The Titan King thought he had seen it all, but that thought changed when he finds himself and his kind thrust into a whole new world. One that wasn't meant for their kind.

Gojira could never have imagined that he would end up in a world not inhabited by humans. Yet after a single conversation with an apparent "Goddess" he and the rest of the TItans have been thrust into a world full of peace. And also bright and colorful creatures called "Ponies". With most of his kind still in hibernation in this new world, Gojira makes a life for himself in this new land.

That was all 50 years ago.

Now, Gojira has had plenty of time to integrate and learn about his new home. He has a mate and children, and is happy and at peace. But that doesn't last for long. Gojira can feel that things are changing, that the world appears to be getting ready for something. He has a couple of ideas but above all that he senses that trouble is coming. Whatever the danger, whatever is to come, Gojira is ready to take it head on. For although his time in Equestria has definitely changed him, he is still the King of the Monsters.

Waves crashed violently into each other, with enough force to knock cargo ships upside down. The night sky roared with the sounds of thunder and the displays of lightning. A storm like this can be seen in many ways and some believe that storms like this are nature's way of waking up its guardian. Though that assumption is completely false, a storm like this is merely Mother Nature just giving the world a quick once over in a flashy way.

Beneath the waves, the ocean itself wasn't fairing much better than the surface. The motions beneath the surface of the water were harsh and any moving creature was having the most difficult time trying to swim. This only applied to everything on the upper surface of the ocean, as the lower one got the easier the currents became. However, for one individual of Terra, none of this concerns him. For this individual, the weather is nothing but an afterthought as it has hardly ever made an impact on him.

This individual slept far beneath the waves in a secret temple, built by people from long ago who understood the gods of old. The temple's entrance was completely submerged in the darkest depths, while the inner sanctum was dry as it was within the earth, evident by the rivers of nuclear lava that flowed throughout the sanctum. Near the center of the sanctum, laid a beast of ginormous proportions, unlike any the world had ever seen. Or he was, before the year of 1954, and the rest of the years that followed as there were a few beings like him that had emerged throughout this time. Though these new beings barely held any real relation to him as he was the last of his kind, one of a handful of true Gods to have lived through the Permian era and survive that fatal extinction.

He often thought about that time, when life was much simpler for him. Back when they had ruled the world and humans were nothing but afterthoughts. He had endured much during that time but it ultimately ended in a way that he could have never comprehended and had never dreamed of. That thought quickly left him, as it tended to bring him to certain memories that he didn't want to remember. The being appeared to be at rest and looked as though it was enjoying the rest it got. The beast had a face that looked tired and was taking in deep breaths basking and absorbing the radiation all around him.

The beast itself looked very peculiar, unlike any living animal that was naturally born from Terra. The creature is blackish with its underside being of a lighter tone. It has reptilian-like skin all over its body and claws at the end of its hands. It has dorsal spines shaped like spikes running from the base of its neck going all the way to the end of its long tail. It has a square-shaped head and a broad neck, with gills on it, and has small sharp teeth aligned within its jaw. The beast's overall design was bulky and this also carried over to his legs, as they were thick with curved claws on its feet. The beast's length was practically absurd as it appeared to be over 500 feet long and its height is about 350 feet.

The beast was immensely large, with only a few others being either larger or taller than him. His size was one of the many things that made him intimidating, along with his physical prowess and his reputation. There were only a select few who didn't fear the name of Gojira and even fewer that dared to incur his wrath. Though he was grateful that he was allowed rest after his recent bout to protect Terra, as it left him exhausted. Immediately after dealing with the Mutos, he had traveled home to rest and he felt the effects of the battle on the way, most evident by how he limped into the ocean.

He, the God of Destruction, the Alpha Predator, and the King of the Titans had to limp to the ocean just so he could swim back home to get some proper rest. At first, he couldn't believe it, he knew that he would be a bit rusty as this would be his first fight in quite some time. But to be left completely exhausted, to the point that he needed to not only limp back to sea but to have to put himself on autopilot to swim back home. He couldn't believe it! He felt old and looked the part after the end of the battle, he needed to be more active to avoid another incident like that.

Gojira rumbled though as his attention was immediately drawn to a call, similar to his own but different. It must have been one of the newest generations of Titans, or Kaiju as the humans called them now. Abominations created from human arrogance but still the closest things to the original Titans left in the world. Gojira focused on the call and knew exactly who it was, it was the offshoot of himself as he liked to call the Kaiju. The humans named him Godzilla and while he slept within the earth they had started calling this pretender the 'King of the Monsters'. Gojira snorted at that, that monster was no king he was just a self-absorbed baby who constantly had tantrums. But thinking on it, Gojira was aware of his presence even in slumber yet every time he tried to rise and deal with him he ended up going into a deeper sleep. It was odd and he didn't know what to make of it and that annoyed him. Though just as these thoughts entered his mind he was overcome with a wave of sleep and a voice calling to him. He let himself relax and focused on answer the call, whatever it was it wanted his attention so he would begrudgingly give it

Gojira opened his eyes and surveyed the landscape around him as it was evident that he was not within his temple anymore. This new environment could only best be described as ethereal, as it looked like Gojira was standing in the universe itself. He turned around to see a being standing before him, one of pure power. It appeared female as she was wearing a dress that was colored dark green, she also had on gauntlets that appeared to be made of rock, with lava flowing through them. Her skin was fair and her eyes were a smooth shade of dark yellow. Her hair had a patch of grey in the front, that flowed into a light green, with flowers that appeared to be woven into her hair.

This being was powerful but Gojira would not bow to this being, at least not willingly. He got into a stance and started to flash his spines in a specific pattern. He snarled as he raised himself to his full height and slammed his tail into the ground to try and scare this being. All she did in return was smile and raise her hands in mock surrender and gave a slight bow of her head. Gojira relaxed his stance and stopped his display but held caution towards this female.

"Thank you for answering my call Gojira, I must speak with you." The woman said

"Hard not to when it was so persistent." Gojira grumbled before asking, "Now who are you?".

"I am Gaia, the literal personification of the earth." Gaia introduced

"Huh, guess Mosura's spiritual talk had some truth."

"Indeed, but I did not call you here for small talk."

"Then why have you called me here?"

"For that, we need one more person to join us." Gaia said as a burst of energy emerged into the space Gojira and her were in, "And there she is."

The energy that emerged shifted into another female form, about as tall as Gaia, bringing them both to Gojira's shoulder. She wore purple armor over a light blue dress, her skin was a light pink that got darker in patches across her skin. She wore black gauntlets that matched the black crown atop her head and her hair seemed to sparkle like stars in the night. The detail that stuck out to Gojira was that at the tip of her forehead, a horn stuck out. The horn was curved and had sparkled as if it were made of crystal.

She looked toward Gaia before looking towards Gojira and she stared him down. Gojira growled and flashed his spines in response before huffing and squaring his shoulders. She stopped the stare down and held out her hand towards Gojira. He was perplexed at first but replicated the gesture anyway and then turned his attention towards Gaia again.

"Gojira, this is Harmony one of the living embodiments of a world known as Equus."

"Charmed, I'm sure." Harmony said in a dull tone.

Gojira turned towards Harmony again and guessed she either didn't want to be here or just wanted whatever was going to happen faster. He could agree with either of those options, as he was getting tired too and just wanted to get this meeting over with. So he looked back to Gaia again and simply asked, "Ok so I've met two Goddesses basically, but what is it that I'm here for?"

"The reason for this meeting is to inform you of what will be happening to you and your kind." Harmony replied.

"Indeed", Gaia said, "You and the rest of the Titans on earth will be moved to Harmony's world so that you don't die in the coming extinction of earth."

That sentence had halted Gojira's train of thought the moment it left Gaia's mouth. He was left starring at Gaia and Harmony in complete disbelief. The death of earth, no not death, her words were extinction. The place he called home would be destroyed, he and his kind would be moved to another world? This was a lot and before his thoughts could spiral he felt a hand on his shoulder. Gojira looked to see Gaia, hand on his shoulder, looking at him with a calm expression. It helped him calm down and he took a deep breath before letting it out. He looked back towards Gaia and gave her a nod. She let go of his shoulder and moved back to stand next to Harmony, and then she waved her hand and made a screen appear.

"In multiple parts of the universe, stars are exploding but they are doing so in a way that is turning into a series of events" Gaia explained, "These stars are setting off other smaller ones but it is causing a chain of stars, new and old, to explode and that is ripping apart the universe."

"Around half of your universe has already been destroyed and the sector where earth is will be destroyed in about a week." Harmony continued, "But Gaia doesn't want to call it closer so she called out to me and I agreed to her plan"

"So we have been contacting certain Titans to tell them of what will be happening." Gaia finished

"So we will all be transported to a new world so we don't die?" Gojira asked, before adding, "Why?"

"Because your kind has gone through many hardships, and the newest generation has been scarred by humanity in their very creation. Plus I have a soft spot for your kind." Gaia explained.

"So when will this be happening then?" Gojira asked

"As soon as this conversation is over the process will commence," Harmony said, "It is not that hard and every Titan, New, and Old, from earth and not from earth will be transported simultaneously."

"Those who are in hibernation will stay in hibernation and the others will figure out the new world after being fed certain information," Gaia said

"Huh, very well then." Gojira said, "I'll leave you to it then."

Harmony raised a brow at that, "No questions?"

Gojira shook his head before he turned around and started to fade away, signaling his leaving of this call. He faded the more he walked and before he fully vanished he said, "I'll figure it out."

Harmony turned her attention back towards Gaia, who just shrugged at Gojira's response. Harmony huffed and shook her head before lifting a hand and concentrated her magic into it. Gaia did the same and both magics started to combine, causing a giant ball of magical energy to emerge. The ball got larger and larger before rapidly shrinking into the size of a golf ball. Both clapped their hands and the energy blasted outwards in a pulse fashion before it faded away.

At the end of it, Gaia had looked paler and see-through than before. Her breathing had gotten a little heavier and Harmony moved towards her to rest a hand on the other deity. Gaia looked towards her and gave a tired smile before she shifted into a sitting position and looking out into the void they were in. Harmony looked out as well before letting go of Gaia and turning to leave.

"Take care of them please."

Harmony paused in her walk and looked back towards Gaia. She hadn't moved, she still had her back towards Harmony but she could see droplets of tears coming down her cheeks. Harmony let out a sigh and continued onward, slowly disappearing as she left. She turned around to face Gaia once again and whispered, "I'll try." before vanishing completely. Gaia smiled as she stared off into the void, slowly vanishing into nonexistence, she looked up and closed her eyes as the void around her had started to glow brightly, indicating the end of her universe. She was content to know that the Titans would still live on and smiled as she and her universe vanished from existence.

Prologue: The Children of The King

The sun was rising, signifying the start of a new day in Equestria which meant that many ponies were getting up at this time. Multiple ponies such as shop owners, guard ponies, and a certain stallion who's made it a point to get up at dawn throughout his time in Equestria, or more specifically, the capital city Canterlot.

It is in this city that a castle is located, the castle of Princess Celestia. The Alicorn who raises the sun and has been ruling Equestria alone for the past 1,000 years. Though she isn't the main focus right now as she was starting her day in a different room. No, the focus right now is on a stallion who is also living in the castle and starting to get out of bed. The stallion throws himself out of his bed and lands on the ground with a solid 'Thud'. This is enough to get rid of the remaining weariness as he fully opens his yellow eyes.

The stallion picks himself off the ground and walks over to the mirror in his room to give himself a once over. As he looks himself over, he takes in the image of himself as he had done for the past 30 years. The stallion had a ruffled and black mane that stretched from the top of his head to his tail, which happened to be about as long as he was as it stretched out, like a reptile. His coat was a lighter shade of black from his mane and he had a brownish scaled underside that reached from the bottom of his chin to the end of his tail. The ends of his hooves ended in three-toed black claws and his teeth were sharp, like a predator.

As he stared at himself, giving a once over, the stallion proceeded to shake himself, similar to a dog. After shaking himself and giving himself another check the stallion turned towards the knocking sound coming from the door. The stallion narrowed his eyes and took a sniff of the air and once he got the scent of who it was, he relaxed and calmly said "Enter". Upon saying that, a mare dressed in a maid's uniform opened the door and came into the room. She walked in and turn to stare at the stallion in front of her or, more accurately, to stare up at the stallion in front of her.

The mare barely reached the stallions underside so she had to crane her head pretty far back to stare the stallion in the eyes. Though she didn't look like she was experiencing any discomfort as she stared directly into the stallion's eyes she said: "Sir Gojira, the royal bathhouse is ready for your use."

"Thank you, Sweetbread," Gojira replies while walking towards the door.

"Of course sir. Is there anything else you require?" Sweetbread asks as she starts to fix the bed.

"No. You can keep going on your regular schedule." Gojira said as he walked out the door, before abruptly stopping.

Sweetbread notices the lack of Hoofsteps and turns around to face Gojira. "Sir Gojira, is everything ok?" She asks as Gojira turns around to stare at the mare. He walks up to her and narrows his eyes, scanning her. Sweetbread doesn't say anything as Gojira looks her over for a few seconds before looking her back in the eyes and asking "Did you do something new to your mane?"

Sweetbread smiles and nods in acknowledgment while saying "Yes actually, I got it done this morning."

Gojira cracks a faint grin and nods towards her "It looks good" he says while turning and walking back towards and out the door. Sweetbread smiles and gets back to work on making Gojira's room, happy that somepony noticed her new look. As Sweetbread gets back to her job, Gojira walks down the hallways towards the royal bathhouse. He notices and nods to the guards he sees on his way there and they nod back to be polite. After about a 10 minute walk, Gojira arrives at the bathhouse and enters.

The bathhouse was very large and was already misty due to the warm water that already filled the entire bath. Gojira wasted no time and immediately walked into the water to feel the warmth surround his body. He dived under and re-emerged just so that he could get his whole body wet and just relax as he let the soothing feeling of the water claim him. As Gojira relished in the comfort of the bath, he heard the doors to the bathhouse open and looked to see who had walked in. It was a very tall and regal looking mare with a pure white coat and ethereal mane. The mare had a pair of wings on her sides and a long horn atop her head and a mark on her hind legs that looked like the sun.

Her magenta-colored eyes stared into Gojira's yellow ones and the two just stared at each other. Gojira broke the silence by saying "Well? Are you just gonna stand there or what?"

The mare smiles gently and nods in response before walking into the bath. Gojira just sat there as the mare got closer to him and eventually was in front of him. Gojira stared at her and then raised his tail into the air before slamming it into the water making a splash that drenched the mare. She moved pieces of her mane out of her face to stare at Gojira with a slight frown. Gojira's neutral expression slowly morphed into a grin and the mare did the same before giggling lightly, "Now that was quite rude Gojira."

"Well, you're not having the best of mornings seeing as you just stood and stared at me as you walked in here. So I thought you needed a little something to make you aware of your surroundings Celestia."

Celestia huffed and relaxed her shoulder, "I suppose you are right in that regard. In truth, I am a little worried about a recent development."

"What could have you worried?"

"Well, a few days ago I took a filly in as my personal student, and I'm worried that..." Celestia responded with a sad tone while closing her eyes.

Gojira immediately knew what she was going to say, so he moved closer and hugged her. She leaned into his embrace and they both sat there, remembering the child that they had failed. It hurt both of them to think back to her but Gojira and Celestia couldn't help but remember her, especially with the news of Celestia taking another student.

"You're worried this new student will end up the same as our little flame, aren't you?" Gojira questioned, to which he felt Celestia nod into his chest. At the confirmation of his suspicion, Gojira just sighed. It was a natural fear, Gojira knew this all too well. He and Celestia had closed themselves off from others when their 'little flame', as they called her, had taken a darker path. Gojira pushed the pain he felt deep within him as he had done time and time again whenever he felt hurt or sad. He was a King, but more importantly, he was Celestia's other half, if she was feeling vulnerable he needed to be invulnerable. Especially considering how Celestia had handled what had happened.

Saying Celestia had taken it hard was an understatement. She had cried herself to sleep and constantly blamed herself for what happened. Though she was over 1,000 years old and had been running a country for all that time, she was still just a pony, who felt emotions such as joy, anger, pain, and even sorrow. As such, she had taken it very poorly when the mare, that was all but legally her daughter, deserted her and Gojira in search of power. She never showed her emotions when in public, as she had to maintain her image as to not worry her little ponies. But when she lowered the sun and was left alone, she let it all out and cried herself to sleep for months.

Gojira helped her get through the emotional roller coaster she was on and Celestia eventually stopped crying herself to sleep. Though the damage was done and wouldn't be healed anytime soon. Nevertheless, Celestia had gone back to be her old self, mostly. Due to the whole ordeal, Celestia and Gojira were very, VERY cautious about letting others into their inner circle. But now, with this new filly that Celestia had found, Gojira knew that somepony new would be entering and that thought scared him. Though he knew that he had to say something to calm Celestia's, and his, nerves.

"I don't think you're all that worried."

Celestia lifted her head from Gojira's chest to stare at him in slight disbelief. Gojira looked down to see Celestia's face and continued from there. "You say you're worried, yet you saw this filly and made her your personal student. You see great potential in her and you want to make sure she gets there so don't be afraid to let her in."

Celestia stared at Gojira for a while before she started to smile at him and say, "I suppose you're right."

Gojira nodded and finally let go of Celestia while moving to grab the soap to clean himself. He grabbed one for himself and one for Celestia, who enveloped it in her magic and started to clean herself. As they cleaned themselves, Gojira asked, "Am I going to meet your student?"

"I would hope so. If she is going to be learning directly under me then she is bound to meet you. I would like to have that meeting sooner rather than later."

Gojira hummed in response and continued to clean himself. He thought of how the young filly would react when she would meet him. Most ponies are off-put by his appearance and of how Gojira gave off the feeling of a predator. Though, now most ponies just ignored him if he was to walk around the streets of Canterlot, mostly just getting glances from ponies. Except for the nobles, who completely and utterly despised him mostly due to the fact of his relationship with Celestia, he chuckled at that, if only those fools knew the extent of their 'relationship'. Pushing those thoughts away, Gojira was interested in meeting the filly that caught Celestia's eye, so he just continued washing himself thinking of meeting Celestia's new pupil.

A couple of hours had passed and Gojira was just taking a stroll through the castle. He caught a couple of guards staring at him when he walked by, most likely new recruits. Gojira continued walking through the castle before he found himself walking past the entrance to the royal gardens. He would've kept on walking were it not for the fact that he saw a lone unicorn filly sitting under a tree. This caught Gojira's attention and caused him to walk towards the little filly while reminiscing about a similar event that happened years ago.

Gojira grumbled as he made his way to Celestia's room, for the 5th time that day. He was tired of having her assign all these guards to him. They didn't want to follow him and he didn't need babysitters, he had proved his worth when he got rid of that assassin that was trying to kill her. Honestly, he didn't even know about the plot to kill Celestia, the assassin just happened to mess up and move towards Gojira's direction with a knife. Gojira never even hesitated and ended that pony's life but Celestia saw the whole thing and wanted to commend him.

That led to a conversation that essentially ended with Gojira getting a new home. But ever since then, she had been assigning him, guards, to watch over him. At first, he ignored it but then they started to become a problem and he scarred them off as a result. Wasn't hard to do see as he was a head taller than Celestia and therefore towered over them. But Celestia kept assigning new ones to him, and he had talked to her 4 times already about the subject. He was done playing nice and was going to have this problem fixed, one way or another.

He made his way to Celestia's room and barged right in, giving the guards death glares as to stop them from doing anything. He expected to see Celestia when he walked in, he was not expecting to see a small child pony, 'filly' he remembered, sitting next to Celestia's bookcase reading a big book. He looked around and sniffed the room before looking at the filly. He marched towards her and stopped just in front of the very tiny child. He saw her look of fear but noted how she didn't curl in on herself.

"Where is she?"

He saw the look in the filly's eyes, she knew who he was talking about and he knew she knew. But the look changed into something different, the look of feigned ignorance. It was the same look the firebird would give him when he caused trouble and Gojira found out about it. Often Anguirus would try to calm them when the eventual arguing and subsequent brawl broke out. His thoughts paused on that before he pushed them away and focused on the child. She looked at him for a couple of seconds before responding with some of the worst acting he's seen.

"Who?"

"Don't even try to play that card kid, you're not convincing anyone with that."

"You're a stranger who barged into the princess's room and are now menacingly towering over a small child. I could just scream and the guards will handle the rest."

Gojira raised an eyebrow at that and gave the kid some credit. She didn't back down in fear of his size alone and by all accounts had just threatened him. Now that he was paying attention to the filly he noticed that she was a unicorn and had a red and yellow mane. She had a light amber coat and her mark, he refused to use the real term, was that of a red and yellow sun. He eyed her some more before moving towards her and was about to say something before her horn lit up and she fired a small blast of magic at him.

Gojira stopped and stared at the spot on his chest where the filly had shot him. He slowly looked back towards her and saw that she had a look of both pride and worry. It appeared that she had done this on accident and probably was just going to try and scare him with some false bravado. He didn't move and just kept starring at the filly before he started to laugh. Once he stopped he moved towards the filly again but stopped at the edge of the carpet she was on and laid down. He thought about some of the things Mosura had told him about when wanting to interact with children

"You impress me, kid, shooting me like that."

"Ugh... Thanks?"

"What's your name kid?"

"Sunset. Sunset Shimmer. What about you, freakishly tall and weird-looking stallion?"

Gojira chuckled at that before responding, "The names Gojira."

The filly didn't notice his presence as he walked and sat right next to her. Gojira cleared his throat and still, the filly did not look up from her book. Gojira snorted and nudged her a little, which seemed to get her attention as the filly put the book down.

"What?" was the annoyed reply Gojira got from taking her attention away from the book the filly was reading. She tilted her head up slightly, expecting to see the face of an adult. But all she saw was the lower portion of a scaled chest, which made her look up even more. She kept looking until she met Gojira's eyes and seemed to just stare at him. Her eyes were wide with wonder and Gojira could have sworn he saw a little curiosity in her eyes. That made him smirk, revealing his sharp teeth to which the filly recoiled slightly.

Looking over the filly, he could see that her coat was a light purple and that her mane and tail were dark indigo, with a streak of pink and purple in it. Her purple eyes looked at him with fear and wonder, which he assumed came from seeing a pony that looked so different from everypony else. Gojira noticed her mark, which looked like a pink star surrounded by five smaller white ones. Gojira glanced at her book and from the title alone he could guess that this was Celestia's new student.

"That's a pretty complicated book young one. Why are you reading it?"

The filly eyed him for just a bit before slowly answering, "Because I'm Princess Celestia's personal student, I need to be able to handle complex material."

"A reasonable assumption, but I can let you know now. She doesn't get to the more complex stuff until the 4th year of her teaching."

The filly looked at him in surprise before quickly asking, "How do you know?"

"I'm one of the Princess's closest friends, I've seen her teach before."

The filly scrunched up and backed up a little, eyeing Gojira, "How do I know you're telling the truth?"

Gojira thought for a second before having an idea. He looked around checking for others before leaning down to the filly's eye level. He motioned for her to come closer, which she did hesitantly. He looked around one more time before whispering into her ear.

"Celestia sneaks out of her bedroom every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday night to the royal kitchen for some cake. She does this because she doesn't want to be seen eating lots of cake and the papers question if her butt will get bigger because of it."

The filly started to laugh at the outlandish claim and Gojira smiled at that. If this kid was going to stick around, he was determined to have her see Celestia in the act because if she was laughing this much at him telling her this, she would laugh even harder if she saw it. The filly settled down after another minute of laughing and caught her breath.

"Hehe... You have to be her friend if you know something like that. I'm Twilight Sparkle, who are you?"

"The names Gojira. And just a heads up, you'll be seeing a lot more of me if you're gonna be Celestia's student."

Twilight smiled, "I think I could get used to that."

Gojira smiled down at her and proceeded to stand up. Reminding Twilight of how tall Gojira was as compared to other ponies as she barely came up to half of his forearm. Twilight got up too and picked up her book in her magic, stuffing it into the little bag that she had. She turned back to Gojira, only to see him walking towards the door that lead back into the castle.

Twilight scurried over to him and followed right beside him, listening as he said, "Well, let's get to your lesson then."

That sentence had brought Twilight back to reality as she realized that she didn't know what time it was. She looked around and spotted a clock on one of the walls. The time read 9:58. Twilight's eyes shrunk to the size of pins as she jumped in the air while screaming "I'm gonna be late". And with that, she bolted right for Celestia's room.

Gojira chuckled as she ran and started to jog to catch up with her impressive lead. All the while thinking, 'What kind of mess did I just sign up for?'. He shook his head and started to run towards Twilight, easily catching her, picking her up, and placing her on his back in one swift motion. Twilight looked down at Gojira and he looked back at her with a sharp grin. She smiled in return and that was all Gojira needed to high tail it into gear and start racing towards Celestia's room. All the while, Twilight screaming and laughing with joy as she was rushed to her lesson.

Ch 1. Another Royal Added to The Family

View Online

Gojira sighed as he remembered the first time he had met Twilight and it brought him joy. She was so young and filled with wonder, and he was right in his assumptions about her. He had become a father figure to her, so much so that at one point she had started calling him 'Papa' and 'father'. Gojira was fine with it until he remembered that she had an actual family, with an actual father. What happened after was Gojira confronting her father about the whole ordeal and, to his surprise, Twilight's father was very calm throughout the whole thing and didn't mind what so ever that Twilight had given him the title. His explanation was along the lines of how Gojira had taken the role of a father figure as Twilight saw him more than she saw her actual father. Plus, Twilight had already talked to her dad about the whole thing and he was fine as she knew who her dad was.

The only thing Twilight's father had Gojira do was bring Twilight to see her family at least once a week, a deal which Gojira had readily agreed to. The years continued and Gojira had watched twilight grow from a young filly into a wonderful young mare, and he couldn't be more proud. Though there were things that he wished she would work on, such as making some friends(Wow, he knew he had changed while living here but even he didn't think it was THAT much). Though that was quickly fixed when Celestia had sent her to a small town named Ponyville where she defeated Celestia's corrupted sister.

Now that was something Gojira was not expecting, but he was proud of his hatchling. He was proud that she was coming out of her shell and had made friends and they were quite some interesting characters. They each had some flaws but he admitted that each of them represents their elements without question. Though he was annoyed every now and then by the element of loyalty, there were certain things she did that reminded him of the Fire Demon. He's always been annoyed with the bird and seeing that loyalty mimicked some of his mannerisms irked him.

He got over it rather quickly though as his focus was shifted away from Twilight and her friends to Celestia's sister, Luna. Luna is someone that Gojira had been worried to meet and his worries were justified for the first week Luna had returned. Luna had been glued to Celestia's side for that whole week and when Gojira had been asleep in her older sister's bed, Luna had not taken that very well. After that night Luna would glare at Gojira every time she saw him and Gojira was getting annoyed. He put up with it for two weeks, only because of Celestia talking to him, but at the start of the 4th week of Luna's return, Gojira had had enough.

Luna had been on her way to Celestia's room to continue catching up on everything that she missed, Gojira had stopped her and dragged her to the garden. It was there that the two had a battle that lasted for about an hour or two before Luna couldn't fight. Whatever happened after that, Gojira and Luna wouldn't say and whenever Celestia asked, they both would only reply with, "20". After that, they got along well enough, and eventually, Luna warmed up enough to officially welcome Gojira to the family.

It was after this that things got interesting, so to say, in Gojira's life. The avatar of Chaos, Discord, had escaped his prison and had almost taken over Equestria. He was beaten in the end thanks to Twilight pulling her friends together and catching Discord off guard. After that was Cadence getting married and the Changeling invasion that had followed. Gojira really needed to talk with Celestia and Luna about security and such when he got back but the wedding was saved once again by Twilight. He did make a mental note though to give the Elements and Celestia a talking to when he learned that no one had given Twilight the benefit of the doubt when she suspected something was amiss.

After that came the return of the Crystal Empire and with it the dark king Sombra. Gojira had to commend Cadence for the willpower of keeping up the shield that was keeping everypony safe. He was even more proud of Spike for delivering the Crystal Heart to its rightful place and end Sombra. Gojira honestly felt that all of these things could have gone differently if he had been there.

He had left the night of the Grand Galloping Gala to do his routine check up on the world. He had been putting it off for a while and now was the time to get on it. He had been getting updates from Celestia on everything that was going on and even when he felt he should turn back, he didn't. He wanted to, especially during Discord's escape, but he reminded himself that if his hatchling was to lead the Elements of Harmony, then she would need to do things on her own. He kept up his routine checking and just when he had finished he got another message from Celestia. He expected another talk of how Twilight and her friends saved the day from another old villain but it was certainly not that. No, apparently Twilight had completed an old spell and had become an Alicorn and was going to have a coronation for becoming Equestria's newest princess. Gojira had rushed his journey home the moment Celestia said Twilight had become an Alicorn. Gojira had only one thing on his mind during his speed swim home, make it before his hatchling's coronation.

Gojira had thanked everything that when he made it the day before Twilight's coronation. He walked into the castle without a problem and made his way to the dining room. He heard from the guards that everypony was there going over exactly how the coronation was going to go. As he made his way towards the room he started to pick up on the conversation.

"Is there anything from papa Princess?"

"I'm afraid he hasn't contacted me since I told him of your coronation Twilight."

Gojira smiled at that, his hatchling wanted him there and he wouldn't miss it. But he halted at the door and listened in for just a little bit longer.

"Can you track him, sister?"

"I've tried but every spell I've used always ends up failing. I've asked him about it and he says it was a parting gift from an old friend."

"Old friend huh."

At that point, Gojira had decided to make himself known. He didn't like the tone in Loyalty had when she spoke, but she wasn't wrong. The gift of not being able to be tracked was from the previous Queen and she was far from just an old friend. But Gojira hadn't talked with Celestia about past partners and he was a bit hesitant about it, but if the topic came up he wouldn't lie about it. Aside from that though, he thought about having some fun with this. Loyalty didn't hold him in high regard due to earlier interactions between the two and he would take advantage of it. Besides, he hadn't had a good laugh in a while. So he pushed open the doors with a little force and immediately set his eyes on Loyalty.

"Care to elaborate on that Loyalty?" Gojira stalked towards her after speaking, making sure to snarl and show off his teeth. He stopped right in front of her and had to admit that he was impressed. Though he could tell she was scared, she tried to act tough. He waited for a response and just as she was about to open her mouth he stomped on the ground and gave a loud snarl. She jumped back and fell on the floor and Gojira felt she had enough so he stopped his act and laughed in response.

Rainbow looked at Gojira and then towards the others once she realized he was laughing. The Twilight and the royals were giggling along with Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Rarity and Fluttershy were looking at the exchange with worried faces before becoming slightly more relaxed as the others giggled. She picked herself up and got back in her seat before grumbling a bit, her face going a bit red at being embarrassed.

After the giggling was over the realization of Gojira being there finally sunk in for everypony. Twilight happily shouted, "Papa!" before teleporting over to and hugging him. Gojira chuckled before looking over to see Celestia making her way over and hugging him as well. Gojira sighed happily at the affection and hugged back before they all separated. Gojira looked to his left to see Luna standing there and smiling at Gojira. Gojira smiled back and pulled Luna into a hug as well and though she was startled by it she did hug back.

After that, he made his way to the married couple to greet them, "Armor." He said while nodding towards him. Shinning Armor nodded back with a smile and then Gojira turned to face Cadence. "Niece." he greeted before hugging her, to which she hugged back, "Hello Uncle." Gojira then shifted his attention to Spike and ruffled the scales on his head, "Young drake." Spike chuckled before giving Gojira a quick hug, "Hey Gojira." Gojira looked towards the elements and gave them all a nod. They all gave him their greetings before he turned his attention back to Twilight.

"You're here," she said with glee.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss my own hatchling's coronation." Gojira said, "Speaking of which. Let me see them."

Twilight smiled nervously before slowly opening and showing off her wings. They matched her coat in color and looked a bit bigger than the average size for pegasus wings. He walked around her to see them from every angle before stopping at her side and nipped a loose feather. After that, he walked to look at her head-on.

"They look natural on you. Like you were always meant to have them." Gojira said, pride emanating from his voice.

Twilight blushed from the praise and fidgeted a bit in place. That only made Gojira crack a smile before looking towards Celestia and asking, "So, what's the plan for her coronation?"

"Nothing much." She replied, "Just the standard walk through the hall, a quick couple of words from me about how proud I am of her, and then a presentation of her to the populace."

"Not to mention an aerial display from Rainbow Dash ending with a sonic rainboom," Twilight added.

"Oh?" Gojira shifted his attention to Loyalty and she stood tall at the mention of her crowning achievement. He gave her a genuine smile before saying, "I look forward to it."

Loyalty appeared shocked for a second before switching to a smirk and puffed out her chest. Gojira rolled his eyes at that and let everypony continue to talk about all the smaller details regarding the coronation tomorrow. As everypony talked, Gojira made his way towards Celestia and stood next to her before leaning on her and wrapping his tail around her frame. She smiled and leaned back into him and they just enjoyed each other's embrace as the rest continued to talk.

Gojira clawed at his neck a bit before feeling eyes on him and looked to see Celestia staring at him. He stopped and stood still in the line up of heroes and royals. The Elements were all wearing dresses and stood together off to the left while the royals stood in the middle. Celestia stood in the middle with Cadence and Shining Armor on her left and Luna and himself on her right. The Princesses all wore immaculate dresses while Armor and Himself wore tuxes that complimented the princesses they were with. He stood tall as Celestia had started with her speech.

"We are gathered here today in celebration of a momentous occasion." Celestia started, "My most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, has done many extraordinary things since she's lived in Ponyvile. She even helped reunite me with my sister, Princess Luna." She looked towards her sister and smiled, Luna smiled back in return and Celestia once again faced the audience.

"But today, Twilight Sparkle did something extraordinary. She created new magic, proving without a doubt that she is ready to be crowned Equestria's newest princess." Celestia stopped talking before looking towards Gojira. He was confused as to why she was looking at her and the audience had started to become confused as well. He felt a nudge from his side and looked towards Luna before she gave a quiet grunt. With that, he realized why Celestia stopped.

Gojira took a step forward before clearing his throat, all the ponies gathered looked towards him as he said, "Fillies and gentle colts, may we present for the very first time, Princess Twilight Sparkle!"

The audience turns towards the doors as Twilight steps through them followed by her royal procession. The procession was singing some sort of melodic song about Twilight. She walked through the room and stopped at the base of the small podium that Gojira and the rest were standing on. They all moved so Twilight would have room to stand and spike had moved towards Twilight, carrying a pillow that held the element of magic as it was to be her crown. Celestia levitated it up and placed it on Twilight's head as she turned to face the crowd in the room.

The crowd stared in awe of the newest princess and had started to bow before her. Twilight smiled nervously as she nodded and they all raised their heads. From there, she and everypony else had moved towards the balcony so Twilight could be seen by the rest of the city. Celestia and Luna stood next to Twilight as she waved to the massive audience of cheering ponies. Twilight waved and smiled before Celestia leaned to her ear and whispered, "Say, something Princess."

Twilight looked towards the crowd before clearing her throat. That didn't work as the cheering was so loud and just as she was about to try something else, a low but load rumble emitted from behind her and silenced everypony. Twilight looked back and saw Gojira give her a small smile and nod. Twilight nodded back and looked towards the crowd.

"A little while ago, my teacher and mentor Princess Celestia sent me to live in Ponyville. She sent me to study friendship, which is something I didn't care much about." Twilight looked towards her friends, who all smiled right back at her. She waved them over and turned to face them as she spoke her next words, "But now, on a day like today, I can honestly say I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for the friendships I've made with all of you. Each one of you taught me something about friendship, and for that, I will always be grateful."

Each of her friends were standing with tears in their eyes at Twilight's kind words. Twilight herself whipped her tears away before turning to face the crowd once more, "Today, I consider myself the luckiest pony in Equestria. Thank you, friends. Thank you, everypony!"

The crowd erupted in cheers once more, loving the words said by the newest princess of Equestria. Twilight and her friends waved towards the crowd as they cheered while Celestia and Luna simply stood by and watched. As they did this, Gojira quietly walked over to Rainbow Dash and whispered, "I think that's your cue." Rainbow dawned a look of remembrance before taking a couple of steps back and blasting off into the sky. She left behind a rainbow trail before making a giant boom with her sonic rainboom.

Gojira chuckled as she returned to her friends with a pleased look on her face. They all moved back into the room to carry on with the rest of the day. He saw Twilight go over to her parents and talk with them before they were joined by her brother and Cadence. He smiled as Twilight talked with her friends and family and didn't notice how Celestia and Luna had moved to stand next to him.

He continued to stare at Twilight as he asked, "As proud as I am of her, are you sure she is ready for this?"

"She is more than ready, whether she realizes that or not is a different matter." Luna replied before adding, "Though with the elements by her side I do not doubt that she will be just fine."

Gojira hummed in response before looking over towards Celestia, "And you? My brilliant sun."

Celestia leaned into Gojira's side and wrapped a wing around him. In response, Gojira moved his tail so that it was laying around her on the ground. She smiled brightly as she looked at Twilight before answering, "Yes, she's ready."

Gojira chuckled at that and looked on towards the scene around them. Many ponies had been talking to Twilight, offering her their congratulations and simply talking to her. She smiled and talked back with those who spoke to her. She turned to stare and smiled at Celestia, Luna, and himself and waved at them. He chucked and waved back before he heard Celestia quietly asking, "We did good, huh?"

Gojira stayed quiet for a moment and remembered everything that had happened since Twilight had come into their lives. He remembered all the little adventures he would take her on when she was young. All the lessons he rushed her to when she wasn't paying attention to the time. The meals she shared with himself and Celestia, the late nights they tucked her into bed, and all the times they spent together as a family. He pictured the small filly that stood before him all those years ago and when he opened his eyes, he saw the wonderful mare she had grown up into. He gave a gentle smile and quietly replied.

"Yes."

Ch 2. The King and His Family

View Online

The days after Twilight's coronation had a fair bit of excitement to them. Well, excitement for the press that is, Gojira would describe it as a rage-induced nightmare. A picture from the press showed him and Celestia in each other's embrace with smiles on their faces. That single picture sent the entire noble cast into an uproar, demanding to know whether Celestia and he were in a relationship. Gojira was fine with telling the public, but he did admit that he liked the privacy of only his family knowing. Celestia had announced that all questions would be answered by Gojira and herself sometime next week.

The thing that made Gojira angry though, was the press themselves. These ponies were willing to go to extremes to try and get answers before the official press hearing. They tried questioning Celestia and Luna in their respective courts, they tried to get answers from Armor and Cadence, and even went to Ponyvile to bother Twilight. That made his blood boil and he struggled to keep composure when the press confronted him. He didn't know how Celestia dealt with them but if this kept going on, he was going to lose it.

Luckily the day of the conference had come and Gojira was relieved, so very relieved. They could answer the questions of the populace and finally put this behind themselves. He and Celestia walked to the room where Celestia's assistant, Raven Inkwell, was handling things so far. The two walked into the room and the ponies had gone wild, they started asking questions left and right and kept going until Celestia unfurled her wings. That act silenced them and made Gojira chuckle, the way these ponies worshiped the princesses reminded him of the way the old humans worshiped himself when he became the last of his kind. After the ponies gathered had become quiet, Celestia began to speak.

"My little ponies, I know you have questions, and we will answer what we can." She started, "But know this if we decide to not answer a question, that will be the end of it. Do not ask the same question differently and do not ask an insensitive question, please."

It was after she spoke her piece, Gojira decided to add something else, "With that said, let me answer the main question that is at the top of all your minds. Celestia and I are mates."

That sentence had once again sent the ponies into a frenzy. Though before Celestia could say anything Gojira let out a loud rumble. That silenced the crowd and they stayed silent as he glared at them. Gojira huffed and stood tall next to Celestia and waited a few more seconds before saying anything.

"Now ask questions the way you are SUPPOSED to."

The crowd stayed silent after Gojira spoke, they all were still shocked at how he had gotten their attention. That and he was pretty sure his glare wasn't helping. Ponies by nature were prey and because Gojira was an apex predator, he could easily guess that they stayed silent due to fear. He thought he would have to say something to get them to talk but a pony in the back raised their hoof. Gojira looked and saw that it was a pegasus mare with a tie around her neck, holding a quill and notebook. Gojira nodded towards her and she floated above the crowd so she could see the royals

"Quickwrite, from LP Times, what exactly do you mean when you say you and Princess Celestia are mates?" Quickwrite asked.

"It is exactly as I say, she is bound to me as I am bound to her. My kind uses the term similarly to how ponies use the term married." Gojira explained.

"In addition to that, Gojira and I are legally married, we have been for a little over 20 years," Celestia added.

In response to that, more ponies raised their hooves into the air. Celestia scanned the crowd before pointing to a unicorn stallion. The stallion wore a fedora and also carried a quill and notebook and he had this dull look on his face, it set him apart from the rest of the reporters as they all had a variety of emotions on their faces.

"Scoop, with Canterlot weekly." the stallion said, "Why keep this relationship a secret? And does this make Gojira an equal in authority to you Princess?"

"While I may be your Princess, I do have my own life. Gojira and I agreed to keep our relationship hidden from the public as it allowed us to just enjoy it and not worry about public opinion." Celestia answered, "And yes, though when it comes to key decisions regarding Equestria, Luna and I are still the ones who have the final word." After that, Celestia then pointed to the unicorn mare standing next to Scoop.

"I can assume that you didn't wear wedding rings to keep your relationship hidden, but since you've decided to reveal it, why aren't you wearing them?" She asked.

"That is because when we were wed, we decided to combine aspects of the ceremony from both our cultures," Celestia explained.

"Indeed, we did the ceremony in accordance with how ponies do it. But we substituted the rings for how my species show each other bonded pairs."

"And that would be?" The mare followed up.

"To show that a male and female are mates, my species bites each other on the neck. Hard enough to leave a mark and somewhere on the neck that can be easily seen." Gojira answered before looking and nodding towards Celestia.

Celestia lit her horn for a second and an area on her and Gojira's necks lit up. After the magic left, the spot on their necks showed very distinctive bite marks. The one on Celestia was more noticeable as it contrasted her white coat while the one on Gojira was a little less noticeable. After revealing the bite marks, more ponies raised their hoofs and the questions continued for some time. Gojira and Celestia answered question after question and Gojira was starting to get bored.

Celestia was answering a question when a thought had entered Gojira's mind. Just being with Celestia, enjoying time with her, was a bit rare during the day as she had her duties. But, he could end this press conference with some quick lie and use it to spend the day with her. Come to think of it, they hadn't had a day to just be together as a family with Twilight and they haven't had one with Luna since her return. Gojira smiled at his thought and decided to put his plan in motion. Luckily enough, Celestia had just finished answering the pony's question.

"Alright, we've answered the important questions and now, we shall be getting back to important business," Gojira said while turning and walking away. Celestia stared at his retreating form before smiling to the ponies gathered and following after him. Celestia had walked and caught up to Gojira and simply followed him, interested in what Gojira was planning.

Gojira was walking down the royal wing of the castle, on the way over to the lunar diarch's bedroom. He had told Celestia to go to the gardens and wait for him while he got everything ready. He had talked to some guards and ordered that Day court be suspended for the day and all other royal duties as well. Luckily enough, news spread fast and almost every guard now knew of the authority Gojira held. With all that in order, Gojira made his way to Luna's room to get her.

He walked up to the door and knocked on it before waiting a bit. He knocked fairly hard so she should have heard it and he assumed correctly as he heard shuffling from the other side of the door. He backed up as the door opened and revealed a Luna who had definitely been in deep sleep if her bed hair was anything to go by. She looked up at Gojira and just stared for a second before moving aside and letting him in. Luna closes the door before turning around and sleepily looking at Gojira.

"And why are you waking me up so early Gojira?" Luna tiredly asked.

"Because we're having a family day. So wake yourself up while I send for Twilight." Gojira answered.

Luna slowly nodded and walked into her bathroom to get herself ready. Gojira stood still while lifting his head and let out a very low rumble from his throat. He kept it up for a little while longer before he finally stopped. He looked around for a bit and seemed to be about to do another one but was stopped by a purple flash. Gojira looked and saw Twilight standing in the room, looking around before her eyes landed on him.

"Papa! What's wrong? What's Going on??" Twilight frantically questioned.

"Relax young one, nothing is wrong. I called you over because we are having a family day." Gojira explained.

"Oh," Twilight said as she blushed and sheepishly looked up at Gojira. Gojira chuckled and looked up as Luna exited her bathroom. She was brushing her mane as she excited and put on her regalia. Though before she could finish Gojira cleared his throat. She paused and looked over to see Gojira shaking his head, she paused before taking the regalia off. Gojira nodded and had started to walk out of the room. Luna and Twilight greeted each other before following after Gojira. They saw Gojira talk to a guard before the guard saluted and wandered off. He turned around and smiled at them before waving them over and continued walking as the two alicorns followed him.

Celestia sat under a tree within the immense Canterlot garden, simply enjoying the beautiful scenery. She waited for Gojira and for whatever it was he was planning. Honestly, while she was grateful that he ended the press conference she wasn't the biggest fan of keeping her from her duties. Sure her sister was back, but she needed more time before she could take on more work. Sure Luna had said that she was ready but she was just being safe, was it not her job to worry and look out for her younger sister? OK, now that she thought about it, she might be babying Luna. Maybe. Ugh, she could hear Gojira now, telling her how she needed to 'quit babying Luna' and 'Let her share the responsibility'. She let out a small humph, before hearing hoofsteps coming in her direction.

She turned her head to see Luna and Twilight heading towards her. She smiled as her sister and student walked towards her but was momentarily stunned when she saw Luna walking without her regalia. She was brought back when Twilight ran up and hugged her. Celestia smiled and hugged her back before moving over to hug Luna. She was about to ask why Luna wasn't wearing her regalia before seeing Gojira walking with a basket in his mouth and a unicorn guard walking next to him. She raised an eyebrow as Gojira stopped before her and then nodded to the guard. The guard looked a little uncomfortable before steeling his nerves and looking her in the eye.

"Your majesty, your regalia." He said before making a pillow appear, holding it in his magic, and dipping his head down to not look at her. Celestia was shocked and looked towards Gojira, who simply stared at her. She stood there for a minute or two before letting out a soft sigh. She took off her regalia and placed it on the pillow after which Gojira nudged the guard and he nodded before walking off with it. Gojira smiled and walked over to the others and setting the basket down. Celestia followed, feeling the grass on her hooves and smiling as it brought back memories.

"Alright, now I've had all royal duties postponed until tomorrow." Gojira said, "As such, this is going to be a family day, seeing as we haven't had one in a long time."

"Family day? What is this occasion?" Luna asked.

"Family day is something that Gojira and Celestia do as a way of getting away from all the work they do." Twilight explained, taking a seat and using her magic to start to rummage through the basket. She stopped as Gojira lightly slapped her with his tail and looked at her with a frown. He sat down next to the tree and turned to look at Luna before continuing.

"Indeed, at first it was something to get Celestia out of work and it evolved to have a day for the family. For us." Gojira finished as Celestia sat down next to him and levitated the basket over to them.

"Indeed and now we get to have it with you sister," Celestia said with glee.

Luna nodded and sat down before getting back up and using her magic to open the basket. She pulled out a blanket unfolded it, lifted everyone, set the blanket, and then set everyone back down. Everyone blinked before looking towards Luna, who just shrugged before sitting down saying, "I prefer not to sit on the grass." They all chuckled and started to eat the food in the basket, enjoying the food, and making conversation. It was nice, everyone enjoying each other, cracking jokes and talking about how the past couple of days and nights have been.

As the conversation was going on, Luna was regaling Twilight with a story from her and Celestia's youth. Gojira was listening while he laid down with his head up, interested in the story. Luna was getting to a part where she and Celestia were battling a beast and giving it her all. Hearing this, Gojira thought for a second on when the last time he had given Twilight a test. He thought about it and he hadn't given her a test since before she went to Ponyvile. Now that would not due but he didn't want to be rude, so he waited for Luna to finish her story.

The moment she did Gojira got up and walked over to Twilight, grabbing her by the nape of her neck. Twilight yelped at the sudden movement while both Luna and Celestia giggled at the scene before them. Twilight turned to look back at Gojira and saw the look in his eyes and immediately her mood turned sour. Gojira huffed and walked a bit away with her before setting her down.

"What's with the look hatchling?" Gojira asked.

"I know why you picked me up and I'm not happy," Twilight replied.

"Well whether this makes you happy or not is not my concern. My concern is to make sure you can defend yourself." He stated before adding, "Without. Magic."

Twilight huffed loudly, making it obvious that she wasn't happy. Gojira was starting to get annoyed with this, especially since his hatchling rarely had an attitude. But when it came to her physical training, her attitude always took a dip, and it only became more apparent over the years. It began to seriously get on his nerves and he made it known by letting out a growl that snapped her attention back to him.

"No attitude. I don't care whether you find this pleasant or not, this is for your safety." Gojira explained with seriousness, "I did this for Cadence, I did it for Sunny, and now I do it for you. So be ready, you have 10 seconds."

Twilight's eyes widened at that, "10 seconds! That's not enough time for me to properly analyze the situation! I need more time for a pro-"

"Times up!" Gojira yelled before barreling towards Twilight and starting their mock brawl. Twilight yelped and jumped out of the way so she wouldn't be trampled. Gojira lashed with his tail and slammed it into where Twilight was, slamming her into the ground. Twilight grunted in pain before looking up and quickly moving before Gojira's tail came down again. She twisted around and bucked Gojira in the hind leg causing him to fall over. This continued as Luna walked over and sat next to Celestia.

"So Gojira has Twilight Sparkle train in physical combat?" Luna questioned.

"Yes, though I was against it when he first suggested it for Cadence." Celestia said, "Though I relented once he brought how I knew how to defend myself without magic."

Celestia looked over to Luna and saw that she had a blank look on her face. Celestia frowned at that, "What?"

"Really sister?" Luna asked, "You are so naive at times it makes me wonder who is the older sibling."

"I just wanted for her to have some semblance of a normal childhood" Celestia replied with a pout.

"And she did, even with training with Gojira," Luna said with a grin.

Celestia chuckled before she replied, "Yes, yes she did which is why I had Gojira continue that training with Sunset and Twilight."

Luna nodded at that and returned her gaze to the brawl that was happening before her. Or rather, the brawl that had ended as when Luna and Celestia looked in front of them, they saw Twilight pinned down on the ground by Gojira's front leg and him growling at her. She struggled a bit more before going limp and tapping Gojira's arm. Gojira stopped growling and released his hold on Twilight before helping her up. They walked over to the diarchs and sat down with them, with Twilight in the middle of Celestia and Gojira and Luna on Celestia's left. They all sat on all fours with Gojira's tail curling around them all and Celestia draping her wings over Luna and Gojira, and by default Twilight.

Celestia looked in the sky and started to set the sun while Luna was bringing up the moon. They all had lost track of time in their fun and Gojira and Twilight looked up at the beautiful scene before them. With the sun raised and the moon in the sky, Luna then worked on the night sky itself, making gorgeous constellations and making the night shine with beauty. After Luna finished setting up the sky, they all just enjoyed the scene before them. Taking in the beauty of it and enjoying the fact that they were all here just enjoying the moment.

Ch 3. The Goddess's Warning

View Online

Gojira huffed as he sat in his chair on the way to the Crystal Empire. A summit was being held between leaders from a few other countries and Equestria. Gojira was originally going to stay in Canterlot but was brought along due to the news of him and Celestia being 'official'. He was not looking forward to going to this summit, sure he would get to see Cadence and Shining Armor again, but now he would have to deal with the things that Celestia and Luna dealt with. Meetings, delegations, talk of trade, having to present himself to other leaders, ugh. Sure he met other 'leaders' before, but it wasn't the same. Hell, the last time he met a 'leader' he fought her for about a day before she begged for her life and made a deal with him.

He was not looking forward to it but he was a little happy that Twilight was coming along. She and the elements had been invited due to being national heroes and because Twilight wanted support since this would be her first event as a Princess. He looked around the royal car that he and everypony else was in and saw that Twilight was talking to her friends, Luna was enjoying a book, and so was Celestia though she was also drinking some tea. He turned his head back to the window to look at the scenery. He was interested to see a city of crystal but he just wished it wasn't so far north.

He stared at the scenery as it changed to show ice and snow covering everything. The cold never bothered him, his natural radiation kept his body warm. No, it was what the ice and snow reminded him of that lead to his dislike of it. His greatest triumph as some had called it. The place that served as the prison for the one who fell from the stars. He scowled out the window, that was one memory that he would always clearly remember. He fought for his life that day, with everything he had and he had won. The ice and snow just reminded him of it, and that reminder brought it back in full.

The wind and snow howled all around him and the thunderstorm was harsh. The rain it produced wasn't natural, it felt like sharp claws digging into his scales. The constant flashes and strikes of lightning told him he was getting closer to his target. He had tracked him to the frozen antarctic and was determined to end this little dance they had. They had been battling each other off and on for a couple millennia, using the off years to heal their wounds before finding each other and battling again.

No more, this would be their final battle and he was going to make sure of it. He stopped his approach once he turned at a small mountain. He looked over and saw his opponent land on the ground. His clawed feet landing on the ice with a solid thud and his golden scales glistening in the night. The middle head turned his way and snarled, signaling the other two to do the same. They turned to him and kept their crouched position, ready to strike.

"Come for another fight lizard?" The middle asked

He growled in response and let out a low roar, letting it emanate all around the frozen terrain around them. He steadied himself and started to flash his spines. He growled in anger at the hydra before him and that was apparently enough to annoy the right one.

"It doesn't matter the reason you came, this all ends with your long and painful death!" The right exclaimed.

The left chirped before saying to his brothers, "I'm ready when you two are."

That was enough for Gojira, this dragon irked him and he wanted nothing more than his death. They had battled for millennia after millennia, no more. This dance of theirs was going to end here, one way or another.

"Stop talking." Gojira said, "LET'S END THIS!!!!"

Ghidorah stood up straight with all his heads held high. He stretched his wings and raised them into the air, they cloaked the area in front of him, covering it in his shadow. His tails raised behind him and the serrated fans on the ends startled rattling. They stomped a foot before all three heads snarled at Gojira with their horns flared. Gojira slammed his foot on the ground before raising his tail and slamming it. He raised it again and he stood to his full height, eyeing the hydra that stood in front of him.

They stared at each other for a few seconds before roaring at each other. They immediately ran towards each other, slamming into each other with enough force to create a shockwave. The left head immediately went for Gojira's shoulder, biting down on it and ripping into Gojira's scales. Gojira grabbed the right head by the jaws and held his mouth closed while he bit down on the middle's neck. The middle roared in pain while the left let go of Gojira's shoulder and bit down on his neck.

Gojira immediately let go of the middle and roared out in pain. The middle used the opportunity to bite down on his arm and that forced Gojira to release the right. The right charged up his breath attack while the middle moved out of the way to avoid being hit. Right let it loose and blasted Gojira square in the chest, sending him skidding backward and causing him to fall over. Gojira felt the pain on his chest but ignored it and rolled over onto his front to try and get up.

He looked up and saw Ghidorah standing above him, grinning with mad glee. Gojira used this and lunged forward to bite down on their leg and yanked himself backward. They fell onto their back and Gojira took advantage of their downed position. He got up as quick as he could and turned around to slam his tail onto Ghidorah's chest. He kept it up until they bit down on his tail, which he violently pulled to his left which turned them slightly. From there, he stomped his foot onto their chest and charged up his breath.

Left and Right lunged for him with right biting down on his shoulder and he grabbed a hold of left and held him. Middle charged up his breath but Gojira stomped again, this time moving his foot so that he stomped on the base of Middle's neck. That stopped him long enough for Gojira to blast Middle and push him further into the ice. Middle roared in pain and Gojira kept on the attack until Right bit down on his gills. The immediate pain was enough for Gojira to lose concentration and stop his breath. Right sent a blast into Gojira's gills, which sent him backing away in pain. He used Gojira's moment of distraction and wrapped him in his tails to yank Gojira to the ground.

Ghidorah used this time to get on their feet and off their back. Gojira himself held his neck in pain before pushing it away and getting up himself. Ghidorah swiped at Gojira's face with his tails, the barbs in the ends coming out and slashing across his face. Gojira went down again as Ghidorah fully got off the ground and turned to stare at Gojira. Gojira rose as well and the stare down began again. It didn't last as long this time as they ran at each other but Ghidorah leaped off the ground, propelling himself up by opening up his wings. With their higher vantage point, Ghidorah used his body to slam into Gojira and the outer heads bit down on him.

Gojira slammed his tail into the ground and used it as a pushing point to push himself forward. Ghidorah slammed their feet into the ground but Gojira's raw strength was more than enough to push them back. Gojira kept pushing but once he stopped using the support of his tail, they came to a standstill. Until the ice under Ghidorah's right foot cracked and destabilized their balance, allowing Gojira to gain the upper hand and continue to push them back. Gojira slammed them into a mountain and then repeatedly slammed them into it.

Ghidorah roared and slammed their middle head into Gojira's while the other two wrapped around his arms and used the mountain as a pushing point to move Gojira back. Gojira himself held his ground but quickly noticed that they were pushing his top half instead of his whole body. He didn't want to back off but he'd fall over and give them an advantage if they didn't. Though he would try and throw them off balance during the process, so he walked back but grabbed a hold of Ghidorah and spun around. He pulled them and then tried to throw them in the process which worked, kinda. They let go and were momentarily off balance before using their wings to get themselves aligned.

The two enemies growled at each other and just as Gojira was about to roar out, the sky started to brighten. He paused for a second and was confused. This wasn't right. He knew exactly who was coming from the clouds but the timing was off, she didn't appear until towards the end of the fight and helped seal Ghidorah in the ice. She was early, which told him he was not in his memory anymore. He looked over to Ghidorah to confirm as they just stood there, completely frozen. Gojira relaxed and looked to the sky to see a form coming from the clouds.

She burst through the clouds, her wings alight with a blue glow that was similar to his own. He forgot how it brought out the colors in her giant wings. The orange, yellow, and blacks in her wings shined with the steady blue glow coming from them. She glided down from the sky and landed on the mountain that was now behind Gojira and also considerably smaller than it was before, allowing her to be eye level with him. She grabbed on the top of the mountain with her sharp forelimbs and used her clawed feet to hold herself up. Her white fur would've made it hard to see her in the tundra were it not for the small patches of brown scattered throughout her body.

He looked her over one more time before looking her in the eyes but stopped as he stared at her wingtips. He stared at them in a bit of shock as they still had the same pattern. The tips still had his eyes, the circles on the tips of the front two wings still had his yellow eyes. He didn't think she would keep them, though he could come up with a couple of reasons why she would. He shook those ideas aside and turned to stare her in her eyes, she was here for a reason, a reason big enough to seek him out. She just stared at him though, her blues eyes looking him over and just staring. He assumed it was because of how long it had been since they had last seen each other. She seemed to break out of her thoughts and looked him in the eye before dipping her body in a bow while speaking.

"My king."

He knew that tone, it was the tone he used when he was addressing other Titans, a formal one that meant this talk was business. He understood this but he would get them to talk about it, even if it was only mentioning what had happened between them.

"Mosura." He acknowledged.

She raised herself to look at him, "Something is coming."

"Oh?" Gojira asked with a brow raised, "A vision?"

"Yes, but it's obscure. I can hardly see anything but all I know for certain is that it involves them." She said while pointing one of her forelimbs behind him.

Gojira turned his head and growled at the frozen Ghidorah, he did not like this. Not one bit, anything involving that hydra meant nothing but trouble. And he hoped with all his being that his worst fear wouldn't come to life. He turned back to Mosura, which prompted her to continue.

"I do not know, all I know is that they are at the center of the vision." She said before going quiet.

"Is that all?" Gojira asked.

"Yes my king, I apologize for not having more information," Mosura said while bowing down.

Gojira was silent for a moment before gently saying, "You haven't handled it well, have you?"

Her head immediately shot up to stare at him and he saw a series of emotions behind her eyes. Everything ranging from sorrow to rage, it was all there and all she had to do was open her mouth and let it out. But all she did was stare. She just stared at him for a couple more moments before looking up to her wings. He looked as well and he didn't know what she was going to do. She stared at them before they started to change and in the blink of an eye, the pattern of his eyes was gone, replaced by black circles. She looks back at Gojira before flapping her wings and lifting herself off of the mountain. She turned around and flew into the clouds, leaving him in his memory just staring at where she had left.

He sighed and looked down, he knew he would still care for her, how could he not when she was with him for so long. But to see her get rid of his eye pattern, that hurt him more than he expected but it was a natural response. He shook his head and cleared his mind before turning and looking back at the frozen dragon that stood a bit away from him. He huffed, he didn't want to finish this. He knew how it ended and honestly, he just didn't want to see Mosura again after the interaction they just had. He turned around and just started walking away as the world around him changed into a pure white space before completely encompassing everything.

Gojira came back from his memory and was still starring out into the ice and snow. Though he did see that it was in heavier supply so he assumed that they were getting closer to the Empire. He sparred a glance back into the car and saw that everyone was still doing what they had been though he did see that Luna had finished her book. He didn't want to just keep staring out the window the rest of the trip so he decided that a conversation was in order.

"How was it?"

Luna looked up at him and then back down to her closed book, she looked up again and smiled, "'Twas good indeed, though a bit on the shorter side."

"Anything particularly interesting?"

"Nay, nothing of note to make it stick out, I merely picked it out for the trip."

Gojira hummed in response and silence fell upon the two. Gojira wanted to keep the conversation going but was confused about what to talk about. It wasn't that Luna was hard to talk with, quite the opposite actually, he had conversations with Luna regularly after they finally settled their differences. The problem was that he had to consider the company he was in. He knew Celestia didn't mind whatever Luna and he talked about but there were still some things that he would prefer not to explain to Twilight just yet. Luckily, he didn't need to come up with a topic as Luna already had one in mind.

"You've killed before."

Gojira looked towards Luna with curiosity, she said it with no malice. He had explained to her how he had killed to survive and to assert dominance, explaining it by saying that's how things were done where he was from. He was interested to see where she would take this.

"Yes, same is said for both you and your sister."

"True, but the way thine speaks of it is different from our experiences," Luna replied.

Gojira raised an eyebrow and asked, "How so?"

"You killed for survival and the hunt, whilst my sister and I have not."

"The hunt?" Gojira asked.

"Indeed, whenever thou speaks of thine home thou speaks of hunts for sustenance."

Gojira nodded in confirmation, "Yes, my home was savage and archaic(he looked towards Celestia to see her nod and continued), it was hunt or be hunted."

"Would we make it?" Luna asked.

"Everyone in the car?" Gojira asked and when Luna nodded in confirmation, Gojira answered immediately after, "No."

He saw Celestia shift slightly through the corner of his eye and knew that she was now actively paying attention. He glanced around and saw that Twilight and the elements were also paying attention to him. Well, he was blunt at times and he guessed this was one of those times.

"None of you would make it. The elements would die within the first day while you and Celestia would only last no more than 3 days."

Luna stared at him for a second but nodded afterward, "Hmm, it would seem then that thine old home is truly a monstrous world."

That got Gojira to chuckle, "Oh, you have no idea."

After that, the train's horn blared and it slowed to a stop. It appeared that they had arrived in the Empire and it was only confirmed when Gojira looked out the window. It was an immense city, all made out of crystal and shinning with crystal ponies walking around. It was stunning and Gojira had to admit that it was something that he would not forget anytime soon. He got up with the others after starring for a while and walked towards the exit. As they got out, Cadence and Shining Armor were there to greet them.

Everyone exchanged pleasantries and the rulers of the Crystal Empire lead everyone to the castle. As they were walking, Gojira looked around to take in the scenery. This place was interesting, that was for sure and as they got near the palace he saw the Crystal Heart. The artifact that kept the natural weather of the area out of the city and kept the Empire safe. But as they were walking, Gojira paused and looked out into the vast tundra past the parameters of the city.

He felt something, something wrong and it was coming from far out into the snow. He couldn't quite place what it was but he made a mental note to check it out before he left. And with that, he started walking to catch up with the others. He could deal with whatever that was later, right now he had to get situated and ready for the guests the Empire would soon be hosting. Gojira frowned at the reason that he was here once he remembered, 'Oh the joy that's going to come' he thought sarcastically as he made his way into the castle.

Ch 4. Journey Through the Mirror

View Online

"Hehe, well done. Well done." Gojira said with a small smile as he stood by the door to the balcony that Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence were on. The elder three Alicorns had just reassured Twilight of her role as a princess and that she would find out exactly what she would be a princess of when the time was right. It was a nice sentiment and they explained it way better than he ever could. Hell, he didn't even know how to explain leadership as he was very different from that of the ones in Equestria. He became a leader due to him being the only one willing to fight the devil and surviving. Others started talking about him and before he knew it, they were calling him King.

He didn't believe it at first, others looked to him and willingly bowed and pledged loyalty to him. It disturbed him at first but he accepted the fact that he was this new 'King'. Though even then, he didn't make laws and hold courts like Celestia or Luna, no, he just held a balance of the world and fought others who challenged him. He kept 'peace' through a combination of respect, fear, and intimidation and it worked for his 'kingdom'. But he could not advise this to Twilight, she lived in an entirely different world from the one he grew up and lived in. He was glad the others sought her out because he knew he would not be any help in this department.

The others had stopped their conversation and headed towards the hall and Gojira simply moved aside. Twilight looked up to him before hugging him, to which Gojira returned. He ruffled her mane a little and she giggled before she started making her way towards her room. Gojira himself moved to be next to Celestia before both made their way to their room. Once they were inside, both individuals got ready for bed. Gojira simply shook himself as if he was wet and then climbed into bed. Celestia followed after getting her regalia off and snuggled into him.

"Nice pep talk," Gojira commented

"It wasn't all that. We just simply told her the truth, same as we all found our paths." Celestia replied.

"Yes, but you forget, she's young. And with that youth, comes the want to have everything already planned out." Gojira said before lifting a claw and draping it over Celestia.

"Very true. " Celestia agreed before adding, "And since when did you start giving out sage advice?"

Gojira grinned, "Since I started courting this old sage that runs a country."

He received a wing slapped in his face with Celestia giggling, "Old sage?! If I'm old then you're ancient mister!"

Gojira chuckled himself before wrapping his tail around Celestia to pull her in closer, "You're not wrong, but I prefer the term, experienced."

Celestia merely rolled her eyes and got comfortable again, draping her left-wing over Gojira. Both simply enjoyed each other's presence and blissfully fell asleep. Though just before slipping into unconsciousness, Gojira had one more comment.

"You should sing more often."

Celestia cracked open an eye to see Gojira smile while he slept. She smiled herself before letting out a small "Sure." and fell asleep. Both of them slept in peace and enjoyed the rest they got. Though the talks with the other nations were not all that long, it was still tiring work. Both needed the rest they would get as another adventure was about to come to them, quite literally.

In a room within the Crystal Empire stands an elegant looking mirror and though it stands alone, ripples appear on the mirror and a figure comes out. Initially standing on hind legs yet immediately going to all four, revealing a hooded unicorn figure. The figure looks around the room before making its way towards the door of the room. She peaked out the door and saw a pair of guards walking away from her position. 'The night shift' the figure summarized and after checking for a few more seconds, they made their way through the hall.

They made their way through the halls and avoided guards wherever they went. While hiding behind a pillar in a hall, the figure lit the horn on their head, indicating the intruder was a unicorn. The light revealed a female unicorn with a light amber coat and cyan eyes. As she lit her horn she whispered, "Element of Magic." and her horn revealed a very faint trail of purple energy. She grinned and followed the trail through the halls of the crystal castle, making her way closer to whatever room held the element.

As she peered around another corridor, she saw the trail lead into a room and not come out. 'Bingo.' She thought and released the spell she was using. She walked over to the door and carefully pushed it open and immediately went inside. As she closed the door she checked the room and saw a basket with a purple dragon with green spines sleeping in it. The basket was next to a bed that had a purple alicorn sleeping peacefully on her side pacing her. The intruder gave an angry frown at the sight of this alicorn and silently growled, "Twilight Sparkle." After staring at Twilight for a bit she turned her attention to the nightstand next to the bed.

On the nightstand was exactly what she was looking for, the Element of Magic. The Element had the appearance of a golden crown studded with sapphires on the rim. In the center, raised slightly, was a magenta-colored gem in the shape of a five-pointed star. The intruder smiled as she used her magic to lift the element off the nightstand and replace it with a replica she took out of her bag. As she placed the replica on the nightstand, it accidentally hit the lamp on it. Her eyes widened and she immediately placed noise cancelation spells on the entire nightstand and looked towards the occupants of the room. They shifted in their beds but otherwise stayed asleep and the unicorn let out a quiet sigh. She made her way to the door and grinned evilly back at the two.

She opened the door and turned to walk out, only to pause and stare at the massive stallion who stood in front of her who she immediately recognized. The stallion glared down at her before grabbing her by her neck and throwing her at the wall across the hall. After that, he threw his head back and roared at the top of his lungs.

"SKKKKREEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNNNNKKKKKKKKK-RRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRNNN!!"

That immediately woke up everyone in the castle and caused Twilight to rush out of her room. She noticed the hooded figure's bag held her element and she looked back to the nightstand and noticed the difference. She teleported over to the intruder and lit her horn with magic, but the intruder lit her's faster and blasted Twilight away from her. With that, the unicorn got up and started running away from the growing crowd coming towards Twilight's room. As she was running she turned around to see Gojira running right behind her. She lit her horn and Gojira jumped on top of her while she tried to teleport. The result of this was Gojira and the mystery mare being teleported out into the cold tundra.

Gojira got up and looked around before quickly slamming his tail into the unicorn. She grunted in pain before blasting Gojira's tail away. She tried to get up but was immediately halted when Gojira pinned her down with his forelimb. He growled at her and made his mane light up. The thief stopped struggling as Gojira used his dominance display and just stared at him. Gojira made his mane stay lit as he was about to talk but stopped when the thief started lighting her horn and cutting it off. She was repeating his display and it caught him off guard, so much so that she bucked his left forearm right where it bends causing Gojira to tip over.

While the thief was getting up, she looked around for her bag as she wasn't wearing it anymore. She looked around and saw the bag was on the ground. Behind Gojira. The thief looked between the two and just let out a frustrated sigh as she planted her hoofs in the snow. She charged up magic in her horn and aimed right at the downed Titan. As Gojira was getting up he heard a slight hum and looked towards the thief. Only to be met with a blast of magic square in the chest.

He was hit and though it didn't injure the Titan, it somehow felt very familiar. Gojira got up and charged but the thief dodged the oncoming attack. She got up close and personal with Gojira and started her assault. She kept close and attacked Gojira in the same places but in different orders. He kept himself from falling over but was having a harder time landing a hit on her. Gojira was getting angry because he recognized these moves and had no idea how this thief could know about them. Gojira moved those thoughts aside as he saw an opening and went for it.

As the thief went to attack him again, Gojira bit down on her hoof as she went to hit him. He bit down and spun her around in the air before slamming her back down. The thief groaned as she tried to get her barring and Gojira used this time to pin her again. He charged up his atomic breath as he growled down at her and said, "Enough of this!"

The thief looked up at the Mad Titan and the two were finally reminded of their environment when the icy wind picked up and rushed past them. The wind picked up and pulled the thief's hood back, revealing her face to the Titan standing above her. And all of a sudden, the world seemed to stop moving around Gojira as he stared at the thief. His atomic breath was immediately cut off and he just stared at the thief. He was stuck looking at the thief, looking at her red and yellow mane and her cyan eyes. He couldn't believe that she was here and staring at him and he could only say one thing.

"Sunset?"

Sunset looked up at him before shifting her attention to her bag, which was now right next to her. She grabbed it with her hoof and lit her horn, teleporting them into the room that held the mirror. She teleported herself out from under Gojira and stood in front of the mirror, still staring at Gojira. She looked him dead in the eye for a few seconds before noticing the door open and watching Twilight rush in, followed by her friends. She stared Twilight down and grinned as she and her friends stepped next to Gojira.

"Sorry, it had to be this way, Princess." She said smugly before jumping straight through the mirror.

Twilight frowned angrily at the sight of the thief getting away but turned her attention to Gojira. He just stared at the mirror with a hurt face before snapping out of it when he felt a hoof on his arm. He looked towards Twilight to see her very concerned face and he immediately put on a serious face. He turned around and walked out of the room while muttering, "Wait Here" to the Elements. Twilight watched as Gojira walked off and turned back to the portal, wondering just who this pony was and why they stole her Element.

To say that Gojira was confused with this whole predicament would be an understatement. And when he gets confused, anger follows very quickly and as such, he slammed an arm into the ground. Which caused a crack in the floor of the room and brought everyone's attention to him. He barred his teeth and growled, which caused a few to let out small gasps and others to not look at him. The only ones who didn't react were Celestia and Luna, who just frowned at the old Titan. Gojira grumbled but didn't say anything, allowing Celestia and Luna to continue with their explanation.

"This is no ordinary mirror, it is a gateway to another world," Luna explained while looking at her reflection. "A gateway that opens once every thirty moons."

"Sparkly," Pinkie exclaimed with a smile as she put her hoof on the mirror, making it ripple and glow. Luna rolled her eyes before using her magic to move Pinkie back.

"It has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot castle. But when Princess Cadence took over the Crystal Empire, we sent it here for her to watch over." Luna explained before looking at her sister.

"I had always hoped Sunset Shimmer would someday use it to return. To come back to Equestria to..." Celestia said before losing her voice.

"To come home to her family," Gojira replied, finally looking at everyone all while growling. "But apparently, she had other plans."

"Why does this bother you so much Gojira?" Spike asked.

That was when Gojira lost some of his anger and he let out a sigh before answering, "Because she was our first."

The others were confused by this, what could he be talking about. Twilight noticed though, that Gojira and Celestia were sticking close to each other. They had done it before, but every time they had, she was going to do something that they would worry about. She noticed her mom and dad did something similar. It was once she compared the scenarios that she finally got it. Her eyes widened and she finally got the picture.

"She's your child, your first," Twilight said slowly.

Celestia and Gojira looked to Twilight and nodded. Now Twilight understood why this was angering Gojira. Cadence took this time to step in.

"Twilight, you must use the mirror to go into this other world and retrieve your crown." Cadence explained, "Without it, the other elements have no power and Equestria is left without one of its most important means of defense."

"Your crown does not belong in the place Sunset Shimmer now calls home," Luna said, before looking towards Celestia and Gojira. Both remained next to each other but with stoic faces instead of the ones of hurt they had before. Celestia used her magic to levitate Twilights bags onto her and simply nodded to her. Twilight nodded in return and took a deep breath in, before stepping towards the mirror. Only to be stopped by Rainbow Dash landing in front of her.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. She's going, we're going with her." Rainbow exclaimed as the other elements joined her.

Twilight smiled at that before Celestia interrupted, "I'm afraid I can't let you go."

"What? Why not?" Rainbow asked while stomping her hoof.

"Sending all of you could upset the balance of this alternate world. Creating havoc that would make it impossible for Twilight to get the crown back from Sunset Shimmer." Celestia explained before adding, "This is something that Princess Twilight must do alone."

"Time is of the essence, on the third day when the moon reaches its peak in the night sky. The gateway will close." Luna explained with a visual she created. "And once it does, it will be another thirty moons before you will be able to use the portal to return."

The girls all gave words of encouragement as Twilight walked up to the mirror. Gojira stood by but looked towards Spike and saw how nervous he was. He could tell what Spike was going to do but it gave him an idea. Before Twilight was about to walk through the mirror, Gojira stopped her.

"Hold up hatchling," Gojira called.

Twilight stopped and looked back, confused as to why Gojira stopped her. Gojira leaned towards Celestia and whispered in her ear. Once he was done, Celestia looked towards him and then Spike before smiling a little and nodding. She lit her horn and in a flash, two necklaces appeared. Celestia then moved one towards Twilight and one towards Spike.

"These necklaces are linked to each other. So long as one of you wears one, the gem will stay lit, letting the other know that you are okay." Celestia explained as Twilight put on the necklace and Spike just stared at his. They looked towards Celestia and smile while thanking her. Spike holds on to the necklace as Twilight touches the mirror and then pushes herself through it. Gojira uses this moment to wind up his tail and smack Spike with enough force to launch him straight through the mirror. Spike dropped the necklace as he was sent through and everyone looked towards Gojira.

"Oh no. Spike went through either way. Guess I'll have to go and get him and since I'll be there I guess I could help Twilight." Gojira says in a fake surprised voice.

He quickly moves forward, grabs the necklace, and jumps through the mirror. Though as he touched the mirror, the ripples and magic from it flashed the moment Gojira touched and went through. Everyone present was shocked at what Gojira did and just as everyone started to get into action, Celestia raised her wings to stop everyone.

"Auntie, shouldn't we go and get Uncle?" Cadence asked.

"No, I don't want to create any more of an instability in this other world than there already is." Celestia said with a sigh, "We just have to wait until they return. Twilight and Spike can handle themselves and they're even safer now that Gojira has gone with them."

"Indeed, Gojira is a warrior at heart. Young Sparkle and Spike are well protected." Luna said before turning away and walking out of the room, "Now come, they have left and there is nothing to do about it now. Best we get back to our regular schedule."

Everyone looked at each other before agreeing and slowly walking out of the room. The element barriers looked back before leaving the room to return to their rooms. Cadence walked ahead of Celestia but stopped when she stopped hearing the sound of her aunt's hooves. She turned back and saw Celestia just staring at the mirror. She walked back and gave her aunt a hug with her wing and an affectionate nuzzle. She smiled up at her aunt and she smiled right back. Celestia spared one more look at the mirror before walking out of the room with Cadence. All the while hoping and wishing her family's safe return, her whole family.

Gojira groaned as his senses had slowly returned to him and the first thing he noticed was a familiar weight on his back. He opened his eyes, only to see a light coming from up ahead of him. He felt the rock underneath him and guessed he was in a cave, but focused on the weight on his back. He knew this feeling but he hadn't felt it for at least a month, so he moved his hand to see it and sure enough, he was right. He was staring at his claw and he was back in his original form. Now he had multiple questions, the first being where his hatchling was. He tried to feel for her presence but couldn't feel it, but he felt a different kind of presence and multiple of them.

Titans. He was sensing Titans. All over the globe and they were awake. He couldn't believe it, he had a hard time accepting it. But he reminded himself that this was an alternate world though, so things were different. And the fact that he was in his original form meant that this world was closer to his original one than Equestria from what he could sense. Though this also leads to a problem, he was not where Twilight was. He was in another world entirely from the one Twilight and Spike had traveled to. He needed to go back or at least be sure he could.

So he got up from the ground and turned around to look at the cave. Though there was light coming in from the mouth of the cave, it was still dark. So he lit up his spines to add some light and see where the portal was. His added light helped and after a bit of looking, he saw a drawing of a mirror on the wall of the cave. He moved his tail to touch it and sure enough, the image was rippling as the tip of his tail touched the image. He nodded to himself and then looked around for the necklace that Spike had dropped. He found it but it was bigger, enough to fit around one of his claws, and after securing it he was about to go through the portal before he heard something.

It was soft. Sounding like barely a whisper. But it was there and Gojira could hear it and it sounded like a song. He turned towards the mouth of the cave and walked towards the source of the song. He walked out into the light and saw an immense forest that stretched out for miles. Though as he looked around, he saw a ginormous tree, so big it made even him feel small. He heard the song coming from the tree and made his way over. He walked for a while, all the while listening as the song got louder and clearer the closer he got. After a while of walking, Gojira made it to the tree and stared at it. It was very thick and the bark was dark brown and the leaves on the tree looked liked they glowed and sparkled in all manner of colors.

He tore his attention from the tree when he heard movement coming from the left of the tree. He walked over and stepped over some of the routes from the tree. After making his way over, he found the source of the song and was stunned. It was a Titan, with big wings that were black, orange, yellow, and blue. It looked like an insect, with three pairs of legs and a big abdomen with a small stinger on the end. Its main body was primarily white with black on the underbelly and thick antenna on its head. Gojira was shocked, this Titan looked like Mosura but with some differences. The main one being how much bigger and thicker this one was in compared to the one he knew. Gojira was so shocked that he muttered her name.

"Mosura?"

Apparently, it was loud enough for her to hear as she immediately stopped singing and turned to face him. Her wings spread and she let out a loud screech at him. This was an attack stance and the last thing Gojira needed right now was a battle. Just as he was about to talk though, he felt another presence. One coming from directly behind him and his senses were going off. He quickly ducked and swung his tail, which he felt hit something. He turned around to see the being behind him and was left speechless. He saw another of his kind, another lizard Titan but something was off. This one looked different, the spines were leaf-shaped and had a white trim on the edges. Its maw was a bit rounded and it had two long fangs that stuck out farther than the rest. It was shorter than him but it had bulk in all the important parts and Gojira could see multiple scars all over this newcomer.

He took in its scent and found it to be a female, but now that he was paying attention to the scents around him he could smell both her and this new Mosura all over the area. Shit. This was their territory and seeing as how he came unannounced he was trespassing. He checked behind him real quick and now saw Mosura in the air floating behind him, ready for battle. Looks like he was going to have a brawl, whether he wanted to or not.

Ch 5. Meeting of the Alpha's

You know, all things considered, right now this was not the worst possible situation he could be in. Sure he was grappling with another of his kind and using his tail to keep the moth Kaiju that was helping the other lizard Kaiju on the ground. But at least he hasn't killed anyone, purposefully or accidentally. Plus, his hatchling was safe. He was assuming. He hoped. But all that had to wait, as right now he was trying to not be killed.

Gojira grunted as he used more of his strength to shove back the attacking lizard. He then raised his tail and spun around, slamming it into the lizard and sending her to the ground. As Gojira turned to look down at her, the moth used this attack to fly up and latch onto the back of his head. Immediately, Gojira reached up and ripped her off, or at least tried to. Turns out, seeing as this moth was built differently than Mosura, her legs were thick and had little talon-like hands. And these little hands could hold on, tightly. Gojira had to use more strength than he thought to pull her off. He was able to do it and throw her off, only to be tackled to the ground by the female and pinned.

Gojira struggled as he felt the weight of the female press down on him and he roared out in pain when she bit into his neck. He thrashed more violently in an attempt to get this female off him and used what his sire called the death role to try and loosen her grip on his neck. She wasn't expecting that as she let out a surprised gasp before being pulled into the roll and being slammed by his weight. The female grunted as Gojira got up and slammed his foot onto her chest as he lit up his dorsal spines and charged his breath. Just as it reached the back of his throat, the moth came flying in and slammed into his face. He held the breath in but stepped back from the slam, freeing the female from his grip.

Once his foot was lifted off the female, she rolled over and got up before rushing him again and slamming him into the tree. The moth moved to have her legs keep his mouth shut while the lizard kept him against the tree. Seeing as Gojira couldn't release his breath out, he thought of another way to unleash his attack. Though this would hurt quite a bit, and he hoped he could finally do it on command now. He let the energy charge up just a bit more, making certain parts of himself glow from the power in the process, and then unleashed everything he had into a shockwave.

The blast did its job, successfully pushing back both the Lizard and the Moth sending them both into the ground. Gojira huffed as he regained his bearing from letting out the attack and stared down his attackers. He moved swiftly, pinning the Lizard with his foot and Moth with his tail. They struggled under his weight and he roared down at them in an attempt to get them to stop. They struggled a bit more before the Moth stopped struggling and submitted to him, the Lizard looked at her in shock before turning back towards Gojira and stopped as well, albeit reluctantly.

"So, we done with this now and ready to talk?" Gojira huffed as he asked.

"Yes." The moth responded.

Gojira looked down at the two of them for a second before getting off of them and allowing them up. The Lizard got up first and helped the Moth and they both looked towards Gojira. He kept his stance, showing that he would put them back into the ground if they tried to attack him again. The Moth was the first to move, she flew to the left and motioned her head at the two, beckoning them to follow. Gojira looked towards the lizard and motioned her forward, she scoffed in response but followed the Moth regardless. Gojira walked after her, keeping just enough distance so that the Lizard could not get off a quick attack. They followed the Moth till she leads them to where a rock was next to the tree and landed on it, looking towards Gojira. The Lizard walks next to the Moth and now both of their gazes are on him and he takes this time to speak.

"I am Gojira, King of the Kaiju and Alpha of Equestria. I mean no trouble and merely was trying to follow my Young on a journey." Gojira stated.

The Moth and Lizard looked towards each other before turning back to him, with the Moth being the first to speak.

"I am Eterna and this is my mate is Shodai. We are the Queens of Infant Island and we apologize for directly attacking you without proper cause."

"Don't be. I appeared in your territory without any signal or permission so I understand why you reacted the way you did." Gojira replied.

"You said something about your young? You don't strike me as the father type." Shodai claimed as she eyed him.

Gojira snorted at that, "I understand that but time can change a kaiju. That and the support of a mate."

Eterna seemed to glow at that, "So you do have a mate? What is she like?"

"She is my eternal sun. The one who evaporates my worries and concerns and who gives all she meets her warmth. Though to her enemies, she turns into an unstoppable force of destruction. Honestly, I'm surprised she ever gave me a chance." Gojira said as he looked up at the sun.

Eterna awwed at the description Gojira gave of his mate, while Shodai merely lifted one of her eyebrows at the response. Gojira caught her look and merely shrugged and gave a huff. He knew that look, it was the same look he would give Mosura whenever she would go off telling him about some relationship she saw between any two kaiju. He was like that once and though he had changed in the past half-century he still got like that from time to time. So he would just get along with her for however long he was going to be here.

"Yeah, real nice but can we get back to what this is supposed to be about?" Shodai asked aggressively.

Eterna turned towards her mate with a sheepish look and blushed while Gojira simply nodded. Shodai looked back at Gojira and just asked, "So, when do you plan on leaving?"

"I'll leave now if that is what you want. I understand that I am not in my territory and as such I will comply with your demands so long as you treat me with the respect you would give any other Alpha." Gojira said evenly.

Shodai merely squinted her eyes at him and just let her tail slam on the ground while puffing her chest out and standing to her full height. Gojira matched her actions but started flashing his plates as well, if she wanted to go another round he would oblige her. Though before any further action could be taken, Eterna flew in between them and started to glow a rainbow of colors in an effort to calm them down.

"Ok. Ok, there is no need to get physical again. We can all just calm down, please." Eterna asked while eyeing each of the lizard Kaiju.

Both relaxed their stances and listened to the moth's words. Another battle was not needed, though just because Gojira was more willing to use diplomacy than he was before, he was always ready to fight if the situation called for it. Gojira thought it just better to show them where he had come from and held his head high before taking a couple of sniffs in the air. He found his scent and started following it, becoming the other two with a head movement. Eterna and Shodai looked at each other before following Gojira.

They walked for a while in silence, just enjoying the sounds of the forest as they made their way to the cave. As they walked Gojira looked towards his claw to see the necklace still glowing. That made him happy and he let out a sigh in relief, Twilight was at the very least still alive and wearing her necklace. Gojira closed his claw and continued forward and after a little longer he saw the cave. He smiled and made his way inside and after lighting up his plates and looking around he saw the drawing of the mirror he tested. He turned around and saw Eterna and Shodai looking around before looking at him. He lifted his tail and pressed the end of it to the drawing and it glowed and rippled as he pushed it through.

Eterna and Shodai were fascinated by this portal with Eterna walking closer to put one of her legs through it. Shodai stayed backed and looked towards Gojira who just looked at Eterna with amusement. Eterna noticed his stare and looked back at him sheepishly before backing up and allowing Gojira to move closer. He nodded towards the two of them and was about to head through the portal when he felt something. It was small at first but noticeable, it was a feeling of something off, of something wrong. He lifted back towards his full height and started walking back towards the entrance of the cave. He looked around, trying to find which direction the feeling was strongest in. He knew that something was coming and whatever it was, it was powerful. As he looked around he saw a star sailing through the sky, heading north and he saw that the moon was moving, making night come early. He growled at this, this was similar to when that devil landed on earth but this time it wasn't an eternal storm that was brought, it was eternal night.

"SSSSSSSSKKKKKKKRRREEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNKKKKKK!!!"

Gojira looked behind him to see Shodai roaring into the sky, she looked pissed and immediately made her way past him and towards the direction of the meteor. Eterna was quick to follow and then pass Shodai, most likely to scout out the enemy. Gojira stood still for a moment, not sure what to do, he could either help in what he knew would be his first real battle in what would be half a century. Or, he could return to his original mission and look for his wayward daughter and bring her home. He turned around and headed back towards the portal, this was not his realm, this was not his domain. He had no reason to interfere with a battle that he was certain the Alpha of the land could handle. Shodai was a Titan, a Titan of his own species, and he could easily tell that she had power. He made his way to the portal and just as he was about to enter it, he heard a screech that he hadn't heard in ages.

"BIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDI!"

That had stopped him in his tracks, he knew that roar, even if it was a bit different from the one that he heard during all those battles he knew what kind of creature it belonged to. He sneered with anger and felt rage build up within him, he hated that golden devil, and to know that another one landed here at around the same time he entered this universe, he did not like it. Next was a roar of both Eterna and Shodai and he could feel the earth tremble as the fight began. As much as he hated the thought of that Devil being alive, in any world, he would leave it up to this world's Alpha to deal with it. With that, he entered the portal and continued with his mission.

Shodai slammed herself into her opponent, sending them tumbling back due to her weight. She moved to stomp on their chest and her dorsal plates glowed with energy and she opened her mouth to fire but was immediately pulled back by the enemy's tails wrapping around her arms and pulling back. She fired her star-fire into the sky as she fell on her back and saw the enemy get up to stare at her. She had never faced anything like this, but she remembered seeing an image of something similar in one of the tunnels down below. That one lay slain, by the one-eyed King of the island with the storm around it. She knew this because she had met him, one of the oldest living Kaiju on the planet and for the longest time thought by most to be the Alpha of the planet. He was old and he did not want the title, he was content to just live on his island and watch over it until his son took over as King. And the one-eyed King had returned to the Ape Kaijus ancient home to watch over it.

He was strong but she would wager that she was just as strong if not stronger and it pissed her off that she was not making any headway with this invader. The way they sneered down at her made her angry, but she also saw past them to see her Queen dive down. Shodai closed her eyes as Eterna slammed into the middle head of the invader and let loose her rainbow rays. They erupted into light, blinding the invader and forcing them to kneel and Shodai took advantage of this. She charged up her star-fire and fired directly ahead of her blasting the invader in the middle head and then the chest when it moved. The invader was knocked off-balance and pushed back before tumbling over and roaring in a mixture of pain and anger. Shodai charged up again and Eterna gathered her mystical energy in her antenna and both unleashed a combined attack at the Invader. It hit and sent them skidding backward and leaving a trail through the ground.

Shodai and Eterna glared at the smoke that had covered their enemy after their attack. The invader got up and its figure was seen through the smoke. It flapped its wings to clear it and the two Alphas saw the damage they inflicted. The invader's large and muscled light grey chest was blackened by their combined attack. Their large, clawed, wings had scratches and tears on them and the long twin spiked tails had broken spikes. Its heads were also full of burn marks and the middle, in particular, had the crescent on its head broken but its curved horns remained intact. The left and right ones had their smaller set intact, but each one had their left and right horns tips missing. They snarled at the two earthen Titans and closed their eyes while tensing their body and rising to their full height. Shodai and Eterna saw this space hydra heal itself, to when it looked like when it had arrived just a while ago. All three Titans tensed as they stared each other down, only to be broken by the right head of the invader talking to its siblings.

"I wish to burn these creatures sisters, I hate the fact that they were able to hurt us." The right head spoke, which could now be identified as male.

"Patience little Sol, we will end their pitiful lives. Won't we sister Estrella?" The left head spoke to both the now Identified right head Sol and middle head Estrella.

"Of course sister Luna. You and brother Sol shall have that insect, I want the lizard." Estrella said with pure malice.

The space hydra suddenly jumped forward, propelling themselves with their massive wings, and tackled the lizard and moth duo. Luna lunged forward and bit down into one of Eterna's wings and lifted her before slamming her into the ground. Sol lunged and bit into Shodai's shoulder while Estrella slammed her head into the nuclear leviathan. That, added with the invader's massive body sent Shodai backward and into the ground. Shodai laid on the ground, dazed, but cleared her head as the invader slammed one of their clawed feet onto her chest. They then used one of their tails to wrap around and lift Eterna into the air as she was groggy after being slammed into the ground head first. The three heads chuckled before it turned into full-blown laughter as they stared at their downed enemies.

"Look at these pitiful creatures, thinking that they could actually match us." Sol taunted.

"Yes, I can't wait to brutally murder them. Especially the bug, I bet she bleeds the most wonderful of colors if those wings are anything to go by." Luna said with psychotic joy.

"Yes, all on this world will either submit to us or perish. For we are the eternal void." Estrella said.

"We are the eternal night!" Luna shouted.

"We are the eternal star!" Sol continued.

"WE ARE GALAXHIDORAH!!!" the three shouted in unison as they roared into the sky.

All three heads reared back as they charged up their respective breath attacks. Shodai struggled to get up but was pushed to the ground by Galaxhidorah and dug their claws into her chest. Shodai growled in pain and turned to see Eterna try and get free before being squeezed by Galaxhidorah's tail. The space hydra smiled as they were about to unleash their breath attack before a beam of blue star-fire slammed into the invader. The star-fire was strong enough to knock back the invader and make them fall over and roar in a mix of surprise and pain. The ground shook. Then again. Then again. Then again. Then the fifth shake happened and it was accompanied by a familiar sound.

"SKKKKREEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNNNNKKKKKKKKK-RRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRNNN!!"

Gojira had returned to lend a hand, he would have left this alone, but he thought he had some time to spare, seeing how the necklace wrapped around his clawed finger was still glowing. He growled ahead of him, where the now named 'Galaxhidorah' laid in the ground beginning to get themselves up. This however seemed to be a perfect opportunity as Shodai shot up from the ground and charged right at the space hydra. Eterna gathered herself and gently flew up to be eye level with Gojira.

"Thank you for coming to help."

"It's no problem, I know personally how annoying those things are." Gojira said as he looked over to Shodai wailing on the space hydra.

"Yes but we will have help soon enough, you however need to get going." Eterna said while pointing to his claw.

Gojira looked down to see that the crystal was now dull and for a second he felt his heart freeze. Just a second ago it was bright and lit, but now it was dull. He paused and thought to himself that this didn't mean that Twilight was dead, just that she was no longer wearing the necklace. He looked up to the rainbow-colored moth and nodded before barreling back the way he came, intent on getting to his hatchling.

Eterna watched as Gojira sprinted back to the cave he appeared from and sighed before turning back to stare at the battle ahead of her. Galaxhidorah was locked in a standstill with Shodai and both charged up their respective breath attacks. Eterna loosened her joints and flared her wings, waiting for her moment, and looked over to the right to see the 'help' that she had sensed coming to their location. She hadn't seen him in a long time but aside from the longer 'beard' he know possed he looked the exact same. A large ape-like kaiju, with black fur covering his body and two sets of clawed scars running over his chest. He looked over to the fight going on, snarling, revealing one of his for sharp canines being broken and the moonlight gave just enough light to see the massive scar over his right eye and see that it was now blind. He huffed and shifted his stance, raising the arm that held an ancient axe that pulsed bright blue from the spine acting as its blade.

"Eterna." The ape kaiju greeted.

"Kong" Eterna replied, "We thank you for your assistance."

"No need, I killed the last one who fell to the earth and I shall kill this one as well." Kong said as he waited for the moment to make his move.

Shodai was grabbed by Galaxhidorah and flown up before being thrown back and away from the space hydra. As she was tossed, Kong and Eterna used this opportunity and rushed in. Eterna glowed and charged her antenna while Kong roared and raised his axe, all while lighting up his fist with lightning. Galaxhidorah roared at the two and charged at them as Shodai got up and joined the charge from behind the space hydra. All four monsters roared as they clashed together and the whole world shook as the battle of the millennia began.

Gojira had run through the portal and let the magic do its work, shrinking him and reshaping him back to his kirin form as he was spat out back into the mirror room within the Crystal Empire. He shook himself in order to get his bearings and looked around the room to see that it was still empty. He huffed in gratitude and turned himself around to stare at the mirror again. He glared at it for a bit while quietly mumbling, "Alright, no other kaiju dimension, just take me to my hatchlings." He ran through and felt the mirror work its magic, twisting and reshaping his body to this new dimension. Lucky for him it was the right one as he was spat out on concrete and after shaking his head clear and looking around, he was left jaw-dropped.

In front of him was a group of human females and they all bore striking resemblances to the elements, he assumed this dimension's versions and saw Twilight in the middle of them. A few meters in front of them he saw what looked like brainwashed humans, all wearing nice clothing. And floating in the air, he saw some sort of demon wearing the element of magic. He glared at the demon before noticing its appearance, it wore what looked to be a dress, meaning it was female and the hair color of it was identical to Sunset. He wanted to deny what was in front of him but couldn't when he heard her speak.

"The gang really is all back together again, ahahaha" Sunset said as she wiped a faux tear from her eye. She then gathered magic from her hands and started creating a sphere of magic as her eyes glowed. "Now step aside, Twilight has tried to interfere with my plans one too many times already. She needs to be dealt with."

Now that made Gojira angry, he had raised this girl from her early childhood. Sure he wasn't perfect and sure there were probably a few things that he probably shouldn't have told or taught her considering what age she was when he told her. But there was one thing, above all else, that he had engrained into her skull. Never kill for pleasure, only when necessary. To have heard her threaten Twilights life when at this point he could tell she could easily knock her out instead sent anger straight into Gojira. He stood straight up and inhaled before yelling at the top of his lungs the one thing that would get her attention.

"SUNSET DAGON SOL SHIMMER!! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!"

Sunset immediately paused her action and looked over to see an older man with a dark grey shirt and a black leather jacket on top. He wore dark blue pants and black boots and had black hair with a couple of small scars across his face. The thing that struck her though was the yellow eyes that stared directly at her and were filled with rage and disappointment. She recognized those eyes immediately and knew exactly who had called her out using her full legal name and she could only mutter one word, "Shit".
