A little AU where the Arkham Knight took full command of the Legion of Doom
Takes place after the Beginning of The End
A mysterious alicorn named dubbed 'The Arkham Knight' takes full control of the Legion of Doom while the Legion are having suspicions about their new leader.Thinking that Grogar ditched them and used him as a replacement.
The Legion of Doom's Hideout is nothing but a small cavern where the four villains reside,plotting revenge against Twilight Sparkle. Grogar,the Legion's Leader,is watching his orb on Twilight and her friend's victory against the former king of the Crystal Empire. He snarled at their cheering and victory.
"Curse those little brats. Eventually,working together will finally destroy those brats once and for all."
He silently laughed evilly. He heard teleportation noises and a figure was right behind the great ram who was once the Emperor of Equestria.
"That you, Sombra?"He taunted and turned around looking at the figure, who was floating some kind of weapon with his horn.
"Who in Tartarus are you?"He asked.
"It's me, 'Sombra'."He retorted back with a sinister tone, still holding the weapon.
"What the--have we met before?"He asked.
"You may not know me,but I know you."He simply replied with a mechanical voice.
Grogar turned around preparing to fire him with a powerful magic that will most likely kill him. The figure cocked up his weapon.
"Don't bother."
Grogar furiously stomped the floor and turned around to face him again.
"YOUR LIFE WON'T BE WORTH SPIT!"He yelled back.
"I've been dead once already. It's very liberating,you should think of it as...therapy."He replied as he walked closer.
Man, the nerve of this guy.
"Look,whoever you are. Maybe we can join forces."
"Whoever am I? Who am I? Well,here's the thing. You can call me the Arkham Knight."He stepped out of the shadows to reveal an alicorn in a militaristic armor with an 'A' insignia on his chest plate and a blue glowing mask.
"And as you can see,I'm a lot happier."He laughed menacingly as he started shooting the ram with his weapon as Grogar screamed in agony. He continued shooting the ram without mercy until he ran out of projectiles and kicked the ram's bloody body covered in holes,some were still hot.
The Knight laughed once more as the ram's body falls to it's death.
"Ah,what a day."
Princess Luna's eyes opened in shock and terror from her sleep, gasping for air. She looked at her surroundings, realizing she was still in her bedroom. She stood up and left her bedroom,she walked over to the dining room and found her sister happily eating breakfast.
"Ah,sister.Care to join me for breakfast?"She asked with a caring smile.
"No,thanks."Luna replied, taking a peel of banana and ate the whole thing without peeling it off.
Celestia looked worried for her,she approached her sister and placed a hoof on her shoulder.
"Luna,is something wrong?"She asked.
"It's nothing sister,just a nightmare."Luna replied,her hoof on her head.
She only had nightmares when she's stressed,but this? This is new.
"Luna,can you tell me about your night terror?"
Luna sighed.
"You know Grogar?"Luna asked,her hoof still on her head.
"You mean the former Emperor of Equestria our mother and father used to tell tales about him?What about him?"She asked.
"I dreamed about him and then somepony showed up and killed him."Luna replied with a dry tone.
Celestia gasped silently, why would one of her subjects kill Equestria's most feared and first villain?Who would do such a thing?
"Can you describe the intruder?"She asked.
"There was nothing much,he was wearing a military armor with an 'A' on his chest plate,and get this,he was wearing a blue mask,which is glowing!And he has a menacing voice."She replied as sweat started to come down from her head.
Who is this pony?
"Did he have a name?"
"Yes,he calls himself the Arkham Knight."
Arkham Knight?Never heard of that name from anywhere here in Equestria?
"It's just a nightmare,sister."
"I know,but it feels so real."Luna shivered.
"It's just a terrible dream sister,nothing to worry about."Celestia comforted her sister.
"You're right.Just a horrible dream that spawned in my head."She said and stood up.
"I'm going back to my slumber,sister."
"Well,have a nice sleep,sister."
Then,she left the dining room.
Fluttershy just woke up from her nice sleep and decided to start her day by feeding her animal friends.
"And here's one for you,Angel."Fluttershy said giving the small bunny his breakfast as he hopped off away with it.
"All right,everyone.Who's next?"She smiled as someone is trying to knock on her door.
She answered the door and,she screamed.She screamed at the sight.
Discord was covered in dried and fresh blood as his lion paw was keeping his blood from leaving his body.
"Discord!What happened to you?!"She asked as she ran over to the Draconequus.
"I got hurt.That's what."He weakly murmured.
"Who did this to you?"She asked analyzing his injuries.
"Somepony.He really doesn't like me."He replied.
Fluttershy then carried Discord en route to Ponyville Hospital.
"Where are you taking me?"He asked weakly.
"The Hospital,your wounds must be treated immediately."
"Hmm...okay."Discord replied as he snapped his fingers and teleported them to the Ponyville Hospital.
At the Hospital,doctors and nurses were busy treating patients until the arrival of a bloody Lord of Chaos.
He went through really,really painful surgery as Fluttershy waited outside.The Doctor soon came out with the results.
"Doctor,how is he?"She asked.
"He'll be live,his wounds have been contaminated with something we've never seen."
"You mean he's poisoned?!"She gasped.
"No,no.It's just something that came from the projectile,but that's the weird part.The projectiles,they're like anything we've never seen.But he'll be fine."
Fluttershy's negative thoughts slid away from her head as she made a small smile.
"Can I see him?"
The Doctor nodded in response as Fluttershy entered the room and left.
Discord was laying down the hospital bed with bandages and treated bruises.
What could have he done to get him into something like this?Was he playing a prank and it went wrong?
Oh,Discord...
Discord's eyes lit open as he looked around and saw Fluttershy in front of him.
"Fluttershy?"
"Hey,"She whispered squeezing his talon,"How are you doing?"
He tried to sit up but Fluttershy pushed him down,her hoof resting on his talon as he winced.
"Pretty okay,how about you?"
"Forget about me,what happened to you?"She asked,worried.
"Please...call Celestia and the others.I'll explain."
She nodded and left the room for a while.
Meanwhile,in the Legion of Doom,the Arkham Knight was sitting down on the table with a coffee mug and newspaper in front of it.
While he looked out on the beautiful view of Equestria on Grogar's Orb.
"Ah,Equestria.Always puts a smile on my face."
He looked at the newspaper which caught his attention.It said:
Equestria Daily Sculpture Unveils New Statue of Princess Celestia
He placed down the newspaper and made a menacing stare.
"Wait until they get a load of me."
He continued his stare until...
"Oop...oop..."
He stared at the newspaper again and laughed evilly.
The Legion of Doom,a team of villains consisting of the queen of changelings,a centaur,and a small pegasus who looks like a kid in the outside but a demon in the inside.The villains never expected to be forced working together because of the legendary villain Grogar A.K.A. The Emperor of Equestria and The Father of Monsters.
But this?
This is new.
Their leader is no longer Grogar but an alicorn who calls himself the Arkham Knight,who is this new pony?Is he just a weak and pathetic little pony who will force them to hug each other and forget about the whole 'revenge against Twilight Sparkle and her friends movement'?
This just ain't right!
"So,gentlecolts.That's how it's gonna be,until Grogar resurfaces,I'll be the acting leader.And by that,I have a new movement,for all of you."The alicorn said as he faced the villains with his menacing mask.
Cozy Glow,the youngest from the villains in the group,stood up.
"Why don't we hear this from Grogar?"She asked.
Queen Chrysalis then stood up.
"Yeah,and what's with that stupid mask?"She asked,earning a scowl from their new leader.
"Life's been good to me,that's all."The Arkham Knight then turned his gaze onto the centaur.
Tirek,the biggest and the baddest of them all,stood up and giving the leader an angry stare.
"And what if we say 'No'?"He asked,crossing his arms.
The Arkham Knight then moved next to the giant centaur.
"Well,then we'll just shake hooves and call off the alliance.That will be all."He replied,extending his arm for the centaur to shake.
That's it?A hoof shake?This pony has got to be kidding him.
What choice does he have?
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."The Knight repeated.
Tirek then grabbed the leader's hoof and shook it,only to be electrified by his hoof.The Arkham Knight laughed like a pony in a comedy club who can't stop laughing.Chrysalis and Cozy Glow's jaws dropped as Tirek was continuously electrocutioned by their new leader.
Oh there'll be a hot time,in the old town tonight.
Tirek collapsed on the floor with burn marks everywhere,the Knight blew the smoke off his hoof.
Soldiers then burst in the room all armed with HK G36K assault rifles and held the two villains at gunpoint.The Arkham Knight then approached a small table and poured some wine into a glass.
"Well,that was shocking."
The Soldiers then cocked up their guns,still holding the two villains at gunpoint.
"You're crazy."The changeling queen spat.
"Have you ever heard the healing power of vengeance?"He turned around and drank the wine,after drinking he scowled at the villains.
"NOW GET OUTTA HERE!"He boomed as the Soldiers led them outside.
Chrysalis scowled at the new leader.
"And try to think about it."
The doors closed,leaving 4 soldiers and an unconscious Tirek,the Arkham Knight then grabbed the bottle and poured wine again.
"Uh,Lieutenant?"
The Soldier approached the commander,he was wearing a red beret,a M50 Gas Mask,and a headset for communications.
"Yes,sir?"
"Uh,I need you to go to Canterlot and uh get me the Storm King's remains and if you have time,go get the files in the Canterlot Archives and see if there's a file on the new Element Bearers."
Before,he could leave,he was stopped by he commander.
"And remember,YOU....ARE MY NUMBER ONE....LIEUTENANT...."He said in gaps,the lieutenant nodded and placed his shades in his eyes and left.
The Arkham Knight then looked at the unconscious centaur as he proceeded to taunt him,
"Your friends,they're not bad.Let's give them a few days to think about it...What?...Smother them now?...Good idea!You really are a tough centaur bastard and I'm glad you submitted."
The Arkham Knight then left the room.
In the Ponyville Hospital,Discord has been visited by the Mane 6 for over the day until Princess Celestia arrived.
"Hello Discord,I see you're sustaining your injuries."She said as she approached the draconequus.
"And I see your still yourself."The Lord of Chaos taunted back with a smirk,Celestia returned a questioning look and a concerned stare.
"Discord,I'm going to ask you a few questions and you must take it seriously."
Discord nodded in response.
"Okay,who did this to you?"Celestia asked with a frown.
"Somepony who calls himself the Arkham Knight,he assaulted me with a deadly weapon on my way home."Discord said,not telling what really happened last night.
Celestia gasped,the name 'Arkham Knight' rang in her head,Luna's dream was not but a night terror but a reality.Could this Arkham Knight be a new threat to Equestria?
"Did he say something to you?"She asked with a concerned tone.
"No,he just introduced himself to me and then shot me down."Discord replied with a frown.
Celestia continued asking questions as Discord kept answering them at least.
"Where is he now?"
"I don't know,he could be anywhere."Discord replied as he looked away.
Celestia smiled as she planted a kiss on his cheek.
"Well,I should be going now.Get well soon."
She walked out of the room before glancing at him and walked out.
'Thank you for visiting,Tia.'
Celestia was met with her own student outside.
"Did he talk?"
"He mentioned about a new villain who is rising to power in Equestria and he could be a bigger threat than anypony and I am counting on you and your friends to stop this new threat."Celestia said as she placed a hoof on her shoulder.
"We won't let you down,Princess."
Meanwhile,the Soldiers were able to sneak inside the Canterlot Vault without getting caught by the Guards and found the Storm King's remains and the Staff of Sacansas.The Soldiers were able to get the remains out of the vault in a wheel barrow as the Soldiers were observing some of the artifacts in the room.
"Come on!The Knight wants every pieces!"
One of the Soldiers found a relic which caught his attention.
"Hey,guys.Look at this."
Other soldiers observed the artifact.
"What is it?"
"I don't know."
"I got an idea.Let's take it."
"Yeah,let's do it."
The Soldiers placed the artifact on the backpack as the Soldiers continued on their duty.
Princess Celestia prepared a speech about their retirement in front of everypony along with her sister,after a hearty meal,they were already at the gates of the castle.
"Are you ready,sister?"She asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be."Celestia replied with a smile.
They burst out of the doors as they all stood in front of everypony,as in an entire crowd of ponies.
"Hello,Everypony.I know some of you have all heard of me and my sister passing the crown to Princess Twilight Sparkle and retiring,but Twilight Sparkle isn't ready to take the mantle.We'll give her some time to think about it."Princess Celestia said.
All the ponies started asking questions.
"Princess,how does it feel to pass the crown to somepony else and you get to retire?"One of the ponies asked.
"Well,that really is a question right there,sir."
"Princess,how does it feel?You finally get to retire and somepony has taken your place?Who am I kidding,of course you would feel good about it."
Suddenly,a pony wearing a top hat and a mime make-up appeared in the crowd.
"Of course you'd feel good about it."
All the ponies' attention was suddenly directed to him.
"You would feel good about passing the crown to a peasant so you can retire for good and you would sign it to her with your own blood by your cold dead hoof with this pen."
The mime pulled out a feather pen from his pockets.
A Royal Guard then stood in front of the mime aiming a spear at him.
The mime aimed the pen at the guard's throat as blood splattered out of his throat,the crowd was shocked at what they witnessed,the mime's disguise started to disintegrate and it turned out to be The Arkham Knight,who removed his top hat and his rose.
"The pen is truly mightier than the sword."The Knight said in a british accent.
The Arkham Knight then turned to face the sisters.
"Well,well.Look who it is,"Luna said in a mock tone,until she realized,"Wait,have we met before?"
The Arkham Knight chuckled heartily.
"Not yet,Lulu."
Armored Vehicles then showed up at the scene as the passengers exited the vehicles and started shooting on the air.The Arkham Knight then approached the vehicles slowly and gazed upon Celestia.
"You won't get away with this."
"I already have."
The Knight boarded the vehicle as the soldiers entered the vehicle and left the crowd.
Meanwhile,at the Legion of Doom.... Twilight Sparkle and her friends are gonna find this madman and put a stop into...
The TV Screen was suddenly shot by the Arkham Knight's weapon as he slowly scowled at the TV with rage boiling inside of him.
"Sparkle,Sparkle....can somebody tell me what kind of a world do we live in?Where a bunch of peasants wield the Elements of Harmony gets all of my press,"The Arkham Knight then faced his lieutenant,"This land needs an enema!"
The Soldiers carefully put the Storm King's remains all together and drew a Pentagram on the floor,as the Arkham Knight grabbed his spell book and started to search throughout the pages and found what he was looking for;a resurrection spell.
Chrysalis and The Others observed the Arkham Knight's actions.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?"Chrysalis asked.
"IT'S A GOOD IDEA!!!"
Now,let's get to work...

Nothing happened.
"Umm....are you sure you read the spell the right way?"Tirek asked with his arms crossed.
"Just wait."
Suddenly,a blue blast of electricity bolted the room,and a large figure resembling a sartyr was foreshadowed on the blast,after the blast dissolved....there he stood...The mighty Storm King...
"Where am I?"He asked in a deep voice full of rage and hate.
"You're in the Legion of Doom's Hideout..."
"We haven't met,do I know you?"He asked,standing up.
"Nope."
The Storm King grinned.
"Then I'll tear he flesh out of your skin along with your armor."He threatened with a devilish grin.
"Don't you want revenge?"
The Storm King stopped.
"What?"
"Don't you want to kill the Mare who murdered you that faithful day?Where you were about to become the Storm King,but was all ruined because of a peasant girl and her friends?"The Arkham Knight asked without flinching.
"Of course,how could I forget?!TEMPEST SHADOW MURDERED ME!"
The Storm King grabbed the Staff of Sacansas and raised it above his head.
"Now,we the four of us,we are unstoppable."The Arkham Knight started laughing evilly as the Storm King continued doing his 'overpower' crap.
The Arkham Knight then scowled at the other three.
"Well,what are you waiting for?!LAUGH WITH ME!!!!"
The Other Three Villains shared a nervous laugh as the Knight's laugh echoed through the tavern.
Meanwhile,at an Unknown Location... Two Airships were floating on the air heading to an unknown location,aboard the airship,is the evil scientist Professor N.Shroud who has been experimenting on some nerve gas until the Arkham Knight approached him with a lot of money to fund a project he's working on.
The Professor has been checking half of the barrels full of nerve gas which he's been shipping it to the Arkham Knight's Hideout until the Militia Commander approached him.
"Have you shipped a million of those things?!"
"Yeah,how much more do you want?"He asked.
"ALL OF THEM!!!Ship them all!We're gonna tear down Equestria with it!"He said and and laughing menacingly,
After receiving a new attack from the new mysterious Arkham Knight,Princess Celestia sent Twilight Sparkle and her friends to the crime scene at Manehattan where the Royal Guard has made a shocking and terrible discovery on one of the Knight's victims.
The Mane 6 were able to get to the crime scene in time as the guards were still observing the victim inside of a department store,some of the guards had shocked and worried faces as some of the guards were taking photos of the crime scene.
"Princess Twilight,I'm glad you were able to get here in time."The Guard said,panting.
"Of course,what seems to be the problem?"Twilight asked as she and her friends followed the guard to the department store.
"It's crazy,you know."
"What is?That a new villain came out of nowhere like a gust of wind?We'll find him and kick him in his booties!"Rainbow Dash exclaimed as everypony ignored her.
"No,the victim.He was found lying on the floor...a-a-and--"The Guard stuttered.
"And what?"Twilight asked.
The Guard then moved closer and decided to say it in a whisper,
"He was found smiling."
The Group was confused.Why would the victim be smiling until his death?
"Now why would the victim be smiling?"Applejack asked more confused in the group.
"Witnesses say that the victim was buying a dress until he started laughing uncontrollably and collapsed on the floor and then that smile appeared on his face."
The Guard led them inside and where the victim was resting inside a body bag,the guard then zipped open the body bag and revealed a black stallion with a rictus grin.The group looked scared at what they have just seen and Fluttershy ducked behind Rainbow Dash.
"What in Tarnation?!"Applejack screamed in terror.
The Guard nodded as the group continued to stare at the victim.
"Is he expecting us?!IS IT HIS BIRTHDAY?!"Pinkie Pie snapped.
"No,Pinkie,darling.The poor stallion died laughing."Rarity corrected.
"How did this happen?"Twilight asked.
"No idea."
Then a nearby TV Screen lit up and it revealed a clown pushing a shopping cart.
"All new improved Clown Product!With a new secret ingredient,Smylex."
The Guard stared at the screen,"What in Tartarus?"
"Now,let's go to our blind taste test."
Two other mares with the same rictus grin appeared on the screen.
"Love that Joker."They both said at the same time.
The Groups continued to stare in the screen with confusion.
"Where is it coming from?"The Guard asked.
No response.
Then,in the screen,they found a stallion tied and gagged up.A poor stallion was kidnapped by the clown!
"Uh oh,you don't look happy.He's been using Brand X.But with Smylex?I get a grin,again and again and again."
But Twilight ignored and continued watching the broadcast.
"That ruby lips,so juicy.AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!I know what you're thinking,where the hell can I buy these products?Well,that's the joke.Chances are,you bought them already."
"Love that Joker."The mare repeated the quote.
The Clown then turned to the screen as his disguise dissolved and turned out to be the Arkham Knight.
"And always remember,put on a happy face."He said with a menacing tone.
The screen then turned static as Rainbow Dash's eyes twitched.
"What in Tartarus was that about?!"
Twilight just stared at the screen.
"Twilight,Sugar Cube?"Applejack tried snapping her out of her trance as Twilight shook her head and blinked.
"I gotta go."
"What?"
"I gotta go,you guys do the crime scene,I'll be investigating the Knight."
The group nodded as Twilight left the department store.
Meanwhile at the Legion of Doom... The Arkham Knight has been checking the barrels containing random chemicals with a small notebook until his Lieutenant approached him with folders of the Element bearers with a tired look on his face.
"Sir,here's the files you wanted of the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony."He said handing the files to the commander.
The Knight swiped the files away from his lieutenant.
"Thanks."
The Arkham Knight opened the first file which contained Twilight Sparkle's info.
"Twilight Sparkle,Formerly a Unicorn now an Alicorn,The Element of Magic,Princess of Friendship...WHAT THE FUCK?!"He exclaimed with rage in his voice.
"Sir,language."The Lieutenant reminded with seriousness.
"Yeah,thanks for reminding me...I mean literally,why would the Princess choose a peasant as an Alicorn?!AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP!!!"He slammed his hooves on the table.
"Sir,calm down..."The Lieutenant said trying to relax the commander,as he breathe in and out.
"Okay,who's next...Rainbow Dash,member of the Wonderbolts,The Element of Loyalty....Note to Self:can be cocky and arrogant at any point....This peasant doesn't deserve to bear the Element of Loyalty."He scoffed as the Lieutenant nodded in agreement.
"Okay...Applejack,the Element of Honesty,the Daughter of the late Pear Butter and Bright Mac,Runs the Apple Orchard....the Element of Honesty shouldn't be in the possession of a farm girl."He said with a bit of disgust.
"Fluttershy,the Element of Kindness,runs the Animal Sanctuary....can be shy and timid every time...Note to Self:Do not piss her off..."The Commander raised an eyebrow as he looked at the lieutenant.
"I don't know."The Lieutenant mumbled.
"Pinkie Pie...Element of Laughter,Master Party Planner,Baker,Uncontrollable Laughter,Emotionally Unstable,and can be very,very annoying.Who would wanna hang out with somepony like her?"
The Lieutenant just looked at the commander and shrugged.And then he opened the last file,
"Hmm....Holy Mamma,who is she?"The Arkham Knight asked like he's in-love.
"That's Rarity,the Element of Generosity,the Self-Proclaimed No.#1 Fashionista of Equestria."The Lieutenant replied.
"Oh my God,why would a beautiful mare like her bear the Element of Generosity?Ooh...I think I lubricated myself...Lieutenant,go make a phone call."
The Lieutenant smiled and nodded and left the love-struck villain as he started to waltz in the room.
"Oh,dear Rarity.Soon you will be mine."
Spike was cleaning up Twilight's mess and books after her late-night study and poured some water in his glass until Twilight burst in the room.
"Spike,can I have a glass of...water?"She took the glass from Spike's claws.
Twilight then sat down at her sofa with her hoof on her head.
"Rarity told me what happened in Manehattan."Spike said.
No response.
"And she told you to meet her later at the Carousel Boutique for the dress fitting."
Twilight gave him a tired look.
"Spike...why don't you marry her?"She asked.
The Young Dragon was dumbfound.
"That's not exactly what I meant but--"
"I know,it's just...that...I'm not ready to rule Equestria and say goodbye to everyone in Ponyville.I'm not ready."She said with a frown.
Spike then got up in the sofa and placed his claw on her shoulder.
"If not now,when?"He asked.
"I don't know."
Then Twilight remembered what she was doing back here.
"Spike,can you get me every stallion files in the Canterlot Archives?"
"What for?"He asked.
"Uh...nothing,just research..."
Spike nodded and left the stressed Alicorn alone.
Meanwhile at the Legion of Doom... The Arkham Knight and his men are preparing for a little evil for tonight as the Knight's Lieutenants placed art supplies and assault rifles and shotguns in the back of the jeepneys as the Knight was working something on his gauntlet until some thing or some pony was tugging on his other hoof.
He looked down to find a half-asleep Cozy Glow rubbing her eyes.
"Boss,where are you going?"
The Arkham Knight then smiled and looked at the filly.
"Daddy's going to make some art.Do you wanna come?"He asked the filly.
She slowly nodded in response.
Spike then received mail from Rarity and called out.
"Hey,Twilight!Rarity invited us to dinner at that new restaurant at Canterlot!AT 6:00 IN THE EVENING!!!"Spike yelled from the living room.
Twilight who was busy investigating the Arkham Knight's true identity in her study room,spat back,
"Okay!But--Wait a minute,Spike,Rarity didn't mention anything about having dinner tonight...Unless..."
That was when realization struck her,
"Twilight,you don't think--"
"IT'S A TRAP!"
Meanwhile in Canterlot... Rarity was already at the diner/museum and waiting on the table and drowning herself on some wine while waiting for her other friends,then the waiter came up to her with a small gift-like package with a note that says 'urgent' on the front.
"Uh,Miss Rarity,this just came up for you."The waiter said as he placed the package on her table and decided to leave the mare alone.Curious,the fashionista opened the box and revealed an M50 Gas Mask and behind the note it said,
URGENT!!! PUT THIS ON IMMEDIATELY! -Your Secret Admirer,A.K.
Then,out of nowhere,the same nerve gas that killed the victim back at Manehattan also dispersed throughout the restaurant but instead of killing them it made them knock out unconscious,luckily Rarity placed the Gas Mask in time before the chemical could reach her nostrils.
And suddenly,the entrance of the restaurant burst open and slammed shut and as the gas dispersed revealed the Arkham Knight and his Lieutenants carrying art supplies and the Legion of Doom (except the Storm King) with evil smiles on their face.
"Gentlemen,let's broaden our minds.Tirek?"
Tirek pressed a button on the boombox he's carrying and started playing 80's music.
The Lieutenants started dancing and placed the art supplies on the floor as the Arkham Knight walked past a pony version of the Mona Lisa.
"Give it a shave."He commanded Chrysalis as she opened a can of purple paint and threw it at the painting.
The Queen laughed maniacally,clearly she was enjoying this.
The Lieutenant #1 was spraying paint on a painting of The Mane 6 and sprayed funny faces.
The Lieutenant #2 danced like a ballerina and painted the painting of Princess Luna and made her look like a clown.
The Lieutenant #3 messed his hooves with blue paint and pasted his messy hooves on a painting.
The Lieutenant #4 threw knives at every sculpture with an evi laugh.
Cozy Glow then held a paint brush and painted a little house and a little tree and a big sun.
"Isn't that a little too sweet?"Chrysalis asked.
Cozy Glow shook her head in response.
The Arkham Knight then proceeded to walk upstairs as his lieutenants and cronies followed him,Lieutenant #4 passed a spray can to the commander as the Knight sprayed his logo on the painting.
Chrysalis then threw orange paint on the Celestia Sculpture and laughing insanely.
Then,Lieutenant #1 tried to destroy a sculpture of an Alicorn with a Knife only for the Knight to stop him.
"Wait.Leave this one,Lieutenant.I kinda like it."
The Arkham Knight then turned his gaze towards a Rarity who was wearing a gas mask.He ran towards her seat as Tirek rushed to his side and The Knight turned off the boombox and switched to Fur Elise.
Chrysalis and Cozy Glow joined in the table and the Lieutenants stand guard on their commander.
"You can take that off now."
Rarity then slowly and carefully removed her mask and looked at the three villains with eyes wide and shocked.
Lieutenant #5 carefully placed a golden candelabra on the table.
"Thank you,Lieutenant."
He then pulled out a blowtorch and smoekd up the candles which Rarity's eyes widened in surprise.
"You're beautiful.In an old fashioned way,though."
He noticed the portfolio in front of him and opened it and looked through it,whoch were photos of dresses.
"Is this what you do for a living?"
She nodded slowly in response.
"Mmhhmmm....ooh...the dress...the gown...you give it all such a glow,I don't even know if it's art.But I like it."
She then forced a smile on her face as she gazed on the villainous trio with a bloodlust look on their eyes.
"Let me tell you something,sweetheart.I was in a bad place until I realized why I was destined for greatness,you know how stallions and mares are concerned about appearances.This guy is attractive,that stupid stallion is not.Well,that is all behind me,Rares.I do now what other ponies dream,I make art until I die.See?"
He chuckled.
"I am Equestria's First Homicidal Villain."
Rarity gave him a look.
"What do you want?"She asked.
"Oh nothing personal,nothing more.I just want Celestia dead."
"You must be joking."
The boombox then stopped playing as he gave the mare an evil glare.
"Do I look like I'm joking?"
Rarity shook her head in response until the doors slammed open and the Mane 5 including Spike burst inside the restaurant.
"Rarity!We're here to rescue you!"Rainbow exclaimed as the Arkham Knight glared at the mares and his Lieutenants.
"I TOLD YOU TO GUARD THE DAMN DOOR!"He yelled.
"Sorry,sir!Won't happen again!"Lieutenant #3 yelled with a paint brush floating with his horn.
"IT BETTER BE!"
The Mane 5 then rushed upstairs as the soldiers held them at gunpoint and the Arkham Knight pulling out his dual pistols.
"Who are you?"Twilight asked.
"Oh,where are my manners?The name's Arkham Knight,and you must be the very beautiful Twilight Sparkle."
Twilight blushed after hearing those words but quickly shook her head.
"Listen,we don't wanna hurt you,but you need to surrender and you won't be harmed."Twilight replied calmly.
"Do I look like an idiot?Hell,no.How about you surrender to us and you won't be harmed?"
Rainbow Dash then stood in front,tightening her hooves.
"Oh yeah?!You and what army?"
The Legion revealed themselves to the mares and their eyes widened in surprise and shock.Their greatest enemies united as one against them.
"Hello,Twilight Sparkle.Missed me?"Chrysalis asked with a hungry glare.
"I'm baaaccckkkkk....."Cozy Glow smiled evilly.
Tirek just tightened his fists as the Mane 5 looked at Rainbow Dash with a glare.
"What?"
"You just had to ask."Applejack retorted.
The Lieutenants were still holding them at gunpoint,the Mane 5 knew they don't stand a chance against four villains and soldiers with unknown weaponry.
"What do you want?"Twilight asked.
"Leave me alone so I can go plan my vengeance on Princess Celestia,now run along now."
"What do you want with Celestia?"Rainbow Dash asked.
The Knight sighed lowering his gun.
"None of your business,okay?Now,do us all a favor and let us go."
"No way,buster!We're taking you down!"
The Arkham Knight simply chuckled.
"I'll repeat,let us go or they die."
Wait.Who's they?
"What are you talkin' about,you darn vermin'?"
"The Cutie Mark Crusaders."
Those words rang in Rarity,Applejack,and Rainbow's ears.
"What have you done with my sister,you ruffian?!"Rarity exclaimed.
The glass from the ceiling crashed open and a transport helicopter threw done ropes for the soldiers and villains.
The soldiers and the Legion grabbed ahold of the rope and was immediately transpirted inside the chopper.
The Arkham Knight then gazed at Rarity,Applejack,and Rainbow Dash who all gave him a bitter glare.
"You won't get away with this,you bucket of bolts!"Rainbow Dash yelled tightening her hooves.
"We'll find you!"Applejack yelled.
"Nothing hurts like losing a part of the family,knowing that there is no one left to blame but yourselves."
The Arkham Knight then pulled out his zip-kick and immediately grapnel on the helicopter as the chopper flew away leaving the angry and shocked mares.
"Where does he get those he get those wonderful toys?"Pinkie Pie asked.
Fluttershy then proceeded to calm down the other three after learning the kidnapping of their sisters.
"Twilight!We need to go back to Ponyville,immediately!"Rarity begged.
"That vermin may have left a clue somthin' that would lead us to him!"Applejack yelled.
"And when I find him,I'm gonna enjoy beating him up!"The Cyan Pegasus yelled tightening her hooves.
Twilight and her friends followed her and returned immediately in order to track down the CMC and the Arkham Knight.
