On a quiet afternoon, Twilight Sparkle and her friends were walking with a twelve year old girl named Julie down the street. Julie was a red haired girl wearing a red flannel shirt and capri style blue jeans. She also has on sky blue sneakers that look lovely.

“Thanks for spending the night at my house, girls.” Julie said happily.

“No problem.” Twilight Sparkle replied. “I feel very honored to attend your thirteenth birthday.”

“We all do, darling.” Rarity added. “And, we get to perform for your birthday too.”

“I’m looking forward to that.” Sunset Shimmer said.

“One question.” Rainbow Dash wondered “Where is your house, Julie?”

Soon, the eight girls stopped in front of a huge mansion. Everyone is amazed at the sight of this place. Just then, Fluttershy got very scared.

“Oh no!” Fluttershy said with fear. “Not this place. This is 13 Dead End Drive!”

“13 Dead End Drive?” Twilight yelped. “Isn’t this the mansion where a lot of creepiness happens?”

“That’s what I heard.” Applejack answered.

Julie soon told the girls her story. “My eccentric aunt Agatha left me and my family this place and her fortune after she passed away. This weekend, my mother and father are away. But, they’ll be back tomorrow for my birthday.”

“That’s a relief.” Pinkie Pie said.

As the girls entered the house, they were greeted by a tall man wearing a tuxedo. He speaks with a British accent. “Welcome back, Miss Julie.”

“Hello, Smothers.” Julie responded. “My seven friends are spending the night here.”

“Oh yes. The Rainbooms. Some friends of mine saw your performances. Anything you need, just let me know.”

Rainbow Dash looked at Smothers with a bit of worry. “Thanks, Dracula.”

The friends sit on couches in the living room. They were amazed by the size of the place.

“I can’t believe you and your family inherited this place.” Pinkie Pie cheered.

“That makes two of us, Pinkie.” Julie replied, stroking a big cuddly pussycat. “I never thought I would live in this mansion. But, we’re very happy here. My family and I are pleased with this place.” She then turns to the cat. “Right, Poopsie?”

The cat purred happily. Fluttershy loves the looks of that cat. “Poopsie. That’s a cute name for a cat.”

“Thanks, Fluttershy. She used to belong to Aunt Agatha. Before I was named the heir to this place, the servants and other characters fought with each other for the fortune.”

“Like that zombie who greeted us?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Smothers? He has been a servant to Agatha and the family for years.”

“What would that man do if he got this fortune?”

“I’ll tell you the answer, Miss Dash.” Smothers replied as he suddenly appears. “With Miss Agatha’s fortune, I would retire and travel the world.”

“Many people would have that dream.” Applejack said.

“You maybe right. Anyway, my friends, your bags are in the guest rooms. Will there be anything else, Miss Julie?”

“Not now, Smothers.” Julie answered. “Take a ten minute rest break.”

Smothers bowed to the guests, and left the room.

“That butler is a bit creepy.” Twilight said.

“This whole mansion is creepy.” Pinkie Pie added. “I’m worried.”

“I’m with Pinkie Pie.” Sunset said with concern. “There are a lot of scary stories about this place.”

“I was a bit worried myself when I learned of 13 Dead End Drive.” Julie confessed. “But, nothing will scare me out of this mansion!”

The girls applauded Julie for her bravery. She then stood up. “I’m going out for a while to get a new outfit for my birthday celebration. You guys can look around and meet more of the staff.”

As Julie left the room, the girls got concerned.

“I hope nothing bad will happen to us.” Fluttershy quivered.

“Indeed, darling.” Rarity replied. “13 Dead End Drive has a dark reputation.”

Twilight got everyone’s attention. “Calm down. Maybe there’s nothing to worry about.”

“Yeah!” Rainbow agreed. “It’s just an old mansion.”

“Let’s be careful anyway.” Sunset suggested. “You never know what will happen here.”

2. Meeting Some of the Staff

The seven friends separated to look around the mansion. Rarity looks at herself in a mirror and realized something terrible.

“Oh no!” Rarity shouted. “I forgot to wash my hair this morning. It’s a tangled mess!”

Rarity was then approached by a bubbly multi color haired lady wearing a blue jacket, multicolored shirt, and deep pink pants. She heard Rarity’s cries and attempts to comfort her.

“Hair emergency?” The lady said. “I can fix that. To the bathroom!”

Later, in the bathroom, the lady washed Rarity’s hair in the sink, then used her blow dryer and hair brush to help make Rarity’s hair beautiful.

“My hair looks much better.” Rarity cheered. “Thank you, Miss..uh.....”

“Call me Spritzy.” The lady replied. “I was Miss Agatha’s hair stylist.”

“You were associated with Julie’s aunt too?”

“Many people around this place are. If I had that fortune Julie has, I would open up my own hair salon. Hair stylists make big bucks that way.”

Meanwhile, outside in a garden, Fluttershy is amazed by its beauty.

“This garden is lovely.” Fluttershy said out loud. “These flowers look beautiful. And, I see fruits and vegetables growing. A true work of nature.”

“Thank you.” Said the voice of an old man.

Fluttershy saw and old man wearing bib overalls, a magenta shirt, boots, and bow tie. She thinks he’s the one taking care of the area.

“Did you take care of everything in this garden?” Fluttershy asked.

The old man smiled and gave her an answer. “That I did. My name is Hickory. I work here as the gardener.”

“I’ll bet the family of this mansion appreciates your hard work. I know I do.”

“Thank you, young lady. Miss Julie likes my work too. You know, if I inherited Miss Agatha’s fortune, I would create a horticultural type theme park. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?”

Fluttershy thought it was a crazy idea. But, she went along with him. In an area with art masterpieces, Pinkie Pie looks at the pictures and statues when she saw something weird.

It was a strange woman with curly black hair and wearing a blue robe. She sits at a table with what looks like a crystal ball. She speaks in a foreign tone. “Would you like me to tell your future, Miss?”

“Who are you?” Pinkie asked.

“I am Madame Astra.” The woman answered. “I was Miss Agatha’s fortune teller. Now, I serve her niece, Julie.”

Pinkie is interested. “A fortune teller. That sounds interesting. What do you see in your crystal ball?”

Madame Astra looks in her crystal ball. After two minutes, her eyes widened.

“Beware, Miss Pinkie Pie.” Madame Astra said with concern. “You and your friends are in great danger!”

Pinkie got worried. In another room, Twilight Sparkle was looking at books on shelves. Then, she heard the voice of a serious woman. Twilight then saw a brown haired woman wearing glasses and a lavender business outfit. This woman has a calculator and paper in front of her.

Twilight watches in silence. Soon, the woman stops, and looks at Twilight.

“Oh, hello there.” The woman said in a deep voice. “Can I help you with something?”

“Sorry for intruding.” Twilight replied. “I was interested of your work with numbers, Miss.......”

“My name is Prudence. And, I am an accountant.”

This got Twilight interested. “You handle the finances for Julie and her family?”

“Yes, I do.” Prudence answered. “I used to help Miss Agatha’s with her finances. Believe it or not, that woman earned her fortune through investing in kitty litter.”

“A kitty litter fortune? I guess some people make their money in unusual ways.”

“I agree with that, young lady. Even with this fortune, Julie’s parents still have their jobs. No doubt to keep money in the bank.”

“That’s not a bad idea.”

As Twilight enjoys talking to Prudence, Applejack admires a portrait of an old woman over the fireplace.

“So, that’s Julie’s aunt, Agatha.” Applejack said out loud. “She must’ve lived a long life.”

Then, another female voice replied to her comment. “She sure has.”

Soon, a charming African American woman wearing a white lab coat walks in to meet Applejack.

“Where did y’all come from?” Applejack asked.

“Don’t be scared.” The woman replied. “I like meeting new people. My name is Charity. I was Miss Agatha’s doctor.”

Applejack’s eyes widened. “A doctor? That means you’ve been taking care of Julie and her family.”

“That’s right. I take care of them as I took care of Miss Agatha.”

Applejack looks at the portrait. “Miss Agatha looks so elegant. She even has her cat, Poopsie, with her.”

“Miss Agatha has two pets.” Charity informed.

“Two?”

“Yes. She also had a dog named Pugsley. That puppy is still roaming about.”

Charity then told Applejack a dark secret. “If I had that fortune instead of Julie, I would open up my own clinic.”

“Seems like everyone here had plans for Miss Agatha’s fortune.” Applejack figured.

“I guess so.”

Outside, at a tennis court area, Rainbow Dash watches a blonde haired young man wearing a white shirt and white shorts practicing his tennis techniques.

“Those were awesome moves.” Rainbow said as she applauded. “I’m not usually into tennis. But, you are grand.”

“Thanks.” The young man replied. “I could teach you how to play tennis someday.”

“You’re a tennis coach?”

“That’s right. My name is Clay. I was destined to play tennis professionally. But, I hit a snag in those plans. So, I started to teach Miss Agatha how to play the game.”

Rainbow Dash was impressed with that story. “Have you been teaching Julie how to play tennis?”

“I think Julie is more into karate than tennis.” Clay answered. “But, she brought some friends over who are into this sport.”

“Maybe. What do you think of Julie and her family inheriting Miss Agatha’s fortune?”

“I can live with it. But, if it was me, I’d use the money to go pro.”

Rainbow Dash chuckled silently hearing that answer. Meanwhile, Sunset Shimmer entered the living room when she saw a lovely young lady with curly red hair and wearing a maid’s outfit cleaning a table. Sunset Shimmer checks this girl out carefully.

“Mmmm.” Sunset cooed. “She sure is beautiful.”

The maid turns around and addresses Sunset with a southern accent. “Thank you, darling.”

Sunset got surprised as her face turns red.

“Don’t worry, friend.” The maid said. “I’m happy that anyone thinks I’m gorgeous. My name is Dusty. And, I’m the maid of this place.”

Sunset Shimmer was very amazed. “Isn’t cleaning a mansion like this by yourself tiring?”

“At first.” Dusty answered. “But, I got used to it after serving Miss Agatha for a few years.”

“Does Julie and her family help you?”

“They do. And, I appreciate them for it.”

A twisted thought came to Sunset’s mind. “Julie said the staff and other characters fought each other for Miss Agatha’s fortune before she came along. You have any plans for all of that money?”

“Well,” Dusty started to answer, “I would have plenty of jewels on my person. Even a maid needs some bling. You know?”

“Who doesn’t?”

3. More Characters Appear

Later, the seven friends got back together and discussed their meetings with some of the staff.

“Seems like the people we met had their own plans for Agatha’s fortune.” Twilight figured.

“At least some have worthy causes.” Fluttershy added.

Rarity noticed that Pinkie Pie was a bit nervous. “Are you worried about what that fortune teller told you?”

“I sure was!” Pinkie answered. “I sure hope she was wrong.”

Rainbow Dash gave a devilish look to Sunset Shimmer. “Sounds like YOU, Sunset, have a crush on the maid.”

“Come on, Dashie.” Sunset replied. “I just said that Dusty was beautiful. And, she appreciated the comment.”

“Hi, guys. I’m back!” Julie calls out as she enters the room.

The girls noticed a slender woman wearing an elegant outfit and has short black hair joining Julie.

“Did you find what you’re looking for, dear?” Rarity asked.

“Yes, I did.” Julie answered. “I’ll show it to you later.”

“So, who’s this tall lady with ya?” Applejack wondered.

“Girls, this is.....”

“Allow me.” The tall woman interrupted. “My name is Parker. For five years, I drove Miss Agatha to her favorite stores when she’s in a spending mood.”

“Now, your serving Julie and her family.” Twilight added.

“That’s right. This young lady and her parents are very grateful to me.” Parker turns to Julie. “If you’ll excuse me, I need to wash the car. It looks dirty.”

“Good idea.” Julie replied. “Got to keep our vehicles clean and representable.”

As Parker leaves, Applejack had and idea. “Where do y’all keep the cars?”

“There’s a garage area near the backyard.” Julie answered. “Why?”

“Maybe that chauffeur can use some help.”

Minutes later, Applejack went to the garage area. She sees Parker in a different outfit. Parker wore a lime green T shirt and blue bib overalls with the pant cuffs rolled up. The farm girl was surprised.

“I never expected to see someone like you dress like this.” Applejack said. “I love it!”

“You do?” Parker replied. “Thank you. There’s something about bib overalls that appeals to me. What brings you here anyway?”

“I wonder if you need help washing the car.”

“I usually handle it myself. But, I do appreciate the help. I already have a bucket filled with warm soapy water. Grab a sponge and let’s get to it.”

The two started washing down a deep blue SUV.

“Do you dress like this whenever you wash any of these cars?” Applejack asked.

“You bet, Applejack.” Parker replied as she wrings out a sponge. “This way, my uniform won’t get ruined.”

Minutes later, the vehicle shines brilliantly. Parker was very grateful to the farm girl.

“Thanks for your help.” Parker said gratefully.

“My pleasure, Parker.” Applejack replied. “By the way, all the people we met told us what they would do with Miss Agatha’s kitty litter fortune. You have any plans?"

Parker gave her an interesting answer. “You know, Applejack, if I inherited that money, I would finance my dream to enter the Indianapolis 500.”

Applejack was shocked. “You want to be a race car driver?”

“Yes. I would like to prove that my driving skills should not be restricted to driving people to places.”

Inside the house, Julie and the other girls were talking to an old lady wearing a magenta hat, and a yellow flowery outfit.

“I heard many stories about you Rainbooms.” The lady said, adjusting her glasses. “Tell me about yourselves. And, don’t leave out any details!”

“Don’t you have anything better to do than gossip?” Julie asked angrily.

“Not if I can help it, Julie.”

Applejack comes into the room as the old lady spots her.

“Applejack, the bass player.” The lady said with glee. “Nice to meet you. My name is Lulu. I was Agatha’s best friend.”

“Best friend?” Applejack yelped.

“That’s right. Agatha and I spent a lot of time together, having tea and talking gossip.”

All the girls shook their heads with disbelief. Fluttershy was concerned. “She looks scary.”

“Lulu make look scary, Fluttershy.” Julie explained. “But, she is funny with her stories.”

“She’s right, girls.” Lulu replied. “In fact, if I inherited the fortune Julie received, I would start my own tabloid newspaper.”

“Just what the supermarkets don’t need.” Sunset Shimmer said. “More rag mags.”

Everybody laughed. Except Lulu. She made her way to the door as she gives a departing remark. “You’d be surprised what people are into these days. So long, Rainbooms. Come visit me for tea next time you’re in the neighborhood. Bye.”

As Lulu left, everyone felt a sigh of relief.

“That Lulu can be annoying.” Rarity stated.

“I agree.” Twilight replied. “But, she is unique. Just like the rest of the people we met.”

Smothers entered the room to make an announcement. “Dinner will be ready in twenty minutes.”

“Thanks, Smothers.” Julie responded. “Did you tell the chef specifics of each girl?”

“I certainly did, Miss Julie.”

Outside the mansion, four strange looking characters look on. A witch, a female vampire, a haunted geisha, and a female werewolf.

“So, this is 13 Dead End Drive.” The witch said. “The Rainbooms are inside. Later tonight, we’ll sneak in, capture those seven girls, then destroy them.”

“What if they try to fight us?” The geisha asked.

“They won’t know what hit them.” The vampire replied. “Why do you think we have these disguises for?”

4. Dinner Time

View Online

The Rainbooms and Julie sat in the dining room enjoying their dinner. Everybody is enjoying their time together.

“This food is delicious.” Twilight Sparkle said, finishing a piece of ham.

“Thanks, Twilight.” Julie replied. “I’m happy to see people enjoy their meal.”

“You said it.” Sunset praised. “This vegetable platter is cooked just right.”

“I heard you don’t eat meat, Sunset. That’s why you got this platter of veggies. They came from Hickory’s garden.”

After finishing some carrots, Fluttershy spoke up. “I’ve seen Hickory’s gardens. He sure knows his stuff.”

“All of the food is delicious.” Rarity cheered while sipping some water. “My compliments to the chef.”

“Thank you, madame.” Said the voice of a French male. In steps in a medium built chef with a mustache. “Allow to me to introduce myself. I am Pierre. I used to cook well for Miss Agatha.”

“And now, you’re cooking for Julie and her family.” Rarity figured.

“Correct, Madam. I traveled all over the world to learn many cooking techniques.”

Pierre approached Sunset. “I see you liked this vegetable platter, Miss Shimmer.”

“I sure do, Pierre.” Sunset replied. “Cooked perfectly.”

As Applejack was taking another spoon of mashed potatoes, she felt something on her foot. She saw it was a dog.

“Howdy, little fella.” Applejack greeted. “I’m guessing you’re Pugsley.”

The dog barked happily. Pierre saw the dog and picked him up gently. “Come, Pugsley. Do not disturb the guests while they eat.” Pierre places the dog on the floor. “I’ll save you some food for later. I promise.”

Pugsley wanders off. Pinkie Pie asked Pierre a question. “Many of the people we talked to told us what they would do with the fortune Julie now has. How about you?”

Pierre gave a polite answer. “Well, my friend. If I was named the heir of Miss Agatha’s fortune, I would put together a cooking show on TV. Then, the world will know how good I am.”

“Everyone wants their fifteen minutes of fame.” Rainbow Dash remarked.

After dinner was done, the girls help Pierre clean off the table. Everyone put the leftovers in the fridge, and put the dishes in the sink.

“Thank you, my friends.” Pierre cheered. “I appreciate the help.”

“Your welcome.” Rarity replied. “We’ll help with the dishes.”

“No need.” Smothers interrupted as he rolled up his sleeves. “Dusty and I will do the clean up.”

Dusty walks in with her sleeves rolled up. “Smothers is right. We work well together.”

Dusty looks at Sunset with her alluring smile. Sunset’s smiles back. Suddenly, a handsome looking man with white hair and wearing a black suit comes in to greet everyone with a southern drawl. “Any food left over? I was passing by and I got hungry.”

The man soon saw Twilight and her friends. “Well, well. The Rainbooms. I heard many stories about you. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Beauregard the third. I am a ladies man.”

“Elderly ladies that is,” Julie whispered to Sunset, “like Aunt Agatha.”

“I hear that, Julie! Years ago, I swept your Aunt off her feet. Too bad I couldn’t have her fortune.”

“That’s right, Beauregard.” Julie told him. “She gave the fortune to me and my family.”

“That’s true. You are indeed worthy.”

Pierre places a plate of food on the table. “Here you are, sir. Heated up for you.”

Beauregard sits down to enjoy the food. “Thank you, Pierre. Once I’m done, I’ll leave. But, I’ll be here for Miss Julie’s birthday.”

“Come on, girls.” Julie said. “While he enjoys his meal, I’ll show you the set up for my party tomorrow.”

“Okey Dokey.” Pinkie chirped. “Lead the way.”

Outside, in the backyard, Julie shows the girls a big stage set up.

“Cool stage!” Dash praised. “I’m guessing that’s where we’re performing tomorrow.”

“That’s right, Dashie.” Julie replied.

A young man wearing glasses and wearing a white shirt and black jeans came along to join them.

“Everything is set up, Julie.” The young man said. “By my calculations, the power will be sufficient. The solar panels on the roof helps out too.”

“Hi there.” Twilight greeted. “It’s nice to meet a fellow science geek.”

“I wouldn’t consider myself a science geek. But, I appreciate the compliment. My name is Sedgewick. I am the nephew of Miss Agatha.”

“We’re starting to meet all kinds of people in this place.” Pinkie Pie wondered.

“Even so,” Fluttershy added, “this whole place makes me feel uneasy.”

Twilight Sparkle continues her talk with Sedgewick. “So, How you like getting along with Julie?”

“Very well.” Sedgewick answered. “However, if aunt Agatha gave her fortune to me, I’d use it to conduct scientific experiments.”

“You’re not the only one with plans for Miss Agatha’s fortune.” The voice of a teenage girl called out.

Out steps a blonde haired girl wearing a magenta shirt, black skirt, and black shoes. She then speaks to the crowd. “If I got my hooks on that dough, it would help with my dreams.”

“Who are you?” Sunset Shimmer asked.

The girl answered Sunset’s question. “My name is Sassy. And, I’m an aspiring rock star.”

“And, you think that fortune would help make that dream come true?”

“You got it.”

Rainbow Dash approached Sassy with an idea. “Me and my friends are playing music during Julie’s birthday party. How about joining us?”

Sassy gave her answer. “Really. I get to jam with the Rainbooms? Cool! I’ll be there.”

Fluttershy soon approached Julie. “No offense. But, this whole place scares me.”

“Really?” Julie said. “You’re that nervous?”

“I am.”

Fluttershy starts to get scared. Julie then turns to the nature lover. “I think I know why, Fluttershy. Let’s go back in the house.”

5. Trap Filled Tour

View Online

The girls gathered in the living room as Julie gives a dark explanation. “As some of you know, 13 Dead End Drive has a terrifying reputation.”

“So we’ve heard.” Sunset replied.

“Before I was named heir to Aunt Agatha’s fortune, the staff, the relatives, and other characters try to destroy each other to claim it.”

“I’m glad Poopsie and Pugsley stay out of this family feud.” Fluttershy said.

Julie gave a sad look. “I hate to say this, Fluttershy. But, even the pets get involved.”

Fluttershy got shocked to hear that. “Oh my. That’s scary.”

Just then, a gentleman with a neatly trimmed mustache and wearing an explorer outfit walks in and greets the girls with an Australian accent. “G’ day, mates.”

“And, who might you be?” Rarity asked.

“My name is Perkins. And, I’m in charge of Miss Agatha’s Wild Game Reserve. I keep it going to honor her.”

“I asked Perkins to come over.” Julie explained.

“What for?” Dash asked.

“To show you guys why this house can be dangerous.”

“Mates,” Perkins said, “follow me.”

Perkins leads the girls on a tour of the house. Their first stop is a library.

“I would feel at home here.” Twilight cooed. “So, what’s dangerous?”

Perkins points to a ladder next to a bookcase. “Over here. If one of the relatives climbs up to find a book, another one would be waiting to push the ladder.”

“That’s as warped as one of Trixie’s magic tricks going wrong.” Applejack said.

“I heard one time,” Julie indicated, “Pierre was looking for a cook book on a high shelf. But, Clay was waiting, and pushed the ladder. Pierre recovered. But, was in pain for a few days.”

“I hope his arms and hands weren’t affected.” Rarity said with concern.

“Nope. But, he had an aching back for a while.”

Minutes later, the group went into another room with heads of animals on the wall.

“Some of these powerful animals are ones I shot.” Perkins explained. “But, Miss Agatha convinced me to preserve animals rather than shoot them.”

“This room make me uneasy for a variety of reasons.” Fluttershy uttered nervously.

“Well, you’ll feel a little more uneasy. See that boar’s head?”

Fluttershy looks at a trophy of a boar’s head. “Oh my. He’s a fierce looking beast.”

Perkins told everyone about that trophy. “A device is rigged so that the boar can be launched and stab any unfortunate victim.”

Sunset touched one the boar’s tusks, and pricked her finger. “Ouch. I can see why. Those tusks are sharp!”

In the gallery, Rainbow Dash looks at a suit of armor. “This looks really cool.”

“It maybe not be cool to you if it falls on you.” Julie warned.

“This suit of armor is a trap too?”

“Sure enough.” Perkins answered. “One time, Spritzy was just relaxing when Dusty decided to drop that armor, which by the way, encased a solid statue. Spritzy heard the armor and zipped out of the way just in time.”

“Wowee!” Pinkie shouted. “Talk about heavy metal.”

Everyone got a chuckle out of that line. Julie and Fluttershy included. In the dining room, everybody looked at the portrait of Aunt Agatha over the fireplace.

“Aunt Agatha looks so beautiful. Doesn’t she?” Julie asked.

“She sure does.” Twilight replied. “You’re lucky to be related to this fine woman.”

Perkins got everyone’s attention. “If I may direct your attention to this fireplace, it’s part of another trap.”

“I guess these characters try to throw others in there.” Rarity wondered.

“And, not lift a finger to do it.”

“How do you mean, Perkins?”

Perkins places his hand on an urn on the fireplace. “Just twist this urn here, and a section of the floor will flip up and toss the victim in there.”

Applejack was shocked to here that. “Talk about crash and burn.”

Perkins nods his head. “You got that right, mate.”

Next stop is an art room. A room Pinkie Pie knows well. “This is where I met that freaky lady.”

“That freaky lady being the fortune teller.” Rainbow Dash figured.

“That’s her.”

“What dark trap is in this room?” Applejack asked.

“The stairs make a good trap in itself.” Perkins answered. “Anyone can trip and fall down them. I heard that the fortune teller you spoke of, Madame Astra, tripped down those stairs. That's because that blasted cat snagged her robe.”

“Poopsie?!” Fluttershy yelped. “She sounds like a sweet cat.”

Fluttershy was started to tear up when Twilight touched her shoulder. “Sometimes, Fluttershy, even sweet looking animals can have a mean streak.”

The group heads for a room with a vault. Rarity was shocked. “Look at the size of this vault.”

“That’s very impressive indeed.” Sunset added.

Rarity came close to the vault. “I wonder how much money is...”

“Don’t touch that door!” Perkins yelled as he grabs Rarity and pulls her away. “If you open that door, a giant piggy bank would launch and ram into you!”

Rarity got surprised hearing that. “Wow! That was a close one.”

Finally, the group toured the music room.

“Now, this is a beautiful room.” Fluttershy cooed. “I don’t see anything going wrong here.”

“Don’t bet on it.” Perkins informed. “See that chandelier?”

Everyone looked up and saw the beautiful chandelier Perkins was talking about.

“It’s beautiful.” Twilight Sparkle stated.

“So, what dangerous about it?” Applejack asked.

Perkins gave an answered. “There’s a trigger here to drop that chandelier. Last time it was used, it crushed Beauregard’s ankle. He wore a cast for three weeks.”

“Believe it or not, I felt his pain.” Rainbow Dash said.

“Hey, guys.” Julie said, getting the girls’ attention. “Let’s change into our sleepwear and meet in the living room. We can relax before bedtime.”

Everybody agreed that it was a good idea.

6. Musicians in Danger

View Online

Later that night, Julie slips into a long sleeve deep blue nightgown covered with white stars. She looks at herself in the mirror.

I can’t wait to show the girls this nightgown. Julie thought to herself. They were all impressed with the outfit I’m wearing for my birthday party.

Julie then went to her closet to look at her outfit. A sky blue long sleeve shirt with a rainbow streaking across the middle, a long teal skirt, and a pair of blue shoes. Just then, a knock came from Julie’s door. She answers it, and it was Smothers standing there.

“What can I do for you, Smothers?” Julie asked.

“Miss Julie,” Smothers replied, “it appears that your seven friends have disappeared.”

Julie was shocked to hear that. “What? Are they in the living room?”

“I’m afraid not. And, they’re not in the guest rooms either.”

This got Julie concerned. “Smothers, call for Beauregard, Clay, Perkins, and Lulu to come over and search the outside. I’ll look around downstairs.”

“Good idea.” Smothers said. “As they say out at sea, all hands on deck!”

Taking a service elevator, Julie heads for the living room to look for her friends. Suddenly, she had a scary thought. Julie made her way to the Gallery, and saw a scary sight. “Twilight!”

See saw Twilight sitting on the floor with her hands tied behind her back, ankles tied together, and her mouth covered with duct tape. When Julie saw that Twilight is facing the armor, she rushed over to untie her.

“Thanks, Julie.” Twilight said with relief. “I was never this scared before.”

“What happened?” Julie asked.

“I was just putting on my sleepwear when a witch barged in and dragged me out. She brought me into this room, tied me up, and left me. She claimed that she’ll destroy me later.”

“No doubt, this witch planned to push down that suit of armor to squash you.”

Twilight soon got worried. “The others might be in those rooms containing those traps!”

“You may be right.” Julie replied. “Let’s check the library.”

Twilight and Julie made their way to the library. There, they saw Applejack tied to the top of the ladder. Julie then saw a bed of spikes on the floor.

“Someone set this up that when this ladder is pushed,” Julie figured, “Applejack gets shish kebabbed.”

“Not if we can help it!” Twilight said as she and Julie go over to the ladder. “I’ll use my magic to lift you up so you can untie Applejack.”

Twilight magically lifted Julie up to the top of the bookcase.

“Don’t move, Applejack.” Julie said as she reaches behind the ladder. “I’ll have you free in a minute.”

With her mouth taped shut, Applejack nodded as Julie undid the ropes holding the farm girl. When all is done, Twilight lowered Julie as Applejack climbed down the ladder.

“Whew! That was a close one.” Applejack praised.

“What happened?” Twilight asked.

“Rainbow Dash, Sunset, and I saw some weird critters drag you, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie off. We went to find y’all. Just then, some kind of geisha grabbed me and tied me to this ladder. Telling me that she’ll be back to destroy me.”

“You’re safe now.” Julie cooed.

Twilight and Applejack hugged each other. Twilight then turned to Julie. “Where next?”

Julie gave them a suggestion. “Let’s check the music room.”

The three girls made their way to the music room. They spotted Rainbow Dash gagged and staked out underneath the chandelier. Twilight looked at the set up. “Looks like someone is going to trigger the chandelier to crash on Rainbow Dash!”

“Not on my watch!” Applejack announced.

Applejack used her magical strength to remove the ropes and pull Dash away. The daredevil removed the cloth from her mouth and hugged Twilight. “I was really scared. And, that rarely happens!”

Applejack got worried. “Are you okay?”

“I sure was! I was grabbed from behind by some werewolf type beast. Next thing I knew, I was stretched out on the floor under that chandelier. I couldn’t yell for help, as you noticed.”

Julie got to thinking. “Sounds like these demons figured out a way to scare you guys so much, you’re too timid to help yourselves.”

“Good logic, Julie.” Twilight said. “But, there are still four friends missing. Let’s separate and try to save them.”

Everyone agreed.

“I’ll check the vault room." Applejack offered.

“I’ll check the trophy room.” Rainbow Dash suggested.

“The art room is mine.” Julie called out.

“And, I’ll go the dining room.” Twilight Sparkle replied.

Julie then gave some good advice. “Let’s be careful. Those beasts might still be around. Let’s all meet back at the living room.”

Everybody put their hands in the middle and they shouted together. “Break!”

They then split up to find their friends.

Inside the vault room, Applejack spotted Rarity tied to a chair, close to the safe. The farm girl rushed offer to free Rarity and ripped the tape from her mouth.

“Ouch!” Rarity shouted. “Easy, darling.”

“Sorry.” Applejack said. “How did this happen?”

“I was just putting on my nightgown when this vampire type person barged in, grabbed me, and left me bound and gagged in here.”

“Probably planned to open that safe in order to crush you with that giant piggy bank.”

Rarity started to get nervous until Applejack put her hand on her shoulder.

“Come on, Rarity.” Applejack said. “Julie said to meet her in the living room.”

Rarity felt some relief. Rainbow Dash found her way to the trophy room. And she was shocked. “Flutters!”

Tied to a pole and gagged, Fluttershy looked at the eyes of the boar’s head. Rainbow zipped to her, quickly untied her, and took her out of the room.

“It was terrible, Rainbow Dash.” Fluttershy cried. “Some werewolf grabbed me and left me here, saying she’ll be back to kill me.”

“I was attacked by a werewolf too.” Rainbow Dash informed. “She left me to be crushed by the chandelier in the music room.”

Fluttershy cried in Rainbow Dash’s arms. Dash tries to comfort her. “It’ll be okay, Fluttershy. Julie said to go to the living room. Come on.”

Meanwhile, Julie looked around the art room. She then spotted Pinkie Pie bound and gagged on top of a staircase. At the bottom, she saw a bear trap.

These creeps arranged for Pinkie to be pushed down the stairs, then get snapped in two by this bear trap. Julie figured. Not tonight!

Julie carefully pulled the bear trap away from the stairs. Then, walks up and unties Pinkie.

“That was very scary.” Pinkie confesses. “I was just looking at myself in my cuddly PJs when this geisha person grab me and pull me away. Next thing I knew, I was on the top of the stairs unable to call for help.”

“You’re safe now, Pinkie.” Julie comforted. “Let’s head for the living room.”

In the dining room, Twilight saw Sunset Shimmer sitting on the floor by the fireplace. Bound and gagged the same way she was.

“Somebody wants to burn Sunset to a crisp!” Twilight shouted. “Not if I can help it!”

Twilight untied Sunset and pulled the tape from her mouth.

“Thanks, Twi.” Sunset Shimmer praised. “I was sweating bullets for a while.”

“How did this happen?” Twilight wondered.

“I was looking for you and others when this vampire showed up and put me in this situation.”

Twilight hugged her friend, relieve that she’s safe. “Don’t worry, Sunset. Nothing bad will happen you.”

“Thanks, Twilight.” Sunset praised.

“Come on. Julie said to meet her in the living room.”

7. Villains and Evil Plot Revealed

In the living room, Julie and the Rainbooms were relaxing, sipping some hot chocolate. What they experienced earlier left everybody rattled. Pierre and Smothers stepped it to join them.

“Thanks for the hot cocoa, Pierre.” Sunset Shimmer praised.

“You’re welcome, my friends.” Pierre replied happily. “I learned many hot chocolate recipes while traveling to Switzerland.”

“I’m just glad all of you are now fine.” Smothers added. “You all must’ve had a nightmarish experience.”

“That’s putting it mildly, Smothers.” Twilight said.

“Yeah.” Rainbow added. “Even I got rattled from what happened.”

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Followed by the voice of Beauregard the Third. “Miss Julie, me and my friends gathered up some suspicious characters.”

“Come in, Beauregard.” Julie answered.

The door opened. Then, Beauregard, Clay, Lulu, and Perkins came into the mansion. They brought the four creepy villains who tried to destroy the girls. All seven recognize the fiends.

“That’s the witch who left me in the gallery!” Twilight shouted.

“Along with the vampire lady who tied me up in the vault room.” Rarity realized.

“She left me to burn in the dining room!” Sunset said.

“I see the geisha who put me on the stairway in the art room!” Pinkie said nervously.

“That’s the same geisha who placed me in the library!” Applejack added.

“And, there’s the werewolf who took me to the trophy room!” Fluttershy said.

“That werewolf left me staked out in the music room!” Dash barked.

Julie looked at the monstrous characters. “I wonder how they know about this place.”

Beauregard got hold of the witch. “Now, let’s see who these intruders are.”

He removed the face of the witch, revealing the face of an elegant woman with black hair and glasses. Lulu recognized the woman. “That’s Abacus Cinch! Former head of Crystal Prep.”

The masks of the other three creatures were removed as Perkins tells everyone who it is. “And, that rival music group, the Dazzlings.”

Clay points to the vampire lady. “Adagio Dazzle.” He points to the geisha. “Sonata Dusk.” And, points to the werewolf. “And, Aria Blaze.”

Twilight walks up to confront her former principal. “So, you four were trying to kill us! Why?!”

“Besides the usual grudges, Miss Sparkle,” Abacus Cinch explained, “we learned of you girls spending the night here at 13 Dead End Drive. So, we teamed up to destroy you, using the traps this mansion is known for.”

“This way,” Adagio Dazzle continued, “WE would perform for Julie’s thirteenth birthday tomorrow.”

“You guys got plenty scared for a while.” Aria Blaze growled.

Hickory, the gardener, came in to talk to the villainous ladies. “That was a dirty trick you ladies tried to do. Let me give you some advice.”

“What advice can you give us?” Sonata Dusk asked.

“Pretty good advice actually.” Hickory replied. “If you do any nefarious deeds like this again, you’ll need to ask yourselves one question. ‘Do I feel lucky?’ “

Hickory motions someone to come. Many footsteps come from behind Hickory as Beauregard, Lulu, Perkins, and Clay join the gardener. Before Cinch and the Dazzlings knew it, they were facing all of the staff, relatives, and other people associated with Miss Agatha and the mansion. Even the pets, Poopsie and Pugsley, joined in.

The four evil ladies start to get nervous as Parker and Hickory nodded to each other. Then, Parker finished Hickory’s statement. “Well? Do you, punks?”

Abacus Cinch turned to the Dazzling and calmly gave them some advice. “Ladies, I do believe it’s time we split.”

Soon, Abacus Cinch, Adagio, Sonata, and Aria ran out of the mansion and raced down the street in a panic. At the door, Dusty gave the villains a proper farewell. “Y’all don’t come back now! Ya hear?”

The next day, the backyard is bustling with activity. Balloons and banners reading ‘Happy Birthday’ decorate the area. Many party guests are enjoying the fun. The barbecue grills heat up plenty of food.

At her table, Julie wears her birthday outfit. Next to her is a curly blond woman who is Julie’s mom.

“Aren’t you glad that dad and I are here, Julie?” The mother asked.

“I sure am, mom.” Julie answered. “I love this party. As well as the presents you guys and everyone else gave me.”

Minutes later, Beauregard the Third got everybody’s attention. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! It’s my pleasure to introduce to you that amazing group of musical ladies, the Rainbooms!”

The crowd cheered as the curtains are drawn. Twilight and her friends get a round of applause when the mother notices someone familiar on keyboards.

“Julie,” The mother wonders, “is that Sassy with the band?”

“It sure is.” Julie replied. “Twilight is letting Sassy play with them for the party.”

“Okay, girls.” Twilight said to her band. “Let’s rock and roll!”

The band started playing their music and everyone enjoyed the entertainment. From a distance, the infamous Abacus Cinch watches the performance, feeling bad that her plan didn’t work.

There’s no way I can crash that party with the staff and relatives attending it. Miss Cinch thought as she turns and goes away. Oh well, back to the old drawing board.
