First Monsters, Now Ponies? Dammit Frisk

by Ablegabriel

First published

Frisk befriended an entire race of monsters and brough them to the surface, but like over half the population of humans responded to this horribly. Thankyfully there is a magic portal in a horse statue near a random highschool

After Frisk had saved the monsters of the underground, they had gone back for Asriel, but had ended up saving Chara instead. Once the monsters reach the surface, will they find any humans that are going to be nice to them and help them out, or are they all going to hate them? If things end up really bad, that nice lady with the fire like hair can help us! She said so, after all!

Since I have people telling me that my description is shit, I'm going to focus on this instead of the story for a little bit. :) The two guys in the comments have made me paranoid now. (I think they were just trying to help, go easy on them, Lurker!)

An idea that came to me out of nowhere and wont leave me alone. I absolutely LOVE Undertale, probably more than a sane person should. I NEEDED to write something like this eventually. I plan to go absolutely all out with this story. I'm talking trying to capture the characters perfectly, a good story, plot first. Sex will be a byproduct if included at all. This is still going to be an m rated story as an m rating gives me the most freedom to write.

I still plan on writing all of my previous stories, but I will be giving this one the most attention for quite awhile. I plan on making this story a rather long one. I hope you all stick with me on with this story.

Contains: First person switching between characters. It will mostly be from Frisk or Chara's point of view. Sometimes it will be from Sans's or Flowey's.

Also Contains: A long wait before Ponies. (Sorry.)

Since I seem to be having trouble and people claiming I am breaking a site rule, allow me to elaborate and spoil part of the story for everyone else who wants to read it. Sunset Shimmer is the person who helped frisk. We're going to go to EQG territory before we see actual PONIES. There, is that better jerks?

Humans Are The Worst, But Not All Of Them Are Horrible

Frisk Pov:

I had finally managed to beat Asriel and SAVE everyone's souls from him. The barrier was broken, the monsters were all free now, but I couldn't just leave Asriel. Goatbro himself didn't do anything, and even the things he had done as Flowey aren't really his fault. I made the trek back to the ruins all the way from New Home. Everybody knows who I am and what I am now as I walked by them and talked with them. Nobody seemed to mind that I was a human. Sans had looked at me strangely when I said I wanted to go look for someone. Everybody did, but his felt strange for a different reason. I can't explain why, but I hope he doesn't mind me doing this for some reason. Mom -Toriel- Said she would give me three hours before she would start to worry and come looking for me. Undyne wanted to give me a spear to 'Beat all the bad guys back away from me' but I told her that I don't want to hurt anyone and besides, nobody would try to fight me anymore, right? Papyrus insisted that he should call to check up on me every fifteen minutes, an idea Mom agreed with heavily. I told everybody that I would take care of myself and be very careful and that I would hopefully be back within a few hours.

"Be good, My Child." Mom said before hugging me. I had returned the hug and assured everybody that I would be very careful and safe once again before running off.

Heh, it's funny, isn't it? These complete strangers that are of a different species than my own treat me better and care about me more than my own parents ever did. Hell, most of the monsters here are better than most humans I've ever met in my life. There is only one exception to that and that is this kind high school student that gave me her lunch when ever she could. I remember thinking her hair looking cool...and delicious. I thought it was bacon when I saw it first and I tried to eat it only to find out it was hair connected to a teen-aged girl looking at me strangely. I apologized to her before I ran off. *Sigh* she had wanted to help me out so much, but I didn't want to be a burden to her. This was an entire year ago and I was certain she didn't remember me by now. I hadn't even told her my name and I never got hers. I had ran away from home....no, that, that place is not a home to me and I won't give it such a title. I ran away from THAT infernal place two years ago and was surviving on the streets at the age of ten. I was twelve years old when I jumped into The Underground.

"Frisk, is something wrong? You look sad and reminiscent about something." My companion said as they floated next to me.

"Sorry, Chara. I didn't meant to worry you, I was just thinking about my past, before I...fell into The Underground." I told them. I had met Chara when I first fell in to The Underground. When I woke up, I had heard their voice and was immediately terrified that I was being haunted or something. They had quickly assured me that I wasn't insane or being haunted and they introduced themselves. I smiled thinking back to when I met them, They were the only one that vividly remembered everything that had happened to me and was there to comfort me when I died the first time. It was so weird and scary and traumatizing; dying and coming back to life. I had no idea how to handle that and was to scared to proceed through The Underground for awhile and stayed with the Skelebros.

"I understand. I had a crappy life up on the surface, as well." Chara told me. I nodded and pulled my arms closer to me as I entered Snowdin. I really wish I had gotten a coat before I left, but I was determined to find Asriel and get him his life back. I watched as Chara flew through a couple of Monsters; being Incorporeal, they could do that kind of thing. I watched her snigger as their actions gave the Monsters the chills. I sniggered with them, finding it a little funny that someone who was made of fire could shiver. We made it to the edge of Snowdin and the beginning of the forest. I stood there and reminisced about when I first came down into The Underground and when I first came out of the Ruins. It seemed like so long ago even though this all happened so recently. I've only been down here for a month. Best month of my twelve year old life, but still just a month. I began walking through the forest, looking around and saw that there wasn't anybody around as I trekked my way through. I had reached the door to the Ruins after a little more walking through the snow. I was very glad that the doors were open when I got back here, I didn't think I would be able to open these doors without some serious help.

"Oh, that's so much better." I mumbled as I entered the Ruins and their significantly warmer temperatures. Chara chuckled at me.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me! You can't feel the cold right now so you can't judge me!" I playfully defended, happy no one was around as it would look really weird shouting at someone they couldn't see or hear. I walked through the corridor that lead to the stairs to Mom's house. I went upstairs and snagged the rest of the Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie.

"You took the rest of the Pie. You feel horrible for keeping this beautiful creation to yourself." Chara narrated. Oh yeah! Did I forget to mention that Chara decided to narrate my entire journey through The Underground? They really made my journey here quite the fun experience, not that it wouldn't be without her funny narration.

"Come on, Chara. I'm going to share this with everyone, even if I want to keep it to myself." I said as I stared at the delicious pie in my hands.

"I know, I'm just teasing ya!" They giggled. We exited Mom's house and walked through the Ruins. I waved at the Froggits and Whimsums all of the Monsters that came by me to say hi. I reached the spiders from the spider bake sale and told them the good news about Muffet and everything else. Yes, I had spent a LONG time getting 9999 gold to buy a single doughnut from her, but I didn't want her to think I was mean and thought that her food wasn't worth her time, even if they were just a tad bit overpriced. After that whole ordeal, Muffet was very nice and pleasant to hang out with. I told the spiders to tell Muffet thanks for doughnuts she had baked for me and I heard a tiny chorus of

"We will, dearie!" from all of them. I chuckled and waved goodbye before making my way through the Ruins once again. I had reached the place where I had gotten Monster Candy and I decided to take the entire bowl with me.

"You took the rest of the Monster Candy. You feel like the worst thing in existence." Chara teased.

"Oh shut up you!" I giggled. I had stored the bow of candy and the rest of Mom's pie in one of the dimensional boxes I had on my new phone. I had finally made my way all the way back to the place where it all began, the room where I met Chara, where my journey began. I saw Asriel standing there in silence as he stared up at the hole in the ground above.

"Asriel?" I spoke from behind him. He jumped slightly from being startled. He wiped his face before turning to me and gave me a half smile. Chara decided to sit to the side and watch as things played out, not being able to do anything as only I could see them.

"Hey, Frisk." He said solemnly.

"I know why you're here, Frisk. While I am thankful and happy that you care, there is just no way I can go back to them." Asriel said.

"But Asriel, They're your family, they love you." I tried to tell him.

"Well maybe they shouldn't, maybe they should hate me." He said sadly. "I mean, I did all those horrible things, didn't I? I really am a Monster." He said dejectedly

"Asriel-"

"IT'S TRUE FRISK!" He snapped. He looked at me with tears trailing down his face.

"I KILLED EVERYONE OVER AND OVER FOR MY OWN AMUSEMENT AS FLOWEY!! I EVEN KILLED MY OWN MOTHER!!!" He cried.

"I-I was, AM such a horrible person. I did so many bad things. I don't deserve forgiveness for any of it! You are the kindest, most generous person I have ever met Frisk and I have done nothing but hurt you over and over." He said as he cried.

"I did nothing but cause pain and suffering to you and everyone else that I care about as that damn flower." He said as he held up his arm to his eyes as he cried.I walked over to him and pulled him into the most comforting hug I could muster.

"Asriel, don't you dare say those things about yourself. You are a wonderful person and don't you say otherwise." I said firmly. He returned my hug and cried into my shoulder.

"Frisk, Thank you so much. I don't deserve you in my life." He said before he pulled away from the hug. He looked at the hole in the ceiling before looking back down at the flowers before sighing to himself. He then took out a heart locket from his back pocket and stared at it sadly for a few minutes before his look changed to one of determination. I got a better look at it and saw that the heart locket had Chara's name inscribed on it. The one I had found in New Home and had taken with me had Asriel's name inscribed on it. He then turned towards me.

"I-I'll go back with you, but only after I return something." He said. He held up Chara's Heart Locket.

"I know Chara is with you. I want you to give this to them, it contains my dust and the remnants of her soul." He said seriously.

"W-What?" I stammered. He gave me a look that said 'I don't have time to explain better' so I just went along with it.

"Take it and Chara over to the middle of this flower bed. It's...It's where they were buried. If you infuse this with your determination and I help with the rest of my magic, we'll be able to bring Chara back. But I will revert to a flower again, not that I wouldn't anyway. No buts Frisk. This is the only way I'm willing to go back with you, if you bring back Chara instead of me." He said firmly. I looked at Chara who had their hands in front of their mouth and their eyes were widened in shock. They then looked at me and nodded.

"If it's the only way he'll come back with us willingly, then so be it. We'll find another way to turn him back into Asriel from Flowey another day." They said after much thought. I nodded to them before looking back at Asriel.

"Alright, Asriel. They're up for it." I said. He grinned at me.

"Let's bring back my sibling now, Frisk." He said happily. I took the locket from Asriel and Chara floated over to us before laying on the ground directly above where they were buried.

"Heh, I'm going to miss floating around and narrating your adventure for you, Frisk." They joked, trying to lighten up the mood. I smiled and nodded at them before opening the locket and carefully placing it down right next to them. Asriel smiled at me.

"Thank you so much for letting me do this, Frisk. You too, Chara." He said before gathering all the magic he had left and placing it over the locket. He addressed Chara even though he couldn't see them. I followed suit and focused my determination over Chara and their locket, before a blinding white light shined after a few moments. Then I suddenly felt very tired and I lost consciousness.

Chara's Pov:

My eyes fluttered open and I brought my hands to my face. I rubbed my eyes to get the bleariness to go away before I realized that I could touch myself. I had skin. I could feel. I HAVE A BODY!!!!!!

"Oh My God Oh My God Oh My God Oh My God!" I said to myself as I sat up. I then went rigid as I realized I was forgetting something.

"Frisk." I said to myself. I shot up from the ground and shakily stood up. I searched for Frisk before I found them lying face down on the ground a few feet away from me. I shakily ran over to them and kneeled down next to them. I tried to the shake them awake.

"Frisk?! Frisk?! Frisk?! Please wake up, Frisk! Please be ok!" I said to them as I desperately tried to wake them up. I was very relieved when I heard Frisk groan and felt them shift. They fluttered their eyes open and looked at me.

'Chara? Are you okay?' They signed. This flew up warning signs for me. Frisk only ever uses signs when they are hurt or feeling uncomfortable. I nodded in response to their question before moving them over to a better position.

"Are YOU okay? You're signing, Frisk." I asked them. They nodded before coughing.

"They're not okay." I heard a voice from behind me. I turned around a felt my heart lurch in my chest. (Still not completely over the fact that I have a body again.) There in the middle of the flowers...was Asriel....as Flowey.

"Look, I like Frisk too, You know. If you want them to live you have to listen to me." He said. I snapped out of my stupor and shook my head.

"What do you mean?" I asked suspiciously. He sighed dejectedly before looking at me firmly.

"Frisk used a LOT of Determination and Soul Power to bring you back. More than the magic and Soul Power I used. They're going to die if we don't do something." Flowey said seriously. As if to emphasize his point, Frisk started to cough again. Although this time, they coughed up some blood.

"Alright Alright Alright! What do I need to do, A-... Flowey?!" I said frantically. I definitely, no matter what, CAN NOT let Frisk die.

"We need to replace the Determination and Soul Power they had used. At least enough to make their Soul stable. After that, they'll be able to regenerate the rest." Flowey explained to me.

"Alright...A-...Flowey, Are you still going to..." I trailed off.

"Don't worry. I'm still going to keep my promise. Will focus on that later, right now we need to save Frisk." He said before burrowing over to Frisk. We then transferred enough Magic from Flowey, Soul Energy from me, and Determination from the both of us. Frisk coughed a little, but their cough seemed to calm down a bit. Their breathing stabilized and the color returned to their body. They then gasped loudly and opened their eyes. Thank GOD that this worked. I couldn't live with the guilt that I was the one at fault for getting Frisk killed. I know that I've only known them for a month, but I've felt like I've known them for my whole life.

"C-Chara? Is that you? You look very pretty with an actual body." They said as they reached a hand to my cheek. I chuckled at them.

"Only you would flirt with me after almost giving up your soul for my sake." I said before pulling Frisk into a hug. They sighed happily before returning my hug. We felt vines wrap around us and Frisk jumped a little in fright. I glared at Flowey, thinking he was trying to attack us.

"What? Am I not allowed to join in a hug with you two?" Flowey said. I softened my glare at those words, I was able to tell he was genuinely just wanting to hug us.

"Flowey? You're back...Are..Are you still gonna come with us?" Frisk said as they realized that Flowey was here instead of Asriel.

"Calm down, Frisk. I'm still keeping the promise, I'm coming with you to the surface with everyone else." Flowey assured Frisk. It seemed to work as the worry left their face. We pulled away from out little embrace and looked at each other.

"Frisk? Chara?" Flowey asked to get our attention.

"Yeah, Flowey?" Frisk asked.

"Do, Do you two hate me?" He asked timidly. "I'll understand if you do, I-"

"Flowey, it's the same with Asriel. I don't blame you for what you've done. Besides. It seems like you can feel now, can't you?" Frisk pointed out. That's my PaciFrisk. I chuckled mentally at my own pun.

"Y-Yeah! I guess I can!" Flowey grinned at them. "Chara, what about you? Do you hate me?" He asked me. I stared blankly at him for a few minutes and watched as he bit his lip in anticipation. I kneeled down to his eye level before speaking to him.

"Flowey...I won't say that I would've forgiven you as easily as Frisk has, but they have rubbed off on me. I don't hate you. I CAN'T hate you as you are literally another version of my brother. I can't forgive you right now, but I won't say that I will NEVER forgive you." I said truthfully. He seemed satisfied with my answer.

"I-I promise to be a better person, Chara. Frisk." He said with determination. Frisk smiled at him before they got to their feet.

"Well we should get going. Flowey, do you mind being carried in a flower pot?" Frisk asked with a teasing grin.

"Ugghh, Do I have to?" He asked which received him two nods of affirmation from the two of us. "Alright, Fine." He agreed reluctantly. Oh how I'm gonna tease him about this. I went and got a pot from Mom's room and I put Flowey inside of it. Frisk took the Flowey Pot (heh) from me. Frisk then tried to walk but stumbled a bit. Me being the great best friend I was lent them my shoulder and helped them through walk.

"Thanks, Chara." They said softly. We then decided it was time to leave the Ruins, so we made the trek back. When we reached the door of the ruins, we heard a familiar voice.

"heya, kiddo."

heya kids. please explain this to me

Sans Pov.

I decided to go check on the kiddo after an hour had passed with their last response to one of Tori's texts being from Snowdin. I should hate the kid for that other timeline, but I saw it in their eyes. They don't remember any of it. Even so, I probably wouldn't hate the kid even if they remembered. I had grown a sort of protective streak for Frisk and let me tell ya, that ain't shrinking anytime soon. This timeline was the first time Frisk had ever met me. But this wasn't the first time I've ever met Frisk. Anywhosen, I'm gettin' off topic here. I needed to find the kid and I needed to find them fast. I had taken a shortcut over to Grillby's and asked him if he had seen Frisk anywhere and if he had noticed anything weird. He told me that he indeed has seen Frisk and that they said they were headed for the Ruins. The next thing he told me worried me a little, he said that he got the shivers shortly afterward, like a ghost had passed through him. Now, this would be perfectly normal for someone in Snowdin, just not Grillby. Y'know because he's made of friggin fire. I teleported into the forest and ran towards the big door deep in the forest. I then saw two figures coming through the doorway. I saw Frisk and....oh no. The other one was here. It took all of my will power not to kill that little shit as soon as I saw them. The reason for me holding back was the fact that they were the one who was currently supporting Frisk. Who was holding the weed. Ugh, I swear to god if this whole fucking ordeal was just an elaborate scheme cooked up by them I was going to lose it. Against my better judgement, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.

"heya kiddo." I greeted. The little shit-Chara, I think their name was, looked up when they heard my voice. Frisk looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back at the kid and flashed a menacing look to the weed that only he picked up. He seemed to understand my warning and nodded slightly. Frisk handed the weed over to Chara and steadily made their way over to me.

Frisk Pov.

When I saw Sans standing there I pushed Flowey into Chara's hands and stepped over to him before latching on to him in a hug.

"Hi, Sans!" I greeted happily. For some reason I feel like I have a special connection to Sans. His hot cats are also delicious not to mention his hilarious puns. He returned my hug after a few moments with a chuckle.

"woah there pal! ya happy to see me or what?" He teased. Chara had approached us when we separated from our hug.

"Sans, this is Chara, they're Mom's other child!" I introduced the two of them.

"Hi." Chara nervously whispered while waving at the older skelebro.

"what, surprised to see me?" Sans asked them teasingly.

"Not really, I just get the feeling you don't like me for some reason." They said honestly, causing me to look at them in shock. I looked back at Sans and he seemed to be judging Chara with his look. Before he smiled at them.

"well that's just ridiculous. i've never met you before so how could i hate you already?" He said with a joking tone in his voice.

"'sides, now frisk isn't so bonely as tori's only child." He joked. Chara snickered a little at his pun. Chara had told me that they really liked puns so I think they're going to get along quite well with Sans.

"I'm a little worried about what Mom's reaction is going to be when she finds out that I'm alive." Chara said sheepishly.

"As well as her reaction to Flowey and what Frisk did to bring me back." Chara said.

"wait, what did the kid do?" Sans asked, sounding a little worried.

"Let's just say if it weren't for Flowey, Frisk would have given up their life for me." Chara admitted.

"well then. you earned some points there, weed." Sans said as he leaned down to Flowey's face. Flowey gulped and nodded.

"Also, what I meant by Mom's reaction to Flowey-" Chara tried to explain, but Sans cut them off.

"i already know, kid. flowey is asriel, right?" Sans said, surprising both me and Chara.

"H-How did you know?" Chara stammered.

"It's best not to question, guys." Flowey interjected. I then put two and two together. Flowey was terribly scared, and putting that together with what Sans had said to me in the bright corridor place, I knew Sans was a lot more powerful than he let on. But, that didn't change my opinion of him at all. If anything, it just made him cooler!

"well kiddos and former kid." Sans winked. "i think it's time we headed on back to tori and the others. you really scared everyone when you didn't respond for a couple of hours." Sans inform us.

"Oh no! Were we really out for that long?!" I questioned, receiving a nod for an answer.

"Then we better not keep them waiting for much longer." Chara said before grasping my hand. Sans took my other hand and stopped us from running off. We looked at him confused for a second before he grinned at us.

"over here. i know a shortcut." He said before directing us in the completely wrong direction of where we needed to go. As soon as we rounded a corner, we came face to face with Mom and everybody else. They hadn't moved from the spot that I had last seen them in.

"fast shortcut, huh?" Sans said with a grin before letting go of my hand and then looking over towards Mom.

"tori! we're back!" he said while waving.

"Sans! Oh thank goodness you found my...child...?" Toriel said as she ran towards me, slowing down as she realized who was standing next to me. I felt Chara's hand grip mine a little tighter and I could practically feel the nervousness emanating off of them. I gave their hand a little squeeze to try and comfort them.

"....C..Chara?" Mom whispered in disbelief. Tears were starting to form in her eyes. I heard Chara gulp before they inhaled with a deep breath.

"H-Hi...Mom." Chara said softly with a small wave. Mom burst into tears at that and ran towards us and knelt down and wrapped both Chara and myself into a big, warm, loving hug. I was happy Mom didn't leave me out of her hug, especially one this emotional. Mom's hugs are the best. We both hugged her back and I heard Chara cry into her fur. I couldn't help it, I began to cry into Mom's fur too.

"Oh my goodness! Chara! Frisk!" Mom cried as she tighten her hold on us. "I've missed you so much, Chara." She continued, sobbing in joy the whole time.

"I missed you too, Mom." Chara replied back, with as much happiness as our Mother. After a few minutes of this scene, we realized we had an audience in the form of all the friends I had made during my journey through The Underground. After we had calmed down a little, we pulled away sheepishly.

"Chara? Is that really you?" Asgore asked, approaching us. Chara hid behind Mom when he did.

"Chara, despite how I feel about him, you shouldn't dislike him as much as I do, he is still your father after all." Mom told Chara.

"Tori...Toriel, please don't defend me. I've already stated that you were right and I was wrong. If my own family hates me now, then I've got no one else to blame but myself. I don't deserve forgiveness for my past actions and you know it. I'll accept whatever feelings you have for me now without any resistance. I've been a terrible husband, a terrible king, and a terrible father. I do not expect you to forgive me, but I still apologize for what I've done." Asgore said sadly. I looked up at Mom and saw that she was wearing a neutral expression and Chara was looking at Asgore with a similar expression.

"Asgore. I myself can never forgive you for killing those innocent children. But I won't keep Chara from their father if they still wish to call you such." Mom said before she looked at Chara and I.

"Chara, Frisk. What do you two want to do." Mom asked us.

"Well, I think it should be up to Chara. Asgore was THEIR dad after all." I said truthfully. Everyone looked at Chara for an answer. They seemed to get more and more nervous with trying to find an answer. They were really sweating and breathing hard. I was starting to get worried for them so I put my hand reassuringly on their shoulder.

"I-I-I. I DON'T KNOW!!!" Chara screamed. "I CAN'T DECIDE!"

"It's as you say, he WAS my Dad, but, like with Mom, I can't ignore the fact that you killed six innocent children and was going to try to kill Frisk." Chara said through tears.

"I'm sorry, but I just can't look past that....Mr. Asgore." Chara finished, their tears never seeming to calm down. Asgore looked down at the ground after that and nodded sadly.

"Well, we shouldn't keep from returning to the surface for so long." Asgore said, trying to change the mood and subject.

"Let's go everyone!"

"ALL RIGHT! I, THE GRRREAT PAPYRUS SHALL BE THE FIRST MONSTER TO SEE THE SURFACE!!!!!!" Papyrus said cheerfully before running out of the exit. We all grinned at his actions and followed him outside.

We all stood over the cliff from near the exit of The Underground. The cliff overlooked the vast forest and more of the Mt. Ebott. To the left of us in the distance was the the area of Mt. Ebott where I entered The Underground. To the right, was a big city. In the middle of where we were looking was the Sun as it was setting. We were gazing into the sunset. Chara and I were holding hands while everyone else was staring in awe. We both stared with nostalgia, though. I could tell that Chara had missed the sun as much as I did.

"Oh my..." Mom said as she gazed out into the scenery around us.

"Isn't it beautiful, everyone?" Asgore spoke.

"Wow... it's e-even better than on TV." Alphys stuttered as she gazed in awe like everyone else was.

"WAY better! Better than I ever imagined!" She continued.

"Frisk, you LIVE with this!?" Undyne asked in disbelief. I nodded happily. If there was one thing I missed about the surface, it would be the sunsets and gazing at the stars.

"The sunlight is so nice... and the air is so fresh!" Undyne continued with her trademark huge smile.

"I really feel alive!" She finished, still adorning her smile.

"HEY SANS..." Papyrus started. "WHAT'S THAT GIANT BALL?" He asked the shorter skeleton.

"we call that "the sun," my friend." Sans answered.

"THAT'S THE SUN!? WOWIE!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M FINALLY MEETING THE SUN!!!" Papyrus exclaimed. I smiled at his enthusiasm.

"I could stand here and watch this for hours..." Asgore commented.

"Yes, it is beautiful, is it not?" Mom agreed with a smile. Her smiled dimmed a little as she continued speaking.

"But we should really think about what comes next."

"Oh, right." Asgore said with realization.

"Everyone... This is the beginning of a bright new future." He continued happily.

"An ere of peace between humans and monsters." He finished. He then turned to me before asking me a question.

"Frisk..." He started. "I have something to ask of you." He stated. I nodded at him and motioned for him to continue.

"Will you act as our ambassador to the humans?" He asked. I gasped a little at the question. I had no idea if I was ready to handle such a responsibility and I thought this over to myself for a minute. I had come to a conclusion a little quicker than I thought I would.

"Yes." I said with a smile. I was determined to help the race that had been so kind to me as much as possible.

"YEAH! FRISK WILL BE THE BEST AMBASSADOR!" Papyrus cheered. "AND I, THE GRRREAT PAPYRUS...WILL BE THE BEST MASCOT!" He exclaimed.

"I'LL GO MAKE A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!" He declared before running off to the right.

"welp. someone's gotta keep from getting into trouble. see you guys." Sans said with a wink before heading off in the opposite direction that lead back into The Underground.

"Man, do I have to do EVERYTHING?" Undyne groaned. "Papyrus, wait!!!" She screamed before chasing after the taller skelebro.

"Hey, Undyne!! Wait up!!" Alphys exclaimed. (without stuttering. Yay Alphys!) She then ran after Undyne. The five of us remaining sat in silence for a few moments.

"Whoops." Asgore spoke, trying to break the silence that had accumulated around us. It didn't work and we sat there for a few more moments before Asgore decided to try again.

"Uh, should I do something?" Asgore asked nervously, turning to his left to face Mom.

"..." Mom said nothing and sent him a heated sideways glare.

"Well, gotta go!" Asgore stated before running off to join the others, leaving just Mom, Chara, Flowey, and me. Mom looked towards the direction everybody had ran off to.

"It seems that everyone is quite eager to set off." Mom commented before turning back to face the sunset. She then turned towards us.

"Frisk..." She asked to get my attention. I turned towards her and craned my neck to meet her eyes.

"You came from this world, right...?" She said with a sad smile.

"So you must have a place to return to, do you not? What will you do now?" She asked me. I answered immediately. I didn't even need to think about this decision.

"I want to stay with you and Chara, Mom!" I answered with a smile before hugging her leg.

"What?" She asked in a shock before her expression turned to one of amusement.

"Frisk... You really are a funny child." Mom laughed. "If you had said that
earlier, none of this would have happened." She continued.

"It is a good thing you took so long to change your mind. Hee Hee Hee." She giggled. Chara and I laughed along with her.

"Well... I suppose. If you really do not have any other place to go... I will do my best to take care of you, for as long as you need. All right?" She spoke with her motherly tone. I nodded happily and hugged her leg again, Chara hugged her with me while still holding Flowey. Mom leaned down and returned our hug happily. Flowey had been pretty silent for quite some time now. After a minute or so, she pulled away from our hug.

"Now come along." She said before grabbing my hand. I had grabbed Chara's free hand, too.

"Everyone is waiting for us." Mom said before guiding us to where everybody else had gone.

When we reached everyone, we had found that they were waiting for us at the base of the mountain. Sans had gotten to Papyrus almost immediately and explained to him how it wouldn't be a good idea to go blasting into human society. Much to Undyne's confusion and slight anger. When Undyne had asked Sans how he had gotten down here so fast, he told her that he took shortcut.

"welp, i would think that the best place to start would be that city we saw from the mountain." Sans said as we were all in one place again. We all agreed with him before heading off towards the city. Chara and I lead the group as we wanted to try and calm down any people assuming that the Monsters were evil or whatever.

"Hmm, if I remember correctly, that city is where I had met that nice lady." I said to myself. What was the high school she was going to called? I know I knew the name of it, I just can't remember. Oh right, she was student at Canterlot High and the city we were approaching was called Equestria City I believe. I told everyone this information as we headed into the city, bracing for the reactions humans would undoubtedly have.

Sunset Shimmer Pov:

I had invited all of my friends over to my house for a little sleep over I had wanted to have for awhile now. I was currently upstairs, going through my computer whIle everyone was hanging out downstairs watching my TV. Two years ago, a few months after I had met Twilight and saw the error of my ways, I had met a little child. They had told me that their name was Frisk. The way I had met them was a kind of funny. I was reading a book while at a park when they had come frome behind me a tried to eat my hair, thinking it was bacon. I chuckled as I remembered that exchange. I had gotten to know the kid a little as they stayed at the park. I came by once a day for a few weeks with food to give them. They had told me that they had ran away from home and was walking from city to city with no real destination.

When I had found this out, I had tried to get them to come with me to my house or call the police, but they refused. The next day I came by, they were nowhere to be seen. I had taken a picture of her before hand and made a missing person poster out of it. I had plastered them all over town, hoping somebody would find them. Two years later and no luck. I was updating my file on them in my computer when my friend Rainbow Dash burst into my room.

"Rainbow! What the shit?!" I exclaimed as she burst into my room without warning.

"Sunset, you really need to see what's on the news. Like now." She said before dragging off of my computer chair and out of my room.

"Wait! Rainbow!" I exclaimed as she dragged me downstairs. She directed me towards my living room where the rest of my friends were waiting.

"I brought her, guys." Rainbow said from next to me.

"Ok good. Pinkie, if you would mind unpausing the TV now." My friend Rarity said from the middle of the room.

"Uh huh!" Pinkie said before doing just that. I looked at the TV before my eyes widened in shock. Frisk was on the TV. They had been found...but they were with a group of creatures that were being identified as Monsters and another child was holding Frisk's hand with one hand, and was holding a living flower in the other arm. I wasn't completely worried, as the monsters seemed to be standing around them protectively as a group of armed humans were approaching them. I realized that they were in Equestria City and recognized the place they were at. I did the only thing I could think of; I ran out of my house and got into my car. Before I could pull off, Rainbow Dash and Rarity and everyone else got into my car with me. I thanked them for coming with me before I pulled off from my driveway and sped off in the direction of the edge of town.

Hey, I know You!

Frisk Pov:

We entered the city, which was confirmed to be the city I had thought it was when we passed a big billboard said "Welcome To Equestria City!"

We were huddled together, waiting for somebody to come at us and attack. Sure enough we heard screams tear through the town and shouts of "Monsters!"

Chara's grip on my hand tightened to reassure me and theirself that everything was going to be alright. A lot of people with varying actions and reactions then came out and confronted us. The most obvious were the camera crews and policemen. There were some citizens that had taken arms themselves out here, too.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" The Sheriff shouted through a megaphone. There were multiple police cars and police officers armed with guns in case we tried anything dangerous. The policemen had gotten most of the citizens with guns to either go back to their homes or join in their barricade.

"Mr. Sheriff! Sir, please wait! They aren't here to hurt anybody!" I shouted to the Sheriff, hoping to get him to calm down. He seemed to finally notice me and gave me a questioning look.

"How do you know this, kid?" He questioned. He didn't scream this or demand this with a scared or threatening tone, which was good. He wasn't freaking out about this and seemed to be trying his best to take it into stride.

"They're very nice people! They have helped me out a lot! They were unfairly forced into an underground cavern and trapped there for a very long time. Despite all this, they don't seek revenge, they just want to live on the surface in peace." I explained. Chara nodding along with me. Mom stepped in front of us and took a careful posture, to show that she wasn't going to attack.

"My child speaks the truth, our kind comes in peace, officer." Mom said. The Sheriff stood still for a few minutes, processing this information before he came out from behind his car and walked over to us, much to the charge in of the rest of the people there. Nobody moved to stop him or moved to attack us yet, so that was a good sign, I hope. The Sheriff stopped right in front of us and looked up to Mom. Mom was very tall, standing at around eight feet and four inches, so most humans would have to crane their necks to look at her eyes. The Sheriff was by no means short, however, he was a little over six feet from what I could guess.

"May I ask your name, miss?" The Sheriff asked.

"My name is Toriel." Mom answered. The Sheriff nodded.

"John." He said simply.

"Well, Miss Toriel, I can tell that you're speaking the truth, you have a tone to your voie that suggests you are a very kind and honest person." John said before he looked over the rest of our group.

"Does what Miss Toriel say go for all of you? Do you all wish to live on the surface in peace?" John asked everybody.

"YES, HUMAN JOHN! WE ARE A VERY NICE GROUP OF MONSTERS I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW!" Papyrus spoke. His words pretty much summing up everyone's thoughts.

"Sheriff John! Get back here before they eat your soul!" One John's subordinates shouted.

"Be quiet, Kyle! They don't mean no harm and they certainly aren't going to eat my soul!" He shouted back. It seemed that no one else shared Sheriff John's thoughts on the whole situation, meaning he was the only human who would be helpful to us in any way. Everybody else were just too skeptical and scared of the Monsters. Asgore began talking with John in hopes to come to some kind of agreement seeing as they were both leaders to some degree.

"Mr, Asgore, while I do appreciate the compliment, a Sheriff is hardly the same as a King." John said sheepishly. As they continued their conversation, Chara inched closer to me. They were still holding Flowey. Both of them seemed to wear the same concerned expression on both of their respective faces.

"Frisk, do you think we'll be able to do this? Do you think we can make it here or are humans still the same?" Chara asked, their voice getting a little bitter when they started to think back to when they had first came to The Underground. I gripped their hand once again and hugged them and Flowey.

"I'm sorry. I would really like to say that humans have changed from when you had met them, yet I don't believe I could honestly say that they had changed. At least not much and those that did are very far and few between. We lucked out with Sheriff John being an understanding individual." I said honestly.

"You can always load, right? Can you still do that?" Chara asked me with worry evident in their tone. I closed my eyes and felt for the familiar feeling of the saving and loading. There it is.

"Yes, I can." I informed them. My answer seemed to calm both them and Flowey down quite a bit. Undyne was conversating with Sans, they both seemed to have serious expressions on their faces. Most likely talking about what to do if the humans attacked. Mom and Asgore were both working together to talk to Sheriff John about stuff regarding Monsters and Humans. (Mom was reluctantly working with Asgore.) Mettaton had caught up with us before we had entered the city and was talking with Alphys. Flowey then waved his leaves around to get my attention.

"Frisk, do you know about RESETTING?" He whisper asked me.

"I've seen the button, yes, but I haven't used it or even tried to." I told him.

"I can tell you haven't used it yet. Just keep it ready in case of extreme emergencies." Flowey said seriously, Chara reluctantly agreed with Flowey.

"Only use it as a last resort, however." Chara said firmly. I nodded in agreement. I could guess what RESETTING would probably do and I don't want to have to use that button ever. Everyone present got really tense all of a sudden when we heard the squealing of tires on road as a car approached us from behind, they were successfully evading the police barricade by circling around the city and coming from behind us like this. Undyne got into a defensive stance and summoned a spear. Papyrus jumped in front of Chara and I protectively. Sans's eyelights went out and Mom looked shocked. The car screeched to halt beside us a couple meters to our right. The drive door opened fast and a familiar color of hair flew out of the car. My eyes widened and my mouth dropped a little in shock. I said the only thing that I could in that moment

"Hey, I know you!" I shouted as I pointed at the girl who had helped me out two years ago. I was in disbelief that she was there. Her eyes had found me when I exclaimed that I knew her and she dashed towards me.

"Frisk Is everything alright? Do you need any help?" She questioned once she got over to me and everyone else. I was still in shock that she had remembered me and even remembered my name.

"Uhhh." I stammered. Chara looked down at me and stood in front of me protectively.

"Hello lady! My name is Chara and I am Frisk's older sibling! Can I help you?" They said, trying to get the attention off of me as they could tell I was starting to grow uncomfortable. The lady that had helped looked a little sheepish as she seemed to have just realized something.

"I guess this is the perfect time to introduce myself, seeing as I'm pretty sure I never gave you my name two years ago." She laughed sheepishly.

"My name is Sunset Shimmer. It's nice to meet you, Frisk and Chara." She smiled. Sheriff John walked up to us and he seemed to recognize Sunset.

"Miss Shimmer, pardon me for interrupting, but this is the kid you had made Missing Persons Posters for?" He asked, taking a better look at me.

"She does fit the bill." He said, causing me to squirm uncomfortably.

"They." Chara and Sunset said at the same time with the same dangerous tone in their voices.

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by that." Sheriff John answered nervously.

"Frisk prefers to go with non-binary terms as it's what they're most comfortable with. Don't refer to them as male or female." Chara warned. Sunset nodded with them.

"I am the same way." They continued.

"Well then I apologize for that, Frisk." Sheriff John apologized. The next few hours were spent getting everything sorted out with Monsters and Humans and my Missing Person Poster situation. I was very surprised that Sunset went that far to try and find me. I guess not that many people cared or tried there hardest to look for me aside from Sunset as the posters were all made before I fell into The Underground. I had been wondering around for another year or so after I had met Sunset before I found that I had ended up going in a huge circle and ended up on the other side of Mount Ebott which had another city, Ebott City. The mountain had Two cities to the north and south of it. The north was Ebott City and the south was Equestria City. Sunset had wanted me to stay with her for the time being, but I refused if it meant I wouldn't be able to stay with my family. When I said that she had looked confused before Mom had conveniently came in at that time and took my hand saying that they had found a place for all of us to camp out at for the time being. Sunset and her friends who I had met a little earlier in the day said goodbye and to call on them if we ever needed their help.

There was a rather big log cabin out in the woods near the base of the mountain we were instructed to stay at for the time being. Sans and Papyrus spruced it up with magic to make it feel more homelier. It was getting late so we I headed to my room that I shared with Chara and Flowey and went to bed. Chara had already turned in for the night so I took the bed that wasn't taken by them.

Sans Pov:

I was actually impressed with how big this lodge was when we found it. Some of us still have to split rooms, however, like the kiddos. I had my own room as did Paps and Tori. Undyne and Alphys had shared a room, too. Everyone else had their own room. I been sitting at my new desk for the past few hours, I couldn't get to sleep. Everyone else was in the house and I didn't feel like going downstairs to make something to eat. As there wasn't anything there at the moment. I was reading a comic book a had found in my room. When I found out that it was actually a Manga I was very excited to read it. What? Did you think the doc was the only Anime nerd in The Underground? I got news for ya buddy. You're old pal Sans is a definite Anime fan. I had only just now looked at the front cover and found that it was a collection of the entire first part of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure. Needless to say, I scored with this one. I was just finishing the end of the book when I heard coming towards my room. I closed the Manga and turned my swivel chair that I had taken a shortcut to retrieve from The Underground towards the door. It opened to reveal a sight I was not expecting. I was expecting to see one of the kiddos or Tori, not Undyne.

"heya 'dyne. howzit hangin'." I greeted with a small wave.

"Sans, we need to talk." She said seriously, uncertainty and wariness emanating from her lone eye.

"uh, okay? what about?" I asked a little confused.

"Does all this seem familiar to you?" She asked. My entire body went rigid and my eyelights went out when she asked that. Oh...fuck.

"How so?" I asked seriously, looking her in the eye.

"I feel like I've met Frisk before and that we've been to the surface a few times. The whole fucking time Frisk was in The Underground, I've been having this strange sense of Déjà Vu. The sensation was there all the way until we got to the city, where things played out a little differently then what I was at that point expecting them to."

"That's because this time, we came out of The Underground on the other side of Mount Ebott." I told her.

"This...time?" She questioned.

"The things that feel familiar to you, and the things that you 'remember' all actually happened." I continued. I looked up at her to see her reaction and could see that she was waiting for me to explain further.

"The kid's journey through The Underground happened a lot of times. A LOT of times. Like possibly thousands of times." I continued.

"Their whole journey was Reset by them multiple times and they kept doing it over and over. There were times where people remembered a little of what happened, and there were times where everyone's memories seemed to be completely void of the previous 'run' the kid had done. I, on the other hand, remember everything vividly." I told her she looked like she had more questions now, but waited for me to continue, so that's what I did.

"You specifically, Undyne, always seemed to be aware somewhat of what had happened in the previous 'run' the kid had made. Even if it was only like a slight sense of a more vivid than usual Deja Vu." I informed her, which seemed to appease her a little.

"Before we continue this, let me ask you a question, Undyne." I said.

"Alright, go ahead."

"Do you remember anything specifically?" I asked.

"There were sometimes where I felt like I needed to kill the kid like everything depended on it." She told me.

"I was afraid of that." I sighed.

"There were times where the kid seemed like they were a completely different person. The runs where they killed everyone in The Underground. The Genocide Run." I said icily. Undyne looked like she desperately wanted to scream. I wanted as little people as possible to be aware of this, so I grabbed her arm and took her through a shortcut to my room in my house back at Snowdin. She took a deep breath to avoid screaming iat what I would assume would be the sheer shock and insanity of the whole situation.

"S-So that's why." Undyne said softly.

"There's something that's been bothering me, however." I said.

"And what would that be, Sans?!" She asked, trying to play it off, but freaking out at the fact that something was actually bothering me.

"The kid is in control of all of this and thus always remembers the previous run. This time, however, they have no idea about the Resets or the other runs. To them, this is the first time they had fallen to The Underground." I informed her. Undyne seemed to have calmed down at that revelation.

"This is answered a lot of questions I had." Undyne said gratefully.

"Is it weird that I feel protective of Frisk and Chara now?" She asked.

"If it is, then I am weird too." I grinned at her.

"We shouldn't talk about this to anyone. No one else seems to remember anything at all aside from you and me." I told her. (and flowey, but even he doesn't remember the previous run.)

"I suppose, but what do we do if they start to remember?" Undyne asked me.

"Deal with it then." I said simply.

Humans are still the worst

Three Weeks Later. Chara Pov:

Things couldn't have possibly gone worse for the Monsters these past few weeks. The first week started out decently, with Sheriff John actually being a respectable human being and attempted to help us the best way they could. Frisk's friend from before they fell...Sunset, I think her name was, tried her best to help us as well along with her friends and things seemed like they were going decently alright, but then, word got out to the rest of the world about the Monsters. There were tons and tons of problems with this, the USA government had declared the city of Equestria under quarantine, which pissed me off. They thought that were some kind of disease that needed to be contained!?! BULLSHIT! Calm down, Chara don't freak out.

They weren't really too too much of a problem. The worst thing that had happened was when the neighboring city of Equestria City had found out about the Monsters. The city that was named after the mountain both of the cities were next to; Ebott City. It was just as bad as I remembered. Everybody there were still racist, prejudiced, xenophobic bastards. If you couldn't guess, that town was were I had grown up, and was also the reason why I hate humans. I hope the humans there aren't as bad as they were back when I used to live there, but I doubted it. From what little information I had managed to find out about what they were doing in retaliation to the fact of Monsters being on the surface, was down right Monstrous. Yes I am aware of the irony of that statement. They had made countless threats to our lives as well as the lives of any human that had tried to help the Monsters. There were even some actual assassination attempts, which we sort of expected. But we expected some people to try and assassinate Asgore or Mom. Not who they actually tried to kill. Not Frisk. This whole incident is why the Monsters are in a huge amount of trouble right now. Because of how badly we reacted to this incident.

Frisk was in the middle of talking with some people from the government, pleading and desperately trying to get them to understand that the Monster's were a peaceful race. All of us had gathered around them as we didn't trust any humans other than Sunset as Frisk could vouch for them. Sheriff John was alright too, but he had to many legal issues with his job as Sheriff to really be seen as a trustworthy human, at least to me. In the middle of the meeting, Frisk was shot in the chest from somewhere. Everyone lost their shit. They all snapped into action and proceeded to do go into lock down or whatever. I know some people are expecting me to have flipped out and tried to find the human who had shot Frisk and kill them very dead. But all I did was clutch Frisk's bleeding body and cry relentlessly. I thought I had just lost the kid who I had come to view as a little sibling and was responsible for reuniting me with my family. I cried and cried and cried for what felt like hours. I thought that the only human I would ever think of as 'good' just died in front of me. I can't tell you how relieved I was when I felt them grab me and heard them breath shakily. Realizing what was happening, I picked them up and ran over to Mom and practically ordered her to heal Frisk. I didn't release my embrace on Frisk for the rest of the day. I felt stupid later for forgetting about the save and load system Frisk had until much later, but can you really blame me for freaking out in the heat of the moment?

Now, when I say the Monsters freaked out, I mean there were lots of problematic reactions from us. Mom, after making sure that Frisk was safe and wasn't going to die, was so pissed she practically was on fire demanding recompense for Frisk. Her magic flames didn't stop emanating off of her until I asked her to calm down when Frisk pretty much begged me to do so. Undyne was barely holding back from impaling the humans around us with her spears. None of the humans seemed to react as I would expect someone to react to a fucking twelve year old being shot. Some of them even chuckled. Sans, god bless him, immediately tracked down the fucker who had shot Frisk. He was pretty far away as he had used a sniper to shoot Frisk. Sans used... certain methods, to get information out of the guy before he unceremoniously killed him. My respect for him grew to exponential heights when he told me specifically what he had done to the guy. I knew he cared for at least Frisk as much as he did Papyrus, I'm not sure how much he liked me, but I think he cares for me a little. From what I've seen, Sans cares about Frisk as if they were his own daughter. Yes, I know daughter isn't gender amicable or whatever, but I like the term daughter and after talking to Frisk about it I found that they prefer the term daughter to offspring of adopted child. At least when we are with immediate family. With how Sans and Mom are acting towards each other, Sans may actually end up becoming our new Dad maybe, which after how much he helped with the situation with Frisk (by killing their attacker and finding out why he attacked them.) was an idea I wasn't against. Of course, the humans reaction to a Monster killing a human wasn't very... ideal for our situation. This all happened two days ago. Now we were all sitting around in the living room of the log cabin we had called home for the past three weeks.

"I still can't believe the people of Ebott City actually wanted to kill Frisk just because they had freed us!" Undyne said angrily. She was probably my favorite Monster outside of my Family. She acted like an older sister/Aunt to Frisk and I.

"I can't believe how many people agreed with their actions." Alphys said solemnly.

"The fact that so many people are so childishly afraid of things they don't understand that they pretty much condoned the murder of a child is just plain evil." Mom said icily as she came out of the kitchen with some sandwiches

"Condoning the murder of a child for any reason is just downright despicable." Mom finished as she placed the sandwiches on the coffee table before heading upstairs into Frisk and I's room. Flowey had stayed up in our room with Frisk, not wanting them to be left alone.

"Maybe we should have stayed in The Underground." Alphys said sadly.

"Perhaps you are correct, Dr. Alphys..." Asgore agreed.

"I can't say enough how sorry I am for all of this." Sunset apologize, her eyes red and puffy.

"Sunset, none of this is your fault. Just because you weren't there when this happened doesn't mean you don't care for us or at least Frisk." I consoled her. Sunset Shimmer was by far the greatest human I have ever met aside from Frisk. She genuinely cared for Frisk and never once even bat an eye over what company Frisk keeps. If anything she was grateful for the Monsters for being the family Frisk deserved.

"But maybe I could've done something to prevent all this if I was there!" She cried.

"The kiddo was sniped from very far away. Unless you knew where the sniper was and knew what they were planning beforehand, you couldn't have stopped happened even if you were there." Sans said seriously.

"No one blames you, Sunset. You shouldn't blame yourself, either." He continued.

"Frisk is safe and alright. That's what matters." I told Sunset. She nodded in acceptance before I pulled her into a hug.

"Putting Frisk's condition aside, there is still the problem of how the humans are going to react to this incident. They're not going to focus on the fact that a child was shot and almost died, but the fact that one of us Monsters killed a human, even though he deserved it." Sans stated. Everyone gave various replies of agreement to that fact.

"We may have to resort to drastic measures if things continue this way." Asgore said. Sunset looked like she wanted to say something, but before she could, we were interrupted by a loud vibration sound coming from her bag. Sunset's eyes lit up as she ran towards the bag. She took out the source of the vibration sounds and it seemed to be a book of some kind that glowed purple in time with it's vibrations. She opened it and seemed to read something in it before she took out a pen. When it glowed again after she wrote something in it, she smiled widely.

"Sunset, what exactly is that?" Alphys asked her.

"Quite possibly a solution to this problem!" She exclaimed excitedly.

"This is a way for me to get into contact with a very good friend of mine, She can help us!" She stated.

"How so?" Mom asked as she came back downstairs from our room. Frisk came down with Flowey right behind Mom.

We all rushed to Frisk to make sure they were all right. Sure, we all knew that Mom had healed them just fine and that her Healing Magic was the best out of all the Monsters, but we were still going to baby Frisk for quite awhile. Especially since they didn't seem bothered by it.

"Guys, guys, I'm alright really." They laughed before placing Flowey on the coffee table. He ate all of the sandwiches since no one else was hungry.

"Toriel, may I speak with you in another room alone please?" Sunset asked after a few minutes.

"Oh, well sure I suppose so." Mom agreed before leading the two color haired woman out of the room. I talked with Frisk about certain things, and they agreed with everyone's sentiments on the whole situation. They also agreed that there was most likely going to be very bad consequences for everything.

"What are we going to do." They said despairingly. I moved over to them and pulled them into a hug. Everyone seemed to think my idea was a good one and all of them hugged Frisk with me, making it one big group hug, even Flowey joined in.

"If there is one thing that is certain, it's that we all have each other's backs. All of us." Undyne said with a grin.

"You got that right." I said. Everyone agreed with this. After a few minutes of this, we all reluctantly pulled apart from our group hug.

"We all have your back especially, Frisk." I said with a smile. It was this scene Mom and Sunset came back into the room to.

"Everyone! Sunset has a plan that could save us all from what would most likely end up being another war with the humans." Mom informed us all. Everyone had the same reaction, it was a very simple reaction.

"HUH?!"

??? Pov.

I looked around as I ran through the town, everything is on fire, there is blood and dust everywhere.

"Where the fuck is she?!" I whispered to myself, worried that the worst had happened. I made the turn down to her house and saw so much destruction throughout the street. Everyone I came across so far was either dead or dying. I can't believe this is happening. I didn't care about most of the people in this town or anyone at all in general. The one person I cared about, I care about her...A LOT.

"Please be okay. Please." I whispered to myself as I ran towards her house. Her mom's car was on it's side and on fire. She was the one person I cared about, she can't be dead. She can't be. I entered her house and found a very grizzly scene. There was a kid with so fucking many stab wounds lying dead against a wall, and I saw her clutching her mother, not very far from the murdered kid.

"Mom, please don't die! I didn't mean to do this!" She said in between her tears. Her mother smiled sadly as dust seeped through her mouth, she noticed me standing in the door way.

"My child, your girlfriend is here." Her mom said. She turned to look at me, tears pouring in her eyes. I can tell she desperately wants to get up and hug me, but she can't leave her dying mothers side. I decided to come over to them and kneeled down next to her and her mom.

"I'm hrrk, I'm not going to make it, kids." Her Mom said. She cried harder into her mother.

"I'm sorry to leave you like this, my child, but you won't be alone, you have her." Her Mom said with a sad smile. She continued to cry, but nodded at her mother's words. Her Mom looked over to me.

"Take care of her, you hear me?" She said.

"I will, Teach." I said sadly, my favorite teacher, and my girlfriend's Mom was dying in front of me and said girlfriend.

"Be good, kids. I...Love...you....my...child.." Her Mom said as Her Mom turned to dust. As the dust of Her Mom fell through her fingers, she turned and clutched me. I was all she had left, and she was all I had left. I wrapped my arms around her in a sad attempt at a comforting hug.

"We need to go."

The Plan

Frisk Pov:

"So, you're telling me, that you aren't actually a human, but actually a magic pony from another world?" Undyne asked disbelievingly. Sunset had explained her idea when Mom had announced it to the room. The fact that the one human who had been kind enough to even help me a little back then wasn't even a real human was kind of, shocking.

"Well, I believe her. Humans are the absolute worst. It's easier for me to trust Sunset if she isn't really an actual human." Chara said.

"Me too." I said softly, I agreed with every word my sister said about humans.

A few days ago, I would have reprimanded Chara for talking that way about a whole race, but after I...got shot, and the reactions of the humans after that happened, I believed everything Chara said about humans being the worst. The fact that more people cared that a human who was capable of assassinating a child died than a child being shot was kind of...sickening. Sunset and her friends were the only people that seemed to be on our side in this whole thing. Sheriff John wasn't even seen much by any of us anymore.

"I hate to agree with this sentiment, but sadly, from what I've seen, it's true." Mom said solemnly. Nobody spoke up against this. It seemed that everyone be it vocally or silently, agreed with the fact that humans weren't a good race of beings.

"Still though. If we can in any way avoid a war, I think we should take it." I spoke up as everyone else seemed to have grown silent.

"The kiddo's right. I don't know about all of you, but I don't want to experience another Monster/Human war first hand." Sans agreed with me. Everyone nodded in agreement with the older skelebro's words.

"Alright Sunset, how do we pull this plan of yours off?" Mom asked Sunset. Mom had pretty much become the leader of our little family. No one seemed to object with her as we all looked at Sunset expectantly.

"According to my friend in Equestria, the next time the portal will be open will be at around nine o clock tonight." She informed us.

"Is there anyway to prevent us from becoming ponies?" Undyne asked. "No offense, but I'd rather stay the way I am now." She continued.

"I'm not even one hundred percent sure that Monsters' bodies will change shape when in Equestria." She admitted.

"We'll just have to deal with it if it does happen." Mom said.

"This is our best shot to live a peaceful life after all." She continued. Everyone agreed, some more reluctant than others, with Mom's sentiments.

"It's settled, we go with Sunset's plan." Mom concluded. We all nodded in acceptance.

"We should all leave for the portal at around eight-thirty. The portal is in front of Canterlot High School." Sunset informed everyone.

"That's not for another eight hours. Everyone should get some rest in the meantime." Mom said.

"On it, Tori!" Sans said seriously before promptly face planting on the carpet floor and began snoring.

"How does he do that?!" Sunset exclaimed.

"IT'S BEST NOT ASK MUCH ABOUT SANS, MISS SUNSET." Papyrus said before carrying Sans up to his room.

"I'm going to follow his example and get some sleep before we do this." Chara said as they stood up and stretched before heading upstairs to our room. I followed after them without saying a word other than good nights to everyone (even though it was daytime and we would be waking up at night.) The next time I wake up, it might be the last time I wake up in this world.

??? Pov:

Walking. It seemed all we could do was walk. We had no idea how far we were from our destination, only that we had to reach it if we wanted a fresh start at life.

"This sucks." She said from my right. We were holding hands as we walked through the state of California.

"Yeah." I agreed softly.

"Are you alright?" I mentally punched myself, even I could tell that was a stupid question.

"Aside from you, everyone I ever knew and loved is dead. The home I grew up in is in ashes along with my hometown, I watched my mother turn to dust in my arms, unable to do anything. Everyone else in my family died before I could even say goodbye. Yeah, I'm just fucking peachy." She growled. Needless to say, I felt a hundred and ten percent like a pile of shit.

"I'm sorry, that was a stupid fucking question." I said as I stopped are trek and pulled her into a hug. She hugged me back and pressed her head into my chest.

"It's fine. I'm sorry for snapping at you." She said, her voice muffled a bit as she didn't move her face from my chest.

"Nah, Don't worry about it." I said as I held her tighter. We stood like that for awhile, just hugging each other.

"You do realize my face is in your boobs, right?" She asked. Great. Moment ruined.

"Of course, ya pervert." I said as laid my head on top of hers. We parted from our embrace shortly after this.

We continued our journey through the state of California, looking for the place that promised a new life.

"I love you." She said as she put an arm around me as we walked.

"I love you too." I said while returning her side hug.

Frisk Pov:

We were all moving through out the city towards Sunset's high school. I really hope that this idea of Sunset's works. We were moving as unit to our destination, trying our best to keep from garnering attention from the humans.

"We're almost there!" Sunset sounded from the front of our group. We were almost there, great. I was glad we were almost there, I was tired of worrying about something going horribly wrong.

"hey, kid. you seem worried." Sans said as he changed his pace to be in time with mine.

"Is it that obvious?" I asked timidly.

"considering you're walking slower than i am, yeah. it's pretty obvious." Sans said. I mentally groaned at that.

"Sorry, I just don't want anything to go wrong." I admitted.

"well, i would say not to worry and nothing will go wrong, but i'm not gonna pull the pin on that grenade of irony." He said. He saw that didn't help with my mood so he tried something else to cheer me up.

"look, kid. tibia honest with you, i would offer to give you a piggyback ride or something, but that would be a skele-ton of work." He joked. I sniggered at his puns.

"Wow, Sans! Those are even worse then normal." I laughed. He shrugged his shoulders before speaking again.

"heh, what can i say? that's just how i....roll." He said as he pulled out a bread roll out of nowhere. This got more laughs out me.

"you're really good at being happy kid, so stop trying to be emo, you're not as good as chara." Sans said after I calmed down.

"Okay, Sans. I'll try to forget it." I said, before he grabbed my hand.

"come on, let's 'ketchup' to the rest of the group now." He said before pulling me along. We caught up with the main group pretty fast. Huh. Lazybones can be pretty fast when he wants to.

Soon, we came across Canterlot High School, but of course, people were there. There were five people standing there, I couldn't really make out who they were from where I was standing. We all tensed up when one of them seemed to look in our direction.

"Sunset! There you are!" She said as she realized who we were. I recognized the voice as Sunset's friend. What was her name?

"Rainbow Dash!" Oh, that's right. Thanks Sunset.

Everyone let out a breath of relief as we realize the five figures were just Sunset's friends.

"Guys, what are you doing here?!" Sunset asked as we all reached the front of Canterlot High.

"You guys need to go, now!" Rainbow said, worry filling her expression. Her friends nodding with her.

"What? Why?!" Chara exclaimed.

"Flash Sentry found out about your plan, Sunset. He's going to get a bunch of guys and come any minute now to try and fuck this up." She continued. That really pissed off Sunset.

"That son of a bitch! Why would he do this?!" Sunset demanded.

"He wanted to get back at you for 'everything you did to him' he decided that ruining your plan and consequentially your 'stupid child friend's' life." Rainbow Dash informed Sunset.

"NGAAAHHH!! WHO IS THIS FLASH SENTRY FUCKER AND WHERE CAN I MURDER HIM!?!?!?" Undyne shouted angrily. Some of her magic spears started to form around her in her anger. As her previous words would suggest, she looked like she was about to murder someone. Sans still hasn't let go of my hand and I felt his grip tighten on mine. I looked and saw that his eyelights had went out, but his left eye was glowing blue and looked like it was on fire. Blue fire. It was, pretty, and terrifying. The scariest thing about it, however, was the fact that I have never seen it before, but it looked familiar to me. He apparently noticed me staring, because he shook it off after a few moments.

"He is my Ex. I don't know where he is at the moment." Sunset huffed in answer to Undyne's question.

"I guess he's more of a dick than I thought." Sunset said irritated. Suddenly there was a bunch of voices shouting all around the campus of CHS. There were Flashlight beams in the distance.

"They're coming! You need to go, now!" The purple haired fancy lady spoke.

"We'll make sure they don't follow ya'll." The blonde country gal stated firmly.

"I can't thank you enough for doing this for us, you kids." Mom expressed gratefully.

"Don't mention it, Miss Toriel, now please leave through the portal before it's too late." Fluttershy said softly. Everyone moved to the Horse Statue's front. Sunset looked back at her friends.

"I'm sorry for the trouble guys, I'll come back soon." She told them.

"For sure!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, giving us a thumbs up. Sunset informed us all to grab each others hands. We did as she informed us. She then walked through the statue, the portal rippling as she did so. It soon pulled all of us inwards.

Narrator Pov:

The five Rainbooms stared at the portal their friend had just gone into with the Monsters. They had made a decision together without Sunset when they had found out what Flash was planning to do. Fluttershy couldn't take it anymore and burst into tears.

"I'm going to miss Sunset. And those Monster people." Fluttershy cried sadly. Her friends looked at her sadly as they nodded in agreement. Rainbow Dash moved closer to her crying friend before doing her best to comfort her.

"We all will, Flutters." Rainbow said as she gave a reassuring hug to her timid friend.

"I know we would love it if she could visit, but we all know that we can't let anybody follow them, right?" Rarity said. Everyone voiced there agreement to their friends words. They looked at each other, than directed their sad gazes back at the portal.

"We need to destroy the portal." Rarity stated. Everyone sighed sadly at this, they really didn't want to do this, but they knew they couldn't let there be a chance of anyone following their friends and possibly hurting them.

"AJ, did you bring the dynamite from your farm's storage?" Rainbow asked.

"Yeah I sure did." She said as she pulled a bundle of the explosives from her bag. Everyone sighed once again as they were really going to miss them, Sunset Shimmer especially. The five friends then set up the dynamite around the portal before lighting it.

"We're sorry Sunset, but we won't being seeing you again." Rainbow Dash said as the fuse burned. The five friends then ran out of the danger zone of the explosion. When they heard the boom, they turned around and saw that they had succeeded at their job.

The statue was now nothing but rubble.

Frisk Pov:

I felt something shake my body as I heard a muffled voice. The voice sounded really familiar, but I couldn't quite make out who it was or what they were saying. I think the voice belonged to what ever was shaking me. The fog started to get a little clearer, I could hear the voice better now, but I still couldn't quite make it out. The shaking got more intense after a few minutes as the voice started to sound more and more clearer. I could tell it was frantically saying, something. I knew who this voice belonged to, but who was it?

"FRISK! PLEASE WAKE UP!"

I gasped loudly as I shot up into a sitting position. I was breathing heavily as I came to.

"FRISK!" The voice from before shouted as a for clung on to me. It was Chara.

"H-Hey, Chara." I said as I returned their hug.

I heard several sighs of relief from around us and saw my family standing around me. Where are we? Oh yeah, right. We had jumped through the portal to Sunset's home.

"jeez, kid. you really like scaring us like that, dontcha? you made paps cry again." I heard Sans say.

"Sorry everyone, I didn't mean to scare any of you." I apologized sheepishly. I tried to stand up, but I stumbled down. I looked myself over and saw that I was a pony now. That's going to take some getting used to. I looked over to Chara and saw that they were a pony as well, but everyone else remained the same.

A very pretty purple pony came over to Chara and I. I saw that she had wings and a unicorn horn. Sunset had explained to me what an Alicorn was so I tried to greet her politely.

"You're mane looks very nice." I said before I mentally facepalmed. Or was it a facehoof? Of course I would automatically flirt with a goddess. Thankfully, she seemed to think it was endearing and chuckled at my words.

"Why thank you!" She smiled.

"My name is Twilight Sparkle. I'm the friend that Sunset talked through the magic book with." Twilight introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you, Twilight! My name is Frisk!" I greeted. She then asked me something that I wasn't quite expecting.

"I'd like to know if you would want your old body back. I developed a spell that will allow you to freely transform between you pony bodies and your other bodies." She asked us.

"Everyone else let me cast my spell on them, I would've cast my spell on you while you were asleep, but I like to ask for permission first." Twilight smiled.

Chara and I accepted the Alicorn's offer and we're soon returned to our former bodies.

"This is gonna be interesting." I said before I walked over to Mom with Chara following me.

"Let me be the first pony to properly welcome you all to Equestria!" Twilight said happily.

"Thank you very kindly, Miss Twilight. I hope we can make a good home for ourselves here!" Mom returned the Alicorn Princess's sentiment.

"I'm sure it will." I said happily. I grabbed my sister's hand a gave it a happy squeeze.

"I'm glad this worked out for everyone!" Sunset said, clearly relieved. Wow she looked pretty in her pony form.

After weeks of worry and uneasiness we had with the humans, we coumd rest easily for once. We finally had a safe place to call home. The Monsters could live in peace now.

A Night Walk

Sans Pov:

I was very glad that there was a way for us to keep our normal bodies instead of having to live the rest of my life as a pony. I'm also like ninety-nine percent sure that Undyne would've murdered someone if she had to be a pony forever. When we finally came to terms with the fact that we were now in a new world, we all decided to put off everything else for tomorrow as everyone was pretty shaken up with the events of the previous day. I was perfectly fine with that. It meant I had an excuse to sleep without Paps yelling at me. I took a shortcut to a random empty room with a bed and claimed it as mine for the night. I know rude, but hey, I was bone tired. At least, that was what I was planing to do, before the kid tugged on my jacket to get my attention. The kiddo seemed to have gotten younger when we passed through the portal. Chara did too, Frisk seemed about eight now and Chara looked about ten. No one else seemed to have changed this way which was weird.

"yeah? what is it kiddo?" I asked them.

"Do you want to take a walk around with me? Please?" They asked. I was about to say no, that I was too tired, but they pulled out their ultimate weapon. The look. I succumbed before their power and conceded to their demands.

"sure thing kiddo, i don't see why not."

They smiled up at me before leading to who knows where. I decided to look around the building we had ended up in when we came through that portal thingy. From what I could tell, we were in some sort of crystal castle palace thing. Neat, I was a friend of a friend of royalty. Well more royalty, anyway, considering I was in a relationship with the Queen/Former Queen/Leader again of Monsters. We were walking for the longest time, it had been ages since we left the group and the kid still didn't seem to have a destination.

"kid, where are we going? it's ages since we started walking." I voiced my concerns.

"I'm trying to find the way out of this place and look around outside. Also Sans, it's only been ten minutes since we started walking." The kid giggled.

"yeah, well they were long minutes." I insisted. They rolled their eyes before we spotted another resident of this castle. She was another purple pony, her fur was a darker shade of purple than the other one's.

"Hello Lady!" The kid greeted, getting the mare's attention. She gaped a little in surprise when she turned around and saw us.

"Uhh."

"hi there." I waved. That seemed to snap her out of her stupor as she shook her head violently to the left and right.

"Sorry, Sorry, I just wasn't expecting to see a bipedal walking talking skeleton and a bipedal...." She trailed off.

"I'm a human." Frisk finished for the pony.

"Sorry, I just wasn't expecting you to look so different."

"heh, don't sweat it. it's tibia expected after all." I said, cracking out one of my signature puns. That seemed to cause the...byzantium? Screw it, going with byzantium. That seemed to cause the byzantium Unicorn to snicker. She seemed to enjoy puns, so that made this pony alright in my book.

"anyways, i'm sans. sans the skeleton. this adorable little ball of determination is frisk. frisk the frisk." I said holding Frisk up by her sides.

"Howdy!" She said before making a finger gun at the unicorn.

"Bang!" She grinned.

"Hello there little one. I'm Tempest, Tempest Shadow!" Tempest greeted with a smile as she leaned to Frisk's level. (She was pretty tall.) This pony seemed to also like kids. That made her even better in my book.

"That's an awesome name!" Frisk said with an adorable gasp. They were nailing the excitable eight year old act to the point I was starting to think they might've mentally reverted to an eight year old. They seemed to remember everything, though, so that was good.

"She is quite adorable like you say, Sans." Tempest said. I was about to correct the mare but Frisk did it before I could. They blew a raspberry at the mare before screaming;

"THEY!" They screamed before sticking out their tongue at Tempest.

"I'm afraid I don't follow." She said confused.

"frisk here is non-binary. they don't like being referred to with a specific gender, aside from the lone exception of the word 'sister'. only their sister can call them sister, though and vice versa." I informed the mare.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to offend you, little one!" Tempest exclaimed as she bowed her head low.

"S'okay, you're nice so I forgive you." Frisk said. This entire exchange happened with me holding Frisk by their sides. I was trying very hard not to laugh. good thing i'm so good at hiding my feelings from people (and ponies, now).

"Thank you, little one. I'm glad you won't hold it against me." She said happily.

I noticed that she had some kind of uniform on, and I also noticed that her uniform had that Twilight Sparkle pony's...Cutie Mark? I think that's what they were called. Anyways, she had Twilight's Cutie Mark on the flanks of her uniform. Oh yeah that's right. Twilight was an..Alicron, as they were called and I'm pretty sure Sunset told me that Alicorns' were regarded as Royalty and Goddesses throughout Equestria.

"are you a knight or something?" I asked her as I put down Frisk, much to their charge in. They really liked being held it seems. The byzantium unicorn seemed to puff up in pride when brought this up.

"I'm the Captain of The Sparkle Royal Guard, as well as Twilight Sparkle's wife." She said, practically oozing pride at the mention of those two facts.

"Oooh, you're a Royal Guard Captain, too?! I'm friends with a Royal Guard Captain!!" Frisk spoke up. Tempest seemed a little surprised by this revelation and looked to me for confirmation.

"it's true. they're practically besties." I admitted. Tempest grew a thoughtful expression at this.

"I wonder how strong she is." She pondered out loud. I then thought back to one of many of the...forbidden runs as I'm going to start calling them now. Considering the fact that Undyne remembers the resets to some extent, too, it's probably safe to say that Undyne is probably the strongest Monster there is, if you don't count my admittedly overpowered bullshit powers.

"I bet she's stronger than you, Tempest!" Frisk bragged with a grin. Tempest arched an eyebrow at the kid's words.

"Really, now? We'll have to put that to the test." She said.

"Perhaps another time, though. You all just got here, yes? You should probably get settled in." Tempest said.

"that's the plan. the kiddo want's to go for a walk and we don't really know how to get out of here, so would ya mind showing us the way?" I asked the unicorn.

"Right down that hall." She said while pointing to the hall on her right.

"thanks. welp, we'll be seeing ya later." I said, the kid and I waving goodbye to the unicorn before heading down the hall she had pointed out. We had been walking through the hallway in silence for a bit before the kid decided to break the silence with more conversation.

"Hey Sans?" The kid asked.

"yeah kid?" I responded while looking at them. They looked up at me, directly in the eyesockets. They had a glint in their eyes.

"I'm glad you decided to come walking with me." They said.

"sure thing, kiddo." I said with a grin. They grew their own grin before continuing with what they were saying.

"I would just be so bonely without you."

Oh. My. God. This kid is perfect!!

I ruffled the kids hair, causing them to giggle.

"kid, i'm so proud of you." I said sincerely.

"Hehehe, Thanks, Dad!" They said happily. Wait what?

"uh, kid? what did you just say?" I asked in surprise. Their eyes seemed to widen as they just now realized what they had said.

"Uh, I uh, I mean, uh. I meant to say Sans!!" They said frantically.

"uh huh, sure." I said, a little more sarcastically than I meant to. The kid then clung to me in a desperate hug. It startled me a little, causing me to step back a bit. After regaining my bearing, I returned the kids hug.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry! Please don't hate me!" The kid said desperately, tears threatening to fall from their eyes.

"Hey, Hey, Frisk. I'm not gonna hate you for calling me Dad, I could never hate you. Especially considering I've come to see you as my own kid." I admitted. That seemed to do the trick as they stopped squirming frantically and looked up at me with a hopeful expression.

"R-Really? You mean it?" They asked hopefully. My concerned expression softened into a smile.

"Yeah, 'course I do, Frisk." I answered truthfully. After everything I have been through with this kid, there was no way I couldn't think of them as my own child of sorts. Even if they don't remember most of what I do, which saddens me greatly, but it's better that they don't remember the things from the other timelines.

"Thank you for everything, Dad." They said before going back to hugging me. I grinned at them before chuckling.

"heh, no problem kid." We continued walking down the hall and finally came across the exit to the castle. We left through the doors and walk out a bit before turning around to view the building we were in from the outside. We were both surprised when we saw what that it they castle was an actual giant living crystal tree.

"as huge as that thing is, there is no way that thing isn't bigger on the inside." I said in amazement.

"Que Tardis noises." Frisk joked, causing both of us to snicker. The sky was freaking beautiful in this world. I mean seriously, the sun was completely down but the sky was still a amazing shade of purple and there were so many stars! Papyrus would LOVE this.

"Wow, this sky is freakin' beautiful." I said in my amazement.

"It's so pretty." Frisk whispered, stars quite literally shining in her eyes.

"maybe we should get everyone together for this and go stargazing or something." I suggested to the kid. To my surprise, they shook their head negatively.

"No thanks, daddy, but right now, I just wanna share this moment with you." They said with a small smile.

"alright then, sure thing kiddo." I said before wrapping my arm around them. We then decided to walk around the town we were in and continue to sight see. The buildings around reminded me of rustic German architecture a little bit. Very nice. There was a building that looked like it was a giant cupcake, which was hilarious to me for some reason.

"Hey, dad, look! It's a gingerbread house!" Frisk as they pointed at the building I was just describing.

"oh jeez, kiddo. that's hilarious." I laughed. There were still ponies wandering about from here and there, but there weren't an over abundance of them. That was tibia expected though, it IS the middle of the night after all. There was a mountain in the distance in the east direction from the town and there was an other castle on the side of it.

'i wonder what that place is...' I thought to myself before Frisk pulled me along to somewhere. I saw they were directing us towards more ponies, most likely to talk to them.

I sighed to myself before preparing for more explanations and abusing Frisk's adorableness to diffuse tense situations. It's going to be awhile before I get to sleep, isn't it.

But as I saw the smile on my kid's face, I thought that a little sleep deprivation would be worth it.

??? Pov:

We've been walking for so long. This fucking sucks. She was leaning into me as we walked.

"I'm glad I at least have you." I told her.

"Me too." She replied with a small smile.

We still had each other, as cliche as that sounds. This was the one thing that was keeping the both of us going through all of this. Everyone we knew and loved before was now dead.

"I hope we can find a new life. If not in this place we're headed to, at least somewhere." She said.

"I know. I hope so too." I said as we continued walking. We had been walking for weeks now. Stopping only to sleep and eat and stuff like that. We had to resort to stealing food from places we had come across when we ran out of the little food we had taken with us from our hometown.

"I can't believe I used to like hiking when I was younger. Man I was an idiot." She said.

"Meh, it's kind of fun I guess, in a fucked up way." I said.

"You're an idiot now too." She teased.

"I can still drop you."

"...I guess hiking is fun in a fucked up way." She repeated. I rolled my eyes at my girlfriend's antics before deciding to carry her bridal style.

"The first thing we do when we find a place to stay is take a shower." I said.

"I didn't think you could still smell how bad we do, I thought we both went nose blind or whatever it's called." She said with a...look that I don't know how to describe.

"I never said it would be for just cleanliness, I just want a relaxing shower with my girlfriend." I clarified.

"You mean you want shower sex." She teased.

"....maybe..." I admitted.

"And you call me the pervert." She laughed. I gave her a playful condescending look.

"You're purposefully touching my breasts with yours right now." I said simply.

"....shut up." She mumbled. We shared a small laugh. I'm glad we were still able to laugh and crack stupid jokes after everything that happened.

I really hope we can start over in where ever we end up on our long journey. After a few minutes, she had fallen asleep in my arms as we continued to walk. Deciding to make a pit stop for the night, I found a small cave not far off of the road and placed her inside. I used my jacket as a blanket for her, and since I was almost twice her size, it worked pretty well. I sat up against the wall near the entrance to the cave and kept watch over her. I really didn't think it was a good idea for both of us to be asleep at once while we were in the wild forest. It's good thing that I can go so long without sleep.

"Another long night of creepily watching my girlfriend sleep....yay." I mumbled to myself.

Sans Pov:

I was pretty sure that the kid had introduced the two of us to everypony we had ran into while we were taking a walk through the town of....Ponyville, I had learned it was called. Almost all of them reacted the same as Tempest did to our appearances, some more...drastically, then others. I was pretty sure one of them had wanted to crucify me or something. Thankfully, with the power of Talk No Jutsu and the kid's adorableness, we managed to calm all of them down and have proper conversations with them all.

"i think i can safely say that was the most productive walk i have ever been on in my life." I commented jokingly as we headed back towards the castle.

"Most likely!" The kid agreed with a grin.

"we're pretty lucky your so adorable, kid. even when your in pony form." I said while I ruffled their hair. This, of course, caused them to giggle. We reached the castle and headed inside.

"welp, we probably should find a couple of empty rooms and hit the hay for the night. it's gettin' pretty late, kiddo." I told them.

"we don't want to be like a bike and be two-tired tomorrow, now do we?" I said with a wink. Mission Accomplished! Bad joke laughs achieved!

"Dad, can I sleep with you tonight?" Frisk asked me after a few minutes.

"of course ya can, kiddo." I agreed.

"here, come with me. i know a shortcut." I said as I grabbed their hand. I then brought us into a random empty room with a bed in it. I kicked of my shoes (slippers) off in a random direction and took off my coat and laid it on a desk nearby.

"neat shortcut, huh?" I said while winking once again. The kid was looking around in amazement at the fact that we were suddenly in a different room from before.

"Woah! Hey, can you teach me how to do that!?" They asked with excitement. I snickered to myself as they practically radiated eagerness as the jumped up and down.

"eh, maybe someday, frisk. let's get some sleep now, yeah?" I said as I jumped into the empty bed. Frisk had climbed in right after they had taken off their shoes and curled up next to me. I put an arm around them and pulled them closer to me protectively before using magic to bring the covers over us.

"Good night, Dad! .....I love you." They said as they settled into their position.

"night kiddo. love ya too." I said before drifting off. I'm glad I can still be an important part of my kid's life after everything we had been through. It made me sad that Frisk probably wouldn't remember most of the stuff we had been through throughout all of the reset's, but I still loved the kid like they were my own. The fact that Frisk had asked me to be their dad had made me so happy.

The following morning.

Chara Pov:

"Chara." Someone spoke suddenly, jolting me awake. When I woke up, I was confused for a second until I remembered everything that had happened.

"Chara." The same person from before spoke again from my left. It was Flowey.

"What do you want, Flowey?" I asked him.

"it's morning, eight A.M. I think. I just thought that I should probably wake you up now." Flowey said. He was looking to the side thoughtfully, he clearly had something else he wanted to say or ask.

"What is it, Flowey? I can tell there is something else on your mind." I asked him. He looked at me in slight surprise, but seemed like he was expecting me to catch on to him, just that he was hoping that I wouldn't. He then appeared to have an entire debate to himself on whether to talk about what was bothering him or not. He then sighed to himself as he decided to talk.

"Do...do you think it would be alright if you planted me in the ground here?" He asked me. That was a little surprising.

"Of course it's fine, why wouldn't it be?" I said simply.

"I didn't think that you would trust me enough to do that." He admitted.

"I can see why you would think that, but you really shouldn't be limited to a pot. That has to suck." I said.

"Thank you, Chara. This really means a lot to me." He said with a smile.

"No problem, bro." I said back with a smaller smile. I would plant him later in the day after we met up with everyone else for breakfast and figured out what we were going to do now that we are in a different world.

Frisk Pov:

HOLY HECK THIS BREAKFAST IS DELICIOUS!!!!

I mean seriously! These pancakes and eggs are the best I have ever had in my life. Everyone had gathered in Miss Twilight's dining room/hall for breakfast. Mom was talking with Miss Twilight about things concerning Monster Pony Relations. Apparently, since Equestria was a Monarchy, Monster/Pony Relations were much less complicated than it would be with humans. There's also the fact that the ponies of Equestria, at least from what I've seen, are much better beings than humans.

I could tell Chara had shared my opinions. With the pancakes, and ponies. From what I can tell, Chara really liked the ponies, probably because they aren't human. I could also tell that Chara really liked their pony form, but refrains from changing into it, mostly because of me. I had asked them if they would mind staying in human form with me for awhile and if we could gradually get used to our pony forms. I had also noticed that Flowey seemed to show lots of emotion, and they were real! Maybe Goatbro will be returning sooner than we had thought. Everybody else seemed to just be enjoying the wonderful breakfast.

"SOMETHING OTHER THAN SPAGHETTI CAN BE THIS DELICIOUS?!?!" That line right there basically summed up Papyrus's reaction to the pancakes.

"yeah bro. i keep telling you that you should broaden you horizon when it comes to food." Dad playfully chided.

"NYEH!! I WAS SO USED TO YOU BEING A LAZYBONES THAT I THOUGHT YOU WERE TRYING TO GET ME TO BE LAZY!!!" Papyrus exclaimed frantically. Everyone had found their antics quite funny. As a passing thought, should I call Papyrus Uncle Papyrus? I'll ask Dad about it later.

"As I was saying, Miss Toriel, I think we should talk to Princess Celestia about all of this as she outranks the rest of the Princesses of Equestria, including me. She really should be titled Queen now that I think about it." Twilight told Mom.

"I would love to meet this Princess Celestia, Twilight. I hope I make a good impression with her as a leader of another species." Mom replied with a smile.

"I'm sure you will, Toriel." Miss Twilight said with her own smile.

"You know, you remind me of her in some ways." Twilight told her.

"if that's the case, then this celestia lady should be a really good pony. i hope she doesn't mind meeting our equinetance." Dad joked, causing Mom, Chara, and I to burst into laughter. Twilight chuckled to herself as did Tempest. Asgore groaned.

"NYEEEEEEHHHHHHH! SAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!"

That's what Papyrus's reaction was.

Looking around the table and seeing everyone having a genuinely good time, I feel like life in Equestria can really work out for us. I really do think we can have a good life here. And I think that everyone else thinks that too.

Later in the day.

Still Frisk's Pov:

After our breakfast, Miss Twilight had suggested that she take Mom over to Princess Celestia's castle to talk about our arrival in Equestria and as one leader of a species to another. I had clung to Mom's side and refused to let go of her unless she promised me that I could come with her. Mom had agreed very quickly when I used my ultimate technique; The Puppy Eyes of Doom! Miss Twilight seemed a little apprehensive at first, but caved in and let me come with her and my Mom. Mom and Miss Twilight had informed everyone of what was happening and where we would be going. Asgore had wanted to come with, but a stern glare from Mom got him to stand down. He was happy to accept Mom as the leader of the Monsters now. According to him, she was a better ruler than he ever was.

"Should I come with you? I am/was the captain of The Royal Guard." Undyne asked Miss Twilight and Mom. Miss Twilight seemed to ponder this for a little bit.

"Hmm. I guess we may need to establish things that might and most likely will concern you at some point, Miss Undyne. I think it would work for the best if you would come with us." Miss Twilight said after a few minutes.

"Alright, I'll tag along then." Undyne said with a grin before joining us. Tempest had followed her soon after and joined are little group.

"Gives me an excuse to spend time with my bestie!" She said with her grin growing as she gave me an affectionate noogie. I giggled at the action.

"Haha! Undyne! Please Stop!" I begged, grabbing the offending arm.

"Fuhuhu! You'll have to try harder than that to stop me!" She cackled. This continued for awhile, Mom was looking on with an amused grin. Twilight was stifling a giggle at our actions. After a few moments, Mom finally stepped in.

"Alright, Alright. That's enough, Undyne." She said as she pulled me away from the aggressively friendly piranha Monster. She held me in her arms, suspended off of the ground.

"Heh. Sorry Ma'am. I got a little carried away." She apologized while sheepishly rubbing the back of her head.

"It's fine. Just please make sure not to get too rough with my child." She said while still holding me. I had squirmed around and managed to get into a more comfortable position in Mom's arms.

"Do you wish for me to carry you for a while, my child?" Mom asked me.

"Yes please!" I agreed with a small grin as I snuggled in closer to Mom's very warm embrace.

"We should probably get going now." Miss Twilight said before leading us out of the castle. I yawned a little before drifting off to sleep in Mom's arms.

Goatmom aka Toriel Pov:

I smiled down at my child as they fell asleep in my arms.

"Miss Twilight, are we going to teleport to Celestia's castle?" I asked the lavender Alicorn softly as to not wake my child.

"We could, but I think it would be best if we take the train. Let's let Frisk sleep for a bit." She said after a few minutes of contemplation.

"Also, please, Toriel. Call me Twilight, you don't have to be so formal, you're my friend now." She said with a smile.

"Of course, Twilight. If you insist." I smiled back.

We reached the exit of the living crystal tree castle after a few minutes and headed towards Ponyville's train station. Undyne had been chatting with Twilight's companion about things.

"So, you're the Captain of the Monsters' Royal Guard." Tempest inquired.

"Yes I sure am. The name's Undyne." Undyne answered with a grin as she held out her hand.

"I'm Tempest Shadow. I'm Twilight's Royal Guard Captain." She replied while giving Undyne her hoof. They had a hoof/hand shake of introduction.

"Nice to meet you, Tempest. Weird meeting someone with the same position as me. I imagine our jobs as respective Captains are different in some regards, though." Undyne said with a smile.

"Same here." Tempest said simply.

Soon after that, we reached the train station quite quickly.

"We'll be in two separate cars. Toriel, you and Frisk should be in one with me. Tempest and Undyne will share the other one." Twilight informed us as we boarded the train.

"Alright, that's fine by me." Undyne agreed. Tempest and I agreed with Twilight as well. The four of us plus Frisk went into our separate train cars. I took a seat across from Twilight and laid Frisk down next to me and propped their head on my lap.

"If you don't mind, may I ask how long you've had Frisk as your child, Toriel?" Twilight asked me after the train had pulled off from the station.

"Well, Twilight. I had met my child a little over two months ago and they have accomplished so much in that amount of time." I answered honestly.

"Wow, only two months?" Twilight gasped.

"I know, amazing isn't it? They are quite attached to us all despite only knowing us for such a small amount of time." I said as looked at my sleeping child fondly.

"Even so, I feel like I have known Frisk for years, and I would gladly do everything I possibly can to help my child." I stated as I ran my furred hand through my child's hair lovingly and smiled fondly as they grew a small smile in their sleep.

"If I can say anything with certainty, it would that you are probably the greatest mother I will ever meet." Twilight said with a great smile directed at the two of us.

"Heheh. Why thank you very much, Twilight." I chuckled in response to her comment.

"Although I appreciate the compliment, I'm sure that's an exaggeration, my friend." I told her with a grateful smile.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that, Toriel." She insisted. I chuckled at her words, glad that she believes that I'm a great mother.

"We'll be arriving in Canterlot in about an hour." Twilight said after a few minutes.

"I look forward to meeting Celestia." I told her honestly.
