelled Jace.
"Don't you ever get tired lugging that big raccoon tail around, Lightning?" Devil asked. "I mean, I guess it's good for fighting and flying and stuff, but for sitting and other stuff, I would think it's uncomfortable."
"Eh. It is a little but you learn to get used to it." She simply answered.
"Ah. Well, I thought I'd ask you, because...you would know. "Is your Penguin outfit thing a coat or is it covered in, like, really tiny feathers?"
"Well, a bit of both. It's a coat on the outside but on the inside, it's full of very warm and fuzzy feathers." Lightning shrugged.
"Oh right." Devil blinked. His watch suddenly chimed. "Time's up. Back at it I guess."
~Devil smashes his tea cup on the ground and it shatters on contact. He then pounces on Lightning and both continue to brawl and rolls over the floor.~
"See?! Completely fine. So have some." Devil glared.
"I don't want to." Lightning simply answered.
"We made it for you, eat it!"
"I said, no!"
~Devil growls and scoops up a little bit of Frank's cake off his plate. He thrusts the handful into Lightning's mouth and gets it all over her face and shirt.~
"There. You're good? Good." Devil nodded.
~Lightning muffles then spits out the cake straight into Devil's face. The people off camera start giggling. Lightning looked at them in confusion, then turned to the fourth wall.~
"Oh sorry, was I not meant to spit it in his face? Oh! Sorry, man." She turned back to Devil and laughed.
"You know what? I'm just gonna go back in my trailer and take a break." Devil waved his hand at the camera.
"We'll shoot this again tomorrow, ok?!" The director said.
"Okay!" Both Lightning and Devil respond.

"Shut up, Mirus!" Fierra yelled, throwing a tomato at him.
It hits him square in the face. "Whaaat? I can sing!"
"No, you can't!"
"Oh, shoot! The phone's ringing! Uh, Johnas! You take care of it!"
~The fourth minion gets out the phone from the backpack and gives it to the first minion.~
"No way! Portas has the best Lightning impression!"
~The first minion went to shove the phone in Portas' hands, but he threw it too hard so it ended up flying out of the door.~
"Ooop. Bye Phone!" The minion laughed.
"Oh my gosh!" Lairry gasped, then snickered.
"I am so glad that wasn't actually my phone…" Lightning panted.
"Tell the prop designers we're gonna need another phone."
"What do you know? It is me! Watch this, Left foot, Right foot! Left foot, Right foot! Sugar crash!"
~Mirus suddenly jumps up and turns to his back. He crashes to the floor and groans, making everyone around him super confused and embarrassed. Jace felt totally skeptical. Fierra facepalms and stares at Applejack, believing this is her fault since she didn't keep an eye on Mirus very well. Arianna blushes, and tries to shield her face from how shameful she is.~
"Sorry about this, girls. He's had too much sugar." Jace apologised.
"How much exactly?" Twilight asked.
Jace opened his mouth to answer, but went blank. "What was my line again, I'm sorry?"
~Everyone around him began laughing.~
"547 pieces." Twilight said.
"Oh yeah…"
"Yeah, about 3 hours time. I guess the shop would just be simpler. On the bright side, they do parties, the factory does not. And they do make mint chocolate better." Karly said.
"Yuck! Mint chocolate! No, it tastes like a bush!"
Karly raised a brow. "Lightning, you love mint chocolate."
"Oh! Right! Yeah, the bushy texture is marvellous!"
~Wendy, realising that she said the wrong thing, began to sweat. She attempted to cover up that little misconception, but Karly started to see right through her now.~
"Lightning, you acting a bit off. Are you alright?"
"Yes...Perfectly normal!"
"Have you got BS?"
"BS? I'm sorry?"
"It stands for birthday stress! You couldn't have forgotten that because you have a great memory...unless…" Karly gasped. "You're not Lightning!"
~Wendy swooped behind Karly and quickly pinched on her neck. She fainted instantly. Wendy caught her in held her in her arms.~
"Tsk. I should have done that hours ago."
"You 5 are not going to this ambush." Devil said. "Since you did a terrible job at guarding Lightning, I'm giving you the job of guarding Kaci while I and the rest of your clone brothers are going to the party."
"Oh what?!"
"Come on!"
"Well, shoulda seen this coming…"
"I don't even like chocolate anyway!"
"Yeah, neither do I. It's a stupid sweet. Did you know that chocolate was actually made to be gross when it was invented? Yeah? It contained alot of disgusting things, even other foods, like potatoes-"
"NERD!" All the minions shout.
~Lightning and the minions continued skating down through the ramps and railings. The minions were closing behind on Lightning, so she had to find a way to lose them somehow, of course, she noticed that they didn't put on helmets, so she thought, if she makes them injure themselves on the head, it will stop them or slow them down. She wheels on a ramp and sloped down a half-pipe and does a flip. She suddenly crashed into another railing and facepalmed the ground.~
"Ooh…" The minions groaned.
"OWW!" Lightning yelled in pain.
"You ok, Lightning?" Johnas skated up to Lightning and helped her up.
"Yeah, I'm ok…"
"Um, your nose is bleeding…" Themas pointed. "Let's get you to the nurse."
~Themas pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and put it over Lightning's nose to stop the bleeding.~
"Thank you, Themas."
"No problem."
~Minion 2 groaned as Minion 5 rolled his eyes. Lightning sees that she's heading to a skating tunnel but doesn't break a sweat. She hops in and skates upside down in the tunnel in a loop and then her head on the wall upon landing.~
"Ouch…" She groaned.
"She's injured herself again!" Minion 2 called.
~Minion 2 stops skating lifts Lightning off the ground. She stumbled a little and was about to fall over again, but Minion 2 grabbed her and held her up properly.~
"There you go. I gotcha."
"Thanks...sorry, I have never skated before…"
"It's ok...You'll get there...we have time." Minion 2 smiled.
"I know, but still…" Lightning shrugged.
~Before anyone could say anything else, they heard a groan. They turn to the ground to see Mirus waking up.~
"Sweet geez and louise...what happened?"
"Oh, hello. Mirus, wasn't it?" Sunset asked as she helped him to his feet.
"Yes, hello, That's my name, don't wear it out please or put it on a hot wash and expect it to not be shrunk, thank you!" Mirus smiled and saluted Sunset.
"..."
"Sunset?" Twilight tapped her shoulder.
"Hm? Oh! Sorry, I was caught off guard from that…"
~The Rainbooms start snickering.~
"What? My introduction? It is a fine introduction, thank you very much! Do not get confused!" Mirus spoke like a 19th Century gentleman.
"I won't next time, sorry." Sunset laughed.
"What was with that 19th Century talk, Mirus?" Rainbow asked, smiling so hard.
"What's wrong with speaking like this? I think it is absolutely magnificent! Such balderdash!"
"Um, you do know what balderdash means right?" Twilight asked.
~Everyone starts laughing again.~
~Lightning was sat beside a round table, looking through the script.~
"Giant boulder in the blimp?! How the hell is that thing not gonna bring down the whole thing?!"
"Well, it's not actually real, Miss Star!"
"Yeah, but it's supposed to be in the film!"
"Good point...oh well."
"Wh-Really? Really? You guys are so lazy..." Lightning sighed.
