It was a peaceful day In Equestria where three rulers were having tea together.
“Celestia what do you think we should do next for the summer sun celebration this year?” Luna asked her sister.
“Hmm that’s a good question Luna. What do you think, sombra?” Celestia asked as she turned to sombra.
“I think you can do a solar eclipse.” He responded.
“It’s not a bad idea....” Luna said.
“Yes maybe we could-“ Celestia was about finish when two royal gaurds from their kingdom Burst into the room.
“Princesses, and king, we have found something that you need to see!” The gaurd said, catching his breath from running so quickly.
“What is it?” Sombra asked.
“Just come and see.” The gaurd said.
After following the gaurds to the garden they saw a deep hole and a mirror covered in dirt above it.
“While the farmer was digging out a new crop for the garden he found the tip of this and he dug deeper and unearthed this!” The gaurd said pointing his hoof at the mirror.
“What is that?” Luna asked.
“A mirror.” The gaurd responded
“No I know what it is I mean what does it do? Anything special?” Luna asked annoyed.
“We have not checked yet...” The gaurd said.
“Well at least it can make a reflection....-AH!” Celestia said as she put her hoof on the mirrors glass. But the hoof went right through.
“Fascinating, it looks like a portal to another world.” Sombra said, observing the mirror.
“Let’s take it back to the palace.” Celestia said.
Back at the palace.
“So what do you we should do with it next?” Sombra asked.
“Maybe we could...go through it?” Luna mumbled
“What was that Luna?” Celestia asked.
“Maybe we could go through it?” Luna said again.
“WHAT?” Celestia shrieked.
“Well I’m curious on what’s on the other side aren’t you?” Luna asked her big sister.
“Well yes but what if we are in danger?” Celestia said.
“While I do agree with Celestia about the danger I must say that I am curious about this other world.” Sombra said
“Celestia can we go as long as we are ready to defend ourselves? I promise we can go back when there is danger.” Luna said pleadingly.
“Well... okay..” Celestia said.
“Yay!” Luna squealed.
Luna immediately zipped off to the room with the portal with Celestia and sombra close behind her.
“We’re here!” Luna said.
“Luna are you sure you’re ready?” Celestia asked.
Luna giggled. “Yes big sis.”
“Okay.. let’s go.” Sombra said.
They all went through the portal when a blinding flash covered the entire room.
“Luna? LUNA?” Celestia suddenly called out suddenly.
“I’m here...” Luna’s voice trailed off.
“Luna what’s wrong you sound daze-“ Celestia’s voice cut off.
“Woah.” Celestia said.
The sun and moon were both out. But they were almost apart, but they were crossed between eachother. And the castle was covered in dark banners and rugs.
“What happened? Why is this Equestria so... dark?” Celestia asked confused.
“HEY!” A gaurd called out.
Celestia,Luna, And sombra turned around to see a gaurd. Not like theirs though the armor looked the exact same as Luna’s shadow gaurds. But the colors were different. The gaurds armor has dark purple and a pink star on the front.
“Trespassing that’s treason looks like I’ll have to take you to the queen.” The gaurd said coldly.
As they were being taken to the queens throne room Luna was whispering to Celestia. “Why don’t we just teleport?”
“Because once we get to the queen we can explain that she has it all wrong and we can reason with her.” Sombra said.
“Okay...” Luna said.
Once they arrived the gaurd shoved them in and slammed the door behind them.
“Well...well...well....what do we have here?” A dark female voice called out from the front of the room.
Celestia Luna And sombra spun around to see a tall purple Alicorn with pink and purple hair shaped like flames with dark purple wings and a glowing blue horn with holes and a pink star with tiny purple stars on her flank.
“Wait..Celestia And Luna!?” The purple Alicorn called out in shock.
“Yes..?” Celestia said.
“GAURDS!” The Alicorn called out.
Suddenly, the gaurds put rings on the trios horns. And took them to the prison.
After the gaurds left Celestia got angry. At the queen and her sister.
“‘Celestia Let’s go’ she says ‘Celestia come on!’ She says ‘CELESTIA WE WILL LEAVE AT THE FIRST SIGN OF DANGER’ SHE SAYS!” Celestia shouted.
“Celestia I know your mad but taking it out on Luna won’t help.” Sombra said.
“I know, I know, I just got a little snappy there.” Celestia said.
“She seemed surprised to see us as if.. she knew us..” Luna said.
“Well this is an alternate universe so I wouldn’t be suprised if she did know you.” Sombra said.
“Yes but what will we do now? We are in a prison cell.” Luna said.
Just as Celestia was about to respond a gaurd came in and pointed to sombra. “The queen wants to see you for questioning.” The gaurd said.
As sombra was picked up and escorted to the room Luna said “good luck!”
When sombra got into the room he was sat in a chair across from the queens throne.
“Where did you come from and why were you trespassing on MY castle and talking to Celestia and Luna?” The queen asked coldly.
“I...well there was a portal in that room that we came through and before we could leave to go back to our world the gaurd found us.” Sombra said seeing no point in lying.
“So why were Celestia and Luna with you?” I banished them both to the moon.”
“This other world seemes to be an alternate universe to yours so we have our own Celestia and Luna.” Sombra responded
“Good now you may go.” The queen said.
Back at the prison cell Celestia was the first one to ask “how did it go?”
“It went good she just wanted to know why we were trespassing on her castle and why you were here.”
“What happened to alternate us?” Luna asked.
“The queen banished you both to the moon.” Sombra said.
“Woah.” Celestia said in shock.
Just then, 5 ponies in brown hoods snuck in and got in front of the cage that the trio were in.
“Come on! We are here to get you three out!” One of them said.
“What who are you and are you working against the queen?” Sombra asked.
“Yes! Now come on!” One of them said.
“But who are you-“ Celestia was about to finish when she was cut off by another one of them.
“We will explain later now come on!”
After they were all broken out and left the castle and in the woods, Celestia stopped them. “Okay NOW that we are away from the castle will you please explain?”
“Okay...” the middle one said.

“Twilight come on!” Spike said.
“Coming!”
“Twilight are you sure your ready for the coronation?” Spike asked.
“Yes of course! I’m just nervous about ruling Equestria..” twilight responded.
30 minutes before the coronation at Canterlot Castle.
“Twilight darling are you sure your ready? You don’t want to make a bad impression in front of Equestria.” Rarity told twilight.
Before twilight could respond, the coronation began.
“Mares And gentlecolts, as you know, me and my sister are retiring. So I can’t think of any pony more qualified to rule Equestria than princess twilight sparkle!” Celestia announced.
Just then, the doors burst open and twilight came out in the same coronation dress she had when she became a princess.
Then she was crowned with a crown with the sun and moon.
After the coronation all of twilights friends crowded around her.
“Twilight now that you rule Equestria we could go to the wonderbolt show! You could score us VIP seats!” Rainbow dash said.
“And the Canterlot fashion show! You could give my boutique a good name!” Rarity chimed in.
“And use money to help make a place for animals!” Fluttershy said.
“Don’t forget the Appaloosa derby!” Applejack said.
“And you could make me a bigger bakery!” Pinkie pie said.
“Guys I know your excited but, I’m not just gonna do things for you I need to do things for all of Equestia!” Twilight told her friends.
Everypony understood except for rainbow dash.
“We are your friends are we not?” She asked.
“Well yes you are but-“
“Then you do things for us!” Rainbow dash said.
“Woah there nelly!” Applejack said. “That’s going a little to far rainbow!”
While rainbow dash and applejack were arguing, twilight was able to slip away from the group.
After a day, twilight decided to visit the school. Not knowing she would immediately regret it later.
“Twilight!” Applebloom called out.
“Don’t you mean ‘princess twilight?’” One of the other fillies asked.
“Nope! We are her prized students!” Sweetie belle said.
“Wait what?” Twilight asked.
Just then apple bloom came out to her and said “thanks for pretending. Now, we will be super popular!”
After twilight left, Princess Celestia came up to her at the castle.
“Twilight?

“Why are you favoriting ponies?”
“I’m not!”
“Then look at this magazine.”

“CELESTIA! You really believe this gossip over me? Where did you get this?” Twilight asked.
“Rainbow dash gave it to me.” Celestia responded.
“Where is she?” Twilight asked.
“Right at the doorway-“ Celsatia was cut off because the doorway was empty.
“That dirty little pony left before we could even sort things out. And hurt my rule..” twilight muttered.
“What was that?” Celestia asked.
“Get out of my castle.” Twilight said coldly.
“What?”
“Get.Out.”
“Okay!”
After Celestia left, twilight went to her personal chambers.
Ohh they are so demanding. I’m beginning to feel sorry for you.
“She didn’t even think about the possibility that it was just petty gossip..” twilight said.
OBVIOUSLY. She doesn’t have the kindness for such noble things.
“Am I really unwanted?”
Gah! But of course! She didn’t want to listen to you! Instead, she wanted to find you and scold you. Oh wait, she did.

What she Did destroyed you. Here and her choices will only cause suffering for you.
“If she hadn’t made her choices, what. Would have happened?”
Can’t you see? You must realize that without her things would be better! No Alicorns, no corruption. But now, now you must live with the mistakes SHE’S made.

She knew those voices from anywhere. Her ‘friends.’ As she put it.
See? They have come to scold you, after you became an Alicorn I came to you and offered to help you, I think it’s time you have accepted that help.

“What? What do you mean darling?” Rarity asked.
“All I wanted was for everypony to get a second chance.. BUT NO!” Twilight yelled. As she walked to the throne room with her friends close behind. And they stopped at the doorway when twilight got on her throne.
“So now...I’m taking things to the NEXT LEVEL.”
In horror twilights friends watched as she separated the sun from the moon and darkness surrounded her.
After the transformation was done the heard laughter. Sick cruel twisted laughter.
“From today on I shall be known as ‘midnight sparkle.’”
Again, they heard that sick twisted laughter. As midnight Blasted them out of the window.
‘That’s one problem taken care of.’ Midnight thought.
Just when she thought she was done, Celesia came with Luna.
“Twilight! We shall not fight you! Thou must bring thine sun and moon back together!” Luna said
“Twilight? I am, MIDNIGHT SPARKLE!” With her telekinesis twilight grabbed Celestia and Luna.
“ Luna you know what it’s like to be on the moon. But do YOU Celestia know what it’s like to be on the sun?”
“What are you-“ Celsetia was about to say when she blasted Luna to the moon and Celestia to the sun. And locked them inside.
But, twilights friends wouldn’t give up on her, because, when they were blasted out of the window, Fluttershy called on a group of birds to help them out and bring them safely to the ground.
“Wow.” Luna said. “What happened next?”
“Well spike came along after hearing all of the commotion and since he was twilights number one assistant, she expected him to stand by with her but, he refused so she turned him to stone. And since twilight is the element of magic, we can’t use the elements of harmony. Oh, those things protect the land by the way.” The on on the far left said.
“Where are the friends now?” Luna asked
“Here.” One of them responded.
Just then, they all took off there hoods and revealed themselves.

Applejack
And pinkie pie.
“We have tried our best but no matter what we can’t bring twilight to her senses.” Applejack said.
“Yeah!” Raainbow dash said.
“Have you ever tried, i don’t know...apologizing?” Sombra said.
“Apologizing? What for?” Rainbow dash asked.
“He’s right.” Fluttershy said.
“Yeah! We were all super excited about twilight ruling Equestria we became selfish and tried to make her to things for us to please us. And I think YOU rainbow dash need to apologize to her especially.” Rarity said.
“I didn’t do anything! I’m completely innocent!”
“Ahem. You showed Celestia that magazine and fled before they could sort things out. That doesn’t seem very LOYAL to me.” Apple jack pointed out.
“Yeah..you’re right...”
“But if we wanna save her we need a plan.” Applejack said.
