Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Big Mac, Zecora & Cadence are finally marrying their lovers, and decide to invite all their friends! But, Rainbow Dash is nervous about how well she’ll do as the reverend.
Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Zecora, Big Mac, & Cadence have been dating Discord, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, & Rarity for quite some time and decide now is as good a time as any to finally tie the knot and celebrate their love. All of their friends and family are coming to their weddings which will be held at the Crystal Empire Castle and Rainbow Dash is given the job of reverend! But, the awesome 20% cooler friend is really nervous about how she’ll do for her friend’s special occasion! Can she get her act together and make this 6-time wedding a perfect one?
NOTE: Rated teen, just to be safe as it contains some mild profanity in a few chapters and only one scene of not too raunchy sex.
It was a nice day at Sugarcube Corner. Everyone was there! Rainbow Dash, Applejack, The CMCS, Cozy Glow, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Spike, Moondancer, Starlight Glimmer, Dr. Fauna, and Shining Armor were all just discussing the face that Twilight Sparkle, the princess of Friendship and Fluttershy, the element of Kindness had announced their love for each other.
“Hey, you know what I just realized?” Shining asked. “If Fluttershy and Twily ever have kids…”
“Whoa-whoa-whoa!” Pinkie interrupted. “They’re having kids?!”
“I call Godfather!” Rainbow called out a little too quickly.
“You can't just call Godfather.” Shining said to her reassuringly.
“Yeah, Don't you think her brother should be Godfather?” Moondancer asked.
“Sure, if you cared enough to call it first.” Applejack said a little snarky, dodging a death glare and a punch from Rainbow.
“Guys, we’re a few steps ahead of them.” Dr. Fauna said to remind them.
“Yeah, big zero gravity moon steps.” Rainbow said jokingly.
“Oh!” Moondancer said in astonishment. “Oh, I just thought of the greatest wedding gift to get you.” Just then, they all saw Fluttershy come in looking a little more nervous than usual. “Well, speak of the devil.”
“Hey, Flutters!” Rainbow said. “Whatcha got there?” She noticed that she had a little black box in her hooves.
Fluttershy was pretty shy at what she was about to do with Twilight, but she took in a deep breath and decided to tell them. “Girls? I’ve got something important to tell you.” She said. “I’m gonna ask Twilight to marry me.”
Everyone spat out their shakes and/or cupcakes at the kind Pegasus’ latest announcement as they turned to her. “Wait a minute, is this, is this for real?” Rainbow asked in shock.
“Yeah, check out the ring.” Fluttershy said as she opened the box, revealing a diamond ring inside it. Everyone oohed and aaahed at the sight of it.
“Oh my Celestia!!” Rainbow and Applejack said in shock.
“So you two are really serious?!” Starlight asked in shock.
“Yep, pretty much.” she said as she blushed happily.
“You-you’re gonna get married?!” Shining Armor asked in shock and excitement. “I mean… I’m gonna be a brother-in-law!”
“I think I’m gonna cry!” Moondancer said in amazement.
“Golly, that is the most beautiful engagement ring ever!” Cozy said in amazement as well.
“Okay, well tonight’s the big night.” Fluttershy bravely told them.
“Yeah?” Everyone asked, wanting to know more.
“Okay listen, how are you gonna ask her?” Pinkie Pie asked curiously.
“It is going to be perfect. I am taking her to her favorite restaurant.” Fluttershy said about her plan. “I’m going to get her a bottle of the champagne that she really loves; therefore knows how expensive it is. Then when the glasses are full, instead of proposing a toast I’m just gonna propose.”
“Ohh…” Dr. Fauna started to say.
“That sounds perfect!” Rarity said in agreement.
“If You’re gonna mess it up, let us do it.” Applebloom said while her friends were grinning,
“I’m not gonna mess it up.” Fluttershy said in shock.
“If she says no, can I have the ring?” Rarity said.
“She’s not gonna say no.” Fluttershy told her seriously.
“If!” Rarity warned her.
“I won’t mess this up! I promise I’ll just propose to Twilight saying that I love her and that I want to marry her. Nothing more.” Fluttershy said as she got up and left to go get ready for her date.
Later that night at a restaurant, Fluttershy and Twilight arrived at their table with the kind one checking her makeup and Twilight was smiling at her sweetly. The kind Pegasus checked to see if she still had what she had. Sure enough, she did.
“What are you doing?” Twilight asked as she saw her lover patting her legs.
“One nation, under God. Indivisible with liberty and justice for all.” She said, covering up the fact that she was nervous. “I remembered it. The champagne is here.“ she said as the waiter brought out said drink and poured it into their glasses.
“Are you okay?” Twilight asked her lover because of how she saw her fretting and how nervous she was.
“Yes! Yes! I’m good!” Fluttershy said, covering it up. “Are you good? Are you good? Is everything—are you—are you perrr-perfect?!” She smiled.
“Yeah. I’m okay. I’m actually—I’m a little cold.” Twilight said as she started to shiver. “Can I huddle to you?”
“Oh, yeah.” Fluttershy said as she moved over to Twilight, putting her wing around her lovingly and holding her close to her. Twilight was confused by all this, but Fluttershy got it all handled. “But uh, other than that, are you okay? Are you okay?”
Twilight giggled nervously for a little bit. “Are you sure you’re okay?” she asked.
“Yes! I’m fine.” Fluttershy Said still nervous. “In fact I’ve been fine for a long time now and I think, the reason is you.” Twilight’s eyes widened in shock as she was suspecting what this was all about.
“Ohh that’s sweet!” Twilight said sweetly, still feeling a little suspicious about what was going on.
Fluttershy took in a deep breath and was ready to make her move. This was it! There was no turning back. “I thought that it mattered what I said or where I said it. Then I realized the only thing that matters is that you.” She said as she got out her black box. “You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you’ll let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way.” She opened the box to reveal a diamond ring.
Twilight saw it, and started to cry tears of joy as she saw how nice the ring was, AND that Fluttershy had worked her way up to this one moment. “Princess Twilight Sparkle, will you marry me?”
Twilight smiled widely and was tearing up happily as she was seeing her lover proposing to her. She loved her so much, and she wanted to show it. She took the ring and placed it on her horn. “Oh, Fluttershy!” She said, tears welling up. “I will!”
She hugged her lover in honour of this moment, because now they were an engaged couple and they were finally getting married together! This would be the best moment of their life as they would now begin as an engaged and soon-to-be married couple. Fluttershy smiled, knowing that her plan to propose to the princess of Friendship went without a hitch.
Discord awoke one Saturday morning earlier than usual, alone in his own dimension. He sighed, stroking his chaotic mess up mane. "So many restless nights, oh my Celestia…" He shrugged, smiling. The aging house had sheltered him all his days at his dimension, but in a matter of weeks, he would be saying farewell to his old home.
Suddenly a noise from outside had his ears pricked up as he snapped to Equestria prime. Someone was approaching to Ponyville. He glanced down in a reflex, as he saw who he thought he saw...2 regal mares. One white with a sea mane, the other Navy with a navy flowing mane. Discord knew who they were as he ran up to hug them!
"Tia! Lulu!" He jumped in excitement at the sight of the regal sisters. He had his arms around the two sisters in four film frames. "You have come back to moi!" His scent and hug began to build visibly.
"Oof!" Luna felt her breath squeezed from her body. "We missed you too."
"We wanted so much to see you, but We've had some royal duties." Celestia said, smiling sheepishly.
"I know." he said. “But, it is the weekend, time for the relaxation, no?" Discord's chaotic tail enwrapped Celestia and Luna, pulling them close to his chest, still warm from his night's rest.
"You really are pleased to see us." Luna said happily. "We just couldn't get away from Silver Shoals." Her tail swished in excitement.
"That place." the draconniqus's ears went down. "The only surprise is that you have not, bumped each other off by now."
"Well, there WAS that incident last year with the Swanifying Ceremony that we left Twilight, not knowing that we don't usuall do this by ourselves..." Celestia recalled.
The younger sister shivered. "One month more and we will be free of all that. After...have you ze plans?" She asked.
Discord smiled as he relaxed on the warm green grass, enjoying the feel of Celestia and Luna's tail wrapped around him. "Nothing that doesn't involve you." Hee kissed the White and navy alicorns lovingly.
The two sisters gave an almost feline purr, leaning happily into the kiss. Their heat increased.
Just at that moment came a hail from outside. "Discord? Anypony home?"
Discord glanced from behind. "Eh! We wait for ages then three come together. I've been alone four days and now Fluttershy and the gang come to visit?" He gave his lovers a quick smooch and greeted the gang. "Fluttershy! Twilight! Rainbow Dash! The instant party!"
Fluttershy grinned at the sight of the trio, and the scent hanging in the air. "You should have one of those redneck bumper stickers, Dissy – "If this date's a'rockin, don't come a knockin". It's your birthday next week, I know! “Shall we get you one?"
Discord blushed. "You have come to join my party?"
"Nah. We wouldn't all fit on that seat." Fluttershy cocked her head critically. "We're on the way to the Ponyville Mall; want to come along?"
"Oh, yes! I would!" Discord shouted in glee. "I have been putting my nose to the grindstone all week and living on my lowly dimension and tea parties. A little time to digest all that chaos will be fine. Eh, Girls?"
Celestia smiled. "Hanging out at a mall with my student and her friends? Canterlot ponies would say, 'that's SO beneath my dignity'. With you guys though, oh, yes!" Twenty minutes later the five ponies and one mismatched creature arrived at the Ponyville Mall, which was right NEXT to the Spa where Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack hang out.
"I feel chaotic royal vibes." She said to her friends... crass commercialization totally running wild. Ewwww..." Rainbow Dash joked, flicking her wing-fingers as if to throw mud off them.
"Sorry. That's from me." Discord said as he grinned. "There's a perfect dress in there somewhere and I want it! Greedy for that? Guilty, guilty, guilty! Wonderful bridal dress, you won't escape Discord the Hunter!" He spin-changed to an Indiana Jones outdoor outfit, except instead of a whip he had a string of charge cards he snapped.
"Are you not in ... the market, Twilight?" Rainbow asked as she raised an eyebrow.
The egghead sniffed." Well, yes, I could. Me and Fluttershy are getting married." She said happily as Rainbow Dash gasped in excitement."
As they walked into the great air-conditioned palace of purchasing, Rainbow Dash looked up at the distant roof. "I'm planning Applejack has a long engagement herself, with Big Mac. If it's all her life, I bet they're both all right with that." She said contently.
Just then the lift arrived and the friends stepped in. Twilight's eyes were wide as she read the directory screen. "Fifth floor - there's that new oriental bridal boutique, "Wedding peach." I've heard about that place." She could have spin-changed into any outfit she could imagine, but this was different. "It's just the place for me. When you think about it, I suppose I am peach & Purple-colored..."
Fortunately, the Japanese anime bridal wear franchise was quite used to mares with demanding tastes who insisted on trying out every style in the place.
"It's a good thing Cadence is not here," Fluttershy commented as her lover vanished into the changing-room for the twenty-third time.
"Why?" Discord asked. "Because it's bad luck for her to see her bride-to-be in her dress before the big day?" By now, he was staring dreamily at rows of display models - the "tail outside the dress" look was definitely back in, he noted with relief.
"Not only that...." Rainbow said to him. "But, by now, she would be so dazed at Rarity that she could appear in a 1977 retro-punk polythene bag dress and Cadence would nod if Twilight's sister-in-law asked if she liked it!" She fell on the floor, laughing uncontrollably.
Discord looked at the dresses through the display window and smiled. Suddenly he took a deep breath as he turned to his two lovers. He was ready to make his move. "Celestia, Luna. What color would a regal white alicorn and regal navy alicorn bride both look best in?" he asked.
The 2 sister's eyes went wide in a Wild Take that would have won bonus points in the lottery. They looked deep into Discord's eyes, feeling their hearts pounding. "Is this ... a proposal?" Luna asked in curiosity.
Discord kissed the two sisters on the cheek. "Yes. I don't care which of you wears the dress - or both." He got on one knee and got out a box and opened it to reveal a ring. "Princess Celestia & Princess Luna, will you marry me?"
"YES!" Luna & Celestia shouted in joy with the Royal Canterlot voice as she and her sister flung herself into Discord’s arms and hugged with a force that Raven Inkwell would have envied. "Oh, yes, yes, yes!" Giant heart shapes rose from the couple like bubbles from a bubble machine.
“Whoa!" Twilight said as she stepped out of the changing room, now back in her usual clotheless body. Her ears went right up at the sight. "Did I ... miss something?"
“It's a totally harmonious meeting of minds, and the rest." Fluttershy nodded approvingly. "So, are you going to like name the big day? If you want, I can check when the stars are favourable."
The two sisters blinked, still held tight in Discord’s arms. "After we get ready for our engagement," Luna gasped, struggling for breath.
"Apart from that, my sister and I will let you know." Celestia gasped as well.
Rainbow Dash clapped her hooves together delightedly. "Another wedding maybe? While everypony’s still here? That'd be so great." She turned to the draconniqus. “They said yes, didn’t they?” He nodded, making the wonderbolt say “Ohmygosh!” A myriad of times!
Twilight grinned. "If you make it a week or so after Fluttershy and I, we'd love to be there.” She said sneakily. “Before that, we'll be on our honeymoon. With "Do Not Disturb" signs on the door. Big, glow-in-the dark signs."
“We'll let you know." Discord said as he kissed his regal fiancées again. Suddenly his ears went up. "It's a good thing we're at the Mall already... is there a good place here for engagement rings?"
Lunchtime saw the ponies having made a "definite maybe" decision on a white lace and taffeta bridal gown with a veil held up on an almost medieval styled wimple to clear their ears.
“I can't believe you three chose rings in forty minutes flat!" Twilight said in shock as she realized she forgot her salad for a minute to stare blissfully at the matching plain silver engagement rings Celestia, Luna and Discord wore as they walked hoof in hand towards the food court. "Everypony will think it's a shotgun wedding!"
The two royal sisters giggled. "Less is more, as they say.” Celestia said to them. “
I agree with my sister.” Luna chimed in. “It is the partners who count more than a whole Ponyville Bridal wear catalogue."
Discord pressed his coffee-bean nose to Celestia and Luna’s broad white and navy muzzles. He squeezed the white furred hoof and the navy furred hoof in his own tanish yellow-furred lion paw. "A shotgun wedding? That sounds all right to me. Which one of us has the, umm, little surprise on the way ... and how do we manage it?"
“We will try," Celestia said firmly, but lovingly to her lover. "We are immortals, Discord. Its impossible that it’s just a few preparations away."
As the ponies left, Rainbow and Fluttershy found Applejack as she was coming out of her barn and decided to tell her the big news. “Discord did it, AJ!” Rainbow said in excitement as Applejack gasped in amazement. “Hook, line and sinker!” Now, their wedding was going to be prepared and a little chaos and royal planning goes a long way.
At Twilight’s castle, Applejack was feeling a little obsessive about opening some presents for Twilight and Fluttershy’s upcoming wedding and she was just on the verge of opening another present when Pinkie and Zecora both came in. Well, actually, Pinkie was the first to enter as Applejack froze and felt a little guilty as she was caught trying to open some presents.
“Ooh-ooh-ooh!” Pinkie said in excitement. “Are we opening presents?” Just then, she looked at Applejack. “Are you opening Twilight and Fluttershy’s gifts early?”
“No!” Applejack quickly lied. “No! I shouldn’t have even opened these! I mean I—Pinkie, I am out of control!!” She was on a panic attack as she wanted to know what the wedding presents are and their best friend’s wedding was coming up soon! She slapped herself, telling her she had to get ahold of herself. “Pinkie Pie, you have to do me a favor. No matter what I say, no matter what I do, please do not let me open another present! Okay?” She asked with worry brewing up in her voice.
Pinkie sighed, knowing she could trust her farm friend and that she was the most honest pony she met. “Okay.” she said in relief and rolled her eyes knowing that Applejack was just being...well, Applejack.
“Give me one more.” The farm mare said, unable to control herself.
“Okay.” Pinkie said, but then stopped herself. “No! I must not do it! No matter what you say and no matter what you do, I will not give you one!” Applejack’s ears just flopped down in disappointment.
“Hello, my little Ponies.” Zecora said as she entered in the castle to see her friends.
Pinkie sighed with relief that her lover was here because now, she had to get herself ready for this one moment. “Oh good, uh you’re here.” She said, giggling nervously and smiling. “Uh Zecora? Listen uh, sit down. I-I got something I want to say.”
“All right. It’s a delight.” The zebra rhymed as she sat down on Twilight’s throne to face Pinkie, waiting for what she had to say.
Pinkie knelt on one knee as she got out a tiny black box that was somehow part of the wedding presents for Twilight and Fluttershy. “Umm, now uh… It’s a scary world out there, especially for a single wife.” She said. “Y’know, now I always thought you and I had a special bond so…” she opened the box and revealed a diamond ring which shimmered in the light. This was it for her. There was no turning back. “Zecora, will you marry me?” She asked, smiling lovingly.
Zecora’s eyes widened as she smiled like never before. Her face lit up like a Christmas tree as she hugged her lover. “I will marry you, my Chickaboo!” She said happily.
Applejack’s eyes widened as she now knew why Pinkie got a black box that was somehow one of the wedding presents. “Oh my God!” she said in shock and amazement. “Pinkie!”
“I can and will marry you, Ms. Pinkie Pie!” Zecora whispered to her sweetly as she took the ring and put it on her.
Applejack was amazed that Pinkie had planned this proposal for some time. She walked up to her. “Wow! I didn’t know y’all rehearsed that speech, Pinkie!” She said. “You must really love her.”
“I do, Applejack.” Pinkie said contently. “I really do.”
“We’ll send you an invite to our wedding!” Zecora said happily as she and Pinkie skipped to my Lou outside the castle and onto the green grass.
Meanwhile, Applejack was shocked and excited that Pinkie Pie had proposed to Zecora! Only now, did that mean that she had to prepare to propose to her special somepony. “Well, I better get ready!” She said. “This speech won’t start itself.” She scurried about in the castle to search for her wedding ring.
Applejack managed to find her ring and quickly secured it in a box and left the castle to find Big Mac. She arrived at Sweet Apple Acres just in time to see her brother about to leave for a date with Sugar Belle.
She managed to stop him as soon as she got there. “Big Mac!” She shouted. “Wait!” She stopped RIGHT in the middle of the couple. “I have something to say to you...alone!”
Sugar Belle looked a little surprised at her date’s brother having arrived at such a time like this. “Uh, Sugar Belle?” Applejack asked. “Could I talk to him for a minute before y’all go on your date?”
She smiled. “Sure!” She told her. “Just don’t take too long.”
“Okay!” Applejack said, as she literally dragged her brother in the barn, upstairs to her room. Big Mac was confused by all this, but all would be made clear in a matter of minutes. “Hey!” she told her brother.
“I’m about to go on my date with Sugar Belle.” Big Mac said, starting to feel a little worried. “I left some knickers under your pillow.” He grinned sheepishly.
Applejack laughed as she smiled at her brother. “I love you.” She told him. “Stay with me.”
“What?!” her brother replied in absolute shock.
“Don’t be scared.” She reassured him. “I-I know it sounds crazy and-and the others will say it’s too soon, but just-just think, think how great it will be.” She smiled with delight with the stallion she was in love with.
“Ohh, no.” Big Mac said, unsure of this. “Ugh. Oh, leaving Our Town? Sugar Belle and her friends live there.”
“I know.” She said calmly.
“I help her with her baked goods!” The strong apple stallion pointed out.
“Well, so, you-you’ll get a mare here!” She said, trying to calm him down. “I mean, I’m always hearing about uh, them foreigners coming in here and stealing ponyvillian jobs. That could be you!” she joked.
“Yeah, but it-it-it’s my whole life.” He told her. “You could move to Our Town.”
“No, I can’t.” Applejack told him almost worried. “ I mean I would, I really would, but the Cutie Mark Crusaders are here. I can’t leave those little fillies. Isn’t—you don’t think there’s any way?”
“Ohh, I don’t think so.” Big Mac told her. “I mean it would be different if it was way into the future –and-and-and we were getting married or something.”
Applejack’s ears suddenly perked up as she knew what that meant and that she was ready to make her move. “What?” she asked with a smile on her face.
Big Mac realized what he said and tried to take it back. “Oh no, no, right I shouldn’t have said married.” He started to nervously protest. “Uh, please don’t go freaky on me. I didn’t mean it. Well, I didn’t say it. I take it back!”
“No, no, don’t.” Applejack said as she happily grabbed her brother’s arms in hers. “Why don’t we?”
“Why don’t we what?” Big Mac asked confused.
“Get married.” Applejack finished.
Big Mac was shocked as his idea was now getting to Applejack’s head and she was suggesting this as well. “You are insane!” He said in surprise.
“No! No! I’m not! It’s-it’s-it’s perfect!” She said excitedly, wanting this to happen. “I mean it’s better than you just-just moving here, ‘cause it’s us together forever, and that’s-that’s what I want.”
“You and I are brother and sister!” Her brother pointed out.
“Yeah, I know, so what? I mean, who’s-who’s to say? Does that me we-we can’t do it?” She asked both nervous and excited. “Look, huh, I was with Trenderhoof for the Ponyville days festival and I wound up going as Applejewel to compete against Rarity. I mean, this, this makes sense for us. Come on! I mean, on our first date we ended up spending the whole weekend in bed after I had sex with ya in Canterlot! This feels right. Doesn’t it?”
“Sugar Belle’s friends are going to be really excited.” He said, submitting into the farm mare’s proposal.
Applejack’s ears flickered as she couldn’t believe what her brother was saying. She was so excited, she wanted to burst a blood vessel. “Is that—are you saying yes?” She asked in awe. “Is that a yes?”
“Eeyup!” Big Mac said as he and his sister hugged and kissed in excitement. “Eeyup!”
“Yes! We’re getting married?!” Applejack asked in shock, wondering if this was all a dream.
“Oh my Celestia!” Big Mac said in excitement.
“Yes!” Applejack exclaimed in excitement as she now knew that this wasn’t a dream. Her prediction to get married to him was confirmed.
“We’re getting married!” Big Mac said in shock and excitement.
“Come here, come here.” Applejack said as she quickly got out her little black box and opened it, revealing a diamond ring in it. “Big Mac, will you marry me?” She asked him.
“Yes.” he said in excitement, accepting his sister’s proposal. Applejack tried to put the ring on his big hoof, but it appeared that the size of the ring was a little too small. “Ohh, it’s a bit small.” he said, worried but excited.
“Damn!” Applejack said in frustration and excitement at the same time. “I thought that was going to be romantic as hell!”
“It was” her brother said as the two apples both kissed, and hugged pretty tightly as they embraced this one moment. Applejack was so happy and her dream was finally realized! She was going to marry her brother!
As Princess Cadence was heading for Twilight’s Castle of Friendship, she managed to meet up with her sister-in-law. Twilight was shocked upon seeing her sister like this. She stopped him to find out what’s going on.
“Cadence!” Twilight said in complete shock.
“I can’t talk to you now.” Cadence said, out of breath. “I gotta find Rarity!”
Twilight’s ears flopped. “She’s gone.” she said sadly.
“What?” Cadence asked shocked.
“She’s gone. She had a bag and she left.” Twilight told her.
“What are you talking about?” Cadence asked confused and shocked at the same time.
“She was all crying, and that and that she needed time to think.” Twilight said, starting to tear up.
“Well, why didn’t you stop her?!” Cadence asked, shock rising in her voice.
“I-I did!” Twilight tried to tell her. “But, she wouldn’t believe me.”
“Well, where… Where did she go?” She asked with sadness starting to brew up in her voice.
“To her parent’s.” Twilight said disappointd. “I think and she said you shouldn’t call her. But if I were you, I would.”
Cadence was completely sad right now, because she felt like her plan was all for naught. “I can’t believe I ruined this.” She said, starting to cry.
“I am so sorry, Cadence.” Twilight said, as she tried to comfort her. But, she just went right into her castle, nit wanting to hear a word of anything she said. She walked dejectedly into the castle and into her sister-in-law’s bedroom and saw hundreds of candles lit and Rarity was inside.
“You wanted it to be a surprise.” Rarity said, calmly and sweetly. Cadence turned to look at Twilight, who was smiling shyly as she closed the door to her room.
“Oh my God.” Cadence felt like she was ready to cry as Rarity knelt on one knee.
“Princess Cadence...In all my life… I never thought I would be so lucky.” Rarity said as she started to cry. “As to…fall in love with my best…my best… There’s a reason why girls don’t do this!”
“Okay!” Cadence said as she joined her on one knee as well. “Okay! Okay! Oh God, I thought…” she was starting to cry, but then she stopped herself. “Wait a minute, I-I can do this.” She was finally ready to make her move. “I thought that it mattered what I said or where I said it. Then I realized the only thing that matters is that you. You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you’ll let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way.” She got out a black box and opened it to reveal a diamond ring. Rarity gasped in shock and excitement at the same time as she knew what her lover was about to say next. “Rarity, will you marry me?”
Rarity smiled like she never had before as she took the ring and put in on her horn. “Yes.” She said as she and lover shared the most passionate kiss anyone has ever seen.
“I knew you were likely to take a wife!” she said, sweetly as they embraced this moment...this time, as a married couple!
Just then, they heard Twilight knocking on the door. “Can we come in yet?! We’re dying out here!”
“Come in! Come in!” Cadence said excitedly as the others came in. “We’re engaged!!!”
Everyone screamed for joy as they all went into a group hug. “Oh, this is huge!” Twilight said in excitement. “One of my best friends is marrying my sister-in-law!”
“And, I just set up a little guest list on who should come!” Rainbow said as she showed the list of guest that were coming.
“Who is coming, Rainbow?” Twilight asked quizzically.
“Well, according to the list Pinkie sent me...” Rainbow said. “The ones who are coming are...our families, the Cakes, our students, Cranky Doodle, Matilda, the Canterlot Castle staff, the rulers from the other nations, the wonderbolts, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, the Equaltown Ponies, Trixie, Sunburst and also, Cozy Glow!”
Everyone was shocked as Rainbow had read the list of everyone that was coming to the wedding. “Wow!” Twilight said in shock. “All of our friends and family are coming?! That’s huge! How will we manage all this for the wedding??”
“Don’t worry, Twilight.” Cadence told her. “This castle’s enough to hold SIX weddings, and I know JUST the place to have it!”
“Then, let’s get the invitations ready!” Rainbow said. “These cards won’t send themselves.” And they all got ready for the invitations to send to all of their friends and families.
Everyone was excited that Rarity had proposed to Cadence...well, actually, it was Cadence that proposed to Twilight. But, now they were going to have the most amazing wedding for SIX couples! And all of their friends and family were coming and they were ready to send out of the invitations. It was a big step, but it would be an important one, as they were about to have the most biggest SIX time wedding that Equesria and beyond would have ever seen.
At the School of Friendship, the young six were just about to get ready for the day learning about friendship problems and how it works. Later right in the middle of class, Smolder noticed a small, yellow envelope fall out of her desk. She picked it up and saw that it had a royal stamp on it. She stuffed the note back in the desk until class was over.
Later, she met up with the rest of the young six in the library, where they spent most of their time together. Silverstream waved at her. “Hi, Smolder!” She piped up. “Got anything fun to tell us?”
“Hey, Silverstream.” Smolder said to her hippogriff friend. “Actually, I do.” She got out her note from her desk from earlier. “I just got this royal stamped letter in my desk.”
“Whoa!” Silverstream said in awe. “That IS cool. Wonder what’s in it?” She started to open it, but Smolder batted her hand away.
“I’ll open it.” She said and tore the envelope open. She took the note out and read it, and she was pretty shocked at what she saw. “Oh my gosh! Take a look at this!” She passed the note over to Silverstream, then Gallus, then Ocellus, then, Yona, and then Sandbar.
“The ice cream festival is held here in Canterlot...” he started to read.
“You’re holding that upside down.” Smolder said, turning the letter right side up.
“Thanks.” Sandbar said, and read the letter. When he did, he was completely shocked at what he just saw inside the letter. “What?! Headmare Twilight’s getting married?! To professor Fluttershy?!?!”
“I know!” Smolder said in shock. “Can you believe it?!”
“Headmare Twilight’s marrying one of our professors?!” Gallus asked in complete shock. “This is huge!”
“I for one am a little shocked.” Ocellus said calmly. “I always knew they were best friends, but I never knew that they loved each other.”
“Yona shocked too!” Yona said in astonishment. “Yak never knew headmare had crush on kind pony.”
“I’m surprised that headmare Twilight is marrying professor Fluttershy.” Silverstream said in agreement. “Come to think of it...I got a similar note in my desk about this!”
“Me too!” The other students said in agreement.
“And, we’re all invited.” Smolder said, looking at the letter. “You guys ready to go to your first best friend’s wedding?”
“Well, they’re our ONLY best friends so far.” Gallus said. “I think we should go for the sake of it.”
“I agree.” Sandbar said as well. “I never knew Twilight and Fluttershy were in love. This could be my first wedding I go to!”
“I’ll go too!” Silverstream said excited.
“And, I’ll go too!” Ocellus said as well. “I’d love to see my first wedding.”
“Yona go too!” The y’all said excitedly. “But do we need Dress for wedding?!”
“Well, the girls need dresses. The boys need jacket suits.” Smolder told them.
“Yona gonna have hard time at first wedding!” The yak said in shock and worry.
“Don’t worry, Yona!” Sandbar said, comforting her. “I’ll help you out for a dress.”
“Yeah!” Gallus said. “And in the meantime, I can pick out a nice suit for you and I to wear for the wedding!”
“Totally!” Sandbar said In agreement. “Hey, Smolder! When’s the wedding at?”
“The wedding’s at next week!” Smolder told them. “That means we have 5 or so days to get ready for the wedding! Okay?”
“Okay!” The others said. “Good!” Smolder said. “Let’s look up some books about how we can understand weddings!” The students scurried about, looking for books to find about weddings and getting ready to find the appropriate clothes for the big day.
Meanwhile at the club house, the CMCs with Babs seed and Gabby were excited that they got their invitations to go their friends’ weddings. “I can't believe we're goin' to our friend’s weddings!” Applebloom said in excitement.
“Special rehearsal dinner, flower girl preparations...” Sweetie Belle added.
“Speaking of rehearsal dinner, did you pack snacks for the train?” Scootaloo asked her friends.
“For there and back.” Applebloom said, after checking that they had snacks inside their knapsacks.
“And our train tickets are all set.” Babs seed said getting them out. “I can’t believe you and Sweetie Belle’s sisters are getting married. It’s a pretty big step for such a big occasion.”
“Uh Huh!” Applebloom nodded. “And I've got our whole itinerary planned!” she got out a list of all the stuff they were going to do.
“Are you sure you're not Twilight's sister?” Gabby asked them, making the others laugh. “I can’t believe this is actually happening! Your sisters getting married!” She gave them all a bear hug.
“Ahem.” Scootaloo said, getting the griffin’s attention. “Rainbow’s not getting married.”
“Oh.” She said, blushing and turning to laughter. “Whoops.”
“Weeks of planning has all come down to this.” Applebloom said while the others nodded. “All we have to do now is wait for our chaperone to get us when the train comes.”
“All right!” The others said as they got ready for their chaperone to get them. No one came yet. “So when's Rainbow Dash comin'?” Scootaloo asked.
“I thought you were gonna ask Sugar Belle.” Babs seed asked confused.
“I don't suppose you asked Pinkie Pie?” Sweetie Belle asked confused.
Just then, Cozy came in to greet her friends. “Golly, hi everyone!” She said, feeling a little more chipper. “I got the invitation too and we’re all set. Though, the wedding’s not till next week. Did anyone else know that?”
Everyone else went a little shocked. “You mean we spent all this time planning a trip, and none of us realized that the wedding was next week?!” Sweetie Belle asked in complete shock to the others.
“In our defense, every other part of the trip was planned really well.” Scootaloo said, which made Cozy buck the board down in frustration that they didn’t realize that they got ready a little early.
“Well, at least we have till next week to get ready to leave.” Sweetie Belle said. “Let’s get ready to prepare for next week.” The others nodded as they went to Applejack’s barn and got ready to go over the preparations for the wedding...for the 200th time.
Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres, Granny Smith was halfway done with their complete breakfast of pancakes, with a few glasses of apple cider. "That's funny," said Granny Smith, gulping down one bite of pancake from her plate. "Ah haven't seen or heard a peep out of Apple Bloom all day! She never misses pancake morning, where could she be?"
“Right here, Granny!” Applebloom said, rushing in excitedly. “And, take a look at this!” She showed her a invite with a royal stamp on it. As soon as Granny Smith read it, she was excited.
“Well, color me pleased as punch!” She howled in excitement. “I can’t believe Applejack’s finally getting married! So, tell me...who’s the lucky stallion?”
“That’s funny y’all should ask.” Applebloom said, blushing. “Because my sister is marrying my brother...a little bird told me.”
Granny spat out her cider and was shocked. “What? Hold on...Applejack’s marrying her own brother?” She asked.
“Eeyup.” She said. “AJ and Big Mac have been dating for quite some time now, and they decided that now’s the time to show their love for each other.”
Just then, Goldie Delicious, Apple Rose and Apple Sauce all came in the room. “What is going on in here?” Apple Rose asked. “It sounds like something good!”
“It is!” Applebloom announced. “Applejack and Big Mac are gettin’ married!”
The Golden Horseshoe Gals were all shocked by this news. “They are?” Apple Sauce asked. “I didn’t know they had that loving feeling about them.”
“But what about all the "finding-the-flaws" stuff they’ve been doing?” Goldie Delicious asked curiously.
“Yeah, that didn't work.” Applebloom admitted.
“But, Applebloom!” Granny Smith started to object in shock. “Big Mac loves Sugar Belle!”
“Yeah, I know, I know, I know he does.” The farm filly told her. “But Sugar Belle has to tell him how she feels! He deserves to have all the information and then he can make an informed decision.”
“That's not why she’s going!” Apple Sauce said. “She’s going because you hope she's gonna say, "Yeah, I love you too, Sugar Belle. Forget that chippy."
“Ohh-Do you think she will?!” Applebloom asked excitedly.
“No! Because he's in love with your sister!” Granny Smith started to object in shock. “Look, Applebloom, if she goes, you're just gonna mess with her head and ruin his wedding! Y'know, it's too late! You missed you're chance! I'm sorry, I know this must be really hard, it's over.“
Just then, Applejack came in as the Golden Horseshoe Gals turned to her. “Is this true?” Apple Rose asked. “You’re in love with Big Macintosh?”
Applejack blushed sweetly. “Yes. I do.” She said.
They all gasped in excitement. “Why, Applejack!” Apple Sauce said. “I can’t believe you have your very first crush! And it’s with your brother!”
“That must be really something to fall for somepony as strong and handsome as he is!” Goldie Delicious agreed.
“Yeah!” The farm mare said. “It must be.”
“And, Lookie what we got here!” Apple Rose said in excitement as she got out a stack of golden royal stamped envelopes!
“We got tickets to go to your wedding, Applejack!” Goldie said.
“Oh my gosh!” The farm mare said, blushing happily! “This is going to be the mist happiest day of my life!”
“And, Princess Twilight and all her friends will be there!” Apple Sauce said. “We gotta go!”
“Now, hold your cabooses one fiddle fangle minute!” Granny Smith stopped her. ”Big Mac loves Sugar Belle. I don’t know if it is over, but It might be over.”
Applejack started to speak. “Uh...” but Applebloom did the talking for her. “Y'know what, Granny? No. It's not over until someone says, "I do." She and her sister left to go to Twilight’s Castle to get ready for this Occasion. ”Come on, AJ!” She said, as she and her big sister left.
“I do! I do! I do!” Granny Smith said, chasing after them. “I do!” But, Applejack and her sister were long gone.
“Ugh, like we can really chase her.” Goldie said to her friends. “We gotta get ready for the wedding!” They all got ready to prepare for the big occasion. Granny Smith gave up and literally decided to help.
The mane six’s friends and families all got the invites and we’re pretty excited and shocked as well as they got their items packed to get ready for the wedding! Sure, this wedding was big, but it would be a six time wedding for Twilight and her friends that nopony and no creature would forget!
The Mane Six’s friends and family all got the word that the following weddings were happening: Twilight to Fluttershy, Celestia & Luna to Discord, Applejack to Big Macintosh, Pinkie Pie to Zecora, and Rarity to Cadence. They all started packing their things, getting ready for the big day.
Finally, the big day to leave for the Crystal Empire had come and everyone was all getting their last-minute preparations for the big occasion. At the School of Friendship, the Young Six were finishing up packing for the day. “Guys, hurry up!” Smolder told her friends. “The train leaves in four hours! It could take time to get a taxi! There could be traffic! The train could leave early! When we get to the Crystal Empire, there could be a line at customs! Come on!!“ the young six were peckishly getting ready for leaving for the Empire.
“A train ride to The Crystal Empire.” Gallus said as he and Sandbar were packing, “That's a lot of Twilight.”
“What do you got there?” Sandbar asked, looking at the weird box in the griffin’s luggage.
“Condoms, dude!” Gallus said, getting out the box and showing it to him.
Sandbar read them and was confused as to what they were saying as he asked. “How come the writing is in Spanish?”
“Hey!” Gallus said as he put the box back in his luggage. “Don't read my condoms!”
Meanwhile, the CMCs, Babs Seed, Cozy Glow & Gabby were all getting ready as well with Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle putting things in their baggage, as the other three watch.
“Passport, check!” Applebloom said as she put it in the baggage.
“Camera, check!” Scootaloo said.
“Traveller's cheques, check!” Sweetie Belle said, as they out their stuff in the baggage.
“Who are you saying "check" too?” Babs Seed asked, unsure as to why they were saying Check!
“Ourselves.” Applebloom told Her. “Y'know for remembering to pack a thing.”
“Yeah, you do a good thing, you get a check!” Scootaloo agreed.
“Rarity does it, I never realised it was weird.” Sweetie Belle pointed out.
“Yeah, Cousin Applejack used to put her head in the oven.” Babs Seed said jokingly. “Well, actually, she only did it the one time. But it was pretty weird.” She giggled and blushed.
At that moment, Applejack came in to greet them. “Hey!” she said excitedly.
“Hey!” The CMCs replied excitedly back.
“Are you ready yet?” Applejack asked them.
“Yep!” Cozy said as she checked and patted the places where they had their items. Sure enough, they were still there. “You got the tickets?”
“Oh! Got 'em right here.” She said as she patted her saddle bag. “Check!”
Meanwhile at Wonderbolt HQ, Spitfire and her crew were getting ready for the big occasion. They had got the word that their friends were getting married and had spent all that time preparing some aerial flight formations for the day. On the big day, they were starting to pack in their items before the train left.
“It's all Wedding, Clipper!” Spitfire said in excitement as the other wonderbolts were packing. She got out a camera and took a picture of an unenthusiastic Soarin’. “Here we go.”
“You got your passport?” Soarin’ asked her.
“Yeah, in my third drawer on my dresser.” Spitfire said as she started to leave HQ. “You don't want to lose that.” Soarin gave the captain a look. At first Spitfire didn’t know why...but in a matter of seconds, she realized. “Oh!” She went back to get her passport.
“There it is.” “Clipper” said smiling, ready for the big day and happy that he got to remind the captain before they left without her passport.
Back to the Student Six...
“Okay, if anybody needs the vacuum, it's in my dorm closet on the left-hand side.” Silverstream told them.
“Ah, the garbage bags are next to the refrigerator...” Smolder said, pointing to them.
“Okay, okay, but Neighsay’s gonna be here too, can't I just ask him this stuff?” Ocellus asked in confusion.
“Yeah, okay, give that a try!” Silverstream said, giving in to that remark.
“All right! Let's do it!” Sandbar said in excitement as he and Gallus were leaving the school to head to the train station.
“Woo-hoo!! Crystal Empire baby!“ Gallus said in pure excitement.
“Okay, 'cause that's not gonna get annoying.” Sandbar said, only for the latter to say it again, but louder. “Hey, y'know what? I was wrong.”
“Yeah, cheerie-o!” Gallus said, as he and the others met up with all their friends at the train station.
“Well, we're all here!” Gabby said in excitement. “I guess we should get going!”
“Ohhh, I wanna come over there and give you a hug and wish you luck on your wedding!” Babs said in excitement.
“Well, you can!” Applejack told them.
“Ok. I'll-I'll come hug you.” Babs said as she hugged her cousin and some of the students.
“Great!” Rainbow Dash said in excitement, knowing that the big date. “Yeah, could you bring me the newspaper?” Rarity did so and Rainbow tossed to see an exclusive section of the empire. “Oh, we’re gonna have a great wedding!”
“Oh, hey, Fluttershy I wanna hug you too!” Twilight said as they started to board the train.
“Hey!” Fluttershy said as she trotted over to her lover, hugging her.
“So, we're off.” Pinkie Pie said to her lover, who was smiling as well.
“We will have fun!” Zecora said in agreement.
“All right, y'know what?” Smolder said to them. “I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but We really are going to be late if we don’t hurry up! Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!!” She clapped her hands, as the lovers, their friends, and the young six all got in the train to the Crystal Empire.
“Here you go, Guys!” Starlight Glimmer said in excitement as she handed them a few items as they boarded the train.
“All right, let's go!!” Rainbow said as the train left the Ponyville station.
“Crystal Empire, BABY!” Gallus said in one of the cars, catching the others off guard.
“Oh, do you need a hug?” Smolder asked her friends, thinking they were a little nervous. “You don't have to bring me anything!” The others were a little uneasy about all this she was offering.
And with that, Equestrian wedding history is made as, for the first time ever, the Mane six, and their friends move to an entirely different country to make a single six time wedding. As they all arrived at the station, they ooohed and ahhed as they got off the train in excitement, ready for the big day to happen!
As Gallus and Sandbar got off, they were starting to explore the Empire with the griffin videotaping his friend’s reactions with the latter not wanting to be taped. “Come on!” Gallus said in excitement, while taping his friend. “Do something!”
“I am, I'm ignoring you.” Sandbar said, not wanting to be part of a documentary.
“Okay, here!” Gallus handed him the camera. “I wanna be the on camera griffin. All right, first stop, Cadence’s relaxing spa!” He got out his pop up map and the landmarks popped up like a pop up book would.
“Oh, what the hell is that?” Sandbar asked.
“It's The Crystal Empire, baby!” Gallus said as he pointed to all the locations that the Mane six had been on. “All right, the Crystal Hotel where Rainbow Dash and her friends stayed is here. Wait. No, we wanna go... No. I know.” He set the map down on the ground. “I'm gonna have to go into the map.” He walked “right into the map” to find out where they want to go.
“Okay, if you see a little version of me in there? Kill it!” his pony friend said sarcastically.
“I got it!” Gallus said as he picked up the map. “Here we go.” as he started to walk to the castle.
“Okay.” Sandbar told him. “Listen-listen, we're not gonna have to walk this way the entire time are we?”
“Shhh!” He shushed him and them realized he lost the location. “Man, you made me lose it!” he went into the map again.
Meanwhile, Gabby, Twilight, Fluttershy, Starlight Glimmer and the CMCs were heading to the castle, where Twilight and Fluttershy...later, the rest of the lover pairings were soon to be wed. “...and that was all before 10 o'clock.” Twilight said. “The caterer rang and said it was going to be Chicken Kiev instead of Chicken Tarragon.” She was already on her twilighting stage. And then the florist phoned to say there aren't any tulips. Oh, and the chilliest has carpel-tunel syndrome. We're not gonna be...”
“Whoa-whoa-whoa! Twilight!” Starlight reassured her. “honey, okay?” She made a “time-out” sign with her magic to calm the teacher down.
“Well, up yours too!” Twilight joked.
“What?!” Starlight asked in shock.
“Oh, that's not what it means?” Twilight asked her.
“Sweetie, you gotta relax.” Fluttershy said to calm her lover down. “Everything's gonna be great, okay? Come on. Come on.”
“Chicken Kiev?” Gabby asked. “Are they killing birds for that?” She started to gag.
“Um-hmm!” Applebloom said. “NOT! Doesn't that sound delicious at the last minute?”
“Yeah, y'know, but something like salmon which would be so much more elegant than the chicken.” Scootaloo said. “And, you wouldn't have to worry about the salmonella.” She got playfully pushed by Sweetie Belle. “But of course with salmon you'd have to worry about the chickenella...”
“So, I can't wait to see this place you're getting married!” Sweetie Belle said in excitement.
“Yeah. Yeah. Yes, this place is beautiful.” Twilight said to them. “My brother and sister in law rule here.”
“I still can't believe it’s actually happening.” Cozy Glow said in excitement.
“Yeah!” Sweetie Belle agreed. “It really is the most lovely building you'll ever see. I mean it's over...” Just then, they all noticed that the castle was about to be closed for a special event which was soon to be Twilight’s event, along with Discord’s, Pinkie’s, AJ’s & Rarity’s in the house that Jack built. Blah blah blah blah blah! :)
They all saw that it was closed for the guard. “Oh my God!” Sweetie Belle wailed in shock.
“Wow!” Babs Seed said as she saw the castle. “This is where Twilight’s getting married? It's nice.“ They all ran toward the building only to be stopped by the guard.
“Nuh Uh. Sorry, ma’am.” The guard said to them. “The Princess will be here.” And he shut the dorm in all of their faces.
“Oh. Oh my God.” Fluttershy said in shock. “The guard won’t let us in! How can this be happening?”
“What are we going to do?” The CMCs all asked in unison.
“It's all right!” Twilight said, trying to calm everyone down. “Everything's gonna be all right.”
“How's it gonna be all right?!” Gabby asked panicked.
“Uh-huh, I see that.” Twilight said in realization, not sure if she would be able to fix this for everyone.
Just then, Starlight came rushing back to the ponies with an exciting announcement. “Okay, I talked to Sunburst, and I found out what will happen.”
“What? What?” Everyone asked.
“Rainbow Dash is going to be the reverend.” She said with happiness in her voice. The others exchanged looks of shock and confusion. They were not expecting this news, and they weren’t sure about how their awesome Pegasus wonderbolt friend would handle this news and also more importantly, how she would do well.
“You want me to be reverend?!” Rainbow Dash asked in shock at the recent news Starlight Glimmer’s friend, Sunburst was giving her.
“You're the perfect choice!” Sunburst said excitedly. “You're a good friend to Twilight and an expert in loyalty. I trust that you can help host a six time wedding at the Crystal Castle.”
“Uh, that's a pretty big responsibility, Sunburst.” Rainbow said nervously to him.
“Which is why I've prepared everything you need.” He continued to say happily to her. “The location of planning, rules for the Wedding etiquette, dining hall menus for the six weddings...”
“Six weddings?!” Rainbow asked, getting more stressed by the minute. “Okay, I don't mean to sound ungrateful. It's just when you said you wanted my help with something important, I thought you meant something important.“
“This six time wedding is important.” Sunburst pointed out. “Maybe, this will be a good opportunity for you to find out how great your friends’ weddings will be!”
“Of course I've seen weddings before like Cadence and Shining Armor’s, Cranky and Matilda’s...” she said. “but I'm not even a hundred percent sure how I’ll do. I'll probably just mess it up.”
“I think you might be surprised. In fact, I'm more sure than ever that you're the perfect choice.” Sunburst said, feeling confident that Rainbow had this.
“Awesome?” Rainbow said curiously and nervously at the same time.
“And, I’ve got something better for you to work with!” Sunburst continued. “It’s like a special workshop with other ponies. To... take your performance from good to flawless.”
“Well, OBVIOUSLY!” She said as she hugged Sunburst. “Thanks, Sunburst! This is what I always knew rehearsing must be about: that special stage pony bond of shared trust and honesty.”
The doors opened to reveal two actors who not only knew what they were helping her with, but were also trained professionals! “Rainbow Dash...” Sunburst announced. “Meet performers On Stage and Raspberry Beret!”
“Avec pleasure, your Awesomeness!” On Stage introduced himself excitedly before the wonderbolt.
“The pleasure is all mine!” Rainbow said to him. “If there's anything I can do to become the perfect wedding reverend, I will! What do you have planned?”
“I thought we'd make it up as we go along.” On Stage chuckled. “Otherwise known as improvisation!”
“Yes, and we can start as soon as we get out of this box.” Raspberry Beret agreed.
“Okay.” She said nervously. “Let’s get this show on the road!”
Sunburst smiled as he had confidence that Rainbow Dash would do well as a reverend and not screw this up! Later when he came back, he was excited to see her perform with the actors to help her with her performance, and its was going well and perhaps, even better!
On Stage and Raspberry Beret were helping her performance get better. “Let's try visualization! And...We are gathered here today...” On Stage started.
“...to witness the beautiful wedding of...” Raspberry Beret finished.
“...Princess Twilight Sparkle alongside her teachers, Princesses Celestia and Luna, her Crystal loveliness...Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, Zecora and Big Macintosh to Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkamena Diane Pie, The Lord of Chaos...Discord, and Lady Rarity to join together in holy matrimony!” Rainbow Dash finished what the two actors said. The actors and Sunburst were astonished! They had never seen her rehearse such an important speech like this before and by the looks of it, they were wowed.
“That was magnificent!” On Stage said proudly as he clapped his hooves. “Bravo!”
“Yes! Bravo!” Raspberry Beret agreed with her assistant. “You did great, Rainbow Dash! Only next time, please say ‘Her Royal Highnesses’.”
“Whoops.” Rainbow said as she blushed a little bit. “Sorry.”
“That was the best performing I’ve ever seen you do!” Sunburst said as he walked up to her. “How did you do that?”
“It wasn’t easy.” Rainbow started. “But, when you get the chance to spark your awesomeness knowing that you got your friends here to help you, I guess you really CAN do a great job as long as you believe in yourself!”
Sunburst smiled as he knew Rainbow could have the guts to pull this off easily. “That’s so great, Rainbow Dash!” He said excitedly.
“...and I’ve got a positive feeling that I’m ready to wed my friends to the ponies they love!” Rainbow finished.
“Amazing!” Sunburst said. “Alright! On Stage, Raspberry Beret, that will be all.” He told them.
“Of course, your crystalness.” On Stage said as he excited.
“We do only to serve.” Raspberry Beret said as she left with On Stage to help the next pony get ready.
“Well, Rainbow...” Sunburst said as he turned to her. “Are you all ready for this?”
“You bet I am!” Rainbow said in agreement to him. “I’ve got a good feeling about this one!”
They both left to have a small celebratory dinner together. As they were celebrating about Rainbow’s latest victory of acting to be a perfect reverend, the wonderbolt contacted Pinkie Pie’s room, where she and the CMCs were staying. Pinkie answered the phone.
“Hey, Rainbow!” Pinkie said over the phone. “It's Pinkie Pie!”
“And, Scootaloo here!” Scootaloo joined in.
“And Applebloom!” The farm filly added.
“And Sweetie Belle!” Sweetie finished.
“Hey, Pinkie!” Rainbow called. “Hey! Ooh! Ooh! I just had some rehearsal reverend training with Sunburst’s friends, On Stage and Raspberry Beret, and they knew a thing or two about whipping me up into shape. So, they helped me out and I was on the ball!”
“That just cost us four bucks.” Scootaloo said over the phone. “But uh listen, I just called to see how you doing?”
“I’m doing fine, Baby.” Sunburst said sarcastically and jokingly over the phone. “How you doing?”
Pinkie and the others giggled. “Rainbow, do not let him drink again.” She told her seriously.
“Oh, no! He’s not drunk!” Rainbow said.
“He’s not?” The hyper group asked.
“Nope!” The wonderbolt said over the phone. “You guys having fun yet?”
“Kinda, but I've just been having way too much fun.” Pinkie Pie said.
“So you're not homesick about Ponyville yet?” Sunburst asked them.
“No, I don't think so.” Applebloom said as she yawned. Just then, they heard a bell ding on the phone.
“Ooh, the pizza guy's here!” Rainbow said excitedly in response to the order that came for the wonderbolt and the Crystaller in celebration to the tremendous acting she had done for being the reverend for this six time wedding.
Pinkie and the CMCs were shocked that Rainbow and Sunburst were having Pizza without them and they weren’t told! “What? You ordered pizza without me?!” Scootaloo and Pinkie blurted out.
“Yeah. But y'know we were thinking about you, y'know we ordered the Pinkie Special.” Rainbow continued over the phone.
“Two pizzas?!” Babs Seed said, rushing in the room while the other CMCs were calling. “What Pizzas were they?!”
“Yep!” Rainbow said. “Okay, gotta go, talk to you guys later.” She hung up as she got back to the celebratory dinner she and Sunburst were having.
“Wait, well, where did you get it from?!” Sweetie Belle asked in shock. But, Rainbow had already hung up, leaving the girls in the dark. So Pinkie and the CMCs decide to watch some TV and turned the TV on to a rerun of Friends, with the theme song playing. At first, they were happy that their favourite sitcom was on, but as the song progresses to the words, “I’ll Be There For You”, Pinkie and the others started to get depressed and homesick about Ponyville.
At the rehearsal dinner hall, Rainbow Dash & Sunburst were the first ones to be there with the rest of their friends and their lovers all showing up as well.
Twilight and Fluttershy arrived. “Hi, Rainbow Dash!” They said excitedly to their friend as they hugged her.
“Hi, girls.” Rainbow said in enthusiasm and nervousness. “So yeah. Sunburst chose me to be the reverend.”
“Yeah, about that...” Twilight wondered. “Have you been doing well on it?”
“Oh, she has!” Sunburst said happily. “On Stage and Raspberry Beret trained her so well, that she’s going to have this six time wedding down!”
“Well, in that case...” Twilight said to her, hugging again. “We’re so proud of you!”
“I agree!” Fluttershy said in excitement. “I bet you’ll do a great job for the wedding!”
“That’s exactly what we’d like to see!” A voice said. Twilight and Fluttershy turned to see their parents here, happy to see them.
“Mom! Dad! BBBFF!” Twilight said as she hugged her family.
“Mom! Dad! Zephyr!” Fluttershy said happily as she hugged her family real tight.
“Cadence!” Twilight said as soon as she arrived.
“Twilight!” Cadence said as they walked up and did their routine. “Sunshine sunshine! Ladybugs awake! Cap your hooves and do a little shake!” They both giggled.
“Sweetheart.” Mrs. Shy said. “Oh sorry were late, my fault, I insisted on riding the tube.”
“Rain, the kids..” Mr. Shy said embarrassed.
“Cloud, that's what they call the subway.” Twilight Velvet told him reassuringly.
“Ohh, I thought that you....” Night Light said at first. Just then, more family members started piling in.
“Dad, dad. We got it!!” Twilight and Fluttershy said to their fathers. “We Got It!!!”
Just then, Celestia, and Luna arrived and Twilight was so happy to see them. “Celestia! Luna!” She said as she hugged them.
“Twilight!” The two sisters said as they hugged her.
“It’s very great to see you!” Celestia beamed. “I think this six time wedding will work out really well! Especially since Rainbow is the reverend.”
“I think so too.” Twilight said in agreement.
Just the Luna saw two other alicorns came in. She beamed. “Ohh, here come dad and mom, Tia.” Luna said excitedly as they saw their parents. “Mom and Dad, You remember our students, Twilight and Fluttershy.” She smiled sheepishly.
“Oh, Lulu.” Celestia said embarrassed that their parents were here.
Discord arrived via snap travel to see that the royals’ parents were here. “You never told me your parents were coming.” He said confused and a little defiant.
“Disssy, if I had known our parents were coming, I would told Luna not to invite them.” Celestia said feeling the same mood that Discord was in.
“Hello. Hello. How do you do? How do you do?” Celestia and Luna’s father, King Cosmos said, greeting and shaking each other’s hooves. “Very nice to meet you.” He looked over at his wife, which was the sister’s mother, Queen Galaxia. “Darling it's the Sparkles.” She was paying not attention while she was talking to some wonderbolts. “Darling, it's the Sparkles.” He said loudly. His wife still didn’t respond. “She's very self-absorbed, you know.” He told the couples. “I should never have married her.”
Queen Galaxia looked evilly toward her husband. “Sorry, what?” she asked.
“It’s Twilight and Fluttershy’s families.” He told her reminding.
“Where?” Galaxia asked.
“Well there's Twilight’s...” he pointed to the violet alicorn’s family. “...and there's Fluttershy’s.” He pointed to the kind Pegasus’ family.
She looked at the families and their daughters and discord. “And this is Discord?” She beamed in excitement. “Look how cute you are! Lovely to meet you.” She shook the families’ and Discord’s hands.
“Terribly nice of you to offer to pay for half the wedding.” King Cosmos said as he kindly handed Twilight’s father a multipage bill.
“Ohh forget it.” Night Light giggled. “To hell with tradition, we're happy to do it.”
“We know how expensive weddings can be, besides this may be the only wedding we get to throw.” Rain Shy said as she patted her daughter on the shoulder. “We so very proud of our little daughters.”
“And I’m so proud of my Twily.” Shining Armor said as he carefully hugged his little sister. “I couldn’t be more proud.”
“Ha ha.” Discord joked. ”A joke that's funny in all countries.“
“Well, as long as all of you are here, why don’t we head to a table and eat?” Twilight asked. The others all nodded in agreement as she directed their families to the table.
Applejack and Pinkie Pie were waiting for a table too as a waiter walked up to them with a smaller dish of appetizers. “Ma’am?” He asked her.
“What's in it?” Pinkie Pie asked.
“Goat cheese, water chestnuts, and panchetta.” The waiter told them. Applejack wanted to try some new fancy food, but Pinkie looked down disgustingly at the food.
“That's not food...No, I don't, no...” she said as the waiter left. Applejack’s ears flopped as she didn’t get her meal yet. “Pinkie!” She said frustrated.
“Everything's different here.” She told Applejack. “I want to go home. I...I miss my family. I miss Sugarcube Corner... I can't even remember what Pound and Pumpkin look like.”
“Pinkie, it's been three days, okay.” Applejack said to her. “You’re just a little homesick, Okay. Would you just try to relax?” She lightened up. “Just, just try to enjoy yourself.”
Pinkie was a little uncomfortable with what she just said. “You’re different here too.” She said pointing at the farm mare. “You’re mean in the Crystal Empire.” She walked away as the farm mare threw her hooves up in frustration.
Meanwhile, while Twilight, Fluttershy, Celestia, Luna and Discord we’re going over what was going to happen at the wedding, their parents were going over the bill that they got and were shocked at how much it cost them. “What the hell!!!” Night Light shouted in frustration.
“What’s wrong, Dad?” Twilight asked, trying to spread some light on the situation.
“This bill for my half of the wedding. it's insane.” Night Light said to her.
“How could it be so much?” Queen Galaxia asked. “The reception’s at our house.”
“Flowers, liquor, recarpet first floor. New guest bath, landscaping.” Night Light pointed to everything on the bill. “I'm paying to remodel this guy’s house.” He got up furiously to face King Cosmos. “I'm going to give you sonofabitch, a piece of my mind.”
“Dad, dad, please. Look I don't want anything to upset Fluttershy tonight.” Twilight told her dad.
“Alright, we’ve had a hard enough couple of days of proposals as they are.” Fluttershy said. “So, please let us handle this.” They got up to talk to the ponies who handled the bill.
“Well, you tell him no one takes advantage of the Sparkles, Shys and Celestia and Luna’s family!” Night Light said as they got up from the table.
“Ooh, Nighty...” Galaxia teased him. “Sometimes I forget how powerful you can be.” the families all hugged and kissed passionately.
Meanwhile, Starlight Glimmer, who was watching her friend’s families embrace in this one moment to settle the bill, was feeling a little nauseous from this one scene. “And I'm going to go get drunk.” she said out loud as she walked up to get a drink.
Twilight and Fluttershy managed to find the ponies who made the bill, and it was Pinkie’s rock farm family. “Mr. and Mrs. Pie?!” Twilight asked. “I didn’t know you’d be here!”
“Surely, we wouldn’t miss our daughter’s big day!” Igneous Rock Pie said with a smile as he looked at his wife.
“We’re so proud of our little Pinkamena.” Cloudy Quartz said smiling back at her husband with a happy tear in her eye.
“Okay, Look, face it.” Twilight said as she got the bill out to the Pies. “My father is not going to pay for the build-in barbecue and believe me you can kiss you gazebo goodbye.” She said frustrated. This made Igneous jump back in shock. “Now I might be able to get you the new lawn.”
“Ahh, then you have to give us the lawn ornaments.” Cloudy Quartz said with a look of determination and a smile in her face.
“Mom!” Limestone Pie said in shock. “It’s our sister’s wedding day tomorrow! And you’re wanting to add more accommodations to the Princess of Friendship’s day?!”
Twilight turned to Fluttershy. “If we go back there with lawn ornaments, they’re going to laugh in our face.” She said nervously.
“This is ridiculous.” Granny Smith came in right to them and had a stern look on her face. “I mean we had an agreement with my granddaughter and your daughter’s wedding!” The two lovers look frustrated as Granny began to raise her voice. “Will you say something, Iggy?!” She shouted “Please!!!”
“Don't take that tone with me.” Igneous said but looked at Granny Smith’s face and started to give in. “All-all right you can.” he turned to Twilight and Fluttershy and shrugged sheepishly.
Just then, Rainbow Dash got up and clinked her glass to make a toast, which caught everyone’s attention. She then noticed there was a napkin in her glass. She thought that sounded silly, so she removed the napkin and was ready to start her speech. “I'd like to toast to Twilight and Fluttershy, her royal highnesses Celestia, Luna & Discord, Pinkie Pie & Zecora, Applejack and Big Macintosh, and Rarity and Princess Cadence.” She announced. “Of course, my big toast will be tomorrow at the wedding, so this is kind of my little toast or early toast, if you will.”
No one in the room laughed which made Rainbow start to feel flustered. “Okay. I have known Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity for a long time. In fact, I knew them when Twilight was sent by Celestia to check on the celebrations for the Summer Sun Festival.” The Mane 5 looked embarrassed as she said that. “And I thought things were going to work out for us...Until the day Luna destroyed the Elements of Harmony. She laughed, but no one else did as they exchanged glances. “Ohh, Dear God..” the wonderbolt said embarrassed.
She continued. “And I'm sure we're all very excited that My friends and the princesses are getting married at the Crystal Castle.” No one said anything. “Ohh, come on!! Flurry Heart’s birthplace!! Come on, you people!!” She finally gave up. “All right, forget it!! Congratulations, Twilight and her teachers and friends.” She sat down.
Cozy Glow got up to proclaim her toast. “Hey, best mare number two, Cozy Glow.” She said sheepishly. “Now, I'm not good with the jokes like Rainbow Dash here. Boy...but ahh, I just want to say congratulation to the happy couples. I first met them in Ponyville in this school of Friendship back home...Home...Ponyville...Where everybody knows my name. Well anyway, I love you guys.” She pointed at everyone who smiled at her sweetly. “But not as much as I love Equestria.” She turned to the soon-to-be reverend. “Can we just get this over with?”
Later on Rainbow was facehoofing in embarrassment about her toast. And Sunburst, Starlight and Spike came over to comfort her. Spike was the first to speak. “Oh my god.” He said in silent shock.
“We heard about your toast.” Starlight said. “We’re so sorry.”
“It’s going to be okay, Rainbow Dash.” Sunburst said. “Sure it didn’t go so well tonight, but I promise you it’ll go better.”
Rainbow looked up. “How do you THINK it’ll go better?!” She asked. “Was any pony laughing?”
“I was laughing.” Starlight said to her.
“Out loud?” Rainbow asked her.
“Well I didn't want everyone to think I was stupid.” Starlight continued to say.
“So how are you doing?” Spike asked.
“Our families are driving us crazy, but Twilight and the others are getting married.” She said smiling. “I'm happy.”
Meanwhile, Twilight and Celestia’s families were going over the bill again and few parents were stressed. “There's no way in hell, I'm paying for it.” Mr. Shy said furiously to Igneous Rock Pie.
Fluttershy was starting to get stressed and she didn’t want to blow her stack off. “Look, Dad! We’re down to just one point. Could we please, maybe just settle it after the wedding.” She tried to calm her father down.
“All-right fine, but I just want to say, I'm not paying for your wine cellar.” Mr. Shy started to say toward Pinkie’s dad. “You thieving, would be rock farm ponies if it weren't for us, cheap Equestrians!” The others, including Cosmos and Galaxia were shocked at that remark.
“Wow!” Discord said as he saw the argument unfold. “That could be a problem.”
“If the Pies don’t hog it all.” Galaxia said jokingly, pointing to Pinkie’s family.
Back to Starlight and her bunch, who were just talking about the wedding.
“Oh, my Dad’s right.” Starlight said, embarrassed. “I'm never going to get married.”
Both Rainbow Dash and Spike couldn’t believe their ears. They didn’t think that sounded true. “Ahh, you know what? That is....Who wouldn't want you?” Rainbow Asked.
“Ohh, Please?! I'm a single mom, with a baby dragon son and a wonderbolt rainbow maned sister!!” Starlight said sarcastically. The two looked at each other. It didn’t sound right or so, but maybe they could work something out with their starry time travelling friend.
The next morning finally arrived! It was the day of Twilight Sparkle’s wedding...as well as Discord’s, Pinkie Pie’s, Rarity’s and Applejack’s! All their families would be there. She rushed in excitedly to tell her friends the good news!
“Girls! I'm getting married today!!“ Twilight screamed in excitement. “Whoo-hoo!!”
“Morning, Twilight.” Spike said, waking up and ready for his sister’s big day!
“I'm getting married, to..day!!” she said again excitedly.
“Yeah you are!!” Spike said in agreement and excitement as Twilight left screaming with pure excitement in her voice.
At that moment, Starlight and Rainbow rose up from the covers on both sides of him and were concerned. “Do you think she knew we were here?” She asked him. Spike looked at the two mare friends, not knowing what to say.
Finally, he said something. “Well I've-I've never done that with both of you before.”
“Nope.” Rainbow said uneasily as she chuckled nervously.
“So, ahh, how are ya?” He asked both mares. “How ya...How ya... You okay?”
“Yep, yep...You?” Starlight said nervously.
“Yes...Yes..Uh-huh, You?” Spike asked again.
“We did you.” Rainbow said, which made Spike and Starlight cringe in almost embarrassment.
“Well...We’d better get going.” Starlight said as she left the bed.
“Oh, yea yea, absolutely.” Spike said as he started to leave the bed.
“Could you not look?” Rainbow asked as she started to leave her side of the bed.
This made the purple duo freeze in shock at what she just said. “We don't want to look.” They said as they shielded their eyes for Rainbow to change in her proper attire for her reverend position for the big day.
At the Young Six’s room, Gallus and Sandbar were sitting back and enjoying themselves. Today was the big day, so they had to get ready soon! Sandbar took a good look inside the fridge and saw the selection of drinks inside. “All right they got water, orange juice, and what looks like cider.” He did see something that looked like cider but didn’t know what it was.
“Taste it.” Gallus suggested. Sandbar did so, and could instantly tell that it tasted awful. It tasted like chicken fat.
He set the glass down. “Yep.” He said bluntly. “It’s fat. I drank fat!”
“Yeah, I know, I did that two minutes ago.” Gallus said unfocused and knowing, making his friend looked shocked and stunned.
At that moment Smolder came in wearing a black girl-like tuxedo and her friends were amazed by the dress-tux she was wearing. “Hey!” She said.
“Hey, miss tux!” Sandbar said excitedly and upon seeing her in a nice dress outfit for the night.
She saw that her friends weren’t getting ready for the big moment. “Why aren't you guys dressed?” she asked them a little worried.
“We have a half hour.” Sandbar told her.
“No, four minutes ago you had a half hour.” Smolder said, taping her arm as if there were a watch. “We have to be out the door at twenty to eight.”
“Relax Smolder, we'll be ready.” Sandbar told her. “It only takes us two minutes to get dressed.”
“Well, you know, I'd feel a whole lot better if you got dressed now.” the orange dragon told them.
“Okay.” They both said, but they didn’t move at all, which made her start to get a little more worried.
Just then, Silverstream, a hippogriff of the Young Six, came in the room excited to see her friend. “Hey-hey! Oh, look at you, all sexy.” she said excitedly.
“Really?” Smolder asked, turning to her.
“Ooooh! Wow!! Oh, hi.” Silverstream said, ogling at her friend. Smolder said “hi.” too.
“How come you didn't come over earlier?” the hippogriff asked, pulling her friend in for a hug.
“Because, I’m a stupid, stupid dragon.” Smolder said jokingly.
“Hey, Smolder, want some cider?” Sandbar asked her.
“No.” She turned to Silverstream. “So, um, let's see your pretty close, huh. Make-up's on, hair's done.”
“Yeah, I just have to get dressed.” Silverstream finished.
“Yay!” Smolder silently cheered. “And that takes what? Just six or seven minutes?”
“Yeah!” Silverstream said. “Once, I figure out what I'm wearing.” She went into her changing room to find some appropriate clothes for the occasion.
“Glass of fat?” Sandbar said from behind and Smolder didn’t feel like having a drink like that just yet. She went over to a chair and sat down by her friend. “What's the matter, Smolder?” He asked her. “What you're nervous about your speech?”
“No!” Smolder nervously lied. “Do you wanna hear it?”
Sandbar beamed up. “Am I in it?”
“Uh, huh.” She said nervously. “Yeah, right after I thank everyone for giving money to our friends’ receptions, I sing a song about the wonders that are Sandbar and Gallus.”
Just then, Moondancer, one of Twilight’s friends, came in and she was wearing a black silk dress, with dark pink accents, still having the scholar's cut, black glasses, and had curled the back of her mane. Also, completing the outfit was a pair of silver crescent moon earrings, and the matching silver necklace.
“Hi, Moondancer!” Smolder said as she walked up to her upon seeing her dressed and ready for the occasion. “I’m glad you could make it!”
Moondancer smiled sweetly at her. “Thank you.” She said. “Twinkleshine, Minuette and Lemon Hearts were having a little trouble trying to adapt, but we worked it out.”
“Hey, Moondancer!” Twinkleshine said as she and the others came in the room the others were in. “We’re so excited for this wedding!”
“Especially, since Twilight’s getting married to Fluttershy!” Minuette said excitedly.
Moondancer smiled sweetly to her friends. “Thank you.” She said softly and nicely.
“Whoa! Moondancer!” Sandbar said in response to how she looked and as he was walking up to his friends. “You look great!”
She smiled sweetly. “I know.”
“You see this?” Smolder asked pointing to the bookworm and herself. “This a pony who is ready to go. Moondancer you, oh, you are my star.”
“Ohh, well, you're my star too.” She said as she blushed softly.
Just then, Gallus came in from the bathroom. “All right, I took the quiz, and it turns out, I do put career before men.” He saw Sandbar who was sitting in one of the big comfy chairs in the hotel room. “Get up.” He said to him.
“What?” Sandbar asked quizzically.
“You're in my seat.” Gallus said to him.
“How is this your seat?” Sandbar said jokingly.
“Because I was sitting there.“ the griffin told him bluntly.
“But then you left.” Sandbar finished.
“Well, it's not like I went to Spain.” Gallus said, starting to get a little feisty. “I went to the bathroom, you knew I was coming back.”
“What's the big deal?” Sandbar told him. “Sit somewhere else.”
“The big deal is I was sitting there last, so, that's my seat.” Gallus said bluntly to him again.
“Well, actually the last place you were sitting was in there.” Sandbar said as he pointed to the spot in the bathroom where he sat. ”Soo...”
“You guys, you know what, you know what, it doesn't matter...” Smolder said to them. “...because you both have to go get dressed before the big vain in my head pops. So..”
“All right, Smolder. I just have to do one thing, really quickly, it's not a big deal. GET UP!!“ he yelled at the green wavy-haired pony.
Just then, Ocellus and Yona came in as well. “Hi.” she said to her friends.
“Hey.” everyone said.
“Yona ready to have smashing time at pony wedding tonight!” Yona said excitedly as she and her friend came in.
“Ooh, Ocellus, you look great!” Twinkleshine said upon seeing her friend in a nice sea green elegant prism dress.
“Oh, thank you.” Ocellus said as she blushed sweetly. She then saw Smolder in a dress-like tuxedo. “Ooh, are you gonna do magic?” She beamed.
Just then, Cozy Glow came in and saw Smolder wearing the outfit Ocellus saw. “Are you going to do magic?” She asked, repeating the question the changeling asked her.
“That's, that's funny.” Smolder said. “Change!”
“Hang on a second I just got in.” Cozy said as she was trying to get inside a changing room to change for the wedding.
“Look, I don't care it starts at eight, we can't be late.” Smolder said, rhyming those last few words, 8 & late.
“And, we could not, would not want to wait.” Lemon Hearts said, adding on to the rhyming sentence that Smolder said.
She shot her a look that meant, “Come on, Guys! Let’s get serious!” “Look, the wedding’s tonight, okay, our friends are gonna be there, & everyone will see if we arrive after it starts.” She said worriedly.
Cozy came back and saw that the glass of fat was half-empty and looked like it had been touched. “Has somepony been drinking my fat?” She asked. Gallus and Sandbar looked at each other in shock as they just realized it was Cozy’s glass of chicken fat.
Silverstream came out of her room with a fuzzy sweater and slender black pants. “You guys, does this look like something the student of a Friendship school headmare would wear?” She asked as she held her outfit up.
“I don't know, you might be the first one.” Minuette said, confused by the way she was looking at the outfit.
“Silverstream, did you check the Machine?” Yona asked her quizzically.
“Uh, no.” The hippogriff said as she took a look at the costume. “Wait, you know what, this is the outfit that makes my brother’s calves look fat. Nevermind.” She went back into her room to find another outfit.
Meanwhile, Gallus and Sandbar were discussing about who would get the chair. “Well, Sandbar, I wrote a little song today.” He told him. “It's called: Get Up.”
Sandbar sighed. “Gee... you know I wish there was something I could do to help you.”
“Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up!” Gallus said stressed as he jumped in front of Sandbar.
Finally, he felt like giving in. “All right! You can have the chair.” he said frustrated.
“Really?” Gallus said excitedly.
“Oh my, would you look at that!” Sandbar said sneakily as he brought out his ‘crossed fingers’, further frustrating the griffin.
The answering machine in the room finally went off as a message by Moondancer. “Hi, it's me, we’re coming over now. Hey, what if I'm already there when your playing this message? Is that too spooky?” The others looked at each other almost getting a look of fear while Moondancer herself smirked jokingly.
Smolder’s message on the answering machine went off. “Hi Silverstream, are you there? It's me, pick up. Silverstream. Silverstream!”
Silverstream popped out of her bedroom. “What?!”
“Nevermind.” Smolder said quickly.
Just then, another message went off. “Hi, Cozy! It’s your sister, Spur! Did you ever sleep with Biscuit? Cause last night he kept on shouting 'Two for two'.”
Everyone looked at her shocked. “All right do you want Silverstream to get dressed or do you wanna hear a really long story about the one time we hung out at the county fair and messed around too much?” Cozy asked the others.
“Are you only asking Smolder?” Sandbar asked confused. “Cause I...”
A message from Vertex went off on the answering machine. “Ocellus, it's Vertex. Call me.”
Ocellus was shocked as she turned to her friends. “Is-is-is that message old or new?” she started to ask panicky. “Old or new?! Old or new?!” she yelled as her voice raised.
“It's old, it's definitely old.” Cozy said as she flew down to her. “Didn't you hear the, the double beep?”
“What if it's new?” Ocellus asked. “I mean, we agreed not to talk again, unless we had something really important to say. she gasped. “Shouldn't I call him back?”
“Honey, you did call him back.” Gallus reassured her. “'Cause, it's, it's really old.”
“Yeah, see Ocellus, listen, listen.” Smolder told her. “When Gar-Gar and I had issues with Spike, I went through the same thing. And you know what I did?”
“What?” She asked.
“I.....got.....dressed. Really, really quickly. Okay, okay.” Smolder said calmly to her. Silverstream tried to follow her back to her room, but got stopped by Smolder who sent her back to her own room. “There we go, there we go.”
“You know what, okay, fine.” Gallus said stressed. “Don't get up, you just sit right there. I just hope, you don't mind, you know, my hand right here.” He put his hand a couple of inches in front of his face and waved it all around. “Op, not touching, can't get mad! Not touching can't get mad! Not touching can't get mad!” Sandbar was annoyed with this and accidentally flung off some dip from a carrot. Moondancer and the others took notice as they dodged the dip, but it hit Lemon Heart’s dress.
Lemon Hearts was shocked at the sight of hummus on her dress. “Ah! Oh my God!” She squealed. “You r-r-rotten boys!”
Both Sandbar and Gallus were shocked at this. “Sorry, Lemon Hearts.” They confessed.
“What am I gonna do?” Lemon Hearts asked as she tried to rub it in.
“No, no, don't, don't, rub it! Don't!” Smolder said, a little panicked. She clapped peckishly. “What gets out hummus?! What gets out hummus?!”
“Ocellus!” Cozy shouted in panic. “Ocellus, you know what gets out hummus?”
“If it is a new message, what is he calling to say?” Ocellus asked, not listening to what topic the others were saying.
“Okay, thanks. Yeah, I'll try that.” Lemon Hearts said sarcastically, feeling ignored at that comment.
“Maybe he's calling to say your obsessive and crazy.” Minuette guessed.
“So, should I call him back?” Ocellus asked them.
“Noo!” Moondancer, Minuette, Twinkleshine, Gallus, Sandbar, Smolder, Cozy Glow, & Yona all said in shock. But, she went into her room anyway. “NO!”
Silverstream came out with a top and skirt in her hands. “Ok, do these match?” she asked.
“Yes, they definately match.” Smolder said proud.
“They don't match.” Sandbar said as Silverstream groaned and went back into her room to change. The others looked at him as Smolder got upset at him. “What?” He asked them. “They didn't match!”
“All right, fine, you know what, we'll both sit in the chair.” Gallus said, having enough of this him and Sandbar anger fest. He sat right on the green pony’s lap. “I'm soooo, comfortable.” He said sarcastically, giving him a taste of his own medicine.
“Me too.” Sandbar said uncomfortably. “In fact, I think I might be a little too comfortable.”
Gallus jumped off him. “All right!” he said, giving up.
“Okay, look, we have nineteen minutes.” Smolder said peckiskly. “Okay, Gallus, I want you to go and change!” The griffin went to go change. “Okay. And then, when you come back, Sandbar will go change, and he'll have vacated the chair. Okay? Okay.”
“All right! Fine! I'm going.” He said as he went to his changing room. “But when I get back it's chair sitting, and I'm the griffin who's....sitting in a chair!” He left to go change without saying another word.
“Is this a little too...” Silverstream suddenly saw that Lemon Hearts’ dress was stained with hummus. “Lemon Hearts, what happened?” She asked worriedly.
“Hummus.” She told the hippogriff. “I got the hummus.”
“Ooooh! Honey, well we'll find you something.” Silverstream told her as she got out a black jacket. “Do you wanna wear my black jacket?”
“That won't go with this dress though.” Minuette pointed out.
“No, you're right.” Silverstream said. “Well, we'll find something. Let's just get you out of that. Come on.” She started to get the yellow blue maned pony out of her dress.
“No, no, no, no, no, no, not out of that, not out of clothes.” Moondancer said, stopping her.
“Cozy, can Lemon Hearts borrow your green dress?” She asked her friend.
Just then, Ocellus came out of her changing room. “I called him.” she said.
“Nooo.” everyone except Ocellus said in shock.
“Yes.” She said. “Well I got his Machine and I left a message. But it's okay, it's okay, it's okay, because you know it was like a casual, breezy message. It was breezy!” Just then, she had an awful thought. “Oh God, what if it wasn't breezy?”
“Well, how could it not be breezy, no, 'cause, you're, you're in such a breezy place.” Twinkleshine said to her reassuringly whole everyone else nodded in agreement.
“Here, I got it.” Ocellus went to the answering machine. “I'll play my message for you guys, and you can tell me if it's breezy enough.”
“How is changeling pal gonna do that?” Yona asked confused.
“I know the code to his answering Machine.” she said as she dialed the code.
“Okay, Ocellus, I really don't think this is the...” Smolder started to say when she saw her dialing.
“Okay, you're dialing, you are dialing.” Twinkleshine said as Gallus reentered the room and saw Sandbar ready to head to the chair. They both raced to get to the chair and Gallus ultimately made it by a close second. “Ha ha!” He said in triumph.
“Dammit!” Sandbar said in frustration that he didn’t get the chair.
“What's going on?” Gallus asked as he saw Ocellus doing the unthinkable.
“Ocellus is beeping into Vertex’s machine.” Minuette told him.
“Is she crazy?” he asked in shock.
“Like a straw?” Both Gallus and Silverstream were confused at this. “Remember crazy straws?” Moondancer asked as she demonstrated them in the air with her magic.
The machine went off again. “Hi, this is Vertex. Please, leave a message at the tone.” it said. “You have two new messages.” it said again.
“Wow, what a cool job.” Minuette said as she imitated the answering machine. “'You have two new messages.' 'Please, pass the pie.'”
“Hi, it's Ocellus.” Ocellus said on the answering machine. “I'm just checking in 'cause I got this message from you and I didn't know if it was old or new or what. So, I'm just checkin'. So let me know, or don't, whatever. I'm breezy.”
“Hey, you can't say you're breezy.” Sandbar said in shock to that message. “That...that totally negates the breezy.”
“Hi! it's me, yesterday was really fun.” Someone else on the answering machine said. “Call me about this weekend, okay.” Everyone was completely shocked at that.
“Now she sounded breezy.” Gallus said, complimenting the message that was just said a few seconds ago.
Ocellus was shocked. “He's seeing someone.” She said. “I can't believe he's seeing someone.”
“Ocellus, you don't know that.” Cozy started to point out.
“Well, who's voice was that?” she asked quizzically.
“Maybe it was his sister's. You know, maybe it was his daughter's.” Gallus suggested.
At that moment, Lyra Heartstrings came in. “What’s going on?” She asked her friends.
“Oh, Ocellus got a message from someone on the answering machine from someone who sounded breezy.” Sandbar said sarcastically.
“What? Let me see.” Lyra went over to the answering machine, and played back the message. Right there and then, she instantly recognized who the voice was.
“Bon Bon!” She said in excitement. “Of course, it was Bon Bon! Did it sound like Bon Bon?”
“I-I cannot remember her.” Moondancer said.
Smolder looked outside and saw that it was getting darker outiside. “Oh, great. It's getting darker.” She said with frustration and worry in her voice. “That will make it easy to get a cab.”
“It was Bon Bon.” Lyra said, reassuring Ocellus. “It was definitely Bon Bon.”
“Lemon Hearts, you go with Cozy and try on her green dress.” Silverstream said. “If that doesn't work, you can wear my gray silk one.” They did so, going into one of the changing rooms. Suddenly, Silverstream forgot what she was supposed to wear. “Oh, gosh, what am I wearing?!”
“You don't, you don't know what your wearing?” Smolder asked in shock.
“Well, Smolder. I'm just trying to look nice for Twilight’s big night.” The hippogriff pointed out.
“Yeah, which, which we have to leave for in exactly twelve minutes.” She said in a panic, checking her watch. “All right, come on, I'll just pick something out for you.” She went into a changing room and got out something for the hippogriff to wear. “Look there-there that looks good.” she said to her.
“Smolder, that's a towel!” She said frustrated.
“All right, you will notice that I am fully dressed. I, in turn, have noticed that you are not.” Sandbar said frustrated to his griffin friend. “So in the words of A. A. Milne, "Get out of my chair, Butthole!" He commanded.
“Okay.” Gallus said and got up, which turns out to be something he shouldn’t have done because right when he did that, Sandbar took the couch cushions and Gallus took notice. “What are you doing?”
“You said gave me the chair, but you didn't say anything about the cushions.” Sandbar said, holding them up to his view.
“The cushions are the essence of the chair!” Gallus pointed out bluntly.
“That's right! I'm taking the essence.” He walked away to get ready for the night and as he did that Smolder and Silverstream exited the changing room with the dragon feeling embarrassed.
“Look, I'm sorry, I thought it looked pretty.” Smolder said apologetically as she left said room.
“Smolder, that was a Halloween costume, unless you would like me to go to this thing as Little Bo Peep.” Silverstream said angry at her.
The dragon blushed. “Look, I didn't recognize it without that inflatable sheep.” she said.
“Yeah, which, by the way Gallus, I would like back one of these days.” she said as she went back in to change.
“We used the sheep as pillows when we went camping.” Gallus pointed out.
“Hey, what you do on your own time...” Smolder started to say. While she was saying that, Lemon Hearts was presenting to the hippogriff a dress on a hanger that blended in with the stain.
“Oh Silverstream, good, listen isn't this perfect for me?” She asked her.
“Oh, it's perfect!” She said. “But not for tonight.”
“Well, of course not for tonight.” Lemon Hearts admitted as she went to find a different solution.
“Not for tonight. Not for tonight! Wh-what, what, what, are you doing?” Smolder asked confused and worried.
At that moment, Sandbar stormed in the room. “Where's my underwear?!” he demanded.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa.” Minuette said, calming him down. “Come on, come on, what. You took his underwear?”
“He took my essence!” Gallus objected.
“Okay, now hold on. Sandbar.” Twinkleshine said to him. “Why...why can't you just wear the underwear you're wearing now?”
“Because, I'm not wearing any underwear now.” he said bluntly. This made everyone shocked at that.
“Okay, then why Pony Pal have to wear underwear tonight?” Yona asked.
“It's a rented tux. Okay. I'm not gonna go commando in another man's pants.” Sandbar said calm, but still blunt.
“Well, then it looks like somebody is gonna have to give back somebody his cushions.” Gallus said, with a smirk as he stepped up to him.
“Okay, you hide my clothes. I'm gonna do the exact opposite to you.” Sandbar said as he started to head back to his changing room.
“What are you gonna do?” Gallus asked jokingly. “You gonna show me my clothes?”
“Hey, opposite, is opposite!” Sandbar said as he left to change.
“He's got nothing!” Gallus shot back to the others which made them jump back in response to how the griffin’s voice sounded. At that moment, Lemon Hearts came in with a red bow on the dress, covering up the stain.
Everyone was shocked that it almost blinded them. “Oh, aaaah!” they said almost covering their eyes to prevent being blinded.
“Hi. Silverstream, didn't have anything that I liked, so, but she had this Christmas ribbon, and I thought, 'All right, fine I'll be political.'” She said cheerfully to her friends.
“What are you supporting?” Gallus asked confused.
“Duh!! Christmas!” she said jokingly and happy.
“It’s not even December!” The griffin started to say,
“Okay, hey, that's okay with me.” Smolder said nervously. “A few down and I have exactly...” she grabbed Gallus’ arm to see that it was 7:33 PM on his watch, since Smolder didn’t HAVE a watch. “Seven minutes. I have seven minutes!!”
Silverstream came out again, showing a black or purple pair of shoes. “Okay, Moondancer, quick! What shoes should I wear?” She couldn’t decide which one. ”The black or the purple?”
“Just, just, just pick one!” Lyra said, stressed out that the hippogriff wouldn’t decide on a final option to wear something for the wedding.
“Okay, okay, okay, the black.” The hippogriff said. “But, oh, do you have black, with the little strappys? Those really go better with pants. Maybe I should wear pants?”
Smolder facehoofed. She couldn’t take much more of Silverstream not deciding on what to wear and neither could the others. She had to step in for her. “Yeah, pants, what, what an idea. Or better yet, um, how 'bout you go without any pants?” The dragon said shocked, flustered and frustrated at the same time that her friend couldn’t decide and time was running out. “Look, I don't know what you're trying to do to me, but just get your butt in there and pick out any shoes that fit your feet, okay. No, no I don't care if they match. I don't care if they make your ankles or your knees or your earlobes look fat. Okay?!”
Silverstream was taken aback by how her friend was saying it to her like that. “But I...” she started.
“No, no, no just do it.” Smolder said, throwing the shoes to the ground. “Go in there and pick something out so we can go!”
“All right.” Silverstream said, taking a deep breath and deciding to give in to her friend’s request.
“Thank you!” Smolder sighed in anxiety and relief. The others sighed in agreement with her as well.
Ocellus came bursting out of the changing room. “Okay. I gotta call Bon Bon.” She said frantically. “I gotta see if that was her voice or not. I'm sorry, I just have to.” She started to dial the number.
“It was, it was her voice.” everyone except Ocellus and Silverstream said in unison and frustration.
“Ocellus, I think you've gone over to the bad place.” Cozy said, worried about the action her friend was taking.
“Hola! Hello. Hello?” Bon Bon said over the answering machine.
“Okay. That was her right?” she asked the others.
“Definitely.” Minuette said in relief to her.
“See there you go. Woo! We're out of the woods.” The changeling said happily. “Okay, I'll get dressed now.” She went to start getting dressed.
“Yay!” Everyone minus Silverstream said in excitement.
Just then, the phone rung again. “I'll get it, okay.” Twinkeshine said as she answered it. “Hi! Yeah, just a second, can I ask who's calling?” She heard the voice and recognized who it was. “Oh, ew, it's Bon Bon!” She said, handing Ocellus the phone as she came out. “Ew! She, she must have that Caller Id thing. You should get that.”
Ocellus picked up the phone. “Uh, Bon Bon? Yeah, that was me, I-I dialed your number by mistake.” She said as she listened in on the conversation. “Oh, you're so sweet. Yeah, we were a great couple. I know I really miss him. Well, you know how it is, it's that....I only beeped in so I could hear my message. I mean that's allowed. Yeah-huh! I mean look, yeah, you know what I would really appreciate it if you didn't tell your Dad about. What do you mean, you're not comfortable with this? Come on we're friends!!” Bon Bon hung up while Ocellus herself was infuriated as well. “That bitch always hated me. I'm calling her back.”
“No, no, no, no.” Smolder said, worried.
“Tick, tick, tick, tick.” Moondancer said, nodding in agreement with her.
“Okay, fine.” Ocellus got up in a huff as she went to her changing room.
“They got a phone in there, right?” Gallus said, starting to get worried.
“Okay, we're on it. We're on it.” Lemon Hearts said as she and Lyra rushed in after her to get to the phone in said room. The others stood there a little worried not knowing what was about to go on with the three deciding about what to do with the phone in the changing room.
A few seconds later they heard an argument go off. “Get away from that! No!” Lyra shouted. She then came out of the room with Lemon Hearts, holding a broken disconnected phone in her hoof. “She's just getting dressed.” she told them. The others were shocked, not knowing WHAT to think.
“Is it wrong that I was totally aroused by that?” Gallus said as he exited the room AFTER Lyra and Lemon Hearts.
At that moment, Sandbar came in wearing a whole bunch of clothes and presented his outfit to Gallus, who came to look at his costume. “Okay, buddy-boy.” He said. “Here it is. You hide my clothes, I'm wearing everything you own.” He posed for all to see.
Gallus was shocked. “Oh my God!” He shouted. “That is so not the opposite of taking somebody’s underwear!!”
“Look at me! I'm Gallus!” He said mockingly to him. “Could I be wearing any more clothes?” Gallus was STILL shocked that his friend was dressed this way and that he was mocking him. “Maybe if I wasn't going commando...”
Gallus gasped in anger. “Yeah.” Sandbar said. “Whew, it's hot with all of this stuff on. I ah, I better not do any, I don't know, lunges.” And he started doing lunges, further mocking the griffin. Needless to say, Gallus was NOT liking this one bit!
Smolder and Lyra both have had enough of this as they both went up to them to intervene. “Okay, okay. Enough, enough with the lunging.” Smolder said, frustrated. “No! I'm sick of this. Okay. We’ve had it up to here with you two!”
“That’s right!” Lyra said frustrated at the two. “And you know what? Neither of you can come to the wedding!”
Gallus and Sandbar were shocked that their friend, who was inviting them to go to the wedding, would flat out ban them from coming to the wedding now. “Jeez, what a baby.” Gallus said, still feeling shocked and hurt about what happened.
“Yeah, Smolder, way to ruin it.” Sandbar said in agreement, feeling a little hurt. “I was just going to get dressed.”
“You know what?” Smolder snapped at them. “At this point, I don't care. The only thing we care about is that we make it to our best friend’s wedding AND THE WEDDING OF THE FOUR ROYAL PRINCESSES AND THE LORD OF CHAOS!!!!!!”
“Yeah!” Lyra said with Minuette and Lemon Hearts nodding in agreement. “And you’re not helping one bit by wasting your time and arguing about who took who!” Gallus and Sandbar both felt awful for how the argued, especially in front of their friends. They had a great, yet lousy way to show it.
“Sorry, Gallus.” Sandbar confessed.
“Me too, Sandbar.” The griffin confessed as well.
“And now, both of you, go get changed!” Lyra told them strictly, but more specifically to Sandbar.
Smolder nodded. “I agree with Lyra!” She turned to Gallus. “You, give him back his underwear! I'm gonna go get a cab, and I want everyone down stairs in two minutes! Ocellus!”
Sandbar and Gallus both went to their changing room to get ready with the green pony doing lunges on the way there! “Stop it. Stop it!” he said, already feeling perturbed as it already was.
Ocellus ran to the phone and started dialing. “Smolder went to get a cab so we can all...” Twinkleshine started and then noticed Ocellus started dialing again! “No, wh-what are you doing?” She asked the changeling in shock. “No, Ocellus, no!”
“Hi, this is Vertex.” the machine said. Ocellus hit a button. “You have three new messages.” it now said.
Ocellus smiled. “Not anymore!” She said in confidence as she erased all three messages with the touch of a button and just like that, all 3 messages were gone!
“Message erased. To record a message begin speaking at the tone. ” the machine said.
Ocellus hit the button on the machine and started her message. “Hi, uh, Vertex it's Ocellus, um, listen I did something kind of crazy tonight, um, maybe I'm getting my period or something, I don't know.” She said. “Um, anyway, I, I, I beeped into your Machine and I heard a message that, that freaked me out, and um, you know what Bon Bon will tell you the rest. I, I, um, I'm sorry, okay, I, I hope that we can forget the whole thing. Okay, bye.” She hit the button, ending her message.
“Your outgoing message has now been changed. ” the machine now said.
Ocellus was shocked. “Outgoing? Did that say outgoing?!” She asked. “Not, outgoing!!!” She hit the button to replay her message.
“ Hi, uh, Vertex it's Ocellus, um, listen I did something kind of crazy tonight, um, maybe I'm getting my period or something, I don't know.” it said.
“Nooo!!” she shouted in shock.
“How did you do that?” Twinkleshine asked.
“I don't know!” Ocellus said, not knowing that she hit a button to hang up on the machine.
“ Good-bye.” the machine said.
Ocellus was now horrified at this, because now, she realized it was too late. “Noooo!!!!” she cried.
Smolder came out to them in a hurry. “Okay, okay, okay, I've got two cabs and no one inside them.” She told them panicky. “Go! Go! Go!” She clapped her hands quickly.
“Okay!” They said as Lyra, Yona, Minuette, Cozy & Moondancer all went out the door. Sandbar joined in too after he finished getting dress and was out the door with them.
“Maybe we could call the phone company.” Ocellus said, trying to recover the incident she just had. “Maybe they could change the message. Maybe they can change his number.” She said both calm and panicked as she and Twinkleshine both got up and started to leave the room.
“Yeah, after this, I think he'll be doing that himself.” Twinkleshine said as Smolder carefully pushed them out the door to the cab.
“Let’s go! Let’s go!” Smolder said as she followed the two out the door.
This left Gallus the only one in the room as he was waiting for Silverstream. He wondered what could be taking her so long and he didn’t want to be late for Twilight’s wedding...much less the other weddings either. “Silverstream!!” Gallus called out, worried that she wouldn’t be there in time and that they’d be late for the wedding.
Silverstream finally came out of the changing room, presenting the griffin in her outfit. Gallus was stunned at what he saw. Silverstream was in a green night evening gown with her pearl necklace still on, and silver ringed earrings on her ears. She was really a sight to be seen. “Wow!” Gallus said, feeling speechless. “You, uh, you look, wow!”
“And I still have about five seconds to spare.” she seductively said as she went up to him and they wrapped their arms around each other and locked their lips in the most passionate kiss that they shared for the first time.
Finally, they broke the kiss. “Okay, that was about seven seconds.” she said as she softly giggled.
“So we're a little late.” Gallus said calm to her and giggling a little bit.
“Come on.” She said as they started to leave the room. “Oh! And, uh, by the way....”
“What?” Gallus asked curiously.
“I'm going commando, too.” she said as she smiled sweetly to him.
“Awwww!!!” Gallus said in excitement and lust they he followed her out the door and they walked to the Crystal Castle for the wedding.
The Young Six and Twilight’s Canterlot friends had made it all the way to the Crystal Castle for the big night! It had finally arrived! The big wedding of Twilight Sparkle, Princesses Celestia, Luna & Cadence, Zecora & Big Macintosh to Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and the Lord of Chaos himself...Discord had finally arrived! Tonight was the night to make those couples bound together in love forever!
They had made their way inside the castle and had oohed and aahed at the sight of it. They were intrigued at how it looked, and decided to catch up with their friends.
Meanwhile, Twilight and Fluttershy as well as the Sun and Moon princesses and Discord made their way inside with their families tagging along. They were pretty amazed by how it looked. Heck, even Shining Armor and Zephyr were shocked and appalled by how it was set up majestically!
“Oh my God!” Mrs. Shy said in pure excitement, looking at how wonderfully the castle was set up for the wedding. “It's like a fairyland.”
“I know, it's horrible isn't it?” Twilight Velvet said jokingly while Galaxia giggled only for Mrs. Shy to look at them angrily. “What? We were only joking.”
“Well, I love it.” Starlight said in excitement by looking at the inside. “I only hope my wedding looks this good.”
“I just hope...” King Cosmos started.
Starlight got a little peeved. “You can let some of them go by!” she said as she stormed to the others in a huff, leaving the others confused.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were practicing how the farm mare would say her vows for the wedding. She used a slightly different inflection for each time she said her line. “I do. I do. I do.” she said repeatedly.
“Oh yeah, you’re right, AJ.” Rainbow said to her. “It's the second one.”
“Really?” Applejack asked nervously. Rainbow Dash nodded and Applejack sighed with relief that she had this wedding stress under control.
As the others were going over last minute preparations, some other friends and family began to pile in the Castle. Twilight noticed the Student six, Cozy Glow and her old Canterlot friends were here. She was excited as she came up to them. “Hi, Guys!” She said, excitedly.
“Twilight!” Moondancer said as she, Lemon Hearts, Twinkleshine, Minuette, and Lyra all hugged Twilight who was soon-to-be married to her lover.
After a while, Twilight broke the hug. “I’m glad you all could make it.” She said proud.
“No problem!” Minuette said. “We wouldn’t miss the big moment about you being married to Fluttershy!”
“We wouldn’t miss this one for all the friendship assignments!” Smolder said jokingly, earning a playful serious, nudge by Gallus.
“What she’s saying is we’re happy to see you finally get married.” Gallus said kindly. The rest of the student six nodded in agreement.
“You nervous yet?” Cozy asked.
“Nervous about what?” Twilight asked back.
“Well, It’s not every day that you finally meet someone you like enough to actually fall in love with and get married to.” Cozy said to her. Twilight gave her a look. “What I meant was that it’s really great you’re getting married...and it’s to one of your friends!”
Twilight smiled sweetly. “Aw, thanks, Cozy.” She said.
“No problem.” She said.
“Now, let’s get you ready for your big night.” Twinkleshine said as they all took Twilight to the altar to get her prepped and ready for the big moment.
Meanwhile as Pinkie was waiting for her big moment, pacing around nervously, she saw her sister Maud and the rest of the Pie family. She was excited to see them as she raced up to her family. “Maud!” Pinkie said, giving her sister a tight hug before releasing her. “I’m so glad you could make it!”
“I’m happy to see you too, Pinkie Pie.” Maud said in her usual monotone voice as she gave her sister a hug.
“Yeah, Pinkie!” Limestone Pie said excitedly. “I can’t believe it’s already your big day! On top of that, your best friend, the princess of Friendship is also getting married too!”
“Uh huh!” Marble said in agreement, happy as well.
Applejack was already finishing going over her vows for the wedding with Rainbow Dash. “I think I got it.” She said confidently.
Just then, she heard a voice that shocked her like a caterpillar on cider season. “Well, smack me with a handle! Applejack! What an plum-tactic surprise!” Applejack turned to see the Golden Horseshoe Gals here. She was shocked and amazed that they showed up.
“Granny!” Applejack said as she hugged them. “Goldie! Apple Sauce! Apple Rose! I’m so glad you could make it!”
“Oh, honey!” Apple Sauce said in a saucy tone. “We wouldn’t want to miss the big wedding of you and Big Mac!” She leaned over to her ear and whispered. “Such a stallion!”
Applejack froze for a second and then reanimated. “Eeyup!” She said nervously and excited. “I’m finally marrying the stallion of my dreams! Ain’t that right, Granny?”
Granny Smith was a little displeased earlier about Big Mac loving another girl and not his sister. “I shouldbe stopped this wedding a few weeks ago!” She said in a huff! Applejack shuddered. “But, if you love him so much, it’s alright with me!” She smiled heartwarming.
“Aww, thanks Granny!” Applejack said as she blushed.
“Now, let’s go see what the grub is before they run out!” Apple Rose said as they left to go find the reception treats. Applejack smiled that her grandmother and her friends were here. Just then, she jumped as she heard another voice.
“Applejack??” The voice said in wonder. The farm mare turned around and couldn’t believe her eyes at what she saw! Its was her own parents, Bright Mac and Pear Butter! And they were happy to see her on her big day!
“Ma?” Applejack asked in shock. “Pa??” She didn’t expect to see them here, after all these years!
“Applejack?” Pear Butter asked. “Is that really you?” Applejack and her parents all teared up as they ran up and hugged each other like never before. After a few seconds, they finally broke the hug. “We’re so happy to see you!”
“And on your big day, too!” Bright Mac said proudly.
“I thought you were...you know...” The farm mare said nervously. “Gone!”
“Oh, we just got back from our trip in Saddle Arabia.” Pear Butter said, and we saw Granny Smith and she told us you were getting married and it was here! Oh, we’re so proud for you!” She hugged her daughter again happily.
“That was something alright.” Applejack said weakly and relieved.
“Well, we’re gonna see the other members of your friend’s kinfolk.” Bright Mac said. “We can’t wait to see you be wed to your special somepony! It’ll be so heartwarming!” And he and Pear Butter went to catch up with the other families.
Applejack smiled as a tear left her eye. She was so happy that her parents were actually here to see her wedding to Big Mac. She thought they were gone, but no! They were in Saddle Arabia the whole time! She couldn’t have been so heartfelt at that moment.
Speaking of that previous thought, she marched up to Granny Smith, very angry at her for hiding the truth about her family. “You lied to me about Ma and Pa being gone?!” She said as Granny Smith blushed a pure red shade of crimson. “I can’t believe this! Everything you told me about my parents’ death was a lie!” She cried as she went to Rainbow, who could tell that her friend was struggling to come to terms with that fact that her parents didn’t go away.
She took her friend in a hug and comforted her. “I can’t believe my granny lied to me about my parents being gone!” Applejack sobbed.
Rainbow Dash could tell her friend was having a hard time trying to grip to the truth. So she smiled at her and helped her out. “Sshhhhhhh.” She calmly said. “Tell no pony.” She rubbed her like a mother would help soothe a crying child who had just thrown a tantrum.
Meanwhile, Rarity and Cadence were getting ready for the big moment they would have together as they would now begin the first chapter of their lives as a married couple. "So, uh... how's it going so far?" Princess Cadence asked, breaking the tension. "Is everything alright?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry... It's just... oh so complicated. " Rarity replied, before letting out a nervous laugh. Just then she heard that almost scared the living daylights out of her.
“Well! Good to see you', Rarity!” She wheeled around to see her parents here to see her moment at the wedding. She was shocked.
“Father! Mother!” Rarity cried out in sheer surprise. “What are you doing here?!”
“We wouldn’t miss your wedding for all of Equestria!” Hondo Flanks said as he hugged his daughter.
Rarity broke free from the hug, still shocked at her parents’ presence. “I... figured.” She said faintly.
“We’re so proud of you!” Cookie Crumbles said, pulling her daughter in for a hug! “You getting married to the princess of the Crystal Empire! Oh, this is so much excitement!” She beamed with huge excitement. “Just think, Rarity! Pretty soon, you could become a Crystal Pony!”
Rarity was shocked and became really excited when her mother had said all that! “Well, yes of course!” She said. “I can’t wait! I’m just a little nervous.”
“I know!” Cookie said excitedly. “Such a great time to finally have a special somepony! Well, we’re going to see Pear and Bright!” She said as she and Hondo met up with the Apples.
Back to Rainbow and Applejack as the wonderbolt was taking care of her sad friend who was trying to deal with the truth about her family life. As she was comforting her friend, she heard a voice that grabbed her attention.
“Crash?” Rainbow wheeled around and saw Spitfire and the REST of the Wonderbolts before her! She couldn’t believe her eyes.
“Spitfire?” Rainbow asked. “Guys! I can’t believe you’re here!” She was so excited.
“Hey, we wouldn’t miss the big moment of your friends’ life!” Soarin said in agreement.
“Clipper’s right.” Spitfire said. “When we heard your friends were getting married, we couldn’t pass the chance up! And, especially since it’s at the Crystal Castle!” She smiled. “Congratulations from all of us, Rainbow!”
“Yeah, even from me!” Misty Fly said excitedly.
“We wouldn’t miss it for the world, Crash!” Fleetfoot said as well! “We turned down our aerial show for this!”
Rainbow smiled that her idols were there. She then switched to shock when she saw an older, yet sexier version of Spitfire with a cyan Pegasus with a jacket and gray legend hair walking up to her as well. “Oh, great.” She said dissatisfied. “It’s Windrider.” The other wonderbolts were shocked and a teeny bit dissatisfied that he was here.
“Mom?!” Spitfire asked in shock. “What are you doing here??”
“We just wanted to see the biggest moment of Rainbow’s friends’ life!” Windrider said as he turned to Rainbow herself. “Stormy and I couldn’t be more proud of you to help out with your friends’ weddings!” He put out a hoof kindly to her. “Hey, I’m sorry I framed you a few years ago. I know how much you wanted to be a wonderbolt and I couldn’t be more proud of you to achieve that dream.”
Rainbow was a little surprised that he apologized to her about that incident years ago. He thought he hated her for what she did to get her spot of flying with them in the show, but after hearing his apology and seeing how proud he was, she decided to forgive him. “Hey, all’s forgiven, Windrider.” She said as she stuck her hoof out. “I forgot about that moment years ago.”
“I knew you would.” Windrider said as he shock her hood a little hard, but kindly. “Put er there!” He kindly punched her, and she was ready for round 2. “Sorry.” He said quickly as she stopped herself and smiled.
Just then, she noticed a ring on Stormy Flare’s hoof. “Hey, why is there a ring on there?” She asked, pointing to said object.
“Oh, didn’t you know?” Stormy Flare asked. They nodded. “Windrider and I got engaged!” She said excitedly. Spitfire was shocked at this news...especially the rest of the bolts! “After that one moment with the air show, we’ve been going out for years and a few nights ago, he asked me to marry him and I said yes!” She hugged her daughter. “Windrider and I are getting married! Isn’t that wonderful? You’re going to have a Stepfather!”
“Speaking of which, we’re going to meet up with the other families.” Windrider said as he and Stormy went to find them. “Good luck, Rainbow Dash!” He said to her excitedly. “You’ve got this!”
Spitfire was a combination of shocked and horrified as she was trying to process this news. “My mom is getting married to Windrider?!?! I can’t believe this!” She turned to Rainbow. “Well, we better get your friends ready! These weddings won’t prepare themselves!” The other boots nodded as they took Applejack and got her ready to get through her moment with Big Mac.
Just then, she heard another voice. Only, this one made her jump. “Rainbow Dash!” She turned to see her parents coming in and hugging her tight. “We’re so glad we could make it!” Her dad, Bow Hoothoof said in excitement.
“Mom? Dad?!” Rainbow said as she tried her best to squirm from the tight hug her parents were giving her.
“We just can’t believe that you’re getting married!” Her mother, Windy Whistles said in excitement as she hugged her daughter tight.
“Uh, Bow? Windy?” Scootaloo asked confused. “Rainbow’s not getting married. It’s her friends that are getting married. She’s the reverend.”
The Pegasus pony’s parents broke the hug and giggled. “Oh. Sorry about that.” Bow said as he and Windy blushed a little. “But still...pretty great, huh?”
“Uh, yeah!” Rainbow said. “That IS pretty great, Mom and Dad.”
“Best wedding planner of all time!” Windy started to squeal excitedly.
“Windy!” Bow warned her. “She’ll get embarrassed.” He pointed to his daughter, who was slowly turning into the cutest shade of red that you ever did see.
“Oh, sorry.” Windy apologized. “I know how excited I get. But, I couldn’t be more proud of you and your friends.” She pulled her daughter in for one more hug.
“Yeah. I’ll catch you later, Mom and Dad.” Rainbow said. “I gotta go check on the brides and Grooms for the big day.” She flew off to check on her friends.
“See you at the reception!” Bow called out.
“Love you!” Windy said as she started to tear up in excitement.
Back to Pinkie Pie and her sisters talking about the wedding. Pinkie’s parents came up to her and they were so proud of her. Igneous Rock smiled warmly, while Cloudy Quartz smiled with a tear coming out of her eye.
“Pinkamena Diane Pie!” Igneous said as he hugged his daughter. “Your mother and I couldn’t be more proud of you!”
“I concur with your father.” Cloudy Quartz said to her. “You finally found a special somepony for your bride!” She kissed her daughter on the cheek. “This is a very special moment for us, but also you and your lover.”
Pinkie smiled as tears of joy started to trickle out of her eyes. “Awwwww...thanks, Ma & Pa.” she said sweetly. “It’s great that you all could show up.”
“Likewise.” Igneous said.
“Well, we better go over to the Sparkles and make sure THEY get the payment for the reception we ordered.” Cloudy Quartz said as she and her husband trotted over to Twilight and Fluttershy’s families.
Limestone walked up to her. “Your parents must be so proud of you, Pinkie!” She said warmly. “Oh, and this cake came for you. Check it out.” The Pie sisters turned to see there was a multicoloured cake right in front of them.
“Huh?” Pinkie asked, still looking at the cake. “Now, who would deliver a cake to our wedding on such short notice?” Just then the cake rumbled, and two infant twins all popped out from the top, cheering her on. Pinkie was shocked as she instantly recognized those twins. “Pound and Pumpkin?!” She asked in sheer shock. “But if you’re there, then that means...” she then noticed a red button on the top of the cake. She hit the button and the cake opened to reveal a blue mare with pink hair, and a yellow stallion with an orange Mane.
Pinkie was further shocked. “Mr. & Mrs. Cake?!” She asked as the cakes came out and hugged her tightly.
“Oh, Pinkie.” Mrs. Cake said Excited. “We’re so proud of you, and you’re getting married!”
“You don’t know how happy that made us.” Mr. Cake said proud as well. “The twins are also happy for you.”
The twins were also excited as reached for Pinkie. “Missus Pinkie Pie!” They both said.
“Now because I know I’m about to be married...” she said. “...but even so, I want you to know you can still count on me as your go to babysitter.” She smiled as she hugged her Ponyville family. “I love you guys!” The cakes smiled really sweetly as they hugged her back. Just like the Cakes made her smile one day, Pinkie had given them back the most powerful smile of all!
Just then, she noticed a big button on the top of the cake. “I wonder how that was there?” She wondered. She hit the button, and out popped an orange stallion with a bubbly brown mane! “Hiya, Pinkie!” He said. “I can’t believe your finally getting married, I could just cry!”
Pinkie was shocked. “CHEESE SANDWICH?!” She asked.
“Yep, it’s me!” Cheese said. “Why would I miss your wedding for a special friend to a special somepony?” Pinkie excitedly hugged Cheese as hard as she could and broke the hug. “Now, we got a wedding to plan!” He and Pinkie got ready to finish up their last minute preparations.
Meanwhile, (back to Starlight) as Starlight was waiting to get everyone ready for the wedding, Sunburst came in and he was excited to see her. “Oh my gosh! Starlight!” Sunburst said as he went over to her and hugged her.
“I’m here too!” Trixie said as she hugged her friend also.
“Sunburst? Trixie?” Starlight asked. “I thought you guys were going antiquing.”
“Are you crazy?” Sunburst said nicely and sarcastically. “We couldn’t miss a minute of Twilight’s own wedding, would we?”
“Normally, I’d skip stuff like this...” Trixie started, deftly dodging angry glare from Starlight and Sunburst. “...but I wouldn’t miss Twilight’s wedding for all of Equestria!” Starlight smiled at that.
“Hey, Sugarplum!” A voice shouted. Starlight jumped in shock. “I can’t believe this is actually happening!” Starlight knew that voice and she instantly got nervous.
“Oh no...” she thought. “Not him!”
A purple stallion with a green mane and in nice clothes walked up to her excitedly and hugged her. He was Starlight’s dad, Firelight! “You are just as cutesy-wutesy as ever!” he said as he messaged his daughter’s cheeks.
“Dad! Quit it!” Starlight said, frustrated as she swatted her dad’s hooves away. “Why are you even here?!”
“Oh, just a father wanting to see his little pumpky-wumpkin’s big wedding!” Firelight said excitedly, which almost caught the attention of many ponies as some of them started to snicker.
Starlight’s face turned bright red when she heard her father say her little foal nickname. “Dad, you promised no "pumpky-wumpkin"'s in public!” she said flustered. “And I’m not getting married!”
Firelight got shocked. “You’re...You’re not?” He asked.
“No!” She told him. “My friend, Twilight AND her friends are getting married!”
“Ahem!” Rainbow said behind her to let her know that she wasn’t getting married either.
“Oh, right.” Starlight said sheepishly. “And she’s not getting married either.” Rainbow smiled.
“Sorry, chipmunk cheeks.” Firelight told her. “I didn’t know. Well, it’ll be great to see your friend getting married. It’ll be a night to remember.” He went in her face. “Maybe you might get married someday.”
“Starlight got frustrated as she slapped her dad’s hooves away. “Goddamnit!” She shouted. “No chipmunk cheeks either!”
Rainbow and Sunburst let out a stifled laughter as they just heard the nicknames that were given to her. “Pumpky-wumpkin?” She asked.
“Chipmunk Cheeks?” Trixie asked as let out a snicker. Starlight gave her a look. Trixie gulped. “Sorry.” She said quickly. “It really isn’t that funny.”
“That's exactly what I told him!” a voice said, making the others ears flicker up as they turned to see an orange unicorn mare with a burnt red mane and a pearl necklace and a nice blue dress before them. “I said, "Firelight, your daughter might get married someday!" She smiled sweetly at Starlight. She was Stellar Flare...Sunburst’s mother.
Sunburst was shocked. “Mom?” He asked.
“We’re excited that Princess Twilight is getting married and we thought pretty soon, Sunburst, you might have with Starlight what you two might have - a clear plan for the future.” She tried to snip his facial hair off, but her son dodged. “We’re just so proud of Twilight getting married, we just thought we’d come and watch.”
Both their kids blushed at that while Rainbow Dash snickered, dodging an angry look from Starlight as she just whistled. “Well, we’re pretty glad you’re here, Dad.” Starlight said. “It’s been a long time since we got together.”
“I know, right, Sugarplum?” Firelight asked. “We should get together more! Well, we’re going to see Celestia and Luna’s families.”
“We’re just so proud of you.” Stellar Flare said as she and Firelight went over to Galaxia and Cosmos. Rainbow snickered, but did the same thing as both Starlight and Sunburst did the same thing too.
Meanwhile, as Big Mac was getting ready for his big wedding to his own sister, he thought he saw a pink unicorn. He wheeled around and was shocked to see her...of all places. “Sugar Belle!” Big Mac said in shock.
Sugar Belle walked up to him and kissed him sweetly. “You’re here. I can't believe it.” He said shocked. She just giggled. “What happened? Why are you here? Are you mad at me?”
“Oh, no I’m not.” Sugar Belle said as she smiled. “I’m very happy that Applejack is joining our family, and I just needed to tell you...“ looking in his eyes, she took a deep breath. “...Congratulations!” Big Mac smiled as did Sugar as they hugged and The other could barely hold back her tears of joy.
Meanwhile, with Twilight and Fluttershy going over their parts of the wedding, The CMCs came up to her very excited. “Oh my gosh, Twilight!” Applebloom said in excitement. “I can’t believe your big wedding’s today!”
“I still say there's never been a wedding like it!” Sweetie Belle agreed.
“I'm just about the most excited anygriffon has ever been about anything!” Gabby agreed. “This must be a really special moment for you, Twilight!”
“I’d have to agree with Gabby!” Babs said. “I know it hasn't been that long since we've seen each other, but It felt like forever!“
Twilight blushed in excitement that the CMCs were also here to cheer her on. “Well, this is great, girls that you’re coming to see this.” She said. “I’m so happy that you all could come!”
Meanwhile with Rainbow Dash...
As she was getting everyone ready for the big wedding, somepony else would surprise her. “I know that this six time wedding is gonna be a huge occasion, but I’m gonna try to make sure everything goes well in working order.” Rainbow said both nervously and confident.
“Ooh! Then you'd better hurry.” Pinkie said as she caught up with her. “More ponies are coming!”
Rainbow was shocked. “What?!” She turned to see more ponies pile in the castle. “Who else kind would arrive and get ready for a wedding?”
“The real question is what kind of friend doesn't?” A voice said. Rainbow knew who it was as she turned to see him.
She gasped. “Quibble Pants? What are you doing here?”
“Rainbow Dash!” Quibble said, hugging her with all his might. “fancy meeting you here.“
“Fancy meeting me? I'm a reverend.” She told him. “Of course I'd be here. What's fancy is you being here.”
“There's nothing fancy or confusing about it.” Quibble told her. “I’m just so happy you’re here for this wedding!”
“Uh, Quibble? I’m not getting married” she told him. “It’s my friends that are getting married.”
“I guess only a real fan would understand that.” Quibble said, understanding.
Just then, Clear Sky and Wind Sprint came up and her pretty excited to see her. “Rainbow Dash!” Clear Sky shouted as she hugged her. “I can’t believe your friends are getting married...today!”
“I agree with my Mom, Rainbow Dash!” Wind Sprint said excitedly. “Whoa, this is the first wedding, I’ve ever been too as well!”
“Trust me.” Rainbow told them. “I KNOW that this wedding will turn out great just like me doing a sonic rainboom.”
She was about to perform her move, when Rarity screamed, interrupting the process altogether. “Aah! Nono, oh no! Don't you dare, Rainbow Dash!” she scolded her. “It sounds wretched enough already.“
Rainbow scoffed. “Oh come on, it's fine!”
“If you were raised in a barn!” Rarity spat back. “Ahem, no offense, Applejack.”
“None taken. Especially since I wasn't raised in a barn.” Applejack said, accepting the compliment. “My family just happens to have a barn. Where I was born. And... spent most of my formative years...” she started to feel guilty as she was saying that.
“You were Raised in a barn!” Rainbow quickly said, dodging an angry glare from the farm mare.
Just then, they heard a voice which made their skeletons jump. “Rainbow Dash!” The voice said. Rainbow turned to see Grandpa Gruff flying toward them.
“Grandpa Gruff?” She asked curiously. “What are you doing here?”
“ Flew all the way from Griffonstone to see your friends’ wedding!” He said to her. “Thought you'd be... cooler.” he jokingly said which made her gawk.
The door slammed open not 5 seconds later when a large Yak entered in. “Pink Pony!” he shouted excitedly as he was rushing to Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie instantly knew who that was as she ran over to him. “Prince Rutherford!” she said as she was wrapped in a huge tight hug she couldn’t breathe in.
“I come to pony wedding.” Prince Rutherford said happily. “Hah. Make it better.“
Pinkie giggled as Applejack came to her friend’s side. “Why don't I show you around to the audience chairs?” As she was guiding him, a blue dragon came in pulling on a green winged changeling with a chest pattern and orange antlers.
“But dragons and changelings are better than this!” Thorax told her. “Why are we even coming here?”
“Because as Dragon Lord, and your friend, I'm ordering you to be here!” Ember shouted at him, which made him cringe. She saw that Spike was here. “Hey, Spike!”
Spike turned to see Ember and Thorax here and went up to meet them. “Great to see you, Ember!” he told the blue dragon. “And you too, Thorax! I’m glad you guys could be here!”
“And We’re not ones to back out of an invitation.” Thorax told him. “I can't believe you did all this for your friends! Great banner! Love the stage!“
“Uh, yeah.” Spike said, then looking over his shoulder. “Uh, where’s Ocellus?” Thorax and Ember were both confused as they searched for her. Finally, they found her coming out to meet with the others.
“Ocellus!” Thorax shouted which made her turn into a rock. “What did we talk about?“ She went over to him. “I told you, stay in your own form. It's the polite thing to do.”
“Sorry, Thorax.” She apologized.
Just then, the doors swung open as a regal hippogriff-like pony entered and all bowed before her presence. Twilight was shocked. “Queen Novo!” She said frantically. “I’m so so sorry! I—“
Novo put a hoof to her mouth. “I know that...now, and I understand that you were trying to save your land and it wasn’t fair of me to scold you of such a thing like this.” She calmly told her as she smiled.
Twilight was stunned for a second. “You mean...”
“Yes.” Novo told her. “I do forgive you and the other leaders are really excited to come see your wedding!” She hugged Twilight gently, but not too hard. “Isn’t it wonderful?”
“Uh, yeah....”the violet alicorn said sheepishly.
Meanwhile, back on Fluttershy. The kind Pegasus was fretting about how she would mess up her vows and if she’d say the wrong name! She had worked up her way to confess her love to her during the hunt for the Andalusian stars and later to their friends...all leading up to this big moment. She was about to be wed to her lover, and she was starting to get nervous.
Luckily, someone came and surprised her. “Hello!” The voice said excitedly.
Fluttershy softly screamed and turned to see Dr. Fauna excited to see her. “Oh, Dr. Fauna, you scared me.” She told her.
“Oh, sorry.” She told her. “It's okay, Fluttershy. I know you confessed you love for Twilight and that day is finally here!” She hugged her real tight, letting her gasp for breath. “I’m so proud of you!” She said as she broke the hug.
“Awww....thanks, Dr. Fauna.” Fluttershy said sweetly. “ I was so worried about Twilight accepting my feeling for her, but now that we are finally in love AND getting married, I feel so comfortable, knowing that I’m gonna be with the one pony that will help me get through things think and thin for the rest of my life!”
Dr. Fauna smiled sweetly. “I know she will.” She said “You two going to be very happy together.” The kind Pegasus smiled, knowing that not matter what happened she and her now soon to be wife had things under control. Just then, she heard some arguing coming from a mile away.
“Excuse me.” She said. “I’d better see what’s going on.” Dr. Fauna nodded as she flew off to find the source of the argument.
Quibble Pants also heard the noice too and decided to figure out what was going on. “Hang on, Clear.” He told her. “I’ll go see what’s going on.”
“Okay, Q.” Clear Sky said smiling, just make sure you make it back in time for the wedding!”
“I will!” Quibble said as he left to find the argument, while Clear and Wind Sprint smiled with excitement, knowing that Rainbow Dash had this under control and that they couples would be very happy together. What could possibly go wrong?
Back to Twilight, Fluttershy, and Celestia and Luna’s families...they were still bickering with the Pies about the bill while Twilight was referring.
“There's nothing to discuss. We're not paying for your wine cellar.“ Twilight Velvet said sharply.
“You-you have to meet me in the middle here.” Igneous pleaded to the discomforted families.
“Hey, you keep pushing me on this, my foot’s going to meet the middle of your flank!” Mr. Shy said forcefully as King Cosmos got him ready in a fighting position.
Twilight came in and was shocked that they were already still fighting about the bill. “Dad!!“ she said, trying to calm them down,
“Oh my. What-what's going on?!“ Fluttershy asked worriedly as she joined in.
Discord popped into effect, seeing what the families were arguing about. “Nothing, nothing, my dear friends.” He told them quickly. “Everything's under control.”
“You want a piece of me, Night Light? Is that what you’re saying?” He asked pointing at Twilight’s father and poking him. “You want a piece of me?”
Quibble Pants saw the argument go full blown and has had enough about this bickering. He stepped in between the families and the pies, splitting them up. “Okay! Okay! That's it!!” He said, breaking it up. “Parents!! Parents!! Back away!! All right, this is Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Cadence’s wedding day! From now on everyone gets along, and if I hear one more word. NO GRANDCHILDREN!” Everypony was shocked as the last sentence Quibble said to them. He pointed to Cloudy Quartz. “That's right!!” They were all shocked that this argument almost spun out of control.
“Okay, okay.” Night Light and Mr. Shy both said.
“Sorry old boy, sorry. Sorry. Sorry.” Igneous said as he and the pies walked away to finish the preparations.
Twilight and Fluttershy were all shocked at how Quibble broke the argument up, as he came over to them and said “you’re welcome.” As he went over to the audience.
Fluttershy was utterly shocked about what had just happened. “What was all that about?” she asked with fear in her voice.
Twilight sighed. “It was...This disagreement over...” she took notice of how her lover looked in her wedding dress and was amazed at the sight of it. “My god. You...you look beautiful.” she finally said.
Fluttershy giggled and looked at her dress and realized something. “Oh! You were not meant to see me before the wedding.” She said in shock. “It's bad luck.”
“You know what?” Twilight said as she walked up to her lover. “I think we've had all the bad luck we're going to have.“ she hugged Fluttershy and embraced the most passionate kiss they ever had.
Fluttershy smiled at her for such a long time since her lover woke up in be with her. “How could I betray the perfect lover?”
Twilight smiled. “I don’t know.” She started to say. Just then, the trumpets started to go off. “The wedding! It’s about to start!” She and her lover along with the other couples got ready to go in the filed orders of the row while their friends got ready to sit in the auditorium seats to watch their friends celebrate this one special moment.
The wedding march begins with the tune, “Here comes the Bride”, as Twilight and Fluttershy were the first to enter, followed by Celestia, Luna and Discord, Applejack and Big Macintosh, Pinkie Pie and Zecora, and Rarity and Cadence. Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack were in gorgeous wedding gowns, while Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Zecora, Big Mac, & Cadence Were in a nice wedding dress adorned with the cosmic Andalusian star on each of their dresses. Discord himself, was in a nice, well made groom outfit.
As Spike and Starlight followed them, Spike broke the silence. “What we did last night was....”
“Stupid.” Starlight finished.
“Totally crazy stupid.” Spike agreed.
“What were we thinking?” Starlight jokingly asked.
“I'm coming over tonight though, right?” Spike asked his friend.
Starlight smiled sweetly. “Oh yeah.” She said confidently. “Definitely.“
As the brides/grooms stood beside the grooms/brides Rainbow Dash arrived at her podium, and looked at her friends and smiled sweetly. She couldn’t have been more proud of them. She made her speech. “Mares and gentlecolts...” she said. “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today we will witness the unity of love between Fluttershy, Princesses Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Zecora and Big Macintosh to my best friends...Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Discord, Rarity and Princess Twilight Sparkle! The unity between these creatures that truly love each other with all their heart!“
Twilight, and Fluttershy’s friends and families were watching them and they were so happy. They couldn’t have been more proud for this moment. Spike brought the wedding rings over to Rainbow Dash’s side.
At last, it was time to proclaim their love as a married couple. Rainbow turned to Fluttershy. “Now Fluttershy, repeat after me.” She said. Fluttershy nodded. “I, Fluttershy...”
“As my lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, till death parts us.” Rainbow Dash finished.
“As my lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, until death parts us.” Fluttershy repeated.
Rainbow turned to Twilight. “Now Twilight, repeat after me.“ Twilight nodded. “I Twilight...”
“I Twilight...” the Princess started.
“Take thee, Fluttershy...” Rainbow Dash said.
“Take thee, Starlight....” she stopped herself as everyone was now shocked at what she just said. Eyes widened, and wings flared up! “...Fluttershy!” She said quickly. “Fluttershy!” Her lover giggled, knowing that it was just a mistake and that everyone makes mistakes sometimes.
Rainbow, feeling a little awkward asked “Uhh...Shall I go on?”
“Yes, yes, do go on.” Twilight told her.
Quibble Pants, who was watching the accident unfold but just get fixed whispered to Windrider. “Great save.”
“I know!” Windrider whispered back. “I thought it was just going to be like that FRIENDS episode where Ross says Rachel.”
“Ssshhhhh.” Clear Sky said, pointing to the couples. “The wedding’s going on.”
“Oh sorry.” They both whispered.
“So, pay attention.” Stormy Flare said pointing to the couples calm, but strict. They did so.
“Okay!” The wonderbolt looked at the book and realized and realized it was way too long and decided to take a different approach. She turned to Twilight. “Do you, Princess Twilight Take Fluttershy to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do.” She said.
“And do you, Fluttershy take Twilight to be your lawfully wedded wife?” Rainbow asked.
She smiled confidently. “I do.” She said.
Rainbow then turned to Celestia, Luna and Discord. “Do you, Princesses Celestia and Luna take Discord to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
“We do, Rainbow Dash.” Celestia said with Luna nodding in agreement.
“And do you, Discord take Celestia and Luna to be your lawfully wedded wives?” Rainbow asked.
He smiled. “I do.” He said.
Rainbow then turned to Applejack and her brother. “Do you, Applejack take Big Macintosh to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
Applejack nodded. “I do.”
“And do you, Big Macintosh take Applejack to be your lawfully wedded wife?” She asked.
“Eeyup.” Big Mac said happily.
She turned to Pinkie and Zecora. “Do you, Pinkamena Diane Pie Take Zecora to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
Pinkie smiled. “I do.”
“And do you, Zecora take Pinkie to be your lawfully wedded wife?” Rainbow asked.
“I do, my little chickaboo.” Zecora said.
She finally turned to Cadence and Rarity. “Do you, Lady Rarity Take Princess Cadence to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
Rarity smiled as tears of joy swelled up in her, “I do, Darling.” She said.
“And do you, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza Take Rarity to be your lawfully wedded wife?” Rainbow asked.
“Yes, I do.” Cadence said.
““Then, B-by the power vested in m-me...” Rainbow’s voice is shaky and shuddery as she struggles to stop herself from openly crying at the beauty of the couple’s love and union. “I now p-pronounce you… Husbands and wives.” she drew a handkerchief from her pocket, using it to wipe her tears away. “You may now kiss the bride!” She said in an Irish accent. As Spike placed the rings on each of the couples horns and hoofs.
The guests went ballistic. Everyone smiled, tears trickling down their cheeks like liquid pride. All of the Main Six’s friends cheered. To Some of the princesses surprise, a few of the nobles were actually smiling.. With that, Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Zecora, & Big Macintosh wrapped their arm around their lovers necks and and kissed them like they’d never kissed before.
Twilight started to get nervous again, but Fluttershy reassured her. “Just keep smiling.”
Twilight nodded. “Okay.” as she and her new wife trotted down the aisle towards a waiting carriage with the other new married couples following them. Rice showered on the new couples like rain. To their amusement, both the guards harnessed to the carriage were crying tears of joy.
As they were walking, Twilight asked “That uh, that was pretty funny. Wasn't it?” Fluttershy responded by giving her a playful punch in the gut, which made Twilight groan in pain.
“Oh. So so sorry, Twilight.” Fluttershy confessed. “I didn’t mean to do that. After all, it was just an accident, wasn’t it?” She smiled at her new wife.
Twilight smiled too, knowing that it was just a simple mistake with a quick fix and that it was absolutely nothing to worry about. “Yes, it was.”
“So.” Twilight said as she helped her new wife into the carriage. She nuzzled her playfully, “Now what?”
“Well, what do we have planned?”
“Well, first there’s the reception. Then there’s that party Pinkie’s throwing. We wouldn’t want to miss that.”
Twilight gave Fluttershy a kiss. “Then after that, well...we’ll go from there”
The kind Pegasus slipped her tongue into her mouth as Twilight felt as though This day had been perfect.
The reception was in full swing as the married couples arrived along with their friends who were ready to have a good time! “Alright!” Rainbow said. “Let’s get ready to par-Tay!” She got pulled by Applejack.
“Now, don’t get too excited, Sugarcube.” The farm mare reminded her. “We gotta wait for the big moment for Twilight and Fluttershy’s dance.”
Rainbow blushed. “Okay.”
Silverstream turned to the others. “Hey, no matter what happens, we still get cake right?” She asked. They all rolled their eyes and nodded in agreement. The hippogriff smiled In pure excitement.
Twilight’s dad, Night Light came in. “Boy, almost said the wrong mare’s name, Twilight?” He asked as he playfully nudged her.
His daughter blushed. “Yeah, dad. You don’t need to rub it in!”
“Oh sorry.” Night Light Blushed.
Meanwhile, Spike and Starlight were hanging by the buffet as the mare walked up to the dragon. “Hey.” Spike said. Starlight said the same thing back.
“Oh wow, I hope you don't take this the wrong way but, I know we had plans to meet up tonight and, ugh, I'm just kinda worried about what it might do to our friendship.” The drake said nervously.
“I know. How could we have let this happen?” Starlight asked.
“Seven times!” Spike pointed out.
“Ugh!” The lavender unicorn groaned. “Well, y'know, we were away...“
“In a foreign, romantic country...” Spike finished.
“I blame the Crystal Empire.” Starlight said sarcastically.
“Bad Crystal Empire!” Spike said sarcastically As he grabbed a spoon and banged it against a piece of turkey.
“So look umm, while we're st-still in the Crystal Empire, I mean, we can keep doing it right?“ Starlight sheepishly asked.
“Well, I don't see that we have a choice.” Spike bluntly told her. “But, when we're back home, we don't do it.”
“Only here.” Rainbow agreed while the others nodded.
“Guys, Y'know, I saw a wine cellar downstairs...“ Gallus came to tell them.
“Great!” Starlight said in excitement. “We’ll meet you there in two minutes.”
“Okay!” Gallus said as he started off for the cellar.
Meanwhile, with the Pies and the families of the married couples worried about if they had settled the disputes well or if they had taken it too far.
“Cosmos, is it all our fault?” Galaxia asked. “Were the pies bad parents?“
“Yes. well, I think so.” Night Light said which made the royal sisters parents blush.
Just then, Windrider came by eating steak with his hooves. “Hey, what's up?” he asked the parents.
“Not much. Not much at all.” Mrs. Shy said, feeling regret from the last argument.
Windrider turned to Stormy Flare. “You and me, next dance?” he asked her.
“Yes, definitely, my love.” She said as she and her soon to be husband danced gracefully together in the ballroom.
Spitfire was totally disgusted by this upon seeing an ex wonderbolt and her mother dancing together like they were a married couple. “I can’t believe they’d let themselves go like that.” She said discomfortedly.
Back to Spike and Starlight and Rainbow as they were waiting to go in the wine cellar. Gallus came back up to them. “Where were you?” Rainbow asked impatiently. “We were supposed to meet in the wine cellar!”
“Forget it, that's off.” he said disappointed.
“Why?!” Starlight, Spike and Rainbow all said in unison.
“The next tour of the wine cellar will plan in two in-in minutes...” Igneous said, coming up to them a little drunk.
Starlight facehoofed. “Oooohhhh!” They then noticed Sandbar coming up to them eating a plateful of meat. “Sandbar, what are you doing?” Starlight asked. “You promised Yona you wouldn't eat meat until the fetelock fete!”
“Well, I figured we're in another territory, so it doesn't count.” He said weakly. Nevertheless, they bought the excuse.
“That's true.” Rainbow pointed out in agreement.
“The man's got a point.“ Spike said as the group all had a chance to share a good laugh at that moment.
“Twi, hey, the band's ready outside for your first dance with Fluttershy, so...” Soarin said to Twilight.
“Oh! Oh-oh, the band's ready!” Twilight said nervously and excited.
“Well, I-I-we gotta do what the band says-I don't care about the stupid band!!” Smolder said sarcastically and then angrily which made everyone jump back due to her recent attitude change.
“You spit on me man!” Gallus said jokingly as he wiped the spit off him.
“Look, I'm sorry.” Smolder apologized.
“And where is Fluttershy?“ Twilight asked nervously.
“Fluttershy's detained getting ready to dance with you, darling.” Rarity said, reassuringly. “She’ll be along.”
Just then, the door opened and Scootaloo’s aunt Holiday and Lofty came in. “Hi, Slugger!” Lofty said, ruffling the Young filly’s mane.
“Aunt Holiday! Auntie Lofty!” Scootaloo said in excitement as she hugged them.
“Sorry, we couldn’t make it for the wedding.” Holiday said. “I guess we got the invite late.”
“She knows, Holiday.“ Lofty said reassuringly. “Now, let’s get ready to party!”
They all nodded and shouted in excitement as they started to dance the night away. Twilight was still a little nervous that Fluttershy still wasn’t here and that she would ditch the wedding. Finally, the door swung open, revealing Fluttershy in a nice gourgeous white wedding gown that you ever did see.
Twilight herself was taken aback by what she was wearing and looked at her from head to toe upon seeing the dress she was in. Finally, she said something. “Why, Fluttershy...you look beautiful!”
Fluttershy blushed. “Awww....thank you!” She walked over to Twilight and carefully grappled her neckline to her gown. “Now I believe somepony has a dance to attend to?” Twilight nodded and the two made their way to the dance floor where they dance gracefully.
Nearby, Celestia, Luna and Discord took notice of the two dancing and decided to join in. “Goodness, Twilight. That dance does sound like fun!” Luna said.
Twilight blushed. “Thank you.”
“May we also join in?” Celestia asked. Twilight nodded as the regal triple couple joined in the dance.
Pinkie and Zecora took notice of the dance and decided to join in. “Hey, Zecora?” She asked. “Wanna hit the dance floor?” Zecora nodded excitedly as Pinkie swept her to the dance floor to dance.
Applejack saw the couples that were dancing and smiled. “Hey, Big Mac! Wanna dance?” She asked her brother.
He nodded “Eeyup.” And with that, Applejack got up on her brother’s feet hooves. “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! What are you doing there sis?” He asked.
“Dancing on your feet! Like the other girls did it.” Applejack replied seductively.
“Okay.” He swallowed hard as AJ danced on his feet, making him hard to move his own feet.
Just then, a Kirin arrrived and landed on the dance floor. “Hey, Everypony!” She said. “Who’s ready to party hard!”
Everyone took notice and saw the pony who said that. “Autumn?!”
“Autumn Blaze!” Applejack said in excitement. “Glad y’all could be here!”
“Me too! Especially since it’s my first wedding reception that I’ve ever been to!” Autumn said, which made the farm mare surprised. She turned to see the CMCs here. “Ah, Cutie Mark Crusaders!” She said. “Would you like to dance with me?”
“Would we ever!” Sweetie Belle said in excitement, as she danced with Autumn on her feet, then Applebloom, then, Scootaloo, then Babs, then Cozy and then Gabby.
Rainbow Dash nearby noticed Applesauce and the other Golden Horshoe Gals dancing. She got really nervous and tried to stop it before it spun out of control. “Uh, that's probably enough dancing for now! Right, Apple Rose?”
“Oh, that was just our warm-up.” Apple Rose said as they let their hair up in wild excitement. Rainbow was especially wowed by this! “Wow!” She said in sheer amazement.
Just then, the door swung open and a rugged brown stallion with a hairline similar to Scootaloo’s landed, making a dramatic entrance. “What a night.” The stallion said. “At least we made it to the...huh?” He and another tan blonde maned mare looked around to see that the reception was in full swing. “Aw, what, we missed the wedding?”
“Ugh! Unbelievable!” Mane Allgood groaned. “What’s even going on?”
Scootaloo beamed. “Mom! Dad!” She ran over to hug her parents.
“Scoot!” Her parents said as they hugged her back. “Sorry to make such an entrance. We couldn't wait another moment to see Scootaloo! I hope we didn't interrupt anything.“
Everyone else nodded. “Good!” Pinkie Pie said in excitement. “Let’s party!” And everyone started dancing again.
Just then, Celebration by Kool & the Gang was playing and Fluttershy squealed instantly when she heard that tune. She rushed over to Twilight. “Ohh come on, I love this song! Come on, you’ll be fine.” she started to guide her wife toward the dance floor.
“No. No, I won’t.” Twilight said as she started to slip on the floor due to her hooves. “Do you know why I took all those lessons? See, for the first time I didn’t want you to be embarrassed to be seen on the dance floor with some clumsy idiot.“
“Oh sweetie, you can never embarrass me.” Fluttershy told her sweetly. “Okay, you can easily embarrass me. But come on, it doesn’t matter. All right? I married you! No matter what you do, I'm going home with you, Ok.” Twilight nodded. “So I want to dance on my wedding night with my wife!” Everyone else cheered and she and Twilight busted out the moves to dance!
“Come on.” she said reassuringly to her wife. “Just try not to move your feet at all. There you go.“ Twilight started to bust a move and then, she was dancing like crazy!
Just then, Snap Shutter came dancing right by her. “Twilight, I’m gonna have you arrested.” He said jokingly.
Twilight was shocked. “Why?”
“You stole my moves.” he said and danced how Twilight was dancing, but then stopped and started back up again.
“Wow, Twilight! you’re quite the dancer.” Mane Allgood said as she danced to Twilight.
“Thanks Mrs. Allgood.” Twilight said as she blushed.
“Oh c'mon.” Mane teased her. “You can call me mane.”
“Really?” She nodded. “I will.” She started to dance wildly, but suddenly, her legs split apart. “Uh-oh!”
“What's the matter?” Mane asked. Twilight fell backwards, onto Mane, revealing her sexy undergarment and suspenders.
Twilight blushed beet red. “Sorry, Mane.” she confessed.
Later on, Pinkie was helping Autumn Blaze move her feet after the CMCs stepped on her feet to dance with Rarity and Cadence both looking concerned about how the Kirin was walking.
“Is that your new walk, Darling?” Rarity asked her.
“No...”she said weakly, due to the pain in her feet. “The CMCs dancing really gave a number on my feet.”
“Well, I can help you with that.” Cadence said as she fired a healing spell at the Kirin’s feet, which made her feet mobile.
Autumn checked and saw that she could move her feet again. “Wow!” She said in excitement. “Thanks, Cadence!”
“Anytime!” Cadence said, smiling with delight.
“I just didn’t see the fast song coming.” Fluttershy said happily as she and her new wife came from having the best dance of their lives.
“It’s alright, Flutters.” Twilight told her. “At least now, we get to start our new life as a married couple!” This made Fluttershy beam in excitement.
“Oh, thank you.” Fluttershy said back.
Just then, they heard an announcement on the loudspeaker! “Thank you very much! Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you for the very first time, Twilight and Fluttershy Sparkle!”
Fluttershy was excited! “Oh, that’s us!” She said as she took Twilight over to the dance floor. As they made it to the dance floor, Pinkie Pie whispered to DJ PON 3 to play the most romantic song possible for their wedding. The DJ nodded and played “(I’ve had) The Time Of My Life” and the dance was theirs!
Fluttershy out her arm around Twilight’s and spun her a little bit and they danced like Patrick Swayze and Baby would. They even spun themselves in a little circle every now and then, and then the grand finale came! Twilight picked her wife up and put her down While everyone cheered. Everyone was excited that they joined in the dance.
Celestia and Luna were intrigued that they decided to join in too! “Come on, Dissy!” Celestia said. “We can do that!”
“We can?” Discord asked nervously, and the two princesses took their husband and danced like never before! The dance went in for many moments until finally, it stopped. But, it was the best dance ever! One that nopony or creature would forget.
“Oh, thank you, Fluttershy!” Twilight said happily as she kissed her wife. “I love you!”
“I love you too, Twilight Sparkle!” Fluttershy said as they embraced the kiss.
“That is so sweet!” Rarity said as soon as the married couple turned to see her. “There are so few genuinely nice ponies out there.”
“Tell us about it, We feel like We’re holding down the fort all by ourselves.” Twilight said smiling.
“Wait a minute! No! I’m the nice one!” Rainbow protested. “I’m the one who helped dance with the kids all night! How…How small are your feet?!” They all looked down at her feet and giggled. Rainbow smiled because she knew she had the guts to get this whole six time wedding in order and together, and she did!
A few hours later, everyone said their goodbyes and left while the married couples were the only ones left inside the reception house. They were so happy that they were finally married and that they could spend the rest of their lives in love, and maybe even hang out with each other more!
“That is so sweet!” a voice said. They all turned to see that it was...
“DARING DO?!” They all shouted in shock.
“Yep. It’s me!” She said. “Sorry that I couldn’t make it. I was just facing off Alizothl while trying to protect the Aqua Gem and after that, I decided to make my next book!” She showed them her newest book: Daring Do: and the Aqua Gem! “And guess who just got an advance copy?”
She looked at Rainbow Dash who was so excited about this new series that she jumped for joy! “Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh”
Daring smiled. “See? I knew you’d like it! Now, I gotta go fight off some new monsters before I write more new books!” She opened the door and made the dramatic leave. “See you later!”
Rainbow ran to the door and was excited that she shown up for a Iittle present! “Thank you, Daring!” She shouted in excitement. She finally got a copy of the new book from her idol! What could possibly spoil her one moment of happiness.
“Well, I know we all had the best six time wedding!” Twilight told everybody who all smiled at her. “But, I gotta hand it’s to Fluttershy and Discord since they were the ones who made it happen!” Fluttershy and Discord blushed in excitement. “Obviously, we may have some bumps in the road, but no matter what happens, we’ll get through it...together!” Everyone cheered at the normal/possesssed princess of Friendship’s brave statement.
Just then, Rainbow realized something as she flew over to Twilight and Fluttershy. “Hey Egghead.” She said. “This probably isn't the best time to bring it up, but now you gotta wait for your kids to be born.” Unfortunately, Everypony heard what she said and were shocked As their eyes widened, and wings sprung up about the fact that their kids were going to be born any moment soon. At that moment, Rainbow giggled in embarrassment while dodging an angry glare from Applejack.
