After a tragic accident with a couple parents, a young boy and his baby sister try to run away, and nearly get severely hurt. But it was up to one pony to make a tough decision when the two human children came to Equestria.
Cody McFly, a kid in Detroit, Michigan, gets a surprise that his parents have been killed by a criminal, and by order of the state, he and his newly born baby sister, Flora, are forced to be separated. But they nearly ran over, but they got badly hurt when dodging that car. But the pain he and his sister received was nearly severe. Cody and his sister were sent to Equestria, but the shift and change of their bodies made the pain on both of them more severe. The Element of Generosity, Rarity, found them and took them to the hospital, and but the severe pain the baby received was killing her. So, thanks to some help from Twilight Sparkle, and the permission of Cody, there was a way for Flora to live.
I couldn't believe what has happened. This has got to be the worse news I have received. Right. Introductions. My name is Cody. Cody McFly. No relation with Marty McFly from the "Back to the Future" movies, because those are work of fictions. I'm ten years old, and my mom recently gave birth to my little sister about a month ago.
I live in Detroit, Michigan, although, it might all change. My mom and dad went out on a date, and we were left with Mrs. Cartwright, the sweetest babysitter in Detroit. Sure, she was 70 years old, but she means well. My baby sister, Flora, was a pain at first, but I was taught that you shouldn't get jealous that I wasn't getting any attention from my parents when Flora was born. Basically, I was told that one day, my parents wouldn't be around and my sister would be the only one I have left in the family. I just didn't know that day would be today.
Last night, my parents went out on a date night, but they were killed by a gang of criminals. The criminals were taken in, but mom and dad didn't make it. Mrs. Cartwright watched us until some people from Social Services came to get us. But when I heard that they were planning to split us up, I couldn't let that happen. One of the people there tried taking Flora out of my hands when I refused to let that choice happen. So, I ran, taking Flora with me.
Whenever I got a little upset, I always came to Grand Circus Park to think things over so I can calm down. But, right now, Flora and I had nowhere to go after this. The people from Social Services were going to split the two of us up. I literally ran from my home to the park, not caring about all the terrible things happening around me.
I was almost there, and I came across a crosswalk there, and I was nearly there, but there was a drag race going on, and Flora and I were nearly hit. I jumped out of the way, causing me and Flora to get hurt.
I gasped and said, "Flora, I'm sorry. Ow." I scraped my right arm, and twisted my left ankle. I checked the damage to my sister, and saw that a spot on her chest was bulging and turned purple. That wasn't a good place for a broken bone to be, since it was above the heart and lung. I limped my way into the park, and sat next to a tree. Flora was the family I had left. I didn't want to lose her.
I looked up towards the sky, and prayed to god to spare my sister's life, and I also prayed that we should stay together. I already lost most of my family. I didn't want to lose the last one of my family I have left.
"You poor child," came a mysterious voice. I looked around me and saw no one there. I was confused and scared, I held my sister tighter, making her cry out in pain.
"Oh my god," I said. "Flora, I'm sorry." I then called out, "Who's out there?!"
"Don't you worry about that," said the mysterious voice. I had no idea where that voice was coming from. "All you need to know is that I can help you out with your predicament."
"Are you with Social Services?" I asked. "Because no way you're going to split up me and my sister. We must stay together."
"Oh, don't fret about that, little boy," said the mysterious voice. "I'll make sure that the two of you will not be separated. I shall take you two somewhere and I'll make sure that you two won't be separated."
Then a huge flash of light emitted around us, and my sister and I were transported somewhere. I blacked out.
I woke up, and I was somewhere completely different. I looked around and saw I was in a park somewhere completely different. I decided to push myself off the ground, but I lost balance for some reason.
I was confused at first, but then I decided to look at my left hand, only to become a lot more confused. Instead of a hand, I saw a hoof. A white hoof. I turned around and saw that I've turned into a little horse of some kind. I had a tail that matched my strawberry blonde hair. And then I looked and saw a basket with a baby horse inside it. I was wondering about that, but on the outside of the basket, there was a note. The note read:
"Well, I might have caused a little accident when making the change to you and your sister. The shift and change to her made the little problem she had a little... more... dreadful. That broken rib has pierced through her left lung. I'm not sure that I can fix this. Although, I am sending someone to pick you two up, and take you to the hospital. Hold tight."
I was confused by that, and I looked around. I then heard the sounds of hooves trotting. My baby sister cried in pain, and I looked at her. She became a light purple pony with her natural strawberry blonde hair. And also, she had a unicorn horn on her forehead. I then looked up at my forehead and saw a horn coming out of there. But then I payed attention to my sister, crying out in pain. I couldn't do anything to help her. All I had to do is one thing. Cry out for help.
"HELP!! Someone help!!"
I heard those hoofsteps coming towards me. I looked over and saw a grown up unicorn running towards me and my sister. She was white with a curly purple mane and tail, and had a mark on her flanks of three blue diamonds.
"Goodness gracious!" she said. "When I heard that something tragic happened, I rushed right over here."
"Please!" I said. "Help my sister! She's all I have left of my family!"
"Oh, right," she said. But then, her horn started glowing in a light blue aura, and that same aura surrounded me, and I was placed on her back. She then used that same aura, and picked up the basket my sister was in. "Hold on tight, darling." She then started running, taking me and ran off somewhere.
When she stopped running, we came towards a hospital. Inside, there were six other grown up horses, and two young horses waiting for us. The grown up horses were made up with two normal, two with wings, one with a horn, and one with both. And the young horses, one was a boy with wings, and the other was a girl, and had no extra parts.
"Thank goodness you made it, Rarity," said the winged unicorn. She was purple with a dark blue mane with two stripes in her hair. One purple and one pink. "Is this them?"
"I believe so," said the unicorn that brought me and my sister in. "Although, I think that there's trouble happening with the baby."
The other unicorn, who had a coat of purple that was a few shades lighter than the winged unicorn, walked over to my sister, and a light blue aura surrounded her horn, and a light came down from it, and she gasped. "That's not good. This baby has a broken rib, and it's piercing through it's lung."
That made the others gasp. Then a hospital gurney come towards us. That light purple unicorn took my sister out of the basket, and put her into the gurney. Then the horses took my sister away. I got off the white unicorn's back, and tried following her, but I didn't know how to walk on four legs. I was a little off balanced. But, the two young horses walked up to me.
"It's okay," said the teal blue one. "We weren't used to walking like a pony to begin with."
"I guess that makes..." I then stopped what I was saying and realized, "Wait a minute. We're ponies? And wait another second. What do you mean, weren't used to walking like a pony?"
"We were born human, too," said the pink one. "Except, I was born a boy."
"Seriously?" I asked.
"Yep," said the blue one. "I'm Danny. And that's Alex."
"We weren't born here, but these ponies have been good to us," said Alex. "The purple alicorn is Princess Twilight Sparkle, the pony you came in with is Rarity. The yellow pegasus is Fluttershy. The orange Earth Pony is Applejack. The Rainbow maned pegasus is Danny's adopted mother, Rainbow Dash. The pink one is my adopted mother, Pinkie Pie. And that other unicorn. That's Starlight Glimmer."
"Pleased to meet you all," I said. "But, right now, I have to get to my sister. She's all I have left of my family. We have to stay together."
The seven grown up ponies looked at each other, and they nodded. Then the white pony known as Rarity picked me up with that weird glow she used, and then all of them, taking me with them, followed the doctors to where they took my sister to.
I was so worried about my baby sister. She needed me and I needed her. No way I wanted my sister to die. We all came to the room where the doctors were checking my sister's injuries. During the time, I got to know about the ponies. Twilight Sparkle was one of the newest princesses of this land known as Equestria. Starlight Glimmer was a former villain that is learning the true meaning of friendship. Fluttershy was a pony that loves taking care of animals that are need of help. Applejack works on an apple farm, and also lives there. Rainbow Dash is a pegasus that loves speed, and was put into a team of stunt performers called the Wonderbolts. And Pinkie Pie likes planning parties. A lot. I wonder how Alex was able to put up with her for as long as she was here.
But now, I needed to focus on my sister. She was all the family I had left. But one of the doctors came out, walked over to me and said, "I'm sorry, little colt. But, there's no way we can save your sister. She'll be lucky to survive for the next couple hours."
I gasped. I then shouted, "NO!!" I then tried running into the room, but I was pulled back by my new tail. I turned around and saw Applejack clamping her teeth on my tail
"Hold it there, sugarcube," she said with a mouth full of tail. Rarity then grabbed me, and held my tight.
"I'm sorry, young Cody," said Rarity. "But there is nothing we can do." I then grabbed her and started crying into her chest. I couldn't believe it. My little sister, who just was born a month ago, was dying. Then we all heard the sounds of hoofsteps coming towards us. We looked over and saw two more alicorns coming towards us. One was white and the other was blue. Both of them had a mane that was moving in a non-existent breeze.
"Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!" said Twilight.
"We came here as soon as we could," said the white alicorn. She then looked at me with a sorrowful look and said, "I feel sorry for your predicament. And I'm sorry that there is nothing we can do for your sister."
I then looked back at the room my baby sister was in. I was crying. I said, "My mom went nine months of pregnancy to have her. Only to lose her a month after she was born."
I couldn't believe I was losing her. She was my only family I had left. But then I heard Starlight Glimmer say something.
"I believe that there might be a way to save young Cody's sister. But... I think that the only way to save her... is for her to be reborn. Literally."
"R-reborn?" I asked. I looked at her. Then I heard the other alicorn speak.
"It could be possible," said Princess Luna. "But, somepony has to volunteer to be able to take care of both her and this young colt. Who would be able to take care of both of them, and prepare for the stages of pregnancy?"
"Not me," said Rainbow Dash. "Since both of them are unicorns, I think it should be somepony else." Then she looked at Danny. And then over at Alex. "I think that the pony who should take care of them both should be a unicorn. Think about it. Danny came here as a pegasus, and I'm taking care of him. And then there's Alex. She's an Earth Pony, and she has Pinkie Pie as a mom."
"That's true!" said Pinkie Pie.
"Guess that makes sense," said Applejack. "Somepony has to teach 'em how to use their unicorn magic."
"I guess that's true," said Starlight. "But, I might not be the best one to raise them both. Besides. I don't have the best track record."
"So, who will be able to take care of me and Flora?" I asked.
"Either Twilight or Rarity," said Princess Celestia. "It's your choice, young one. Twilight Sparkle was my best student, and she is able to help out with anything. And Rarity, she is very generous, and can help out whenever you are in need of something. Although, she might need some more rooms in her home. I would be glad to pay for the construction on the rooms for her."
"You would do that?" Rarity asked.
"Of course," said Princess Celestia. She then looked at me and said, "It's your choice."
I then looked at the two of them. I thought about it. Twilight Sparkle is a good pony, but she might lecture me a lot on how to do things. Then I looked at Rarity. She smiled at me. The look at her reminded me of Mom. It was something about those eyes. So, I clumsily, walked over to Rarity. I looked up at her and said, "Please."
Rarity smiled at me and said, "I'll try my best."
I hugged her tightly. She hugged me back. Then Starlight walked up to her and said, "I'll prepare the spell."
"No need," said the white alicorn. "I shall be the one to cast the spell. Follow me, Rarity."
Rarity put me down, and followed her into the room. Then we watched the white alicorn use some energy from her horn, making my sister vanish out of the bed she was in. Then Rarity felt something happen in her stomach. I then walked in and asked, "Is it done?"
"Yes," said the white alicorn. "Your sister shall be reborn. It'll just take time for it to happen."
"How long?" I asked.
"Well, it'll take as long as a normal pony pregnancy to do so," said the white alicorn. "It's going to take eleven months for your sister to be reborn."
"Eleven months?" I asked. "That's two months longer than when my little sister was born normally."
"That was when you were human, I'm afraid," said the white alicorn.
Rarity then grabbed me and said, "It'll be alright, darling. I know, it might be tough, but we'll make it through this. I promise."
I then hugged her, and she hugged me. I then said, "She's all I have left of my family."
"Well, I suppose that the two of you shouldn't be split apart," said Rarity. "Let me take you to my place." She then used that energy and picked me up, and she put me on her back. She then walked out of the hospital, taking me with her.
(Rarity's Point of View)
I had just walked all the way home with Cody on my back. We came in and saw Sweetie Belle was sitting by a table, drawing. She then noticed me coming in. She was about to come over to hug me, but was paused when she saw Cody on my back.
"Rarity... who is that?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"Sweetie Belle," I said, "I would like you to meet Cody. Just like Danny and Alex, he was born human. But he did keep his gender." She then came up to us and she looked up at Cody. I then introduced her to Cody. "Cody, this is my dear, sweet little sister, Sweetie Belle."
"Nice to meet you," said Sweetie Belle. She then looked at me and asked, "Why is he here?"
"Cody has been sent here due to a... grave misfortune with his parents," I told her. "And I have to take care of him and his sister."
"He has a sister?!" asked Sweetie Belle. She then looked around. "Where is she?"
I looked back at Cody, and he frowned, bowing his head. I turned my head back towards Sweetie Belle and I then said, "His sister... she has to be... reborn. And... well..."
Sweetie Belle looked at me with wide eyes and said, "A magical pregnancy?! Is that even possible?!"
"It is, I'm afraid," I told her. "And now, I have to be the one to give birth to her. Right now, she's just a few cells in my stomach. It'll be a while for her to be reborn."
"Oh, my," said Sweetie Belle. "So, is he going to stay here with us?"
"I'm afraid so," I told her. "But, they're going to be a lot of changes. Princess Celestia is going to send some construction workers here to make a couple more rooms upstairs. One fore Cody, and one for his little sister." I then looked towards him and asked, "What was your sister's name?"
"Flora," said Cody.
"Flora?" I asked. "That is a beautiful name." I then carried Cody over to the couch, and I put him down on it. "I'm going to get some bedding for you to sleep on the couch for the next few days."
"Okay," Cody said. He then leaned on the back.
I looked towards my sister and said, "Sweetie Belle, would you mind keeping Cody company?"
"Okay," she said. She then walked over to the young colt. She got on the couch and sat next to him. Meanwhile, I headed upstairs to get Cody a pillow and blanket for him to sleep on the couch.
(Cody's Point of View)
I sat on the couch as humanly as I could. It's kinda weird being in a body like this. I wonder how Danny and Alex are able to adjust to being ponies.
Coming up to my right was Sweetie Belle and she asked, "Are you nervous?"
"A little," I said. I then looked towards her and said, "I don't know how kids like Alex and Danny were able to get used to this place. Was it true that Alex was originally a boy?"
"Yep," she said, answering my question. "Although, she was having trouble adjusting. Her mind was starting to think girl thoughts, overwriting her original boy thoughts. She was scared."
"I would be two if my mind went where she was going," I said. I then sighed. "I just wish my parents weren't involved in that incident."
"What happened to your parents?" Sweetie Belle asked me.
"My parents were killed by a robber," I said. "But when Social Services went to pick me and my sister up, they were planning on splitting us up. I couldn't let that happen. Flora is my sister, and I shouldn't let any government guys separate us."
"You would do anything to keep your sister, wouldn't you?" Sweetie Belle asked.
I sighed and said, "Well, yeah. I have to. Someone has to be the responsible one. My sister is all I have left."
"You sure want to keep her safe, don't you?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"My mom said that family is more important than you think it is," I said. "Family is important to me."
"How old are you?" Sweetie Belle asked me.
"I'll be turning ten in July," I said.
"Well, good thing school ended last week," said Sweetie Belle. "And on our last day of school, Rainbow Dash pranked Miss Cheerilee. But, she was going a little too far on the pranks. So, everypony in Ponyville used her own joke cookies against her, making her think that the cookies turned the ones who eat them into zombies."
"Wow," I said. "How long ago was that prank?"
"That was actually last week," said Sweetie Belle. "But, I'm sure that you'll enjoy your time here."
"Can I ask you something?" I asked her.
"Sure," she said, answering my question.
"Your sister's horn was glowing, and some weird energy came out," I said. "What was that?"
"That was actually magic," said Sweetie Belle. "All ponies have it. Mainly, unicorns can emit magic from their horns. But, we basically use it for levitating stuff. For example..." She then looked towards the table she was at, and levitated a crayon with some green energy. She levitated over towards us. "Magic is very hard to use if you're not used to it. "
"I guess so," I said. I then looked up at the horn on my head and asked, "It feels a little weird with this on my forehead. How am I going to use this thing if I didn't have one before?"
"I bet Rarity can teach you how to use it," Sweetie Belle said. Just then, my stomach growled. I blushed, making Sweetie Belle giggle, and said, "C'mon. "Let's get you something to eat."
I was going to get up and follow her, but I fell off the couch, saying, "Ow."
"Huh?" Sweetie Belle asked, looking back at me, and just realized. "Oh, right. You were human before. C'mon. I'll teach you how to walk like a pony."
"I just hope that you won't teach me how to use the toilet like this," I said. "Wait, you guys have plumbing, don't you?"
"Yep," said Sweetie Belle. She then came over to me and said, "Alright. First, let's get you standing on your hooves." She then used her hooves to pick me up, and then tried balancing me on all of my hooves. I'm going to have an interesting time here. I won't let my parents down. My sister needs me more than ever, even if she has to be reborn. I promise, mom and dad, I'll keep an eye on Flora.
It's been ad least a week since I became pregnant and took Cody in. This past week, my tummy was getting a little bit more bigger, but I cannot argue with the result. This is supposed to be a pregnancy, after all.
My mother and father were informed on this predicament immediately, but they would be able to help me through what I'm gonna be going through. They even helped pay for some baby supplies and furniture. There are ponies working on construction on the second floor. Of course, we're also going to have to do some expansion on the first floor for a good support on the second floor.
I also had some books on taking care of foals and what to expect when I'm pregnant. In the time I've been pregnant, my friends have been coming to check on me. Usually, when I'm bored, I usually work on designing my next outfit. It was a little bit distracting when I had some symptoms.
Sometimes, Fluttershy comes in to check on me. She sees my designs and asked, "Did you draw these outfits yourself?"
"Yes, I did," I told her. "Although, it is hard for me to work on them with the foal on the way."
"I can understand that," said Fluttershy. "How is... Cody taking it?"
"Well," I told her, "he has been a little bit traumatized these past few days. But I'm sure that he'll get adjusted to here. Just like Alex and Danny did. Although, Alex had a little trouble adjusting to change of body and... gender."
"Yes," said Fluttershy. "But, at least she is coping with it." She then thought about it and asked, "How are you taking it? You're not really working because you need to rest until a few weeks after the baby is born."
"Oh, I know!" I whined. "I just can't wait a while for me to give birth to this foal!"
"I'm sure that you'll be able to wait a while for the baby to be born," Fluttershy said. "I just know that you will be a good parent. Not just to that child, but to Cody as well." I then lowered my head in shame. Fluttershy seemed to notice and asked, "You have... gotten the proper paper work to adopt him. Didn't you?"
"Ugh!" I groaned. "I was going to yesterday, but Twilight didn't want me to get too much exercise during my pregnancy. I even had to stop my spa days until my pregnancy is done."
"Oh, I know that," said Fluttershy. "I'm sure that you'll be able to come back to our weekly spa day. You just need to rest and try not to do so much when you're going through pregnancy."
"But it's sooo frustrating!" I whined. "I have a lot of designs to make, but I cannot even get started on them!"
"I know," said Fluttershy. "But this is something we have to go on with. You know, I heard that there are things worth waiting for."
"I heard that before," I told her. "But it's way too hard with the pain this pregnancy. I don't wanna wait a while for my fashion to continue."
"I'm sure that you'll be able to get back to work as soon as the pregnancy is over," said Fluttershy. "I'm going upstairs to check on the progress."
"Oh," I said. "You mind if I join you? I should really check on things for the construction."
"Well," Fluttershy said, "it is your home. You should at least take it easy." I then stood up, and Fluttershy pulled be in with her wing, and the two of us headed upstairs. We headed towards the halls where the construction ponies were still working on the rooms for Cody and Flora. One room, which was near Sweetie Belle's room, was reserved for Cody. I looked inside and saw the ponies finishing up his room.
I came into the room and saw that the room was finished. I then walked up to Cody and then one construction pony said, "Okay. This room is finished. We were about to do some painting on the walls, but we were wondering if there are any colors the colt would like."
"Interesting idea," I told him. "Although, I would like to see his interest in colors. What is your favorite color, Cody?"
"Well," said Cody. "I actually like three colors the best. Red, Green and Blue. I learned that all three of those colors make up every color in the world."
"Ooh," I said. "That is true. Especially in the comic books and video games at the arcade."
"Wait," said Cody. "There's a video arcade?"
"Oh, yes," I said. "I didn't even know you were interested in those things. But now, focus on the coloring of the room."
"I'm going to think on that," said Cody. "Well, I like something green in color."
That made me gasp and said, "GREEN?! Why in Equestria would you ever want any green here?!"
"Umm..." said Cody, nervously.
The construction worker leaned his head down and said, "Rarity has a huge sense of fashion. But this, either it's her sense of fashion or mood swings."
"What if I choose a very light shade of green?" Cody asked.
"Well..." I said, putting a hoof to my chin. "I guess that a certain shade of green would do. Mind if I see all the green paint colors."
"I so happen to have a book of colors to choose," he said. He then set the book down in front of us and we looked through it.
"I'm gonna have to see what colors are available," I said.
"I was wanting a color of grass green," said Cody. "It'll make me feel like I'm at a family reunion with my family. We took a rental RV from Detroit to Yosemite."
"Yosemite?" I asked. "What is that?"
"It's a national park," said Cody. "A huge place that is full of nature, and beautiful sights. I'm just gonna be upset that I'll never get to see my family again."
"Well, I'm suppose that I should consider on making it a color that you're comfortable with," I told Cody. "But, I might have a few problems with the colors. But, it might be the mood swings that'll come in due to pregnancy."
"I'm sure that things will get tough," said Cody. "Mom said that pregnancy is a long and painful part of life to grow through, but the ending is worth it."
"I guess that's true," I told him. "But, it might be a little difficult for me to accept this, but for a small little bundle to be born, again, I would never want to throw away such an opportunity to keep a small child alive."
"I'm sure that mom and dad will understand what's happening," Cody said. "Even, if they aren't alive anymore."
I then used my magic and pulled him in for a hug. He started sniffling. I then told him, "It's okay, Cody. I'm sure your parents will be happy for you. No matter where you are, or what you are."
"I do miss them," said Cody.
"I know, darling," I told him. "I know. But your parents would want you to be strong young... er... man, I believe?"
"It's man," said Cody.
I sighed in relief. I then picked him up in my magic and then I felt my stomach groan. I then said, "How about we go out for lunch after we choose the color?"
"Okay," said Cody. "I'm gonna have to get used to the area."
"Indeed, darling," I told him. "You're going to have to get used to all of this."
Cody then looked at the colors of green. After that, we went out for lunch. At Sugarcube Corner, we met up with the others. Luckily, Pinkie had made us all a vegetarian spaghetti meal for all of us. Luckily, it was satisfying for the unborn baby that's in my stomach at the moment.
Cody is getting along with Danny and Alex, and I would gladly want him to make some more friends around his age. I'm going to have to get Cody ready for school. But it might be a little hard for me to do with the pregnancy.
"So, Rarity," Twilight said, "are you going to be okay, handling not just your sister, but a colt and an upcoming filly?"
"Well, I suppose I am going to need some help," I told her.
"We can have your back, Rarity," said Pinkie Pie, refilling my bowl. "Don't worry about it. We'll help you out whenever you need help. If you need something to eat, I can make you what you need."
"If you need some company, we'll be able to be there if you need it," said Twilight.
"I would appreciate that, darling," I told them. "Thank you all for this."
"I would also like to help you get Cody registered into class," Twilight said. "You might be a little distracted when registering him."
"Thank you," I told Twilight. "But, right now, how about we just enjoy the day."
Pinkie then turned her head towards the door and saw a new pony come in. She then said, "Hey. Isn't that the pony who took advantage of your generosity and tried making her own fashion line out of the fabric you made?"
"WHAT?!" I shouted, then looked towards the door. I couldn't believe who I was seeing. t was the pony who tried taking my fashion style and keeping it for herself. Suri Polomare. She walked over to us.
"Well, well, well," she said. "If it isn't miss goody two hooves, Rarity. I never thought you would be in this backwater town."
"What are you doing here, Suri," I said to her, upset.
"I'm here for some business opportunity," said Suri Polomare. "I'm planning on making a profit on buying a building here to expand my business. I'm planning on buying the rundown boutique known as Carousel Boutique."
That made all of us gasp. Then I got really angry. "HOW DARE YOU?!" I shouted. "Carousel Boutique is my business! Not to mention my home! You're planning on taking my home! I don't think so!"
"Oh, please," said Suri. "You have no right to call yourself a seamstress. Basically, you're just a copycat who's been stealing my designs and selling them first."
"Says the pony who took advantage of my generosity and made her own clothes out of them!" I shouted at her. I was stomping towards her. "You have no right to call yourself a seamstress for taking advantage of ponies for their styles, and you have them do all of the work and you take all the credit! You're a phony!" I saw how she was looking. That was the face of fear. I then stood back and said, "I don't ever want you near me, my businesses, or my home ever again."
Suri then stood tall, headed towards the door and said, "This isn't over. I will have your business for myself. And, I'll have ponies force you to vacate that building you call a home once I have all the paperwork filled out." She then left. I then took some deep breaths.
"I have no idea what has gotten into me," I said. "I haven't been that angry for a while."
"It's okay, Rarity," said Twilight. "It's a part of the pregnancy. Mood swings."
"But Suri is planning on taking my companies," I said. "I can't lose them. I just opened up my business in Manehattan."
"We'll help you out with whatever we can," said Rainbow Dash. "In fact, if anypony tries messing with your business, we'll make sure that they'll regret it."
"I'll send a letter to Princess Celestia about this upcoming predicament," said Twilight. "She'll make sure that Suri Polomare will not take away your business."
"Thank you, Twilight," I said. "I don't know what I would do without my business."
"We won't let that happen, Rarity," Spike said. He then pulled out a parchment and quill and said, "Ready when you are, Twilight."
"Okay, Spike," Twilight said. She then covered her mouth and cleared her throat and said, "Dear Princess Celestia..."
After the commotion that Rarity had, Princess Celestia had made sure that no one would ever mess with Rarity's businesses and home. That was two weeks ago. I'm sure that she'll be okay. My room is finished, my sister's room is finished, and hopefully, we won't have to worry about Suri Polomare from ever taking Rarity's business away from her.
I came down the stairs to the front area of the boutique and saw Rarity reading some mothering books, basically the books are for single mothers. I walked over towards her and said, "Hey, Rarity? Is it okay if I head out towards the arcade?"
"Well, I might as well give you a proper allowance while you're here," she said, levitating a bag of coins towards me. "Are you practicing your magic?"
I then lit up my horn in a green aura. A bit darker than Sweetie Belle's aura. I then said, "I basically got levitation down. I'll see you later this afternoon."
"Okay, darling," she said. "Don't spend it all in one place."
"Okay," I said. I then headed out towards the arcade. I went in and I saw one game that peeked my interest. I took out one of the gold coins, known as bits, and started playing. Playing this game, I noticed that it's kinda like Super Mario Bros. I was getting the hang of this.
"Wow," came a voice. "You're a natural at this game."
I looked towards my left and saw a brown earth pony colt with a lighter brown mane with a propeller beanie hat. I then quickly looked back at the game and continued.
"Thanks," I said. "I had a game similar to this one back in my world. My name's Cody."
"Hello, Cody," he said. "My name is Button Mash. It's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you, too," I said.
"Oh, hit the third guy coming up!" he said. "You'll get a power up!" I then took his advice and took out that third bad guy and got a power up. I then took out the other guys and continued.
"Wow!" I said. "Thanks, Button Mash. You played this game before?"
"Well, yeah," said Button Mash. "I almost beat the game, but I lost, due to a bit of a distraction."
"Wow," I said. "Sweetie Belle distracted you during the last boss battle with your last life? That's messed up."
"I know, right?" he asked. "And that was during one Hearts and Hooves day. And, according to what that Danny kid said, it's basically like that earth holiday, Valentine's Day."
"I'm going to have to get used to all of this," I said. "It's been three weeks since I've been here." I then reached the final boss. "Oh, great. Final boss."
"Sweet!" said Button Mash. "This is going to be tough."
"That's it!" I said. "I got this." I was just about to finish the boss one last time, but then I had the urge to pee. "Uh oh. I gotta go to the bathroom."
"You can hold it," said Button Mash. "You got this."
I tried holding in my pee, but the urge to go was getting strong. But then, I put in the final blow and defeated the final boss. I raised my front hooves and shouted, "I did it!" But then I crossed my back legs, and looked towards Button Mash and asked, "Where's the bathroom?"
He pointed towards a public bathroom, and I bolted towards it. Luckily, I grabbed my bits so no one would take them. I rushed into the boys room and released the pee I was holding. After I finished, I headed back towards the arcade, but I bumped into someone, making both of us go "Oof!" and fall over.
I got up and said, "I am so sorry. I didn't see you."
"It's okay," said the voice of a girl. "Accidents happen." We then looked at each other and I saw that the girl pony I bumped into was pink with a purple and white mane and tail, and a tiara in her mane. I looked into her beautiful blue eyes and she looked into mine. Both of us just stood there and stared at each other. She then spoke up, saying, "Hi."
"Uhh... hi..." I replied, nervously.
We couldn't take our eyes off of each other. The two of us then got up and she said, "Are you... new to Ponyville?"
"Yeah," I said. "I used to be a human. My name is Cody."
"Hello, Cody," she said. "My name is..."
"DIAMOND TIARA!!" shouted a mare. We looked over and saw a mare that was walking over towards the both of us. Her coat was pink, her mane and tail were styled up, and had different shades of purple, her muzzle was pointy, she was wearing a light blue blouse with a golden yellow shell necklace, and her cutie mark was of a diamond ring. "What are you doing with this... low society pony?! Get away from him!"
"M-mother..." Diamond Tiara said. "It's just..."
"YOU!" the mare shouted at me. "You stay away from my daughter! If I catch you anywhere near her, I shall make sure that your parents will know how much of a delinquent you are!" She then looked at Diamond Tiara and said, "Let's go, Tiara."
"Yes... mother..." she said, hopelessly. The two of them walked off. I felt bad for that girl. She seemed so nice.
Later, I went over towards Sugarcube Corner. I went inside and saw Alex there with the blue mare, Mrs. Cake. It would seem that Mrs. Cake is teaching her how to bake. I could see her in the back.
"Now, take it easy, dearie," said Mrs. Cake. "It's a little tough for a beginner."
Alex took a potholder in her mouth, and grabbed the muffin tin and she walked over to a stool and walked up it, muffling, "Ouch, ouch, ouch." She then set it on the cooling rack, and then let go of the potholder. She then saw me and smiled. "Oh, hey, Cody."
"Hey, Alex," I said. "How's it going?"
"Oh, why don't you take a break and go with your friend, Alex," said Mrs. Cake. "I'm sure that you are wanting a break."
"Thanks, Mrs. Cake," said Alex. She then came over to me and said, "So, what's up?"
"I was at the arcade earlier," I said. "I even beat a game that this colt named Button Mash almost won."
"Ah, so you met Button Mash, eh?" Alex asked. "He tends to stay in the gaming zone, but he gets distracted when it comes to certain things."
"I know," I said. "He told me about what Sweetie Belle did to him when he was playing that one game."
"I know that," said Alex. "So, what else is new?"
"Nothing much," I told her. "I had been wanting to get to know the place I'm staying at. Although..." I then chuckled nervously.
"You saw a cute filly earlier, didn't you?" asked Alex. "You're in love, aren'tcha?"
"I... might have a crush on her..." I said. "Just a crush."
"Who is she?" Alex asked me.
"Pink. Purple and white mane and tail. And wears a Tiara," I explained.
"Diamond Tiara?!" Alex asked. "Well, she used to be a bully. But when she lost the election for student pony president, she has been a better pony than she has ever been. She had to stand up to her own mother that day to help pay for the new playground equipment to the school when all of it was damaged. You don't want to know how the playground equipment got damaged in the first place."
"Good to know," I said. "But, when I looked into her eyes and she looked into mine, we seemed to have this... well..."
"I get it," said Alex. "I know some girls here who have crushes on boys. And it looks like you and her have a crush on a certain colt in their class. Looks like a new colt has a thing for Diamond Tiara."
"But, her mother just thought that I was..." I started, but was interrupted by Alex.
"A low life that will end up as a lonely peasant who doesn't deserve to live?"
"Bingo," I said.
"She says that to everypony who's not rich, or royal," said Alex. "I was a human boy before I came here, but I was taught by the nuns at my orphanage that kids aren't really bad, but were raised in the wrong direction."
"So, there's no such thing as bad kids, but bad influences," I said. "Guess it was Spoiled Rich who was making her do some bad things."
"She did more than just teach her that," said Alex. "She wants her daughter to be superior to all of the ponies. But since she finally stood up to her mother, Diamond Tiara has been scolded a lot more than usual and her mom wants her to do things that she doesn't want to do."
"Who's idea was it to do that to a kid?" I asked. "It just shows how bad a parent is."
"I agree," said Alex. "I'm sure that you'll find love. Just wait a while, and you'll find someone in no time."
"You're right, Alex," I said. "But, right now, Rarity would be expecting me to be back soon."
Then coming in from the door came Pinkie Pie, saying, "Food request from Rarity. Oh, hey Cody!"
"Hey, Pinkie," I said.
"Well, since Rarity already paid for her order, I guess it's okay for you to take the order to her," said Pinkie Pie. "Let's get some food and I'll send you on your way there."
"Okay," I said.
After Pinkie Pie had packed up the order for Rarity, I headed back taking the order with me. I arrived back with the food and saw Rarity laying on her sofa. I could see Rarity was already showing a bump in her stomach.
"I'm back," I called out to her. "And I brought the food you ordered."
"Oh, thank you, Cody," Rarity said. "I'm starving." I brought it over to the coffee table and Rarity set it up for us to eat. Sweetie Belle then came down from her room.
"Oh, good," said Sweetie Belle. "I'm starving."
"I just said that a moment ago, Sweetie Belle," Rarity said. "So, what did you do today?"
"Well, all I did was help other ponies get their Cutie Marks with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo," said Sweetie Belle. "It's been wild trying to help ponies find Cutie Marks."
"I'm sure that it's nothing too dangerous," said Rarity.
"We're not letting them do anything dangerous," said Sweetie Belle. "Although, there were some ponies who thought their own or other ponies marks meant something else. Like this one pony for example."
That made me laugh. "Petunia's parents thought that her cutie mark meant she was going to be a pirate? That is hilarious."
Rarity was covering her mouth, giggling, too. She then said, "It actually is. It's a good thing she found those dinosaur bones, making her an archaeologist."
"Although, there are some archaeologists that have done very dangerous stunts to get to the treasure," I said. "But those only happen in fiction."
For some strange reason, Rarity and Sweetie Belle looked at each other, giving a smirk face. I was confused at first but then I just shrugged it off.
"What about you, Cody?" Rarity asked. "What have you been up to?"
"Well, I went to the arcade, today," I said. "I beat the final boss of one game, but I had to go to the bathroom but after I left, I bumped into a girl..."
"Diamond Tiara?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"How did you know that?" I asked.
"Danny saw the two of you, and then he told us," said Sweetie Belle. "But he also told us that her mom was being a major jerk to her and you."
"Well, nopony has the rights to tell somepony who they can or cannot fall in love with," said Rarity. "It also depends on who the personality is."
"And it's a good thing Diamond Tiara isn't a bully anymore," said Sweetie Belle. "Although, her mom was being more harsher to her than usual ever since Diamond Tiara stood up to her at the school, and we got a whole new playground."
"Well, I hope that Spoiled Rich shall be punished for abusing her own daughter," said Rarity. "Well, let's get to eating, shall we?"
We then we started eating. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.
I was in the kitchen, making myself, Cody and Sweetie Belle a nice breakfast of pancakes and eggs. I set down the plates in front of them and they started eating. As soon as I started to eat my own plate, there was a knocking on my door. I went over to the front door with Sweetie Belle and Cody following me.
I opened the door and outside, there were two ponies in black suits. One of them said, "Are you the mare known as Rarity?"
"Um, yes," I said. I was starting to get nervous about this.
"Miss Rarity, you are aware that you haven't been paid any taxes for the last two months, haven't you?" asked that same stallion.
"WHAT?!" I shouted. "I'll have you know that I always pay my taxes!"
"Well, according to these tax payments, you are the only pony in Ponyville who hasn't payed his or her taxes," said the same stallion. "So, we have no choice but to take your property and sell it to somepony who can actually pay his or her taxes."
"But... but..." I said, started sniffling. "But this is my house, and I would never forget to pay my taxes!"
"Sorry, Miss," said the stallion. "But I'm afraid that you no longer own Carousel Boutique."
"You can't do this!" I shouted. "Don't you see? I am a pregnant mare, and I have to be here! And plus, this is my business! You can't just take it away from me!"
"Sorry, Rarity," said the stallion. "But your home and business has been... evicted."
I was jaw dropped. My business and home... it was being taken away from me. And there was no way I would forget to pay my taxes. What am I going to do?
"R-Rarity?" Sweetie Belle asked. "W-what are we going to do?"
I gave Sweetie Belle a sad look, giving her the thought that there was nothing that I could do to stop this.
Two Days Later...
(Cody's Point of View)
Ever since that day Rarity's home got evicted, we have been staying at the castle with Twilight, Spike and Starlight. Rarity wasn't taking it very well, and she has been crying in her room while things are being worked out. Sweetie Belle and I were right outsider her room.
Right when we were prepared for Flora's rebirth, it was taken away. I wish there was something we could do to help her. Then Sweetie Belle and I heard the sound of hooves coming right towards us. We saw Twilight Sparkle coming right up to the door with a plate of food for Rarity. She knocked on the door and asked, "Rarity? I brought you some breakfast."
"Bring it in!" Rarity said, still sobbing. Then the three of us came into the room, and on the guest bed was Rarity, wearing a nightgown, crying her eyes out and her mascara running with her tears. Rarity's cat, Opal, was also on the bed, being annoyed by Rarity's cries.
"Oh, Rarity," said Twilight. "Everything's going to be okay."
"HOW?!" she shouted, making Opal jump in surprise. "My business here in my home town has been taken away from me and I'm expecting! The room I had prepared for her will be gone with it! I don't know what to do-hoo-hoo!" She continued crying her eyes out.
Twilight walked over to the bed and hugged Rarity. "I'm sorry this happened to you, Rarity. We'll do whatever it takes to get your home back before somepony buys it."
Then we heard the small footsteps of Spike running down the hall. He came towards the room, went in and shouted, "Somepony just bought Rarity's home!"
"WHAT?!" we all yelled.
(Rarity's Point of View)
We all rushed towards my boutique as fast as we could. Well, I had to take it easy due to me expecting. We made it towards where our friends were. Starlight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Danny, Alex, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were there, wondering what was going on.
"Why would somepony just go ahead and take away my boutique?!" I shouted. "Who bought my boutique?!"
"That would be me," said a mare's voice. I knew that voice. We looked towards it and standing there was Suri Polomare.
"SURI! YOU TOOK MY BOUTIQUE?!" I shouted.
"It's not your boutique anymore," said Suri. "I now own in. And soon, I doubt there will be anypony that will remember you. Your days of being a fashionista are over."
"You're just wanting to be a better than every fashion pony, no matter what!" I shouted. "I want my home back!"
"Not going to happen!" said Suri. "I can have every right to burn this building down and make something better with the insurance money." Then she gave a grimacing smile and said, "Or... you can come wok for me, do all of the fashion for me and I'll get all the credit."
"I would never hand over my rights to make clothes for you!" I shouted at her. "First, you took my fabric to use for your dresses instead of using it for an accent! And now, you're taking my home and business and turn it into yours! You have been taking credit for the designs of other ponies as your own! You aren't a real fashion designer!"
"And do you think that anypony is going to believe you?!" asked Suri Polomare. "I have friends in high places, and I'll make sure that you will never sell another dress ever again. I'll make sure that you will be just a simple cockroach to the fashion world. Nopony will ever want to be your customer ever again."
I was about to shout back at her, but she would threaten my career. What was I going to do? All I could do is one thing, run off somewhere. I heard my friends cry out my name. "RARITY!"
(Cody's Point of View)
Rarity ran off somewhere, making all of us feel bad for her. I then got angry, turned towards the mare who took Rarity's business, and shouted at her.
"What the heck is wrong with you?! Why would you want to ruin other fashion ponies and think you should be the only one?! You're nothing but a jerk!"
"Some big talk from a little colt," said the mare. She then patted my head and said, "That mare just doesn't seem to know the true thing about fashion. There's only room for one greatest fashion designer in Equestria, and that... is... me! So what if I took away Rarity's business? So what if I stole her fabric for my own dresses? And so what if I stole Rarity's tax payment? She will never be a better fashionista than me. Then again, fame comes with a price."
"You'll never get away with this," I said to her.
"I just did," said Suri. She then headed inside.
The rest of us headed off to find Rarity. I then heard Rainbow Dash call out, "What are we going to do?! That mare is nothing but a cheat, a thief, and a potential arsenal."
"But we can't prove it!" said Twilight. "She has played her cards perfectly. If only we could tell Princess Celestia about this, but we don't have any proof."
"Uh, yeah we do," said Danny. We all looked towards him as he pulled out something, saying, "As that last conversation happened, I recorded a video of all of it on my iPod Touch."
"Ha ha! That's my boy!" Rainbow Dash said, while messing with his hair.
"That's very good thinking, Danny," said Twilight. "Let's tell Princess Celestia about this."
After Princess Celestia arrived here when Twilight sent her a message, she was surprised that Rarity's home was taken, and the one who bought her home was her biggest enemy in the fashion world.
"That shouldn't be allowed," said Princess Celestia. "This Suri Polomare should not be able to take the property of one of my subjects." She then looked at the video on Danny's phone. "And this is clearly evidence of multiple charges that this mare has done."
"Well we have to stop Suri Polomare, now!" said Twilight.
"Rarity should not be kicked out her own home," said Rainbow Dash. "Pregnant or not!"
"We're going to put a stop to this," said Applejack. "C'mon, y'all! Let's get Rarity 'er house back!"
We all nodded and headed out.
We then headed off towards Rarity's home. When we were there, there was a strange smell coming from the building.
"What kind of perfume is Suri using?!" asked Pinkie Pie. "It's awful!"
"That doesn't smell like perfume," said Alex. "I know the smell of perfume, and this isn't perfume."
Then what is it?" asked Danny.
Princess Celestia knocked on the door, and the door opened, revealing Suri Polomare. She was surprised to see Princess Celestia standing there.
"Princess Celestia?!" she asked, surprised. "Oh, what may I be honored to do for you? Surely, there is nothing too big for the best fashion pony in Equestria to do."
"You are not even a real fashion pony if you steal from other ponies," said Princess Celestia. "You're under arrest. Stealing fabric, designs, and Rarity's tax payments. And as for this building, it's going back to the property of Rarity."
"No way!" said Suri. "I haven't done any of that..." She was cut off by the video that Danny recorded.
"That mare just doesn't seem to know the true thing about fashion. There's only room for one greatest fashion designer in Equestria, and that... is... me! So what if I took away Rarity's business? So what if I stole her fabric for my own dresses? And so what if I stole Rarity's tax payment? She will never be a better fashionista than me. Then again, fame comes with a price."
Suri was surprised by the video on Danny's phone. She then got angry and said, "Fine! Well, I'm not leaving without doing this!" She then took out a match, lit it, and put it on the outside wall, and then the flames expanded, covering the entire building with flames. We all gasped at what Suri just did.
"I knew it!" said Alex. "It's kerosene!"
"Kerosene?!" asked Twilight. "That makes sense!" She then saw Suri getting away. "Hey! Suri is getting away!"
Then Rainbow Dash flew fast towards her and then tackled her. She then said to Suri, "You're going to jail, Suri! You're done for!" Then a couple royal guards came over to Suri and then grabbed her. She was then escorted into a prisoner chariot.
We then all looked towards Carousel Boutique. It was just about burnt halfway to a crisp. The building was structurally unsound. Kinda like that one building in the movie, "The Incredibles."
"Now what are we going to do?" I asked.
"I'll get some ponies to rebuild Rarity's home," said Princess Celestia. "And as for Suri Polomare... let's just say she won't be allowed to make dresses anymore."
"That would make things better," I said. "I... I should tell Rarity about what's going on." I started running off somewhere, searching for Rarity.
(Rarity's Point of View)
Suri Polomare has taken everything away from me. Taking my fabric is one thing, but taking my home is another. I ran off to the ice cream shop, and bought three tubs of ice cream. I brought it back to the guest room I was staying at in Twilight's castle, scarfing down all of the strawberry ice cream.
As soon as I took a bite from my ice cream, my stomach rebelled it and I ran into the bathroom and threw up. I wonder if Flora isn't too fond of strawberry. Or she's lactose and tolerant. I bought three tubs of strawberry ice cream, and I can't eat it. But I needed ice cream to help me calm down from what happened.
I was then interrupted by the sound of door knocking. I looked over towards the door and saw Cody there. I then said, "Oh, hello, Cody. What is it?"
"Okay," he said. "I got some good news, and I got some bad news."
"I doubt some good news will be able to help me right now," I said, heading back to my bed. I got up onto it, and laid my head down on my pillow.
"The good news is Suri Polomare has been arrested for multiple counts of theft," said Cody. "Including your tax payments."
I lifted my head and stared at Cody, saying, "REALLY?!" I then rushed over towards him, and hugged him. "This is splendid! So I get my home back?!"
"Well..." he said. "Remember what I said about bad news?" I looked towards his face and nodded. He then took a breath and said, "She... she burned it down right before she was taken in."
"SHE DID WHAT?!" I shouted. I then tightened my grip, and let out some more tears. "This is the last straw! I shall..."
"Even if she gets out of prison, she's not allowed to purchase any fabrics for clothes making," said Cody, interrupting me. "Now, no fashion pony will worry about Suri trying to ruin their business."
I smiled then I rubbed my cheek against his. I then said, "Well, it might take a while for my boutique to be rebuilt. But, at least it'll be done before the baby's born."
"Yeah," said Cody.
"Speaking of which," I said. "I usually love strawberry ice cream, but..."
"Oh," said Cody. "Flora hates strawberries. No matter if it's a real one or artificial flavored. We tried feeding her one strawberry after she was born. She threw up."
"Okay," I said. "I might have to wait a while for me to eat some strawberries." I then looked down at Cody, and he was rubbing my belly. "Trying to feel for your sister's kick? It's still too early, you know."
"I know," said Cody. "I just hope my sister will still think of me as her older brother."
I then got to thinking. I haven't really signed some papers of adoption for him. True, I am giving birth to his sister, but I haven't really thought of Cody as my own son. I then smiled at him and then I told him, "You know what? I think I should officially adopt you. Legally or not, you'll still will be Flora's older brother. And, I think we should legalize it. Would you like to be my son?"
"R-really?" Cody asked.
"I think we should do it, don't you?" I asked him.
He then smiled and wrapped his hooves around my neck, saying, "Yes, yes, yes!" We then heard hoofsteps coming into the room.
"I had a feeling that eventually you two would want to be a family." We looked over and saw Princess Celestia. "Luckily, I've brought the adoption papers with me just in case." She then levitated the papers over to me, and I took them, and started filling them out.
I finished filling out the papers, and levitated back to the princess, telling her, "Finished."
Princess Celestia nodded and said, "Alright, Rarity. I'll take these back up to Canterlot. And I'll make sure that your boutique gets rebuilt in the exact same layout it was left before Suri burned it down."
"Oh, thank you, Princess!" said Rarity. "I humbly thank you."
I heard the princess giggle and said, "It's okay. Everything is going to be fine. I shall see that things will pick up for you."
I nodded. Soon enough, everything will be back to normal. Hopefully for the better.
In the prison in Memphis, Tennessee, Danny's ex-aunt and uncle, Natasha and Reginald, were being forced to do some laps with a bunch of other prisoners. They were getting a bunch of treatment from the guards.
Then one guard came over to them and said, "Alright, you two. There are some scientists who are wanting to test some memory recovering tests."
"Are you sure about this?" asked Natasha.
"You don't think it'll actually work, do you?" asked Reginald.
"Everything will be fine," said the guard.
They were then escorted to a room with some headsets hanging from the ceiling, connected to some machines. As soon as the headsets were securely fastened to their heads, the scientist in the room said, "Alright, you two. These headsets will give off a flash of light, and you'll see some memories you have forgotten."
"Okay," said Natasha. "Whatever."
Then the sound of machines beeping started going off, and then flashes of light went into the eyes of Natasha and Reginald. After the flashes stopped, Natasha gave off a grimacing frown.
"Daniel," she whispered.
"What was that?" asked the scientist.
"Nothing," said Natasha. "Are we done here?"
"Did you see some memories you have forgotten?" asked the scientist. Natasha and Reginald nodded. "Okay, you two. Head on to the mess hall."
Natasha and Reginald walked out and headed off somewhere. They were talking along the way to the mess hall.
"We have to get out of here and get Danny back," said Natasha.
"That kid is our one shot at being rich," said Reginald. "How are we going to get back there and get him back?"
"And of course, when we do, we're going to have to leave the country," said Natasha. "The police of America can't stop us when we leave the county."
"Okay," said Reginald. "I actually have a getaway place in Cancun. We'll retreat there, and then we'll have Danny marry into a rich family and start our business back up, but staying in Mexico."
"Now that's a plan," said Natasha. "But first, we need to get out of prison. Let's think of a plan." They continued talking about plans of getting out of prison.
Meanwhile, in Ponyville, Equestria...
(Rarity's Point of View)
It has been three months since Cody has come to Equestria and me getting pregnant with his baby sister, who is being born twice. My boutique is being rebuilt due to what Suri Polomare has done, and she has been sent to jail for a long, long time for multiple crimes. My house would be rebuilt fully in no time.
And of course, I got Cody already in school with Sweetie Belle. She was happy to help out Cody while getting used to Equestria. Now, I'm actually going to do some furniture shopping to be delivered to my place. The front room of my boutique is already built. My kitchen is bigger, and the construction ponies are still working on the upstairs rooms.
Starlight has been helping me with making my dresses from the designs I've been drawing. She then asked, "Is this okay, Rarity?"
"Oh, yes, darling," I told her. "It's positively perfect. Just perfect. I'm sure we'll be able to finish this in..." I was interrupted when I felt something in my stomach. "Oh."
"Hey, are you alright?" Starlight asked.
"I'll be fine," I told her. "It's probably that I have to eat. I haven't had breakfast yet."
Then Spike came in with two plates of pancakes, scrambled eggs and hash browns. My plate had a lot more than what Starlight's plate has. I guess that makes sense since I have a baby on the way.
"Here you two go," said Spike. "I made extra for you Rarity because of... well... you know..."
"Why thank you, Spike," I told him. "How about a break, Starlight?"
"Sure," said Starlight. We then stepped away from the fashion and started eating breakfast. I, however, was taking my time with eating my breakfast. "Whoa, Rarity! You're scarfing all of that down really fast!" Starlight's comment made me stop and look at her.
"Oh, goodness," I said. "I don't know what came over me."
"It's okay, Rarity," said Starlight. "Some of the mares at my village had trouble with their eating habits when they were pregnant."
"Oh, goodness gracious," I said. "I guess if this is normal, I'm just going to have to get used to it. I'm sure the pregnancy will be worth it at the end."
"Sounds like a true mother to be," said Starlight. "But, some mothers to be get advice from their parents or ponies who had a child before. Perhaps you should go see your parents."
"Oh, yes," I said. "Perhaps this Saturday, me, Cody and Sweetie Belle shall go visit my parents and my mother would tell me more about being a proper mother."
"Good call," said Starlight.
"Didn't you have doctors at your village?" I asked.
"Well, we did," said Starlight, "but I decided that they should keep their talents. What would I do if there are ponies with injuries, or sick, or are in need of medical attention and there would be nopony who would know what they were doing."
"Good call," I said. Then I felt a sensation that I knew all too familiarly. "I have to use the bathroom." I headed out of the room.
Saturday came and me, Sweetie Belle and Cody were heading off towards my parents's house. We came up to the front door and then Sweetie Belle knocked on the door. The door opened, and my mother stuck her head out the door and saw me.
"Oh, Rarity! Sweetie Belle!" she said. "I'm so happy to see you!" She then hugged the two of us.
"Oh!" I said. "Careful, mother."
"Oh, right," she said. "I remember you telling me about this pregnancy through the letter. Come on inside." She then saw Cody and she said, "Oh, is this the latest human turned colt? Cody, right?"
"Yeah," he said, "I'm Cody."
"Well, it's nice to finally meet you," my mother said. "Come on in, you three." Then all of us headed inside. Mother decided to give us some cake for our visit.
"I appreciate it, mother," I told her. "I'm going to have to ask you what I could expect while pregnant."
"Of course, Rarity," said my mother. "I'll tell you everything about what to expect. Now, you have been drinking lots of fluids, haven't you?"
"Yes, mother," I told her.
"And you haven't been doing too much yourself, are you?" my mother asked.
"Nothing too hard for my body to take," I said. "Now, where is father?"
"He's outside," mother said. "You know how much he loves fishing."
"Oh, of course that's true," I told her. I heard Cody sigh. I looked towards him and asked, "What is the matter, Cody?"
"Well, when my parents were still alive, once a week during summer," Cody started explaining, "my dad and I go on a fishing trip at Lake St. Clair. We take a fishing boat with us, stay in a rental cabin for the week, and we go fishing. We caught a lot of things together. One time, I caught a huge catfish, and my dad... it was weird, but he actually caught a swordfish."
"In freshwater?" I asked.
"That's what I said," said Cody. "Well, we've been doing that since I was five. Mom just stayed home alone, trying to enjoy the peace and quiet."
"Why didn't she go with you and your father?" I asked.
"She did on our first trip," said Cody. "Until an octopus jumped on her head."
That last comment made Sweetie Belle laugh. She then asked, "An octopus jumped onto your birth mother's head?! It's hilarious!"
"Sweetie Belle," I said. "I don't think it's really funny if it happens to somepony else, don't you think?"
"Oh, yeah," said Sweetie Belle. "Gabby Gums."
"Gabby Gums?" asked Cody.
"Danny will tell you about it," said Sweetie Belle. "Diamond Tiara was involved in it as well. When she was still a bully."
"Makes sense," said Cody. "Anyway, I guess that I won't be able to do some fishing with my dad anymore."
"Oh, Cody," I told him. "It's okay. Everything will be okay." I hugged him, trying to cheer him up.
"So, is Cody registered for school, yet?" my mother asked.
"Well, Twilight is going to help out on getting him registered," said Rarity. "I'm sure that Sweetie Belle and her friends will help him adjust to a new school."
"I'm sure he will," said my mother. "Cody, how about you go hang out with your adoptive grandfather? I'm sure he'll enjoy having company."
"Okay," Cody said, getting off the couch.
"Follow me," said my mother. "I'll introduce you to him."
(Cody's Point of View)
My new grandma, Cookie Crumbles, was escorting me to meet my new grandpa, Hondo Flanks. He was fishing at the time.
"Hondo," said Grandma Cookie. "Rarity, Sweetie Belle and their guest are here."
"Oh," said Grandpa Hondo. He then looked over at us and saw me next to his wife. "Well, this must be the little colt that Rarity has adopted, ain't it?"
"That's right, Hondo," said Grandma Cookie. "Meet Cody."
"Glad to meet you, Cody," said Grandpa Hondo. "Would you like to try fishing?"
"I actually did some fishing with my dad when I was human," I told him. "I guess I'll never get to do that with him again."
"Well, how about you and I do some fishing?" asked Grandpa Hondo. "I'll teach you how to fish as a pony. Since you used to be human."
I smiled up at him and said, "I'd appreciate that. Thank you."
He then helped me get set up on how to fish as a pony. It was hard for me to keep my grip, but I was able to get at least three fishes out of the water when we were called in.

We left my parents's house to head back to the castle. We did come my boutique which was almost completely rebuilt. Rainbow Dash allowed the weather team to keep the weather around my boutique for the construction ponies to finish whenever Ponyville has its weather.
I'm going to have to start furniture shopping soon. Start with the essentials before anything else. I should make a list of furniture to buy when we get back to the castle.
I just put Sweetie Belle to bed and then I went over to the room where Cody was staying. I came into his room and saw him looking out the window. I walked over to him and asked, "Cody? Is something the matter?"
He sighed and said, "I guess it was nice to have some family time, but I still miss my old family."
I hugged him and said, "I know, darling. I know. But your parents wouldn't want you to be upset?"
He sighed and said, "No, I guess not."
"Remember, Cody," I told him. "As long as they're in your heart, they'll never leave you."
"Yeah, I guess you're right," said Cody. He then yawned and rubbed his eye with a hoof.
I then leaned towards him, kissed his forehead and said, "Sweet dreams, Cody."
He smiled and tucked himself into his temporary bed. I felt my stomach grumble. I looked down at it and said, "Don't worry, Flora. Your brother will see you soon enough."
I headed over towards my room and headed off to bed. The next day is going to be a better day. Luckily, Cody will start school soon. And I hope that he'll be able to make a lot of friends there. Thanks to Sweetie Belle and her friends. He'll be just fine.
Three months have passed since then. Cody was doing well in school. He had some good friends there. Fall is starting, making such beautiful colors of the leaves in the trees. Cody, especially, likes drawing the trees, expressing on how beautiful the colors of the leaves are.
My boutique got finished a month ago. It was as beautiful than before it was destroyed by Suri. I'm sure that everything will get better from now on.
My pregnancy has been doing fine. My belly has gotten bigger, so Flora is starting to take shape. It'll take a few more months for her to be reborn, but she'll be able to see the light of day again. It'll just take a matter of time.
My thoughts were interrupted when there was a knocking at my door. I looked towards the door and walked over towards it. It was getting harder for me to move around, but I'll be fine. When I came to the door, outside was Filthy Rich, Spoiled Rich, and their daughter, Diamond Tiara.
"Miss Rarity," said Filthy Rich. "Sorry to bother you, but we are in need of some assistance."
"Oh, I wish I could help you," I told him, "but I'm afraid that I'm on maternity leave. I can't work on anything until the pregnancy is done."
"I will not accept that," said Spoiled Rich. "I came here to pick up my dress from miss Suri Polomare! Where is she?!"
"She's been arrested for multiple charges," I told her. "Thievery on multiple counts, and for burning down my home, which was recently rebuilt. She is banned from ever even stepping foot in a boutique or even buying a piece of fabric or anything used for fashion."
"WHAT?!" Spoiled Rich shouted. "I requested that dress months ago! I want it now!"
"Now, honey," said Filthy Rich. "You heard miss Rarity. That Suri Polomare has been arrested for crimes that cannot be pardoned at the time. And we cannot expect miss Rarity to work when she is having a baby on the way."
"Rich, I was expecting to wear a new dress to this fancy party in Fillydelphia!" Spoiled Rich shouted. "I was expecting to pick it up today, and I will not let anypony say no to me! We're all expected to be there by tomorrow, and I will not miss it!"
"I don't want to go!" Diamond Tiara said. "You always make me go to these fancy parties!"
"You are goin and that's that!" said Spoiled Rich.
"Honey," said Filthy Rich, "if Diamond doesn't want to go, you shouldn't make her."
"Rich, we are all expected to be there," said Spoiled Rich. "And I want that dress I was promised!"
"I'm sorry," I told her. "I really am. But I am in no condition to work when I am pregnant. And also, was it really required for all of you to go even though your daughter doesn't want to go?"
"Actually, the host said that it would be fine if somepony doesn't want to go and stay home," said Filthy Rich. "She didn't say that all of us should go."
"Well, she's going! She needs to learn to be around high class ponies instead of pathetic commoners," said Spoiled Rich.
"Oh? Is that how you treat other ponies?" I asked. "You think that just because you're rich means you can talk down to ponies?! You are as much as a snob as Prince Blueblood, and he's the most hated out of all of the diplomats in Canterlot!"
"You dare raise your voice at me?!" Spoiled Rich shouted at me, angrily. "I'll make sure that you'll live out the rest of your life in a jail cell!"
"Have you forgotten that one of my best friends happens to be the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle?!" I shouted back.
"Now, honey," said Filthy Rich. "It's not good to put a pregnant mare under stress. It'll hurt her baby."
"I don't care!" said Spoiled Rich. "She doesn't decide where what's right or wrong! Why should she not make my dress for the night I need it?!"
"I cannot make that dress!" I told her. "And as for you... you are a horrible pony who sees all other ponies below her as nothing! What kind of pony do you think you are?!"
"I am a pony who knows what's best for everypony!" said Spoiled Rich. "Nopony tells me how to live my life!"
That's when Filthy Rich got between us, shouting, "ENOUGH!" He then looked at his wife and said, "Listen. You can't just tell ponies what they can or can't do."
"We must teach these ponies where their place is!" said Spoiled Rich.
Filthy Rich frowned angrily. Then he said, "That's it. Diamond, we're leaving."
"Where are we going?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"To Town Hall so I can sign some divorce papers," said Filthy Rich. That made Spoiled go wide-eyed.
"WHAT?!" she shouted. "Rich, how can you ever think of such a thing?!"
"I've endured a lot of your behavior, but this is the last straw," said Filthy Rich. "I don't ever want you in my house again, and I don't want you near Diamond ever again. Who knows what would happen if you have her do things she doesn't want to do?"
"I can think of a few things," I said. "According to Sweetie Belle, Diamond Tiara used to be the schoolhouse bully due to what Spoiled Rich taught her how to act."
Filthy Rich glared at Spoiled Rich and shouted, "WHAT?! You told her to act like that?! That's it! You are never going to see Diamond Tiara ever again!" He then grabbed Diamond and said, "Let's go, Diamond. We don't want your mother to corrupt your mind ever again."
"Okay, daddy," said Diamond Tiara as the two of them were leaving my boutique. As for Spoiled Rich, she was going to yell at me. But with what just happened, she just can't find the right words. She then groaned and left the door, trying her best to convince her soon-to-be ex-husband not to file for divorce. I know that's not going to succeed.
2 Weeks Later...
(Cody's Point of View)
Things have been going well these past two weeks. Ever since Filthy Rich and Spoiled Rich, or as she's now called Spoiled Milk, have gotten divorced, Diamond Tiara has been a whole lot more relieved. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were hanging out with me, Danny, Alex, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo for some snacks at Sugarcube Corner. It was basically some good eats. Even at times where the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cake, Pumpkin Cake, kept on trying to braid Alex's hair from time to time.
Mom's stomach has gotten a bit bigger since then. Her friends have come in to see how she was doing. Twilight, Starlight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike, Alex, Danny, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. They've been really supportive of Mom. Pinkie Pie would volunteer to watch over me and Flora about a month after Rarity had her and had to go back to work.
"I appreciate you all coming over to help out," said Mom.
"Of course, Rarity," said Twilight. "We wouldn't be considered your friends if we haven't come her to check on you and help out. You're our friend through and through."
"Yeah, don't sweat it, Rares," said Rainbow Dash. "We'll be here whenever you need some help."
"I appreciate that," said Mom. She then jumped a little. "Oh." She then rubbed her belly and said, "Feels like somepony is getting a little fussy. Probably wants to come out soon."
"Hey, Cody," said Apple Bloom, walking over to me. "Are ya excited?"
"About what?" I asked.
"About your sister coming back?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Yeah," said Scootaloo. "You should be happy that your sister is gonna come back."
"I guess so," I said. "But, how am I going to be a good big brother if I couldn't keep my sister safe."
"Whoa," said Apple Bloom. "Easy, Cody. Ya tried to keep your sister safe and ya said that those people were going to separate the two of ya back on yer world. Ya wanted to keep 'er safe for the sake of your old parents. Ah say that that's what a good big brother woulda done."
"Indeed," came Twilight's voice. She sat next to me, placed her right forehoof on top of my head, rubbed it and said, "You would do anything to keep what's left of your family with you. You're a better big brother than you think you are."
I was thinking of all of what happened after my mom and dad died. They made me promise to keep my sister safe. I couldn't after what happened, but now I have a second chance. I smiled thinking of that, I looked towards my new mom, and smiled. She saw me and came over towards me.
She put her mouth close to my ear and said, "Your sister is kicking. Do you want to feel it?"
I smiled and I put a hoof on her stomach, and I felt Flora kicking. I smiled at what Flora was doing. At least she was kicking as strong as she was when mom was pregnant with her.
"I remember when she kicked like this when my birth mom was pregnant," I said. "Flora was always a strong kicker."
"I'm sure she'll grow out of that phase," said Mom. "Now, we're just going to have to wait." She then grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. Her hug feels just as warm as a hug from my birth mom was. "It'll just be a matter of time until she comes out."
"I know," I said. "I just hope nothing bad will happen like last time."
"I know, Cody," said Mom. "I know." She then turned my face to look at hers. "You are a spirited young colt who would protect his family in need. You're a strong-hearted boy. You shine handsomely on the inside." I then hugged her, and she hugged me back. The moment was then interrupted when Spike started gagging.
We all looked over at him and saw he was gagging. I then said, "Dude. Way to ruin the moment."
Then Spike belched, and green flames came out of his mouth and then it all turned into a rolled up scroll. He then picked it up and unrolled it. He then went wide-eyed as he read it and said, "Uh, everypony. This letter... it's from Solar Eclipse."
"What?!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "What does it say?"
Spike cleared his throat as he started reading. "'To Twilight Sparkle and friends, it has come to my attention that just the previous night that Danny's criminal aunt and uncle, Natasha and Reginald, had both escaped from prison. Along with three other criminals. According to some of the guards, there were some scientists who were working on a machine that could restore forgotten memories, which was not good due to some memories they shouldn't remember. I just hope they don't have a secret way of getting back to Equestria for their get rich scheme of which includes Danny. But just in case, keep a very close eye on him from all who can help. Signed, Solar Eclipse.'"
"That's not good," said Rainbow Dash.
"N-no way they could have a way back here," said Danny, nervously. "Th-they can't. Can they?"
"If they have a way back, we'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe," said Rainbow Dash. "Those two good for nothing creatures don't deserve a good kid like you."
"We won't let anything happen," said Twilight. "As long as we're with you, nothing will happen."
Everypony else nodded towards Danny. He was happy to have friends and family that would keep him safe. Danny must've had a hard life before he came here. But when he's here, he doesn't have to worry about anything bad.
Things have been getting quite interesting since the letter from this Solar Eclipse showed up. Danny has been a little edgy since then, but I'm sure he'll get over it. I tried calming him down, but he replied to me, "I've been taken by those two before. I don't want that to happen again." He was freaking out.
Two days ago, Rainbow Dash had to leave to perform at a Wonderbolts performance, and Pinkie Pie had to help deliver some pastries to Canterlot, so Danny and Alex are staying with me, Mom and Sweetie Belle until they got back. Danny was staying in my room while Alex stayed with Sweetie Belle.
This morning, Sweetie Belle left a little while ago to do some Crusading and Mom was cooking breakfast for all of us. Pancakes, scrambled eggs and some pieces of lettuce. There was also some apple juice.
"Now," Mom said, "is there anything you three are wanting to do?"
"Not really, mom," I said. "What are you planning on doing today?"
"Oh, nothing much," said Mom. "Although, I am scheduled for an ultrasound at the hospital, today. So, we'll have a chance to see your sister before she's born."
"Well that's good news," said Alex. "You'll be a big brother again. Isn't that good news?"
"Yeah, I guess," said Cody. "I just hope she won't be as much as a bother at first as she was after she was born before."
"Oh, I heard that, Cody," said Rarity. "Pinkie Pie had a bit of a problem like that when watching Pound and Pumpkin. I know, it's going to be hard for me, but we'll just have to bare with it."
"I guess so," I said. We then continued our breakfast, and we decided to head off to the hospital. I looked over at Danny, and he was looking around. He was afraid that he was being watched. "Hey, mom? Something's bothering Danny."
Mom looked back at Danny and she told him, "Don't worry, Danny. Those ruffians will never have you ever again."
"I hope you're right," said Danny. We then continued to the hospital. Hopefully nothing bad would happen.
(Third Person Point of View)
Right after that moment, peeking their heads from an alley, as ponies, Natasha and Reginald saw Danny with some friends and Rarity heading over towards the hospital.
"Boy," said Reginald. "That one let herself go."
"She's not fat, Reginald," said Natasha. "She's pregnant." She then smiled evilly. "I have a much better idea. We'll not only take Danny. But those two friends of his, and that mare. And when that mare's baby is born, we'll kill the mother."
Reginald chuckled and said, "Not a bad idea. Let's wait until the four of them get out of the hospital." Natasha nodded and they headed towards the hospital, keeping out of sight from Rarity and the three young human turned ponies as they were heading there.
Earth... Memphis, Tennessee
In an apartment, Solar Eclipse, as Geoffrey Merlin, was on the phone with someone. He was coming into the apartment at the time.
"No problem, Leigh Anne," said Solar Eclipse on the phone. "It was nice to help you out with your son, Michael, out of trouble in that situation. Your son is basically one of the best left-tackle in the NFL. Sure. I'd love to come over for Thanksgiving. Okay. See you then. Maybe sooner. Bye." He then hung up.
He walked over to the desk in his apartment, and started up his computer. He then started typing up something until there was a knocking on his door. He was confused at that.
"Who's out there?" asked Solar Eclipse.
"Geoffrey Merlin?" asked the man outside the room.
"Yeah? Who's asking?" asked Solar Eclipse. He was surprised when the door was burst open by a battering ram. "Hey! What was that for?!"
"Geoffrey Merlin, you're under arrest!" came the man, who turned out to be a police officer.
"On what charge?!" asked Solar Eclipse.
"Kidnapping... Insanity... and bank robbery!" said the police officer.
"WHAT?!" Solar Eclipse shouted. "No! I didn't do any of that! I'm not a kidnapper, bank robber or even insane!" He was then pushed down on his desk and the cops put handcuffs on him.
"You have the right to remain silent!" said the police man. "Sorry, but you get no court. You're going to an asylum."
"What?! No! I can't...!" Solar Eclipse said, but then he was knocked out. He was then taken out of the apartment, and into a truck that was a transport to an asylum.
Back in Equestria, Ponyville Hospital...
(Rarity's Point of View)
I was in the hospital, waiting for the doctor to come in. Cody, Danny and Alex were waiting patiently for the doctor to come in. Then the doctor came in.
"Hello, Miss Rarity," said Doctor Horse. "Are you ready to see your foal?"
"I am," I told him.
"Alright," said Doctor Horse. "Just roll to your right, and we'll start off your ultrasound." Then some more doctors brought in a machine for the ultrasound. The doctor rubbed some cream on my stomach, and then the wand connected to the device. As the doctor put the wand on my stomach, I jumped a little.
"Oh," I said as I jumped. "That's cold."
"Sorry," said the doctor. "But this isn't the first time that ponies jumped when this happened." He then looked at the image coming from the ultra sound. "Hm. That's interesting."
"What? What is it?" I asked.
"According to this, the foal almost looks like it's about ready to come out," said Doctor Horse.
"What?" I asked.
"You've been pregnant for about eight months now," said Doctor Horse. "But usually, a foal would be born after 11 months. Your looks like it's been generating for 10 months. How is that?"
"Actually," said Cody, "I think I can answer that. Flora and I were both born human. And a human woman is pregnant for 9 months at least."
"Oh," said Doctor Horse. "That makes sense. Guess it's regenerating as fast as a human baby would. So, I guess your baby would be coming out sooner than you think."
"I'm not sure how my friends are going to react to this," I told him. I then looked over at the young human turned foals and said, "Alright, you three. Let's get out of here." They nodded and we headed out. Thankfully, the doctor gave us a photo of the ultrasound.
We were on our way towards Twilight's castle, but then we stopped when we heard a ruckus coming from an alley. We stopped and looked at it.
"What's going on?" Alex asked.
"I don't know, darling," said Rarity. "But we shouldn't dilly dally. Let's keep going."
"Uh, guys," said Cody. "Something's not right from under our hooves."
We all looked down and saw part of the ground was dug up a little and then a net came up and scooped up the four of us, making all of us shout.
"What in heavens!" I shouted. Then coming in from the alley were two figures. Both earth ponies. One green stallion with black and dark brown mane and a cutie mark of three dollar signs, and a red mare with a black mane and her cutie mark was of a profit chart.
Danny gasped and said, "No! Not them! Not again!"
"Hello, Daniel," said the mare. I recognized that voice. It was the voice of Danny's horrible aunt, Natasha. Which means the stallion is his just as bad uncle, Reginald. "It's time to go back to where you belong."
"I don't belong to you anymore!" said Danny. "All you two ever did was keep my locked up, do your housework and kept me away from school!"
"And that's how it should be," said Reginald. "But now, you won't be alone. Those two friends of yours, and that soon to be born child, will all be sharing what's going to happen."
"NO!" shouted Cody. "You can't treat people this way! And no way I'm going to let my baby sister be a slave to you!"
"Sorry, kid," said Natasha. "But that is not your choice. You don't get choices... anymore." Then she pulled out a strange locket. It was a dark blue with silver outlines and wires, making a crescent moon in the middle. "This locket will take all of us to where we have to go. You all are coming with us." Then she pointed to me and said, "And as soon as that baby is born, let's just say that your life will end when that baby's begins."
That made me gasp, twice. I then snapped at her, "Who made you the boss of what happens?! You don't decide what happens to ponies, or in your case, people who want to choose their own paths! You can't treat any creature this way!"
"Well, get used to it!" said Natasha. "Once that baby is out of you... say goodbye to your family." Then she opened the locket and a huge flash went off, blinding all of us. Then we all got knocked out.
(Third Person Point of View)
Little do they know, that before the flash of light, there were a couple of watchers. Sweetie Belle and Diamond Tiara. They were passing by when they heard the commotion. They were surprised to see Rarity, Cody, Danny and Alex disappearing with Danny's evil aunt and uncle.
"What... just... happened?!" Diamond Tiara asked.
"Those two ponies... were Danny's evil aunt and uncle," said Sweetie Belle. "We gotta tell Twilight and the others."
"Good idea," said Diamond Tiara. "To the castle!" Then the two of them ran towards the Castle of Friendship.
As soon as Twilight was told about what happened, she alerted Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and the Princesses. They all came in and were all worried about what was going to happen.
"This is a grave misfortune," said Princess Celestia. "It would seem that Danny's old aunt and uncle are up to their old tricks. But this time, they added some changes."
"And I heard them talking," said Sweetie Belle. "As soon as the baby is born, they're going to kill Rarity!"
"WHAT?!" shouted all of them, except for Diamond Tiara.
"That means we have to work fast!" said Twilight. "If Natasha and Reginald are going to kill Rarity after Cody's sister is reborn, then we have to save them before Rarity's water breaks."
"Indeed," said Princess Luna. "And it would seem that you are all going to need the assistance of Solar Eclipse once again."
"He is the only pony who can help out while you're there," said Princess Celestia.
"I told Danny if those good for nothing crooks ever tried coming after him again, I would kick their flanks!" said Rainbow Dash. "And today, that's the day I'll make that promise happen!"
"And no way some Meany McMeaner Pants are going to take away my child just for their own pleasure!" said Pinkie Pie. "Let's go!"
"Indeed, Pinkie," said Twilight. "Princess, take us to where Solar Eclipse lives."
"Uh, Twilight?" asked Spike.
"Yes, Spike?" Twilight asked.
"You once said that the world where Danny, Alex and Cody were from were similar to the world on the other side of that mirror, right?" asked Spike.
"Yes, I did," said Twilight. "Why do you ask?"
"I... kinda made a call to someone who has experience in a world similar," said Spike. He then walked towards the door and opened it up. On the other side of the door... was Sunset Shimmer.
"Hello, everypony," said Sunset Shimmer.
"Sunset Shimmer!" Twilight said, excitedly.
Sunset then saw her old mentor, Princess Celestia. She smiled nervously at her. Princess Celestia slowly walked up to her and said in a stern voice, "Sunset Shimmer."
Sunset Shimmer lowered her head in shame. She nervously spoke, "H-hello Princess."
With a wing, Princess Celestia moved Sunset's chin upward to make her look at her old mentor, face to face. Princess Celestia's stern face became softer and she said, "It's good to see you again."
Sunset Shimmer smiled truthfully and came in for a hug with her old mentor. After they broke the hug, and walked towards Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
"Alright," said Princess Celestia. "I will be sending you all to Solar Eclipse's apartment on Earth. Good luck on getting them all back safe and sound."
"We will, Princess," said Twilight. And then with a flash of light, Twilight, Sunset, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy were all transported to Earth.
Twilight and her friends woke up in an apartment building. All of them were human. They were curious about where they were.
"That's... odd," said Twilight.
"What is it, Twi?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Where's Solar Eclipse?" asked Twilight. "He should've been taking us to where Rarity and the kids are."
"Yer right about that, sugarcube," said Applejack. "We should've been on our way there."
"But why aren't we?!" Pinkie Pie shouted.
"Perhaps we should head out and find out some clues," said Sunset Shimmer.
"Good idea, Sunset," said Twilight. "Let's head out."
Then the six of them headed out of the apartment building. As soon as they got outside, they recognized the place.
"Memphis, Tennessee," said Rainbow Dash. "I remember this place." Then someone in a suit passed them and threw a newspaper he was reading into a trashcan.
"Heh," said Twilight. "If Rarity was with us right now, she would've said, 'That's not where you put a newspaper. It should go in the recycling.'"
"That does sound like something Rarity would say," said Sunset.
Twilight then grabbed the newspaper and looked at the front page. On the front page, she was surprised. The front page read:

Local Attorney Declared Legally Insane
"WHAT?!" shouted Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Applejack.
"'Geoffrey Merlin, the best Attorney in Tennessee, was decreed a madman'," Twilight read. "'He has been taken in to an insane asylum for multiple charges of things an insane man would say. Including kidnapping and bank robbery.' No way Solar Eclipse would do that."
"Does it say where he's been taken?" asked Sunset.
"It says here that he's been taken to the Nashville Asylum of the Insane," said Twilight. "But we don't know where that is."
"Would this help?" Pinkie Pie asked, holding out a cell phone, and car keys.
"Is that Solar Eclipse's cell phone and car keys?" asked Twilight.
"Yep," said Pinkie Pie. "Now, let's go find his car." Sunset then took the car keys out of Pinkie's hand. "Hey."
"I'll drive," said Sunset. "I took Driver's Ed at Canterlot High."
"Of course you did," said Twilight. Twilight thought for a second and then she said, "Sunset... what are you gonna do once you graduate from Canterlot High?"
Sunset thought about that. She then said, "I never thought of that. Perhaps... perhaps I should come back to Equestria and stay. I'm sure that my family missed me when I went through that mirror. My parents and my little brother."
"I didn't know you had a brother," said Twilight. "What's his name?"
"Sunburst," said Sunset Shimmer.
"Wait wait wait!" said Rainbow Dash. "Sunburst... the current crystaller in the Crystal Empire... is your little brother?"
"You all met him?" asked Sunset.
"Well, he was there when we needed him when the Crystal Heart broke," said Twilight. "My niece, Flurry Heart, who was also the first naturally born Alicorn, cried with the Royal Canterlot Voice, and cracked the Crystal Heart."
"Yeesh," said Sunset. "How about we skip this and head there? We're going to need Solar Eclipse's help, right?"
"Right," said Twilight. "Let's go." Then all of them headed into the parking garage underneath the building.
I groaned when getting up. I woke up and looked around. I saw that me, Mom, Danny and Alex, all of us human, were in the back on an old station wagon. I was about to wake up my new mom until a voice was said.
"Well, well, well," said a woman's voice. I looked over towards the voice and saw a woman sitting between two men. "It would seem that one of them is awake."
I was getting scared. I wanted to get out of there. I stuttered, "Wh-wh-where are you taking us?"
"Out of the country," said the woman. "We'll be on the next plane to Cancun."
"Cancun?" I asked. "Where is that?"
"That would be in Mexico, kid," said the man sitting to her right. "Now shut up."
I went quiet after that. I was really scared about what was happening. These bad people that raised Danny were going to kill my new mom after Flora was born again. I didn't want that to happen. I already lost my old parents. I didn't want that to happen again.
"We'll be at the airport in just 15 minutes, Natasha," said the driver.
"Thank you, Mr. Balk," said Natasha. "Let's hope you can fly a plane as well as you can drive."
"You wanted a getaway driver," said Mr. Balk. "Of course I can fly a plane. And it's a good thing you also got a hacker and document forger with us. Isn't that right, Mr. Quinn?"
"I'm forging the documents as we speak," said Mr. Quinn, who was riding shotgun.
"And you better not think about trying to get away from us," said Natasha. "Or else our muscle, Mr. Pierce, will teach you all a lesson."
"Indeed," said Mr. Pierce. "So don't even think about trying to get away."
I was getting more scared at the moment. What am I supposed to do? Then I heard Mom starting to wake up. She then gasped. She then saw me and hugged me.
"Cody, are you okay?" Mom asked.
"I'm fine," I told her.
She then saw the roman and said, "Natasha! Where are you taking all of us?!"
"Out of the country," said Natasha.
"Well Solar Eclipse will save us!" said Rarity. "When he finds out you have us..."
"He won't be a problem," said Natasha. "This... Solar Eclipse... also known as Geoffrey Merlin, is currently in an asylum. Probably for the rest of his life."
"WHAT?!" Mom shouted, waking Danny and Alex at the process. When Danny saw his aunt and uncle, he screamed.
"Shut up, you ignorant brat!" said Natasha. "We are going out of the country, and no one can stop us from our plan."
"No! How are you able to get back to me?!" Danny asked, scared.
"Thanks to a special locket that Nightmare Moon left us," said Natasha. "And no hope relying on that male pony friend of yours. You're never going to get out of this this time."
"No!" shouted Danny. "You're not my family anymore!"
"You will never escape us," said Natasha. "We're getting on the next flight out of the country."
Then we saw that we pulled into a private airport. We were escorted towards a plane. I was really scared about what was about to happen. Along with Danny. He was more scared than I was. Although, we got a break when we heard Alex say four words of relief.
"I have to pee."
That made the five criminals stop. Natasha then spoke up and said, "Yeah. I guess you're right. It's best to go to the bathroom before a long flight. Plus, I don't think these planes have a bathroom."
"Go on and use the bathrooms," said Mr. Balk. "I'll choose the plane we'll hijack."
Then we separated to go to the bathroom. Mom and Alex were escorted into the ladies's room with Natasha while Danny and I were escorted by the other three men into the men's room.
As soon as we finished, we bolted out of the men's room, without getting grabbed by the bad guys. Luckily, the bathroom could be locked from the outside with a pad lock. Danny and I locked them in the bathroom. We were about to run, but then we saw Mom and Alex come out of the ladies's room and locked the door.
"I see you boys had the same idea," said Mom.
"Let's get out of here!" said Alex. All of us then started running. It was hard for mom to because of her pregnancy. We then saw some guys in suits.
"Mr. Philips," said one of them. "Is your name Daniel Philips?"
"Yeah," said Danny. "Why is that? Who are you?"
"Witness Protection," said the same man. "We got an anonymous tip the day that those criminals that escaped from prison would try and smuggle you and your friends and this woman out of the country, and we would find you four at this exact location, at this exact minute. We had a bet to see if this was going to be true. Looks like I lost."
"Sounds like a line from Back to the Future Part II," I said.
"I know, right?" said the man. "Anyway, we're getting the four of you on a different plane. We need to get you kids somewhere safe and in the country until those criminals are taken in."
"Where should we go?" Mom asked. "I doubt this Detroit is safe."
"Yeah," said the man. "Not a good idea to go towards the Motor City this time of the year."
"But where could we go?" Danny asked. "I'm going to be restless if we don't get out of here soon."
"Restless?" Alex asked. She then started thinking. "I know a place."
"Where to, little girl?" asked the man.
"Seattle, Washington," said Alex. "My old home."
(Third Person Point of View)
Mr. Pierce just bust open the bathroom door with Reginald and Mr. Quinn right behind him. Then he ripped the lock off of the ladies's room door. Then they saw a plane taking off and the kids and Rarity inside.
"Oh, crud!" said Reginald. They started chasing the plane but it was already too far. Then Mr. Balk ran up to them.
"Those brats just got on some other plane, didn't they?" he asked.
"Track that plane," said Natasha. "We'll stay hidden and when we find out where that plane lands, we'll head off there and get to where they land. Daniel, you are going to get an even worse punishment than all the other times you have gotten."
Nashville, Tennessee... Insane Asylum
Sunset pulled the car up to right outside an Insane Asylum. Twilight, Sunset, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy looked outside and at the Asylum.
"Are you sure that Solar Eclipse is in there?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"I'm sure he is," said Twilight. "I sense his magical surge. He's in there, alright. But the question is... how are we going to get him out of there?"
Sunset then pulled out a laptop and started typing on it. That got Applejack's attention when she asked, "What in the hay are ya doin'?"
"Hacking into the prison of which this woman, her husband and three other criminals escaped from," said Sunset as she was doing what she was saying. "Now I'm sending the information that the hacker of this group sent the anonymous tip to the state police."
"How do you know how to do that?" Twilight asked.
Sunset answered that question with a question of her own. "How do you think I hacked into Pinkie Pie's e-mail address at Canterlot High?"
Twilight thought about that and nodded, saying, "Okay, I see your point. Although, you were still evil back then."
"I don't wanna talk about it," said Sunset. She then finished typing and she pushed send. "And I'm done."
"Okay," said Rainbow Dash. "Now what?!"
"We wait," said Sunset. It might take a couple hours.
"I can't wait that long!" said Rainbow Dash. "Rarity, Danny, Alex and Cody are somewhere here in this world and we have to find them!"
"How long are we going to have to wait?" asked Twilight.
"Don't know," said Sunset. She then turned her head towards Pinkie Pie and asked, "Got something to pass the time?"
It has been two hours since then. The girls were playing card games waiting for Solar Eclipse to come. Then there was a knocking on the window. Outside was Solar Eclipse.
Twilight unlocked the door and then Solar Eclipse came into the van, saying, "Thanks for waiting for me."
"Alright, Solar Eclipse, we need to find Rarity and the kids," said Twilight. "We need to know where they are at the moment."
"They're on their way to Seattle at the moment," said Solar Eclipse. "We'll start driving there. But first... looks like we're gonna fill up on some gas."
"Good call," said Sunset. "I used up a lot of gas on our way here."
"Remember. When you're on a trip, remember to gas up the vehicle," said Solar Eclipse. "Put those cards away, put the seats back to normal, and buckle up. We're going for a ride."
Seattle, Washington
(Rarity's Point of View)
We arrived in Seattle, Washington. The city where Alex grew up. As a boy before Solar Eclipse saved him. The man from Witness Protection took us to a park. I had to sit down on a park bench to rest. I was really bloated and needed to get off my hooves turned feet.
"I'm gonna find the four of you a place to stay," said the man. "We might have to keep moving from place to place."
"I'm not sure I should travel anymore," I told the man. "I don't think it'll be healthy. For me or my baby."
"Don't worry, miss," said the man. "We'll try to get you someplace safe. I'm going to let the police know about you four. I'm sure you'll be fine."
"Alright," I said. "Thank you." He then walked away towards the exit. I then looked at Alex and asked, "Where should we go? You have the experience around this city."
"I know a place," said Alex. "My old orphanage."
"Do you think the people working there are going to be curious that there are three kids and a lady walking into an orphanage?" I asked.
"Nope," said Alex. "The orphanage shut down when I was being sent to foster care. But then there was that car crash and..." She then motioned an arm, making us get the hint.
"Oh, that's right," said Danny. "Alex nearly died, and got sent to Equestria as the other gender."
"So, what are we going to do when we get there?" asked Cody.
"Ever seen the movie, Home Alone?" asked Alex.
Then the boys looked around and saw the weather. Danny then said, "Well, looks like it's going to snow soon. We better get there fast."
"How did you know that?" asked Cody.
"Pegasi can tell what the whether is going to be," said Danny. "Mom took me on a tour of the Cloudsdale Weather Factory a long time ago."
"Well, we should head on over there," said Rarity. "Although, it might be hard for me to. So let's take it slow, kids."
"Okay..." said Cody, Danny and Alex. Cody said "Mom" while Danny and Alex said "Rarity" at the same time.
"Alex," said Danny, "you lead the way. This is the city you were originally from."
"Okay," said Alex. "Let's get going."
Then we all headed off somewhere. Hopefully it's not that long a walk from here to that old orphanage.

Solar Eclipse was driving across the country to get to Seattle, Washington. As soon as he got the location of where the kids and Rarity were, thanks to the magical aura that Rarity and Cody have, they headed off towards them.
"Seattle?" asked Sunset. "That's a weirdly specific name for a city here in this world."
"I know, right?" asked Pinkie Pie. "When I met Alex, she was really scared of where she was. She wanted to get back to Seattle and I thought she meant Seaddle." She then chuckled.
"Trying to leave out the part that Alex used to be a boy?" asked Twilight.
"Seriously?!" asked Sunset. "That kid, Alex, used to be a boy?!"
"My fault," said Solar Eclipse. "The kid was almost dead when I sent him-slash-her to Equestria."
"Sheesh," said Sunset. "That sounded almost as bad as when my little brother barely got into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns."
"I didn't know you had a little brother," said Twilight.
"Yeah," said Sunset. "He's a year and a half younger than me, and I helped him as much as I could... until the... incident."
"The mirror?" asked Applejack.
"Yep," said Sunset.
"Oh, what's your brother's name?" Fluttershy asked. She then covered her face with her hair and said, "If you don't mind me asking."
"Oh," said Sunset. "I don't mind. Anyway, my brother's name is Sunburst."
"Sunburst?!" exclaimed all the other girls.
"Wait, you all know him?" asked Sunset.
"We all met him at the Crystal Empire," said Twilight. "And, my friendship student, Starlight Glimmer, she used to be a foalhood friend of him. Until he was going to the School for Gifted Unicorns."
"How did he do when I was gone?" asked Sunset. "Did he do alright without me?"
"He..." Twilight started, but then chuckled nervously. "He... flunked... miserably. He didn't exactly know what to do then."
"Oh," said Sunset. "Remind me to visit my brother when we get back. I wanna go to him and apologize for bailing on him."
"That's a good call, sugarcube," said Applejack. "Y'all should go over to the Crystal Empire and see how he's doin'. Perhaps do some bonding time with him to catch up."
"Yeah," said Sunset. "I should one of these days. Hopefully he's okay."
"I'm sure he'll forgive you if you just go over to him and talk to him," said Twilight. "But right now, we have to focus. Rarity, Cody, Danny and Alex need our help."
"If that lady and her husband are as bad as you say they are," Sunset said, "then we should hurry and stop them before they can get their plan in motion."
"I just hope that Danny will be alright," said Rainbow Dash. "I'm supposed to keep Danny safe. No way I'm gonna let some sinister couple of humans take him away and forces him to do things he doesn't want to do."
"No one should ever do that to our kids!" shouted Pinkie Pie.
"How long until we get there, Solar Eclipse?" asked Twilight.
"It'll be a long drive there," said Solar Eclipse. "But it would be shorter if we took an airplane. But airports need some ID for you to get onto a plane. It usually takes weeks or months for the ID to be finished. Which we don't have time."
"You're right about that," said Twilight.
"But to answer your question, it'll take about two-to-three days for us to get to Seattle, Washington," said Solar Eclipse. "I just hope that they can take care of themselves."
"Rarity might not be much help," said Fluttershy. "She's pregnant and can't do much right now."
"Yeah," said Twilight. "I hope she's okay."
Seattle, Washington...
(Rarity's Point of View)
The kids and I were about to leave the park, but I wasn't as fast as they were. With me having a baby being born soon, I couldn't move that much. Although, the man from Witness Protection came back in a white car.
"Alright, ma'am," said the man, getting out of the car. He then opened up the front seat door for me, and he led me inside. The kids got into the back seat. "Let's get you to the safe house."
"Where is the safe house?" asked Alex.
"That, little girl, is actually across the street from an old orphanage that went under almost three years ago," said the man. "It's known as..."
"God's Orphanage for Hopeful Children?" Alex asked.
"Yes," said the man. "How do you know of that orphanage?"
"I... grew up in that orphanage," said Alex.
"Well, it ain't pretty from when you left it, kid," said the man.
"How bad did it crumble?" I asked. "For Alex's sake."
"Have any of you seen Home Alone 2: Lost in New York?" asked the man.
"I've seen it," said Danny. "Haven't seen it since... well..."
"Since you were sent to your aunt and uncle who saw you as more of a slave than a family member?" asked Cody.
"My mom was disowned by the rest of the family," said Danny. "They cared about being rich more than being a normal family. My mom cared about being happy and wanted to do some fun things. That was until she and my dad were killed by my aunt and uncle."
"What was your aunt's maiden name?" asked the man.
"She kept her maiden name," said Danny. "Natasha Regal."
"Is your grandma's name Margaret Regal?" asked the man.
"It is," said Danny. "Why?"
"Well... she passed away about five years ago," said the man. "At least now, there's less worry. But, you all won't be safe for long."
"How are we going to get those criminals back into custody?" I asked. "I can't do much."
"Wait a minute," said Cody. "Home Alone. We could set up traps in that old orphanage, and have the bad guys think we're hiding out in there."
"And we'll set up a lot of security cameras at where the traps will be sprung," said the man. "You're a genius, kid. Let's get going. We got a lot of things to do."
We then pulled up to a small house across the street from the orphanage that Alex grew up at when she was a boy. The man helped me inside the house. The place was already set up with some furniture, and I'll head out to get you all some groceries."
"Thank you, darling," I said. "I just hope that we'll be able to stop those ruffians."
"They are ruffians on a whole other level," said the man. He led me to the front door, and he unlocked it. He then led me to the couch, and the kids came up to me. "Now, all of you stay here until I come back with food and what we need to stiffen up the bad guys. If there's more needed, we'll just have to improvise and use the environment around the old orphanage."
"Good idea," said Alex. "In all of the Home Alone movies, the kid always uses his environment. It might be best to use what we can around there."
"Alright" said the man. "I'll be back. You all stay here. I'll be back as soon as I can with all the stuff. I should probably get the food last so it won't get spoiled."
"Good call," I said. "It's better not spoiled." The man then left the house and got into his car. I just hope that the criminals will be stopped. Or at least, the kids would be able to slow him down.
Three Hours Later...
(Cody's Point of View)
Danny, Alex, the man from Witness Protection and I were setting up traps for later. When the guy came in with power tools, dumbbells, a car battery charger, video cameras and walkie talkies, we were confused at first, but then we thought about the Home Alone movies. We also had to put in some traps that were never used in the Home Alone movies.
Mom stayed in the safe house across the street. The man from Witness Protection set up hidden cameras to plant all over the house. Luckily, we got the cameras connected to the TV in the safe house. And for some reason, I was imagining this song playing as we were setting up the traps:
When we finished, we headed back into the safe house. The man got us some pizza from Alex's old favorite pizza place. Flying Squirrel Pizza Co. I had to say, it was really good. Even mom thought so. We got here an Extra Large Vegetarian Pizza just for her since she's eating for two. We have to wait for the bad guys to come and find us.
"This is very good pizza, Alex," said Mom. "Good thinking of making a recommendation."
"Indeed," said the man from Witness Protection. "I would have to figure out how those pizza guys make this pizza so good."
"My adoptive mother tried making some pizza," said Alex. "It was just as good as this pizza. It was a close second, but it was still good."
"Oh," Mom said. "It would seem that Flora is wanting to come out, soon."
"Flora?" asked the man from Witness Protection. "Is that the name of your baby? How would you even know it's a girl?"
"Oh... we have our ways of knowing," said Mom. She then put a hand to her stomach. "Ooh. She's wanting out."
"I'll be sure to contact the paramedics to come and pick you up if your water breaks," said the man from Witness Protection. The more he spoke, he sounded... familiar.
"So, how long until we can come out of hiding?" asked Danny.
"Depends," said the man. "It'll depend on whether or not they will come for you or if they have been apprehended. I'm sure you all will be safe here until then. You better prepare." He then got up, and he handed Rarity the keys to the house. "Stay inside. Not until it's time to come back out."
We all nodded. Hopefully, we might have Danny's evil aunt and uncle, and those other criminals put behind bars for good.
Somewhere in the Sky
(Third Person Point of View)
In an airplane, Natasha, Reginald, and the three other convicts were flying towards Seattle. Natasha was giving off a sinister look, making sure that she will not fail this time.
"You better not try anything, Daniel," said Natasha. "You and your friends will be nothing but tools to get us rich again."
Somewhere in South Dakota...
Solar Eclipse, Twilight Sparkle and her friends are staying in a hotel at the moment. They came into a hotel room to rest for the night.
"This is going to be some rescue mission," said Rainbow Dash. "If I would be able to fly, I would be there in 10 seconds."
"It won't be that easy," said Solar Eclipse. "Seattle is over 2,000 miles from Nashville. You wouldn't even be there in 10 minutes. 4 hours maybe, but I don't think you have the endurance to make it that far."
"That sounds about right," said Twilight. "But we really should be going there together. I know you're worried about Danny and Rarity. We all are. We're all at our best when we work together."
"I have to agree with that, Rainbow Dash," said Sunset. "We all have to work together to save Rarity and those kids. You're strong by yourself, but you're stronger with friends by your side."
"Huh," said Rainbow Dash. "Now that you put it that way, I guess you make a point."
"Yeah, Dashie," said Pinkie Pie. "We did so many things together that nopony could ever ever ever ever do alone. Like when we first battled Nightmare Moon, or Discord, or the Changelings, or King Sombra, or Tirek, or Starlight Glimmer. There are some things that we couldn't do on our own."
"Pinkie... makes a good point," said Fluttershy. "We all have to get to them before something bad happens."
"Otherwise, it'll be too late," said Solar Eclipse. "We shall leave at 6 AM tomorrow. Set the alarm clocks to 5:30. We're going to need to head out as soon as we can."
They all nodded in agreement. They were going to need all what they need rest for the continuing travel to Seattle. This would be one long trip for the seven of them.
We waited about a day and a half for the bad guys to find us. We got a call from the man from Witness Protection called us and told us that the bad guys would be on our way to our location tomorrow. On this February day, it would be hard for just three kids to take down five grown ups.
Danny, Alex and I walked towards the old orphanage. We were preparing to get the traps prepared. I looked out the window on the second floor, waiting for any bad guys to come in. Alex looked in the back side because there was a door on the back gate. Then Alex's voice came out of a walkie talkie.
"We got the muscle and the hacker coming in the back gate," Alex's voice came from the walkie talkie. "As that parrot said, 'Let the Party Begin'."
Safe House...
(Rarity's Point of View)
I was watching the whole thing from inside the safe house. There were so many traps set up and there were cameras set up across the old orphanage. I just hope that the kids would be able to take care of themselves.
"Oh," I said. Flora was desperately wanting to come out. I tried my best to keep her calm enough so we wouldn't get spotted. "Flora, I know you want out, but you're going to have to wait."
Flora stayed settled down. But she did put out gentle kick. I could feel that she was sorry. I then looked at the security camera screen and saw that there were some guys heading into the old orphanage. My heart clenched to see that the kids were in danger.
"Oh, my," I said. "Be careful, kids."

(Third Person Point of View)
Mr. Pierce and Mr. Quinn were heading towards the back door. They then split off where Mr. Quinn heading for the front door. They even had their own headsets for a private channel for them to communicate.
Mr. Quinn made it to the front door and saw some yarn tied up against two poles in front of the door, and a paper sign that said "DANGER! ELECTRICAL ENERGY! Don't Get Electrocuted!" He then chucked and said, "Pierce, I think I'm gonna enjoy this. It's been 25 years since I was a little kid. You forget how dumb they really are."
Mr. Pierce came up to a boarded up door with a metal chair and there were some jumper cables attached to a golf cart battery. He didn't notice it and said, "Well, you better be careful. Sometimes when a kid gets scared, they wet themselves." He set down his bag of tools and then he decided to sit down on the chair, but gt a shocking surprise. He regretted having power tool batteries on his belt. It made the electrocution even worse.
Mr. Quinn had a similar situation when using wire cutters to cut the yarn, only to see that there was wired and the wire was connected to a plug and it was plugged in. Both of their electrifying experience lasted for 20 seconds each. The electricity cut a hole through Quinn's pants, and Mr. Pierce was flung off the chair like it was an ejector seat.
Both of them were trying to recover, but Mr. Quinn got angry and tried jumping over the wire, and landed on the doormat. Unbeknownst to him, there were marbles under the doormat, moving the doormat and himself towards the front door, and banging his head. He then fell over, leaving a bruise. Then Reginald walked up to him.
"Mr. Quinn. What on Earth are you doing?" asked Reginald.
"The yarn... it's electrified," said Mr. Quinn. "Don't touch it." Reginald then grabbed the poles holding the wired yarn, without touching the wires, and pulled them off, unplugging it in the process.
"We can't afford any distractions, Mr. Quinn," said Reginald. He then helped up his teammate and asked, "Have you tried the door?"
"Not yet," said Mr. Quinn. "Why?"
"Look," said Reginald. He had his fingers on a nearly invisible wire tied to the door knocker. The two of them looked up and saw some barbells over the roof.
"Missed that..." said Mr. Quinn, weakly.
"Stand clear," said Reginald as he grabbed his pocket knife. He then cut the wire and then the wire went somewhere. What they didn't know was the wire was tied to a tape measure with a skateboard with a trunk on it on an ironing board at an angle going out the window. The tape measure was going back as fast as it could, but it was taking time. Reginald and Mr. Quinn thought it was a decoy and Reginald said, "Maybe these kids aren't as smart as they thought."
"Perhaps we're just having an off day," said Mr. Quinn. But then the tape measure fully retracted, getting out of the way of the skateboard, rolling it down the ironing board, stopping, the trunk flying off of it, going through the window, getting the attention of the bad guys, making them gasp and then scream right before the trunk collided with them, and a bunch of thick, hard-cover books came out, scattering all over them. They were knocked out for a few seconds.
They shook the dizziness off of them, and tried getting back up. Meanwhile, in the attic, Alex was waiting with some hedge clippers, getting ready to cut a thicker wire, which was connected to the barbells. Luckily, she was the one who set up that trap, and she kept her Earth Pony Strength. She then said, "Heads up!" and cut the wire, making the barbells fall, right as Reginald and Mr. Quinn were just about to get up, and it landed on their heads, pushing them back down.
Then Natasha came up to them, saying, "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. You tried going after kids, and you got knocked out by a book."
"Books," Mr. Quinn debated. "Plural. A trunk... full of books. And a set of weights. We got hit twice, Natasha."
"We didn't think that the children would prepare defenses while we were looking for them," said Reginald. "I'll go in the side. Natasha, why don't you take the back door just in case the kids try to escape out the back door?" Natasha nodded. "And Quinn, you go into one window on the side. Where's Mr. Pierce?"
Back with Mr. Pierce, he was getting up. He was mad. "Guys, come in!" He got no response. He then checked the battery for his earpiece and saw that the machine was fried. "Dang it. He then looked up and saw an open window. He then smiled, and walked towards the shed where the nuns kept the buses for field trips. He then walked towards the door and bashed it open.
Unbeknownst to him, Reginald came around the corner and then headed towards one window which was covered by wooden cover doors that could be opened from the inside. He then brought out his knife and started to try and unlock it.
A moment ago...
(Cody's Point of View)
I got a message from mom that Reginald was coming towards the side window, where the slingshot trap was. There were some stretch cords with hooks and at the end was an old pair of boxers with a water balloon and some plaster. It was tied to the back with a string tied to a pencil, which I was holding.
Reginald then opened the window, and the slingshot trap was stretched to it's max. He then saw the trap, and then he saw me. He was surprised. I smiled and I said to him, "Hi."
He got nervous and then I activated the trap, and the water balloon and plaster headed right towards him, hitting him in the face, making him land on the other side of the driveway, knocking him out. I then closed the doors on the window, and locked it, and then padlocked it. I headed off towards the entryway, waiting for the next guy to come.
(Third Person Point of View)
Natasha was heading towards the right side to get in through the back. The gate was locked. She reached over to unlock it, unbeknownst to find out there was a bucket of industrial-strength glue hanging off the locking mechanism.
Then it went to Mr. Quinn. He was about to turn the door knob, but instead, it was pulled out, connected to a cord. He then started pulling on the cord, trying to find the end of it. As soon as he reached the end, it stopped. On the other side of the door, the cord was connected to a staple gun. He was about to keep pulling on it, got the cord between his legs, and then he pulled it as hard as he can, and then a staple went through the door lock, and it stapled the cord to his butt. Shouting out, "YEEEEEEOOOOW!!"
Then it went to the garage. Mr. Pierce was looking in there for a ladder so he could get up to the second story window. As soon as he spotted the ladder, he walked over to pick it up. He then turned his head towards his right to look at the door. But then he looked at one of the buses, and saw the shadow of someone in the window. He then smiled, and shouted, "I got one of them!" He then ran onto that bus. As soon as he got on, he pulled a tripwire, and the doors to the bus shut, and the sound of something came up. He looked over and saw where he thought was one of the kids was really a CPR dummy. And then the sound of whirling got his attention. There, he saw an automatic tennis ball launcher filled with rocks and ice balls. It fired all of its ammo at him, pushing him down on the floor, and burying him in rocks and ice balls.
It then went back to Natasha. She decided to go over the gate, but realized too late that the ground was really muddy, making her trip on a tripwire, pulling down some bricks from the ceiling, landing on her head and knocking her out.
It went back to Mr. Quinn. He was slowly recovering from getting that string stapled to his but. He was turning around, which was a mistake because it activated the staple gun again, stapling the string to his private parts, making him lean down so he was eye level with the key hole, and the staple gun firing again, making the staple going onto the tunnel of his nose, and he fell on his back after.
Then it went back to Reginald. He was getting up from being hit by that plaster trap. He coughed up some of it, and then he got what was left of the water balloon out of his mouth and then he tried cleaning his face.
It then went to the garage. Mr. Pierce was recovering from getting pummeled by ice and rocks. He then felt his head, and he had a gash on it. Then he got worried, ran out of the bus, taking an ice ball with him, and headed to a paper towel dispenser, and he held the ice ball and paper towel to where the gash was. He then said, "I sure hope this garage has a first aid kit. I'm going to have to cover up this gash in about 15 minutes."
It then went back to the front door. Mr. Quinn just recovered and pulled out the staples and spring. Then he kicked the door open. Sitting on the stairs in front of him was Cody. He gasped when he saw him.
"Gotcha kid!" said Mr. Quinn. He took a step forward and not seeing a huge hole, he landed on the cement floor in the basement.
"Ooooh," said Cody. "That's gotta hurt. I might have to tell the cops to give him a chiropractor."
It then went back to where Natasha was. She was back up, trying to get herself through the mud, but then she got her foot stuck under the mud and then she tripped, landing on another trip wire, and noticing a flower pot coming down, and it landed on her face.
Then it went to Reginald. He came to another open window, and he then pulled up the rolling window screen, but there was a ruler holding up the window, and when the screen came up, the ruler came out and the window came down, landing on his head, pushing him back out.
Then it went back to Mr. Quinn. He was getting up from that tremendous fall. He then looked up and saw the hole. He then said, "Wow! That's a huge hole!" He then looked around, looking for a way out. He then stepped forward, not noticing the floor was covered in liquid bath soap. He was slipping, trying to keep his balance. Too bad for him he doesn't know how to ice skate. He then slipped, fell, and he was sliding right towards some bookshelves full of paint, screaming all the way there. It fell over when he made contact, him saying, "Uh oh." Then he got crushed by the bookshelves.
Then it went back to Reginald. He used a pine tree branch to hold up the window, and he climbed inside. He put his feet down, and they landed in two rolling tubs for toys, and both of them were filled with some sticky much. He tried pulling his left foot out of one of them, but it was stuck. He then grumbled.
Then it went to Natasha in the back yard. She checked the steps to see if they were trapped. The middle of each step was cut. She said, "Well, well, well..." She then put her hands on the hand railing, and swung her feet. "Not fooling me this time, kids." What she didn't know was that the end of the railings were also cut, and they went apart, making her land on the pre-cut steps.
Then it went to the basement. Mr. Quinn got out from under the bookshelf, covered in different paint colors, even some stinging his eyes. He went over to a shelf, and grabbed a roll of paper towels, and cleaned his face off. He then noticed a sink in the basement. He walked over towards it. What he didn't know was that Danny was down there with a car battery charger, connected to the sink pipes. He then turned it on right as Mr. Quinn was just about to turn on the sink. Basically, it went down like this.
Danny basically ran away, and headed for the dumbwaiter that was down there. He pushed the button to the attic, and headed up when Mr. Quinn was trying to recover from the electric shock.
It went back to the backyard. Natasha was stretching out to get her composure back. She was back a few feet from the broken porch steps. Then she said, "Oh, Daniel. You might have forgotten that I took track and field in high school. Six and a half meters in the long jump." She then started running, and she jumped over the steps, and landed on the porch. She then smiled and stepped forward. But the planks under her were unscrewed and cut, and she fell down in front of the basement door entrance underneath the porch. She was in pain from that fall.
Then it went to Mr. Pierce. He recovered and had a bandage over the gash on his head, and he was bringing the ladder so he could climb it to the open 2nd floor window. He climbed it and he was about to put his feet down on the covered floor. He then said, "Now, things are looking up!" Then the door on the other side of the room opened, and there was Alex. She gasped, and then Mr. Pierce said, "Gotcha, girl!" He then put his feet on the covered floor, but there was a huge hole underneath the paint blanket, and he was screaming all the way down.
"See ya," said Alex as Mr. Pierce was falling. Mr. Pierce then landed on a toilet in the basement. Then the toilet broke right under him.
Then it went to Reginald. He was rolling all over the place as he was trying to get to the basement stairs. He then opened it, and then he announced, "I'm coming down!" There was a screwed up board across the doorway, making Reginald trip and flip over, then he uncontrollably skated down the stairs. He then hit the washing machine in the basement, caught his hand on a mousetrap, and then he slipped. The mouse trap had a string connected to it, and it was connected to a pipe above him, and the pipe broke off, leaking a lot of grey water onto his head, draining all the toilets from the floors above him.
Mr. Balk stayed in the car, waiting for his group to get back with the kids. He then asked, "What's taking so long?" He then grabbed his earpiece and put it on his ear. He then said, "Natasha? Reginald? Anybody? Are the kids caught?" He then looked around. He then got out of the car, grabbed a gun, and then headed towards the door. He then noticed that the back porch was damaged. He looked down the hole and saw Natasha. He then headed down the stairs that led right to her and as he came down, he asked, "Natasha. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," said Natasha. She then took his gun and said, "I'm gonna kill one of those kids. Just to teach the other two a lesson in disobeying me. Then I'll kill the pregnant prissy lady after the baby is born."
Seattle Police Department...
Solar Eclipse, Twilight and her friends walked into the police department, and walked up to the front desk. There was one officer there, taking in phone calls. She finished up one phone call.
"Can I help you?" asked the receptionist lady.
"Ma'am," said Solar Eclipse, "have you heard about those five escaped convicts from the prison in Memphis, Tennessee?"
"Yes," said the receptionist lady. "Why do you ask?"
"They have been spotted here in Seattle," said Solar Eclipse. "They've been spotted in the shut down orphanage. God's Orphanage for Hopeful Children."
"Oh, I'm on it," said the receptionist lady. "I'll let all units know." She then grabbed a microphone, and called out, "All units. The escaped convict from Memphis, Tennessee have been spotted at the old orphanage that shut down two years ago. All units report there ASAP."
Then Solar Eclipse and the girls went out of the police station.
"This was a good plan," said Sunset. "Good call, Solar Eclipse."
"Sonny, while we're here, call me Geoffrey," said Solar Eclipse. "But the job's not done yet. We have to get the kids back before they get them."
The six of them headed back to the car. Hopefully, they'll get Rarity and the kids back before any trouble.
Natasha and Mr. Balk came in to the basement from outside, breaking the door in the progress. Natasha then called out, "Reginald! Mr. Quinn! Mr. Pierce!"
"Welcome!" said Mr. Pierce. Both Natasha and Balk looked over and saw him sitting on a broken toilet.
"What happened to your face, Pierce?" asked Mr. Balk.
"You don't wanna know," said Mr. Pierce.
Then Mr. Quinn came towards them, fidgeting, whimpering and crawling.
"What happened to you?" asked Natasha to Mr. Quinn.
"I fell, slipped, got painted, then got shocked by an electric sink," said Mr. Quinn.
Then the sound of plastic wheels came in, and the noise was coming from Reginald, his head covered in grey water, and his pants had fallen down. He then asked Mr. Pierce, "Are you almost done in there?"
"Don't... start with me," said Mr. Pierce.
(Cody's Point of View)
We all went up to the attic. We were watching the bad guys recover from all the damage they taken. We were surprised that the getaway driver hadn't taken any damage.
"Wow. That one guy is lucky," said Danny.
"Yeah," I said. "And we're not done with them yet. We got some more traps."
"Then we'll set them up to fall into the hands of the police," said Alex. "I hope they get here, soon."
I then grabbed my walkie talkie and said into it, "Mom? How are you holding up?"
"I'm doing fine for now, Cody," said Mom through the walkie talkie. "Your sister is eager to get out."
"Oh, boy," I said. "I remember that the first time she was born."
"What happened?" asked Alex.
"Before Flora as born, she was struggling a lot before the water breaks," I said. "Mom, if she kicks a lot more than now, it means she wants out now. She's going to break your water soon."
"Oh, boy," Mom said. "I better get myself to the hospital."
"No," said Alex. "If you call the paramedics, then the bad guys will know where you are."
"Aunt Natasha is smarter than that," said Danny. "She always has another step ahead of us. But not until we play the wild card."
"We better stop them soon," I said. "We have to keep them away from mom and us."
"Right," said Danny and Alex. "Let's get started."
Then we got started. Alex headed down the stairs to the second floor. Then Danny walked over to where a string was connected to something in the floor below.

The bad guys came up from the basement. They were all upset that the kids tricked them with traps. Reginald came up with a pair of coveralls from the janitor's closet. They were baggier than what he was wearing, but at least they would be able to cover him up.
Natasha and Reginald were angry. Natasha then said, "Find those kids. Check upstairs."
Then Quinn, Pierce and Balk headed upstairs. But the sound of Alex's voice came up, her saying, "Oh, no. I'm really scared!"
"Get her!" said Mr. Pierce as he, Balk and Quinn started running upstairs. Then the sound of a child crying came from a closet. Then Mr. Balk headed over to the door.
"This'll be a piece of cake," said Mr. Balk. "The girl is the first to go." He then put his hand on the door handle. He started turning the door handle and then he said, "You're dead, little girl." Then he opened the door fast, and then a boxing glove on a pole connected to a rocking chair came out, and punched Mr. Balk in the crotch. He let out a low volume, high-pitched gasp of pain.
"Ooh, that's gotta hurt," said Mr. Quinn. "Let's check the bedrooms." They started looking around for the kids. They were looking all of the other rooms but couldn't find anything.
Mr. Balk was slowly recovering, as he was trying to search for the kids. Downstairs, Natasha and Reginald were wondering something.
"Wait a minute," said Reginald. "What about the pregnant pony woman?"
"You're right," said Natasha. "She has to be close by. Let's look around."
Then it went back upstairs. Mr. Pierce headed for a door that would lead to the attic. He grabbed the door knob, turned it and pulled it. But there was a string connected to the door knob. Then the sound of clanging metal was coming down from inside, clanging rapidly. That got the attention of Balk and Quinn.
"What's that sound?" asked Mr. Quinn. The three of them put their ears to the door. On the other side of the door, there was a tool chest rolling down the stairs. Then the tool chest pushed the door off of its hinges, pushing Pierce, Quinn and Balk towards the wall right behind them, making them all groan in pain.
With the sound of a stuffy nose, Mr. Balk said, "That was the sound of a tool chest. Falling down the stairs."
The other two groaned in realization, and then they all put their noses back in position. As the chest was falling down the stairs, Cody, Danny and Alex went down the dumbwaiter to the basement. They grabbed the jackets that were hanging on and they put them on.Alex took out the bottom of the dumbwaiter and the light bulb lighting it. Then she grabbed a toy robot, and activated it, and it was slowly walking towards the controls of the dumbwaiter. It was holding a fake gun, and when it reaches the controls, it'll push the button to the attic. Then she and the boys headed out the door going through the backyard.
Balk, Pierce and Quinn went up to the attic where they were searching for the kids.
"Where are they?!" shouted Mr. Pierce.
Mr. Quinn looked at a TV that was looking all over the place. He then said, "They've been watching us the whole time. They got cameras on us."
"Where are they now?" asked Mr. Balk.
Outside, Cody, Danny and Alex were near the back gate. Then Alex shouted, "You're not gonna find us up their you law breaking dumb-dumbs!"
That got the attention of the crooks in the attic, making all of them say, "They're outside." Then they ran to the window and they saw the kids.
"How did they get outside?" asked Mr. Pierce. Then they noticed a trampoline set up in the backyard. He then smirked and said, "C'mon, Quinn. Let's get them. Mr. Balk, cover us."
"Got it," said Mr. Balk. Then Mr. Pierce and Quinn climbed out the window and onto the roof.
"Ready, Quinn?" Mr. Pierce asked, getting a nod from Mr. Quinn. "One... two... three!" Then the two of them jumped off of the roof, and they headed for the trampoline. But what they didn't know was that some of the coils on the trampoline were unhinged, and the two of them went through the trampoline, and under the pool that was covered in snow while the handle bars and the diving board were on the other side.
Mr. Balk was surprised. He then said, "The ol' Switcheroo." But then the toy in the basement pushed the button to the dumbwaiter, taking it to the attic. That got the attention of Mr. Balk. He then smiled and said, "Of course." He then walked over to it when the dumbwaiter stopped. Then he climbed into it, saying, "Here I come, you little brats." What he didn't realize until it was too late that the bottom was missing. Then he fell down the shaft, screaming. When he crashed, a bunch of dust came from the door. "Ow!"
(Cody's Point of View)
The three of us headed right towards the safe house to get to mom. We headed on inside to get to mom. Danny, Alex and I came in.
"Mom! We're here!" I shouted. We then headed towards the stairs to look for her. But then we got surprised by the sound of a bullet firing. We turned around and saw Natasha and Reginald.
"Thank you for leading us here, kids," said Natasha. "But you all have a lesson to learn. You disobey us... you pay the price." She then aimed the gun at me. I was getting scared. "Remember this, Daniel. Friendship... is useless. You and the girl get on the couch." Then she said to me, "You, on the other hand, this is the last day of your life." She pulled the cock on the gun, and was about to squeeze the trigger.
"STAY AWAY FROM MY SON, YOU UNCOUTH WOMAN!!" came Mom's voice. Then the sound of a piano was going down the stairs, and Natasha and Reginald were in it's path. They got pushed out the door, and they got knocked out.
We saw mom come down the stairs, holding her belly with her left hand and keeping her right hand on the handrail. I then called out, "Mom!"
"Are you okay, Cody?" Mom asked.
"I'm fine, Mom," I said, hugging her. "You saved me."
"Of course I did," said Mom. "You're my son, and I love you. Along with your sister."
"I love you, too, Mom," I said. "Now, let's get the authorities here."
Then the police arrived. They got all five of the criminals, and they were loading them into the car. Twilight, her friends, and two other people I didn't recognize came up to us.
Natasha noticed Solar Eclipse and widened her eyes in surprise. “HOW?!” demanded Natasha furiously, “How did you escape?”
“There’s this new thing these days,” replied Solar Eclipse, “it’s called the truth. Back when she was evil, my new friend Sunset Shimmer had some amazing tech skills, hacking and the like. It was that knowledge that helped her expose your lies to that asylum, and the police. You might as well give up, you two... again.”
Natasha got really angry. Then she looked over at Danny, and said to him, "“You haven’t seen the last of us, Daniel Philips. You and your friends, along with your pathetic excuse for an adoptive mother, may have beaten us this time, but we’ll be back, and when that time comes, you’ll soon realize that turning on us was a big mistake.”
Danny got angry at her and said, “That’s where you’re dead wrong. The only mistake I see here is that you thought you could mess with my friends and my new family, especially with Solar Eclipse, and get away with it."
Natasha then shouted again, but it was muffled because the door got shut. Then a police man banged on the door and then the van holding the hostages pulled off into the streets.
"Oh," said Mom.
"Are you alright, Rarity?" asked Twilight.
"I'll be fine, darling," said Rarity. "Flora seems to be a little bit feisty." Then her eyes widened. She looked down and saw that the pants she was wearing were soaked. "Oh, no."
"What is it?" asked Applejack.
"MY WATER BROKE!" shouted Mom.
The police heard and walked towards her in a hurry. One of them said, "Alright, ma'am. We're getting you to the hospital. Bring in the paramedics!"
Then an ambulance pulled up. Then two guys in the back came out with a gurney and then they loaded Mom onto it. Then they got her into the back. I got into the back with her since she's my mom. Then the ambulance doors closed and then it drove off.
(Third Person Point of View)
The rest of them watched as the ambulance pulled away. The Mane 6, Solar Eclipse, Danny and Alex watched as they were leaving.
"Do you wanna know something?" asked Alex. "Before I left, there wasn't a house in this lot, and yet this house looks really old."
"Really?" asked Twilight. "If there wasn't an old house here before you left, where did this place come from?"
Then the man from Witness Protection came up to them right after the police left. The Mane 6, Solar Eclipse, Danny and Alex looked at him. Danny then asked, "Who are you really?"
Solar Eclipse then smiled. Then he said, "Nice to see you again, old friend. I'm guessing it was you who sent Cody and Flora to Equestria. Isn't that right, Discord?"
"DISCORD?!" asked the other eight.
Then the man snapped his fingers, then there was a flash and the entire house disappeared. Then the man snapped his fingers again, and in that man's place was Discord.
"It is a pleasure to see you again, old friend," said Discord.
"Solar Eclipse, you know Discord?" asked Twilight.
"We've been friends since we were little colts in school," said Solar Eclipse. "Both of us were unicorns. Then one day, my parents and I moved to the city of Canterlot. And then one day, came... well... how I became the first male alicorn. I wasn't really ready for this."
"I didn't know what Solar Eclipse was banished, which was house I became the Lord of Chaos back then," said Discord. "He was my best... and only friend back then."
"Oh, my," said Fluttershy.
"Now that things are okay," said Solar Eclipse. "Now, how about we get all of you to the hospital where Cody and Rarity are. It's time to see them. Let's go."
"Well, I'm heading back to Equestria," said Discord. "I'll see you when you get back." Then he snapped his fingers and vanished. Then the rest of them got into the van and then Solar Eclipse drove off, getting all of them to the hospital.
I was pacing in a straight line across the waiting room. Mom had been in the maternity ward for a while. I was getting worried about her. Then the door opened, and in came Twilight and her friends, along with Danny and Alex.
"Cody, are you okay?" asked Twilight.
"I'm fine," I said. "I'm just worried about Mom. She's going into labor and there's nothing I can do to help. I'm really worried. I just hope that Mom will handle Flora from here on."
"I'm sure Rarity will be able to handle it," said Rainbow Dash. "She's able to handle anything. Even with her friends by her side."
"Rainbow Dash is right, Cody," said Pinkie Pie. "Rarity will be able to handle it. And no way we're going to let Rarity go through this alone."
"We'll be able to help you two as much as we can," said Twilight.
"Thank you, Twilight," said Cody. "I just hope that Mom would be able to take all that pain."
4 Painful Hours Later...
(Rarity's Point of View)
I was breathing heavily. That was really painful, but it was worth it to give that baby back life.
"Congratulations, ma'am," said a doctor, handing me the baby, who was crying in his arms. "It's a beautiful, baby girl." I smiled as I held the baby in my arms.
"Hello... Flora..." I said, soothingly to her. Flora then started to calm down. I then looked up at the doctor and asked, "How long do I have to stay here until we leave?"
"You'll be able to leave in 24 hours," said the doctor. "Now, let's get your baby girl into a diaper, and we'll get you some much needed rest."
"Wait," I said. "Send Cody in. He should see his baby sister."
"Right away, ma'am," said the doctor. "Send in the kid that was with this woman in the ambulance."
"Right away," said the nurse. She then headed out. I just wanted Cody to see his sister again.
A few moments later, Cody came running in, and ran over to the bed. He smiled to see his little sister again. He then said, "She's beautiful, Mom."
"And she has a wonderful big brother she has to look up to," I told him. "'We're going to have to stay the night. Less then 24 hours, we'll be able to leave. You understand, right?"
"Yeah, mom," said Cody. "I understand." I then pulled him in for a hug. A family group hug. If only Sweetie Belle was here with us. But, she's back home in Equestria. I'm sure she'll be able to meet Flora for the first time, and she'll be happy about it.
Equestria... One Week Later...
We returned to Equestria. All of us. I had put Flora in her new crib for her nap. Cody and Sweetie Belle watched as I set Flora in her new crib.
"She's so cute," Sweetie Belle said, quietly.
"Yeah," said Cody. "Flora really is cute."
"Alright, you two," I said, quietly. "It's time to get on out of here. Flora really needs her rest."
"Okay, Rarity," said Sweetie Belle. Then the two of them headed on out of the room. I then turned my head towards Flora, then I leaned in and kissed her on the forehead, just under her horn. I saw that Flora smiled after I did that. I then quietly walked out of the door. I saw Cody and Sweetie Bell waiting outside for me.
"When do you think is a good time to tell her?" asked Cody.
"Tell her what?" I asked.
"About her origin," said Cody.
"Well..." I said, thinking. "Perhaps we should wait until she's a proper age. Perhaps when she's eight we'll be able to tell her. But for right now, let her be a sweet little baby."
"Oh, I just can't wait," said Sweetie Belle. "Not only did I get a nephew, but a cute little niece as well. I can't wait to help raise her."
"That's the spirit, Sweetie Belle," I said. "Now, how about I get you two some lunch made. Let's head on down."
We headed on down to the kitchen area. Just as I was about to pull out some ingredients for quesadilla, thank goodness Twilight isn't here, there was a knocking on the kitchen door leading outside. I walked over to the door and outside was Diamond Tiara.
"Diamond Tiara," said Rarity. "How have you been doing, dear?"
"I've been doing fine," said Diamond Tiara. "I heard you all got back. And I see you got the baby out of you."
"Yes," I said. "Flora is asleep at the moment. Why don't you come in for some lunch."
"Sure," said Diamond Tiara. She walked in and sat at the table next to Cody. "Hi, Cody."
"Hi, Diamond," said Cody.
"I see that you two are becoming good friends," I said.
"It's more than that, Rarity," said Sweetie Belle. "Cody and Diamond are in love with each other."
"Really?!" I nearly shouted, but remembered to keep my voice down. "Aww. My little son has a filly friend. That's sweet. Now, let's get prepared to eat." I then thought to myself, "My little colt is growing up so fast. I hope his future turns out bright."
15 Years Later...
I couldn't believe it. After fifteen years, my son Cody, has grown up, and gotten married to Diamond Tiara. My son sure has grown up. A year after Flora was reborn, he, Danny and Alex have gotten their Cutie Marks. Cody's Cutie Mark is a city with a shooting star going across the sky, representing him bringing the town of Ponyville up. Danny's Cutie Mark is six bolts of lightning in six different colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple. He got it performing a Sonic Rainboom. Rainbow Dash was so proud of him that day. And Alex's mark was of a birthday cake with streamers and balloons around it. Pinkie sure has been teaching her a lot about parties.
And today, my son has married the mare of his dreams ever since they met as foals. And they were married by, none other than the ruler of Equestria for over 10 years, Princess Twilight Sparkle. As a side bonus, Filthy Rich and I settled to an agreement. Cody would help Filthy Rich at his store while Diamond Tiara helps out at my boutique here in Ponyville.
And as for Flora, when we told her about her origin, she was a little upset at first, but when we said that when it was the only way to save her life, she was stunned. So, that night, I let her sleep with me.
Alex and Danny got married as well. Alex was worried at first about marrying Danny, but as time came along, she was becoming less and less worried. She's now happy with her new way of life.
I was a little upset that Cody was going off to the Crystal Empire for his and Diamond's Honeymoon, but I knew he would be back. At least I would have Flora to keep me company. Cody and Diamond purchased a nice house close to my boutique and Filthy Rich's store. It has up to five bedrooms. I'm starting to think they're going to start a family of their own, soon.
Flora and I headed on to our home. I was sad to see him grow up. I still remember when Cody was just a little colt. I was about to go up to my room and cry. But then Flora grabbed my foreleg.
"Mom?" Flora asked. "Are you going to be okay?"
I still remembered I had more than one child. I smiled at her, pulled her in for a hug and said, "I'll be fine. Promise me one thing. When you get married, try not to leave me sad."
"I promise, Mom," said Flora. Flora and I then kept hugging the rest of the night. I know that I can't keep Cody my little colt... but I do know one thing. He'll have a wonderful future of his own.
